  • 1964 Alfa Romeo Ti Super

What is the sporty version of a sports sedan? To a race car, that goes without saying. That's exactly what the Giulia Ti Super is, which takes the qualities of the 1900 Ti Super to the extreme by pushing the concept to the extreme: lightweight bodywork, a vitamin engine, a more rigid low-profile chassis and 189 km/h top speed. Built to only 501 units over two years, the most desired - and falsified! - of Giulia is nowadays extremely rare. We have found one of the authentic copies still in circulation. It is under its Italian name, Quadrifoglio, that ti super will be universally known. Paraphrasing what Heny Ford said about the Model T: the Giulia Ti Super was delivered in any color, as long as it was white. Of the 501 units produced, only two had another shade: *595135* red, and *595416* grey. It is necessary to immerse oneself in the nomenclature of the Alfa Romeo of the Glorious Thirty to better understand the specificity of this car. If the term "Super" refers to a rich version and "Ti" (Turismo internazionale) to a sporty one, what is the meaning of "Ti Super"? A luxury model with a doped engine? Lost! Lost! In this case, "Super" does not indicate a level of finish, but reinforces the sporty side suggested by the acronym Ti. A "super sports car" in short. The 1900, whose Super had 90 hp and the Ti 100 and Ti Super 115 hp, had already been designed in this way. At the launch of the Giulia on 27 June 1962, Alfa Romeo understood that it had a very interesting asset to highlight the idea of the "family sedan that wins races", a slogan that had accompanied, not without success, the release of the 1900. More powerful than the Giulietta, much more agile than the 2600 6-cylinder, which indirectly took over from the 1900, the Giulia is designed to seduce with its original and aerodynamic design well ahead of a competition that, at best, is inspired by the Americans, like Fiat and its 1300/1500. On April 24, 1963, Alfa Romeo added spice to its recipe by unveiling the Ti Super on the Monza racetrack. Its engine is more or less identical to that of the Giulia SS, the 1.6-litre version of the old Giulietta SS designed and produced by Bertone. Despite a slightly different power supply, it will deliver the same power as the coupé, 113 hp, compared to the Giulia Ti's 90. Designed for a truly sporty clientele that intends to engage it in competition more than for eager bourgeoisie, the newcomer takes back the four-leaf clover that brought luck to the racing Alfa Romeo in the 1920s. In order to support a relatively large increase in power, detailed modifications cause the car to lose about 100 kg. Two AV headlights were removed - the central torque having been replaced by a grille -, the Campagnolo alloy wheels, and the bumpers got rid of their bananas. The interior, revised by Zagato, is being renewed: buckets act as front seats, the steering wheel has three arms, the handset has three round instruments, the part facing the passenger is more basic - just like the storm doors -, the lever is fixed to the floor and the hand brake, initially under the dashboard, is now positioned between the seats. While the first models feature drums with three self-adjusting jaws at the front, from September onwards, when production actually begins, the Ti Super switches to the four discs. More powerful and lighter, the Quadrifoglio travels at 189 km/h when the Ti locks the needle of its tachometer on 169. A small "pitfall", it costs one arm: 2.62 million lire, almost the price of a 2600 sedan and 62% more than a Ti. The replacement of the internal headlamp torque by grilles allows, on the left to cool the exhaust manifold, on the right to increase the air flow to the carburettors. Other elements specific to the Ti Super include bumpers without bananas to limit weight and a monogram identical to the one mounted at the rear You're not in a sedan, but in a competition car: bucket seats have a fixed backrest with little padding, but their edges make them sufficiently enveloping. Although his commercial career proved to be more than modest since it remained in production for only a year and a half and disappeared from the catalogue in April 1965, his sporting career was brilliant: already in 1963, pending approval in the Tourism category (which would arrive on 13 January 1964), individuals engaged him in track, hill racing or rally competitions. The preparers who work on the Quadrifoglio are among the most renowned in the industry: Samuele Baggioli, Almo Bosato or Virgilio Conrero. At the 1964 Coppa Intereuropa in Monza, the three Ti Super by Ernesto Prinoth, Roberto Bussinello and Ugo Bagnasacco dominated their class. From the Alps to Sicily, these cars perform well in Trieste-Opicina, CesanaSestrières and Catania-Etna. Not to mention the two Frenchmen, Fernand