  • 1970 Opel GT 1900

The Americans had their Corvette, a beefy and elegant sports car as a counterpoint to the ubiquitous Ford Mustang. Apart from the Porsche 911/912, the Germans didn't really have a thing for real sports enthusiasts. Until the Opel GT turned the established middle class on its head. The strongly waisted Flounder stands like no other car for the fact that racy sports cars can be affordable. Suddenly it no longer had to be a Porsche that made the children's jaws drop on the street corner. The lightning bolt stood out like no other and was a sign of a new generation of cars. Anyone who found a Kadett too stuffy and an Ascona too embarrassing fell in love with the mercilessly desirable design of the Opel GT, even though, according to Opel, series production was not planned (it was initially said). Things turned out differently. In the fall of 1968, the Opel GT, which was advertised with the slogan “Only flying is more beautiful,” entered the automotive world. Technically, the car was based on the Kadett B, from which the 60 hp engine also came. But this weaker version only remained in the program for two years. The car with the 1900 S engine from the Opel Rekord C became a successful model. Because the four-cylinder engine with an output of 90 hp did not quite fit under the flat hood, it was given a characteristic bulge at the front right - which only made the design even more extravagant made more casual. Incidentally, Opel bought the bodies from a French manufacturer; the GT was manufactured in the Bochum plant. By the end of production in the fall of 1973, 103,373 examples had left the factory. The majority of the vehicles, namely exactly 84,000 models, were exported, primarily to the USA. There the crisp Opel made a career as a miniature Corvette. In general, with the GT, Opel demonstrated a sense for young automotive talent. The 60 hp version was initially available from 10,780 marks, the more powerful 90 hp model cost 11,880 marks. When the small GT was phased out, the GT Junior was introduced in 1971. The model was technically completely identical to the normal GT, but was offered significantly cheaper, namely from 10,500 marks. All chrome trim was eliminated and replaced with parts painted matt black. GT Junior drivers also had to do without vent windows, corduroy seat covers, some cockpit instruments and carpet mats. But that didn't dampen the enthusiasm for the car. On the contrary: the matt black accents looked good on the car. The end came suddenly in the fall of 1973. The French body manufacturer had been bought by Renault and stopped deliveries; In addition, stricter US regulations would have required a thorough renovation of the GT. Opel then had the model discontinued without replacement. VEHICLE DESCRIPTION Beautiful Opel GT in a unique color combination that makes the already desirable coupé an absolute eye-catcher. The Americans loved the Mini-Corvette, so it's no wonder that half of the production went to the USA and, depending on the state, it was able to survive to this day without major restoration work, unlike vehicles from our latitudes. This wonderful GT came from Florida some time ago and has obviously seen very little rain and certainly no snow or salt. In contrast to many vehicles from Europe, which have been restored more poorly than fairly and have a lot of poorly fitting fiberglass parts installed, this car is still made entirely of sheet metal. Logically, after over 50 years, the paint and upholstery could no longer keep up with the good body and were renewed a few years ago in high quality and show no major signs of wear either inside or outside. Before the full TÜV report was carried out, the GT received some wear-and-tear repairs in Germany, such as a new aluminum radiator, complete brakes, seals, tires, tank ventilation, etc. Plus new ATS rims with wide tires, which make the little coupé appear muscular. All chassis bushings were recently replaced with red PU bushings. This means that the car is not necessarily suitable for people with spinal disc injuries, but it sits like a proverbial board on the road. The well-known 1900 engine from many Opel models sounds and feels perfectly healthy, the transmission shifts smoothly and the entire electrical system works, right down to the well-fitting and smoothly functioning pop-up headlights. The chassis is sporty and firm and the steering is direct. Thanks to the technology adopted from large-scale production, the supply of spare parts is good. The floor pan and chassis came from the Kadett B. The reliable 1.9 liter engine was taken from the Rekord C. Overall, a rare and at the same time very attractive GT that is difficult to find these days. 1970 Opel GT 1900 DLS Automobile If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1952 Aston Martin DB 2 Vantage

The prototype DB2 appeared as one of three Aston Martins at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1949. The production model of the DB2 was first shown at the New York Auto Show in April 1950. Although demand was high, examples 2 to 4 were reserved for use in the 1950 24 Hours of Le Mans. The cars took the first two places and were entered again in 1951. The success brought fame to David Brown’s ascendant company and convinced its management to build a series of cars specifically designed for racing, starting with the DB3. Only 238 Vantage specification cars of the Aston Martin DB 2 were produced between 1950 and 1953. According to the available documentation, the car presented here was completely “frame-off” restored with great attention to detail by an Aston Martin specialist down to the last screw. In order to improve the driving characteristics, the technology was extensively optimised, taking into account the originality. A comprehensive photo documentation of the restoration process, a Heritage Certificate and the Built sheet are available. The vehicle convinces by a very high restoration standard with outstanding driving characteristics. Equipment 4-speed manual gearbox, 3 Weber twin carburettors, sports suspension, optimised rear axle with limited slip differential, aluminium brake drums, reinforced spoke wheels in 5″ x 16″ inch, and much more. Engine 2.800 ccm, 202 hp, engine upgrade to 2,8 lt. and 202 hp according dynosheet. 