- 1954 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing
For many automotive enthusiasts, the story of the modern supercar starts with the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL. Debuting in 1954, the model teamed a beautiful aesthetic, capped off by those statement “gullwing” doors dictated by the lightweight tubular frame construction, with a performance punch from the 2,996-cc M198 straight-six engine. Making 215 horsepower to yield a top speed of 163 mph, it was recognised as the fastest production car in the world. Naturally, such a legacy ensures that every 300 SL is significant. However, the car offered here holds a particularly exceptional and fascinating backstory. A very early example, chassis 198.040.4500012 was built on 24 September 1954. Originally specified in the signature shade of Silver Grey Metallic over a blue vinyl and blue plaid fabric interior, according to its factory data card, it was a designated “Standwagen” (show car) and destined for “Automobil-Salon, London”. The records further note that it was fitted with engine number 198.980.4500022. During October 1954, it was driven from the marque’s Stuttgart headquarters straight to the United Kingdom to feature on the Mercedes-Benz stand for the 39th edition of the International Motor Exhibition held at London’s Earls Court; a sister Gullwing served as a demonstrator at the event. This very Gullwing attracted the world’s press, was photographed by many, and filmed by British Pathé as the revolutionary doors drew a crowd. There, this road-going evolution of the W194 endurance racer also caught the attention of celebrated privateer Formula 1 and sportscar team boss Rob Walker, who became the first British customer to purchase a 300 SL, buying this car directly off the stand. However, he would never take delivery. Per the account of Ron W Waghorn, employed with Mercedes-Benz Great Britain and tasked with looking after Walker’s cars, this example was swiftly taken to the roads around Hatfield to be shaken down by a group of engineers. A short while later, their Mercedes-Benz colleagues were met not with the returning Gullwing but by the police, who relayed that in damp and slippery conditions on the A1, chassis 198.040.4500012 had lost control and spun backwards into a tree. The rear bodywork and spare wheel bore the brunt of the impact. Accordingly, the car was returned to Germany to be repaired. Finally, in May 1955, the 300 SL was registered for the road for the first time to serve as a demonstrator for Mercedes-Benz GB and given the registration number “RGO 30”, which it retains to this day. In January 1956, the Gullwing was purchased by Carr & Co’s Noel Carr, a racing driver heir to the Carr’s Biscuits fortune who operated as a spare-time car dealer. Seven months later, Carr sold this Gullwing to its first private owner, Mr Charles Gardner. Having bought the car on 24 August 1956, the Gullwing would later spend around 20 years off the road and stored in a barn at his Sussex apple farm. Mr Gardner then transferred the car to his daughter, who re-registered it in France. Eventually, in October 2000, the Gullwing returned to the UK under the custodianship of Mr Gardner’s son, and it has remained in his family ever since. The consigning family then co-ordinated a five-year body-off restoration that spanned November 2005 to April 2010. At this point, the odometer was reset. Since the rebuild, this wonderful 300 SL has been repeatedly serviced by leading classic Mercedes-Benz specialist Kevin O’Keeffe, while Martin Cushway rebuilt the gearbox in 2015 before HK Engineering overhauled the differential in September 2021. The Gullwing heads to auction following an August 2024 service, having also passed an MoT with no advisories shown. Refinished in its original colour combination and complemented by the rare and highly desirable Rudge centre-lock wheels akin to how it featured at the Earls Court Motor Show, plus workshop manual, and extensive document file, this very early 300 SL Gullwing boasts a remarkable history in addition to retaining its matching-numbers chassis, body, and engine. Due to the pre-production nature of this Gullwing, its build sheet does not contain other numbered component records, however the front kingpins and differential all date from 1954. Furthermore, this Gullwing retains various features distinct to early examples. Thanks to MoT certificates on file dating back to 1977, the car is believed to have a total mileage of approximately 54,00 from new, with the Gullwing recorded at 40,483 before undergoing restoration. Having captured the world’s imagination at Earls Court some 70 years ago, chassis 198.040.4500012 is very likely to be the last “Standwagen” to be offered from single private ownership. A truly tantalising opportunity, this richly historied Gullwing would be an extremely rewarding prospect for its next owner. 1954 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1953-aston-martin-db2
