"If I had an hour to live, the last car I would drive is a 1959 Lister Knobbly!" - Chris Harris Lister Knobbly, developed with an oblique eye on the principle of the Jaguar C & D type. The Knobbly got its name from its distinctive curved body, consisting of aluminum panels and a tubular steel chassis. At the time, the car was designed to shoot lightly and aerodynamically through the fresh British air. With a low center of gravity and good weight distribution, you steer through the Goodwood Circuit's tricky curves with perfection. The Knobbly was powered by a range of engines. The Lister with Corvette engine went to America, the Maserati six-cylinder to Italy and Jaguar XK six-cylinder was allowed to stay in England. The most famous Knobbly models were powered by the Jaguar engine, which produced up to 250 horsepower as standard and could propel the car above 250 kilometers per hour. Our impressive Lister Knobbly is officially a recreation. Built from an official chassis. Then the original Lister body assembly was met at Bob Smiths. This was done very expertly, even to the point that Mr. Lister himself has spoken in praise. Sure, we can prove it! In addition, approved with matching FIVA/FEHAC, Historic Technical Passport and homologation. This Lister has a prepared 3.8 liter Jaguar XK engine. Delivers more than 300 horsepower equipped with three double Weber carburetors, dion rear axle with disc brakes against the differential, aluminum radiator and fuel tank, Dunlop racing wheels, Kenlowe cooling fan and electric fuel pump. This Lister has a special past of which we are well aware, Curious? We would love to tell you this very detailed story!
