  • 1954 Ferrari 500 Mondial Series I by Pinin Farina

Ferrari Factory entry at the 1954 Mille Miglia. Original, matching-numbers rebuilt engine included. Hall & Hall built 3 litre race engine fitted. Incredibly well-documented including Massini report. spare DeDion tube, among many other important extras. Automotive historians and enthusiasts alike will most often reference the Ferrari V12 engine and how it propelled this early race car constructor to the celebrated victories that built their reputation. But in the early 1950s Enzo Ferrari began taking notice of smaller, lightweight cars that benefited from four-cylinder engines. These compact engines made great power and were highly competitive even against larger, heavier competitors. Inspired by this, Enzo assigned engineer Aurelio Lampredi to develop a robust, high revving engine leveraging all the traits of the bigger V12, utilizing a compact in-line four-cylinder configuration. The end result would prove to be one of the most successful engine designs, delivering victories in race after race with notable drivers at the wheel including Alberto Ascari who proved the four-cylinder Ferrari was a true contender, achieving consecutive championships in the four-cylinder F2 Monoposto, clinching the 1952 and 1953 title. Engineered with many of the celebrated features of the V12, the 1,984-cc dual overhead-camshaft Lampredi engine featured twin Weber 40 DCOA/3 carburetors paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. The surprising 170hp output was certainly robust, but it was the power to weight ratio that not only proved to be fantastic, in some cases, the performance could outdo the V12. Mounted into the tubular steel chassis, the independent front suspension with transverse leaf springs, de Dion rear axle with parallel trailing arms and semi-elliptic leaf springs, with four-wheel drum brakes, all contributed to making a taut and agile race car that operated at peak torque even at lower rpms. The combined package was not only nimble, but the engine also delivered great acceleration especially on tight racecourses and hill climbs where the power to weight advantage and snappy torque proved over and over, Ferrari had once again built a champion. By 1954, Ferrari offered the four-cylinder sports/racer to customers as a two-liter model, with each cylinder displacing almost 500 cubic centimeters. The car was dubbed the 500 Mondial, in recognition of Ascari’s back-to-back World Championships. Beginning with chassis 0404MD, 18 spiders and two berlinettas were built comprising the first series, all of which were bodied by Pinin Farina. A second series of 10 Scaglietti-bodied cars followed, resulting in the construction of just 30 500 Mondials before yielding to the three-liter 750 Monza. Rare in both number and sequence, each of the coveted Mondial cars offer a unique perspective on the period, the engineering of the era, and the racing history that defines each individually realized provenance. According to the Marcel Massini report and accompanying support documentation specifically referencing the history of chassis #0408, on March 23, 1954, the tipo 501 chassis was completed and the engine and gearbox subsequently prepared in April. The first documented owner of the car was then assigned to Scuderia Ferrari, effectively making its first outing as a Ferrari factory race car. The third of only 22 Series 1 Mondial Spiders constructed, and the third of only 16 bodied by Pinin Farina, the car was fitted with body #12576 by Pinin Farina and dispatched to the 1954 Mille Miglia. With the intention of dominating this event, Ferrari entered an astonishing 24 cars, five of which were Mondials, four being Pinin Farina bodied. The Massini report and supporting letter concludes that through the process of elimination, chassis #0408 was most likely driven by Paolo Pineschi and Mirko Landini in the 1954 Mille Miglia. As was common for the times, the financially challenged Ferrari sold many of their race cars to raise funds to finance the construction of the next models. In May 1954, the car was sold by the Ferrari factory to Swedish importer Tore Bjurstrom, who in turn sold the car shortly thereafter to the first private owner, Valdemar Stener, a resident of Lhusdal, Farila, Sweden. Stener, no stranger to performance cars and a capable racer in his own right, also owned and raced a Ferrari 375MM. On May 9, 1954, Stener entered the car in the Helsinki Grand Prix, Finland, race #2 where he placed 5th in category C for all racing cars, further at Ljungsdalbacken finishing 2nd overall, and then May 23, 1954, at Hedemora, Sweden, placing 2nd overall and 1st in class, race #23. Stener continued to race the car successfully throughout the 1955 racing season, then sold it in October 1955 to Bjorn Martensson. Martensson registered the car on Swedish plates and competed in three ice races with additional recorded races including entry in the 1956 Copenhagen Grand Prix, Denmark, and once again in the 1956 Swedish Grand Prix finishing 2nd in class and 10th overall. In 1957 the car returned to the Ferrari factory where it was overhauled, returning once