The M635 CSi was launched in 1983 and represented the flagship variant of the E24 Six Series that was first introduced in 1976, BMW’s new two door ‘shark nose’ coupe penned by automotive design supremo Paul Bracq to replace BMW’s previous E9 model The M635 CSi was the most highly tuned of all E24, extensively developed and refined by BMW Motorsport GmbH using their expertise gained in competition, the origins of its engine hail from the original Works 3.5 CSL twenty-four valve ‘M49’ unit Production of the M635 CSi began in 1983 and ended in 1989 with the final series of ‘Highline’ models and just 5855 examples were constructed over six years, of which just 524 were built in right hand drive and approximately 300 of those cars were delivered to the UK. The M635 CSi and sister M5 were fitted with the legendary M88/3 six cylinder engine, double overhead cam with a capacity of 3453cc and 24 valves, they produced 286 BHP at 6500 rpm and were the same as the M1 motor but with wet sump oiling, allowing outstanding performance that powered the big coupe to 158 MPH. Both handbuilt and considerably more expensive than the 635 CSi at £45,000, M635 were built in batches of four cars, both production lead time and cost were well in excess of the standard CSi model. The BMW Birth Certificate on file denotes our car was constructed on 12th October 1984 to UK RHD specification, finished in Sable Brown metallic coachwork with Pearl Beige Leather and Nutria interior. Further notes detail ‘BMW Individual special equipment with sunroof and AC’. One of the rarest colour options available, only two RHD M635 were ever finished in ‘Zobel Braun’ and this car was ordered and delivered to ‘BMW GB Ltd’ to promote the new M635 and was the first RHD example delivered to the UK One of six ‘pre-production’ UK specification RHD M635 CSi models, the first three chassis were used as test cars in Germany and believed destroyed after testing, hence our car is the oldest surviving RHD M635 CSi! Understood to have been used for official duties by BMW GB Ltd throughout that period serving as a BMW Press car/demonstrator, the M635 remained unregistered until 1st February 1986 and was kept by the concession for a further two years, acquired by its first private owner from Chalfont St Giles in June 1988. The M635 was recently shown at BMW event where a retired member of the ‘Barons Of Farnborough’ workshop team from the eighties immediately recognised the car due to its unique colour, recalling fond memories of maintaining the official GB Ltd fleet with this car being a firm favourite of the boys in the workshop! Between 1988 and 2011 passed through the hands of a number of owners between London, Cambridge and the Midlands and was subsequently sold by Lincoln based car dealer Chris Betts to an enthusiast in Yorkshire, with invoices on file for maintenance work with marque specialists JC Racing of Thirsk, Yorkshire during his ownership. The car would remain in the north for the next few years before its acquisition by a St Albans based enthusiast in 2023 with documented £11K maintenance between 2019-2024. In October 2025 the M635 was inspected by marque specialists BMR Performance who confirmed the car was an excellent, original low mileage and unmodified example displaying excellent structural integrity but in need of further recommissioning due to limited use in recent years, as such the following works were completed; Complete replacement of timing chains and guides, new viscous fan clutch, new thermostat, new clutch slave cylinder, replacement fuel pipes, new fuel tank, replacement brake pipes and new hoses. Attention to electricals included replacement fuel sender and new door mirror switch then a major ‘Inspection 2’ service, the fitment of original period correct 16’ Alpina wheels plus wheel alignment etc at cost of GBP 7000, completed between Jan/February 2026. The M635 was then sent to SM Trimming who reconditioned the interior and fitted a new Blaupunkt Bremen DAB radio with ten Morel speakers at a cost in excess of £4000. Undoubtedly one of the most original, historically important and elegantly specified RHD M635 CSi models extant, interested parties will note the lack of wheel arch extensions usually seen on M635, this car was never fitted with them due to its early production date This superb M635 CSi is supplied with comprehensive history file including official BMW Birth Certificate, copies of all previous V5C from new, service history and associated invoices, original M635 brochure, original 1984 British Motor Show Guide, two keys and various MoT certifcates 1984 BMW M635 CSi Dylan Miles Ltd If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. Fit for a King Like many classic drop-top sports cars of old, the Aston Martin V8 Volante was conceived to meet demand from the United States of America. Upon its introduction, this car proved so popular with Americans that, for many months, the only right-hand-drive V8 Volante was the prototype with which Aston launched the model in 1978. A positively charming blend of sporting luxury and old English grandeur, the V8 Volante was a car for those who wanted to whisper rather than shout, waft rather than surge and arrive at their destination relaxed and put together rather than tired