Masoero and Jean Maurin, who won their category and finished fourth in the scratch behind three 3-litre Ferrari 250s during the 12th Tour de France Auto in September 1963. The following year, Andrea De Adamich won the Coppa d'Autunno and Giancarlo Baghetti won the Coppa Europa, both of which were run at the Monza Autodrome. Although often put in difficulty by the Ford Cortina Lotus, the Quadrifoglio continued to exist until 1966 in France, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, the United States, Brazil, Argentina and Australia The Ti Super has lowered suspensions, but Alfa Romeo never indicated the difference in ground clearance between it and the Giulia Ti. As with any Giulia, the box is simply perfect. It is well spaced (the gears are identical to Ti), very well guided and the lever movements are short and fast. The steering is so precise that you'd think it was a rack-and-pinion steering. The car is also very well braked: its four Dunlop discs combined with a power brake booster (licence, justified, from the owner) are reassuring and easy to use at high speed. It swallows the curves with the greatest speed and without the slightest understeer: when you run at a speed... of Giulia, it remains neutral. If you ask it to be a Quadrifoglio, it starts fiercely from the rear and you have to forget the brakes and drive on the throttle by correcting the steering wheel This car, chassis AR 595203, exterior color: Biancospino, equipped with "Freni a disco", was sold new in France by S.O.F.A.R. on February 19, 1964 to an enthusiast in Nice (517 MR 06). It had a second owner in the Var on August 14, 1969 (2471 QC 83). Remaining in the Var, it was acquired by Mr. DALMASSO on August 14, 1969. It arrived in the Paris region on September 29, 1972, in the hands of Monsieur Charles LEANDRE (1068 YP 75). It found a new buyer in the Yvelines region on August 13, 1973 (7572N JX 78), in the person of Mr. JIMENEZ (SNCF employee). It was at this time that the current owner came across the car when it was taken over by the garage Sté NOUVELLE M.S.S.A. on January 19, 1976, of which he was an employee, and sold to the pilot Fernand MASOERO on July 10, 1976 (three-part certificate, no transfer of registration). The current owner acquired the car in September 1999. Never mishandled, and extremely original, the car has been in the care of recognized professionals for many years. Gerard LANVIN of LOV Auto rebuilt the engine 10 years ago, and the bucket seats, so specific to the brand, were restored a few years ago, in original fabric. The car has never been in an accident, and still has all its original features, including the steering wheel, intake horn, Alfa Romeo logo on the bumper and original magnesium wheels. It's rare to find such a well-preserved Alfa Romeo Ti Super these days. 1964 Alfa Romeo Ti Super Historic Cars If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. The 1970 Lancia Fulvia Rallye 1600 HF "Fanalone" holds a remarkable place in rally history and automotive engineering, representing the pinnacle of Lancia’s Fulvia lineup and Italian rally car design of the era. Named “Fanalone” (meaning "big headlights" in Italian) for its oversized lights, this model is revered for its success in rallying under FIA Group 4 and is the most desirable Fulvia variant. Car Cave has extensive experience with Fulvias, having serviced and sold many over the years. This example drives exceptionally well, with a smooth-shifting transmission and excellent start-up, making it a sheer joy to drive. Records show that this Fulvia spent most of its life in the sunny, dry climate of Sicily, which has preserved it beautifully. Finished in red with a subtle blue and yellow racing stripe, it features a black interior with original wood-grain finishes. This 1.6 HF has the look, stance, and feel to thrill any petrolhead. The period-correct 175/70R13 Pirelli Cinturato tires wrap around original 13” alloy wheels, and a full-size spare, tool kit, and jack are included in the trunk. Inside, a dog-leg 5-speed gearbox complements Veglia gauges for Olio (oil pressure) and Acqua (coolant temperature), Benzina (fuel) are located next to the tach and speedometer. In front of the passenger mounted in the woodgrain dash is a Temp Olio gauge to monitor oil temperatures. enhancing the car’s authentic Italian charm. The previous owner, a collector with a substantial car collection, spared no expense in making this Fanalone the best driving example on the road. He initially purchased the Fulvia for $97,000 on Valentine’s Day 2018 and invested almost $90,000 in a comprehensive mechanical overhaul throughout his years of ownership. Detailed receipts are available for review upon request. The Automotoclub Storico Italiano (ASI) registration placard, proudly displayed in the rear window, adds