  • Lancia Delta Integrale EVO II

Some cars are just born classic. This Lancia Delta Integrale EVO II, in Bleu Lord, has an understated, refined air about it. In many ways it’s a pity that she only has 104 miles on the clock. Delivered brand new to Japan and stored in the original owner’s home until recently. When it sold, it came complete with plastic coverings on the floor, seats, and door cards. Quite literally like new. Courtesy Canepa www.canepa.com

  • Maserati MC12 Versione Corsas

One of only 12 MC12 Versione Corsas built — the most powerful Maserati. Designed for track use the MC12 Corsa was a direct development of the MC12 GT1. The race-derived 6.0-litre, naturally aspirated, V12 engine produced an incredible 745 bhp at 8,000 rpm — over 110 bhp more than the MC12 Stradale and 150 bhp more than the MC12 GT1 race car. Awesome. Courtesy of Girardo & Co www.girardo.com/

  • Aston Martin DB3

Here’s a story of turning abject failure into success: In 1951, the Aston Martin DB3 went down, as they say, like a lead balloon. Heavy and cumbersome, it made little impact on the race track. Two years later, Aston Martin returned with a younger, lighter, and speedier car -- the DB3S. The rest is history. This one here was photographed at the Franschhoek Motor Museum near Cape Town, South Africa.