again to Sweden where it competed in the 1957 Swedish Grand Prix. Later that year the car was sold to Olof “Mas-Olle” Persson, who then won the National Ice Racing Championship driving this car. In 1958, the car was sold to Lars Edin, Uppsala, Sweden. Edin raced the car a few times before dismantling the original bodywork and commissioning Ockelbo, manufacturers of snowmobiles, to rebody the car with a GRP fiberglass body in the style of Ulf Norinder’s Ferrari 500 Mondial #0580. Using #0580 as a body template, the mold was cast, a body shell made, and the finished car was painted bright yellow with a broad central black stripe covering the entire length of the car longitudinally. Through the 1960s and 1970s the car appeared in this livery in a range of events as Massini documents the changes in ownership until 1973 when it is sold to Gary D. Schmidt. In 1977, Schmidt drove the car in the Mille Miglia Retrospective and other events until selling it through Italian dealer Corrado Cupellini to Stefano Arborini, a resident of Ferrara, Italy. Under the care of Arborini, the car participated at the Mille Miglia nearly every year of his ownership until sold in 1986 through Dutch dealer Rudy Pas to Adrien De Ghellinck, Brussels, Belgium. De Ghellinck then participates in two Mille Miglia events before selling the car in 1988 to Italian Alessandro Tonolli who further continues the tradition with his participation in the 1989 and 1991 Mille Miglia spending considerable resources on mechanical work on the car performed by Livo Guarnieri between 1993-1995. In 1995, Tonolli delived the car to Carrozzeria Bachelli & Villa, Bastiglia, Modena where it was rebodied back to the original Pinin Farina Spider configuration using hand-formed alloy panels just as had been done for the original body. Further mechanical sorting was then performed by Livo Guarnieri and completed in time to participate in the 1995 Louis Vuitton Italia Classica held in Italy. In 1997 the car was sold to renowned collector Bruce McCaw, Washington, USA via Brooks Europe Auction. McCaw participated in the 1997 Chrysler Classic Speed Festival, San Diego, CA and in 1999 commissioned a ground-up restoration. After the restoration, McCaw continued to race and show the car in various events including the 2004 Rolex Monterey Historic Automobile Races at Laguna Seca, CA. In 2005, the car was sold to the current owner who, over the past fifteen years has participated in numerous vintage HMSA and CSRG events. Among the more recent achievements, the car finished 1st in class and 2nd at the West Coast 2009 Ferrari Shell Historic Challenge two-day event. The vintage racing logbook included with the car includes the first entry in 1997, multiple Monterey Reunion and Sonoma Historic events in which it won, CSRG David Love Memorial, and concludes with the 2019 Sonoma Festival of Speed in which it won. 2016 Laguna Seca Rolex Monterey Pre-Reunion race results include a 3rd position in Group 1 1947-1955 Sports Racing and GT Cars, 4th position finish in Groupe 1B 1947-1955 Sports Racing and GT Cars, and a 2015 Sonoma Historics 4th position in the Group 2 1946-1955 Sports Racing and Production Cars class. In 2019, under current ownership the original engine no. 0408MD, internal number 5MD was removed and Hall & Hall were contracted to produce a modern-cast 3 Liter engine (stamped to reflect the original chassis and engine number 0408) which was documented with detailed specifications and dyno tested with specialists ‘Auto Restorations’ in New Zealand, returning 200hp at 4,700 rpm (dyno sheet included in documentation). Additionally, Auto Restorations constructed a hand-made de Dion tube to exact specifications, replacing the original unit so as to preserve it without risk of damage while participating in vintage events. To ensure confidence in the future use of the original de Dion tube, it was magnaflux tested, documented, and found to be free of any cracks. Further work included a new set of custom-made gears installed in the rebuilt transaxle, and a removable roll bar. Most critically, the impossibly rare original matching numbers engine, rebuilt by West Coast Ferrari guru and Pebble Beach winning Patrick Ottis still remains with the car and is thoughtfully included. Engine dyno results for this engine, recorded in 2008, are also included with the car. As many vehicles of this stature will have both historic provenance and hold an important position in motorsports history, there is yet another critical distinction among Ferrari enthusiasts who wish to drive their cars in tours, events, or vintage racing - mechanical confidence. Not simply in restoration, rather at a level where engineering, premier thinking, all with the appropriate application of modern technology that still honors authentic features original to the car. Here too this particular example is among the most refined and developed by virtue of the extensive and pre-eminently qualified attention that has been so diligently applied from the very best in the industry. The invoice history notebook housing over 300 individual pages from experts including Patrick Ottis, Auto