- 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT
Penned by Giorgetto Giugiaro at Bertone, the 105’s clean and distinctive design made it one of the most attractive small coupes of the 1960s and 70s and the earlier ‘Stepnose’ cars were the first of that body shape and seen as the most desirable. Of the ‘Stepnose’ shape the earliest pre ‘Veloce’ type are seen as the most sought after and this is one of those examples. Our car was produced in 1965 and delivered new in August to London and this is confirmed by the Alfa Romeo Centro Documentazione which accompanies the car. There are UK records confirming previous owners with records showing mileage in 1981 was a mere 26,833 miles. The current reading is at just 28,513. The car remained in the UK until 2004 when it when it was bought into Brisbane and was found to be in remarkably good and original condition. The current owner acquired the car in 2020 and commissioned an exacting and full restoration which has been recently finished with less than 1,000 kms use since. The current owner is offering it for sale due to lack of use and a wish to thin down his collection. This presents a great opportunity for the next owner to purchase the car at a fraction of the cost of the initial investment. Invoices which accompany the car total in excess of $90,000 which excludes the purchase price of the car itself. The quality of body is just perfect and was subject to a full strip and paint by one of the best in the business. Once the paint was removed the shell was found to be in incredibly good condition with very little metal requiring replacement, this reflecting the sheltered life the car has benefitted from. It was decided to repaint the car in the period correct ‘Medio Grigio Metallizato’ rather than its original Verde Muschio. This brighter colour looks absolutely stunning with the original interior colour of ‘Choio’. It suits the car very well and is very appealing to the eye. The paint is flawless, and the work to the body is documented and comes with the car. Turn the key and the engine fires up with a familiar Alfa Romeo growl. It has been rebuilt and running without fault. Out on the open road this car is superb and it’s easy to understand why its handling humbled many sports cars of its era (and for many years later). The gearbox has been disassembled, inspected and where necessary any parts replaced. As a result it is easy to use and everything performs as expected. Once inside, the cabin feels light and airy and a nice place to be. The dashboard is like new and is a real feature of the car. Everything works as it should with every guage completely restored. The seats still retain their original fabric except for 2 replacement panels. They are in excellent condition and the interior is a real feature of this car. The owner has had desirable ‘box weave’ carpets made and these look stunning adding a real quality finish. The boot has a replacement light grey rubber mat as fitted in period. Like much of this car it is as new. The headlining has been replaced and is the correct type. The wheels are the original and have been refurbished. All the brightwork has been polished at great expense and works beautifully with the metallic grey paint. The engine bay is pin sharp and presents as new. Even the correct stickers have been traced and used for items such as the radiator and brake booster. As you would expect the underside of the car presents is as clean and fresh as it is on top. Overall, this represents a spectacular first series ‘Stepnose’ with a huge amount of work done and significant investment made. This would be a perfect buy for someone considering restoring a car but wishing to avoid the wait or costs! A wonderfully attractive car and definitive classic Alfa Romeo. 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT Сlassic Сar Market If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1967 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT Veloce ‘Twin Spark Restomod’
Penned by Giorgetto Giugiaro at Bertone, the 105’s clean and distinctive design made it one of the most attractive small coupes of the 1960s and 70s and the earlier ‘Stepnose’ cars were the first of that body shape and seen as the most desirable. In recent years the trend largely initiated by Alfaholics has been to modify 105 series Alfa Romeo’s. This ‘Stepnose’ is an example of one of these types of ‘Restomod’ cars and heavily influenced by the Allfaholics cars. The quality of our car is truly exceptional in every respect. After 9 years of ownership the owner embarked on a meticulous build to take the car to one of the best we’ve ever seen. The level of quality in all areas of this car is without fault and a credit to the team involved. The car was completed in 2020 and has done only around 3000 kms since. Owing to a change in personal circumstances he now needs to let the car go to the next custodian. This presents a great opportunity for the next owner to purchase the car at a fraction of the cost of the initial investment. Invoices which accompany the car total in excess