One of only 12 right-hand drive GT5 Panteras built by the factory, this stunning blend of classic mid-eighties Italian exotica and American V8 motivation has been subject to a photo-documented, magazine-featured restoration over the years. Having established himself as a serious automobile manufacturer with the Mangusta coupé, Alejandro De Tomaso commissioned Lamborghini designer, Gianpaolo Dallara, to produce the chassis for his new mid-engined supercar, the Pantera. Dallara opted for unitary construction for the steel chassis/body, abandoning the Mangusta's backbone frame, and competition-specification double wishbone/coil-spring suspension all round. The Ford Motor Company was De Tomaso's partner at the time of the Pantera's introduction in 1971 and consequently the Pantera, like the Mangusta, relied on Ford V8 power. Mated to an all-synchro ZF five-speed transaxle, the 351ci (5.8-litre) Cleveland engine varied in output depending on the destination market, and in European trim offered around 330bhp enabling the Pantera to arrive at 60mph in a little over 5 seconds on its way to 165mph. Styled by Tom Tjaarda at Carrozzeria Ghia, the stunning coupé body was in fact built by Vignale, both companies being part of De Tomaso's empire in the early 1970s. Exceptionally long-lived for a supercar, the Pantera was still around in the 1990s having undergone a series of upgrades. The first major revision of the Pantera's body style occurred in 1980 with the introduction of the GT5 which was a direct spin-off from the racing program, backed but not paid for by de Tomaso. Introduced in 1980, these aggressive looking Panteras featured much revised 'ground-effect' bodywork including a deep front air dam with integral driving lights, rocker panel extensions, flared fibreglass wheel arches, a boot lid-mounted 'delta-wing' spoiler, greater interior comfort and better brakes. Beautifully presented in Rosso Fuoco (Fire Red) over a sumptuous original interior in ruched dark cream leather, this striking Pantera GT5 was acquired by our vendor, a notable private collector, in August 2017 with an indicated mileage of around 5,500 (reset at the point of restoration). He has used it lightly since then and the odometer currently reads just less than 6,500 miles. With the car are two USB sticks containing pictures of the car's restoration works, which took place between 2001 and 2009, as well as many bills and invoices. This restoration was also closely followed by the De Tomaso Drivers Club News which is a quarterly magazine with comprehensive pictures and articles covering all the work that was carried out, the many challenges, and how they overcame them. These magazine copies are in the history file accompanying the car. As a part of this process, the engine rebuild had been finished in 2008 and put on a dyno in 2009, where it gave an impressive 300bhp and 325 lbs/ft of torque. Additional invoices from this period detail other aspects of the restoration including a complete repaint in its original Rosso Fuoco, a dramatic shade that really suits the car. Further work was carried out in 2015 when the transaxle and gearbox were fully rebuilt. Whilst this fabulous Pantera would look at home on any Concours lawn, the GT5 is a serious performance machine that is still relevant today. During a magazine road test a few years ago, respected journalist, Richard Heseltine, described the GT5 thus "acceleration is brutal, even in top. It emits the sort of surround sound fanfare that you imagine will accompany Armageddon and the sustained shove is precisely that: a shove...The Pantera's chassis was good to begin with, which is to be expected of a Gian Paolo Dallara design, but the GT5's setup feels more honed than most...The car corners flatly with no loss of equilibrium and you can power through tight bends without the tail budging an inch. Its composure is rock solid." This is an excellent example of a highly collectable Italian supercar, being one of just 12 right-hand drive GT5 Panteras built by the factory, and we invite and encourage your viewing at our Race Retro sale. Very rare Lamborghini Islero Grand Tourer. There were only 125 first series and 100 Islero S built in 1968-1969!! This car is an original Belgian delivered car (Socaria) with matching numbers engine! Finished in the original color combination with completely original interior!! It was the replacement for the 400 GT and featured the Lamborghini V12 engine. The Islero was introduced at the 1968 Geneva Auto Show alongside the Lamborghini Espada. While both automobiles featured a 2+2 coupé body style, the