  • 1969 Lancia Fulvia Coupé Rallye 1.6 HF 'Fanalone'

The Fulvia’s influence on rally racing cannot be understated. At the peak of its evolution before replacement by the Stratos HF in 1974, the 1.6-litre HF (High Fidelity) car, bearing the name of HF Squadra Corse, gave Lancia the means in which to win multiple European Rally Championships races from 1970 to 1972. This was followed by topping the latter year’s International Championship for Manufacturers; a second Makes championship win followed two years later in the revamped World Rally Championship. As an ultimate road car, the Fulvia Coupé Rallye 1.6 HF had few contenders. A 75 millimetre stroke and 82 millimetre bore gave Lancia’s engineers a 1,584 cc engine, enough to make 114 brake horsepower with a 10.5:1 compression ratio; 135 brake horsepower (and later 165 brake horsepower) was soon possible thanks to larger twin 45 millimetre carburettors, greater camshafts, and higher compression pistons. Nicknamed ‘Fanalone’ owing to its larger-than-standard inner-spotlights, this particular 1.6 HF was delivered in August 1969 to a Mr Carranza Amedeo D'Inzillo through Andrea Martin Agostini, the Lancia concessionaria in Catanzaro, Italy. Originally wearing the registration “84927 CS”, it was re-registered as “Y64174” by 13 May 1981, as D’Inzillo had sold the car to its next owner in Rome. Its most recent registration was issued in 1986, to a Pietro Ghisoni, and has stayed with the car since. Two generations of Ghisoni had restoration work performed on the car, in 1988 and 1995, comprising a respray, retrim, and mechanical work, documented in the service history (available to view on file). During the rebuild, the black interior was retained while the exterior was sprayed in Grigio Escoli Metallizzato, a grey metallic hue popular on later Fulvia Coupés. It later came to be owned by The Sportiva Collection in 2020. This attractive Fulvia is a mouthwatering prospect for those captivated by Lancia’s rallying exploits. It is offered for sale with a toolkit, an impressive history file documenting its restoration and Italian ownership chain, further to paperwork from Automotoclub Storico Italia and a Certificato di Identità issued by the Lancia Club. 1969 Lancia Fulvia Rallye 1.6 HF 'Fanalone' RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1963-maserati-3500-gti-spyder-by-vignale

Just 242 examples of the Maserati 3500 GT Spyder were completed between 1959 and 1964, with coachbuilder Vignale tasked with styling the model’s transformation from coupé to convertible. Factory records note that chassis number AM101 1453 holds a February 1963 production date. As a late car, the 3.5-litre straight-six swapped carburettors in favour of Lucas fuel injection to deliver 235 brake horsepower via a five-speed ZF manual gearbox. Finished in Nero over a Cinghiale interior, this GTi was delivered to Mr Antonio Turati of Milan. The car remained in the city under the care of its second owner before it was exported to Sweden, where it was enjoyed by Mr Uno Lingmark for more than 15 years. The Maserati is believed to have then arrived in the United Kingdom and was changed to silver over red upholstery. Come 1988, the Spyder was sold at auction and registered by Mr Jack Levy of North Devon. He commissioned Maserati specialist Bill McGrath with a restoration before selling in 1995, at which point New Jersey resident Mr Larry Auriana took ownership. Following a spell in Stamford, Connecticut, the Spyder was acquired by a custodian based in Huddersfield, United Kingdom. Chassis number 1453 was sold again in January 2008, with the new keeper taking it back to United States to live in Houston, Texas. The Maserati was next owned in Vienna. While in the Austrian capital, Frantz Classic Cars of Vösendorf embarked upon a second restoration. The engine was rebuilt at a cost €10,247 (invoice available to view on file) before the bodywork was prepared and repainted by Carrozzeria Autosport of Modena for €78,862. It is believed that between 2018 and 2019, the 3500 GTi made its way to Bacchelli & Villa in Modena to be returned to its factory colours, as the car presents in today. Subsequently, it was acquired by the British consignor in 2022. Most recently, between May and November 2024, it returned to McGrath Maserati. The inlet manifold, water pump, and exhaust were rebuilt, the wiring tweaked, plus the front suspension, gearbox, brakes, and steering system refreshed in work totalling £43,671. Please note, while the engine number appears to have been restamped, the internal number is confirmed as correct by Maserati Archivio Storico. Equipped with fuel injection, a ZF gearbox, disc brakes, and Borrani wire wheels, here is one of the most desirably specified examples of the Maserati 3500 GTi Spyder. It is made more appealing courtesy of being accompanied by an aluminium hardtop and sizeable history file. 1963 Maserati 3500 GTi Spyder by Vignale RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1963 Aston Martin DB5