Victor Gauntlett is a key figure in the long history of Aston Martin, helping to steer the company through a difficult period in the early 1980s and staying on as chairman after the Ford takeover in 1987. He was also a keen enthusiast and a discerning collector, and he owned this DB2 on two separate occasions. Chassis number LML/50/396 was built on 11 April 1953 as a right-hand-drive, UK-market car. The Heritage Certificate notes that it was Black with Beige trim, and that it wasdispatched on 23 April to Brooklands of Bond St, London. The registration number that it still wears today – PAR 651 – was issued in Hertfordshire. A black-and-white photograph in its file shows the car competing at Prescott hillclimb during the 1950s, and it was later owned by John Donner – another well-known collector who was noted for the quality of his restorations. Elsewhere in the file is a set of photographs documenting a rebuild during Donner’s ownership, in which the car was stripped all the way down to a bare chassis and its bodywork taken back to bare metal. The DB2 was then acquired by Victor Gauntlett, whose son Richard has fond memories of high-speed runs in this car, including a cross-country drive from Essex to Gloucestershire in tandem with his father, who was at the wheel of his Blower Bentley. Even though Victor subsequently sold the Aston Martin, it must have made quite an impression on him because he bought it back only five months later. In 1995, the DB2 played a central role in the Aston Martin Owners’ Club Diamond Jubilee celebrations, and was one of a select group of cars that were displayed inside the Dorchester Hotel in London during the Grand Jubilee Ball. It was subsequently bought from Gauntlett by a marque enthusiast as part of a small collection, and in 2010 its engine was rebuilt by Rex J Woodgate Automotive Consultants. Now superbly presented in green with red wheels, this Aston Martin DB2 boasts a fascinating ownership history and is a fine example of this charismatic 1950s sports saloon. - 1987 Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500
This striking Sierra Cosworth RS500, No 0125 / 500, is offered fresh to market after almost 20 years of continuous ownership and must surely represent one of the most original and unmolested examples to become available in recent times. The original Ford Sierra RS Cosworth was the first Ford to wear the Cosworth badge and was presented to the public at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1985. It was introduced as a means of homologating the Sierra for 'Group A' Touring Car racing, with a requirement that 5,000 cars were built and sold. Launched for sale in July 1986, and based on the three-door Sierra body-shell, it was designed by Ford's Special Vehicle Engineering (SVE) and was powered by a Cosworth-designed 2.0-litre turbo engine of now-legendary repute. At this time, the Sierra Cosworth was a new kind of performance car - a 'blue-collar hero' able to humble true sports cars! In total 5,545 cars were produced - of which 500 were sent to Aston Martin Tickford for conversion to the Sierra 'RS500 Cosworth'. If the RS Cosworth was a homologation car, the RS500 was an evolution special. Once Ford had built the requisite 5,000 RS Cosworths, 'Group A' rules allowed an upgraded 'evolution' model to be launched. This could carry changes focused on improving its racing potential, provided Ford sold 10% of the original number as road cars, hence the 500. The RS500 was announced in July 1987 and had a mechanically uprated Cosworth engine (more similar to the one to be used in competition), with power boosted to 224bhp, modified bodywork and the cachet of being hand-assembled - the RS500 really is the ultimate 1980s Fast Ford! This particular Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500, No 0125 / 500, is offered fresh to market after almost 20 years of continuous ownership and must surely represent one of the most original and unmolested examples to become available in recent times. Prior to purchase in 2004, our vendor made the decision that an RS500 was on his bucket