  • 1989 Mercedes-Benz 560SL

The Sport Leicht portfolio by Mercedes-Benz can trace its roots directly to the zenith of sportscars, the 300 SL. The Gullwing entered production in 1954 and, with the Roadster that followed, the 300 SL platform set the mould for the following generations of SL cars. The Paul Bracq-designed “Pagoda” roofline signified the second-generation W113 platform, while the SL was reinvented again in 1971. The C107 was introduced in coupé form while the R107 was a two-seat convertible featuring a removable hardtop. Mercedes-Benz devised multiple models under the C107 and R107 umbrella, all wearing similar body styles with names set by engine displacement. The European market welcomed the 2.8-litre 280 SL and SLC as the entry level models, while options for the rest of the world were offered on a greater scale. The 560 SL topped the range, powered by a 5.6-litre V-8 engine, and built between 1986 to 1989 model years for the Australian, Japanese and US markets. The 560 SL offered here was delivered new to Florida in October 1989, where it stayed for two years until it was acquired by its next owner in Baldwin, Long Island, New York. The car left the Sindelfingen factory finished in Black over a Palomino Leather interior, the colour configuration it retains today, and was specified with automatic climate control with Thermo King air conditioning, a Becker cassette player, and a steering wheel-fitted airbag. Exported from the United States in 2009, the car is believed to have since received a replacement odometer showing in km/h. 1989 Mercedes-Benz 560SL RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1975 Aston Martin V8 Series III

The Aston Martin V8 was Aston Martin’s successor to the DB6 and the result of their pursuit to create a larger and more contemporary car. Built from 1969 to 1989, it underwent five design changes, dubbed Series 1-5, with each example being handbuilt and requiring 1,200 man-hours each to complete. The Series 3, built from 1973 to 1978 with a one-year hiatus in 1975, saw a return to Weber carburetors from the Bosch fuel injection system used in previous models. The hood was taller to accommodate the quad twin-choke (two-barrel) Weber carbs, which helped it produce a swift 310 hp and a 6.1 second 0-60 mph time with an automatic transmission or 5.7 with a manual. Emissions regulations for the 1976 model year dropped hp to 288, which brought about the introduction of a more powerful “Stage 1” engine in 1977 that helped the horsepower figures back up to 305 hp thanks to the use of new camshafts and an exhaust system. Only 967 examples of the Aston Martin V8 Series 3 were produced. This particular example, Chassis # V811379LCA, is one such Series III equipped with a 5.3 liter V8 and backed by a rare ZF five-speed manual transmission. It began its life in November of 1974 when it sold new in Illinois at Newport Pagnell Works to a Mr. Searle. It was originally finished in Cornish Gold (a very light metallic gold with a slightly green hue) over a black leather interior. It came equipped with 15″ alloy wheels, fog lights, air conditioning, power windows, and a Blaupunkt Seattle cassette radio. This Aston was lovingly driven by the first owner until 1981, when it was sold to its second owner, a Mr. John Miller, who later moved to Pennsylvania. The second owner, a member of the Aston Martin Owners Club, transferred ownership to his son in 1994 who continued to own and meticulously maintain the car until 2020, when he sold it via a dealership to its current owner. This Aston was thus part of the same family from 1981 to 2020, during which time it was given the light green metallic paint job it wears today. Some of the notable services performed shortly before its sale include a new rack and pinion, brake fluid reservoir, ballast resistor, and a power steering unit. In 2021, it was purchased by the third owner, who gave it a refresh in 2022 that included new spark plugs, wires, a fuel filter, an oil temperature sending unit, a clutch slave cylinder, tires, seat padding, defroster vent seals, door pin switches, ball joint gaiters, a refinishing of the valve covers, replacement door frame weatherstripping, a number of new gaskets, dent repairs in the floorboards, and touch up paint work in the engine bay. The factory 15″ GKN alloy wheels were wrapped in 255/60 Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires that same year, with a matching spare wheel and tire mounted under the trunk floor. This astonishingly rare Aston Martin currently presents with just over 35,504 miles, which we believe to be the actual mileage (the title corroborates this by stating “Actual Mileage”). Approximately 3,000 miles have been added under current ownership. It is an extremely low-mile and numbers-matching example of one of the most distinctive Aston Martin designs that has been kept beautifully near-original across its three owners. The healthy V8 also puts out ample horsepower and torque that will allow you to use all of the 200 mph speedometer and 7k-rpm redline tachometer. Such a rare find will be a blessing in any collection, whether it be a seasoned Aston Martin collection, a British motoring enthusiast, or any combination of the two. The new owner will receive the original owner’s manual, tool kit, a CB radio, copies of the original build sheet and bill of sale, and 