Restorations, Peterson Motorsports, Piece Manifolds, Hall & Hall engineering, Precision Wire Wheels, and numerous other specialty vendors is a fitting document outlining not only the detailed restoration work performed on the car, but also the considerable knowledge and engineering given to refining this Mondial to a level that can be driven with the utmost confidence. Of critical importance, the Hall & Hall 3-liter engine is a superb and powerful modern-built yet period correct engine that affords the preservation of the original matching numbers engine while allowing this Ferrari to serve the dynamic competition purpose, for which it was so brilliantly conceived. The detailed invoice outlining the specifications for the engine demonstrate the superlative engineering and construction that accompany this car from ignition through each consecutive lap. Documentation in each of the invoices is specific to outline details including mag testing for specific parts, dyno testing for the H&H engine, and ongoing inspections and continued attention to detail through 2020 which includes new axles, rear end hubs, rear backing plates for rear brakes, proper fabrication of new internal deDion components, bearing housings, welding and assembly for the deDion tube, and crack testing. Certainly, the financial investment is substantial, but it is also the carefully curated components, the cadre of experts, and the unceasing dedication of the owner to work year after year beautifully composing this significant Mondial into a confident participant of any contemporary event. Invoices dating back to 2005 demonstrate year after year of consistent and dedicated care and refinement restoring this Mondial to the finest operational standards possible, all while maintaining an appropriate balance of historic provenance, era-appropriate construction and refinement, and beautifully composed cosmetics. Since 2019, participation in vintage events was limited due to pandemic restrictions, however, the owner has driven the car approximately 250 trouble-free road miles through West Sonoma County. Today this Mondial 500 presents in superb visual and mechanical condition with beautiful paint and hand-crafted details that reflect not only a refined and accurate restoration but correct body lines and contours that embody the excellence and raw performance power imbued in the Pinin Farina aesthetic. Every aspect of the exterior finish and detailing are exemplary. True to the Pinin Farina corsa construction the body work displays the distinct rivet pattern at various points on the alloy panels echoing the relationship between race cars of this era and airplane construction. Inescapably beautiful, the front fender lines arche up over the front wheels and drop dramatically at the covered headlights with the wide grille ready to attack anything that dares to challenge the head of the pack. Among the more enticing exterior details, the rear fuel filler cap and carefully scripted Ferrari 500 Mondial lettering put a beautiful finishing competition touch on the muscular flanks. The slightly raised trunk line conceals the required spare tire, rising up to meet the peaked crowns of the rear fender haunches. Even the characteristic belt line recess is beautifully sculpted, sliced into the smooth upper body line giving the car a forward surge of energy. The panel fit is excellent for all openings with precise perimeter finishes along the alloy folds and correct treatment for the inside panels. The reflection lines drape the car in a liquid energy tracing the historic perimeter without interruption. The low windscreen and Borrani wire wheels further give the car an unmistakable stance and powerful presence. With the alloy tonneau in place and the wood rimmed steering wheel crowning above the cowl line, everything about this legendary Ferrari speaks volumes to those who revere the Golden Age of motorsports. Inside the cockpit, the purposefully lightened interior is enhanced with cloth covered seats finished in traditional blue pleated fabric which offers more grip than traditional slick leather. The seat cushions are tucked into the contoured aluminum seat shells. The interior features a metal and aluminum inner structure which has been finished in the typical grey material, showing areas of use typical for cars that have been driven with competition in mind. The instruments are beautifully finished with excellent color, clarity, and detail while the steering wheel boasts the finishes and features that speak volumes of the hands that gripped in anticipation witnessing decades of exiting apexes, one hand on the gearshift, the other unspooling the exit energy as the car bounds into the next straightaway. Modern dual MSD ignition has been installed beneath the dashboard and a Hobbs quartz counter has kept track of running hours on the currently installed engine. With the leather bonnet straps unlatched, chrome clasps rotated, the lightweight alloy hood is easily removed, revealing the beautifully cast and finished Hall & Hall 3 liter engine. A work of impeccable quality and superb engineering, this engine not only delivers an amazing level of