  • 1988 Mercedes-Benz 560SL 1

Released in 1971, the code R107 chassis Mercedes-Benz has endured as a status symbol for over 50 years. Richly featured, impeccably well built, and powerful, this third generation of the Sportlich-Leicht class further developed the luxury tourer concept atop the foundations laid by the previous code W113 chassis. Produced for just shy of 20 model years, the R107 both starred in films and competed in overland endurance rallies in some of the harshest environments the planet has to offer. This duality further cemented Mercedes-Benz’s status as one of the foremost manufacturers of wonderfully engineered automobiles. Beloved by millions, the third generation of the SL roadster stands as one of the true greats. As shown on the vehicle’s maintenance booklet, this wonderful example of the Mercedes-Benz 560 SL was delivered new to Kansas City, Missouri finished in Signal Red paint over a Palomino leather interior with a black soft top fabric, in addition to the Signal Red hardtop. This convertible additionally left the factory with a Becker Mexico radio, heated front seats, automatic climate control, and power mirrors. Interestingly, the rear spoiler was eliminated as an option. The Carfax indicates this Mercedes-Benz made its way to California before being imported to Canada in 2010. By this point, roughly 32,000 miles showed on the odometer. The car would eventually enter the Dare to Dream Collection one year later, and it displays 47,101 miles on the odometer at time of cataloguing. A wonderful companion for sunny, fair-weather drives, this 560 SL exhibits the Stuttgart firm’s finest virtues: exceptional build quality, a robust powerplant, and effortless style. 1988 Mercedes-Benz 560SL RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. The Lancia 2000 HF Coupe is a stylish and distinctive two-door sports coupe produced by Italian automaker Lancia from 1971 to 1973. The car was designed as a successor to the popular Fulvia Coupe and featured a sleek, aerodynamic body designed by Pininfarina, one of Italy's most renowned automotive design firms. The 2000 HF Coupe was powered by a 2.0-liter inline-four engine that produced up to 140 horsepower, and featured a range of advanced features for the time, including front-wheel drive, independent front suspension, and disc brakes all around. The 2000 HF Coupe was well-received by critics and automotive enthusiasts alike, who praised its stylish design, advanced engineering, and excellent driving dynamics. The car was also successful on the racing circuit, with Lancia entering a modified version of the 2000 HF Coupe in the European Rally Championship, where it won several events and helped establish Lancia's reputation as a manufacturer of high-performance sports cars. Despite its initial success, the Lancia 2000 HF Coupe was only produced in limited numbers, with a total of just 2,500 units built over the course of two years. However, its impact on the automotive world was significant, as it helped to establish Lancia's reputation for building stylish and innovative sports cars that combined advanced engineering with excellent driving dynamics. The power plant was adopted from the 2000 sedan and available in two states of tune: carburetor on the 2000 Coupé, Bosch electronic fuel injection and engine management on the 2000 HF. The HF was recognizable by the body-side rub-strip, wooden Nardi steering wheel, and magnesium alloy wheels by Cromodora. Both versions had a 5-speed manual transmission with a dog-leg gearbox arrangement. The Lancia 2000 and 2000 HF Coupés were technologically advanced for the day with features such as a 5-speed transmission, power assisted steering and electronic fuel injection on the 2000 HF. And if you appreciate the history of classic cars, this 2000 HF comes with its original libretto and books, giving you the chance to trace its lineage and learn more about its unique story. • 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4 by Scaglietti

There is perhaps no better archetype of a Ferrari model than the 275 GTB/4. As one of the last Prancing Horses manufactured in the vintage era, preceding the wholesale shift to mid-rear engine placement, the GTB/4 was the product of all the lessons learned since the company’s 1947 inception. Like the greatest Ferraris that preceded it, the model was defined as a grand touring berlinetta: a closed-body dual-use GT car that could be driven to the track and raced before being gently driven back home. Introduced in 1964, the original 275 GTB was the first roadgoing Ferrari to be equipped with four-wheel independent suspension, and the first to employ a weight-saving transaxle, which also improved weight distribution. When the GTB/4 iteration arrived two years later, it boasted dual-cam valve actuation for each cylinder bank, making it the first four-cam road car from Maranello’s stable. This prodigy of mechanical performance was clothed in coachwork designed by Pininfarina and built by racing car carrozzeria Scaglietti, featuring a long hood and fastback rear end that were obviously developed from the legendary 250 GTO. The prodigious GTB/4 soon became quite popular with the celebrity jet set, enjoying ownership by such luminaries as Miles Davis, Clint Eastwood, and the King of Cool, himself, Steve McQueen. After a 2014 test drive of the ex-McQueen car, the inimitable Top Gear wrote: “Deep in Ferrari’s DNA is a love