1952 Aston Martin DB 2 Vantage Thiesen Hamburg GmbH If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. The Cultivated Collector’s 1998 Ferrari 550 Maranello, Chassis 12801, is a stunning example of the breed - finished in the beautiful color of Grigio Titano, is complemented by the interior which is wrapped in deep Blu Scuro leather. Having covered a mere 17,700 miles from new, 12801 benefits greatly from loving previous ownership, seeing consistent servicing and having just been serviced by marque specialist Jim McGee of Pocono Sports Car. This 550 Maranello is in exceptional condition throughout, a turn-key example of the ultimate modern Grand Tourer that is ready to enjoy on the open road. The early 1990’s saw Ferrari ignite a return to their roots by reintroducing and reviving the front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout that had been synonymous with the brand’s early success, yet absent from Ferrari's lineup since the 365 GTB/4 Daytona in the early 1970s. Riding on the heels of the electrifying 512M, the all new 550 Maranello would triumphantly carry the torch forward for V12 powered Ferrari cars. Exuding the brand’s deep and rich history, the 550 Maranello was proudly named after Ferrari’s home, the beautiful city of Maranello, Italy. Ferrari entrusted design to Pininfarina, with the project being led by Lorenzo Ramaciotti, the exterior featured a sleek and timeless design emphasized by clean flowing lines and muscular proportions akin to a classic GT car, while the interior exuded a stunning leather clad center console encapsulating both driver and passenger. Excellence was not skin deep, however. Nestled in the tubular steel space frame, the 550 Maranello boasted the best Ferrari had to offer in the form of the F133A, a front-mounted 5.5-liter V12 engine producing 478 horsepower and 419 lb-ft of torque, all being sent to the rear wheels through an engaging 6-speed manual transmission. The 550 Maranello boasted marvelous handling and dynamics, thanks to its balanced weight distribution and highly-tuned double wishbone suspension, providing occupants with a comfortable and luxurious interior with leather upholstery and modern amenities, placing it firmly as the class leader for long-distance driving and grand touring. During its production run from 1996 to 2001, an estimated 3,000 examples left the Maranello based manufacturing facilities. Over its 5 year lifespan, the 550 Maranello consistently received positive reviews from critics and enthusiasts, being widely regarded as a highly capable and desirable grand tourer, blending performance, style, and comfort in an exceptional Italian package. 1998 Ferrari 550 Maranello The Cultivated Collector LLC If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. The S4s was the final development of the four-cylinder, 2.2-litre turbocharged Esprit and this magazine-featured, Calypso Red, low-mileage example was an original Press Car. The final development of the four-cylinder, 2.2-litre turbocharged Esprit, the S4s (the factory used a small 's') was born from Lotus customers telling the company that they wanted their Esprit to be as fast as the ultra-quick and raw Sport 300 but with the comfort and flexibility of the standard S4. 367 were built in total. This particular Lotus Esprit S4s was one of the original Press Cars and was featured in the April 1995 edition of Autocar magazine, being put through its paces by Andrew Frankel who was Road Test Editor at the time quoting that 'Britain only built one mid-engined supercar and you're looking at it', high praise indeed for a car at the time which Andrew described as one that 'deserves your respect'. Some 30 years later we suggest that remains true, with looks that still request your attention and turn heads wherever you go. Finished in Calypso Red with a Black Alcantara interior, this example was first registered to Lotus Cars Limited in March 1995 and retained by them until being transferred to its first private custodian, a Mr R McCarthy of Castle Coombe in April 1996. Remaining in outstanding condition throughout with an impressively low 25,290 miles and a large history file that outlines the intervening years, we suggest that this particular Lotus would be a welcome addition to any Lotus or sports car collection and as such we welcome and encourage your early inspection to confirm that all your requirements are fulfilled. It's also pleasing to note that the original, magazine-featured registration number, M181 BEX, remains assigned, underlining the car's history and lineage. 1995 Lotus Esprit S4s Iconic Auctioneers Ltd If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. The notice and take down procedure is described here: https://www.speedholics.com/copyright The S4s was the final development of the four-cylinder, 2.2-litre turbocharged Esprit and this magazine-featured, Calypso Red, low-mileage example was an original Press Car. • 1958 Aston Martin DB 2/4 MKIII

Aston Martin, the company now known for building some of the UK’s sleekest sports cars for consumers and spies alike, was founded in 1913 with the intention of selling Singer vehicles and repairing GWK and Calthorpe models. Founders Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford created the first car badged as an Aston Martin when they fit a four-cylinder Coventry-Simplex engine into a 1908 Isotta Fraschini. Following a brief pause caused by the First World War, the company produced a few race cars and consumer cars before facing financial trouble in 1924 and selling their assets to Dorothea Mary Roby Thorpe, wife of Godfrey Benson, 1st Baron of Charnwood. Bill Renwick and Augustus Bertelli joined Dorothea and began producing racing and passenger cars from 1926 to 1937 before the Second World War once more paused production. In 1947, English industrialist David Brown became Aston Martin’s latest owner after purchasing it for £20,500 from an ad in The Times. Thus began the production of the hailed DB series of sports cars. The DB1, based on the Atom prototype, sold only 15 units from 1948 to 1950 before being replaced by the DB2. Being a more advanced and refined unit, the DB2 sold 411 examples from 1950 to 1953 in multiple body configurations. It, too, was replaced in 1951 with the racing-only DB3 and the grand touring DB2/4 Mark I and II in 1953 and 1955, respectively. In 1957, the Aston Martin DB Mark III was introduced as a successor to the DB2/4 Mark II despite never officially being called the DB 2/4 Mark III. The car was redesigned by Polish engineer Tadek Marek and used an evolved version of the DB2/4 Mark II’s Lagonda straight-6 engine. The standard, twin SU carburetor-powered engine produced 162 hp, although an optional dual exhaust raised that number. A mid-level “DBD” trim level with triple SU 1.75″ carbs and dual exhaust produced 180 hp and was fitted to 47 cars. In contrast, a high-output “DBB” trim featured triple twin-choke Weber 35 DCO 3 carbs, special long-duration camshafts, high compression 8.6:1 pistons, and the dual-exhaust system was rated at 195 hp but was ordered on only 10 cars. All engines were backed by a four-speed manual or an optional automatic transmission. The DB 2/4 Mark III came standard with Girling disc brakes after the first 100 examples. This was also the first model to come equipped with the Bert Thickpenny-designed front grille, which would become a staple of all future Aston Martins. The car could be had as either a drophead or fixed-head coupé or a hatchback. Only 551 examples of the Mark III were produced in the two-year production run, with only 83 of them being in left-hand drive configuration. Thanks to their low production numbers and timeless good looks, the DB 2/4 Mark III has seen strong collectability over the years. They remain an important and storied portion of Aston Martin’s