to its provenance. Our Italian Lancia expert has verified that this is a documented, numbers-matching example, and the full registration file is included in the sale. Originally registered on May 5, 1970, in Trapani, Sicily, under Omodeo Russo Salvatore's ownership, the Fulvia was actively used, as shown by annual tax stamps over the decades of Sicilian ownership. It changed hands several times, including a transfer to Mirko Mangano in Palermo in 1998. Car Cave recently visited Palermo and can verify the weather is both hot and dry, perfect for preserving old Italian treasures. Beyond regular use, this Fulvia has lived through classic Sicilian racing events and participated in some classic enthusiasts driving events as evidenced by rally stickers. This was not utilized any sanctioned racing events or has a FIA registration. The 64th Targa Florio Rally in March 1980, one of Italy’s most iconic races is shown on the vehicle. The 65th Targa Florio Rally in March 1981, was a local event as this vehicle lived in Sicily where many 1.6HF Fulvias were featured. The Trofeo Florio 2000 on June 17-18, 2000, is featured on the coupe but race records show there were Fulvias entered but no 1.6 HF models participated in the race event The 1st Ronde Terre Sicane on April 23, 2006, another Sicilian rally event celebrating the region’s rally heritage. After more than 4 decades in Italy, the Fulvia was deregistered in 2015 and imported to the U.S. by Mr. Shraga of Scarsdale, NY. It was sold by Mid Century Motoring to a collector in Austin, TX, on Valentine’s Day 2018, where it remained for 6.5 years before being acquired by Car Cave. This numbers-matching Fulvia, boasting a recent comprehensive mechanical overhaul, is a rare and celebrated piece of Italian automotive history. Recently, we completed a lengthy road trip and a full mechanical review to certify this Fulvia as road or rally-ready. This example, with its documented journey from Italy to the U.S. and careful ownership record, is now ready for a new enthusiast to continue its storied legacy. Origins and Rally Pedigree The Lancia Fulvia Rallye 1600 HF emerged during the height of rallying in the late 1960s and early 1970s, as Lancia pursued motorsport dominance. Building on the original Fulvia design, Lancia crafted a rally-focused variant capable of handling the most rugged rally stages. The Rallye 1600 HF, with "HF" (High Fidelity) reserved for its performance-oriented models, became a rally icon. Homologated under FIA Group 4 regulations, it featured a 1.6-liter V4 engine with high-compression pistons, large carburetors, and optimized camshafts, achieving impressive power for its size. Lightweight construction, achieved through aluminum panels and a simplified interior, further enhanced its agility. Technical Advancements The Fanalone’s transverse-mounted V4 engine and close-ratio 5-speed gearbox provided exceptional balance and control. The suspension included independent front suspension and a rear beam axle, finely tuned for rallying. Equipped with Dunlop calipers and Girling discs, the brakes delivered reliable stopping power for demanding rally stages, while the V4 engine produced approximately 132 horsepower—a substantial output for a compact rally car of its era. The oversized headlights, designed for improved visibility in nighttime stages, paired with a lowered stance, reflect both rally functionality and Italian design heritage. Racing Legacy and Triumphs The Rallye 1600 HF quickly became a success, elevating Lancia’s reputation in motorsports. Its crowning achievement was in 1972, when it helped secure the International Championship for Manufacturers (predecessor to the World Rally Championship) for Lancia, laying the foundation for future legends like the Stratos and Delta Integrale. Collectibility and Legacy With its motorsport pedigree, advanced engineering, and Italian design flair, the Fanalone is one of the most sought-after rally cars among collectors. Limited production numbers—and even fewer in the “Fanalone” configuration—add to its allure. For rally car enthusiasts and collectors, the Fanalone is a pinnacle of Italian racing history, combining heritage, performance, and unique character. Today, well-preserved examples like this one, with a numbers-matching engine and extensive recent mechanical refurbishment, are rare treasures, embodying the glory days of Lancia’s rally success and the charm of Italian motorsport engineering. 1970 Lancia Fulvia Rallye 1600 HF "Fanalone" Car Cave USA If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1958-lancia-appia-gtz-prototipo

