- 1967 Ferrari 330 GT Series II
One of the most exciting life stories of an exceptional car like the Ferrari 330 GT Series II is so exciting and entertaining to read that you won't want to put this classic down. Packed in three bulging folders and a book with a photographic history of the entire, almost 60-year life, this is the ideal reading material for the motorist for an entire weekend! What has happened so far sounds promising and inevitably leads to the realization - this wonderfully beautiful GT wants to be driven, cared for and looked after for many more decades. In January 1967, Franco B. from Milan decided to buy the Ferrari 330 GT presented to him, in order to take it over in March 1967, registered and with a full tank. (You may be wondering how we know about the full tank? Well, because it was agreed with the dealer and the original purchase contract and order are available. We are assuming that the dealer who delivered the car was not stingy with the purchase price of many millions of lire and kept his agreement) Signore Franco B. (first owner) is after a new car 8 years later (1975), which is why our protagonist is handed over to his second owner, Dr. Rodolfo Z. He is not only a Ferraristi, but also the president of the automobile club in his region in Udine/Friuli and also lives in Luxembourg, where the Ferrari was registered in 1975 and driven regularly. Judging by the documents and historical records, he is almost a “daily driver”! After all, it was driven until it reached a mileage of around 149,000 km, before finally falling into a deep sleep in its owner's garage in 1982, which only ended after the death of Mr. Dottore Rodolfo Z. in 2010 - his widow revealed one of Luxembourg's best-kept secrets and decided to sell her late husband's Ferrari. This great event for a Ferrari and a Ferraristi was published in words and pictures as the cover story of a well-known specialist magazine and made the 330 GT a minor celebrity as one of the few examples in the world that had been preserved in its original state. Back to the spectacular sale in 2010 as the estate of the said widow. The new owner debated for a long time whether he should restore the 330 at all and, if so, to what extent, and finally decided: the Ferrari deserves to be revived (after almost 30 years in the previous owner's garage, this was certainly a sensible decision...). It is important to know that the line between a soulless full restoration and the almost equally laborious preservation of a patinated interior, a factory-fitted roof lining, carpet, dashboard and all instruments, switches, etc. is a very fine one! If you overshoot the mark, you risk losing the harmony between the unobtainable charm of an interior that has aged with honor, which reminds both driver and passengers on every trip that they can enjoy this with an almost 60-year-old but incredibly well-preserved top-class automobile. No age cracks on the dashboard, no worn-out driver's seat, no parcel shelf hanging in tatters, nothing - ABSOLUTELY NOTHING - forces the occupants to wink benevolently behind rose-tinted glasses and put a positive spin on a desolate interior. On the contrary, this entire interior is the center and the sum of its incredible charisma. You couldn't feel more comfortable and safe in a passenger compartment that has been part of an endless number of stories for almost 6 decades and over 150,000 km, which are told to you during a drive. In contrast to the first-class, original interior, the new owner decided in 2010 to overhaul the entire technology (engine, transmission, rear axle differential, front/rear axles, all brakes, etc.) without compromise, to renew where necessary, but to restore most of it, in other words to literally make all of the existing and salvageable parts of the Ferrari new from old! In our opinion, a restoration couldn't be more noble, because it corresponds to the meaning and goal of automotive culture worth preserving. Remember - the replaced technology, interior and bodywork are new. All well and good. But they can never be restored to their original state. A unique opportunity has been missed. Authenticity is lost forever and irreplaceable. It is not for nothing that the resolution of the Turin Charter tells us exactly that - the highest and purest form of historic automobiles are without doubt those that are kept as original as possible and are therefore also the most valuable examples. 1967 Ferrari 330 GT Series II DLS Automobile If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1999 BMW M3 Evolution (E36) Convertible