and disheveled. Someone like the former Prince of Wales and current King of the United Kingdom Charles III, who famously owned a V8 Volante. We love the handsome coachwork with its discreet muscular flare, the sumptuous suppleness of the Connolly hide and the electronically operated folding canvas roof – a novelty back in the late 1970s. The more desirable Series 1 cars were fitted with three Weber carburettors rather than the later electronic fuel injection and can be easily identified by the muscle car-like hump in the bonnet. Just 134 right-hand-drive Weber carburettor V8 Volantes left Aston Martin’s Newport-Pagnell factory, of which this wonderful example is one. Chassis number 15383 A late-production Weber carburettor car, the right-hand-drive Aston Martin V8 Volante we’re offering has so many strings to its bow, most notably the fact it’s been in the same ownership since 1994. Finished in Suffolk Red over a Magnolia interior with contrasting Burgundy piping, chassis number 15383 was acquired new by a Glasgow-based holdings company on 2 May 1985 via the official Aston Martin dealer Stratton Motor Company. The third and current owner acquired the car from a dealer in Henley-on-Thames in November of 1994, when the mileage was noted as 21,440 miles. In the 32 years since then, this V8 Volante has covered just 10,000 miles and been regularly maintained regardless of cost. Undertaken by a mix of official Aston Martin dealers and respected marque specialists, this car’s maintenance exhaustive record, which totals tens of thousands of pounds, has been fastidiously documented in the accompanying bumper history file. In 2013, the owner spent an astonishing £35,000 with Aston Martin Works, which undertook a raft of works to keep the car in the finest possible visual and mechanical fettle. Works also subsequently fitted this Aston with an upgraded AP Racing braking system. As a result, not only does chassis number 15383 present in the most beautiful condition, but it also drives excellently. 1985 Aston Martin V8 Volante Girardo & Co. The Cool Classic Club is delighted to present this beautifully tamed yet undeniably fiery German thoroughbred: the Porsche 911 Targa 3.2. The iconic Targa roof owes its name to the legendary Targa Florio, one of motorsport’s most demanding and romantic events. A race through the unforgiving mountains of Sicily where victory was never guaranteed, and survival was often the greater achievement. Between 1955 and 1973, Porsche and Ferrari engaged in one of racing’s most celebrated rivalries, with Porsche claiming an astonishing eleven victories during that period. At the heart of this 911 lies Porsche’s revered 3.2-litre flat-six engine, delivering its power with the character that has defined the marque for generations. Combined with the car’s remarkable balance and communicative chassis, every corner becomes an invitation rather than a challenge. This particular example has enjoyed an exceptional life. Started her life in the US, it has recently undergone a comprehensive restoration by a respected Porsche specialist in Germany. The engine, G50 gearbox and braking system have all been fully rebuilt, while carefully selected upgrades include Bilstein dampers and a Dansk exhaust system. The underside presents better than new, and the restoration was completed in 2025. The result is a Targa that combines the timeless aesthetics of an air-cooled 911 with the confidence and reliability demanded by modern driving. For those seeking the perfect balance between classic Porsche character and contemporary usability, this is an opportunity not to be missed. Wondering what it feels like to unwrap a classic Porsche, fresh as the day it left Stuttgart? Make an appointment and discover it for yourself. 1988 Porsche 911 Cool Classic Club If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1996-aston-martin-v8-vantage-v550-02
Hand built in Newport Pagnell Back in the mid 1990s, your garden-variety Ford Fiesta spent just eight hours on the production line. By contrast, Aston Martin’s flagship V8 Vantage V550 took a small band of artisan craftsmen around 1,200 hours to build. That’s a staggering 50 days of work. The astonishing fact is indicative of the coach-built nature of these luxurious and unctuously powerful British Grand Tourers – before the Vanquish and the DB9 dragged Aston Martin into the 21st Century kicking and screaming. We’re not fibbing. In 1996, these cars’ chassis were welded on jigs. Panels were beaten with hammers. Engines were assembled by hand. And interiors were saddled using age-old skills. The V550 nomenclature indicated, as you might have guessed, 550bhp and nigh on 550lb ft – up from 350bhp and 370lb ft in the lesser V8 Coupé and Volante. The considerable increase was achieved primarily by the addition of two whining Eaton superchargers to the legendary Tadek Marek-designed V8. The most powerful road-going Aston Martin ever, as its maker proudly billed it, travelled from a standstill to 60mph in 4.6 seconds – as quick as a Ferrari F355, which is amazing considering it weighed around 600kg more. That heft could be attributed in part to what is among the most luxurious interiors we’ve ever sat in. It’s a melee of supple Connolly leather, glossy walnut veneer and deep Wilton