1963 Corvette Stingray Split Window. 56 thousand Kilometres showing. Finished in Sebring Silver with Red Leather interior. Powered by the desirable 327ci 5.4 V8 engine, producing 300 Horsepower. Four speed manual gearbox. On the 15th of April 1963, this Corvette was first delivered to Chevrolet dealer Spence Chevrolet, on Daytona Beach. It has spent most of its life in Florida. The colour and trim are as original with even the seats believed to be original. Correct original AM/FM radio. It is fitted with an ‘LSD Powerlock’ differential and power steering. The front brakes have been upgraded to 1965 specification in interests of safety. The car is currently sitting on period correct, dealer upgrade Torq Thrust D Wheels. Flow Master Mufflers. A new fuel tank has also been fitted. The history file includes a NCRS (National Corvetter Registers Society) certificate, a copy of the original bill of sale, various invoices and more. This Corvette is in lovely condition throughout. It is the perfect example for any collector or enthusiast, as the split window was only made in 1963, and also the first Corvette to use the Stingray name.
