Compared to almost 2,000 coupés, just 242 examples of the Maserati 3500 GT Spyder with bodywork by Vignale were built. Per the records of Archivio Storico Maserati, chassis number AM101 1391 was originally finished in the metallic gold shade of Oro Longchamps over a Blue Connolly leather interior. Holding a 14 May 1962 date of production, the car was fitted with a carburettor-fed 3.5-litre straight-six equipped with the later and more desirable five-speed ZF manual gearbox ahead of being delivered new to Munich, Germany. Since changed to an attractive opalescent blue hue, the Maserati was purchased by the consigning owner in February 2017. In their care, the car was submitted to Steinke Sportwagenservice of Hamburg to have the transmission, clutch, and braking system overhauled between September 2019 and September 2023 as part of work totalling €39,000 (invoices available to view on file). Recently enjoyed on the October 2025 edition of the Modena Cento Ore, the Maserati covered just shy of 1,000 kilometres over four days with no report issues. Accompanied by a TÜV certificate valid until September 2027, this 3500 GT Spyder by Vignale retains its matching-numbers engine. It would make for an ideal grand tourer to enjoy in a variety of classic car events. 1962 Maserati 3500 GT Spyder by Vignale RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1972-ferrari-246-gts-dino-1
The Ferrari Dino 246 GT in its late "E-Series" form represented the final, most refined chapter of the Dino lineage. Production of the GTS began on the E-Series platform in early 1972 and continued until its conclusion in 1974, with just 1,274 GTS examples built. European-delivery GTS models carried a higher power output and less weight than U.S. versions, also distinguished by their flush-mounted front turn signals. According to research by marque historian Matthias Bartz, this 246 GTS-chassis number 03900-was completed by Scaglietti on 20 April 1972, finished in striking Giallo Fly (Fly Yellow) over a Nero (Black) vinyl interior. The car was equipped from the factory with power windows, a rare addition on European-delivery examples. As an early GTS example, it benefits from the technical improvements implemented in previous series but retains the arguably more attractive L- and M-Series front bumpers which wrap around into the grille. Chassis 03900 was dispatched to Ferrari's French distributor, Charles Pozzi SA in Paris, where it found its first owner, a Mr. Daniel Rouveyran. The Dino remained in France until making its way to the United States in the early 1980s, belonging to a caretaker in Pennsylvania. In 1996, the car passed to Eddie Karam, also of Pennsylvania, who would maintain custody for an impressive 25 years until 2021. That year, the car joined a new caretaker in Ohio, who invested in a comprehensive mechanical refurbishment. This level of care has continued since its acquisition in 2022 by its most recent caretaker, a Los Angeles-based collector of European sports cars, evidenced by a $24,016 investment at Gran Turismo of Los Angeles in May of 2024. Including, but limited to: New fuel pump Oil filter and fluids Brake master cylinder Nnumerous gaskets and seals The cooling system was completely overhauled with radiator repair/re-coring and new hoses Restoration of the steering column switch assembly New aluminum belly covers, proper riveting, and protection in the form of POR-15 coating Fuel system components were renewed throughout The electrical system was thoroughly inspected and improved with new MSD ignition components Countless small details were addressed to bring the car to exemplary mechanical condition. Followed by paint correction and a dry ice cleaning revealing many factory finishes. A Fall 2025 Inspection and Service addressed new fluids, ignition cap, a rebuild of the carburetors and major detailing. According to Bartz's research and report on file, chassis 03900 retains its original, matching-numbers 2.4-liter Tipo 135CS V6 engine (number 0009729) and five-speed transaxle (number 874 E), cloaked in its timeless original Giallo Fly and Nero livery. 