The Lancia Appia Zagato is a one-off car produced since 1956, with the parent Appia “cammello,” which got its name from the various humps on the roof and hoods, typical of Zagato. Later, production continued with the various GTs, which unlike the first one built, had only two humps on the roof and two fins on the rear fenders. The mechanics were the same as the standard Lancia Appia, but had a more powerful engine. The GTs, or long wheelbase cars, were built until December 1958, later making way for the GTE. During their production, however, three prototypes were in turn bodied, specifically chassis 1875,2130 and 2131. They were different from the other cars in the same series. Aesthetically they had a very similar front to an Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Veloce Zagato, while the rear was the same of the following Alfa Romeo Giulietta SZ round tail. Given the race usage of the car, the interior was typical Zagato but the only one with double slits (seat and back). The windows except for the windshield were all lexan. Noticeable is the absence of the heater, the Nardi steering wheel and the oversized fuel tank. After all these peculiarities it can be deduced that these were three prototypes set up just for racing. This Lancia Appia GT Zagato is the first of the three prototypes built and the only one that survived, that is the 1875 chassis. It was built in April 1958 and the first owner was Elio Zagato himself and this was his personal car. This was unusual, since usually, the cars “Bred” raced with were all registered to Carrozzeria La Zagato. He used it to run a few races and then sold it the following year. The car passed through various hands, such as Francesco Prioglio and Edoardo Doratti, also drivers and both from Trieste. Then in 1961 it raced with the Brescian driver and tuner Domenico Ogna and ceased its sporting activity that very year, wandering then to Rome and arriving in Pistoia where in 1975 it ended up in the hands of a collector and gentleman driver who used it in historic car races until 1981, later being parked in a garage until 2023. Over the years the car has put together the following palmarès: 1958 Coppa San Marino – Elio Zagato 6 Ore Esso Vallelunga – Elio Zagato Trento Bondone – Elio Zagato Giro delle Calabrie – Elio Zagato Coppa Intereuropa – Elio Zagato 1959 Stallavena Boscohiesanuova – Francesco Prioglio Coppa San Marino – Francesco Prioglio Coppa S. And its condition is totally restored. The interior is still the original, preserved, with the addition of the fire extinguisher, as per the 80′ historic car racing regulations. Despite it has raced at least 21 races, this Appia still mounts its original equipment engine. Mechanically functioning, however, it needs a general overhaul though. The car has Italian license plates and documents. Out of gallery 1958 Lancia Appia Gtz Prototipo Andrea Nannetti If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1972-bmw-2002tii

This particular example, Chassis # 2760847, is an early 1972 BMW 2002 tii, finished in Colorado orange over a black interior featuring the optional “Skai upholstery”. It was purchased through Otto’s Imported Cars in Eddystone, PA, with other options including XAS tires, reclining seats, anti-freeze, and a Hirschman Antenna. All of these brought the car’s final price to $4,450.45, up from the original $4,286 MSRP. The 2002’s first owner, a Mr. Rhodes Vessels, enjoyed the car until sometime in 1982 and frequently took it back to Otto’s Imported Cars for servicing and routine maintenance. Mr. George Whiteman, the second owner, and also a PA resident, continued caring for the car as Mr. Vessels had, frequently taking it to various shops and mechanics to keep it on the road. The service records under Mr. Whiteman stop sometime in 1986, and start again in 1990 under a Mr. Lee Perry. It is unclear when Mr. Perry parted with the BMW, but the service records on file resume in 2000 under Paula and Josh Humphries and continue until 2004. Which brings us to the most recent owner, from whom we acquired the car. They purchased it from the fourth owner in 2006 and drove it briefly before placing it in storage, where it has remained ever since with the intent to complete a total restoration. As it sits, the car is an ideal restoration candidate given the spec and completeness of its history. Remarkably complete and with a wealth of historical documents to establish its provenance this tii variant of the 2002 is the one worthy of a proper restoration. Upon purchase, the new owner will receive the original owner’s manuals, the original order sheet and window sticker, and all of the service records on file. 1972 BMW 2002TII LBI Limited If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. This rare and early Daytona Spyder is the 33rd Scaglietti Spyder produced. Experts at the Ferrari Owners Club have suggested this is the first US version factory built Spyder constructed and given the December 1971 manufacturing date and timing for the first owner’s purchase, this is