list, but not just any old RS500, it had to be one of the very best. With that in mind, and the object of his desire sourced, an inspection by Alastair Mayne, Graham Goode Racing's Technical and Development Engineer was enlisted to inspect the vehicle to ensure that this was truly original and unmolested, even checking the often abused ‘ECU’ for signs of tampering ! As you would expect all was good and the purchase rubber-stamped with many years of meticulous and fastidious ownership to follow. ‘E290 VFD’ remains in the same condition to this very day with the exception of the front air dam and rear bumper which required minor refinishing to bring back up to the superb and original finish of the remainder of the vehicle and, with the exception of general service items, this is how the RS presents today. With a comprehensive history folder, Dating Certificate and workshop manuals there is little more to say other than that if you are looking for one of the most original, unmolested and desirable Performance Fords, freshly serviced and MOT’d, we suggest that your search may be at an end. 1987 Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500 Iconic Auctioneers Ltd If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1958 Ferrari 250 GT Cabriolet Series I by Pinin Farina
MARANELLO’S FIRST SERIES-PRODUCED CONVERTIBLE The Pinin Farina-bodied cabriolet that Ferrari introduced at the Geneva Salon in March 1957 was not only a triumph of design, with its elegant rear haunches, covered headlamps, and long centrally ventilated bonnet, but it also marked an auspicious milestone in Maranello history as the company’s first series-produced open-top model. While the first two examples were essentially prototypes that visibly varied, sometimes referred to as the Pinin Farina Spiders, the next 38 cars were generally more uniform in design with several different specific variations. However, despite being the first series-built Ferrari convertible, many experts still consider the Series I Cabriolets to be virtual one-offs, as they were constructed in Pinin Farina’s custom shop rather than on the coachbuilder’s factory floor. Featuring a myriad of customised trim details and differing interior amenities, these cars varied significantly enough from example to example to support the idea that each one was a special bespoke grand touring machine. Each model was crafted by hand, leading to a price tag that doubled that of its 250 GT California Spider sister model. In total, only 40 examples of the first series Pinin Farina Cabriolet were built before the model gave way to a mid-1959 redesign that was intended to further differentiate the Cabriolet from the California Spider. With a competition-derived chassis and the ever-formidable Tipo 128C Colombo-designed short-block V-12, the first-series cabriolets were not only beautiful to behold, but they were capable of exhilarating road performance as well, representing the pinnacle of open-top grand touring in the late-1950s. A JEWEL OF WHITE AND TURQUOISE Newly repainted in white, in homage to its fabulous original colour combination of Bianco over Pelle Turchese—and confirmed by factory data from Ferrari Classiche to retain its matching-numbers chassis, engine, gearbox, and rear axle, this exquisite first-series Cabriolet is one of the most remarkable examples to be publicly offered in memory. According to the combined research of marque expert Marcel Massini and French automotive historian Marc Rabineau, including period registrations and invoices dating to the mid-1960s, chassis 0849 GT is the 23rd example built. Completing assembly in May 1958, the Cabriolet was desirably equipped with covered headlamps and finished in Bianco paint over an interior trimmed in Turchese (turquoise) vaumol leather by Connolly, combining for a particularly striking color scheme. The 250 GT was immediately sold to Enzo Paoli Tacchini of Lodi, Italy, a smaller city south east of Milan, and registered “MI 384430”. Mr. Tacchini kept the Ferrari for a little over two years before selling it to Mario Fano of Milan, and in 1964 Parisian resident Claude Guillaux became the car’s third owner. The Cabriolet passed through the hands of at least three more French owners in the late-1970s before being acquired by Keith Sohl of Woking, England, in the early 1980s. By the late-1980s the Series I Cabriolet was in the possession of a German living in Paris, and it was spotted at several European events during the early 1990s, including the 1990 AvD-Oldtimer Grand Prix at the