Islero was intended to be a more visually conservative alternative to the then-radical Espada, in keeping with the traditional style of the earlier 400 GT. The car's namesake, Islero, was a Miura bull that killed matador Manuel Rodriguez. Carrozzeria Marazzi was chosen to construct the Islero's body. This firm was chosen as it was founded by Carlo Marazzi, a former employee of the now-bankrupt Carrozzeria Touring. Touring had previously produced bodies for the 350 GT and 400 GT. The firm was staffed by former Touring employees, along with Marazzi's sons Mario and Serafino. Ferruccio Lamborghini was rumored to be the true designer of the body, dictating his requirements to Marazzi. The design was essentially a rebody of the 400 GT, with its good outward visibility, roomier interior, and additional soundproofing improving driver and passenger comfort compared to previous models. In 1948, the very first prototype of the Porsche 356 came to life. Air-cooled, lightweight, and razor-sharp in its lines. No excess. No compromise. Just pure, timeless engineering. By 1955, the 356A arrived – a refined evolution, built on the same unmistakable Porsche DNA. And ours? A rare and exceptional example. Finished in the original and irresistibly elegant Graphite Metallic (5603) with red leather interior – a colour combination so unique, you’re unlikely to ever see it again. This is not a spec you choose from a catalogue. This is craftsmanship. Fully body-off restored in Italy, down to the finest detail. Everything aligns – from the trim to the stitching in the leather. Of course, it comes with Matching Numbers & Colors, and is Mille Miglia-eligible. For a more spirited drive, it is currently fitted with an upgraded 90 hp 356 engine – the perfect blend of authenticity and extra punch. Fully rebuilt in 2017. Prefer full originality? The original engine block is included. Since arriving in the Netherlands, this car has been further refined by true enthusiasts. Every bolt inspected, every mile a tribute to precision. This is not the kind of Porsche you see parked outside a café. This is a Porsche for the discerning few – those with taste, passion, and a deep appreciation for history. So, fasten your seatbelt. Turn the key. Listen. - 1956-ferrari-750-monza
Enzo Ferrari’s tireless pursuit of performance saw constant evolution and development of the mechanicals as production went on. Having experimented with a Tipo 555 ‘Super Squalo’ Formula 1 engine in a Series 1 Mondial Tipo 501 chassis, improvements were made to both chassis and engine. The resulting 750 Monza saw the Tipo 119 engine easily produce 260 bhp, which to put into perspective, was 20 bhp than the hottest 3-litre V12, 250 Mille Miglias of the previous year. Offering superb power and torque from just 2,500 rpm, the engine was an instant hit with the works drivers. Designed by Aurelio Lampredi, the 4-cylinder saved a considerable 90 kg over the V12, whilst delivering more power and low down torque. Unlike Colombo V12s of the time, the engine architecture resulted in almost instantaneous dynamic braking when off throttle. Skilled drivers could now approach corners in top gear, lifting off throttle without unsettling the car, and leveraging engine braking to negotiate corners at much greater pace. From Ferrari’s records, it is noted that this is the second Monza to be supplied to French racer Francois Picard. Having heavily crashed his preceding 750 Monza in May of 1955 after racing with several successes, Picard had ordered this car in replacement, waiting some 9 months to receive the car in February 1956. With its chassis more similar to that of the next by sequence 857 S and subsequent 860 and 290 MM, this Monza differs from its peers. It received the latest iteration of the chassis with oval tubes for greater rigidity and torsional stiffness. These modifications were coupled with a unique body that incorporated design cues that would not be seen again until the pontoon-fendered 250 Testa Rossas, ensuring it stands apart. This Monza received a prominent, indented belt line, aiding its identification in period photographs and resulting in a far greater competition history than noted in its 1989 Cavallino article. Picard ordered and raced the car in his national colour, the vibrant French Racing Blue, in which it would remain for its first 18 months. The 26th February 1956 would see the car make its debut at the Agadir GP, where Picard would place 3rd behind Maurice Trintignant and Harry Schell in the works’ Ferraris. The car would see a DNF at the next race in Dakar, but another 3rd place finish in 