Originally registered on 1 December 1963 – the first year of production – this Aston Martin DB5 has led a full life with its exclusively UK-based owners. Chassis number DB5/1957/R was supplied via Brooklands of Bond Street in the colour combination of Caribbean Pearl with red interior. It was fitted with the five-speed ZF gearbox and it’s thought that its first owner worked for Manger & Henley Ltd of Borough High Street. In the mid-1980s it was acquired by John Goldsmith, who had set up marque specialist Goldsmith & Young in 1980. Registered 73 GYL, it was the second Aston that Goldsmith had owned – after his GT-engined Series 5 DB4 Vantage – and he later recalled buying it from the father of his friend Tim Bisset. At that time, it was still painted Caribbean Pearl. Goldsmith was a keen racer and set about using his DB5 in competition, giving it wider arches in order to accommodate different wheels and tyres. He successfully raced it across the UK at circuits such as Oulton Park, and set the lap record around the Indy Circuit at Brands Hatch. When Goldsmith sold the car in 1991, he retained the numberplate 73 GYL, which was subsequently seen on the DB4 GT Zagato that he raced. The DB5, meanwhile, passed to a Mr Pitkethley – another marque enthusiast who also owned a DB6 – and was registered XMR 936A. In 2000, the engine was rebuilt and enlarged to 4.2 litres with Cosworth pistons. The Aston was also repainted Silver Birch and the interior was retrimmed in black. During the early 2000s, it made a number of appearances at charity and corporate events as part of the Character Cars fleet and was always fastidiously maintained. Recent work has included a new head gasket at Bell Sport Classic and this matching-numbers Aston Martin DB5 is now offered for sale by The Classic Motor Hub with an extensive history file and its original handbook. 1963 Aston Martin DB5 The Classic Motor Hub If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. The notice and take down procedure is described here: https://www.speedholics.com/copyright Originally registered on 1 December 1963 – the first year of production – this Aston Martin DB5 has led a full life with its exclusively UK-based owners. • 1990 Ferrari Testarossa

On the evening of 2 October 1984, Ferrari VIPs and the world’s motoring press might have enjoyed a glass of Dom Perignon in celebrious surroundings. As anticipation builds, moments after perhaps discussing the signing of the recent agreement to return Hong Kong to the Chinese—scheduled for the distant future of 1997—the lights go out at the Lido Club in Paris. Amid gasps of surprise, a large plinth lowers from the ceiling, a single beam illuminating what’s poised atop. Moments later, the first glimpse of something radiant in Rosso Corsa is uncovered, Ferrari’s new and transcendent Testarossa. While these lucky few weren’t the first to savour the straked splendour of Ferrari’s mid-1980s GT—select dealers were invited to Maranello a month earlier—word of mouth from those invited that night, and the subsequent prose that flowed from motoring magazines, helped turn the Testarossa into a totemic titan of its time. Over the following week, three Testarossas were presented to the Parisian public. One remained at the Lido—immortalised by a photograph, amidst what must have been bemused traffic, in the middle of the Champs-Élysées. The other pair were found across town in the Porte de Versailles, pride of place at the Salon de l'Automobile. Designers Pininfarina placed one proudly, while the other formed part of Ferrari’s own display. The three-pronged approach certainly seemed to work, as 37 orders were allegedly taken during the car’s public debut. Fast forward six years and this Testarossa lands on the Isle of Man, where it’s greeted by its first keeper, a certain Ferrari driver of some notoriety. Nigel Mansell is recorded on the car’s Warranty Card as the first keeper, taking delivery from Ferrari Deutschland GmbH on 13 March 1990. During that year, when he wasn’t staying at his newly completed Manx mansion, Mansell was racing Ferrari’s 641 in his final season for the Scuderia. The Testarossa features a commemorative plaque in the door jamb that marks its ownership by Mansell. Furthermore, stamps from Nigel Mansell Sports Cars Limited of Dorset punctuate its early maintenance history in the accompanying service book. It is thought that by the end of 1990, the Ferrari had been acquired by its second owner, with the car then wearing a