carpet. It’s got the grandeur of a drawing room in a grand country manor. And to be honest, the scent, too. The key difference is that a drawing room in a grand country manor can’t travel at 186mph. Probably more out of necessity than choice, the AP brakes were the largest ever seen on a production car when the V8 Vantage V550 was introduced. Shall we address the way this car looks? In a rare occurrence, the Girardo & Co. office was unanimous in its verdict: stunning. The V8 Vantage V550 treads a miraculous line between steroidal brute and understated Grand Tourer. It’s imposing yet elegant, muscular yet somehow feminine. It’s a broad-shouldered English thug dressed in a sharp tailored suit. It’s identity crisis in the most glorious sense of the term. Just 239 V550s were painstakingly hand-built by Aston Martin. For stark comparison, Ferrari built some 3,100 units of its similarly valued GT flagship, the 550 Maranello. Chassis number 70137 The exquisite specification of the right-hand-drive V8 Vantage V550 we’re offering is most likely down to the fact that Aston Martin Lagonda intended to keep it as a factory-registered demonstrator. Timeless British Racing Green was the chosen exterior hue, complemented by sumptuous Tan Connolly leather inside. Contrasting all that beige were Fir Green carpets and Spruce Green piping. Our favourite aesthetic feature? The beautifully trimmed Tan Alcantara roof lining. If anything trumps the specification of this Aston Martin, it’s the provenance. In August of 1986, with the mileage noted as just 1,467 miles, Aston Martin delivered chassis number 70137 to its official dealership HWM Ltd. in Surrey. And in turn, HWM Ltd. sold the car to its first and only owner. In the three decades since then, said owner has covered just 11,461 miles and had it maintained by a combination of official Aston Martin dealers and reputable specialists. Most recently, in May of 2026, chassis number 70137 underwent a service with Aston Martin Reading. From a condition perspective, this Aston Martin V8 Vantage V550 presents very well, with only a few small issues to note on the exterior. There is a small scuff to the front-left of the nose, a tiny patch of flaking on the front grille, and the paint has faded behind the sealed headlight lenses. Inside, the condition is virtually flawless with common weak spots such as the seat bolsters showing almost no signs of wear. Satisfyingly, chassis number 70137 retains its original tool kit, owner’s handbook, certificate of ownership, warranty card and spare keys. It’s also accompanied by a generous history file, copies of its original Aston Martin build sheet and its Aston Martin Heritage Trust Vehicle Certificate. 1996 Aston Martin V8 Vantage V550 Girardo & Co. The Mercedes-Benz SLC was introduced at a time when the brand was firmly establishing its reputation for engineering excellence and understated luxury. Based on the SL, but stretched and subtly reinterpreted, it offered something more practical without losing the essential elegance of the original concept. The 350 SLC, powered by the 3.5-litre V8 with Bosch D-Jetronic fuel injection, delivers the smooth, unhurried performance that defined Mercedes-Benz in this era. In combination with the rare 4-speed manual gearbox, it becomes a far more engaging proposition, adding an additional layer of involvement to an otherwise serene grand tourer. This example, finished in Byzanz Gold Metallic with a light grey interior, captures the period perfectly. It is an elegant and uncommon specification, further enhanced by its restored condition. The body and paint present well, the interior has been renewed with care, and mechanically the car performs as it should, offering the reassuring solidity expected of a Mercedes-Benz of this generation. While documentation has been lost over time, the car is supplied with German registration and presents as a well-sorted, usable classic. More than anything, this is a 350 SLC that appeals through its combination of rarity, colour, and specification. A comfortable and distinctive coupé that embodies the charm of Mercedes-Benz in the 1970s—unfussy, solid, and quietly desirable. 1971 Mercedes-Benz 350 SLC Cool Classic Club If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. The Homologation Story To compete in FIA-sanctioned international rally racing, a manufacturer had to prove a minimum number of road-legal production cars existed — a process called homologation. For the 500 SLC, that threshold was 1,000 units. Mercedes-Benz complied, building purpose-specific cars that carried meaningful engineering upgrades over the standard SLC: an aluminum-block 5.0-liter V-8 saving over 200 lbs versus the iron-block predecessor, aluminum hood and deck lid for further weight reduction, an aluminum engine air-cleaner housing, and integrated front and rear spoilers calibrated to keep the car planted at its 142-mph top speed. The result was a homologation-spec road car that was genuinely lighter and faster than what came before — built to satisfy a rulebook, but also legitimately better for it. Of the 1,299 total 500 SLCs produced, just 483 were built in 1981 — the final and rarest model year. This car is one of them. The Car Imported in period by Trans Atlantic Motors as a