of $130,000 which excludes the purchase price of the car itself. The engine was replaced by a rebuilt 2-litre twin spark with fuel injection managed by the Omex ITB ECU system. The induction noise from this set-up is simply wonderous and as expected it just pulls and pulls and pulls. The body shell was stripped, and any compromised metal was replaced. The colour whilst not original Alfa Romeo is Pino Verde Metallic – it looks simply stunning and is inspired by the Ferrari colour used in period. It compliments the interior tan colour so well. The quality of the paint and its application is flawless and the best we’ve seen. As part of the panel work done to the shell, strengthening sections were applied to increase rigidity which translates to improved performance and road holding. As expected, numerous Alfaholics parts have been used throughout the car. Turn the key and the engine fires up with a familiar Alfa Romeo growl. Out on the open road this car is just superb and is without doubt one of the most memorable test drives we’ve had the pleasure of conducting. The brakes and handling are pin sharp and the induction noise from the throttle bodies is intoxicating. Above 4000 rpm the power really starts to take hold, and the car really gets moving. The feedback is superb and the whole sensory experience is as good as it gets. Braking is helped with the fitment of Brembo’s from a later Alfa Romeo 75 and a limited slip diff and hydraulic clutch is also fitted too. Having said this the way this car has been set-up is incredibly impressive. It is not harsh or uncomfortable in any way. The ride is compliant, and it is perfectly comfortable to drive around at normal speeds. If, however, you then choose to become a bit more ‘enthusiastic’ then its character reflects this and delivers in spades. The owner specified this requirement in the build, and it has been delivered perfectly. Of note is the fitment of an electric air conditioning unit which increases the level of comfort and the cars practical use. This type of unit removes the need for under bonnet ancillary items keeping the engine bay open. The installation is excellent, and its efficiency in operation puts many modern cars to shame. It is neatly fitted to the dash area and is very simple to use too. The gearbox has been inspected and is easy to use and everything performs as expected. Elsewhere inside, the cabin feels light and airy and a nice place to be. The dashboard was refurbished with a carbon fibre face and then a satin clearcoat applied. It is a lovely detail point and pleasing to the eye. Everything works as it should with every guage completely restored. The seats use the correct Alfa Romeo materials, and the interior is a real feature of this car. A new and correct type of headlining has been fitted and the driver is greeted by a beautiful Nardi steering wheel. USB connections are available and integrated microphone too. The boot has a replacement carpet, and the rear wheel well deleted to allow for the installation of the aircon unit. The wheels are GTA style replica’s and shod in Bridgestone tyres. The engine bay is a work of art and pin sharp and presents beautifully. The battery has been moved to the boot and is in a discreet area hidden from view. As you would expect the underside of the car presents is as clean and fresh as it is on top. Overall, this represents a spectacular performance enhanced ‘Stepnose’ with a huge amount of work done and significant investment made. The work was done by experts with these 105 Alfa Romeo’s and it shows. This would be a perfect buy for someone considering restoring an ‘Alfaholics’ like car but wishing to avoid the wait or costs! - 1964 Shelby 289 Cobra
By 1961, Carroll Shelby had established his reputation as a first-rank racing driver (having won LeMans outright in 1959 with co-pilot Roy Salvadori) and, ready to kick it up a notch, he set out to build his own racecar. Impressed by the combined agility and power of borrowed Cad-Allards, he set out to create the ultimate Anglo-American hybrid. AC Cars of Thames Ditton, England provided a nimble tubular frame and aluminum body from their Ace, highly reputed for its dexterity on the European circuit. Desirous of the visceral power of a Detroit V-8, Shelby persuaded Ford to furnish their short-stroke 260-cubic-inch engine to complete the perfect union. In 1962, a brilliant yellow Shelby Cobra was unveiled at the New York Motor Show. The prototype, chassis CSX 2000, weighed in at just 2,100 pounds and was campaigned across the United States, usually in a different color each weekend. In 1963, Shelby upped the ante with the Cobra Mk II, notably upgrading the original Cobra to rack-and-pinion steering and then with a high-output 289-cubic-inch V-8 capable of 271 horsepower. The new powerplant made the 289 Cobra capable of rocketing from 0-60 mph in under 6 seconds on its way to a 130-mph top speed. The superb power-to-weight ratio enabled the newcomer to record numerous, impressive victories on the international sportscar circuit while dominating SCCA racing, cementing