1000km of Paris the following month where Picard would share the drive with Trintignant. Picard’s finale race in the Monza would be the Rouen GP at the start of July 1956. A few weeks later he would compete at the 24 hours of Le Mans in his 500 TR. For the final race of the season however, the Swedish GP in December, the car would be piloted by Alfonso de Portago. After the race the car was sold directly to Tore Bjurström's Scuderia Ferrari Swezia. For 1957, a change in regulation saw the introduction of the new Appendix C. All cars racing in 1957 were required to have a full width windscreen, a passenger door, both seats to be of the same size and the cockpit be 1.2m wide. Over the winter of 1956, the car was sold to Tore Bjurström and his race team ‘Scuderia Swezia’ and these revisions carried out. Several drivers would race under the Scuderia Ferrari Swezia banner in 1957 and the first time the car would be seen was at the Helsinki GP in May at the hands of Eric Lundgren. Sporting a new centre stripe in yellow, the Monza leveraged the former French racing colour to make Sweden’s racing colours. Carl-Otto Bremer would race the car in the majority that year but shared his debut race with another Finn, Esko ‘Pinoaro’ (Keinänen), in the November Swedish GP. Thereafter he would race alone, his competition resulting in multiple podiums, and no doubt his successes contributing to his purchase of the car outright at the end of the season after a full engine rebuild at the factory. Bremer would repaint the Monza in silver with a blue nose band at the time of his purchase, with the livery remaining to this day. Evidence of the French racing blue and yellow central stripe remain and can be seen around the ignition switch on the dashboard. Bremer would race the car until 1961 after which point in passed through two further owners, Holger Laine and Pentti Groehn who competed in the car on a handful of occasions before it was placed into storage in a garage in Valkeakoski, Finland where it would remain for a quarter of a century. In 1988 the car was located by Kari and Jukka Makela who has spent considerable time exploring the rumour of a 750 Monza in a garage. Having denied knowledge of its existence for some time, he was converted by their persistence and knowledge, eventually allowing them to purchase the car. After some minor fettling and a fuel change, the Monza started up. Its discovery was documented by Cavallino magazine in 1989 and the coverage at the time noted just how original the car was. It would be ten years before the car was offered for sale at the Christies Pebble Beach sale; it went unsold by changed hands the following year to serial Ferrari collector Harry Leventis. The car was acquired by its current owner just a year later who has competed extensively in the car; in Europe, the USA and as far as Macao garnering multiple class wins and podium positions. 1956 Ferrari 750 Monza D.K. The notice and take down procedure is described here: https://www.speedholics.com/copyright Enzo Ferrari’s tireless pursuit of performance saw constant evolution and development of the mechanicals as production went on. - 1972-de-tomaso-pantera-group-4
Unveiled in January 1972, the De Tomaso Pantera Group 4 was borne out of customer request, with 14 examples produced. The doors, bonnet, and engine lid were aluminium, all windows were plexiglass, and a roll cage cocooned a pared-back interior. These measures saved 320 kilograms for a total weight of just 1,100 kilograms. The double-wishbone suspension was modified and adjustable Koni shock absorbers fitted. Meanwhile, large Girling brakes featuring vented discs helped slow the 470 horsepower produced by a modified Ford 351 Cleveland V-8, which inhaled through four Weber carburettors. Leaving the factory in the classic red-and-black Pantera paint scheme, chassis number 2858 was completed in April 1972 and sold new to Achilli Motors. Reportedly the second example produced, the car was changed by Achilli Motors to a vibrant blue. Run from 1973 to 1975 in the Italian Group 4 Championship, this Pantera debuted in the 1000 Kilometres of Monza and qualified for the 1973 Targa Florio. Retiring after 1975, chassis 2858 remained in storage with Achilli Motors until sold to the second owner, Marco "Spiffero" Curti, in late 1979. He sent the car back to De Tomaso to be rebuilt for the updated 1976 Group 4 specifications. Spiffero raced this Pantera from 1980 to 1983 before parting ways in 1998, with the vehicle subsequently passing through several European racers until being acquired by the current owner. Returning the car to its Achilli Motors livery, the Pantera was repainted light blue and the subject of a complete overhaul, utilising modern technology to optimise its performance and reliability. Entered in the 2022 Le Mans Classic, it finished 1st in its class and in the 2025 Tour Auto, it finished 2nd overall, demonstrating the exceptional qualities of this Pantera. The car is accompanied by a spare rebuilt engine, spare rebuilt gearbox, four wheels, and other parts. Boasting known ownership throughout, this Group 4 Pantera presents a wonderful opportunity for a collector looking to compete in historic racing events across the continent. 