of normal aspiration, a chemical and mechanical process best enjoyed across 12 cylinders. The 275’s 300 bhp might seem slightly ‘meh’ by modern standards, but I swear you can feel every single one of them saddling up and charging off. There’s no step or software manipulation here, just a smooth, linear, thrilling sense of flow. “The faster you go, the better it gets.” A 275 GTB/4 IN FRANCE Benefitting from 43 years of care by a handful of French owners, followed by a more recent round of restorative work by one of Italy’s most respected Ferrari specialists, this modestly driven 275 GTB/4 is undoubtedly one of the most striking examples to be encountered. According to the combined research of marque expert Marcel Massini and French motoring historian Marc Rabineau, chassis number 10427 was specified for the French market with instruments in kilometers and yellow headlamp lenses; and finished in Argento paint over a Nero leather interior, including full leather seats. Distributed through the official French importer Franco-Britannic Autos in Paris, the Ferrari was delivered in November 1967 to its first owner, a Parisian gentleman by the name of Chassedieu. Over the next 43 years, the 275 passed through a short chain of four additional French caretakers before being offered in July 2010. The GTB/4 was acquired then by a dedicated collector based in Greece, and he reportedly commissioned a cosmetic refinish in the current livery of midnight blue over cream, with Daniele Turrisi in Bergamo, Italy handling the coachwork restoration, while Tappezzeria Luppi in Modena was entrusted to reupholster the interior. Following this freshening the owner applied for certification by Ferrari Classiche, and in May 2012 a Red Book and corresponding Certificate of Authenticity were issued that confirm the continued presence of the matching-numbers chassis, engine, gearbox, and coachwork. Shortly thereafter the berlinetta was sold to the CEO of a premium Swiss watch manufacturer who undertook further restoration work by Garage Alberto Donati in Corseaux, Switzerland. In October 2013 the Ferrari was acquired by the Dare to Dream Collection. The car has continued to benefit from fastidious upkeep during its 11 years of stewardship, most notably undergoing service to the radiator, a conversion to electronic ignition, and the mounting of new Michelin XWX tires. In 2022 the GTB/4 was taken to Italy for enjoyment on a Ferrari 275 Tour through Tuscany, for which the car was serviced and prepared by the highly respected marque specialist Autofficina Bonini Carlo in Reggio Emilia. It should be noted that chassis number 10427 is a late 275 example that features the quintessential, and most highly-developed configuration—a long-nose, four-cam car equipped with the desirable vibration-free torque-tube drive shaft. Continuing to present beautifully in midnight blue over cream, and accompanied by manuals in their pouch and a reproduction tool roll, this 275 GTB/4 is ideally prepared for further touring enjoyment. Or, it may be presented at Ferrari gatherings and concours d’elegance, offering the most highly distilled essence of Maranello’s great berlinetta tradition. 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4 by Scaglietti RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. The notice and take down procedure is described here: https://www.speedholics.com/copyright There is perhaps no better archetype of a Ferrari model than the 275 GTB/4. • 1964 Aston Martin DB5 1

Beautifully presented throughout, this Aston Martin DB5 has been extensively restored in recent years and certified by the factory to coveted Gold standard. Chassis number DB5/1878/R was completed at Newport Pagnell on 8 November 1964 as a right-hand-drive UK-market car. Finished in Black Pearl with a Fawn interior, it was first registered on 29 December and dispatched to dealer Cyril Williams of Wolverhampton. It’s thought that its intended first owner – A Jackson & Son Ltd of Birmingham – never took delivery, and instead it was bought by George Styles on 3 March 1965. The DB5’s history file includes an unbroken record of ownership from then all the way up to the present day. Mr Styles kept the car until November 1986, when it passed to Paradise Garage in London. It was then bought by Mark Longe in 1991, and he sold it the following year via RS Williams to Howard Giles. Giles took the DB5 back to Aston Martin at Newport Pagnell so that it could be fully assessed, and he decided to embark on a complete restoration. The process took nearly two years, with Aston Martin being entrusted with the bodywork and interior, while RS Williams took care of most of the mechanical work. Giles sold the DB5 in June 1999, and after being cared for by two further owners, it passed to a new custodian in October 2014. With 20 years having passed since the restoration, he commissioned marque specialist Oselli to carry out a further full restoration such were the demands of the meticulous owner. This was thoroughly documented – including photographs – in the history file and resulted in stripping the Aston Martin down to nothing more than a shell. A full bare metal repaint in original colour scheme was carried out, the interior was completely re-trimmed, and all other mechanical components and electrical items on the car were rebuilt as new at a cost of just over £400,000. The result is an immaculate example of this iconic British