Carrol Shelby’s place in the pantheon of American automotive luminaries. The Shelby 289 Cobra presented here was billed to Shelby American from AC Cars on 20 December 1963 and dispatched to Los Angeles 2 January 1964 aboard the SS Dongedyk. After receiving its engine and chassis upgrades from Shelby, CSX 2274 was invoiced to Noble Motor Company of Danville, Illinois on 20 March 1964. Factory-finished in white over black trim, the Cobra was equipped with the Class “A” accessory group including white-sidewall tires and no luggage rack, an outside rearview mirror, radio antenna, anti-freeze, plus the rare twin four-barrel carburetor option for a finished price of $5,943.25. The Shelby American Automobile Club Leaf Spring Cobra Registry reports that following CSX 2274’s arrival in Illinois, it was sold to its first owner, Clint Sandusky, Jr. in June of 1964. The car is then known to have been accepted on trade by Bill Watkins Ford of Scottsdale, Arizona at some point in 1970. In October 1972 James Wagner of Dayton, Ohio purchased the car, described at the time as “near concours condition… always garage-kept and stored winters.” CSX 2274 would grace the cover of the first Cobra World Registry in 1974 under Wagner’s ownership. Wagner added five-spoke American wheels and a hood scoop before selling the car in late 1975. The Cobra then passed through a series of caretakers and was repainted in its current, classic livery of blue with white stripes at a point in the 1980s. In the late 1990s, CSX 2274 landed in the esteemed Paul Montrone Bayberry Collection, where it would remain for over two decades. Importantly, the registry does not record any accidents, incidents, or unsightly modifications. In 2022, the Cobra was entrusted to noted marque specialists Rare Drive of East Kingston, New Hampshire for an extensive freshening. Accompanying service invoices document a full rebuild of the braking and suspension systems, engine tuning, and an extensive diagnosis of the fuel and electrical systems to ensure this Cobra performs correctly. Inspection of its chassis plate, which is believed to be original to the car, confirms that the car retains its numbers-matching engine. Likewise, stampings on the door and trunk latches match the chassis number. Benefitting from exhaustive mechanical sorting and a period-correct appearance, CSX 2274 would make an ideal entry into any number of vintage tours and rallies. It is accompanied by side curtains, convertible top and tonneau cover, a grease gun, jack, and spare wire wheel. Shelby 289 Cobras are rightly prized by true enthusiasts for their remarkable performance and superior agility, resulting in a famously visceral driving experience. This example, with rare specification and a known history from new, presents an excellent opportunity to become one of the lucky few to experience proper Cobra ownershi 1964 Shelby 289 Cobra RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. The notice and take down procedure is described here: https://www.speedholics.com/copyright By 1961, Carroll Shelby had established his reputation as a first-rank racing driver (having won LeMans outright in 1959 with co-pilot Roy Salvadori) and, ready to kick it up a notch, he set out to build his own racecar. This example, with rare specification and a known history from new, presents an excellent opportunity to become one of the lucky few to experience proper Cobra ownershi Other Cars from RM Sotheby's 1967-Lamborghini-Miura-P400-by Bertone-01.webp 1967-Lamborghini-Miura-P400-by Bertone-02.webp 1967-Lamborghini-Miura-P400-by Bertone-20.webp 1967-Lamborghini-Miura-P400-by Bertone-01.webp 1/20 1967 Lamborghini Miura P400 by Bertone RM Sotheby's United States 1961-Ferrari-250-GT-Cabriolet-Series-II-by-Pininfarina-01.webp 1961-Ferrari-250-GT-Cabriolet-Series-II-by-Pininfarina-02.webp 1961-Ferrari-250-GT-Cabriolet-Series-II-by-Pininfarina-15.webp 1961-Ferrari-250-GT-Cabriolet-Series-II-by-Pininfarina-01.webp 1/15 1961 Ferrari 250 GT Cabriolet Series II by Pininfarina RM Sotheby's Monaco 1961-Ferrari-250-GT-Cabriolet-Series-II-by-Pininfarina-01.webp 1961-Ferrari-250-GT-Cabriolet-Series-II-by-Pininfarina-02.webp 1961-Ferrari-250-GT-Cabriolet-Series-II-by-Pininfarina-15.webp 1961-Ferrari-250-GT-Cabriolet-Series-II-by-Pininfarina-01.webp 1/15 1961 Ferrari 250 GT Cabriolet Series II by Pininfarina RM Sotheby's Monaco Last Featured Cars 1992-Subaru-SVX-01.webp 1992-Subaru-SVX-02.webp 1992-Subaru-SVX-10.webp 1992-Subaru-SVX-01.webp 1/10 1992 Subaru SVX DLS Automobile Germany 1990-Porsche-911-964-Carrera-RS-IROC-Evocation-01.webp 1990-Porsche-911-964-Carrera-RS-IROC-Evocation-02.webp 1990-Porsche-911-964-Carrera-RS-IROC-Evocation-15.webp 1990-Porsche-911-964-Carrera-RS-IROC-Evocation-01.webp 1/15 1990 Porsche 911 964 Carrera RS IROC Evocation Classic Connection United Kingdom 1964-Alfa-Rome-TZ-01.jpg 1964-Alfa-Rome-TZ-02.jpg 1964-Alfa-Rome-TZ-20.jpg 1964-Alfa-Rome-TZ-01.jpg 1/20 1964 Alfa Romeo TZ Oldtimer Galerie International GmbH Switzerland
- 1977 Chevrolet Corvette IMSA Supervette
