The two-door Alfa Romeo Giulia GT coupé, widely known to the public as the Alfa Bertone, complemented the four-door Alfa Romeo Giulia saloon from 1963 to 1975. The GT, with its distinctive body designed by Bertone, was available over the years with engines ranging from 1.3 to 2.0 liters. To differentiate between the models, Alfa Romeo used additional designations such as Sprint, Junior, Veloce and GTV seemingly at random. The body of the Giulia GT was created in Bertone's Turin studio under the direction of its head of design, Giorgetto Giugiaro. A special design feature of the early GT models is the horizontal gap between the front apron and the bonnet, which looks like an edge. In view of this, the GTs of the early years are also called ‘edge bonnet’. The 1750 GT Veloce, introduced in 1968, was the first GT to feature a redesigned front end without the edge; at the same time, the indicators were moved from the wing edges to the front of the car under the radiator grille. With the exception of the GTA, all other GT models also received the smooth front end until 1972. The edge bonnet GT with 1.3-litre engine offered here was first registered in Italy on 19 February 1970. The history of this attractive coupé is unknown. Several years ago, the GT 1300 Junior was presumably restored and finally taken over by the consignor in 2018 and imported to Switzerland in 2019. Since then, it has spent most of its time in the consignor's museum and has rarely been driven. The Alfa is currently in very good condition, with a sound body, beautiful paintwork and an almost immaculate light beige faux leather interior. The last veteran was completed in March 2024. 1970 Alfa Romeo GT 1300 Junior Oldtimer Galerie International GmbH If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1989 Porsche 930
Original Dutch delivered Porsche 930 Turbo 3.3 liter with 5-Speed gearbox (G50) Delivered new by Porsche Centrum Eindhoven Special Paint to sample color: Satin black metallic with all-leather black interior 1 of 797 units built This Porsche 930 is in absolute new condition… perfected in detail by the previous owner The Porsche 911 Turbo is admired by many for being the one and only supercar suitable for everyday use. Building on the 911 mantra, the Turbo seamlessly blends functionality with performance and takes it to a new level by adding explosive power, eye-catching design features and advanced technology to the mix. It’s the ultimate all-rounder 911 with style and elegance in droves. It is a model of mythical proportions and was the fastest production car on the market at the time. Like the 911 itself, the Porsche Turbo has experienced consistent evolution over its 43-year production run, rather than total revolution. This is especially true of the Turbo’s early years, when it was more commonly referred to by its internal model designation of ”930” from 1975 to 1989. In those 14 years, the 930 evolved from a fast performance weapon to a somewhat more advanced supercar. Over the years she got faster, of course, but the Turbo also became more efficient and easier to drive. From its humbler beginnings as a 3.0-litre four-speed ”whale tale” rated at 260bhp in the 1970s, the 930 had morphed into an intercooled 3.3-litre with a power of 300 hp. In its last year of production, 1989, the 930 received a 5-speed gearbox. That is why the 930s produced in 1989 are the most sought after. The five-speed gearbox makes better use of the explosive power of the Turbo. 1989 Porsche 930 JamesEdition B.V. If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1987 Lotus Turbo Esprit
Auto Storica is pleased to announce the sale of this spectacular Lotus Turbo Esprit The English brand, known for manufacturing the lightest sports cars, wanted in the 80s to compete with the best brands in the world. And the play turned out perfectly. The Turbo Esprit offers top-level equipment in a luxurious package, as demonstrated by the quality of its cabin covered in the highest quality leather in its entirety. But that did not mean it lost the Lotus essence. Its 2,200cc 4-cylinder engine delivers 218hp, enough to move its low weight and accelerate as fast as a contemporary Porsche 911 with 100 more hp. Its bodywork, designed by Giugiaro, is originally painted black with gold lines, recalling the legendary JPS livery of the brand's single-seaters. Our unit, which has undergone a thorough inspection, including the tuning of its carburetors, is in optimal operating condition, as you can see in the video above. The Esprit Turbo is a perfect car for those who like to enjoy the purest driving without losing an ounce of glamor or exclusivity. 1987 Lotus Turbo Esprit Auto Storica If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1961-alfa-romeo-giulietta-sz-coda-tronca