Background Launched in 1992, the E36 M3 was the second generation of BMW’s high performance sports coupé. The new design came with a good level of practicality, more room, more creature comforts and was easier to use on a daily basis, the main focus being on the new 6-cylinder engine, originally launched as a 3.0-litre, producing 286 bhp. The M3 was restrained visually, a real ‘sleeper’ with just a few giveaways such as the aerodynamic mirrors, front and rear bumper aprons and distinctive 17” wheels. The M3 was 30mm lower than the standard 3-Series, with enhanced handling. If you didn't spot these differences, the sheer power of the M3 gave it away as something quite special. In 1993, the convertible model was added, offering the same performance, with added roof-down appeal. Two years later, the M3 got a slight facelift with some minor cosmetic changes, but the biggest change of all was the addition of the 3.2-litre straight-six, like the one we have here. The car Registered on 2nd March 1999 to its one and only keeper, this iconic M car was supplied by Coopers BMW of Tunbridge Wells (now Arden BMW) and has remained with its one and only custodian ever since, showing zero previous keepers on the V5. Finished in Fern Green Metallic with a matching light green leather interior, the soft top is also finished in a light green, to complement the rest of the car and there is the highly-desirable bonus of a matching hard top. This very special Evo comes with its original dealer book pack with handbook and stamped service book, along with a plethora of invoices detailing service works dating right back to the first service. All the maintenance work has been completed by the same supplying dealer of the car, keeping everything traceable. Approximately five years ago the SMG gearbox had to be replaced so a brand-new replacement was sourced from BMW Germany and duly installed by Arden’s, all documented. The vendor then had some paint rectification work done, to make the car present back to as new, while the wheels were refurbished at the same time. Summary With just one registered keeper and a comprehensive supplying-dealer provenance, this is one rather special M3 Evolution which offers superb open-top performance and is surely very collectable. 1999 BMW M3 Evolution (E36) Convertible Iconic Auctioneers Ltd If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1983 Lamborghini Countach LP5000 S
When it comes to launching an all new model of an automobile, especially high performance supercars, introductions of these new models are said to be either evolutionary or revolutionary. In its early days, being renowned for its front-engined, V-12 grand tourers, Ferrari often took the evolutionary route. Knowing what its clients liked and what Ferrari were best at, it is natural to see the evolution from 166, to 212, to 250, to 275, and then to 365 GTB/4 ‘Daytona’. Just 35 kilometers down the road from Maranello in the little town of Sant’Agata Bolognese, Automobili Lamborghini chose to go the revolutionary route with the introduction of the Miura in 1966. The Miura changed the performance car industry forever, with its stunning Bertone-penned bodywork and transversely-mounted V-12 engine sitting just behind the cabin, it was nothing like the 275 GTB being built by Ferrari at the time. Lamborghini could have simply rested on its laurels for the Miura’s replacement but once again decided to go the route of revolution over evolution, and the introduction of the Countach cemented Lamborghini’s place in the hearts and minds of enthusiasts worldwide. Again designed by Bertone, the Countach looked like nothing else on the road and was a huge departure from the Miura. Still retaining a V-12 engine, but now mounted longitudinally instead of trasnvesrsely, this format has remained with all of the ‘big’ Lamborghinis ever since. The evolution of cars to come: Diablo, Murciélago, Aventador, and now Revuelto, can all trace their lineage to the Countach. This Countach was built to left-hand-drive specifications and was first registered