Nürburgring, and the 1992 FF40 (Ferrari Francorchamps) meeting at Jacques Swaters’ Garage Francorchamps in Belgium. In 1995 the Ferrari quickly passed through a short chain of American-based ownership, ending with Dennis Pobiak of Scottsdale, Arizona, who acquired the car in April 1996. By this time the cosmetic livery had been refreshed to a combination of Rosso paint over a Nero interior. During his 11-year ownership, Mr. Pobiak presented 0849 GT at the 2007 Quail Motorsports Gathering as part of the event’s featured reunion of 250 GT Series I Cabriolets. After more than a decade of dedicated care, Mr. Pobiak sold the Ferrari in 2007 to a noted French collector, commencing a 14-year period of fastidious attention. In 2013 the owner was able to locate the matching-numbers engine, number 0849 GT, which had been installed in the 250 Europa GT number 0367 GT, and whose owner agreed to sell the motor. Four years later the cabriolet was submitted to Carrosserie Lecoq in France for a full restoration, including installation of the matching-numbers engine. While the interior was retrimmed in the unique shade of Turchese, the owner opted to paint the exterior in Nero. On the back of the beautiful restoration, the 250 GT was presented at the inaugural Cavallino Concours d’Elegance held in Modena in July 2021. Acquired by the consignor four months later, the Series I Cabriolet has more recently been treated to a refinish in homage to the original color of Bianco, the unique original colour scheme that graced the car when it left the factory. Furthermore, the Cabriolet has been confirmed by data from Ferrari Classiche to be fitted with the matching-numbers chassis, engine, gearbox, and rear axle, cementing an impressive degree of mechanical authenticity. This superlative Cabriolet Series I is a magnificent example of Maranello’s rare 250 GT-based convertible tourer. It would make a crowning acquisition for any collector of vintage Ferraris or important open post-war sports cars. Equally prepared for the road or the concours field, this spellbinding Prancing Horse promises its next caretaker untold satisfaction. 1958 Ferrari 250 GT Cabriolet Series I by Pinin Farina RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1955 Porsche 550 Spyder by Wendler
Recognised as the first Porsche designed from the ground up to be a race car, the 550 Spyder contested the most revered motorsport events of the 1950s. On the entry lists of the Targa Florio, Mille Miglia, 24 Hours of Le Mans, and Carrera Panamericana, the diminutive mid-engined sportscar achieved astonishing results against larger-capacity rivals from Ferrari and Maserati. The late racing driver Herbert Linge, who held the distinction of being the first mechanic employed by Porsche upon its factory moving to Stuttgart, wonderfully kept a handwritten record of the 90 examples built of the model, so called because of its remarkably low 550-kilogram weight. According to his notes, chassis 0038 was completed on 29 April 1955 equipped with engine P90031 (internal number 41) and gearbox 10029. Finished by the factory in white with burgundy accents, it was one of two cars destined for Portugal. There, it was first owned by Fernando Mascarenhas, who campaigned the 550 Spyder in a variety of European circuit races. The car is believed to have scored class podiums on its first two competitive outings at Barajas and Monsanto in 1955 before participating in the Nürburgring 500 Kilometres that August. This 550 Spyder was then sold to Cypriano Flores in 1958, and further entered into other national races. After his death, chassis 0038 was taken over by his son, Caeser Flores. He sought a restoration in Portugal in the 1980s but struggled to find the right company to sympathetically handle the dry sump, 1,498-cc flat-four Carrera engine and alloy body. He eventually returned the car to Porsche for a complete overhaul, with the mechanical work carried out at Zuffenhausen while original coachbuilder Wendler attended to the exterior. Critically, this example retains its matching-numbers engine, four-speed gearbox, and seamless mild steel chassis. The bulkhead, dashboard, and rear clamshell appear to have remained throughout, likewise for the underfloor that still features the correct drainage holes and caps to direct water away from the compact, open, two-seater cockpit. It should be noted that during the 1992 to 1994 restoration, Wendler seems to have used modern pop-up rivets at the front and on the floor. The colour was also changed to silver, the beige vinyl interior switched to black leather, and other technical alterations made. The car has not been driven since the restoration. Similarly, the dual-overhead camshaft, 110 horsepower, Type 547/1 engine has allegedly not turned over since July 2010 owing to the crankshaft ostensibly retaining its original roller bearing specification. As such, it is recommended that a full service is undertaken before use. Thereafter, by virtue of retaining its matching-numbers engine and gearbox, chassis 0038 would make for a truly outstanding candidate for any significant Porsche collection and at discerning Concours d'Elegance events. 