Athletically specified and beautifully bodied with lightweight aluminum coachwork by Zagato, the series-built Alfa Romeo Sprint Speciale-based Sprint Zagato (SZ) was one of the most potent racing berlinettas of the early 1960s. Only approximately 216 examples were built, of which just the final 41 cars featured a truncated “Coda Tronca” Kamm tail and front disc brakes. The featured car is one of two SZ examples (along with chassis number 0201) that were shipped to the American marque subsidiary in Newark, New Jersey, for competition use by the nascent Martini & Rossi Racing Team. These two special Alfa Romeos are widely believed to be the very first cars fielded by Martini & Rossi, commencing one of motorsports’ most legendary sponsorships. Completed in October 1961, chassis number 0200 was finished in Rosso Alfa paint, as confirmed by Alfa Romeo documentation on file. After arrival to the US the fenders were adorned with script reading “Martini & Rossi Racing Team,” as the brand’s iconic racing livery had yet to be devised. Driver Paul Richards finished 2nd in class at the Daytona Continental 3-Hours in February 1962, just two places behind teammate Charlie Kolb, who won the 1.3-liter class in the sister car. The SZ then successfully completed the 12 Hours of Sebring a month later, and the car also finished 3rd in class (5th overall) at the under-2-liter race at the Bridgehampton 400 KM in September. At the end of the year the Alfa Romeo was likely one of the two Sprint Zagatos driven by Kolb and Richards at the Bahamas Speed Week. Earlier model registers and former owner’s notes on file suggest that the original Facetti-prepared 1300 engine was replaced with a 1600 Veloce-spec motor in preparation for the 1963 Sebring, although it appears the cars never arrived to compete. The Alfa Romeo was then sold to ex-Alfa Romeo-US employee Joe Amato, after which the car passed through a short chain of six dedicated American owners before being acquired in 2016 by the consignor. Properly restored under the consignor’s stewardship, the Sprint Zagato is equipped with a correct AR00120-series engine properly aspirated with two sidedraft twin-choke Weber 40 DCOE/2 carburetors. Also featuring correct retrimmed seats, the handsomely presented SZ has accrued only approximately 1,000 miles since refurbishment, and it would make an excellent companion for vintage racing or display at concours d’elegance and marque gatherings—stunning in every regard. 1961 Alfa Romeo Giulietta SZ ‘Coda Tronca’ RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1983-mercedes-benz-280-sl-r107
The SL 107 series, which was launched in 1971 as the successor to the so-called ‘Pagoda’ (Mercedes-Benz W113), established a new design line at Mercedes-Benz with its wide-band H4 headlights and large ribbed rear lights. A successor model was developed in the early 1980s but was shelved in favour of the mid-range W124 and W201 series. As a result, the R107 series remained on the market for a total of 18 years. Our 280 SL was delivered new to Switzerland and first registered on 30 March 1983, probably as a demonstration vehicle, by the Mercedes dealership Auto Kaiser AG in Zug. It was delivered to its first private owner on 4 January 1984. With automatic transmission, anthracite Nappa leather interior, power windows, central door locking, ABS and alloy wheels, the signal red convertible was very well equipped. In 2003, with around 71’000 km on the clock, the R107 changed hands to its second owner, who only covered around 7’000 km with the Mercedes over the next 15 years and ensured it was regularly serviced. In July 2018, the 280 SL was taken over by the consignor with 78’533 km on the clock. As the available receipts show, he also took conscientious care of his beloved convertible. Among other things, all three PVC rear windows were replaced in 2021, a new water pump was installed in 2022, the rear brake discs and pads were replaced in 2023, and the solenoid valve of the heating system was replaced in 2025. Numerous receipts dating back to 2003 are available and will be handed over with the vehicle. With 91’000 km on the clock, a complete service history, hardtop (which can be collected by the buyer from the consignor) and soft top, the Mercedes is in very good and extremely well-maintained original condition. The last veteran MOT took place in October 2024, so the R107 can be registered immediately. A must-have for any collector of the Stuttgart-Untertürkheim brand. 1983 Mercedes-Benz 280 SL R107 Oldtimer Galerie International GmbH If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - Maserati A6GCS – Monofaro