in Italy on export plates in March of 1983, having been purchased new by Prince Khaled Al Faisal of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Retained for his use in Europe, the Countach’s 1,000-kilometre service—which remains in the car’s history file—shows that he was living at the Intercontinental Hotel in Geneva as of April 1983. The invoice further states that the car would be transported back to the Intercontinental Hotel once the work had been completed! At some point, Al Faisal exported the car to the UK registering it under his personal numberplate “1 KF” and keeping the car at his address in St. Johns Wood in London. The Countach remained in Al Faisal’s ownership until December 1989, when it was purchased directly from him by the current owner. The handwritten bill of sale, which remains in the file, states that: “the car has a genuine mileage of approx. 3,800 kilometres, and to the best of my knowledge is free of all mechanical faults”. Throughout the 1990s, the current owner (a serial Countach enthusiast who has owned no fewer than 14 examples) proceeded to use and enjoy the Countach as its manufacturers intended—at speed on the road! The benefits of a 5000 S over earlier Countaches would not have been lost on him: these cars saw power grow to 375 brake-horsepower, courtesy of a new 4.8-litre V-12 engine fed by six Weber carburettors. Though only 321 LP5000 Ss were manufactured—including the example offered here— the model cumulatively outsold the two previous generations of the Countach in just the second year of its three-year production run. The vast majority of the car’s current mileage, showing just under 23,500 kilometres from new, was accumulated during the current owner’s first decade of ownership, and it has been driven just over 1,000 kilometres in the past 17 years. The Countach’s lovely history file includes documents from throughout its life, including the aforementioned Italian export registration documents and bill of sale, as well as numerous MoT certificates, service invoices, and its original manuals, including its original service book. It presents in well-preserved condition throughout, clearly having been well looked after from day one. In 2023, Lamborghini is a global icon at the height of its powers. With production growing year on year, Countach variants are becoming an ever smaller subsect of Lamborghini’s total production, yet arguably represent the marque’s most recognisable automobile due to its revolutionary nature and succession of models that followed in its footsteps. Almost every owner of a modern Lamborghini has lusted after a Countach at some point in their life and owes it to themselves to experience the icon. An eye-catching example like this that wants for nothing and would make a perfect stablemate to a Urus, Huracan, or a V-12 model that can trace its roots to Lamborghini’s revolutionary Countach. 1983 Lamborghini Countach LP5000 S RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. An eye-catching example like this that wants for nothing and would make a perfect stablemate to a Urus, Huracan, or a V-12 model that can trace its roots to Lamborghini’s revolutionary Countach. - 2000 Lamborghini Diablo GTR
The inception of the Diablo GTR starts with the successful watchmaker and jeweller Philippe Charriol, who was well known both on and off the circuit. Charriol's love for racing saw him befriend Stephane Ratel of the SRO, who had previously founded the Venturi Gentleman Drivers Trophy (Philippe Charriol Super Sport Trophy for the final year). At the end of 1995 when Venturi curtailed the Trophy, Ratel sought a new opportunity. After the retirement of Lamborghini’s Countach, the factory production was down to just over two cars a day and in need of some vigour. Ratel knew that Diablo would work well on the track, and empowered by his pioneering spirit and great friendship with Charriol, the Philippe Charriol Lamborghini Supertrophy was born. Ratel partnered with French finance business LeasePlan to offer the Supertrophy competitors a simple package. Entrants were leased a Diablo SV-R, complete with everything needed to race and the costs were condensed into a monthly payment. Each of the SV-Rs were supplied with all the necessary parts to make the cars road legal should the client so desire at