1955 Porsche 550 Spyder by Wendler RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1972 Maserati Indy 4700
This Maserati Indy 2+2 Tipo AM 107/1 manufactured in March 1972 at the Modena, Italy, factory is one of 364 units that were manufactured with the 4.7-liter engine out of 1,102 units produced between 1969 and 1975. This particular unit comes standard with a ZF 5-speed manual transmission and mounts the 4.7-liter 90-degree V8 290cv engine with double overhead camshaft and Bosch injection system, where according to the catalogue, the car managed to reach the 175 Mph. The vehicle had a complete and fully restoration from bodywork, paint and interiors to mechanics. It is currently registered with the original Barcelona license plate of the time with all the documentation up to date. It can be viewed and tested by appointment at our facilities in Barcelona, just 5 minutes from the international airport. The Maserati Indy, officially unveiled at the 1969 Geneva Motor Show, was a tribute to the two consecutive victories of Maserati 8CTF racing cars in the famous 500-mile race at the Indianapolis Speedway in 1939 and 1940. This new model was designed by Virginio Vairo at Vignale and was conceived to bridge the gap between Ghibli and Mexico. The roofline was higher compared to the Ghibli, offering more headroom for rear passengers. The mechanics were borrowed from the Ghibli and represented traditional Maserati technology: semi-monocoque structure with front subframe, independent double wishbone front suspension and a rigid rear axle with leaf springs. Standard equipment included a two-way adjustable steering column, anti-theft steering lock, leather upholstery, tinted power windows, reclining seats, fog lamps, heated rear windshield, headrests, and a dash-mounted clock in front of the passenger. Power steering, automatic gearbox and radio were options. In 1973, the Indy adopted the hydraulic braking system of Citroën, the then new owner of Maserati. 1972 Maserati Indy 4700 Auto Storica If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1969 Porsche 917
Chassis 917-005 – Rebuilt to Race Another Day Qualified Pole Position by Joe Siffert at the 1969 Spa 1000km 1969 Le Mans 24 Hours – Entered & Driven by John Woolfe (Accident on Lap 1) 4.5 Liter Flat-12 engine 5-Speed Manual Transmission Stunning Longtail Configuration The Porsche 917, unveiled in 1969, stands as a testament to Porsche's commitment to innovation and excellence in motorsport. The 917 has etched its name in the annals of racing history. It was the first 917 to be raced as well as reaching pole position in its first qualifier at the 1969 Circuit De Spa on May 11th, 1969, piloted by Joe Siffert. Its next official race would be shortly after at the 24 hours of Le Mans in June of 1969. This was the first 917 to be raced by Porsche, and it stirred attention from all over. Porsche's journey to create the 917 was marked by ambition and innovation. While their earlier models, like the 904 Carrera GT, 906, and 908 had succeeded, they often fell behind giants like the GT40 and Ferrari Prototypes. Porsche saw an opportunity with the introduction of the 5-liter sports car class, known as Group 4. They embarked on a bold venture to build 25 examples of a 5-liter prototype, aiming for the World Sports Car Championship. One of these was Porsche 917-005, a marvel of engineering. Drawing inspiration from the 908, Porsche engineers crafted a lightweight yet powerful race car. The chassis, made from aluminum instead of steel, weighed a mere 93 lbs. The car's design ensured the driver and the massive 4.5-liter flat-12 engine fit snugly within its compact frame. Every aspect, from the double wishbone suspension system to the titanium-made parts, was meticulously crafted for optimal performance. 