With big-block power, visually striking bodywork and with the performance characteristics (and noise) of a rocket ship, IMSA Corvettes were some of the loudest, brash and powerful cars to ever run in the series. This Greenwood “Supervette”, driven by the now infamous John Paul Sr. (JLP Racing), is one of two tube-frame chassis ever built, and was one of the fastest cars in IMSA and a constant threat to its competition. Fully restored by Canepa to its 1978 IMSA specifications, this aluminum big-block tube-frame bruiser designed and built by the pre-Protofab team is the ultimate expression of an IMSA Corvette. In 1976, the IMSA sanctioning body changed the rules of road racing to allow full tube frame cars to compete in the premier North American Road Racing series. John Greenwood saw a major opportunity to design and build the next generation of racing Corvettes. Designer Bob Riley would engineer the first Greenwood tube frame Corvette, built and entered into competition for the first time in 1977. This Corvette, COV002, is the second and final chassis ever created, designed by Riley and built by the team that would become Protofab. These tube-frame monsters were no ordinarily-built race cars. The Riley-designed cages and chassis were quite innovative, calling for large and expensive 2” chrome-moly tubing, using extensive triangulation for extreme strength. Chrome-moly, though expensive, is both lighter and stronger than mild steel, which paid major dividends with the completed design. The result was extremely strong and rigid frames that were built to tank-like strength. With several seasons of racing a Porsche Carrera RSR now under John Paul Sr.’s belt, he was looking to upgrade in a major way and a mega horsepower tube-frame Corvette by Greenwood fit his bill. During the off season between 1977 and 1978, John Paul bought the second tube frame Corvette from the Protofab team after talking with John Greenwood about the potential of the Corvette package. Shortly afterwards, JLP Racing picked up the Riley-designed chassis in Michigan and assembled the car in Lawrenceville, Georgia were JLP Racing housed its home base. In an effort to reduce drag and increase top speed, the design of 002 was changed from the first car and was built with a narrower track and more aerodynamic bodywork, created by John Greenwood’s team. John Paul’s Corvette was prepped in his own shop and didn’t use the Greenwood powerplants. Instead, he used the big-block all aluminum engines from one of the most recognizable names from Can-Am racing and in power numbers, Don Nichols of Shadow Racing. These bullet-proof aluminum big blocks, left over from the Can-Am days, were built by Lee Muir and reportedly had over 800lb/ft of torque on Shadow’s engine dynos. Armed with Kinsler mechanical fuel injection, the all-aluminum V8 engine was a horsepower monster, extremely capable and often pushing above the 750+ figure. This extra bit of power along with an extremely capable chassis made this Corvette a constant threat to the other competition on the track. John Paul drove the car in the 1978 IMSA season, the first race being Road Atlanta, competing for overall wins in the premier GTX category. Ongoing research and development were constantly being performed due to the Porsche 935s dominance at the time and the target to beat. John Paul had his best finish with 2nd overall at Hallett. At the end of the 1978 season, JLP retired the Greenwood Supervette after a reasonably successful season of racing with 2 podiums and three top 5 finishes. John sold the car to Tico Almeida and Rene Rodriguez of T&D Racing, who would race the car together once in 1980. The car appeared in the 1981 Daytona 24 Hours with John Greenwood as the driver, but bad luck would strike and an engine failure ended its ’81 24 Hours. The 1982 IMSA season produced strong results for the John Greenwood/T&R Racing team. The car ran as #13 with the updated GTO body style the entire season in IMSA’s GTO class with impressive results. However, Porsche competition was fierce and the team retired the car at the end of the 1982 IMSA season. This Corvette would find its way through a few collectors before arriving at Canepa. Originally purchased for Canepa’s inventory, the decision was made to fully restore the car to its former and proper JLP Racing livery. With the decision to restore the Corvette to IMSA-spec of 1978, the concours-level restoration began on one of the most unique racing Corvettes to ever grace the IMSA series. The blue fiberglass bodywork was carefully removed and stored away while the majority of the mechanical work was underway. Each and every component was removed from the chrome-moly chassis, labeling and cataloging each item down to the last nut and bolt. Parts needing replating were sent out, pieces needing new paint were addressed and mechanical components needing replacing were fabricated to the highest degree. All mechanical systems were either rebuilt, refinished or replaced to be in better-than-new condition. The all-aluminum 500 cubic inch V8 engine was sent down to Ed Pink Racing Engines