gray-market example, this 500 SLC has spent its life in Texas, with accompanying records dating to 1986. Today, it presents in Red over cream parchment leather upholstery. The odometer shows 32,366 miles. Recovered from over a decade of static storage, the car was inspected and returned to running and driving condition in August 2023 — work included a new battery, full fluid and filter service, radiator cap, washer pump, steering coupling, tie rods, and alignment, representing over $5,000 invested. Follow-up May 2025 service: new hood insulation pad, oil and filter change, new Ansa muffler, A/C recharge, window switch replacement, and full detail. Note: a thorough inspection and additional mechanical service is recommended before regular use. This 1958 Porsche 356A is a Reutter-built cabriolet that was acquired by a prior owner as a rolling project in the early 2000s and sent to Emory Motorsports, where it was modified by the late Gary Emory for vintage racing with a 1,620cc flat-four and a Type 741/2 four-speed manual transaxle as well as a central fuel filler, a louvered engine lid, a roll bar, and four-wheel disc brakes. The car was then driven in CSRG and SOVREN events throughout the Pacific Northwest before being featured on BaT in September 2007. Following a partial repaint, Chassis 150601 appeared on the site again in March 2009, and it spent several years with a collector in Germany until the current owner’s acquisition in 2017. The engine is equipped with dual Solex carburetors and an Ahnendorp exhaust system, and other highlights include a removable hardtop, driving lights, a Sebring-style side mirror, space-saver wheels, houndstooth upholstery, an Abarth steering wheel, and a fire suppression system. This 356A Outlaw is now offered on dealer consignment as part of Mohr Imports’ Pacific Porsche Collection with a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, a SOVREN logbook, service records, and a Montana title. 1958 Porsche 356 A Mohr Imports, Inc. - 1988 Ferrari 328 GTS
Finished in the quintessential Ferrari color of Rosso Corsa, this 1988 Ferrari 328GTS is a stunning example that shows just 11,865 miles at the time of cataloging. The 328 was produced from 1986-1989, and the model run is split into two variations- the cars built from 1986 through the first half of 1988, and then what are known as the 1988.5-1989 cars. These later cars benefit from a significantly improved suspension to prepare the car for ABS which also necessitated a new convex 5-spoke wheel design, that is the easiest way to identify an early versus late car. As a GTS, this 328 has a vinyl wrapped targa top, which is complimented by a black vinyl wrapped spoiler that sits just behind the rear targa bar. The interior is finished in a deep, chocolate brown leather known as Testa di Moro, which is complimented with dark brown carpet throughout the interior. When you compare the interior of the 328 to more modern exotics, it is delightfully simple and allows you to focus on just one thing- enjoying the drive. When you slide into the driver’s seat, you are met with a perfect width leather wrapped Momo steering wheel, that frames a set of Veglia gauges that are essentially identical to those found in the 288 GTO. Next to your right leg, a pod houses a trio of dials that includes a clock, oil temperature and fuel level, and beneath that, a Blaupunkt Los Angeles tape deck looks perfect in the cabin. The center console houses the all important gated 5-speed manual shifter, and behind that, sits the climate control system, hazard lights and window switches. Mechanically, the 2.9-liter V8 from the 308 was replaced by a 3.2-liter unit with a host of updates throughout to give it more power, while also making it more livable and pleasant to drive. A greatly improved Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection system was paired with a Marelli electronic ignition system to help the 328 effortlessly pass American emissions, while also allowing the car to idle and drive far more smoothly than any 308. Between this new injection system, 4 valves per cylinder, and the greater displacement, power for the 328 increased to 270 hp which helped it run from 0-60 mph in just 5.5 seconds. The 328 is considered by many to be one of the most reliable classic Ferraris- the engine and gearbox are notoriously robust and thanks to the transverse layout, the engine does not need to come out of the car to replace timing belts like on the later 348 and F355 series cars. Regardless of wether you are a Ferrari collector or new to the brand, it doesn’t take much seat time to realize that the 328 GTS is a proper driver’s car. Built with enough technology to be dependable and easy to use, but with out any nannies to get in the way of driving enjoyment, the 328 is a car that will always put a smile on your face. Inspection Summary The paint on this car is in very good condition for its age, showing only minor stone chips at the rear of the car-most of which are covered with dabs of touch up paint. There is paint protection film applied to the front ⅓ of the car, and minor peeling is occurring around the left headlight bucket. There is an intermittent issue where the right side headlight will get stuck in the open or closed position and a minor tear in the driver’s door seal. As you would anticipate on a car of this age, there are a few leaks underneath from the front radiator, and one of the front steering boots is torn- as well as one of the inner axle boots by the transaxle. 