67 pages of service records ranging from 1981 to 2020. EXTERIOR Body And Paint The body of this example is very tidy, with great shut gaps, and is straight down the sides. We estimate the paint to be over 25 years old, but it still possesses an excellent shine with good depth and minimal blemishes. The paint is consistent all the way around the car. There are a number of minor blemishes that can be found upon closer inspection, which is to be expected based on the age of the paint and vehicle. Namely, peppering on the front nose area, some minor bubbling on the passenger and driver-side A-pillar bottoms, two larger chips on the quarter panel right above the driver's side taillight, and a faint three-inch scratch on the passenger rear quarter. Photos of these blemishes can be found in the gallery. In pulling up the carpet inside the car, there is some surface oxidation that has developed over the years, likely from moisture being trapped. It is only surface deep and could be cleaned up if the next owner so chooses. Overall, the paint and body are in excellent driver quality condition. Glass And Trim The glass throughout appears to be all original, with factory Triplex insignias on every piece, including the windshield. As expected, the windshield does have some stone peppering. The rear window has a few very minor faint scratches, but the rest of the windows on the passenger and driver's side are clean with no major scratches or chips. The headlights are correct Cibie units, and the Lucas fog lamps are original, as are the taillights with nice patina and no cracks. The rubber trim is all there, but some pieces are a bit dry and cracked, such as the trim around the rear quarter windows. The chrome trim is in excellent condition, with minor scratches and light pitting. We believe the chrome is all original and remarkably clean. Wheels The wheels have certainly been redone at some point and look extremely nice. Upon close inspection on one knee, one can see some light scratches, minor delamination, and one more noticeable area of curb rash on the driver's side rear wheel. All four tires are Cooper Cobra GT Radials that were installed in 2022 and have plenty of tread life. Notable Flaws Overall this Aston Martin V8 presents in excellent driver quality condition and as such has some imperfections that come along with it. The paint remains in great condition but has some imperfections. Some of the rubber trim shows its age in the form of cracking and dryness, and there is some minor surface oxidation beginning to form on the metal in the front footwells. INTERIOR Seats And Surfaces The interior exudes originality from the finely distributed patina on the seats to the smell of old Connolly leather, we believe the interior is all original, even the carpets. The top of the dash is excellent, as is the rear parcel shelf. The rear seats show a similar patina and the gauges are clean and clear, with only light pitting around the chrome surrounds. The pedals, steering wheel, and driver’s seat bolster all indicate wear consistent with the mileage displayed on the odometer. The carpeting is original and very nice though the driver’s side mat is torn where the driver would rest their right heel. The headliner is excellent as well. The sun visors are original but are puffy. Functionality And Accessories All the major components seem to work, such as windows, lights, blower motor, and turn signals, but we did not try every single interior mechanism. The gauges read correctly, with the exception of the gas gauge, which appears to be slightly off. ENGINE BAY AND TRUNK Engine Bay The engine bay is very tidy and correct, as expected from a well care for and serviced example. There are no obvious issues or blatantly incorrect pieces. It is highly original in the engine bay. Trunk Area The trunk area is very nice, tidy, and original. The interior trunk light works as well. Underside The underside is highly original and very nice compared to other examples on the market. Factory undercoating is present, the original exhaust is tidy save for some surface rusting, and the suspension components, although dirty, do appear to have been serviced over the years. On the various areas of the underside where undercoating has chipped off, one can see the factory red-oxide primer underneath. Very neat. We could not find any areas of previous rust repair. MECHANICALS Engine The big British V8 engine starts with ease and settles in a melodic idle as the temperature of the engine begins to climb. Out on the road, it makes fantastic power with smooth acceleration showing no stumbles or misses. It keeps up easily with modern traffic, sounds fantastic, and is truly a joy to drive. Transmission The transmission shifts smoothly and holds power well. The clutch takeup feels great, with nice feedback. Brakes And Suspension The brakes on the car feel appropriate to the era. They do not provide modern levels of stopping power, but they bring the car to a smooth and controlled stop with no binding or pulling. The pedal feel is spot on. The suspension feels compliant and solid. It is most certainly tailored a bit more towards the comfort side of the ride, as when you enter turns, you feel the softness of it. However, it provides great road hold and feedback with no odd noises or behaviors. Tires The tires are a newer set of Cooper Cobra Radial G/T put on the car in 2022. They have solid side walls, good color, and plenty of tread depth left to them. DRIVING EXPERIENCE The Aston Martin V8 was certainly spot-on for the brand in the time period. With its muscular looks and powerful v8 engine, it blended in perfectly with the automotive landscape in the 1970s. Its spacious but well-appointed cabin, lends itself beautifully to its Grand Touring nature and the addition of the ZF 5-Speed transmission provides an extra level of enjoyment and engagement when the roads become twisty. Aston Martin, as a company, are experts at creating timeless vehicles, and the V8 certainly falls into this category too. It is extremely useable in modern life, and its fantastic looks and low production numbers ensure its collectibility moving into the future. 