where it was completely rebuilt to eke out every horsepower from the former Can-Am era powerplant. Suspension and brake systems were disassembled, crack checked, x-rayed, refinished and brought back to the IMSA-spec of 1978. Unique to this Corvette are the magnesium brake calipers, borrowed from the Porsche 935 in period. New aluminum panels for the chassis were fabricated and powder coated black. With this concours-level restoration, nothing was left untouched. With the tube-frame chassis now stripped down of all its parts, the entire chassis and body work were then stripped of their remaining paint. Canepa thoroughly addressed any parts of the chassis and body work that needed attention before heading to the body shop. Countless hours were spent on sanding and prepping the chrome-moly tubing for its signature grey metallic paint, which is stunning to see in person. The long and swooping blue body work received the same thoughtful treatment with new bright baby blue paint. The hood and rear wing, the most standout features of the car, were painted bright JLP Racing yellow. Once the frame and body were finished, Canepa’s Motorsport division went to work on reassembling the IMSA Corvette. Over the course of many months, the baby blue IMSA racer began to take shape. With components slowly reinstalled, the car began to take on its original form and return to its former 1978 glory. With all components now assembled onto the car, the final fitment of the bodywork gives the Corvette it’s menacing stance, hiding the trick chassis underneath the sculpted fiberglass body. This 1977 Chevrolet Corvette, with its astoundingly-innovative chrome-moly chassis, Can-Am era powerplant, driven by JLP’s own John Paul to success in the 1978 season and fully restored to the exacting standards of Canepa, is now the must-have Corvette from the 70’s IMSA era. - 1992-porsche-911-restored-and-reimagined-by-singer
Singer Vehicle Design was founded in 2009 to both preserve and optimize the famed air-cooled Porsche 911. The 964 model Porsche became the perfect foundation for Singer's work possessing the ideal combination of classic air-cooled Porsche traits combined with a sophisticated footing in the vital areas of the vehicle's dynamics. Inspiration is taken from the classic road racing era of the Porsche during the 1970s and can be seen in almost every detail around the car including the 'Butzi' Porsche-inspired bodywork. This example was ordered new in June 2016 and completed in a classical, bespoke non metallic dark blue over Charcoal leather with Blue Haargarn carpets. The exterior sees wheels and bumperettes finished in RS Nickel and Nickel respectively. Mechanically, this example sees all the great options ticked: 4.0 litre engine 6-speed gearbox Singer Brembo Big Brake upgrade Bahama Yellow brake calipers Öhlins Sport Adjustable suspension Ceramic intake plenum Big cams No catalytic converters 4WD Inside, the car sees a traditional German Haargarn carpet, as would be seen traditionally in early 911s and 356s, air-conditioning and the upgraded woven leather. The sills, central tunnel and rear are all trimmed in leather and furthermore, the woven leather extends to the door cards. The drivers zone was ordered from Singer with an 'off-menu' 1964 early 911 gauge set. The car sees early 911 door handles, an omission of the '4.0' badge on the rear, instead optioned simply with 'Porsche' in raised gold. The bonnet sees the trademark exposed centre-fill fuel tank and this example further received a sunroof from new, one of just a handful of Classics to receive one. Returning to Singer UK in July 2025 for warranty work and a fresh service, this visit remedied nickel corrosion and saw the fitment of two new bucket seats. (The car was originally supplied with comfort seats and these accompany the car today). 1992 Porsche 911 Restored and Reimagined by Singer D.K. - 1994 Porsche 964 RS America
According to the Porsche owner’s manual, this RS America was delivered to the Porsche dealer in Greensboro, NC and sold to the first owner October 23, 1993. Both the underside hood sticker and Owner’s Manual options sticker include option codes for US catalytic converter and all four of the available options: C02 – Catalytic Converter 220 – Locking Differential (40%) 331 – AM/FM Cassette with Two Door Speakers 573 – Air Conditioning 650 – Sunroof The first owner retained the car for just over five years using the car sparingly to preserve the condition. In 2001, the car was sold to the second owner, a resident of North Carolina. At that time, just 850 miles were indicated on the 6-digit odometer. The car remained with the second owner for 18 years until it was sold in November 2019 with 9,200 miles via auction on the website BringaTrailer Under long-term second ownership this car was displayed at numerous regional Porsche Concours events, garnering several first-place awards including First in Class at the 2008 Porsche Parade, Charlotte, NC, as well as Best in Show at the 2004 Carolinas Region PorscheFest, the Keynote Award at the 2003 Euro Auto Festival