very likely accurate. According to the Ferrari Warranty Card accompanying this car, this Spyder was originally delivered to Dr. Baldhard Falk, Tiburon, CA on March 2, 1972, subsequently titled as a 1972 model year car. In April 1970, Dr. Falk visited Ferrari and had grown familiar with the company and their cars. Prior to his purchase of this Daytona Spyder, he had owned a Ferrari 330GTS, but experienced difficulties with the performance. Armed with legal representation, the good doctor approached Ferrari with a resolution. They agreed to apply the prior equity of the 330 towards the purchase of a new Daytona Spyder. At the time of his visit, Dr. Falk was offered the prototype Spyder that was just finishing construction; however, he elected to not purchase it as the prototypical construction was not deemed appropriate for track days with local owners, something that Dr. Falk had intended to do. A copy of the invoice from the selling dealer Modern Classic Motors, Reno, NV indicates the car was delivered to Dr. Falk in Giallo Dino with Beige upholstery, just as he had requested, however some interior color and convertible top material details were not correct which were corrected for Falk by Ferrari. Additionally, Falk found that the paint was not up to his discerning standards and thus it was resprayed. After the items were corrected to his satisfaction, Dr. Falk exercised the car in a handful of Ferrari Owners Club events including Virginia City Hill Climbs, Sears Point Raceway, and at Laguna Seca in 1978. It was this last event where the car lost a rear right wheel causing cosmetic body damage to the rear inner wheel arch, rear fender area, and windshield post. Comforted by the fact that the damage was not serious, Dr. Falk elected to halt further event participation, turning his attention instead to restoring the car to a high standard, efforts of which were confined primarily to the body, paint, and interior features. Copies of service invoices include a 1979 invoice for door seals, speedo cable, trunk seal, new windshield molding, and other trim parts as part of the sourcing for the restoration. This invoice is consistent with a 1979 Crevier Imports, Anaheim, CA invoice for additional mechanical work and an invoice for body and paint work performed by Bill de Carr also in 1979 refinishing the car in red ($11,000.00 – quite the sum in 1979). A letter from Dr. Falk, addressed to the second owner, included with the car explains that the restoration was done retaining all the original body panels and original factory trim, and great care was performed to preserve the factory metal. The restoration continued with new exhaust, upholstery work, chrome plating, detailing the engine compartment, and a new German cloth sport top installed as well that same year. In 1982, Dr. Falk purchased a set of new Borrani wire wheels which were mounted on the car. Thoughtfully the original wheels were retained. By the mid 1980s, Falk continued his ownership with regular service to the restored Spyder including oil changes, gas tank repair, new upper and lower front ball joints, and stabilizer bushings and continued efforts refining mechanical details. In 1988, Dr. Falk was invited to display the car at the Emilia-Romagna Concours d’Elegance, San Francisco, CA where it won a commemorative medal. In 1990 the car was offered for sale by Falk. At that time, the car reportedly indicated 31,000 miles. Still remaining under Falk’s ownership, in 1995 with 31,643 miles indicated, a new set of front springs were installed at Ferrari of San Francisco with subsequent mechanical work performed through the year 2000. In 2003, Mohr Imports received the car from Falk where it was extensively serviced and prepared for sale. Under Mohr’s care, the brake calipers were rebuilt, cam cover gaskets replaced, hoses replaced, a new heater valve diaphragm installed, and a very complete and correct interior including correct mousehair was supplied by Luppi, Modena and installed in the car. Additional mechanical services while with Mohr included other mechanical services as noted in the service receipts included with the car. The next owner purchased the car in 2004 from Mohr Imports, becoming the second owner of record. After purchasing this car from the original owner, the second owner retained this Daytona Spyder for 20 years. Under his ownership, the car was regularly serviced by Ferrari specialists in the Chicago, IL area including regular fluids, brakes, and overall maintenance, as well as bench rebuilding for all six carburetors (2017). Services in July 2023 included an oil and filter change, cooling system flush, new thermostat, new upper radiator hose, new radiator cap, brake fluid flush, new fuel filter, new tie rod, new speedometer cable, and four new Michelin XWX 215/70 VR15 radial