1975 Aston Martin V8 Series III LBI Limited If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. This 7k redline engine is not only correct and powerful, it allows for enjoyable use while preserving the matching number original Maserati engine included with the car. Always professionally prepared to exacting standards, this historically accurate and documented 200Si is truly an extraordinary Maserati of visionary construction and timeless beauty. Today this Maserati 200Si presents in excellent condition. The stunning aluminum Fantuzzi coachwork is captivating due to the impossibly low profile, undulating fender lines, and vivid red finish. Though the restoration was performed some years ago, various aspects have been freshened under current ownership along with mechanical servicing regularly performed to meet the rigors of historic event participation. The uninterrupted body lines are accented by delicate hood louvers, distinctive side vents, covered headlights, and a long, tapering head fairing. The wide grille, side vents, and side exit exposed exhaust delivers the ultimate in performance race cars from this era. The tightly cut wheel openings and dramatic performance stance are perfectly suited to the peaked fender crowns arching over the main central body. A set of silver finished 16” Borrani wire wheels with dual ear knock offs wear Dunlop Racing 5.50 16 tires. The hood and trunk panels have excellent fit, while the hinged doors open and close with ease. The removable hood, head fairing, and trunk lid are easily removed and allow for ready access to major mechanical elements. The clear plexiglass windshield encircles the forward and side portions of the cockpit mounted to a painted alloy cowl base. The lighting and lenses, while minimal, are consistent with the integrity of the entire presentation. Entry to the cockpit is made easier due to the hinged doors offered in the Si model. Once inside, seating position and steering wheel reach is very comfortable even for those with longer legs. The gearbox is favorably positioned, and foot pedal position is comfortable without a great deal of offset often found in cars of this period. The handsome, softly aged wood rim steering wheel, purposeful gauges, sparse interior treatment, and exposed construction make for a wonderful vintage presentation. A modern Sabelt lap belt with quick release buckle, modern Halon fire suppression system (filled June 2024), and removable roll bar, are added safety features which discretely enhance the enjoyment of this car particularly for those who will continue ongoing participation in vintage racing events. Under the trunk lid a beautifully polished riveted alloy construction fuel tank (lined with an internal fuel cell/bladder), exposed suspension, and easily accessible Optima battery make for smooth services and trackside mechanical inspections. Underneath the removable hood, the spectacular Maserati derived engine delivers a remarkably accurate representation of the original numbers matching engine which has been removed and retained for posterity. The first impression is immediately dramatic and captivating, highlighted by twin-cam covers, twin dual-throat Weber carburetors, twin distributors, and fantastic alloy castings. The engine itself is a visual delight which delights to an entirely new level when fired off, warmed up, and revved on a snappy throttle. The engine compartment and engine features have settled consistently with the exterior restoration creating a wonderfully comfortable appearance. Raw alloy castings, black finish cam covers, proper tubular exhaust, and 45DCO3 carburetors, have all been prepared with attention to detail. The underside of the car is clean and correct including the Gilco frame, suspension, and beautiful castings further reflective of the mechanical integrity of the entire car. Beautifully prepared and historically impressive, this Maserati 200Si comes with the original stamped 2425 Maserati engine, a Maserati Certificate of Origin, reference information supporting the history of these cars, copies of period articles on these cars, FIA papers, and numerous spare parts including a spare set of wheels and tires, a spare seat, a removable roll bar with Sabelt shoulder belts, a spare gearbox, spare differential, spare driveshaft, and numerous spare internal engine parts. One of just 20 Maserati 200Si models constructed, this documented matching numbers example combines undisputed racing lineage, premier professional preparation, and excellent visual presentation. Surprisingly easy to drive and comfortable on the open road, this beautiful Maserati is ready for enjoyable participation in premier vintage events such as the Mille Miglia, Le Mans Classic, Goodwood, Colorado Grand, or can be restored for exhibit at worldwide concours shows. • 1989 Lamborghini Countach 2