1972 De Tomaso Pantera Group 4 RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. Alfa Romeo replaced its popular 2000 range with the 2600 model series, which became the marque’s flagship sports car available in Berlina, Spider, or Sprint body styles. Named for its 2.6-litre engine, the 2600 cars were notably the last from the Italian manufacturer to use a straight-six engine with overhead camshafts. The Sprint version assumed a svelte coupé shape and was built by Bertone; it was rated by the factory for a top speed of 200 km/h from its triple-carburettor-fed engine with a 143-horsepower output. The example offered here is believed to have spent most of its life in Sweden, with its first documented owner residing in Stockholm and registering the car in 1965. The Alfa Romeo appears to have stayed in the country until 2018, when it was acquired by The Godehardt Collection and taken to Germany and registered the following year. The car is accompanied by a history file that lists much of the maintenance conducted in Swedish ownership and with its vendor, who commissioned €1,502-worth of repairs with Aartal Sportwagen in March 2022. This included the fitment of a new starter motor and other tasks. Now presented in a handsome shade of blue complemented by a blue leather interior, this stylish Alfa Romeo is sure to appeal to collectors. 1964 Alfa Romeo 2600 Sprint by Bertone RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. Among the 200 examples built, chassis 061 stands apart as one of the most decorated and hard-fought cars to emerge from Boreham’s hallowed workshops. Originally registered C200 JJN and completed in January 1986, #061 is a true ex-Works car, constructed as a left-hand-drive rally chassis by Ford Motorsport Boreham. For the 1986 season, Mike Taylor Developments Ltd. ran the car on behalf of Ford Holland and #061 competed wearing the traditional Ford blue-and-white works livery and a one-off scarlet-and-white Team Belga livery, reflecting its versatility and identity as a championship-winning machine. In the hands of Stig Andervang, #061 became instantly recognizable and synonymous with speed and precision. That season proved extraordinary. Competing across Europe in both the Dutch Open Rally Championship and the West Euro Cup, #061 delivered outright championship victories in both series with five 1st Place Overall finishes and two 2nd Place finishes during the course of the 1986 rally season - no RS200 covered more ground or achieved more results than #061. Beyond its remarkable competition record, the car’s mechanical heart remains formidable. Today, #061 is powered by a genuine Ford Motorsport EVO 2.1-liter BDT, an evolution engine delivering 760 bhp on low boost, paired with its original chassis plate and stamped number. It stands as one of the very few RS200s retaining direct works lineage, original identity, and period-correct specification, a combination that defines true provenance in rally history. From its incredible 1986 season providing two championship-winning campaigns, #061 is not merely a survivor of rallying’s most dangerous decade; it is one of its victors. It embodies the audacity of Ford’s Group B ambition and the enduring spirit of those who dared to tame it. 1986 Ford RS200 "C200JJN" The Cultivated Collector LLC If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1967-bmw-1600gt
