This 1963 Porsche 356B cabriolet is powered by a 1.6-liter flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. It is finished in black over red leather, and equipment includes a black convertible top, 15? steel wheels, vent windows, a Blaupunkt AM/FM radio, and front bucket seats. The car was acquired by the current owner from the selling dealer on BaT in August 2022.and work performed in preparation for the sale included rebuilding the carburetors, replacing the battery, and an oil change. This 356B cabriolet is now offered on dealer consignment with a copy of the Kardex, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, and a clean California title. The Reutter-built body was finished from the factory in black and was repainted some time ago. Karmann badges have been added to the front fenders, and features include a black soft top, a windshield washer system, vent windows, and body-color bumpers with chrome overriders. The 15? vented steel wheels wear Deluxe hubcaps and are mounted with 165/80 Nankang CX-668 tires tires. The car was factory equipped with drum brakes at each corner. An aftermarket front sway bar has been installed, and the car rides on Koni shocks. The wheel bearings were adjusted in February 2024 and the left rear wheel was replaced in June 2024. The front bucket seats and rear jump seats are upholstered in red leather, and interior appointments include headrests, a Blaupunkt AM/FM radio, a VDO clock, and a body-color painted dashboard. The three-spoke steering wheel frames green-letter VDO instrumentation including a 120-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,500-rpm redline as well as a combination gauge for oil temperature and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 66k miles, approximately 100 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown. The 1.6-liter air-cooled 616/7 flat-four was factory equipped with dual Solex carburetors and rated at 102 (SAE) horsepower when new. The spark plugs and points were replaced in February 2024, and the carburetors were rebuilt, the battery was replaced, and the oil was changed in May 2024.