Could Lamborghini have known, when it pulled the covers off the Countach LP500 prototype at the 1971 Geneva Motor Show, that it was unveiling a legend? Certainly, all the right elements were there: The follow-up to the revolutionary Lamborghini Miura packed a screaming V-12, rear-mid-mounted for optimal balance; the low-slung chassis wore radical wedge bodywork penned by the great Marcello Gandini, complete with groundbreaking scissor doors. But there has always been something more to the Countach—something that made it far greater than the sum of its parts. This was a car that would inspire multiple generations of budding enthusiasts throughout its impressive production life. It is no less captivating, and inspiring, today. The Countach 25th Anniversary Edition, named in commemoration of the founding of the Lamborghini marque, was the car’s final and most evolved iteration. It is fitting that this model, the culmination of the legendary Countach lineage, bore the impression of Horacio Pagani. The modern-day hypercar maestro was, at the time, working for Lamborghini; his contributions to the 25th Anniversary Edition include a striking restyling of the car, which incorporated many of the aerodynamics-enhancing features he developed for the pioneering, composite-bodied Countach Evolution concept. In total, 657 25th Anniversary Edition Countachs were produced—an extreme, exclusive exclamation point at the end of a legendary model’s bull run. IMMORTALIZED ON THE SILVER SCREEN Based on the memoir of the same name, the 2013 Martin Scorsese film The Wolf of Wall Street tells the real-life story of the meteoric rise—and precipitous fall—of stockbroker-turned- fraudster Jordan Belfort. Outrageous and darkly humorous in equal measure, the film is perfectly cast: Leonardo DiCaprio stars as Belfort, alongside Margot Robbie, Jonah Hill, and Matthew McConaughey. The automotive casting, too, is on point, with a parade of late-1980s and early-1990s sports and luxury cars for the keen-eyed enthusiast to spot. But even the most casual observer could not miss the film’s automotive star: Belfort’s Bianco Polo over Bianco Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary Edition. In an unforgettable scene toward the end of the film, an enraged and drug-addled Belfort drags himself into the Lamborghini and attempts to tear off into the night…only to crash repeatedly, badly damaging the car during his ill-fated trip home. It is fascinating to note that Jordan Belfort later claimed, via Twitter, that the car he had crashed “was actually a Mercedes in real life,” rather than the Lamborghini depicted in the movie. Yet no one who has watched The Wolf of Wall Street can deny that the Countach was the ideal choice for the scene. It is the perfect automotive complement to DiCaprio’s portrayal of Belfort—a bold, brash, risk-taker, often to his own detriment—and an example of how sometimes, a cinematic reinterpretation can ring truer than a strict portrayal of historical fact. Two 25th Anniversary Edition Countachs were used in the production of The Wolf of Wall Street. At least one other Countach, an earlier 5000 QV model with clear visual differences from the 25th Anniversary Edition cars, was also sourced, and may have been used to record engine noise for the film’s audio track. Shockingly, Scorsese insisted on the use of a genuine Countach in the infamous crash scene, reportedly because the filmmaker felt that a prop stand-in would not sustain authentic-looking damage. The car presently offered is the other film-used 25th Anniversary Edition car, which was not crashed on-screen. CLOSEUP ON A STAR COUNTACH One of just 12 25th Anniversary Edition Countach examples delivered to the United States finished in Bianco Polo over Bianco, this car has spent much of its life on the East Coast, moving between New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Florida in its early years. As was common practice at the time with many owners of US-delivery Countachs, the larger, US-specification front bumper was at some point swapped for a smaller, European-specification unit; further, the imposing rear wing was removed. At the time of the production of The Wolf of Wall Street, this car was owned by a Lamborghini connoisseur in Maryland. Exercised consistently, yet moderately, through its life, the Lamborghini was actually piloted by its owner from the Baltimore area to New York for filming! A 10 March 2014 letter on file from Picture Cars East—the New York firm that supplied the Lamborghini to Red Granite Pictures for use in the filming of The Wolf of Wall Street via its private owner—confirms that this was one of two such cars used for production of the movie. The letter also confirms that, of the two Countachs used in filming, this car is the non-crashed example. A close viewing of the completed film, as well as examination of behind-the-scenes photos taken on set, reveals notable differences between the two 25th Anniversary Edition Countachs used in production. In addition to the front bumper (the car offered here still had its