performance and durability, the aesthetics and casting elegance are every bit as compelling as the original engine upon which the construction was based on. Breathing through eager 58DCOE3 Twin Weber carburetors via short, polished trumpet intakes, the details are brilliantly executed, and the finishes are both authentic and refined. The tuned exhaust funnels down to exit the car just as originally configured, draping through the inner fender and exiting to twin exhaust pipes, collecting under the passenger side with menacing authority. Inside the trunk reveals the fuel tank also constructed with exposed rivets, and mechanical details of historic delight in the original rear suspension, transaxle, and supporting framework. The underside of the car presents honestly with correct period construction for the main tubes and supporting structure and correct lightweight, finned cast aluminum brake drums. The rear transaxle is a vision of Italian mechanical artistry with finned cooling channels which are also echoed in the oil pan casting for the engine. Every aspect of this historically important Ferrari is presented with integrity and pride, reflecting decades of period racing and more recent vintage racing events. The car is accompanied by an impossibly rare and original factory issued Ferrari Mondial “Directions For Use and Upkeep” large format manual, complete with specifications, diagrams, and important service details. Also included is the 2017 Marcel Massini report, the signed Massini letter of review confirming his statement regarding participation of this car in the 1954 Mille Miglia, and the Ottis-rebuilt original matching numbers engine stamped 0408MD, mounted on an engine stand. A host of additional assorted spare parts accompanying the car include: Magnetos and distributors (two freshly rebuilt magnetos) A removable rollbar Exact replica spare alloy riveted fuel tank 4 Borrani wire wheels with Dunlop tires 3 Borrani spare wire wheels, no tires mounted 5 front and rear brake drums (some turned true) A complete spare exhaust header (two parts) Original 0408 engine lines and hardware Various pistons, rods etc. various used Misc. engine parts (some original to the car) New and correct Ferrari type fuel line Stub axles, one used, one new Original Mondial radiator An inner fender well shroud 1 box of valve springs, used Tilton master cylinder, used Cooling system pipe, used Drive line yolks, used Box of used hardware 2 spare U-joints, used Distributor cap, used Axle shafts, used Sway bar brackets Different size sway bars Spark plugs, used Generator, used Various engine gaskets A custom car cover with bag Beautiful and powerful, with a history of worldwide competition beginning with a Factory entry at the 1954 Mille Miglia, the 1955, 1956, and 1957 Swedish Grand Prix, the 1956 Copenhagen Grand Prix, and numerous Mille Miglia Historic events, this Ferrari Mondial 500 Spider is a rare and fitting ambassador with absolute Carte Blanche invitation to any future premier competition or concours event. The third of just sixteen Pinin Farina Mondial Spiders constructed, benefiting from world class cost-no-object mechanical attention, this Ferrari will continue its reign as a show-stopping example of one of the most beautifully composed competition cars ever constructed. Seminal to the rise of Ferrari as the racing icon it has become today, the Mondial 500 will forever hold a unique and important place in the history of exemplary competition sports cars. • 1959 Mercedes-Benz 190 SL

"A roadster for those who appreciate both beauty and engineering." - Mercedes Benz Let's take a step back in time, to the year 1959. The smell of freshly ground coffee fills the air, emanating from the bustling coffee houses where people gather on a spring morning. The sound of a soft purr attracts the attention of passers-by. A sleek Mercedes-Benz, with the iconic star proudly displayed on the radiator grille, turns the corner and gracefully comes to a halt in the middle of the boulevard. Eyes follow the elegant lines of the car. There stands the 190SL, the elegant and stylish counterpart to its big brother, the legendary 300SL. The 190SL, which originated from the design of the Mercedes 'Ponton', was first unveiled at the New York Auto Show. A year later, in Geneva, the production version was presented to the general public. Remarkably, this beautiful roadster was not positioned as a pure sports car, but as a luxurious, comfortable two-seater. This turned out to be a golden move—between 1955 and 1963, more than 25,000 units left the German production line, each with the same attention to detail and craftsmanship. This Cool Classic has received full technical attention. Maintained with care and love, everything has been done to bring it into top technical condition. Although the paint technique is somewhat outdated, this does not detract from the charm and quality of the car. The car is completely ready for wonderfully enjoyable rides. • 1984 Jajuar XJS Group A