presented by Bob Snodgrass, and has been displayed at the Porsche 70th Anniversary celebration at the Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta, Georgia, 2018. The car has been previously featured in the June 2013 issue of Hemmings Sports & Exotic Cars magazine and featured in the April 2020 Hemmings Motor News Buyer’s Guide while under current ownership. Regularly serviced and maintained by the first and second owners as indicated by the dealer service stamps, the car has been documented with consecutively accumulated mileage and regular services. An October 2023 service invoice includes the following: Oil and filter service New fuel filter New Kenwood door speakers installed retaining OEM speaker covers Original muffler installed Install new front bump stops and strut bellows Install new sway bar links Install bypass G-pipe Glove box door repair Bleed brakes, top fluid, and road test Condition and Features Today, this Porsche presents in excellent preservation-grade condition throughout all surfaces and finishes supported by documentation validating the miles, services, and ownership history. The Guards Red paint is glossy and smooth on all body panels. The front of the car and other front facing surfaces are protected with clear PPF covering entirely the front 40% of the car including the hood, front fenders, and leading edge of the mirrors. The paint has been digitally metered returning consistent single digit numbers indicative of original factory paint including subtracted measurement allowances for areas with PPF. The body is in excellent condition showing proper factory door, trunk, and hood gaps, nicely fitting front and rear bumpers, and crisp closure from all opening features. The rear spoiler is beautifully preserved showing near perfect black trim and excellent fit to the body. The glass retains correct Sekurit brand etchings on the side and vent glass and the Sigla branded windshield shows no notable signs of rock chips. The electric sunroof operation is smooth and even with correct closure and sealing. The factory 17” Porsche Cup wheels have excellent silver finish on all four wheels with black Porsche brake calipers mounted at all four corners. A set of 2021 and 2022 date coded Continental Extreme Contact Plus 255/40 ZR17 tires are mounted. The original interior shows essentially as new, featuring the correct and original factory RS combination black cloth and leatherette seats accented by red seat belts and matching red door pulls. The manually adjustable front seats move back and forward smoothly via manual lever adjustment. The condition throughout the interior is consistently fine including excellent RS door panels, near new condition rear seating area (unique to the 1994 models only), clean carpet showing almost no wear, and a smooth dashboard. The factory VDO gauges are in exceptionally fine condition with crisp lettering and numeric indication, vivid needle color, and clear glass covers. The optional AM/FM Stereo is in place and all climate controls function including cold AC. The factory steering wheel is in new condition as is the 5-speed gear shift lever housed in the center console. The overall fit and finish of the interior is clean and cohesive, having been properly preserved by just three Porsche enthusiasts/owners since new. The front storage compartment is also like new, featuring correct original carpet, the correct red rim spare wheel, an Optima battery, and all inner paint surfaces like new including wiring, factory decals, and correct hardware. The engine compartment is original and correct and the original engine and transmission are supported by correct numbers in factory locations. The finishes and coatings on all components are factory correct including the factory labels, air induction housing and emissions equipment, correctly finished fan, functional air conditioning, and original hardware. In addition to the matching engine number, the car features various VIN stampings and labels throughout the car which are authentic, matching, and in excellent visual condition. The underside of the car is also consistent and beautifully maintained, still showing much of the preserved original golden-hued Cosmoline coating often lost due to over-zealous detailers seeking perfection over originality. All factory components are present and in excellent condition including the original 5-speed manual gearbox, correct suspension, and properly updated bushings as needed. Under prior ownership a set of aftermarket lowering springs have been installed (original units included with the car). The black molded right and left bumper pan covers have been replaced with new units (originals included as spares). There is no evidence of structural compromise to the floor pan or any of the suspension mounting points and there are no accidents recorded on the current Carfax. The car starts instantly, and the clutch and gearbox work very well together shifting through all gears. Gear transitions are smooth as the engine exhibits legendary acceleration, progressive power, and excellent