European-specification front bumper fitted during filming, while the other car retained its larger US-specification unit) and lack of a rear wing, this car was also fitted with a distinctive black-and-white steering wheel. This steering wheel is clearly visible in a scene where DiCaprio arrives at the Belfort home and exits the car, confirming that it was used in some close-up shots. The presently offered car was also used in driving sequences, and a nighttime driving shot shows the smaller, European-spec front bumper that was fitted to this car at the time of filming. Interestingly, the unmissable rear wing was temporarily attached to this chassis for continuity purposes; only studied Lamborghini experts would have noticed the differing front bumpers in the final cut. Later acquired by the consignor from its longtime enthusiast owner, the Countach was subsequently re-fitted with its United States-specification front bumper, and its large rear wing was re-installed. This returned the car to its factory-correct, as-originally-delivered cosmetic appearance as seen today—and it also brought it into visual alignment with its companion Countach 25th Anniversary Edition, which was used in The Wolf of Wall Street’s crash scene. Few cars pack the awe-inspiring presence of the Lamborghini Countach; its shocking, sculptural form and soul-stirring performance truly make it a machine for the ages. Thanks to its pivotal appearance in one of the most unforgettable movies of the modern era, this 25th Anniversary Edition car boasts provenance unsurpassed by its peers—making it arguably one of the most significant Countach examples in existence. Put simply, this Wolf of Wall Street Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary Edition represents a unique opportunity to acquire an undeniable cultural icon: Lamborghini’s most famous Raging Bull, elevated to epic heights and immortalized in the popular consciousness by its role on the silver screen. 1989 Lamborghini Countach RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1957 Alfa Romeo 1900CSS Touring

When Alfa Romeo launched the 1900 series in 1950, the unique design and sporty package rapidly transformed this fast-moving company into a world leader with new demands for their cars. Having spent many years constructing hand-built cars, the expanding market called for a transition to more volume production methods. Paired with different gear ratios and “Alfin” self-adjusting rear brakes, these CSS (also referred to as Tipo 2 or Series II) cars evolved into formidable performers. Alfa Romeo achieved wins in the Targa Florio, the Stella Alpina and the Coupe des Alpes, proudly promoting “The Family Car That Wins Races”. Many of the finest Italian coachbuilders bodied the 1900 in a range of stunning configurations, further cementing the 1900 as one of the leading platforms among European cars of the 1950’s. As part of their decades-long partnership with Touring Coachworks, Alfa Romeo employed their patented Superleggera (super lightweight) construction using a rigid steel sub-structure enveloped by a light aluminum skin to form the stunning three-window coupe design. The light and airy upper canopy surrounded passengers in a sporty GT package, offering comfort and performance, with a stylish and fashionable interior. According to the Alfa Romeo Automobilismo Storico – Centro Ducumentatione certificate accompanying this car and signed by expert Marco Fazio, this matching numbers example was completed March 28, 1957, and sold July 9, 1958, to Societa per il Commercio dei Prodotti Alfa Romeo, Lugano Switzerland. The certificate also notes blue as the original color when delivered new as well as the engine numbered AR1900C*10482* which remains in the car today. Retained under Swiss ownership for more than 40 years, this Alfa Romeo was subsequently purchased by the next owner who embarked on the restoration shown today. At the time of purchase, the car was in very original condition, retaining the original engine, a rare 5-speed gearbox, the original twin 40 PII Solex carburetors, original bumpers, factory seats, and a very straight alloy body. The three-year restoration spanning 2018-2021, has been documented with numerous photos showing all removed parts as well as the removal of the entire alloy body (including the roof) from the Superleggera steel frame and body structure, stripping both metal and alloy body panels to bare finishes, and hand finishing the body shell for reinstallation. This process was of course labor intensive but important to address dissimilar metal electrolysis that often plagues cars with this unique lightweight construction. During this time, the steel substructure was finished and coated for reassembly while the interior was fully reupholstered in correct red and gray materials. The original matching numbers engine was removed, fully disassembled, rebuilt and refinished to original specifications. The rare 5-speed gearbox was also rebuilt as well as suspension, brakes, and electrical, with particular care to installation of correct original items including period correct Carello headlight lenses, plating, and refinishing for all bright work, beautifully restored gauges, and a rebuilt and very rare flat Nardi wood rim steering wheel. Upon completion, the car was represented by Fantasy Junction and sold in 2022 to the now consigning