history, and their importance is backed by the strong pricing we still see them bring in what seems to be an increasingly modern collectible market landscape. As with any early British sports car, restoration on these can become a pocket-draining expense very quickly, so finding one that has already been properly restored, with correct and careful ownership to ensure long-term useability, is paramount. This particular example is 1-of-83 LHD units to leave the factory. Chassis # AM/300/3/1672, was built in September of 1958 and dispatched to Charles H. Hornburg Jnr Inc. of Los Angeles, CA in January of 1959 as per the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust records. The car wore a Satin Bronze exterior with an Off-White interior, Firestone Super Sports whitewall tires, and the optional fully chromed wheels. It was delivered to its first owner, Mr. Saul Pollack of Los Angeles, CA, in April 1959. Mr. Pollack was the owner of the Waverly Mansion, president of Karl’s Shoe Stores, and brother-in-law to Mr. Harry Karl, Debbie Reynolds’s second husband and adoptive father of Todd and Carrie Fisher. Mr. Pollack married Mr. Karl’s sister, Sarah. The Aston Martin made its way back to the UK to its second owner in October of 1991. The car was registered in Lancaster, Lancashire, with the license plate VSK 659. In March of 1992, it was sold to its third owner from Hayward Heath, also in the UK, and once again to its fourth owner in April of 1993. In 2002, the car traveled overseas once more to its fifth owner, Baron Paul van der Straten Waillet, in Belgium, where it adopted the license plate VDY 993. The service records on file start around 2006 under Mr. Van der Straten Waillet’s ownership, showcasing the care and attention he put into keeping this British wonder on the road. A major service in September of 2007 at Twin Cam (now Marreyt Classic Cars) in Aalst gave this Aston a new 8.6:1 83mm piston set, cylinder liners, head gasket, water pump, radiator, and other new parts. A return visit in April of 2011 resulted in a new power steering rack. Later, in September 2013, the headlights, mirrors, as well as both horns were replaced with units from RetroClassic Car Parts Ltd. In October 2013, the Aston was sold to its sixth and most current owner. Under their ownership, the extensive catalog of service records continued to expand exponentially. In November of that same year, a new horn button assembly and bonnet lamp mount were purchased from Kevin Kay Aston Parts in Redding, CA. In December, the original Aston Martin “Instruction Book” was masterfully restored by Ann-Marie Miller ACR in London for a total cost of £615.50 in an effort to preserve it for decades to come. In August 2014, the car was stripped and repainted in Fern Green by Frankie’s Auto Paintwork, a color it still wears today. NOS Lucas Le Mans headlights were bought in January 2016 from Rogers Motors in Shutesbury, MA. The headliner and trunk panels were replaced with new, factory-type material in September 2016 by Harry Fraser Vehicle in Bicester, UK. From May to June of 2017, the windshield wiper assembly was restored by Leydon Restorations LLC in Lahaska, PA, with special attention given to repairing the wiper park mechanism. Lastly, in March of 2021, the clutch was replaced by Automotive Restorations, Inc. in Stratford, CT. Being a fairly early Aston Martin makes this DB 2/4 Mark III a rare example of the company’s beginnings. It represents a turning point in the British marque’s story from a largely boutique maker to a more household name in sports and racing cars. Described as “one of the world’s outstanding sports models” by The Autocar magazine, this model was also the first James Bond Aston Martin, being featured in the 1959 “Goldfinger” novel as the “DB III.” This particular example is, without a doubt, one of the nicest to hit the market. Benefitting from decades of meticulous care dating back to its original owner, this Aston Martin DB 2/4 Mark III is as beautiful as it is rare, with only 83 examples being originally produced in LHD configuration. Its previous prestigious owners, along with the countries it has traveled to, give this car a unique pedigree that sets it apart from others in the crowd and would instantly complement any existing car collection. Upon purchase, the new owner will receive the original factory manuals, the original factory build sheet, an original dealer brochure, the BMIHT Certificate, the car’s FIVA Identity Card, a period article about the model, two Concours awards, as well as the service and ownership records on file. EXTERIOR Body And Paint Quite fitting in this shade of green, this DB2/5 MKIII shows well overall. It has consistent panel gaps, is straight down the sides, and the paint has a deep luster. The body has clearly been prepped well in terms of how straight the panels are, with no major issues standing out. However, we can classify the presentation of the paint today as good driver quality as it is revealing its age in a few spots. While it would not prevent the car from proudly being shown or driven regularly, there are some inconsistencies as listed below and photoed. Glass And Trim All of the glass appears to be the correct factory TriPlex glass, with the exception of the passenger vent window which has no markings. The condition of the glass is acceptable, considering the overall age. The windscreen has some light peppering, and the side glass shows a light scratch here or there, with the hatch glass showing two minor pencil-point-sized chips. The trim is all present and appears to have been well looked after, with all emblems and badges present, including some period additions. The door handles and window chrome are the only areas where there are some obvious signs of age, as photographed. Overall not worth addressing for those intending to drive rather than show. Wheels The wire wheels are consistent with the idea of a driver-quality car. They are showing some age in the way of chrome fade and scratching and other such flaws as photographed. Again, good for driving, but they should see attention if the intention is to competitively show this Aston Martin. Notable Flaws The base of the driver's side A-Pillar shows some texture inconsistency in the paint and a crack in the paint. On the bonnet near the same spot is a small area of paint lifting and a small area of solvent popping. The base of the passenger A-Pillar also shows a small bubble and a crack. The passenger door top shows a bubble and a crack as well. Further inspection will show a handful of small pencil point sized knicks in the paint throughout, commensurate with the use this car did see during its last ownership. The fog lights also have some chrome that is showing their age. Please review the photos in detail to see these flaws and any other flaws that may have been captured. INTERIOR Seats And Surfaces The interior is perfectly contrasted with the exterior color with a rich natural leather presentation. The Green piping and aging that is present give it an inviting and genuine feel. The