grand tourer that retains its original colour combination and matching-numbers status. Now also resting on brand new stunning Borrani Wire Wheels at a cost of over £15,000. Now being offered for sale at the Classic Motor Hub, this Aston Martin DB5 comes with an extensive history file that includes an original instruction book, plus a wealth of invoices showing the work that has been carried out over the years – testament to how well its enthusiast owners have cared for it. 1964 Aston Martin DB5 The Classic Motor Hub If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. Presented in stunning condition throughout, this exceptional DB5 has been the subject of extensive restoration work in recent years. Chassis number DB5/1786 was delivered in October 1964 as a right hand drive UK market car, finished in Sierra Blue and sold via the dealer HW Motors (K.N. Rudd) to its first owner, a Mr D.F. Albert of Hastings, East Sussex. Service records show that he was an enthusiastic owner covering some 25k miles by 1969, until selling to the second owner, another Hastings resident E.A. Parkinson in 1973. A garage owner, who had always wanted a DB5, ‘Ted’ Parkinson was its proud owner for the next 45 years! When the present owner bought the car it was apparent that it had been cherished and well maintained all its life, the decision was made to invest a great deal of money with marque specialists Aston Engineering enabling it to be enjoyed with trouble free motoring for many more decades. Not only cosmetic work that included a full repaint in the very attractive original colour, there was also extensive work carried out underneath and mechanically. The interior has a wonderful feeling of old world charm, beautifully supple old leather that new hides simply can’t match for character. Very well set up for touring, smooth effortless power delivered through the ZF gearbox and rolling on a desirable set of Borrani wire wheels, including the spare. This low mileage, highly original (still has the numbered keys) matching numbers DB5 with only 2 owners since 1973 in a stunning colour combination is a very desirable proposition. 1964 Aston Martin DB5 Will Stone Historic Cars Ltd If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1963-jaguar-e-type-series-i-38-litre-semi-lightweight-coup-fia

This Jaguar E-Type Series I 3.8 Coupé is a race-prepared, FIA-compliant example of the iconic classic British sports coupé that’s enjoyed success at the Silverstone Classic, the Donington Historic Festival and Equipe Classic Racing meets at Oulton Park and Snetterton. Its first outing, after being rebuilt five years ago, was the 60th Anniversary E-Type Challenge at the Silverstone Classic in 2021, when it finished a very impressive second in monsoon conditions driven by Danny Winstanley. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6PfHSAumihw). At that time, it was still fitted with a 317bhp straight-port, steel-block engine but the car is now powered by a dry-sump, all-alloy 3.8-litre Crosthwaite and Gardiner wide-angle straight-six, which sends its power to the rear wheels via a rebuilt 'EJ' 4-speed manual transmission and a 3.77:1 limited-slip differential. The car is classically finished in Old English White with contrasting red and blue racing stripes and sits on 15" magnesium wheels with 3-spoke knock-offs, wrapped in Dunlop Racing tyres. Equipment includes a differential cooler, uprated driveshafts, an alloy radiator and header tank, oil cooler, uprated anti-roll bars, lightweight brake callipers, lightweight plastic windows, front and rear tow hooks, full cage, Tillett bucket seat (2026), Lifeline harness, OMP fire extinguisher system, 3-spoke Sparco steering wheel and a heated windscreen. The FIA Historic Technical Passport (HTP) is valid until 31 December 2029. In preparation for the 2024 season, the car was fitted with a new 100-litre foam-filled baffled alloy fuel tank, new fuel lines, a replacement propshaft and clutch, re-valved Koni dampers, new front brake pads and MSD ignition. The fire extinguisher was also serviced, the suspension arms and nuts/bolts were zinc-plated and the underside and engine bay were resprayed, including powder-coating the engine frames. In November 2024, the engine was refreshed with new bearings, valve springs, crankshaft damper, clutch, oil, and filters. The Jaguar is road-registered (BRU 387A) and could be driven to events, sprints, hill climbs etc. (on road tyres) and even used on road-rallies but its prime function is as a very competitive racer. The most recent MOT test was on 15 March 2021 at an indicated 75,058 miles, which was a first time pass. In addition to the aforementioned FIA/HTP, the car is accompanied by its V5C, old MOTs, set up notes, invoices etc. and a collection of spare parts, as listed below. Various YouTube clips of the car can be found by searching 'Danny Winstanley Etype'. This is a rare opportunity to acquire an exceptionally successful Semi-Lightweight with many outright wins to its name - recent engine rebuild, fully prepped for the 2025 season and FIA/HTP to 31st December 2029. The E-Type is only being sold to make way for a new racing project, this is a seriously competitive car with the bonus it has been prepared for the upcoming season - a true turn-key competition car! • 1984 Audi Quattro WR 10v