private registration until 1995. More recently, from 2021 to 2024, this Testarossa has been maintained at the hands of marque specialist Emblem Sports Cars, Dorset. Work included taking the car out of storage, changing the cam belt, removal and refurbishment of the alternator, radiator and starter motor, replacement of brake and coolant hoses, and more (invoices available to view on file). Notes in the service book suggest that the car’s speedometer was replaced on 27 May 1997, at which point the odometer read 8,333 miles. At the time of cataloguing, the replacement unit read 2,269 miles. Presented in the timeless Ferrari shade of Rosso Corsa and retaining its matching-numbers engine, the provenance of this storied Testarossa will no doubt appeal to Ferrari and Formula 1 fans alike. 1990 Ferrari Testarossa RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. Delivered new to Edmondo Lamborghini —brother of the marque’s founder, Ferruccio Lamborghini—this early example of the seminal Lamborghini 350 GT offers a captivating connection to the formative years of the legendary Italian manufacturer. While Ferruccio’s name would soon become synonymous with flamboyant supercars, Edmondo was widely regarded as a man of more understated taste. He was a discreet gentleman, who played a meaningful supporting role as his elder brother established what would become one of the most famous supercar manufacturers that is today valued as a multi-billion-dollar operation. Following its final factory test on 15 October 1964, the car was delivered the next day to Edmondo finished in Rosso Matador over Nero upholstery. As the ninth production example built by Lamborghini, chassis number 0110 emerged during a formative period before certain components were fully standardised, offering a compelling glimpse into the developmental phase of the marque’s earliest road cars. More recently, chassis 0110 benefited from a comprehensive restoration carried out by a consortium of respected Italian specialists, culminating in a refinish in Azzurro Acrilico Metallizzato. The striking metallic turquoise blue was selected by the current owner to echo the original livery of the first 350 GT, chassis 0101—whose sinuous, forward-looking lines were initially presented in this hue before being repainted by the factory in Verde Ginevra for the 1964 Geneva Motor Show. A statement on file from renowned Lamborghini test driver Valentino Balboni verifies his involvement with the restoration. In July 2021, the car was certified by Lamborghini Polo Storico as retaining its matching-numbers chassis, engine, and Touring Superleggera aluminium coachwork. Presented at the 2023 Classic Club Italia concours in Stresa, Italy—held in honour of Lamborghini’s 60th anniversary—the car was awarded both Best in Show and 1st place in the Lamborghini Cup, “Orgoglio Italiano”. It is accompanied by an estratto cronologico, Polo Storico Certificate of Authenticity and Vehicle History overview, plus build sheet copies. Beautifully maintained under the care of a knowledgeable and meticulous custodian, chassis 0110 represents a rare opportunity to acquire a highly authentic and distinctive 350 GT from the earliest days of the Sant’Agata marque, equally suited for top-tier concours competition or refined touring, and standing as an elegant classic and significant milestone in supercar history. 1964 Lamborghini 350 GT by Touring RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. The Aston Martin Virage Volante from the 1990s is a rare and particularly luxurious grand tourer that belongs to Aston Martin’s transitional period – it was one of Aston Martin’s last true “handcrafted cars” before the complete takeover by Ford. The Aston Martin Virage Volante offered here is a very early example and probably the first left-hand drive of the series with chassis no. #2. Of the approximately 234 examples built, only about 90-100 were left-hand drive. It was delivered new to a Swiss collection in November 1992 in red with a gray Connolly leather interior and the rare 5-speed manual transmission by Roos Engineering in Frauenkappelen. The car was then sold from the aforementioned collection in July 1999 with just under 3,000 km on the odometer and was registered for road use for the first time. This beautiful Aston Martin Virage Volante has been regularly serviced by Aston Martin experts and is in completely original condition with just about 30,000 km. The on-board folder with all original documents such as the owner’s handbook, operating instructions, and the complete and neatly kept service booklet and exhaust maintenance document are available. 