917-005 is more than just its technical specifications. It carries a story—one of triumph, passion, and tragedy. British privateer John Woolfe was the first customer of this automotive marvel. John Woolfe was a successful British racing driver known for his participation in various international and domestic racing events such as the 24 hours of LeMans, 1000km of Nurburgring, and Silverstone. He was particularly noted for his skill and competitiveness in sports car racing. Woolfe had competed in numerous races leading up to Le Mans, showcasing his talent and passion for motorsport. Woolfe dreamed of racing the Porsche 917 at the 1969 24 Hours of Le Mans. However, fate had other plans. A tragic accident during the race at LeMans claimed Woolfe's life on June 14th, 1969, marking a somber chapter in the 917-005's history. The death of John Woolfe changed the rules of LeMans forever. After the crash, the car was loaded onto a truck and shipped back to Weissach. From 1969 to the early 1980’s, the car sat under a tarp in Weissach. The damaged car was taken apart and the frame was thrown away before 1982. The car remained the property of John Woolfe Racing. By the early 1980’s, Porsche enthusiast and racing driver Willi Kauhsen purchased a large quantity of 917 spare parts, in which a lot of those parts were from John Woolfe’s 917-005. By January of 2012, the rights to rebuild 917-005 were acquired from David Riswick, the current owner of John Woolfe Racing, and previous business partner of John Woolfe himself. It was then decided that 917-005 needed to be rebuilt to honor John Woolfe’s life and legacy for what he meant to the world of racing, and in the most authentic way possible. With the rights to the car in hand and Norbert Singer as the head engineer of the project, along with Willi Kauhsen who had previous racing experience with Porsche 908’s and 917’s, the rebuild had officially began. Over the next couple of years, the team breathed new life into the memory of the 005, rebuilding the car to its original essence and glory. The team secured the original 917 plans from Porsche. With that, the team sourced the original tubing to build the frame exactly as it was in 1969. The rebuild was sourced with factory Porsche parts from other 917’s, as well as rebuilt parts from Woolfe’s 917 that Willi Kauhsen acquired years prior. The windshield was sourced from extra stock via the original windshield manufacturer, that sat on a shelf unused for 40 years. In doing this, every part is truly authentic and to original specification as it was from 1969. Today, the Porsche 917-005 stands as a symbol of the intertwined nature of motorsport—where innovation meets passion and where dreams are pursued at the very edge of speed and skill. It serves as a poignant reminder of the stories and dreams carried by each car, echoing the spirit of those who dared to push boundaries. Beyond its racing accolades, the 917's cultural impact is undeniable, especially after its starring role in Steve McQueen's movie, "Le Mans." This car wasn't just about speed; it symbolized power, engineering prowess, and a passion for racing. Standing today, this 917 holds a special and significant place in automotive racing history. With every piece being looked over with meticulous detail, 917-005 resembles the memorial of the one and only John Woolfe, as well as preserving the history that this 917 bestowed upon the world. This 917 also has its FIA passport and is qualified to race historic races anywhere in the world. - 1992 Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione 'Group N' by Abarth
With the dawn of the 1990s came the Delta’s roadgoing zenith: the HF Integrale Evoluzione, revealed at the Frankfurt Salon in 1991. A remapped 16-valve turbocharged inline-four boasted 210 horsepower, surmounting the 100 horsepower-per-litre hurdle with ease. Blistered wings opened up space for a widened track and Speedline Monte Carlo wheels. At the rear sat a functional spoiler, while the interior both looked and felt the part with optional bolstered Recaro leather seats with distinctive perforated upholstery. While the road-legal homologation Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione was earning its well-deserved reputation as a superb driver’s car, its competition counterparts were carving out their place in rally history: a debut victory at San Remo in 1989, the first of many wins for the Delta Integrale 16v, contributed to Lancia’s still-unmatched six consecutive World Rally Championship manufacturer’s titles. The Evoluzione was the last Delta that could rightly be called a WRC homologation car following Lancia’s withdrawal from