the end of the plan. The Diablo GTR was introduced in 2000 and based on the run out, highly limited Diablo GT. Heavily upgraded, the GTR would replace the SV-R as the Supertrophy contender. Power was up from 540bhp to 590bhp (and 25bhp more than the GT), while weight was reduced by a further 65kg, from the GT'S 1460kg, to 1395kg. A purposful, racing oriented car when compared to the GT; the GTR received a full roll cage as well as a large rear wing bolted directly to the chassis. The interior was sparse, with just the drivers seats and few creature comforts. This specific example (chassis 2 of 30) was the sole example to be built in a purple hue named Viola Cassis, which it wears to this day. Throughout its competition history, this specific Diablo was exclusively prepared by Charriol's own raceteam, Ecurie Riverside - for Charriol himself to race. The extensive race history of chassis 2 is as follows: 2000 Lamborghini Supertrophy #2 – 28.05.2000 – Lamborghini Supertrophy - Hockenheim, Germany – Team Riverside #2 – 11.06.2000 – Lamborghini Supertrophy - Silverstone, UK – Team Riverside #2 – 09.07.2000 – Lamborghini Supertrophy - Le Mans, France – Team Riverside #2 – 06.08.2000 – Lamborghini Supertrophy - A1- Ring, Austria – Team Riverside #2 – 10.09.2000 – Lamborghini Supertrophy - Monza, Italy – Team Riverside #2 – 15.10.2000 – Lamborghini Supertrophy - Laguna Seca, USA – Team Riverside #2 – 05.11.2000 – Lamborghini Supertrophy - Barcelona-Catalunya, Spain – Team Riverside 2001 Lamborghini Supertrophy #2 – 20.04.2001 – Lamborghini Supertrophy Monza – Team Riverside – Charriol/Gounon – 7th #2 – 28.03.2001 – Lamborghini Supertrophy Valencia – Team Riverside – Charriol/Clerico – DNF 2002 FFSA GT Championship #82 – 01.04.2002 – FFSA GT Nogaro – Team Riverside #82 – 28.04.2002 – FFSA GT Ledenon – Team Riverside #82 – 20.05.2002 – FFSA GT Pau – Team Riverside #82 – 30.06.2002 – FFSA GT Dijon – Team Riverside #82 – 08.09.2002 – FFSA GT Albi – Team Riverside – 13th/9th – Charriol/Lemee #82 – 06.10.2002 – FFSA GT Le Mans – Team Riverside #82 – 20.10.2002 – FFSA GT Magny-Cours – Team Riverside – 47th /16th – Charriol/Demigneux 2003 FFSA GT Championship #76 – 21.04.2003 – FFSA GT Nogaro – Team Riverside – 16th/19th – Charriol/Bertapelle #76 – 18.05.2003 – FFSA GT Dijon – Team Riverside – 29th/17th – Charriol/Bertapelle #76 – 09.06.2003 – FFSA GT Pau – Team Riverside – 7th – Charriol/Bertapelle #76 – 22.06.2003 – FFSA GT Val de Vienne – Team Riverside – 18th/7th – Charriol/Bertapelle #76 – 14.07.2003 – FFSA GT Le Mans – Team Riverside – 21st/22nd – Charriol/Bertapelle #76 – 28.09.2003 – FFSA GT Ledenon – Team Riverside – 19th/32nd – Charriol/Bertapelle #76 – 26.10.2003 – FFSA GT Magny Cours – Team Riverside – 32nd/19th – Charriol/Bertapelle 2004 FFSA GT Championship #80 – 12.04.2004 – FFSA GT Nogaro – Team Riverside – Philippe Charriol #80 – 02.05.2004 – FFSA GT Ledenon – Team Riverside – Charriol/Loger – 17th/35th #80 – 16.05.2004 – FFSA GT Val de Vienne – Team Riverside – Charriol/Loger – DNF/DNS #80 – 20.06.2004 – FFSA GT Dijon – Team Riverside – Charriol/Loger – 18th/35th #80 – 05.09.2004 – FFSA GT Albi – Team Riverside – Charriol/Loger – 12th/11th #80 – 26.09.2004 – FFSA GT Le Mans – Team Riverside – Charriol/Loger – 8th/36th #80 – 17.10.2004 – FFSA GT Magny Cours – Team Riverside – Charriol/Loger – 17th/12th #68 – 25.11.2004 – Bahrain Heat 1 – Team RSG – Bouchut/Charriol – 8th #68 – 26.11.2004 – Bahrain Heat 3 – Team RSG – Bouchut/Charriol – DNS #68 – 26.11.2004 – Bahrain GT Festival – Team RSG – Charriol/Bouchut – DNS #68 – 26.11.2004 – Bahrain GT Heat 2 – Team RSG – Charriol/Bouchut – 11th 2005 FFSA GT Championship #88 – 28.03.2005 – FFSA GT Nogaro – Team Riverside – Charriol/Beroujon – 26th/20th #88 – 17.04.2005 – FFSA GT Ledenon – Team Riverside – Charriol/Beroujon – 26th/18th #88 – 29.05.2005 – FFSA GT Dijon – Team Riverside – Charriol/Beroujon – DNF/DNF #88 – 26.06.2005 – FFSA GT Val de Vienne – Team Riverside – Charriol/Beroujon – 13th/22nd #88 – 04.09.2005 – FFSA GT Albi – Team Riverside – Charriol/Beroujon – DNF/DNF #88 – 25.09.2005 – FFSA GT Le Mans – Team Riverside – Charriol/Levy – 23rd/21st #88 – 16.10.2005 – FFSA GT Magny Cours – Team Riverside – Charriol/Levy – 22nd/20th Following its competition career, chassis 2 was placed in storage, remaining