1992 Aston Martin Virage Volante Lutziger Classic Cars AG If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. Production of the 365 GTB/4, which became known under its unofficial designation ‘Daytona’, began in 1969. The suffix ‘GTB/4’ is made up of GTB for ‘Grand Tourismo Berlinetta’ and the number 4 for four overhead camshafts. The 365 GTB/4 Daytona became the symbol of a ‘man’s car’, as Auto, Motor und Sport retrospectively put it. According to available documents, the Ferrari presented here was delivered in Italy in 1972 and was part of an important collection there for many years. At the end of the 1990s, the car ended up in Switzerland before being acquired by a German Ferrari enthusiast in 2013. A few years ago, the car was extensively restored. In this context, the engine, gearbox, drivetrain, differential, steering and chassis were completely overhauled by Roelofs Engineering, one of the leading specialists for classic V12 Ferraris in Europe. The original on-board documents and a Ferrari Classiche are available. • 1967 Maserati Mistral 1

As the 1960s progressed, Maserati made great strides in asserting itself as the go-to Italian manufacturer for attractive cars in the grand tourer mould. Of its contemporary model line-up, the marque’s 3500 GT and 5000 GT were stunning examples of coachbuilt coupé and convertible design. In 1963, the Mistral was introduced to replace the 3500 GT and was the company’s last model to feature its signature twin-spark, double-overhead cam straight-six engine derived from Maserati’s successful racing endeavours. While still in ownership of the Orsi family and prior to its takeover by Citroën, Maserati revealed the Ghibli, Mexico, and Sebring in quick succession to join the Mistral and bolster its GT offering. When production of the Mistral commenced, a stiffer and shorter chassis composed of square-section tubular elements allowed the new model to distinguish itself from the Sebring by its more sporting character. Further advances were made from a stylistic perspective, with Pietro Frua penning an elegant and contemporary body for the car. The Spyder version was introduced shortly after the coupé, with no fewer than three engine variants of Maserati’s famous race-proven straight-six. Offered here in 4.0-litre form, the largest and most desirable engine, the car is endowed with dazzling performance; the sprint from 0 to 60 mph can be achieved in just over six seconds, and has a top speed of over 150 mph. In the end, only 37 examples of the 4.0-litre variant of the Spyder were produced, making this car not only the ultimate version of the Mistral, but also exceptionally rare. This example, chassis AM109/SA 655, was specified from new with the desirable five-speed manual gearbox and finished in Nero over a Senape interior. Upon factory completion on 9 January 1967, the Maserati was destined for West Nyack, New York, USA. The car’s history in the States is only partially documented, with a title from the State of Florida retained in its history file confirming the Mistral’s whereabouts in 1974, yet by the end of the decade the Spyder had come into the ownership of Kyle W. Fleming, a Maserati specialist based in Virginia Beach. Fleming acquired the car as a partially dismantled project and sought to improve it before selling on, but at this point the Mistral caught the eye of a London-based buyer, who bought and imported the car. Incredibly, they would retain the Maserati for the next 41 years. Among the Maserati’s impressive history file—containing decades worth of invoices and paperwork to document its import into the United Kingdom and subsequent improvements—Fleming writes in a 7 November 1980 letter to its British buyer: ‘It is not good or even in running condition. The previous owner removed and dismantled the engine, but carried out no mechanical work … An inspection indicates that extensive work is required and this sale would be with this understood … The car has been for many years (in) the Florida Keys, which would account for salt and sun damage.’ The Maserati’s new British owner was clearly not deterred by the Mistral’s state of disorder, as by July 1981 the car was bound for the UK in a shipping container departing Norfolk, Virginia. On taking delivery of their newly acquired Maserati, its owner—a former Secretary of the Maserati Owners’ Club—began an incredible journey of restoration and ongoing improvements to the car. Invoices on file detail even small items of trim bought during the restoration process, with work on the body and chassis left to CRL Panels of Wymondham, Norfolk, and the marque specialist Bill McGrath to oversee an engine rebuild. Throughout the owner’s multi-decade tenure of the car, McGrath continued to maintain the Maserati even into recent years. While in the workshop, the Mistral was refinished in white with black leather