1988 Ferrari 328 GTS ISSIMI, Inc If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. Later, the pretty targa was sold to the Zurich area, where in August 2019, it was acquired by the last owner with then 57’992 kilometres showing. As part of a major collection and exhibition the Ferrari was driven only very sparingly, resulting in a total mileage of now 58’700 kilometres only. This 328 GTS is in very good and cherished condition and will be sold with the last major service including cambelt change performed in July 2019 at 57’860 kilometres. - 1963-alfa-romeo-giulia-1600-sprint
When Alfa Romeo developed the Giulia in the early 1960s, one philosophy stood at the heart of the project: lightweight construction, a high-revving all-aluminium Twin Cam engine with dual overhead camshafts, and a perfectly balanced chassis. This was the recipe that turned the Giulia into a true motorsport icon, achieving years of success in rallies, touring car championships, and hill climbs. This Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint 1600 embodies that same philosophy. Originally delivered in Modena, Italy, this example comes with extensive documentation, including its historic identity card, confirming its originality, matching numbers, and documented history. The characterful 1600 Twin Cam engine delivers the distinctive, eager engine note that Alfa Romeo became famous for. Combined with the open exhaust system, it produces an exhilarating roar that will make any enthusiast and, quite honestly, many passers-by turn their heads. The direct steering, well-balanced chassis, roll cage, and slightly uprated suspension transform this Giulia into a wonderfully engaging, analogue driver’s car. Its sporting character is enhanced without compromising the pure driving experience. Every corner and every gear change serve as a reminder of why Alfa Romeo was so successful in motorsport during its golden era. This Giulia Sprint is perfectly suited for historic rallies, regularity events, touring drives, or simply for the enthusiast looking for pure driving pleasure. In our opinion, much of its appeal lies in the timeless Bertone design and its unmistakable sporting DNA. An Alfa Romeo that is not only beautiful to look at but, above all, built to be driven. We are confident that a smile after the test drive is guaranteed. 1963 Alfa Romeo Giulia 1600 Sprint Cool Classic Club If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. There are exceptional Escort Cosworth’s, and then there are cars such as this. Registered new in 1992, this remarkable Ford Escort RS Cosworth has had just one owner from new and has covered an astonishing 20,000 miles. Finished in the iconic combination of Diamond White with its original grey leather Recaro interior, it represents one of the finest surviving examples of Ford’s legendary homologation special. Presented in genuine concours condition throughout, this is an Escort Cosworth that has clearly been cherished from the day it left the supplying Ford dealership. Every panel, trim piece and interior surface reflects its exceptionally careful ownership, creating an experience that feels remarkably close to stepping into a Ford showroom in 1992. Perhaps most impressive is the extraordinary history file that accompanies the car, which contains the original owner’s manuals and service literature, together with the Ford Customer Service Record Assurance Certificate supplied on delivery. A fascinating collection of original tax discs charts the car’s life through the decades, while both factory immobilisers, the original locking wheel nut and numerous factory accessories remain with the vehicle. Even details that rarely survive have been preserved, including the original, unopened Ford screen wash bottle, still stored in the boot exactly as supplied when new—a wonderful illustration of just how carefully this Cosworth has been kept. Mechanically, this is one of the highly desirable early production Escort RS Cosworth’s, identifiable by its distinctive blue cam cover and the legendary Garrett T3 turbocharger. These early cars are revered by enthusiasts as the purest specification, offering immense tuning potential—many examples have been developed to produce well in excess of 400bhp. This car, however, has never followed that route. Instead, it remains exactly as Ford intended, retaining its original factory specification and delivering the authentic driving experience that made the Escort Cosworth one of the defining performance cars of the 1990s. Finding an Escort Cosworth is not difficult, but finding a one owner, 20,000 genuine miles example with this level of originality and such extraordinary preservation is exceptionally difficult, and almost impossible. This is quite simply a collector-grade example that would grace the finest Ford or performance car collection, while remaining every bit as exciting to drive as it was over thirty years ago. 1992 Ford Escort RS Cosworth The Classic Motor Hub If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer.