interior is, overall, excellent and was clearly restored all at the same time many years ago to a high standard. There was careful attention paid to elements of correctness, and the quality of craftsmanship is apparent. The door jams are nicely and correctly tended to with newer chrome and rubber as is correct. The dash is the proper finish, as are the fascia, kick panels, mats, and tunnels. All are in excellent condition, with perhaps some patina. The headliner and visors are all nicely refinished, and overall, the interior is impressive right down to the correct original mat in the trunk. There are some areas to mention that could see attention, though not totally necessary. The gauge bezels for the RPM and MPH gauges do have chrome that is failing, and there is some paint worn off on the steering column adjuster as well as some touch-up on the dash where it meets the steering column. Otherwise, this is a well-appointed and well-cared-for interior that has seen a proper refurbishment some years ago. Functionality And Accessories Our testing of the various knobs, pulls, and switches in the car revealed that it is indeed in correct working order throughout. Lighting, windshield wipers, heater motor, etc… all appeared to be in correct working order with no issues to note. ENGINE BAY AND TRUNK Engine Bay The engine bay of this car shows that it has received proper care from knowledgeable custodians and technicians. There was particular attention paid to correctness in the engine bay. Between the various coatings, clamps, correct style wires, stickers, and a general not-to-polished presentation that alludes to how it may have left the factory. A few incorrect items that are minor stand out, such as the new fuel line which we had replaced for safety. One extra spark plug is a little rusty, and the battery is not a correct replica. An extra correct style battery is included along with the original fuel line. Trunk Area The trunk area is tidy; removing the protective mat reveals the original-style mat, albeit cracked from age and under that clean and shiny green paint. Digging deeper, we can access the spare wheel handle, which has been correctly restored to exactly as it left the factory, utilizing a period-correct military-grade fabric with a wooden handle to allow the spare to drop. Underside The underside is very much representative of the excellent driver-quality example that this car is. It is solid, complete, and showing to be well serviced, but perhaps a little oily, greasy, and dirty here or there, as to be expected with a turn-key and reliable British Car. Please refer to the photos to have a closer look. Notable Flaws The engine bay light on the underside of the bonnet, while correct and present, does not currently light up. MECHANICALS Engine The engine starts easily, runs strong, makes strong oil pressure, and remains cool. It is a well-sorted example. Transmission The 4-speed transmission works as well as a 1958-designed transmission can, with no issues to note. It should be noted that the clutch in this car is brand new. Brakes And Suspension The steering and suspension feel responsive and as stiff as they were originally intended by Aston Martin in 1958. Overall, it feels well-serviced and in order. The brakes work well, with no pulling and a strong pedal. As always, it is our recommendation that this car be inspected by a mechanic by the new owner before rigorous use to ensure all systems are in order, as this car has not seen the regular use it was used to in the past two years. Tires The tires are the period-correct style Firestone Deluxe Champion 6.00-16 92P’s on all four corners with date codes of 2014. Technically, they should see replacement, but there are no signs of cracking, and they are still supple to the touch. 1958 Aston Martin DB 2/4 MKIII LBI Limited If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1987 Porsche "TAG" Turbo AP85

In the 1980s, Formula 1 belonged to McLaren International – a total of five drivers and four constructors championships were won by the team from Woking. In the mid-’80s, the MP4/2 and subsequent MP4/2B, MP4/2C, and finally MP4/3 were the cars to beat. A combination of John Barnard’s pioneering carbon composite chassis and the Porsche-designed and built TAG TTE P01 V6 twin-turbo engine led Alain Prost and Niki Lauda to three drivers and two constructors championships. These times were wild – limited safety, engines were turbocharged, small capacity units producing vast amounts of horsepower. Ron Dennis, in search of a manufacturer to provide a reliable turbocharged engine, partnered with Mansour Ojjeh’s TAG and approached Porsche. Hans Mezger headed up the project and designed a relatively narrow 80 degree V6 cylinder twin-turbocharged engine capable of producing 1060hp in its most potent qualifying trim. The design and materials used employed innovative technologies that are more commonplace in contemporary Formula 1 cars, but were unusual in period: cooling channels around the valve seats housing sodium-filled valves fed from twin water pumps mounted at the end of the engine itself; KKK handed turbo-chargers; forged pistons supplied by Mahle and titanium connecting rods. The TAG-Porsche TTE P01 V6 was an icon winning 26 Grand Prix – to celebrate how special the engine was, the team came up with the idea to install it in Porsche’s ultimate road car of the period, the 911 Turbo. The one-off Porsche 930 TAG Turbo is the original expression of “a Formula 1 engine installed in a road car”. The car has subtle aesthetic differences versus the standard 930 Turbo, specifically a deeper front splitter (unlike the air-cooled three litre flat six-cylinder engine in the standard car, the TAG-Turbo is water-cooled, necessitating the introduction of radiators in the front of the car); a larger rear wing; Ruf alloy wheels, and a turbo boost gauge that went to three bars. The car remained the singular example of a Porsche Formula 1 engine installed in a road car for many years, until one day in April 2017 we visited McLaren Technology Center, home of McLaren Racing. We enquired if we could purchase the one-off 930 TAG Turbo, which was respectfully declined, which led us to then ask about an engine for an exact copy of the one-off, which we would build at Lanzante. McLaren agreed to consider it and get back to us. Meanwhile, we considered what would be required to build the second car to the correct standard – we realized that in order to produce a car of the highest quality, we would need to produce a small volume run of 930 TAG Turbos. Some time was spent on the details of the build, and we eventually arrived at a production number of 11 cars, one car for each driver in each year the Porsche TAG Turbo engine contested Grand Prix in a McLaren chassis. McLaren Racing agreed to sell us sufficient examples of the TAG Turbo V6, and the Porsche 930 TAG Turbo by Lanzante was born. We studied the original one-off, and developed our concept more accurately – we wanted to stay true to the original car, but contemporaneously improve on