in the care of Philippe Charriol until 2010. Subsequently, the car was purchased by its only other owner and exported to the UK, where it would again remain in long term storage. At the time, it was road registered and is therefore accompanied by a UK V5 registration document. Purchased by DK Engineering in 2024, the car was extracted from storage and inspected in our workshops. The car had received a minor service in 2022 with Carrera Sport of Haywards Heath, but further work was needed to bring the car up to standard. DK removed the engine from the car, partially dismantling it and replacing all perished rubbers. The fuel cells were renewed and the whole engine bay was detailed including extensive use of dry ice. During the reassembly process the sliding windows were replaced and two original Diablo GT seats were fitted to the interior. The wheels have been refurbished too, as well as recieving new tyres. The Diablo has been treated to a comprehensive detail and presents ready to go. A rare opportunity to use and enjoy the Diablo GTR of title-sponsor Philippe Charriol, this example is available to view at our showrooms outside London today. 2000 Lamborghini Diablo GTR D.K. - 1964 Shelby Cobra 289
Beautifully presented in its period colour scheme of green with a black interior, this Shelby Cobra 289 is an extremely original example of this landmark sports car. Chassis number CSX2311 was billed to Shelby American on 24 January 1964 and shipped from to Los Angeles on 5 February aboard the SS Diemardyk. Although the car was sold via Warner Wooten Ford Inc in Cocoa, Florida, it’s thought that its first owner – John Norris of Eau Gallie – travelled to California to collect it in person. The list price was quoted as being $5195 but the list of ‘Class A’ accessories included a luggage rack, radio, twin four-barrel carburettors and Blue Streak tyres, all of which meant that the final cost to Mr Norris was $5866.25. It seems that he didn’t keep his new Cobra 289 for very long because it was advertised for sale in the October 1964 issue of Road & Track magazine with the following text: ‘1964 Cobra, 2×4-barrel engine, Blue Streaks, British Green, Sun tach, 12,000 miles, no races, sell for $5500.’ It was bought by Robert L Eaton, who was also based in Florida and ended up keeping CSX2311 for 15 years. While the car was in Eaton’s ownership, Bill Turner – who lived in nearby Fort Myers – would often see it being driven around. Turner got his Cobra fix by buying a new 427 model in 1966 but always coveted CSX2311 and – ‘after years of trying’, as he later put it – he finally persuaded Eaton to sell him the 289 in August 1978. It’s thought that the Cobra had covered 27,000 miles by that time, and Turner kept his cherished car for more than 30 years. In 1987, he had a cosmetic restoration carried out by Gary Hunt, a process that included retrimming the interior. That effort was rewarded with a third-place prize in the Cobra class at the SAAC-15 concours in Dearborn in July 1990. The Cobra covered only about 1000 miles during Turner’s long ownership and in 2009 it was sold to Jerry Chandler in California. When Mr Chandler died three years later, it was sold via auction to a new owner in Europe and was kept in The Netherlands. While there, it received work including a differential and suspension rebuild, before being sold to its most recent owner in 2017 at the RM Sotheby’s Battersea auction. This Cobra 289 is now being offered for sale with a continuous known history from new. It benefits from the upgrades that were made during the model’s production run, such as rack-and-pinion steering, as well as being specified with factory options such as twin four-barrel carburettors. It still has its original radio and antenna, as well as the jack and hammer, and it’s thought that it has covered just over 30,000 miles since being delivered to the US in 1964. MODEL HISTORY The story of the Cobra has long since passed into automotive legend. Former racer Carroll Shelby – winner of the 1959 Le Mans 24 Hours in a works Aston Martin – approached AC with the idea of dropping Ford’s latest V8 engine into the British marque’s venerable Ace chassis, which could trace its roots back to the early 1950s. It was a simple but extremely effective idea, and the Cobra became a performance icon. After a