Manufactured on 3 August 1971, this Jensen Interceptor was one of just 101 cars painted in Metallic Quartz and trimmed with a Black interior, further to being one of only 478 examples built in right-hand drive for its year of construction. The Jensen left the factory configured with air conditioning, Sundym glass, a Voxson 8-track player with radio, as well as town and country air horns. The Interceptor was delivered new to dealer Charles Follet Ltd in north London on 6 August 1971, and later purchased by Mr E A Wyatt of Dulwich, south London. Copies of the factory warranty records show that by the September of that year, the car had covered just over 1,000 miles. Then, by May 1972, the odometer read 3,897 miles. Mr Wyatt’s next-door neighbour at the time, the consigning owner, acquired this Interceptor sometime in the mid-1970s. An MoT certificate issued in 1979 recorded the odometer reading as 2,498 miles. Please note, it is believed that between late-1972 and 1979, the odometer was changed. The numerous MoT certificates on file, along with a letter from Jensen in 1992 that remarks the “mileage of 4,926 is undoubtedly accurate”, demonstrate that the car has covered only 4,000 miles from 1979 to 2025. Used sparingly over the past two decades, this Jensen Interceptor would benefit from recommissioning prior to road use. In June 2025, the carburettor was rebuilt, alongside new sparks plugs and a new battery being fitted. Today, the Jensen still presents in its factory-correct colour scheme of Metallic Quartz over a Black interior. The odometer reads 6,701 miles at the time of cataloguing. The car retains its matching-numbers Chrysler V-8 engine and looks to have retained its period Voxson 8-track radio. This F40 is one of the approximate 224 U.S. F40's built between 1990-1992. This car ordered new through Wide World Ferrari (still in business today) and sold by one of the legends of a salesman Nick Saridakis. The first owner took delivery of the car in Italy and the European license plate frame is still on the car today. This car was acquired by the second owner around 1998. He acquired the car through Wide World Ferrari as well. The second owner was a very prominent member in the world finance community and one of the top ten car collectors in the world. This car was well looked after by his collection manager. This car was always serviced at each interval. Upon our acquisition we have done a cryogenic cleaning to the chassis and engine bay, a concours detail to the exterior of the car and we recovered the seats with new foam and the proper nomex material. A one-time American serviceman deployed to the European theatre during World War II, Dr Boniface returned to Italy in 1948 to study at the University of Bologna, and a love affair with Italian sports cars blossomed. Of the dozens or more Italian cars he ultimately owned, few could compare to the exquisite elegance of the Lusso. In 1988 Dr. Boniface commissioned Joe Piscazzi’s American Auto Body of Akron, Ohio, to conduct a cosmetic restoration in the original colour combination. In 2017, prompted by a clutch failure, the owner commissioned a significant mechanical overhaul by Fowler Automotive of Glenshaw, Pennsylvania, and on the heels of this work the Lusso was awarded best-in-class at the 2017 Concours of America in St Johns, Michigan. In 2020 the Ferrari was sold from Dr Boniface’s estate to the consigning owner, a well-regarded collector based in the UK. Under his stewardship, the Lusso has experienced very little use while being annually serviced by marque specialist Bob Houghton. It should be noted that mechanical stampings corresponding to the build records and this car retains its matching-numbers chassis, engine, and rear axle. According to the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, this Speedster was completed on April 15, 1957, and retains its matching engine and transmission, deck lids and doors — a testament to its originality and authenticity. One of only 590 356A T1 Speedsters produced in 1957, this Speedster underwent a high-quality restoration prior to its acquisition by European Collectibles of Costa Mesa, CA in the summer of 2004. The comprehensive restoration included a complete disassembly of the car, body preparation down to bare metal, and a show-quality paint finish in its original Ruby Red. The undercarriage, trunk, and engine bay were meticulously detailed to factory specifications. During reassembly, all new rubber components were installed along with a new windshield, restored instruments, reupholstered seats, and a fresh soft top. The brightwork was re-plated, polished, and reinstalled, ensuring the car’s presentation met concours standards. The engine, transmission, steering, suspension, and brakes were all professionally rebuilt and fully detailed. After its restoration, European Collectibles sold this Speedster to a local client who proudly showcased it at the Dana Point Concours the following month. Since then, the car has been consistently maintained, with European Collectibles performing minor enhancements and preservation work to ensure it remains in top condition. Powered by its original 1600 Normal (60 horsepower) engine paired with a 644 manual 4-speed transmission and four-wheel drum brakes, this Speedster delivers an engaging and authentic driving experience. The first prototype of the BMW Z1 dates back to 1986. When it was presented at the Geneva Motor Show in 1987, success was immediate. Only 8000 exemplars were produced between 1989 and 1991. The roadster was designed for pleasure. It is very low (47 cm), long (4.14 m) and wide (1.75 m). The Z1 is featured with a 2.5-liter inline 6-cylinder petrol engine developing 170 hp at 5,750 rpm. It is the first model of the Z series standing for “Zukunft” or “Future” in German. Today, the Z1 is still considered a cult car with its unique design and its pocket doors opening downwards. This particular exemplar is a Belgian car that was delivered new by BMW Eupen in 1990. It stayed in Belgium until 2005 before moving to the beautiful Spanish island of Palma de Mallorca. There, the Z1 was enjoyed as a fun cabriolet and continued to be regularly maintained by BMW as evidenced in the original service book until 2011 (all invoices available on request). The car was then sold to Germany where it stayed for 4 years. The last owner acquired the Z1 in 2015 to add it to his collection. He registered the BMW Z1 in France but only drove 1.500 Km with it in 9 years. Last maintenance has been done in 2023 including a new water pump and a new timing belt. In short, a well-maintained example with a well documented service history and a relatively low mileage for a car of 35 years.