owner. The current owner used the car sparingly, electing to further sort the mechanical details with Alfa specialists in Florida. Work included a new wiper motor and wiper shaft mechanism and service for the gearbox output shaft and yoke. In April 2023, the engine and gearbox were removed, a new head gasket and new timing chain housing gasket were installed, the rear cover gasket and crankshaft rear seal were replaced, a new cork oil pan gasket installed, and the timing was reset along with dwell angle on the distributor. For the gearbox, a fifth gear secondary shaft was replaced, a new throwout bearing was installed, and the gearbox was reassembled and tested. Today this Alfa Romeo presents in excellent overall condition. The paint is glossy and smooth showing a few minor finish imperfections in the otherwise satisfying exterior finish which is suitable for enthusiasts who enjoy participating in touring events and local concours. A raised dimple on the right side of the trunk lid is evident, due to previous improper operator closure at some time in the past. The chrome and brightwork are in excellent condition with very good fit to the alloy body. The front grilles are in excellent condition, mounted with protective black gaskets against the body surface. The hard-to-find trim around the windshield shows a few imperfections, but generally is in good condition. The doors, hood, and trunk open and shut firmly with very nice panel fit overall. The Sekurit branded windshield is in very good condition and the door glass, both of which were recently replaced, are in excellent condition, though both sides show minor variation in fit to the upper trim line, when raised and snugged to the new weatherstripping. The lighting and lenses, including the glass Carello branded headlight lenses, are in excellent condition as are the Touring badges. Proper stamping marks are noted on the headlight trims and the small amber color taillights are not crazed or cracked. The car wears painted silver wire wheels with chrome plated dual ear knockoffs with front four-wheel triple-shoe cast alloy finned drum brakes. The interior is well done with attention to detail throughout and quality finishes. Presented in contrasting red with light grey cloth inserts, this color combination nicely offsets the deep blue exterior originally delivered when new. The overall interior has been handsomely composed since the restoration was completed and well cared for with only minor evidence of use and no significant wear as often found in typical areas. The dashboard and accompanying instruments are wonderfully laid out displaying fabulous Italian graphic design, color, and beautiful restoration, fronted by a restored and rare flat Nardi steering wheel. Overall, the interior is a handsome representation of the original Alfa Romeo design and excellence found in these beautiful coachbuilt road cars. The engine compartment has been thoughtfully prepared with correct factory finishes including a correctly finished cast alloy air intake plenum prepared with textured black and raised Alfa Romeo script, correct air filter canister, and matching cam covers finished in textured black. The clear, single strike AR1900C*10482* engine number stamping is consistent with the Fazzio letter declaring the original factory installed unit when new. The various accessories under the hood, including the correct original Solex carburetors, are quite nice overall, showing only minor signs of use since the restoration was completed, further benefiting from considerable sorting performed in April 2023. In all, the engine and engine compartment are visually balanced with the overall cosmetic condition and consistent with other aspects of the detailed restoration. The undercarriage shows no signs of structural compromise once again displaying condition and finishes indicating a body off restoration, including new leather rear axle retaining straps, correctly painted finishes, correct aluminum castings and magnesium oil case, finned aluminum drum brakes, fresh hardware, and proper fittings. On the road, this 1900 delivers a satisfying driving experience, further aided by sorting and adjustments prepared under the direction of the current owner. The engine starts easily and makes excellent power moving through the 5-speed gearbox. Suspension and general driving manners are impressive including effective brakes and a smooth operating clutch. Unlike many cars of this vintage, the driver and passenger sit comfortably, can engage in conversation, and access personal items, which can be conveniently stowed in the rear seating area. For vintage touring enjoyment, it is hard to beat a 1900 CSS for the combination of captivating interior design, elegant exterior coachwork, and twin-cam performance. This Alfa Romeo is accompanied by a digital file containing numerous photographs documenting the restoration and copies of recent engine and gearbox service invoices. This is a great opportunity to acquire a recently restored, matching numbers, Touring bodied Alfa Romeo with sound mechanical presentation and enjoyable visual presence. Distinguished by the 1957 model year, this Alfa Romeo is eligible for entry to prestigious events worldwide, often excluding 1958 and later model cars. The combination of elegance and performance, coupled with the contrasting red and grey interior makes this 1900 CSS a great event or show car. For those who admire handmade Italian coachwork, spacious interior accommodation, state of the art engineering, and exciting driving, this Alfa Romeo 1900 CSS will surely deliver on the promises of rewarding vintage GT ownership. 