the quality, and drivability and utilize the best technology available to us. Every engine used in a Porsche 930 TAG Turbo by Lanzante is an original, designed and built by Porsche in period, TTE P01 twin turbo V6, and used in a Formula 1 car in the period. We have partnered with Cosworth, a world-class automotive engineering company, to re-engineer and re-built the race engines to the most optimal form for use in a Porsche 911 road car. The development journey has resulted in a package that delivers: 503 bhp at 8,500rpm and 420Nm in maximum torque Maximum engine speed of 9,000 rpm Maximum boost pressure of 3 bar Total weight of an engine – 130kg (which is 130kg less than the standard engine in a 930 Turbo road car). AP85 started as a lovely 1987 930 Turbo that was in great driving condition. Once sourced, the car was transported to Lanzante LTD in November of '20 to start its transition into one of the lucky eleven TAG Turbo's. When working through the initial vehicle specification, it was determined that the car would be finished in Porsche Slate Grey over a "Manor Red Leather/Houndstooth" interior. Completing its build in February of '22, the car was then flown over to the United States to join a collection of some historic McLaren Grand Prix cars. AP85's engine was most notably used in the 1985 Holland Grand Prix and 1986 French Grand Prix, propelling Prost to a 2nd place finish in each. Stefan Johansson would then have this engine strapped behind him in the 1987 Monaco Grand Prix where he suffered a DNF and in France where the engine would take him to an 8th place finish. Benefits from an annual service with Lanzante LTD in October of '24 Includes a second set of comfort seats Beautifully presented in a period-correct spec, this is an extremely rare opportunity to acquire a remarkable TAG Turbo built by Lanzante. 1987 Porsche "TAG" Turbo AP85 Mouse Motors LLC If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1981 Alfa Romeo GTV6

Features electric windows, air conditioning, tinted glass, R/C, alloy wheels, right exterior mirror, metallic paint, sports exhaust system The deeper you delve into this topic, the more we should agree on one important point - this car should actually no longer exist. At least not in this unrestored, top condition after 43 years. If it does (which we strongly doubt), then it is either in the Alfa Romeo Museum in Milan or in a well-sorted collection of an Alfa Romeo connoisseur. This exceptionally well-preserved GTV matured in sun-drenched Tuscany and was therefore not exposed to winter in salt or other bad weather. In addition, during the long rest periods of its sheltered maturation it probably had a shady spot that kept its interior and dashboard away from the sun and thus prevented it from drying out or even cracking. Accordingly, its interior does not look any more worn or faded than that of a two- to three-year-old, well-maintained Alfa of the same series. With the main difference that a good 40 years have passed and there are no more two- to three-year-old GTV6s... Do you see what we're getting at? We call it an incredible stroke of luck that we can admire the favorite car of an Alfisti who apparently knew what to do to preserve his car for posterity over 40 years ago. The Alfa is missing exactly NOTHING! No maintenance backlog, a functioning air conditioning system (from the factory!), no imbalance, tires, brakes - everything is just as you would have hoped 40 years ago when you could pick up your ordered new car from your trusted Alfa Romeo dealer. Even when the new car was handed over, the buyers of this brand had to be blessed with a certain... to put it mildly in old age - willingness to compromise, so as not to drive off the lot in a fit of rage at the ceremonial handover... Anyone who is old and honest enough with themselves and who is not suffering from memory loss will remember: That - was - Alfa! A love-hate relationship for a fascinating but also bitchy automobile with many stubborn moods that kept its drivers on their toes. But when it worked (which it basically did almost always, because it was usually only the small "background noises" that made life difficult...), the Alfa Romeo was a wonderful car with character, with sound and with a good dose of built-in Italy... We digress... There will be more details about this very special GTV shortly. First, however, we ask you to look at all the photos we took immediately after receiving this gem. Probably the finest, most melodious V6 engine from series production in one of the most beautiful coupes of the 70s and 80s - the top model from Alfa Romeo at the time with the designation GTV6 2.5. • 1957-mercedes-benz-300-sl-roadster-3

Created to spearhead Mercedes-Benz's return to competition in the post-war era, the 300SL debuted in the 1952 Mille Miglia, finishing 2nd and 4th overall. Wins in the Carrera Pan-Americana and at Le Mans followed, and the 300SL was on its way to becoming part of motor sporting legend. The first racers were open-topped but before the '52 season's end the distinctive gull-wing doored Coupé had appeared. Unusually high sills were a feature of the multi-tubular spaceframe chassis, and while access was not a problem of the open car, the adoption of coupé bodywork required innovative thinking - hence the gull-wing doors. Launched in 1954, the production 300SL retained the spaceframe chassis of the racer and was powered by a 2,996cc, overhead-camshaft, inline six canted at 45 degrees to achieve a lower, more aerodynamic bonnet line. Using innovative direct fuel injection, this state-of-the-art power unit produced 215bhp at 5,800rpm. A four-speed gearbox transmitted power to the hypoid bevel rear axle. Suspension was independent all round by wishbones and coil springs at the front, with swing axles and coil springs at the rear. Tested by the highly respected American magazine Road & Track in 1955, the 300SL accelerated from 0-60mph in 7.4 seconds, going on to achieve a top speed of 140mph: outstanding figures for its day. It was, arguably, the world's first supercar. Clearly the 300SL Coupé would be a hard act to follow yet the Roadster version, introduced just three years later, succeeded in bettering its closed cousin's already exemplary road manners. Built with conventional doors, the 300SL Roadster was first exhibited at the Geneva Salon in May 1957 and was an immediate hit with the 1950s 'jet set' including royalty, actors and socialites. The production of an open 300SL involved altering the cockpit area, where the spaceframe was redesigned to permit lower sills for improved access. At the same time the rear suspension was changed to incorporate low-pivot swing axles. The 300SL Roadster sold well for a car that cost more than a Ferrari 250GT California Spyder, and would out-live the 300SL Coupé by several years This wonderful matching numbers 300 SL Roadster left the factory on 9th December 1957 to be sent to distributor Studebaker/Packard in South Bend, Indiana, USA. The original colour scheme was Hellblau with white leather interior and beige hood. Other original features listed include instruments in English/miles, sealed-beam headlights, 'Made in Western Germany' plaques, Becker Mexico radio, reversing light, and a 3.89:1 ratio rear axle. It is understood that this 300 SL had just two keepers in the USA, moving from Indiana to Bayshore, New York for its second custodian, Mr Rager. Rager would keep the 300 SL until 1989 when it was sold back to Germany with just 33,000 miles to a specialist restorer, Mr Kaesmacher of Dusseldorf. During At that time the car was re-trimmed in Cognac leather and was also fitted with European headlamps and a new black soft-top. The engine and gearbox were overhauled and other mechanical works carried out by Kaesmacher. 