short run of cars fitted with 260 cubic-inch engines, the definitive 289 model was introduced. The V8 produced 270bhp and 312 lb/ft of torque when running on a single four-barrel Holley carburettor, and drove through a Borg-Warner T10 manual gearbox and a limited-slip Salisbury differential. The tubular chassis featured independent suspension all round with lower wishbones and upper transverse leaf springs, while the aluminium bodywork gave the Cobra a superb power-to-weight ratio. Road & Track magazine achieved a quarter-mile time of 13.8 seconds at 113mph when it tested a 289 model. Sports Car Graphic described it as being ‘perhaps the last of the breed of big, hairy, fast, wind-in-the-race roadsters… In short, the Cobra is a sports car, one of the best in the world, and doesn’t pretend to be anything else.’ Developments such as all-round disc brakes and rack-and-pinion steering came thick and fast, and the Cobra was immediately successful in domestic US racing. In 1965, Shelby achieved his ultimate goal when his Anglo-American hybrid – in Peter Brock-designed Daytona Coupe form – beat Ferrari in the International Championship for GT Manufacturers. A 427 cubic-inch model with redesigned chassis was developed and offered truly breath-taking performance, but Shelby had grown ever closer to Ford and was increasingly busy with other projects. The final batch of cars was invoiced by AC in December 1966, after production of the 289 model had totalled less than 600. 1964 Shelby Cobra 289 The Classic Motor Hub If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1962 Lancia Flaminia GT 3C Coupe
The Lancia Flaminia was launched at the 1956 Turin Motor Show as a direct replacement for the hugely successful Aurelia. Utilising a similar layout to the Aurelia with a rear transaxle gearbox and in-board brakes the Falminia was powered by a 2.5 litre V6 engine with a standard Solex carburettor. The Flaminia Coupe and Convertibles were Aluminium coach-built cars with their bodies being built by several Italian coachbuilders including Touring of Milan. A total of 1,550 Coupes were built, the 2.5 GT Coupes were built between 1957-1965 making them highly desirable. Other upgrades included fitting triple Weber 35DNC carburettors which boasted a power output of 140 bhp which propelled the car to a top speed of 130mph. The Lancia Flaminia GT 3C Coupe offered here at Autostorico was delivered on 16th February 1962 by Carozzeria Touring of Milan. Finished in Lord Blue with Burnt Orange leather interior this striking triple carburettor model was purchased in 2016 by its current owner in need of restoration. He undertook a no expense spared nut and bolt restoration which was carried out by the well-known and respected classic car specialist Adam Redding. Works included removing the engine and gearbox and stripping the whole body, before a bare metal respray was carried out. The car was also subject to a full mechanical overhaul including engine, gearbox, and suspension rebuild. Other notable works included overhauling the braking system, re-wire and interior re-trim. Supplied with a current V5 registration document and Lancia factory documentation confirming specification, various invoices and other related documentary history. This is a perfect opportunity to own a very sought-after Lancia Flaminia GT 3C Coupe, that is a joy to drive and will only appreciate further over time. - 1967-chevrolet-yenko-super-camaro-450
In the muscle car wars of the late 1960s, rules were made to be broken—and few broke rules better than Don Yenko. In 1967, while General Motors held the line at 400 cubic inches for the new Camaro, Yenko had other ideas. Partnering with racer and tuner Dick Harrell, he created the Super Camaro 450: a factory-fresh SS/RS transformed into a street-legal brute packing Corvette’s 427 big block. Though extremely limited production resulted in just 54 Yenko Camaros being completed and sold in 1967, this example (YS-703) is a standout even within that elite group. Delivered new in Ermine White as a 396-equipped L78 SS/RS, this Camaro was shipped straight to Harrell’s Performance Center in East St. Louis, Illinois. There, the six-day transformation from stock to Super Camaro began: The original engine was yanked in favor of the fire-breathing L72 427, rated at 450 horsepower