- Lamborghini Diablo VT 6.0
Upon Audi AG’s takeover of Lamborghini in 1998, Luc Donckerwolke was put in charge of bringing the flagging Diablo model up to date. Donckerwolke came with an impressive resume – he’d been Head of Design at Lamborghini, as well as part of the design team behind the wildly successful Audi R8 Le Mans Prototype. Compared to its elder siblings, the Diablo VT 6.0 was a complete revolution. It featured an almost entirely carbon fibre body, a 6.0 litre V12 DOHC engine, an upgraded chassis, wider tracks for cornering, and a new and improved exhaust. It wasn’t only performance metrics that were overhauled either. The Diablo VT 6.0 came with a redesigned interior and a new air conditioning system – ensuring driving comfort as well as thrills. - Alfa Romeo 8C Spider
Offered today it seems to be the most desirable Alfa Romeo 8C Spider in existence with the exclusive Touring touch. An instant classic, this Alfa Romeo 8C Spider was delivered new in 2012 to a German collector who sent chassis number 50050 to Touring Superleggera. Touring fitted a number of features from the Alfa Romeo Disco Volante, including air vents painted in Rosso Stratosfero, a black anodised upper half dashboard, centre console and door sill. A Leather handle was added to the door sill. Also added was a “‘One of One’ by Touring Superleggera” badge, and yellow brake calipers as well! This work took several weeks to complete. - Ferrari F40
"F" Saturday part 1. With less than 500 miles on the clock, this F40 looks brand new, with its carbon weave as clear as ever. So good is its condition that it looks like its just come off the production line. Instead, it is one of only 78 Ferrari F40s delivered new to the United Kingdom and it rolled off the production line almost 30 years ago. Stunning! Courtesy: Girardo & Co. - Alfa Romeo T33/2
This, the most beautifully elegant sports racing Alfa Romeo, raced in an era featuring competition against the Porsche 906, a developed 911 flat-6 cylinder engine, Lotus 47 and the Ferrari 206 Dino. None of the cars in this class received the same level of factory development and support as seen from Autodelta. Also, none of the competition featured a V8 engine, the T33/2 really was the most exotic, prettiest and developed car competing in its class. Courtesy: Girardo & Co. - 1969 Chevrolet Corvette
Pure American muscle. This 1969 Chevrolet Corvette was given the Greenwood racing treatment in the 1970s, and was driven by Rick Manusco and Burt Greenwood in 1975. The following year, Art Siri acquired it, and raced in the 1979 SCAA. Here it remained until 1988, undergoing two body transformations along the way. In the mid-2000s, things came full circle for this Corvette, as it was returned to its Greenwood body aesthetic. It’s most recent refurb came 5 just five years ago. The Paolo Engine Service built 454ci V8 creates the fierce power, which is coupled with a modified Tex Racing four-speed manual transmission. - Ferrari 312 P
In 1969, Ferrari announced its return to the endurance circuit in style. The 312 P prototype might be the most beautiful race car of all time, and we don’t say that lightly! This particular model, serial number 0872, was fitted with a Berlinetta body from new. For the 1969 season, a less speedy version took its body from the Spyder configuration. After failing to finish at Le Mans in 1969 and 1970, it came in 4th in the 1970 Daytona 24hr, and then 6th in the Sebring 12hr in March the same year. Luigi Chinetti would go on to buy both Berlinettas, adding them to his N.A.R.T racing team. Photography: Aimery Dutheil http://ow.ly/Jdwg50zia0J

- Lancia 037
Built on the basis of the Beta Montecarlo, the Lancia 037 aimed to fulfil the legacy of the Stratos and the 131 Abarth. It accomplished this perfectly in1983 when it won the World Rally Championship Constructor’s Title. To this day, it remains the last two wheel drive car to do this. Its technical blueprint included a centrally mounted engine and rear wheel drive, a layout that would later be surpassed by the all-wheel drive design of the Delta S4.