1972 Ferrari 246 GTS Dino Driver Source Fine Motorcars If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. The notice and take down procedure is described here: https://www.speedholics.com/copyright The Ferrari Dino 246 GT in its late "E-Series" form represented the final, most refined chapter of the Dino lineage. Introduced in Florence in 1972, the Maserati Khamsin represents the last classic Gran Turismo. It is powered by a 4.9-litre V8 engine developed from the Tipo 54 racing unit. The body was designed by Marcello Gandini and built by Bertone. Only 435 examples were produced between 1974 and 1982. This Maserati was delivered in 1975 in Paris through Thépanier to its first owner, Dr Peron of Neuilly. The original owner passed away in 1981. During the first five years the car was driven only 22,377 km, after which it was stored for more than 34 years and remained untouched until 2014. It is therefore a largely unmolested original vehicle. In 2015 it was sold to its second owner. Subsequently, the entire technical side was extensively overhauled, as documented by the available invoices. The underbody was dry-ice blasted, cosmetically refurbished, and preserved. The original French registration document accompanies the car. This Maserati offers you the rare opportunity to acquire a superbly preserved example with a total mileage of only 26,097 km. 1976 Maserati Khamsin Thiesen Hamburg GmbH If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. The Datsun 240Z is one of the most legendary Japanese sports coupes of the 1970s – and is now considered an absolute classic. The model offered here is a 1973 model intended for the US market, which was imported to Switzerland in 2016. It has been extensively repainted and optimized with a “Stage 1” performance upgrade by Swiss “Z specialist” Classic Car Performance. At the same time, the chassis, brakes, and transmission were also adapted to the increase in performance. The investments amounted to just under CHF 40,000 and are documented. The pictures speak for themselves: this Datsun 240Z, owned by an enthusiast, freshly serviced and MOT veteran, is in fantastic condition and has been meticulously maintained. The many optimizations contribute significantly to this coupe’s ability to evoke passionate driving emotions in everyone. At the Tokyo Motor Show at the end of 1969, Nissan presented a new closed sports car as the successor to the Datsun Fairlady, which was marketed in Japan as the Fairlady and abroad as the Datsun 240Z. The appearance of the 240Z was a sensation. The trade press drew comparisons with the MGB, the Jaguar E-Type, and the Porsche 911 – but in reality, the car was incomparable. Technically and visually, its appearance marked a whole new class of car. Originally designed exclusively for the US market, this sports coupé became the world’s best-selling sports car in less than ten years. 1973 Datsun 240Z Lutziger Classic Cars AG If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. This isn't just about remaking a classic; it's about elevating it with superior materials like aircraft-grade aluminum, blending the past's charm with today's engineering marvels. Collaboration with Shelby American is the cherry on top. It's not just a seal of authenticity; it’s a nod to the Cobra's storied past. For collectors and enthusiasts, this car is more than a vehicle; it's a piece of history, a tangible link to a golden era of motoring. For some, it is the sound of a big block FE engine rumbling through the ceramic-coated side pipes and the brutal acceleration that pushes you back when you hit the gas. Others can’t help but stare at the curvaceous fenders and are drawn in by the beautiful craftsmanship of the metallic blue aluminum body with 2 matte grey racing stripes down the center. From the oil cooler and hood scoop to the roll bar and fender flares, this car is all about performance. Power comes from a 427ci Shelby aluminum-block V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. The engine was dyno’d and produced 514 LB-FT Torque and 507 H.P. The vehicle features quick-jack bumperettes, aluminum fuel filler cap, a roll hoop, Cobra-branded wind wings, side-exit exhausts, and 427 Cobra fender badges. The cockpit features black bucket seats with matching black wool carpets and door liners, along with Simpson lap belts. Features include a dashboard-mounted rear-view mirror as well as a fire extinguisher and a power cutoff switch located behind the seats. The wood-rimmed steering wheel features a Cobra center cap and fronts Smiths and Lucas instrumentation including an 8k-rpm tachometer, a 180-mph reverse-sweep speedometer, and auxiliary gauges. 1966 Shelby Kirkham Cobra Canepa If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1959 Mercedes-Benz 190 SL