2011 saw the car move to 300 SL specialists HK Engineering who carried out further documented works to the car. Shortly thereafter, the car was purchased by noted expert Ivan Page-Radcliff who imported the car into the UK. Page-Radcliff’s subject expertise was unrivalled, with a career that had started out selling 300 SL from Brooklands Motor Cars in period. As a man who sold over 100 300 SL Gullwings, he certainly knew how to find a great example. In 2013 the 300 SL was sold to a French collector where it would remain for a further two years ahead of return and reimportation to the UK by the current owner in 2015. In the past ten years, this example has been used sparingly, received routine maintenance by DK Engineering and more recently, Riverside Engineering. As confirmed by Martin Cushway in January 2025, all numbers on this 300 SL roadster match the original data card; chassis, engine, gearbox etc, including each of the wheels and the spare. It is understood that fewer than 50% of Roadster production retains its original gearbox today. Today this example presents well, accompanied by its history folio and UK registration and is available to view at our showrooms outside London immediately. 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster D.K. The notice and take down procedure is described here: https://www.speedholics.com/copyright Created to spearhead Mercedes-Benz's return to competition in the post-war era, the 300SL debuted in the 1952 Mille Miglia, finishing 2nd and 4th overall. Other Cars from D.K. • 1965 Alfa Romeo 2600 SZ

Chassis 29 of 105 built, Finished in Blue Over Black Interior, Unrestored Example With Original Tool Kit, Books, and Manuals, A Perfect Restoration Candidate or Driving Event Car. Alfa Romeo in the 1950s and 1960s is famous for producing sporty, small cars that were symbolic of the types of roads found around Italy after World War 2. Most were based around the Tipo 750 and Tipo 101 chassis and were powered by small displacement four-cylinder engines that were happy running at high revs all day and were built to handle tight winding roads with ease. But starting in 1958, Alfa Romeo also began offering a high-end flagship coupe and sedan-first known as the 2000 and then later, 2600. Powered by an all-alloy dual overhead cam Inline-6, these cars were predominantly built for grand touring and could produce up to 165 horsepower with exceptionally smooth power delivery. The 2600 series represents a unique point for Alfa Romeo as it was the final car to come from the brand with an Inline-6- an engine layout that they had found tremendous success racing with both before and immediately after the war. Although Bretone designed most of the 2600s, Alfa Romeo tapped legendary design house Zagato to build a limited run of coupes that would be the highest-performing variant in the range. Penned by Ercole Spada-the same stylist who came up with cars such as the DB4 GT Zagato and Alfa Romeo TZ-1- the 2600 Sport Zagato was based around a spyder chassis to keep the wheelbase as short as possible and the weight down. With a price that rivaled 12-cylinder Ferraris of the time, the inline 6-cylinder Alfa Romeo was a tough sell but for the discerning enthusiast, it was a unique and stunning alternative. In total, just 105 examples were built- including 5 prototypes- and according to the SZ register, less than 65 are known today. This 2600 Sport Zagato was built in December of 1965 and first sold in Novara, Italy in February of 1968. When the car came out of the factory it was finished in Grigio Chairo Metallizzato over a Black “Skai” leatherette interior. After its original ownership in Italy, the car was sold to an enthusiast based in Fort Wayne, Indiana where it stayed for a number of years before being sold to a collector in South Lyon, Michigan in 2012. The Sport Zagato remained in his care until July of 2018 when it was sold and exported back to Europe, ending up in Belgium where it has stayed with that owner until the present day. In the nearly 60 years since this car was produced, it has remained in largely original condition and has never been apart for restoration. At some point, the car was repainted from its original metallic gray to a striking shade of blue that suits the lines of the car very well. What is particularly unique about this example is that even after moving overseas and multiple ownership changes, the car still retains its original tool kit, spare parts catalog, original service book, and brochure for the car. These can be some of the most difficult things to find all these years later and the fact that they are included with this car makes it a very interesting restoration candidate. Mechanically, the car is in fine form- the DOHC inline-6 runs smoothly and judging by the overall condition under the hood, has been well taken care of for its whole life. This would be a perfect car to buy and take on your favorite driving event this summer before tucking into a restoration over the winter and coming out the other side with one of the best 2600 Sport Zagatos anywhere. With less than 65 examples known in the world today, this 2600 SZ will be a great conversation piece everywhere you take it and a welcome addition to any collection. Most limited-production cars with designs that come from the desk of Ercole Spada will set you back deep into the 7 figures but this car with its striking shape and refined Alfa Romeo underpinnings represents tremendous value for a coachbuilt 1960s Italian sports car. Finding such a well-kept 2600 SZ with a documented ownership history and all of the original bits is no easy task and with this car, whether you choose to go the route of a restoration or you would prefer to get in the car and just start driving, this Zagato is the right car for the job. 1965 Alfa Romeo 2600 SZ ISSIMI, Inc If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1955 Ferrari 410 Sport Spider by Scaglietti