1957 Alfa Romeo 1900CSS Touring Fantasy Junction If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. "A gentleman's express that'll make hair grow on your eyeballs!" - Jeremy Clarkson For those who appreciate true British beauty with brute force, they soon come across Aston Martin. Which model was the embodiment of that is the DBS V8. With its stately stance, clean lines and unmistakable nod to American muscle cars, this beauty is both graceful and uncompromisingly powerful. This left-hand drive, manual transmission DBS V8 was originally exported to Denmark and later became part of a static collection. In 2010, the car underwent an extensive restoration at the renowned ROOS Engineering Ltd. in Switzerland, investing more than €54,000 in body and mechanical work. Since then, mileage has added just 24 kilometers, with a total of 13,653 km. The dark blue exterior with a purple tint, combined with a matching blue interior, offers a refined look. Under the hood awaits the 5.3-liter V8 engine designed by Tadek Marek - capable of launching this 1,727 kg masterpiece from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds. Although the car has not been driven recently, its aesthetic appeal is undeniable, and this rarity yearns to add miles again. • 1956 Alfa Romeo 1900 Super Bicolore

"Every time I see an Alfa Romeo pass by, I raise my hat." – Henry Ford The 1950s were turbulent times for Alfa Romeo. To survive, they had to expand their model range, leading to the birth of the Alfa Romeo 1900. A true pioneer: the first Alfa with a unibody design where the body and chassis formed a single structure. It was a revolutionary step, supported by the modernization of the Portello factory, which was transformed for industrial-scale production. In terms of looks, the 1900 was a class act: its flowing lines and iconic triple Alfa grille gave it that unmistakable Italian flair. While the 1900 was produced in multiple body styles, the true top-tier model was reserved for deep-pocketed customers. For them, there was the exclusive Bicolore edition: a limited edition featuring a unique two-tone paint scheme and custom options. Talk about luxury... Now, the Cool Classic Club has sourced a stunning example, finished in the elegant colors Celeste Avio. 'Celeste' means "heavenly" (as the blue clearly suggests), and 'Avio' references aviation. This particular model is a rare find: not only does it have matching numbers, but it was also delivered in Modena and is Mille Miglia eligible. This bella macchina has even participated twice in the legendary rally! Ready for another go? Non c’è problema! Since 2019, this example has undergone a complete overhaul: the engine, brakes, and gearbox have been thoroughly revised, an electric fan added for improved cooling, and brand-new Borrani wheels fitted. These, if you ask us, only add to its charm. • 1953 Jaguar XK 120 Fixed Head Coupe

Perhaps no sports car of the immediate postwar period so handily combined form and function as the Jaguar XK 120, which this beautifully presented, late-production example ably demonstrates. According to a Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust trace certificate, chassis number 680611 was built to the uprated Special Equipment specifications, which featured higher-lift camshafts, a lightened flywheel, stiffer rear springs, wire wheels, and dual exhaust pipes. Finished in Black paint over a Red interior, the XK was completed in January 1953, and 11 days later the car was dispatched for shipping to Max Hoffman’s legendary distributorship in New York City. Purchased by an unknown American enthusiast, the Jaguar reportedly remained in the care of its first owner until 1970. The XK 120 was then acquired by Neil Leatherwood of Ashville, Ohio, and his family went on to keep the car for 29 years, accounting for just two long-term owners over 46 years. During this time the coupe accrued relatively little mileage while being mechanically maintained as needed—including a complete engine rebuild—and stored in a climate-controlled garage. The car was also cosmetically refinished in the current charming color combination of white paint over a beige leather interior. After passing to a New York-based collector in April 1999, the Jaguar was acquired in May 2002 by the late Pennsylvania-based collector Dennis Nash, who worked in the automotive sector for many years, and who was also a passionate enthusiast of British sports cars. Dennis and his wife Ann Marie enjoyed touring in their small stable of English thoroughbreds, which included two Bentleys, a Morgan, an MG, and the featured XK 120. As demonstrated by a stack of invoices on file, Mr. Nash regularly maintained the Jaguar, personally tending to it as needed and commissioning a sympathetic restoration by Ragtops & Roadsters of Perkasie, Pennsylvania in 2006. The Nash family drove and presented the coupe at smaller East Coast events and tours, including the Concours d’Elegance of the Eastern United States. The Jaguar has remained in storage since Mr. Nash’s passing in July 2021, and it is now offered by his estate, capping a remarkable 22-year period of fastidious ownership. Retaining its numbers-matching engine, this XK remains fetching in its opulent livery of white over beige. It is furthermore desirably configured as a more powerful Special Equipment variant, offering the ultimate mechanical specification of Coventry’s celebrated sports car legend. 1953 Jaguar XK 120 Fixed Head Coupe RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1973 Ferrari 365 GTS/4 Daytona