In 1953, Mercedes-Benz told its American importer Max Hoffman of its plans to build a roadster based on the pontoon sedan. Hoffman didn't see the point unless the model was as similar as possible to the spectacular 300 SL "butterfly doors". It was finally decided to offer a roadster prototype at the 1954 New York show. The development of the roadster was extremely rapid. The first sketches were ready after only two weeks, followed by a model after four weeks, a 1:5 model after twelve weeks and a 1:1 wooden model after twenty weeks. After a total of 150 days, the prototype itself was on display at the New York Auto Show! But the operation could never have gone so fast without a few tricks of the trade. The new roadster borrowed as many parts as possible from the Mercedes 180, including the chassis, which was simply shortened to form a self-supporting construction with the body. The Mercedes-Benz 190SL was presented in February 1954 at the New York Motor Show as a prototype. With this model, the German brand wanted to capture a share of the booming roadster market in the USA. The response to the New York show was so enthusiastic that Mercedes-Benz decided to go into series production. The 190 SL made its official debut at the 1955 Geneva Motor Show, where it was presented in three versions: a convertible A (the name traditionally used by Mercedes-Benz for its two-seater convertibles at the time), a coupe with a removable roof ('hard top') and a coupe-cabriolet equipped with both a removable roof and a canvas top. Since Mercedes-Benz felt that its 190 SL was already generously equipped, it designed a deliberately short option list. Buyers could still customize their car with leather upholstery and a custom luggage set, tires with white sidewalls, a passenger-side exterior mirror, and fog lights. But the most popular accessory was definitely the Becker radio. The interior was also tastefully finished: the metal dashboard was painted in the body color, while the top and bottom were covered with the same fabric as the seats. The feature that everyone really agreed on, however, was the beauty of the design, which was irresistibly reminiscent of the 300 SL. The 190 SL had a certain sex appeal and would play a role in many movies of the time. Compared to the 1954 prototype, the production car has the gearshift lever on the floor instead of on the steering wheel. The latter solution would have cost less but would not have pleased the American customers. The production 190SL also lacks the hood-mounted air intake of the prototype. The Mercedes-Benz 190SL is meant to be a dynamic car while offering the seriousness of a Mercedes-Benz. However, the manufacturer made the mistake of presenting the car as a sports car. It is not really the case, and the critics arrived. The gear ratio was quickly shortened to give the car a little more character. Despite this lack of sportiness, the car was a success and the public liked the civilized character of the 190SL. Although the letters SL stand for "Sport Leicht" or light sport, the public quickly perceives that, after the 300SL which is a racing car adapted to the road, the 190 SL is more a touring car, fast and comfortable, allowing to swallow long distances without difficulty. This philosophy is fully reflected in the following generations of SL, which then become luxury cars. The car was not equipped with a 6-cylinder engine like the 300 SL but with a more sober and modern four-cylinder engine of 1,897 cm3. The engine, equipped with two Solex carburetors, finally developed 105 hp at 5,700 rpm. It was coupled to a 4-speed mechanical gearbox. This set, without allowing a sporting temperament, ensures a good dynamism to the car. The line is aesthetically close to the 300 SL, but it is now a two-seater convertible. The popular 190SL had a long career, so much so that it achieved its second-best production year in 1960, five years after its launch. The 190SL was produced in 26,000 units. The SL W113 Pagoda succeeded it in the spring of 1963 and was placed higher up the range thanks to its 6-cylinder engine. In spite of an initial design not very sporty, the 190SL was available on request in a single-seater version with aluminum doors without windows, without handles with a tonneau cover and Plexiglas windscreen. Thus, Mercedes-Benz 190SL were entered privately in some races. The factory also entered a 190SL with a fuel-injected engine in the 