throttle response. The 3.6L air-cooled engine provides a wonderful induction roar and the performance is genuinely remarkable even by modern supercar standards. The suspension retains the desirably communicative air-cooled 911 character, while the brakes offer a firm pedal with smooth tracking. The chassis is composed, tight, and authentic, delivering the precise performance feel one might expect from a car of this distinction and documented provenance. This is an excellent opportunity to acquire a fully optioned, low mile, exceptionally well-preserved RS America. The dedication of just three owners to preserve and maintain this rare car allows for the next fortunate performance minded enthusiast to enjoy this Porsche with continued driving confidence and proud participation at any Porsche Concours. Included with this Porsche The car comes with a comprehensive set of factory books and leather case, factory air compressor, tool roll with tools, factory jack, a car cover (embroidered with RS America) and bag, a set of four original coil springs, a battery tender, a spare G-pipe, and the original set of front bumper chassis pan covers. 1994 Porsche 964 RS America Fantasy Junction If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 2001 Lamborghini Diablo VT
The Lamborghini Diablo's 11-year story starts on the 21st of January 1990 as the replacement for the Countach. Marcello Gandini's design language of a wedge shape and cabin-forward design carried over to the Diablo, but it was considerably refined and made less angular, both in the pursuit of aerodynamic performance and to increase its appeal to a wider audience. Power was sent rearward from a 5.7-litre, fuel-injected version of the evergreen Giotto Bizzarrini V12 engine, capable of 485 horsepower and a top speed just over 200 mph. This latest Lamborghini also introduced creature comforts such as power windows and mirrors—though the steering remained unassisted (for the early cars), and an air-conditioning system was optional (until 1997). At the 1993 Geneva Motor Show, Lamborghini unveiled the Diablo VT (standing for “Viscous Traction”) with the 5.7-litre V12, an all-wheel drive variant with cosmetic and mechanical improvements, which altogether greatly improved its high-speed tractability over the base model. Looking to increase driver and passenger comfort, upgrades included a lighter clutch, slightly bigger seats, a restyled dashboard, and an improved air-conditioning system. Intakes were added to the VT’s front fascia near the driving lights, to assist in cooling the new four-piston Brembo brakes. The driving lights themselves were also increased in number and output to aid visibility. Power steering now helped to make the car easier to control, along with an active suspension with electronically adjustable dampers. Fast forward to 1998, the Volkswagen Group was under rapid expansion, and as a result, Audi AG signed a deal to purchase Lamborghini on the 13th of June 1998 from some highly well-connected Indonesian and Malaysian investors who were the owners at the time. This decision was largely dictated by Audi realising that instead of continuing a costly project with the Italian marque, they would simply absorb them instead for the sum of an estimated $110 million. Promptly, the new Audi bosses instructed the current chief designer, Luc Donckerwolke, to drastically redesign the Diablo to more modern standards. The result was the very first Lamborghini to leave the Sant'Agata factory under Audi ownership and was in the form of a facelifted VT 6.0. The all-wheel-drive “Viscous Traction” platform was borrowed from the limited production GT model, as was the 6.0-litre V12, with mechanical and electronic revisions, the output was rated at 549 hp and a hugely impressive 457 foot-pounds of torque. The already quick Diablo was now capable of covering the 0 to 62 mph dash in just 3.8 seconds, and on to a storming top speed approaching 210 mph, only being outpaced by a handful of exotics that included the McLaren F1 and Jaguar XJ220. This example was built to USA specification and delivered new in Grigio Antares over a Nero Perseus leather interior with Grigio inserts; this VT is one of just 260 examples built and was available solely with the open-gated manual gearbox. Elegantly optioned, this example has been used sparingly from new and kept within large and prominent collections. Keen servicing from renowned marque specialists are thoroughly documented on the clean CARFAX report that accompanies the car. From 2006 the report details near on annual mileage statements with fewer than 500 miles covered each year. Fewer than 120 examples of the Diablo 6.0 were supplied new to the USA making this example a rare proposition. Today this Diablo presents with just 7,000 miles and is available to view at our showrooms outside London immediately, accompanied by books, tools, spare bulb holder, and work light. A major service will be carried out and new tyres fitted prior to delivery, co-ordination of USA delivery can be arranged by DK. 2001 Lamborghini Diablo VT D.K. - 1970 Maserati Mistral