PROMETHEUS BOUND Despite Enzo Ferrari’s determination to win the 1955 World Sportscar Championship, very little went to plan that season. The new 118 and 121 LM six-cylinder models did not pan out as projected, forcing Ferrari to revert to his four-cylinder cars. And the disaster at Le Mans drew increasing scrutiny from critics of motor racing, which soon resulted in diminished engine-capacity regulations. At the very least, the Scuderia Ferrari looked forward to fielding a new V-12 model at the final championship contest of 1955, the Carrera Panamericana: the notoriously grueling five-day rally traversing the Mexican wilderness. The engineering team specified a wide, low-riding tubular spaceframe with a shorter wheelbase, in the hopes of neutralizing the Panamericana’s bumpy roads. Development began on a new series of chassis that were designated with a CM suffix, representing “Carrera Messicana.” Instead of continuing with the V-12 racing engine he had designed for models like the 340 Mexico and 375 Plus, engineer Aurelio Lampredi chose the engine more recently built for the 410 Superamerica road car, a 4,961-cubic-centimeter V-12 that was Ferrari’s largest mill to date. But typical to the season, things did not go as planned; midway through the new car’s development process, the Carrera Panamericana was cancelled. Ferrari built only four examples of the resulting 410 S, chassis numbers 0592 CM, 0594 CM, 0596 CM, and 0598 CM. As the build records of these cars reportedly featured no dates, we can only piece together the sequence of events circumstantially. It is clear that the final two cars received purpose-built type 519/C chassis and 24-plug competition engines, being completed as 410 Sport racing spiders. After the Carrera’s cancellation, these two cars were repurposed for the 1956 season, competing as factory entries in January 1956 at the 1000 KM of Buenos Aires. Chassis number 0594 CM was completed as a grand touring coupe called the 410 Speciale and quickly sold into private ownership. The featured lot, chassis number 0592 CM, was neither a factory racer nor a sedate roadgoing car, but rather a 410 Sport Speciale prototype that was transitioned into a privateer racecar. Its unique history and extreme styling make a stunning testament to the 410 Sport’s brilliance. CARRERA MESSICANA—THE FIRST OF FOUR This 410 Sport is widely understood to be the initial development car, a claim that is supported by the car’s chassis number (being the earliest of the four), and many of its Superamerica-based specifications. This 410 rides a shortened version of the Superamerica’s type 514 chassis, featuring a 2,410-millimeter wheelbase, which distinguishes it from the final two cars. It is likewise powered by a 12-plug type 126 Superamerica engine, albeit with a more ferocious state of tune. As concluded by historian Michael T. Lynch in an article for Cavallino magazine, the prioritization of the final two cars for factory competition purposes left the first two chassis earmarked for customer sales. This opened the door for one of the American West Coast racing scene’s most colorful team principals to add a true gem to his stable. THAT’S AMORE! In a field filled with a who’s-who of men’s men, Tony Parravano stood out from the rest. The Italian-born Parravano settled in Southern California by way of Chicago, eventually making a fortune in housing development. His deep pockets allowed him to indulge a newfound passion for racing Italian sports cars, and the Scuderia Parravano quickly made a name for itself in SCCA events, featuring top-grade drivers like Carroll Shelby, Ken Miles, and Phil Hill. Short of stature and wide of girth, Parravano would occasionally send his drivers to their wits’ end when he tinkered with the cars in the pits, only to endear himself to all with lavish dinners at top-tier restaurants during race weekends. Parravano aspired to assemble the largest collection of Ferrari racing cars worldwide, and during 1955 alone he purchased a 750 Monza, a 375 Speciale, a 375 Plus engine, and a 121 LM. His native command of Italian, his ability to travel without respect to cost, and his irrepressible confidence carried him to an unusual degree of latitude within the Ferrari factory. Upon the offering of 0592 CM for private sale, Parravano was able to have the car constructed in a true tailor-made status and reportedly consulted directly with Scaglietti about coachwork features. While 0592 CM’s styling is outwardly similar to the later cars at a glance, there are some notable differences. This spider has a more standard hood design, as opposed to the fender-enveloping hoods of the later cars. In addition to a longer tail, a mammoth ovoid grille, and a huge intake vent on the hood, the lowered coachwork is further distinguished by trademark Parravano cross-hatched fender-vent louvers, a feature that he ordered on many of his cars. Officially sold to Parravano in the summer of 1955, the 410 Sport was entered in the Palm Springs Road Races in February 1956, where it was piloted to overall victory by none other than Carroll Shelby himself. Shelby, who had driven a number of events for Scuderia Parravano, was at the end of his rope with Tony’s idiosyncrasies by this time, and this race proved to be his final outing under the Italian’s banner. Switching to John Edgar’s team, Shelby would go on to have massive racing success in a sister 410 Sport, chassis 0598 CM, which together with his Palm Springs victory in 0592 CM, helped put him on the racing map, paving his way to his Aston Martin Works team drive at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1959 where he famously achieved overall victory. In February 1957 the 410 Sport continued racing for Scuderia Parravano at New Smyrna Beach, Florida, where Eric Hauser finished 4th in the preliminary race. The little-known Bart Spiegelman then drove in the main event but retired early, and this marked the end of the car’s SCCA racing career. Parravano’s exit from the scene is certainly better known if not better understood than his entrance. A federal tax lien compelled Tony to flee for Mexico in mid 1957, and although he was successful in this evasion, only some of his cars escaped south of the border without being impounded. Chassis number 0592 CM was one, and it remained stored in an Ensenada warehouse for some time. In April 1960 Parravano was scheduled to return to the US for a court date but he never arrived, and no one ever saw him again. His disappearance remains one of racing’s most fascinating mysteries, evoking shades of Amelia Earhart or Jimmy Hoffa. FROM COAST TO COAST, AND BEYOND Parravano’s estate eventually sold the cars in Mexico to local enthusiasts, and in the early 1960s the 410 Sport was acquired by Javier Velasquez of Mexico City, one of the organizers of the Mexican Grand Prix. The Ferrari was then raced in 1964 in the Carrera de Costa a Costa Mexico (from Veracruz to Acapulco) by Juan Buchanon, as pictured in the February 1965 issue of Road & Track. By this time the alloy coachwork had been decorated with numerous names and sponsors, in the busy style of the Carrera Panamericana racecars. The 410’s photo in R&T caught the attention of an architect residing in Solebury, Pennsylvania named Robert Dusek. A few years later Dusek explored acquiring sports cars in Mexico, and in 1970 he was approached by Velasquez about the availability of the 410, which the American instantly recognized from the magazine