tires. In 2023, the car was consigned to Fantasy Junction and, in preparation for sale, work was performed in September and October 2023 by Patrick Ottis including reconditioning the suspension, rebuilding the Koni shocks, rebuilding the water pump and replacement of the oil seal and gaskets, and repair work to the smog pump. The current owner purchased this car in 2024, repainted it in period correct black, installed a new top, and detailed the car to a high standard. In preparation for sale, Patrick Ottis installed new front tie rod ends. Current Condition and Presentation Today this Scaglietti Daytona Spyder presents in stunning condition. The current owner, a vintage performance car collector and enthusiast has properly maintained the car under his ownership including a mirror finish black respray. The finish is high gloss, smooth, and reflects the quality of the original body panels. The exterior detailing throughout the car is exceptional. The various exterior trim and emblems are beautifully finished, including crisp body line detail, nicely finished door jambs, excellent glass, detailed inner jambs and underside hood/trunk surfaces. Chrome and polished metal finishes are also in excellent condition. All openings function as expected with tight closures and excellent panel gaps to the doors, hood, and trunk. All four Borrani center hub wire wheels are polished and fitted with correctly sized Michelin XWX 215/70 VR15 tires. The interior is in exceptionally fine condition. Having been comprehensively reupholstered in 2003 using experts Luppi, Modena, Italy, all interior leather, carpet, console, door panels, and dash pad mousehair were hand cut and stitched using high quality tan leather, correct carpet, leather covered center console, tan door panels, and the correct fine finish mousehair for the dash pad. The Daytona seats, now famous for the black perforated banding, are correctly finished. The stitching and bolster structure are both excellent and deliver a striking visual presence to the elegant tan leather interior. The mousehair dashboard is in like new condition, accented by beautiful instruments, aluminum trim, preserved factory correct switches, and a three spoke steering wheel with central Ferrari logo. The factory air conditioning controls are correct though the air conditioning is currently not blowing cold. The tan leather console and door panels are taut, showing excellent fit, crisp corners, and beautiful stitching. The convertible top is essentially new, having been installed under current ownership. The correct low pile wool carpet is also in excellent condition, creating a handsome contrast to the darker material accents. The interior presentation offers a very cohesive high-quality feel from the materials to the fit and finishes. Another rarely seen feature of the Spyder is the addition of retractable “pull down” sun visor screens, which are unique to the Spyder design and operate freely on both sides. The engine bay and engine have been correctly prepared and properly detailed to a high standard. The engine block is stamped with the correctly sequenced engine number with single strike numbers in the correct font. Having been under known ownership since new, the engine is believed to be original to the car. The inner fender wells are steel construction, and the inner compartment is finished satin black consistent with fabrication standards that exclusively match factory Spyder construction. The finishes have been correctly applied and freshened under current ownership. The quality and attention to detail applied to the engine compartment covers all areas with equal care. The traditional Ferrari crinkle-black cam cover finish has been faithfully presented, the diamond tufted silver hood insulation pad is in place, and all correct engine compartment plaques, factory hardware, and hallmark V12 designations remain per original specifications. The trunk is correctly finished with black carpet and a removable floor panel that conceals a spare Cromodora wheel and spare tire. The underside of the car shows correct features and very nice finishes with a focus on authenticity and cleanliness. The car is outfitted with correct exhaust and mufflers and correct chrome plated quad exhaust tips. Underside features include proper cast aluminum engine and gearbox castings, correct lines, and generally correct finishes. A small section of the right inner rear fender indicates metal repairs consistent with the information shared by the original owner when the car was damaged in the late 1970s. The chassis is clean and dry, showing no visual evidence of structural damage or compromise to main components, rocker panels, or suspension. Consistent with the exceptional presentation, this Daytona starts, runs, and drives extremely well. The engine revs