The Knobbly got its name from its distinctive curved body, consisting of aluminum panels and a tubular steel chassis. The Lister with Corvette engine went to America, the Maserati six-cylinder to Italy and Jaguar XK six-cylinder was allowed to stay in England. The most famous Knobbly models were powered by the Jaguar engine, which produced up to 250 horsepower as standard and could propel the car above 250 kilometers per hour.