The Maserati A6GCS is the last true Maserati. In 1947 the Maserati brothers Ernesto, Bindo and Ettore, now released from their contract with the Orsi family packed up their tools and left to form OSCA with their sights set on building lightweight, fast racing cars. Before they left however, they had time for one last masterpiece, the Maserati A6GCS Series I. Designed in conjunction with lead technical engineer Alberto Massimo, the car was officially called the 2000 Sport after the powerful 1978cc straight-6 under the bonnet. Styled by Medando Fantuzzi, the Monofaro or single headlight was initially designed to have a coupé body but the Maserati brothers, forever focussed on weight saving instructed Fantuzzi to design a lighter “Siluro” or torpedo body featuring cycle-wing fenders to protect the open wheels during racing. The Maserati brothers, perhaps aware this was the last car they would design for the company that bore their name, paid particular attention to the development of the Monofaro. The car was a mechanical masterpiece featuring double wishbone suspension across a low-slung tubular frame chassis with the engine mounted to a 4-speed gearbox. The resulting car was a force to be reckoned with, taking the fight to the more powerful Ferraris also racing at the time. The Monofaro raced predominantly in Formula 2 races where the greats such as Alberto Ascari, Stirling Moss and Tazio Nuvolari battled week in, week out at race meetings all over Europe. The first Monofaromade its debut in 1947 at a Modena sports car race where Ascari and Luigi Villoresi came first and second. In 1948 Maserati Monofaro chassis number 2007 left the Modena factory gates and began its racing career as a works factory car. The car competed on behalf of the Maserati team in European races before being renumbered by the factory in 1949 to chassis 2010 as was a fairly regular occurrence in period. However, by this time the factory had begun development of the A6GCS Series 2 and so sold the car to an Italian businessman named Giuseppe Vianini. Before WWII Giuseppe Vianini had established a successful business in Argentina as a motorcycle dealer and through his business became involved with AC Argentina Equipe who sponsored promising Argentinian racing drivers to come to Europe. One such driver they sponsored was Juan Manuel Fangio who had proven himself on dirt and gravel long-distance races across South America. These races were far removed from the Grand Prix races held in Europe which were considered the pinnacle of competition racing and so in 1947 Fangio moved to Europe to continue his racing career. Having seen Fangio race in South America Guiseppe Vianini was eager to get the young Argentinian into his Monofaro and began leveraging his contacts with AC Equipe Europe to get Fangio into his Monofaro. For the 1949 Rome Formula 2 race Fangio lined up in chassis 2010 against the dominant Ferrari 166Cs. In reality the Ferraris were always going to win with double the cylinder count but the Maseratis of Fangio and Benedicto Campos provided the only credible opposition. For the 1952 season Vianini, eager to get involved with the South American Maserati dealer network imported the A6GCS to Argentina where he sold the car to Carlos Lostaló. Lostaló continued to race chassis 2010 in the local races around Buenos Aires. At some point in the early ‘50s Lostaló removed the engine and gearbox from “2010” and fitted a Ford V8 engine and continued to race the car throughout the 1950s. The original engine and gearbox went into storage. The car we offer here is a hand-crafted Maserati A6GCS Monofarofeaturing a Siluro body fitted with the original engine and gearbox from chassis 2010, the car driven by 5-time Formula One World champion Juan Manuel Fangio. The engine and gearbox lay in storage for a considerable length of time before being acquired by the car’s current owner who himself stored the drivetrain until recently deciding to commission a replica chassis and body around the original engine. Since arriving in the UK the car has been prepared by expert historic racing specialists and is now ready to be enjoyed either on the race track or on the road. The car is clearly an important piece of motorsport history and represents a rare opportunity not only to own a car once driven by El Maestro but also to experience the masterpiece that is the last true Maserati. Available now for immediate inspection. Maserati A6GCS – Monofaro The Classic Motor Hub If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1970 Abarth 1300 Scorpione