1955 Mille Miglia race. A 190SL won the 1958 Hong Kong Rally, and in 1959 a private crew fitted an OM621 diesel engine with 60 hp in a 190SL. It set a new 24-hour record on the Hockenheim circuit at an average speed of 124.1 km/h. Our car, registered in 1959, is presented in a splendid grey coat accompanied by a cartier red interior with a superb patina and the highly desirable Becker car radio option. The car is accompanied by its Hard top and benefited from a careful restoration many years ago before its purchase by the current owner in 2002. The previous owner had cherished it since 1995. You will find in this car all the charm and elegance of the model. It is in very good condition, both aesthetically and mechanically, having been meticulously maintained, as evidenced by the impressive file of invoices accumulated over the 50,000km the owner has driven it. It's sure to delight fans of this iconic roadster, and will accompany you on all your travels with grace and suppleness. 1959 Mercedes-Benz 190 SL Historic Cars If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. Supplied with comprehensive history file containing copies of the original Italian registration, various service and sundry invoices, UK V5, owners handbooks and tool rolls, the 365 GT 2+2 can genuinely fit four adults in comfort and style and is therefore the most practical of all 1960s Ferrari models Other Cars from Dylan Miles Ltd 1973-Datsun-240Z-MZR-Roadsports-01.jpg 1973-Datsun-240Z-MZR-Roadsports-02.jpg 1973-Datsun-240Z-MZR-Roadsports-15.jpg 1973-Datsun-240Z-MZR-Roadsports-01.jpg 1/15 1973 Datsun 240Z MZR Roadsports Dylan Miles Ltd United Kingdom 1964-Lotus-Elan-26R-Specification-01.jpg 1964-Lotus-Elan-26R-Specification-02.jpg 1964-Lotus-Elan-26R-Specification-15.jpg 1964-Lotus-Elan-26R-Specification-01.jpg 1/15 1964 Lotus Elan 26R Specification Dylan Miles Ltd United Kingdom 1974-Jaguar-V12-E-Type-01.jpg 1974-Jaguar-V12-E-Type-02.jpg 1974-Jaguar-V12-E-Type-15.jpg 1974-Jaguar-V12-E-Type-01.jpg 1/15 1974 Jaguar V12 E-Type Dylan Miles Ltd United Kingdom Last Featured Cars 1978-Ferrari-308-GTS-01.jpg 1978-Ferrari-308-GTS-02.jpg 1978-Ferrari-308-GTS-20.jpg 1978-Ferrari-308-GTS-01.jpg 1/20 1978 Ferrari 308 GTS LBI Limited Pennsylvania 1976-Ferrari-Dino-308-GT4-01.jpg 1976-Ferrari-Dino-308-GT4-02.jpg 1976-Ferrari-Dino-308-GT4-20.jpg 1976-Ferrari-Dino-308-GT4-01.jpg 1/20 1976 Ferrari Dino 308 GT4 Lutziger Classic Cars AG Switzerland 1967-Bizzarrini-5300-GT-Strada-01.jpg 1967-Bizzarrini-5300-GT-Strada-02.jpg 1967-Bizzarrini-5300-GT-Strada-09.jpg 1967-Bizzarrini-5300-GT-Strada-01.jpg 1/9 1967 Bizzarrini 5300 GT Strada Speed8 Classics Belgium

The two-door Alfa Romeo Giulia GT coupé, widely known to the public as the Alfa Bertone, complemented the four-door Alfa Romeo Giulia saloon from 1963 to 1975. The GT, with its distinctive body designed by Bertone, was available over the years with engines ranging from 1.3 to 2.0 liters. To differentiate between the models, Alfa Romeo used additional designations such as Sprint, Junior, Veloce and GTV seemingly at random. The body of the Giulia GT was created in Bertone's Turin studio under the direction of its head of design, Giorgetto Giugiaro. A special design feature of the early GT models is the horizontal gap between the front apron and the bonnet, which looks like an edge. In view of this, the GTs of the early years are also called ‘edge bonnet’. The 1750 GT Veloce, introduced in 1968, was the first GT to feature a redesigned front end without the edge; at the same time, the indicators were moved from the wing edges to the front of the car under the radiator grille. With the exception of the GTA, all other GT models also received the smooth front end until 1972. The edge bonnet GT with 1.3-litre engine offered here was first registered in Italy on 19 February 1970. The history of this attractive coupé is unknown. Several years ago, the GT 1300 Junior was presumably restored and finally taken over by the consignor in 2018 and imported to Switzerland in 2019. Since then, it has spent most of its time in the consignor's museum and has rarely been driven. The Alfa is currently in very good condition, with a sound body, beautiful paintwork and an almost immaculate light beige faux leather interior. The last veteran was completed in March 2024. 1970 Alfa Romeo GT 1300 Junior Oldtimer Galerie International GmbH If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer.