Chassis 004 was built by TWR for Jaguar’s works European Touring Car Championship effort, taking multiple wins in the 1984 ETCC and a subsequent overall win in the gruelling 'Bathurst 1000' in 1985 - the only Jaguar to ever do so. Significantly, 004 is one of only two final lightweight development cars modified at the end of the program, making it the ultimate spec Group A XJS. The final cherry on top for this amazing and original warrior is that it was one of only two cars repainted in John Player Special colours for the ’84 Macau Guia Race, where it took 2nd overall behind the sister XJS. Surely the greatest Group A car of its era, the XJS can also lay claim to being the catalyst car for TWR's Le Mans winning Group C effort that followed its Touring Car triumphs. Certainly no car of its era can compete with the drama of the big green XJS's - huge wide slicks shoehorned under the haunches of the bodywork, protruding side-exit exhausts... but most importantly, the sound. The XJS was famous for drowning out the engine notes of all its competitors in period, and it still does today. Nothing compares or competes with its howling 500bhp V12 engine - the same V12 that went on to win Le Mans twice. Today there are only five genuine Group A Jaguar XJS in existence and 004 is without doubt the car that has had more love, care and sympathetic development lavished upon it than any other. It has been in the same ownership for some 20 years where it has been maintained absolutely no-expense-spared by its father and son team, both of whom are exceptional engineers and world-renown Jaguar experts. Race-ready for all the world's historic touring car grids, including Patrick Peter's magnificent Historic Touring Cup. 1984 Jajuar XJS Group A Duncan Hamilton Rofgo Ltd If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. This Porsche is still as Ferdinand intended; without impact bumpers or plastic. Chrome and other beautiful materials surround you with the look that the 911 really should. This example started its life in Belgium, but its story took a special turn in 2020. Discovered by the Cool Classic Club as a barn find, hidden in a remote, creaking barn. There, covered in a thick layer of dust, this Porsche eagerly awaited its rebirth. The find caught the attention of a Dutch car collector with a passion for restoring classic cars. The car was serviced by a Porsche specialist. When we saw him again, we stood with our mouths open in amazement and our tongues on our knees. During the restoration, every detail was treated with care, and the car was completely restored. Now, in pristine condition, this Porsche 911T Targa is ready to hit the roads and stroll again. 1969 Porsche 911 Targa Cool Classic Club If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. The notice and take down procedure is described here: https://www.speedholics.com/copyright The 993 is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful Porsches ever made, with its timeless silhouette and its legendary air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six engine. The all-wheel-drive configuration of the Carrera 4 enhances the Porsche’s traction and stability, making it an ideal choice for drivers seeking confidence-inspiring handling and all-weather capability. Originally hailing from Germany, this beautiful 911 is featured in Midnight Blue with a black leather interior and an electric blue soft top that was completely renewed in 2022. Between 1998 and 2006, the 993 Cabriolet was meticulously maintained by 2 successive Italian owners. It found its way to Belgium in 2007, where it continued to be regularly maintained by Porsche specialists. In 2022, the current owner did not hesitate to spend nearly 19,000 EUR to restore the engine and put the car in prime mechanical condition. He also installed a PCCM Porsche Classic Communication Management system bringing navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, and other modern amenities to this classic car. With a mileage of 167.500 Km, this Porsche 911 is ready to provide countless more miles of open-air driving pleasure. In 2025, it will turn 30 years old and deserve its oldtimer status, which can be seen as potential for value appreciation. • 1969-aston-martin-db6-vantage-mkii

Beautifully presented following extensive recent work that included a respray in its original shade of Dubonnet Rosso, this Aston Martin DB6 is a rare Vantage model that still boasts its original matching-numbers engine. Chassis number DB6/3596/R was completed at the Newport Pagnell factory on 4 February 1969 and first registered on 14 March. It was sold new via Aston Martin dealer Arnold G Wilson, and although it’s a late Mk1 model, it subsequently gained Mk2-style flared wheelarches. The DB6 had only two owners between 1978 and 2019, the second of which used it on numerous tours to Switzerland, Spain, France and Ireland. They covered more than 30,000 miles in the Aston, using it all year round and always making sure that it was fastidiously maintained. During their ownership, the front suspension was rebuilt, a new clutch and balanced flywheel were installed, the propshaft was replaced, the engine received a top-end rebuild with an unleaded conversion, and the linkage to the triple Weber carburettors was rebuilt in order to