smoothly and responsively with no excess vibration and progressive acceleration through all gears. The clutch takes up properly without shuddering and the gearbox works well, both cold and warm. The suspension is supple, and fluid enhanced by the recent Koni shock rebuilds and recent tie rod end replacements. This Daytona Spyder is accompanied by the original set of five Cromodora cast wheels, a set of owner’s manuals and Ferrari branded case, the original California windshield mounted operating permit issued to the first owner, the original Ferrari factory warranty card with California location service stamps, a Ferrari Daytona brochure, copies of service records from the first and second owner, and photos of the car taken in 1979 prior to the restoration. Beautiful, important, rare, and an exceptional statement piece for even highly populated collections, this Daytona Spyder is, by any measure, iconic for its ground-breaking design and revered today as a hallmark of Ferrari excellence. Believed to be the first Spyder delivered to the US, the 33rd built, and one of just 96 examples delivered to North America, this rare and desirable Scaglietti Spyder is certain to deliver the incomparable driving pleasures of one of the most capable and dynamic Italian sports cars ever conceived. Please note that this car was manufactured in 1971 but sold in 1972 and is titled as a 1972 model. 1971 Ferrari 365 GTS/4 Daytona Spyder Fantasy Junction If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. The Lotus Elan has become a benchmark sports car thanks to its sublime steering and precise handling, and it perfectly embodies the lightweight ethos of legendary marque founder Colin Chapman. The Elan Sprint being offered for sale here was first registered in January 1973, which was the final year of Elan production at the Hethel factory. A replacement Lotus galvanised chassis was fitted during the mid-1990s, having been sourced from marque specialist Mick Miller, and more recently the car has been treated to an in-depth mechanical refurbishment. A solid driveshaft conversion was carried out, replacing the standard Rotoflex couplings, a Safety Devices roll bar with side-intrusion bars was installed, and the interior was retrimmed in black leather. A new hood was fitted and the Elan now sports genuine Minilite centre-lock alloy wheels. In 2017, new stub axles and rear wheel bearings were fitted, and the braking system was overhauled. Three years later, the Twin Cam engine was rebuilt by JSWL Classics, after which dyno testing showed that it was producing 140bhp at the flywheel. It also benefits from electronic ignition and an alternator upgrade. In 2022, the Elan was sold to its current owner – a discerning collector and marque enthusiast– via renowned Lotus specialist Paul Matty. As a late Sprint, it’s a highly desirable example of a car that still has few peers when it comes to pure driving pleasure. 1972 Lotus Elan Sprint The Classic Motor Hub If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. The final top-of-the-range model in the Giulia GT series presented in September 1963 was the 2000 GT Veloce – known as the GTV for short – which Alfa Romeo unveiled in June 1971 (Tipo 105.21). Its 1’962 cc engine (Tipo 512) is a bored-out version of the 1750 engine and delivers 129 DIN hp, enabling a top speed of 200 km/h. Externally, the front end is largely identical to that of the 1750 GTV. However, the ‘new’ coupé was given a continuous chrome radiator grille with an integrated Alfa Romeo Scudetto. The rear end was redesigned – the 2000 GTV is the only member of the family to have wide rear lights, which also incorporate the reversing lights. Our 2000 GTV, built in 1973, was probably delivered in Italy and imported to Switzerland shortly afterwards. It was first registered in this country on 5 April 1974. The history of this fantastic coupé is unknown. According to the vehicle registration document, however, it was registered in the canton of Vaud before going to its last owner in the canton of Valais in 2017. The latter deregistered the car in August 2019 and parked it in his garage. The bodywork of the GTV was obviously restored and repainted a few years ago. The interior was fitted with a new set of carpets some time ago but is otherwise in good original condition. The popular coupé is currently in very good overall condition and will be sold with the most recent veteran MOT completed in September 2025. 1973 Alfa Romeo 2000 GTV Oldtimer Galerie International GmbH If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1968-maserati-ghibli-47-by-ghia