What is light, nimble, sexy and will sting when you’re not paying attention? – Abarth’s Sorpion. Giuseppe Rinaldi created the Abarth Milletrecento Scorpione with Carrozzeria Francis Bombardi of Vercelli. We can already feel our moustache and need for espresso and gas! Based on the Fiat 850, the Scorpione was the last independent Abarth ever produced. It was presented in 1968 in Geneva, where quite a few drivers saw the potential in this venomous scorpion. After all, Abarth was one of the few manufacturers who offered racing support. When Fiat took over Abarth in ’71, production and support stopped. Since then the Scorpione is on the endangered-car species list and is only spotted in collections. Ours? Second collection also owner, no circuit yet. - 1995 Porsche 928 GTS
This 1995 Porsche 928 GTS is a stunning example from the final year of production that shows 12,390 miles at the time of cataloging. There is a “True Mileage Unknown” brand on the title, and we cannot guarantee the mileage, but judging by the usage and condition, we have no reason to believe it isn’t legitimate and is just a clerical error. Under the care of 4 owners, this 928 GTS was sold new in the San Francisco Bay Area and stayed in California for its first ten years. Finished in metallic Black, this GTS is immediately identifiable thanks to its unique front and rear bumpers, flared rear fenders, and attractive and purposeful rear wing. The wheels are a set of 17” Porsche Cup II Wheels, which fit the design perfectly. The interior shows the luxury focus of the 928, with a pair of comfortable supple leather seats in front, and two deeply recessed rear buckets behind them. The power-operated front seats are separated by a large center console, which features controls for the sun roof, an analog clock, the original Porsche cassette head unit, and HVAC with air conditioning. In front of the driver sits a 4-spoke airbag steering wheel with a gauge pod behind it featuring a 180 mph speedometer, oil pressure, water temperature and voltage gauges, as well as a digital odometer and trip computer. One of the unique features in the 928 is that when you adjust the steering wheel, the gauge pod moves with it, guaranteeing that whatever size you are, you will be able to read the gauges. The 928 GTS is powered by Porsche's largest motor—a 5.4-liter DOHC V8 with higher compression pistons that produces 345 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. Power is then sent to the rear wheels through a 4-speed automatic transaxle with a limited-slip differential. With 0-60 mph achievable in just 5.4 seconds and a top speed of nearly 170 mph, the 928 GTS was one of the fastest cars of the era and likely the fastest 4-seater available when it was new. The automatic may seem like an unnatural choice for this car, but as it was built as a sporty rival to cars like the W140 S-Class Coupe at the time, it makes more sense and is still plenty responsive and enjoyable to operate. Of the many updates made to the GTS, one of the most notable and needed is the “big black” front brakes. These help this luxury coupe slow from speed quickly and address one of the constant criticisms the 928 faced in years before. For a long time, the 928 was looked down upon as a lesser Porsche - it didn’t have the lightning-fast reflexes of a 911, yet it was not as luxurious and effortless as a newer Panamera. That being said, in recent years, collectors have come around to the transaxle luxury coupe and are beginning to realize that the 928 - especially in GTS trim- is not a car to ignore. Offering a wonderful mix of comfort, performance, and just the right amount of driver involvement, the 928 GTS is a worthy addition to any Porsche enthusiast’s garage. 1995 Porsche 928 GTS ISSIMI, Inc If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1963 Maserati Sebring 3500 GTi by Vignale