trim, sporting the same configuration it is presented in today. In 2022, the Maserati was acquired by its consigning owner, ending its 41-year stay with its long-term owner and reviver. The condition of the car today is commensurate with its many decades of care and attention at the hands of its previous owner. Its polished chrome brightwork complements the polished Borrani wire wheels, while the excellent white paintwork makes for the perfect contrast against the all-black leather interior. A wood-rimmed steering wheel with a Maserati-badged boss sits proudly in the Spyder’s cabin, which is enriched with the fitment of a period Maserati Autovox stereo. Underneath the bonnet, a clean and well-kept engine bay is testament to the fastidious upkeep detailed in the Mistral’s service invoices. With a simply unrepeatable story of commitment and devotion from its multi-decade custodian, verified by the most fascinating and intricately detailed history file, the opportunity to acquire this matching-numbers Maserati represents an incredible chance to benefit from year after year of unbridled care and attention heaped upon a stunning car with both attractive design and rewarding driving traits. 1967 Maserati Mistral RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1963 Ferrari 250 GT/L Berlinetta Lusso by Fantuzzi

Sitting between Ferrari’s more overtly sporting models and its larger luxury cars, the 250 GT/L Berlinetta—often referred to as the “Lusso”, which is Italian for luxury—was the last road-going derivative from the marque’s celebrated, long-running 250 GT series. Unveiled as a prototype at the Paris Motor Show in 1962, the stunning steel-bodied coupé remained in production until late-1964. Most featured now-classic Pininfarina designs that were built by Scaglietti, before being finished at the Ferrari factory. While the Lusso earned some competition success, with a privateer car notably placing 13th overall in the 1964 running of the Targa Florio endurance road race, it was primarily conceived—and enjoyed best of all—as a fast and luxurious road car. The powertrain came in the form of the well-proven 2,953 cc Colombo V-12, with a single overhead camshaft per cylinder bank, mated to a four-speed, all-synchromesh gearbox. Tuned more for road use versus other Ferrari 250 models, the wet-sump unit—equipped with three twin-choke Weber carburettors—was still particularly potent. One of the most powerful production cars of the time, with 240 brake horsepower served at 7,500 rpm, it was enough to propel the Lusso to a top speed just shy of 150 mph. Yet it’s not the performance credentials alone that ensure the Lusso is still revered to this day. Widely regarded as one of the most elegant shapes ever to wear the Prancing Horse badge, this model was epitomised by its elegant, sweeping lines and curved rear screen that ultimately flowed into the fastback “Kamm” tail finish. At the front, early cars left Maranello sporting the low egg crate-style front grille—similar to that of its 250 GT SWB Berlinetta predecessor. This example, chassis 4383, was the 16th of the 350 Lussos constructed. According to the records of marque historian Marcel Massini, the car was completed by the factory on 20 March 1963. Originally painted in Grigio Argento over a Nero Connolly leather interior, it was supplied to Ferrari’s official dealer, Società Italiana Veicoli Agriculturali e Motori, in Bologna on 4 April. Five days later, the car was sold for the princely sum of 5,750,000 Italian lire to first owner, Luciano Pederzani. He and his brother Gianfranco had, only two years previously, co-founded the Tecno Racing Team. Originally building racing karts, during Luciano’s ownership of the Lusso, the outfit would establish itself as a successful manufacturer of Formula 3 cars, purportedly winning 32 out of 65 races during the 1967 season. The first of these victories was earned by future Ferrari Formula 1 race winner Clay Regazzoni. During this time, chassis 4383 was maintained by the Ferrari factory’s Assistenza Clienti in Modena. By February of 1964, the Ferrari was registered on the Italian targa “BO 179199”. Thereafter, the car would begin to evolve from its original specification to become the unique example that it is today. Firstly, in around 1965, a later 250 GT Lusso engine (5193 GT) was installed. Then, Pederzani went to the person styling his Tecno creations and asked him to partially rebody his road car. Former Ferrari race car designer Medardo Fantuzzi, based in Modena, modified the coachwork to more resemble that of the 330 LMB competition model. This included adopting a smaller, rounded grille, switching to two (rather than three) bumperettes, plus setting the headlights further back in the wings, and