Originally the property of legendary BMC 'Works' rally driver, Don Morley, this UK-supplied, RHD, Quattro WR has remained on the family farm for 39-years and is on offer at No Reserve. Don Morley rose to fame in the rapidly growing sport of international rallying during the late 1950s, and became one of BMC’s most reliable works drivers in the 1960s. Invariably co-driven by his non-identical twin, Erle – Don was the smaller of the two – Morley was always associated with the big Healey 3000s that he drove to repeated victories in the GT category of the Alpine Rally. He also won three Coupes des Alpes and thus a special Coupe d’Argent. His professional rally career started when, after several years of driving rallies at both national and international level, he won the Tulip Rally with Erle in a privately entered Jaguar 3.4 in 1959. His exploits with BMC were not confined to Healeys, however, as he did several major events in a works Mini 850 getting one through to the finish of the Monte Carlo in 1960. In 1964, he temporarily forsook Healeys again for an MGB on the Monte Carlo where he won the GT class ahead of a works Porsche and subsequently co-drove in the Sebring 12-Hours of 1963. The Morley twins were virtually household names in the early sixties, frequently appearing in glorious black and white footage on the BBC News and at the cinema in Pathé News, however, their farm in Suffolk was always a priority particularly during Harvest when motorsport was firmly demoted to second place. When it came to selecting a road car, Don's rally background naturally influenced his choice and in 1984 he purchased a brand new 2,144cc in-line, five-cylinder, 10-valve Audi Quattro WR from Testwood Motors of Southampton. It was finished in Zermatt Silver with a Brazil Cloth interior and was fitted from new with a sunroof and a Blaupunkt Atlanta radio/cassette. In 1995 (the final Tax Disc expired on 30/11/1995), he passed it down to his son at 139,000 miles but he chose never to drive it, storing it in a corner of a barn until recently. The storage area didn't let in much daylight and the car appears to be in remarkably original condition under the dust, the interior in particular benefitting from being kept in favourable light conditions. It's supplied with its original wider alloys on original Pirelli P7Rs which are uncracked due to the dark storage, three keys and the history file containing numerous MOTs, invoices, drivers manuals etc. On offer at No Reserve, this amazing Quattro with a strong rally connection appears in good shape and would be great fun to recommission and detail prior to returning to the road. 1984 Audi Quattro WR 10v Iconic Auctioneers Ltd If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. Evoluzione II refinements include wider tracks, improved suspension geometry, and upgraded braking components, ensuring superior handling and performance. This example recently underwent a recent service at Car Cave USA. Previous service records show a recent timing belt replacement and verification during visual inspection of previous maintenance. A superb car with a single family ownership and extraordinarily low miles. Surely the best in the world. Background When Alejandro de Tomaso acquired Maserati in 1976, he had ambitious plans for the marque. His aim was to combine the prestige of the Maserati brand with a sports car that would be more affordable, replacing the higher priced models that had traditionally made up the Maserati range. In the 1980s, BMW's E30 ruled the roost for well heeled buyers who wanted a practical car that drove well and sounded good. Keen to grab a piece of this hugely lucrative market, Maserati introduced the BiTurbo in 1981. The concept was simple: a two-door coupé or a four-door saloon, but with a huge dollop of Italian style and purpose. A V6 under the bonnet came with two turbos, which was a first for a production car. The Car The car on offer here is surely the best surviving example in the world, having covered just 12,270km (7,624 miles) from new under a single family ownership. Supplied new in Bologna in 1988, it was cared for from new by Autosport of Bologna during its time in Italy. Very few options were available at the time of ordering, but it was specified with a Nardi wooden wheel and Borrani Milan wire wheels (the original alloys are also included in the sale). There was also a high-spec option of power steering and an electric roof, which was also ticked on the order form. It is believed that of the 524 cars ever produced, only 24 were specified this way. It spent the first 21 years of its life in Italy, with the only change of ownership being from father to son, who then imported the car in 2019 when he himself moved to the UK. Following a period of dry storage, the car was treated to a substantial recommissioning, with all fluids replaced, brand new tyres, wheels refurbished, paint corrected where necessary, repolished interior wood veneer, detailed Alcantara trim, stainless steel exhaust, new cam belt and a full service. Supplied with a fresh MOT with 'no advisories'. The results are stunning and we gather the car once again drives like new. The car has a substantial history file which includes the complete book pack, original bill of sale, all Italian documents and proof of Italian provenance. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to buy a beautifully preserved part of Maserati's history. 1988 Maserati Biturbo 420 Si Iconic Auctioneers Ltd If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer.