This particular 1967 BMW 1600GT, Chassis #W001366 is reported to have been originally owned by a German diplomat working at the UN in NYC. He imported the car into the U.S. in the late sixties, before an accident to the right side of the car rendered it unusable. When the diplomat was transferred to Africa for his next assignment, he left the car in his landlord’s garage in lieu of final rent. The landlord later sold the car to a friend, a body shop owner, who fixed the accident damage and repainted it. It changed hands yet again when the body shop owner sold it to his friend, Mr. Alfonso Quijano, the owner of a Long Island trucking company. He used the car sparingly from 1990 to 2006, fearing he would never be able to get parts if anything happened to the car again. While there are no official records of the car’s activities prior to 1990, it is assumed to have been stored after the repairs were completed. Mr. Quijano sold the car to a Toronto-based collector so he could give the cash proceeds to his son as a wedding gift. The car then passed to a Dr. Chris Auty, who acquired the BMW in 2014 with just over 29,000 km (~18,019 mi) on the odometer, a reading confirmed by Mr. Quijano, though no records exist to support this. We believe this example to have had 6 owners in total. The current owner, an avid collector and active BMW Club member, acquired this 1600GT from Dr. Auty’s estate in April 2022. The period that warrants the most attention to help understand this car is the time of Dr. Auty’s purchase and subsequent restoration. At the time of purchase the car retained its original interior in good condition, with no visible rust, excellent original glass, trim, bumpers, and electrical system. It even wore four tires with a 1969 date code. The only deviation from factory spec was the replacement of the original Solex side-draft carburetors with a single Weber 34/38 downdraft carburetor. It was original overall and in mostly stock configuration, but ready for a refresh. Though one thing would lead to the other and in the end this car would see an open checkbook approach to building a spectacular and unique 1600GT. The BMW was shipped to Mario Langsten’s shop, VSR1, in Bow, NH, for a much-needed refresh that totaled over $40,000 for the initial phase of work completed. The fluids were changed, the brakes were reworked, the radiator was repaired, bushings were changed, and the body received work as needed to improve it but did not warrant a full strip and repaint. Rather some items were touched up and the car refinished as needed for consistency. Despite its originality, performance was lacking, especially at low RPMs. According to Dr. Auty, highway cruising at 70 mph meant a constant 4,000 RPM; the seats offered no headrests and little lateral support; the lack of cupholders was a problem; and the period-correct radio was another annoyance. Following those first few drives, the BMW was treated to several improvements to enhance its drivability while not detracting from its period-correctness. Thus a proper build was planned which started with a newly rebuilt 2.2L M10 engine, installed alongside a pair of rebuilt Italian Weber side-draft carburetors in place of the single Weber 34/38 carburetor, and the proper air intake canister with bridges and bellows. The transmission was swapped for a 245/5 5-speed O/D, the stock 264 cam was replaced with a spicier Schrick 292 cam, and a JB Racing lightweight flywheel was also installed. On the interior, the front seats were replaced with period-correct Monte Carlo bucket seats from GTS Classics, the dried-out carpets were swapped for better ones, the large factory steering wheel was replaced with a more motorsports-oriented 370 Momo Prototipo, a factory cup holder was modified to fit into the short center console, and in lieu of using the radio a bluetooth speaker was often placed between the front seats for music. Lastly, the radio antenna from the right front fender was removed, and the hole was filled and painted, along with a few minor dings and blemishes. After the refurbishment, the BMW was driven to the Larz Anderson Auto Museum in Boston, MA and to “The Vintage” in Asheville, North Carolina, where it won the People’s Choice award at both venues. It has also been displayed at “The Vintage” in Saratoga and, most recently, at Bavarian Autosports’ “Show and Shine,” where it was featured as a centerpiece exhibit on both occasions. Following the impressive, award-winning showings, Dr. Auty sought new ways to enhance the GT’s abilities. His research led to the discovery of the Alpina 1600GT, a one-off model modified by Alpina that reportedly increased the power of the original 1.6L engine to 140 hp. As it turns out, by adding the Weber side draft carburetors and the Schrick cam, Dr. Auty had already started recreating that car, though he didn’t know it in the beginning. He sourced an ultra rare set of original factory-chromed 6X14 Alpina 1407 wheels, a close-ratio Alpina steering box, original Alpina front brakes, original Alpina air intake bridges, a NOS Abarth exhaust system with a BMW 2002 Tii exhaust manifold, custom headers, a 3.64-ratio LSD, and factory-fresh front suspension