rallying in 1992. This Lancia Delta Evoluzione is no ordinary example, having been commissioned by three doctors who previously provided the Lancia Works rally team with medial support during the 1980s. Looking to acquire a new Group A Delta, they placed an order through their contacts at Lancia when they discovered it would not be possible. This car stands out from other Deltas with its Martini livery, bodywork, and badging—only seen on ‘Martini 5’ editions of the Delta, limited to just 400 units. This Delta features slight exterior tweaks from the factory such as the roof spoiler in black rather than white. Inside, this car differs from a ‘Martini 5’ Delta, though, with the absence of a numbered glovebox plaque and an extremely special Verde Alcantara interior. From its initial delivery in 1992, the three doctors sent the Delta directly to Abarth, where the legendary tuner fitted Group N suspension and 17-inch wheels. It is thought that only a handful of Lancia Delta Evoluziones were ever sent to Abarth for such modifications. A set of period-correct 15-inch wheels and tyres accompany this Delta. First registered to a Giovanni Musatti on 6 July 1992, the three doctors retained the car until 2013 when it was acquired by SRL River Team. Nine years later, the consignor purchased this unique Delta Evoluzione Group N ‘Abarth’ and added it to The Sportiva Collection. In 2016, this Lancia was sent to Abarth Classiche, where it received the desirable certification book and metal display plate. Abarth Classiche noted this vehicle as one of the handful of ‘Group N’ specified Deltas that the company had modified. A version of events from the three doctors, chronicling this car’s conception, is available to view on file (in Italian) along with a photograph of them with the car. This Delta is also certified by the Lancia Registro Storico and is accompanied by its Certificato Di Identitià. Presented today in an unbelievably well persevered state, the odometer reads just 27,641 kilometres at the time of cataloguing. The exterior and interior are in their factory correct configuration and the glove box features a plaque bearing the signatures of the three doctors. An extremely rare example of an Abarth-modified Delta Evoluzione, this Lancia is sure to attract the attention of afficionados and collectors—it is likely an unrepeatable opportunity to acquire such a vehicle. 1992 Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1994 Lamborghini Diablo VT
The Lamborghini Diablo 1990. The bosses at Lamborghini had wished for a maximum speed of at least 320 km/h, and the engineers made this wish come true. With a top speed of 325 km/h and acceleration of 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds, the Diablo claimed the pole position in the super sports cars segment. The Diablo was destined to become the worthy heir of the renowned Miura and Countach. This new supercar was wide, low, and futuristic. And just like its predecessors, it soon became a favorite among car enthusiasts across the world. The Diablo was produced between 1990 and 2001. During this period, Lamborghini introduced several variations of the Diablo concept, which contributed to building Lamborghini's legend and were extremely successful in terms of sales: almost 3,000 units were sold across the world. The iconic Lamborghini V12 aspirated engine has been the roaring heart of many legendary vehicles throughout its nearly 60-year history. The latter includes Lamborghini Diablo, which made history as the first Lamborghini super sports car equipped with all-wheel drive. The Diablo brought the V12 engine to 5.7 liters and then to 6 liters, with an output of 600 CV for on-road models and 655 for the GT1 race model. This Lamborghini Diablo VT Perfect car with excellent history. Bought new by the father of the current owner. Collected personally in Sant' Agata and handed over by legendary factory test driver Valentino Balboni. After some years, he passed the car on to a collector in Austria. There has been one further caretaker, before the car returned to 'its' family in 2014. While the car was excellent, it was decided to refurbish it and take it back to factory condition. This included a full disassembly and professional repaint in its original red, overhaul of all mechanical and electrical systems (all work is documented). Lightly used and regularly serviced since. Full inspection report from an independent German appraiser available (done two years ago). 64,600 mls. 1994 Lamborghini Diablo VT Petrolhead Classics Ltd.