The origin of the Ferrari marque began with open-top sports cars, powered by the company’s legendary V-12 engine positioned in the front—a trademark configuration that disappeared from Ferrari’s model range after the 365 GTS/4 Daytona Spider. With 26 years of continual development from the 125 to the 365, the Daytona Spider is regarded by many tifosi as one of the finest cars to ever leave Maranello’s factory gates. The Daytona Spider was mechanically identical to the more conventional 365 GTB/4, which itself shared much of its drivetrain with the legendary 275 GTB/4. Underneath the incredible body designed by Leonardo Fioravanti lay a tubular steel chassis in which was housed a monstrous 4.4-litre quad-cam V-12; keeping to Ferrari’s competition roots, the 352-horsepower mill was lubricated with a dry-sump system. In order to keep an ideal weight balance, a transaxle transmitted power to the rear wheels. According to its Ferrari Classiche “Red Book”, this Daytona Spider, chassis number 16689, was delivered during August 1973. As noted by marque expert Marcel Massini, just 121 Daytona Spiders were produced by the factory, making it a rare model; this example is the 82nd made. Specified in the wonderful colour combination of Nocciola Metallizzato over Pelle Beige, this Ferrari would have been an astonishing sight on the streets of Ohio in 1973. Its first owner, Robert Lindner of Cincinnati, clearly had good taste, trading in a coupé adorned in identical colours. Ferrari didn’t produce a true replacement for the Daytona Spider, and its spiritual successor—the 550 Barchetta—wouldn’t arrive until 2000. Clearly enamoured, Lindner kept his Daytona Spider until 1991, by which time it had covered nearly 41,000 miles. At this time, it was imported into Germany. In the early 1990s, the Ferrari passed through the hands of two German dealers, one of whom commissioned a full restoration; during this process the odometer was reset to zero. In 1994, the car was purchased by a well-known collector, Dr. Wolf Zweifler, who enjoyed this Daytona Spider at many Ferrari events in the years that followed. After 17 years of ownership, Zweifler sold the car to the consigning owner. Wishing to return this Daytona Spider to its original colours, the owner commissioned marque expert and factory supplier, Carrozzeria Zanasi, to carry out a cosmetic restoration during 2013 and 2014—invoices and photos detailing the work are on file. Once this Ferrari was returned to its spectacular original specification of Nocciola Metallizzato over Pelle Beige, it was submitted to Ferrari Classiche and subsequently awarded Red Book certification in 2016, with the factory confirming that it retains its matching-numbers engine. Finished in one of the most wonderful colours offered by Ferrari, this Daytona Spider offers its next owner the opportunity to fully enjoy the sonorous roar of one of Ferrari’s greatest ever V-12s, all while participating in concours and Ferrari events all around the world. 1973 Ferrari 365 GTS/4 Daytona RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. Howard Shoemaker worked for Porsche USA and Playboy, among others, in the 1960s. His Porsche cartoons were much appreciated in Stuttgart. The booklet with Shoemaker cartoons that Porsche published for its customers in 1964 is a rare and sought-after item today (an original is included with the car). Cartoons by Howard Shoemaker were also published in various issues of the Porsche Christophorus magazine. Shoemaker covered a total of 55,000 miles in his 911 before he parked it in his garage in the early 1980s and only finally parted with the car in 2014, after almost 48 years of ownership. It found a new owner and enthusiast in the UK, who gave the coupé a complete restoration. About a year ago, this beautiful Porsche 911 Coupé was imported to Switzerland and is, fresh from a major service and MOT veteran, in excellent and well-maintained collector’s condition. It is matching numbers and color and very well documented via a copy of the Kardex with all the facts of the first delivery, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, the original US title and many other documents. The Porsche 911, also known as the nine-eleven for short, is the Stuttgart-based company’s best-known sports car and is regarded as the epitome of the brand. Body variants are the Coupé, the Cabriolet and the Targa. In the past, the Porsche 911 was successfully used as a racing car in the World Sports Car Championship and the German Racing Championship. The first 911 version built in series from September 1964 was the so-called original model presented at the IAA 1963 with a 130 hp 2-liter six-cylinder boxer engine. Even when stationary, this 911 is a homage to the original, the clarity of the mechanics and the art of omission. 1966 Porsche 911 Lutziger Classic Cars AG If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer.