article. After arranging its purchase in June 1971, the 410 Sport joined one of the most significant early American Ferrari collections of the 1960s and 1970s. Stablemates included many of Ferrari’s greatest sports racing and GT models including a 250 Testa Rossa, 335 Sport, 290 MM, 250 LM, 250 GT Tour de France, 330 P, 365 P2/3, 612 Can Am, and 857 Sport, among several others. In June 2008, after 37 years of passionate custody, Mr. Dusek sold the Ferrari and it joined one of Germany’s foremost Ferrari collections, where it remained for approximately six years. Acquired by the consignor in September 2014, the 410 was treated to a comprehensive restoration by two of the Ferrari niche’s most respected craftsmen. Engine guru Patrick Ottis was retained to rebuild the massive V-12, while Brian Hoyt was entrusted to refurbish the chassis systems and coachwork in its current stunning livery. In this beautifully restored state, the spider majestically returned to the concours center stage with an appearance at the 2018 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. It is important to note that 0592 CM is arguably the most original of the four 410 S examples, retaining its original matching-numbers engine, and having never been damaged during its short racing career. A true one-off Speciale big-block V-12 driven to victory by the legendary Carroll Shelby with Scuderia Parravano at one of America’s most iconic circuits of the 1950s, this prototype 410 Sport is undoubtedly one of Ferrari’s most impressively specified and designed racing spiders of the golden age of American sportscar racing. Ferrari collectors seeking an historically important and breathtaking thoroughbred Prancing Horse, eligible for many of the world’s most important events, need look no further. 1955 Ferrari 410 Sport Spider by Scaglietti Ferrari If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1976 Lamborghini Countach LP 400

With its futuristic wedge shape, the Lamborghini Countach’s outrageous lines belie its standing as a concept dating back to as early as 1970. Designs for the sports car began around halfway through the lifecycle of its predecessor, the timeless Miura, as Ferruccio Lamborghini gave his all to keep up with rivals—particularly archrival Ferrari in neighboring Modena, Italy, which had made great strides with its newly introduced 365 GTB/4. Sant’Agata Bolognese-based Lamborghini needed a modern take on its flagship platform, and so the Countach was born. Taking inspiration from the mid-mounted V-12 platform that contributed so much to the success of the earlier Miura, the overarching task set to Lamborghini engineers was to ensure that the Countach maximized every ounce of power while securing aerodynamic gains with the sleekest body possible. Starting life under the code name LP112, Paolo Stanzani, working alongside Massimo Parenti and test driver Bob Wallace, spearheaded the project, while the styling brief was handed to Marcello Gandini of the famous Bertone design house. A prototype was shown at the 1971 Geneva International Motor Show before engineers took an extended return to the drawing board, redesigning the car’s tubular chassis frame for greater strength and incorporating vertically mounted radiators in the cooling system, which funneled air through a pair of distinctive scoops and ducts. It would be another three years before the first customer cars were produced, with deliveries finally commencing in 1974. The earliest examples of the Countach were known as the LP 400 and featured a mid-rear mounted 3.9-liter V-12 rated at 375 horsepower. An evolution of the revered engine famously designed by Giotto Bizzarrini for the 350 GT, this V12 featured in some form across the Lamborghini lineup until 2010. It was the innovative way in which the driveline was packaged—with the gearbox in front of the mid-mounted V-12—that centralized mass, making the car forgiving at high speeds. Built around a complex spaceframe and wrapped in a mixture of aluminum and steel panels, the Countach would become known for its outrageous scissor-opening doors. Although the idea never made it to production, these early cars were initially intended to be built with a periscope-style rearview mirror. The stylish channel in the roof panel and corresponding small window remained and can be found on these early examples. While subsequent versions of the Countach would grow ever more flamboyant over the model’s 16-year production, the purity of Gandini’s original wedge design is best shown in the LP 400, nicknamed the “Periscopio” for its unique roof design. As the earliest and rarest iteration, it is no surprise that the LP 400 “Periscopio” is the most desirable Countach, its design nearly unchanged from that of the original concept that created such a commotion at the 1971 Geneva Motor Show. The Countach presented here, chassis number 1120172, is the 86th first-generation LP 400 Periscopio produced. Finished in the striking shade of Blu Tahiti over a Tobacco leather interior, with air conditioning and two external rearview mirrors, it was completed on 22 December 1975. The car was then delivered to Carrie Eugene, the official Lamborghini dealer and importer in Canada, on 29 January 1976. The Countach’s first owner was Paul Marshall, of Toronto, Ontario. Though a paraplegic, Marshall did not let his disability stop him from enjoying his new Countach. He had hand controls installed and drove the car frequently around his native Toronto, where the spaceship-like Countach was an otherworldly sight during the waning days of disco. The car’s second custodian, also a resident of Toronto, purchased the Countach from Paul Marshall through a friend in the early 1990s. He continued to use the car regularly for the next few years before placing it into static storage, following a full restoration. The Lamborghini was properly stored in a climate-controlled facility, with the fluids drained, and there it remained for the next 20 years. After nearly two decades of storage, the Countach was awoken from its slumber and brought back to life by a Lamborghini specialist in Toronto. It was then taken to the renowned Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in 2013 and quickly earned the judges’ admiration, placing second in a hotly contested Lamborghini class. Two years later, the Countach featured in an episode of Jerry Seinfeld's “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” along with fellow comedian Jim Carrey. Acquired by the consignor in 2017, this spectacular Countach remains in beautiful condition with its factory-correct Blu Tahiti exterior over a wonderfully crafted replacement interior in biscuit leather. Incredibly well preserved in a highly attractive specification, there is no doubt that this exceptional LP 400 is ready for further concours events and enjoyment on the open road. It is simply one of the finest examples of the vaunted “Periscopio,” the purest and most desirable of all Countach models. 1976 Lamborghini Countach LP 400 RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer.