components. The cherry on top of this German sundae was the addition of two 45 DCOE Webers, allowing the 2.2L M10 engine to breathe easier and get as much fuel as it needed for spirited motoring. This is a carefully built and properly sorted 1967 BMW 1600GT “Alpina Tribute”. The meticulous nature of its mechanical restoration/build and impressive performance-oriented modifications cannot be overstated. While it may not be the one-of-one Alpina 1600GT, it’s the closest one will get. With nearly $100,000 invested to bring it to its current state, it is likely one of the best performing examples of its kind on the market today, well known within club circles, and a very rare opportunity. Included in the sale are the original engine, two transmissions, original differential, original carburetors, restoration and service records , period advertising brochures, and club magazines featuring the car. 1967 BMW 1600GT LBI Limited If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1992-jaguar-xjrs
This Jaguar XJRS was delivered new in Germany in 1992. As such, it belongs to the final “facelift” series, benefiting from several significant improvements. The dashboard, now trimmed with wood, features classic, easy-to-read round dials. The car later made its way to France, where the current owner discovered it after a long search for such a rare model. A long-time Jaguar enthusiast, he had already fallen under the spell of the marque’s V12 engines through his E-Type V12 Convertible (carbureted) and his Daimler Double Six (fuel-injected), both of which he still owns. Within this lineage, the XJS—and especially the XJRS—occupies a special place. Built in only 390 examples, the XJRS was developed by Jaguar Sport, a joint venture equally owned by Jaguar and Tom Walkinshaw Racing. It is therefore not a mere aftermarket modification, but a top-tier model offered directly in the marque’s showrooms. Beyond a number of distinctive exterior upgrades—such as spoilers, side skirts, specific wheels, and subtle interior details—the essence of the XJRS lies in its increased engine displacement, enlarged from 5.3 to 6.0 litres through a longer stroke. Engines built to this specification are easily recognisable by their serial numbers beginning with “8W,” with “W” referring to Walkinshaw. Additional refinements were made to the suspension, steering rack, and especially the gearbox, whose kick-down response is noticeably more immediate. Compared with the Daimler Double Six, appreciated for its limousine-like character, the XJRS stands out as a powerful and responsive grand tourer, without sacrificing comfort. Imported into Belgium in 2017, the car had already benefited from extensive maintenance and improvements in France. To address a number of secondary issues and bring the vehicle fully up to the standard it deserved, it was entrusted to “L’Atelier du Mécano” in Brussels, a workshop specialised in this type of vehicle and, for instance, holder of the exclusive rights to the Lynx Eventer shooting brake conversions based on the XJS. Having joined a collection of eight cars, this XJRS then received regular maintenance, covering approximately 1,000 km per year for classic-car events and to keep the mechanical components in excellent condition. 1992 Jaguar XJRS AD Sportscars If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1970-lancia-fulvia-13s
According to the homologation number in the registration document, this Lancia Fulvia 1.3 S Coupé was delivered to Switzerland and first registered on 14 December 1970. The Fulvia is said to have spent much of its early life in Ticino before coming into its current ownership in 2018. Since then, the small coupé has been driven and maintained with great care and respect for its originality. In August 2025, with a shown mileage of 99’875 km, the engine underwent a complete overhaul. This was carried out by the owner, an experienced mechanic, himself. At the same time, the Fulvia was fitted with an electric fuel pump, which ensures more reliable starting and smoother operation overall. Visually and technically, the coupé is now in good and consistent overall condition, with probably just 101’000 km on the clock. The bodywork and interior are well maintained, the handling is light-footed and typical for a Fulvia, and the characterful V4 engine brings the charm of bygone sports car times back to the road. The last MOT was performed in March 2025, meaning this attractive Lancia can be registered immediately. 1970 Lancia Fulvia 1.3S Oldtimer Galerie International GmbH If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer.