further enhance the car’s already impressive performance. A new windscreen, front grille and front bumpers were also fitted, and not only was the DB6 driven enthusiastically, it was also displayed at prestigious events such as the Hampton Court Concours of Elegance. It was at one of those events that the owner met someone who’d owned the Aston Martinduring the 1970s. He reported that the Mk2-style flared arches had been done by the time he bought the car, and also that he’d fitted a Mk2 gearbox. The original Mk1 unit had apparently failed after he rebuilt the engine and then forgot to refill the gearbox with oil… After passing to a new owner in 2019 and forming part of a private collection, this DB6continued to be used and enjoyed on lengthy tours. Now being offered for sale at the Classic Motor Hub, it comes with a comprehensive history file as well as a Heritage Certificate, and is a supremely usable example of this muscular, stylish grand tourer. 1969 Aston Martin DB6 Vantage MkII The Classic Motor Hub If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1962 Lancia Appia GTE - Coachwork by Zagato

Styled like its Aurelia B10 big brother, Lancia’s new Appia small car arrived in 1953. The Lancia tradition of outstanding innovation in automotive technology was exemplified by the Appia’s ultra-compact engine, a narrow-angle (10°) 1,089cc V4 whose inclined overhead-valves were set in hemispherical combustion chambers and operated by twin camshafts in the block. The unitary chassis construction adopted on the pre-war Aprilia was, naturally enough, continued, as was Lancia’s traditional sliding-pillar independent front suspension. Notchback-style Series II cars came with a lengthened wheelbase and more power (up from 38 to 43bhp) while the final (third) series boasted further styling revisions and 48bhp. Complementing the standard Appia saloon were a series of limited edition models produced on a separate chassis and bodied by leading carrozzeria, Pininfarina being responsible for the Coupé, Vignale the Cabriolet and Zagato the GT Coupé. Engine power was increased to 59bhp for these more sporting Appias which, when equipped with Zagato’s lightweight, aerodynamic coachwork, could touch 100mph. Dating from 1962, this Series II left-hand drive GTE Coupé is typical of Zagato's work of the period. It was delivered new to a Tullio Sergio in Ancona (they went on to run Ferrari 275s in the Mille Miglia). Little is known of the cars early years, but it was sold in 1987 to Fabbri Gabriele in Riccione and then put on display in the Hotel Promenade & Residence Museum just south of Rimini. There are two photos in the history file (and on our website) of the Lancia competing on the Monte Carlo - Sestriere Rally – these are unfortunately undated. Our vendor bought the little Lancia with his father some 30 years ago and it was used until around 2010 before joining their impressive private Collection and has not turned a wheel since. There is without doubt more to find out about this rare car and doing the research on a winter’s evening with a bowl of fresh pasta and a glass of Barolo could be rewarding. The car is supplied with its original L’Ispettorato log book, hotel brochure showing the car in the hotel museum and various receipts and items of correspondence. The car has never been UK-registered. With restored examples having achieved over £100k, this project example with competition provenance is sure to excite. 1962 Lancia Appia GTE - Coachwork by Zagato Iconic Auctioneers Ltd If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. The car was in the last owner for 12 years and in previous ownership for 21 years and was always looked after and professionally maintained. The on-board folder with all original documents such as the owner’s manual, the complete and neatly kept service booklet and exhaust maintenance document and various operating instructions are also present, as are all keys, many documents, invoices and a complete owner history. This beautiful Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Coupé is matching numbers, has a Porsche birth certificate and is in top-maintained and very original collector’s condition, veteran-tested. The Porsche 911, also known as the nine-eleven for short, is Porsche’s best-known sports car and is regarded as the epitome of the brand. The 911 is a typical sports car. It is powered by a 6-cylinder boxer engine in the rear. With the rear-engine design, the 911 continues a classic design principle that can already be found in earlier Porsche developments. Body variants of the Porsche 911 are the Coupé, the Cabriolet and the Targa. In the past, the Porsche 911 was successfully used as a racing car in the Sports Car World Championship and the German Racing Championship. Today, racing cars based on the 911 are mainly used in one-make cups such as the Carrera Cup. The engine with the 3.2-liter six-cylinder boxer engine gives the 911 a strong pull at low revs and spoils with a unique sound and liveliness from 4,000 rpm. 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera Lutziger Classic Cars AG If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1971 Porsche 911 S