First offered in 1962 as a replacement for the flagship Maserati 3500 GTi, the Maserati Sebring is an elegant expression of mid-20th century Italian design. Named in recognition of the storied Bolognese manufacturer’s 1957 triumph at the 12 Hours of Sebring, the Sebring was designed to take full advantage of the open expanses and the smooth, modern freeway system of the U.S. market. Powering the car is a 3,485-cubic-centimeter, 235-horsepower inline six-cylinder engine shared with the 3500 GTi. The Sebring could accelerate to 60 mph in approximately 8.5 seconds and could achieve a top speed approaching 140 mph. Despite its impressive performance, the Sebring 3500 GTi is not a lightweight sports car in the classical sense; it is clearly a luxurious grand touring car with a comfortable and well-appointed “2+2” interior. Underlying the steel body and giving it strength was an all-new tubular steel frame, which also supported the independent dual wishbone front suspension, semi-elliptical rear leaf springs, and four-wheel disc brakes. Series I examples of the Sebring remain a rare, highly prized Maserati model, with just 348 built from 1962 to 1965. Chassis number AM101 01841 was completed in July of 1963 and delivered new to Milan, Italy. Built with the fuel-injected 3500 GTi engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission, it featured Grigio Montebello (Metallic Silver) paint and Pelle Nero (black leather) upholstery from the factory. The car was ordered on 2 August 1963 and later delivered through Cornacchia Automobili in Milan on 4 September 1963 to its first owner, Mrs. Elana Gelmi. Today, the car is finished in red over black leather. It has benefitted from over $80,000 in restoration work from 2015 to 2018, which included an engine rebuild, a rebuild and calibration of the fuel injection system, a rebuild of the starter and water pump, a rebuild of the clutch and pressure plate, as well as brake work. Cosmetic work included painting the car, re-chroming or polishing the brightwork, depending on condition, and the installation of new leather front seat covers, along with a custom leather console cover. Pirelli tires with Blockley tubes were also mounted on the Borrani wire wheels in this timeframe. The car is accompanied by a copy of the factory Maserati build record, a Maserati Historical Information Certificate, as well as owner’s manuals, and restoration invoices from 2015 to 2018. 1963 Maserati Sebring 3500 GTi by Vignale RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1962-jaguar-e-type-38-fhc-series-i
The Jaguar E-type was a performance landmark during the 1960s and even a standard car still feels fast today. This particular example, however, has been beautifully upgraded throughout and now offers an even more impressive driving experience. The Heritage Certificate in the history file confirms that chassis number 886653 was built at the Browns Lane factory on 21 August 1962. It was then dispatched on 30 August to Jaguar’s Swedish distributor, Fredlund in Stockholm, finished in Carmen Red with a Beige interior. More recently, the E-type returned to the UK in need of a complete restoration. Its owner commissioned a rebuild that would turn it into a comfortable, reliable and fast long-distance tourer, and its huge specification is testament to how every detail was considered. Having been completely stripped down, it was converted to right-hand drive and gained alloy doors, boot panel and bonnet. New rear wheelarches were fabricated that were wider than standard, in order to cover the more substantial 245/60 rear tyres. At the front, 225/65 tyres were specified, and all round the E-type now sports split-rim alloy wheels in the style of the famous Dunlop rims used by Jaguar during the 1950s and ’60s. Extended louvres were let into the aluminium bonnet in order to improve cooling, and work in tandem with an alloy radiator, electric cooling fan and a high-flow water pump. It’s running on fuel injection with Jenvey throttle bodies, with a tubular stainless-steel exhaust manifold, an upgraded alternator and electronic ignition. A spin-off oil filter has been fitted, too. The braking system features four-pot calipers front and rear, with Aeroquip hoses, while the standard gearbox has been replaced with a five-speed unit – a popular E-type upgrade. An alloy fuel tank was installed, while the suspension is adjustable and a rear anti-roll bar has been fitted. The quality of the interior matches the specification elsewhere. Upgraded seats have been installed, along with a DAB radio and a smaller wood-rimmed steering wheel. The windscreen is heated and LED lighting was fitted. The finishing touch was a stunning respray in the modern Jaguar shade of Portofino Blue, and this spectacular E-type is being offered for sale with a photographic record of its painstaking build. It comes with a car cover and represents a brilliantly individual take on this ever-popular classic. 1962 Jaguar E-Type 3.8 FHC Series I The Classic Motor Hub If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer.