Unveiled to fanfare at the 1966 Turin Motor Show, the Maserati Ghibli combined alluring fastback bodywork by noted designer Giorgetto Giugiaro with proven performance from the Italian automaker’s 4.7-liter V-8, creating one of the most appealing grand tourers of the decade. Named for swift desert winds on the North African coast, the Ghibli’s performance more than matched its billing: the 310-horsepower engine with four carburetors, quad camshafts, and dry-sump lubrication pushed the svelte coupe to speeds beyond 164 mph. Maserati produced a total of 1,170 Ghibli Coupes from 1967 through 1973. Ordered new by Brussels Maserati dealer François Staumont on behalf of Mr. Théo Vercoutere in late 1967, a letter from Staumont to Maserati dated 28 November 1967 notes that the car was destined for display at the Brussels Motor Show. Chassis 180 was delivered on 29 December, finished in Celeste Chiaro over Blu leather, and exhibited a few weeks later. This Ghibli is believed to have had a second Belgian owner before being acquired by Peter Jansens in 1985. He retained the car for two years and then sold it to Bruun van Leeuwen, via Kroymans. Under Jansens’ care, the car is said to have had rust repairs and a respray. Mr. Leeuwen owned this Ghibli until 1999; the work he and other owners carried out is noted in a document on file. The Maserati changed hands twice more before a subsequent owner out of Germany acquired it in November 2011. He would commission Roda Classica out of Portugal to restore the car in 2016, invoices for which are on file. The work included repairing the bodywork as necessary before respraying it in factory-correct Celeste Chiaro and rebuilding the engine, gearbox, and other components. The interior had previously been refinished in Senape leather and was cleaned but otherwise left intact with its appealing patina. In November 2023, the Maserati would briefly pass to another German owner before ending up with a dealer in the Netherlands, from whom the consignor acquired it in June 2024 and had it imported to the United States later that year. With its numbers-matching 4.7-liter V-8 engine, exterior refinished in the factory-correct body color, and known history with period motor show provenance, this Ghibli appeals on many levels and will provide much enjoyment whether showing or touring. 1968 Maserati Ghibli 4.7 by Ghia RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. The notice and take down procedure is described here: https://www.speedholics.com/copyright Unveiled to fanfare at the 1966 Turin Motor Show, the Maserati Ghibli combined alluring fastback bodywork by noted designer Giorgetto Giugiaro with proven performance from the Italian automaker’s 4.7-liter V-8, creating one of the most appealing grand tourers of the decade. A Porsche that sharpens every one of your senses: the Porsche 930 Turbo. Among enthusiasts, it is famously known as the Widowmaker. Why the Widow? Because this ‘neunelfer’, in addition to its exceptional 3.0-litre boxer engine, is equipped with a substantial turbo. The 911S was already renowned for its dual personality. You could cruise in comfort, but the moment you demanded power from the boxer, you had to be fully attentive, with the majority of the weight resting over the rear axle. The name Widowmaker should already set the senses alight, yet the car is not truly “dangerous.” After all, Ferdinand Porsche himself presented the very first 930 Turbo to his daughter, Louise Piech. The recognition of this fiery 911’s potential is far from modest. Perhaps the 911 Turbo lineage mirrors the life of a typical artist: it began (with the 930) wild and untamed, leaving many deeply impressed and occasionally sprawled in the hedgerows. Today, after decades of refinement, structure, and balance, they are more controlled, less eccentric, and the experience is somewhat “tamer.” At the time, the 930 Turbo was a direct competitor to the Lamborghini Countach and Ferrari 365 GT4 BB. With a 0–100 km/h sprint in just 4.8 seconds, it remains an incredibly rapid car even today. Following the announcement of its production, Porsche was inundated with orders and reservations. The initial plan to produce 500 “first editions” was immediately doubled to 1,000. Ultimately, just under 18,000 units were delivered worldwide, leaving many early customers eager to secure one. And it is precisely one of those 500 “first edition” examples that we now have in our showroom! Originally delivered in Germany and residing in the Netherlands since 1991, its stamped service booklets confirm the original mileage. Special features include the turbo stripes on the rear, gold-lettered Porsche logos on the doors, and rare gold-painted wheels—perfectly capturing the retro, audacious spirit of Porsche engineers in the 1970s. There is so much more to tell, and we warmly invite serious collectors to submit an enquiry about this truly remarkable piece of automotive history. 1975 Porsche 930 Turbo 3.0 Cool Classic Club If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer.