In 1971 only 788 targa with the 2.2 litre 6-cylinder boxer engine in the 180 hp variant left the works in Stuttgart Zuffenhausen. This example was completed towards the end of 1970 and 1st registered on the 7th May 1971. Several years ago, the 911 was restored in Holland where it received a repaint in “Blue metallic” 324. The interior in black vinyl was restored at the same time and is in good condition. The engine, the 5-speed gearbox and the rest of the mechanical bits were always carefully maintained and overhauled as necessary. Some receipts are available and will be handed over with the car. In 2021, the Porsche was taken over by the vendor, imported into Germany and integrated into his collection. Due to lack of time the stunning targa was driven sparingly, and therefore the owner has now decided to pass it on to a new enthusiast. This 911 S is in good to very good overall condition and will certainly delight a new owner for years to come. The car has German documents, is on H-plates and Swiss custom duties have so far not been paid. For a Swiss buyer the car will be properly imported and MOT'd after the sale. 1971 Porsche 911 S Oldtimer Galerie International GmbH If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1974-de-tomaso-pantera

The De Tomaso Pantera offers an extremely attractive blend of Italian styling and American V8 power, and is the most famous model to be built by the mercurial Modena-based company. The beautiful example being offered for sale here was built early in the Pantera’s long production run. Its first owner was Wayne Corcorian of Escanaba, Michigan. Corcorian bought it in June 1974, had Ziebart rustproofing applied, kept it garaged and only ever used it on dry summer days. The Pantera then passed in 1978 to its second owner, who lived in San Jose. They kept the car for the next 13 years, after which it was acquired by another California-based enthusiast. In 1994, Don Gerig bought the car and embarked on a full restoration, a process that was eventually completed by the next owner, Paul Davey, who was a friend of Gerig’s. In 2003, the restored Pantera was bought by someone who knew Gerig and Davey and who lived in the same town in California. The Ford engine was rebuilt during his ownership, after which the car was exported to Denmark – from where it was sold to the UK in late 2014. The Pantera’s new owner was an experienced restorer who had previously rebuilt a Citroën SM, and even though he judged the De Tomaso to be basically sound and entirely usable, he soon set about making it even better. He converted it to the better-looking European-spec bumpers, rebuilt the suspension, steering and braking systems, repaired the wiring where needed, and treated the Pantera to a bare-metal respray after carrying out the necessary metalwork repairs. Used only sparingly since the work was completed, this early Pantera now offers supercar-baiting performance at a fraction of the price of an equivalent Ferrari, Lamborghini or Maserati – just as it did when it first rolled out of the Modena factory and set sail for the USA. 1974 De Tomaso Pantera The Classic Motor Hub If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1981 Lancia Beta 2000 HPE Pininfarina

In the spring of 1975, the fourth body variant was a three-door station wagon coupé called HPE (for High Performance Estate). With the sedan's unchanged floor pan, the HPE is identical to the Beta Coupé up to the B-pillar. The Beta HPE was based on a Pininfarina design. Lancia took over a body concept that had already been developed in 1967 by Tom Karen and Ogle Design for the British Reliant Scimitar. The vehicle was built with a 1.6, 1.8 and 2.0 liter engine, the latter being offered as a carburettor, fuel injection and in the compressor version Volumex. The passenger compartment was spacious, comfortable (including in the rear) and suitable for long journeys, as the HPE had good road holding and above-average performance. The dashboard contains nine analog instruments (large speedometer and tachometer, smaller fuel gauge, coolant thermometer, voltmeter, oil pressure gauge, thermometer and level indicator, and a clock in the center console). Even the oil level is displayed via a vacuum line on the dashboard. Another special feature was the automatic headlight height adjustment with pressure pistons, which are controlled by pneumatic sensors on the rear axle via a pressure hose. About our offer Very nice Beta HPE from the first series, which still had plenty of chrome*. Long before the established manufacturers introduced the Shooting Brake into their range, Lancia already had this wonderful car on offer, which - in our opinion - combines sporty design with high utility value. The car, which was first delivered in Switzerland, has an original and verifiable 96,000 km on the clock and is in very good condition, both visually and technically. Last but not least, the HPE survived thanks to its long-term, well-protected integration in a collection of a lover of this brand. 1981 Lancia Beta 2000 HPE Pininfarina DLS Automobile If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer.