Launched in November 1963 at the Salone Internazionale dell’Automobile di Torino, the Maserati Mistral was the last model produced by the Casa del Tridente to boast the company’s infamous twin-spark dual-overhead cam straight-six engine—as fitted to Maserati 250F Grand Prix cars. Later Mistrals received 4.0-litre powerplants that produced 265 horsepower. From 1963 to 1970, only 828 coupés were built. In 1968, Stanley W. Good Jr enteted a Mistral Coupé into the prestigious and legendary Pebble Beach Conours of Elegance and won "Best of Show", underpinning the attractive Maserati's top-class credentials. Rolling off the production line on 10 March 1969, this Mistral is a late example, and was supplied with the rare option of Campagnolo wheels, as seen on the Ghibli. Destined for France, it arrived at Thepenier dealership in Paris on 12 March 1969, with the appropriate yellow headlamps, while the car sported the beautiful colour scheme of Rame Metallizzato over a Nero leather interior. First registered in March 1970, Mr Moschetti took delivery of that car in 1983. It was registered with license number 9061 VZ 95, and in 1987, it was sold to Marie Helenne Lindemann who registered it on 3299 PX 92. Then, it was acquired by the current owner in 1988, who initially used this Mistral to drop his children off at school, which he fondly remembers! Since then, the car has remained static, and will require recommissioning before returning to the road. Following inspection, Maserati Classiche has confirmed the car retains its matching-numbers engine, and today the car presents in its factory-correct colour scheme. The odometer reads 42,389 kilometres at the time of cataloguing, while the car is accompanied by Maserati Classiche data, a tool kit, and spare Campagnolo wheel. For all French Maserati enthusiasts, this Mistral 4.0 provides the opportunity to acquire an exciting project that still retains its Lucas fuel injection system, and is crying out to be returned to its former glory. 1970 Maserati Mistral RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1989 Ferrari F40 3
One can rightly opine that Ferrari's 201mph F40 is the definitive supercar, and has a formidable reputation alongside the 250 GTO as possibly the best road-going Ferrari built to date. With the seismic introduction of the F40 in 1987, Ferrari and Pininfarina produced an era-defining creation of angular beauty, one that even today is instantly recognisable by old and young enthusiasts alike. The 2.9L flat-plane crank V8 at the heart of the F40 produced 470HP through the assistance of dual IHI turbochargers, and with a svelte curb weight of 2,765lbs, the F40 was staggeringly fast thanks to a mammoth power-to-weight ratio, earning it the title of being the first road car to surpass the mythical 200mph boundary. Closely derived from the Group B 288 GTO and the experimental GTO Evoluzione, the F40 exudes what was the pinnacle of Ferrari motorsport technologies at the time, with the extensive use of carbonfiber composites, massive turbochargers, and minimal driver aids, the F40 instantaneously held a steadfast placement within the hallowed halls of automotive greats. The Cultivated Collector’s 1989 Ferrari F40, Chassis 80774, is an early example of the breed and is a “Non-Cat Non-Adjust” that was supplied new in 1989 through the French Ferrari distributor Charles Pozzi. 80774’s first caretaker, Emile Balthazard, was a very well known and respected French enthusiast who exercised the car frequently while maintaining the highest of maintenance standards. Mr. Balthazard would lovingly care for 80774 for just over 20 years until the car moved to the UK where DK Engineering would sell the car to its first UK owner, who would retain the car for a short two year period. The subsequent caretaker would retain stewardship of 80774 for 10 years, where during that time the car would reside, fully pampered, at DK Engineering’s state of the art storage facilities, while receiving regular attention by their masterful service department. Recently, in June of 2019, 80774 received its last major service which included replacement of the cambelts, as well as four new tires and fitting new fuel tanks, and in March of 2020 the car would return to DK Engineering’s service team to be the recipient of a new clutch and flywheel. Since completion of this most recent work in 2020, the car had covered a mere 300km before being acquired in January of 2022 by The Cultivated Collector, thus beginning its latest adventure stateside. Complete with history documents from new, manuals, Classiche binder, and tool kit, 80774 is ready and needing nothing beyond an enthusiastic new caretaker. 80774 is an example that represents a splendid and unique F40 ownership opportunity, as the 60,000km the car has covered to date ensures future stewards the opportunity of carefree enjoyment of the car for what it is - a masterpiece of Ferrari engineering to the highest degree. 1989 Ferrari F40 The Cultivated Collector LLC If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer.