fairing them in with Plexiglass covers. This Lusso was exported to New York City, USA in 1968, and sold again five years later, remaining in the state. In 1976, its new Texas-based owner commissioned the addition of three 250 GTO-style intakes above the front grille, plus vents behind the rear wheel arches inspired by the same model, and repainted the car to red. The following year, new ownership led this example to be shipped to Honolulu after which it spent the following 28 years in Hawaii, changing hands four times. In 2005, the Lusso returned to mainland America, the new San Francisco-based keeper displaying it at Monterey Car Week that year, before returning for the following two editions. In 2011, chassis 4383 was sent to the UK for a full restoration at DK Engineering. Completed to a concours standard, 250 GTO moulds and drawings were precisely scaled to authentically finish the one-off bodywork. This car then returned to DK Engineering the year after for a mechanical rebuild, and to be finished in its present classic Ferrari red over tan interior. It was subsequently displayed at Walton Hall for the Ferrari Owners’ Club GB annual meeting in 2013, before being sold to radio and TV broadcaster Chris Evans, an avid collector of the marque. Through JD Classics, the Lusso was then bought by its consigning owner. Its most recent keeper has enjoyed the car at shows and events; in 2015 it was displayed on the Cartier Style et Luxe concours lawn at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, and it later appeared as part of the “Seeing Red” tribute to Ferrari in the Earls Court Motor Show recreation at Goodwood Revival. The Ferrari has since been maintained by GTO Engineering, with many invoices available to view on file. Chassis 4383 boasts a compelling continuous history that not only includes a significant player in 1960s single seater racing as its original keeper, but more recent custodianship by Evans, one of the UK’s best-known media personalities. The car’s early bodywork adaptions by Fantuzzi make this 250 GT/L Berlinetta, a model which is already a particularly rare and special, a truly unique ownership proposition. 1963 Ferrari 250 GT/L Berlinetta Lusso by Fantuzzi RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1973 Jaguar E-Type Series 3

Arguably the most well recognized sports car of the 20th century, the Jaguar E-type offers a perfect combination of sleek lines and high-performance. Just as it did when first revealed to the public in 1961, it is still igniting passions today. The iconic Jaguar E-Type has evolved over the years. The initial 3.8-liter model had a lack of footwell space, uncomfortable seats, massive brake fade and an engine prone to overheating – yet it was loved. Ten years and numerous improvements later, Jaguar launched a V12 engine in its E-Type, transforming it with an infusion of torque and horsepower. Along with the engine, other significant modifications were made, including power steering and power brakes. The result was a very fine and quite sophisticated, grand touring car ready to conquer the winding roads with grace. This 1973 Jaguar E-Type Series III V12 is dressed in a striking shade of red with a well-preserved black leather interior and a black soft top. It was delivered new Left-Hand-Drive to the United States, NY in 1973. At that time, the car was painted in Turquoise with a dark blue interior. Here is the list of its options and equipment: leather steering wheel / Becker Mexico radio / black leather seats / black floor mats / air conditioning / black fabric soft top / 15″ spoke wheels / two windshield wipers / Stromberg carburetor / four exhaust outlets / radio antenna / burgundy belts / headrests The chassis no. UE1S23595BW still has its number matching V12 engine as shown on its Jaguar Heritage Certificate. The Jaguar E-Type Series 3 holds a Belgian road registration as oldtimer. It is in good condition and drives well. After being imported in Europe via Italy, it was bought in April 2015 by a Belgian passionate who cherished the car for 8 years and drove it regularly to take part in historical rallyes, including two in South Africa. The current owner used it only on special occasions. Today, the odometer shows a mileage of 25.750 miles. For the last ten years, the E-Type has been regularly maintained by a Belgian specialist who did the following works in April 23 : complete maintenance and lubrication / oil filter change / expansion vessel replacement / 2 new rear shock absorbers / carburetor overhaul / headlight adjustment / front winch geometry and steering wheel centering / starter fastening / 12 spark plugs. 1973 Jaguar E-Type Series 3 AD Sportscars If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer.