with 11:1 compression, a Holley 3910 four-barrel carburetor, aluminum intake, and free-flowing dual exhaust. Harrell further fortified the drivetrain with a Muncie M21 close-ratio four-speed, heavy-duty clutch, and 12-bolt Posi rear end with 3.73:1 gears. A larger radiator, metallic brakes, custom-tuned suspension, and performance extras like traction bars, tuned headers, lightweight 15-inch wheels, and an NHRA-certified scatter shield completed the Super Camaro 450 package. Despite its raw power, this car wore a gentleman’s suit. The Rally Sport trim—with hidden headlights and bright accents—was retained, making it one of the especially rare RS-equipped Yenkos. Inside, a walnut-grain steering wheel, center console, and AM push-button radio added comfort to the chaos under the hood. From the outside, only a Corvette-style “stinger” hood and subtle 427 badges hinted at what lurked beneath. Sold new on 1 August 1967 to Jay Kline Chevrolet in Minneapolis, Minnesota, YS-703—identified in Yenko inventory documents that accompany the sale—has long been cherished by top-tier collectors. Its prior owners roster reads like a who’s who of the muscle car scene: Kevin Suydam, Gary Holub, Wayne Schmeeckle, and Trans-Am racer Bill Ockerlund have each played a role in its story. As presented today, YS-703 wears a highly detailed, award-winning restoration executed under prior ownership by renowned Yenko Camaro authority Dave Tinnell of Dave’s Auto Service in Edmonton, Kentucky. The notice and take down procedure is described here: https://www.speedholics.com/copyright In the muscle car wars of the late 1960s, rules were made to be broken—and few broke rules better than Don Yenko. Now offered from a private family collection of American sports cars in the Pacific Northwest, this Super Camaro remains among the finest examples of Yenko’s early work. Backed by a file of factory documentation and expert authentication, YS-703 is regarded as one of the most historically significant Yenkos in existence. - 1958 Jaguar XK150
The Jaguar XK150 was introduced in the spring of 1957, as a replacement for the XK140 and was available as a fixed and drophead coupe. Whilst the 150 was similar in design to the outgoing model it was considerably more refined. A one-piece windscreen replaced the split screen and the wing line no longer dropped as much over the doors. The bonnet was widened, opened down to the wings and on the roadster, the bulkhead was moved back four inches to make the bonnet longer. In the interior, the XK140’s walnut dashboard was replaced by a leather trimmed unit. The launch specification of the XK 150 included SU carburettors, four-speed manual gearbox with overdrive, independent front suspension with wishbones, coil springs, torsion bars and anti-roll bar, rigid rear axle with semi-elliptic leaf springs, and four-wheel hydraulic disc brakes. Jaguar increased the engine power outputs and introduced the optional 150 “SE” variant, with the 3.4 SE developing 210 bhp enabling it to reach 60mph in just over 8 secs and onto a top speed of just over 130 mph. The Jaguar XK150 ‘SE”’ 3.4 Fixed Head Coupe offered here at Autostorico is finished in its original colour of Cotswold Blue with Grey leather interior. Having left the factory on 22nd April 1958, Chassis No: 824375 was supplied to its first owner via Henlys London and registered as 999 CAE. Passing through several owners during its earlier years it’s been well maintained with considerable documented history finally passing to its current owner a jaguar enthusiast in 2021. He undertook a no expense spared body off nut and bolt restoration carried out by marque specialist Ruston Engineering Ltd. Works included removing the engine, gearbox and stripping the whole body, before a bare metal respray. The car was also subject to a full mechanical overhaul including a complete engine rebuild. Other notable works included full re-wire, full interior re-trim including carpets, replace front and rear wheel bearings along with suspension bushes and joints, Brake overhaul and fitting new tyres. The car comes complete with an extensive history file including a current V5 registration document, heritage certificate and numerous invoices. 1958 Jaguar XK150 Autostorico Partners LLP If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer.
