  • 1973-ferrari-dino-246-gt-2

Supplied new to the UK in 1973, this example was a special order optioned in Marrone Dino Metallizzato 106.M.73 over Beige Connolly leather VM3218. At the time of order, this 246 GT further optioned with 7 ½ inch sand cast Campagnolo wheels and the resulting, 1 of just 10 UK supplied ‘flares’ examples. Ordered new through Dick Lovett, this would without doubt have stood out from the crowd! By 1990 the Dino was in need of a restoration and then owner Mr Rombouts-Howitt would embark on a ten-year restoration project with Grand Tourismo Services of Egham. Metalwork was carried out by Dino-specialists Prestige Metal Works, documented by a wealth of invoices on file, as well as for parts purchased from Maranello Concessionaires between 1990 and 2000. The restorative works further included an engine rebuild. The Dino was refinished in Giallo over Nero and fitted with ‘chairs’ at this time. DK Engineering sold this 246 GT to its current custodian in October 2005 with a mileage reading 33,100 miles. The car was placed into storage forming part of a significant collection at the time and has since covered just 200 miles since. Extracted from storage by DK in March 2025, this example has since been through our workshops and will receive a fresh and thorough service as a part of the sale. Presenting well, this Dino will afford the new custodian a fabulous example to improve further or return to its original colours. This 246 Dino is 1 of just 10 UK supplied factory ‘flares’ examples and is available to view at our showrooms outside London immediately. 1973 Ferrari Dino 246 GT D.K. • 1963 Lancia Flaminia Sport 3C 2.8 by Zagato

In true Lancia tradition, the Flaminia took its name from the eponymous “Via Flaminia” Roman road that stretches between Rome and the Adriatic coast. At the time of its unveiling at the Turin Auto Show in 1957, the Flaminia epitomised a suave and sophisticated 1950s Italy—not only in its name, but also in appearance, with sporting models bodied by Zagato and by Touring, both of Milan. The Flaminia Zagato Sport shared the same shortened wheelbase as its Touring GT sister model, but the youthful Ercole Spada, chief designer at Zagato, used luscious flowing lines contrasted against a sleek coupé profile for all the attributes of the finest sports cars of the era. While the “Double Bubble” roofline characterises the Flaminia Sport’s distinctive shape, its doors feature pop-out handles, and the curvaceous body includes a low, functional air scoop on the bonnet. The appealing features and sporting credentials of the model are matched by its impressive performance figures. A mere 526 examples of the Flaminia Sport and Super Sport were built between 1959 and 1967. The earliest “Pre-Series” examples wore covered headlights, but soon into the build cycle, covered headlights were outlawed in Italy, making these early examples highly desirable. However, this particular Flaminia is the exception to the rule. Produced in December 1963, a letter on file from Zagato shows that their records confirm that the car did in fact leave the factory with covered headlights, without front or rear bumpers, and with sport seats. First registered in Florence in February of 1964 with the number plate FI 241987, the car remained with its first owner for four years, the car’s registration was subsequently transferred to Salerno in the ownership of Giovanni Capaldo and reregistered as SA 182510 in March of 1971. The Flaminia remained in Capaldo’s ownership for the following eighteen years and was acquired by Flavia Bulgheroni in April of 1989 but remained in her ownership for just over a year, purchased by a Franco Torzo of Bologna in October of 1990. Passing through one subsequent owner, the car was acquired by a dealer in Casalgrande in November. Purchased by an enthusiastic Italian owner in June of 1999, that same month, the car participated in the Coppa della Toscana rally. A number of years later, the car participated in a Zagato club rally in 2017 and a V-6 Lancia rally in 2018, and was acquired by the current owner in 2021. Remaining in Italy for its entire life, the car still presents beautifully today in its unique late-production specification with covered headlights and without bumpers, but has been fitted with standard seats for added comfort whilst touring. Invoices on file show that the seats were reupholstered, and new carpet was installed in 2012. Well-presented and uniquely specified as a later-production Flaminia Zagato with covered headlights, this would be an interesting addition to any collection, and a joy to drive on the open road. 1963 Lancia Flaminia Sport 3C 2.8 by Zagato RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. „Matching-Number“ 1 of only 194 vehicles built Extensively documented Outstanding Right from the beginning the name Lancia was connected with progressive and innovative automotive engineering. The pioneering work of Vincenzo Lancia included the De Dion rear axle, overhead camshafts, independent front suspension and the first self-supporting body. Under the direction of his son Gianni the famous Aurelia series with the B20 and B24 models was created, with which Lancia celebrated numerous successes in international motor sport. Only 194 examples of the series VI were produced. The vehicle presented here was completed on January 18th, 1958 and shortly after it was delivered to Sweden where it remained for more than 40 years. Later the car was extensively restored in Germany. The car is “matching-numbers!” (engine) and has a well-documented history. Several historical documents such as the original logbook and registration documents are available. • 1972-alfa-romeo-gt-1600-junior

The Alfa Romeo GT 1600 Junior was introduced in 1972, to plug the gap between the GT 1300 Junior and the larger-engined 2000 GTV. The engine was substantially the same as that of the Giulia Sprint GTV discontinued four years previously, and had the same engine type number. The final drive ratio was again 9/41 as standard on all 105 Series coupés with the 1290 cc and 1570 cc engine. From 1974 on, the GT 1300 Junior and GT 1600 Junior were rationalised into a common range of models with the 2000 GTV and were rebadged as 1.3 GT Junior and 1.6 GT Junior, sharing most of the interior and exterior features with the larger-engined car. The GT Junior has a tight suspension and weighed in at just 930 kg for the 1.3 variant.Because of this, the car would often go onto three wheels, lifting the inside front wheel off the road when driven enthusiastically. Production ended in 1976-77 and totalled 91,964 units of 1.3 lt. Juniors and 13,120 units of the 1.6 lt. Juniors. According to the Centro Documentazione Alfa Romeo, our car, chassis 2198222, was produced on October 30th, 1972 and delivered on the 17th November to the Italian market and its still equipped with its original AR 00536*25830 engine. The car was first purchased by a lady in Roma, and she sold the car 2 years later to Mr Vassilis Kaliakoudas, from Greece, famous Alfa and Ferrari collectionneur. We have more than 200 original 10x15 pictures from the restoration that will come with the car. Finished in the correct Amaranto AR509, with its dark red interior, believed the rarest colour combination, this particular 1600 Junior was subject of a no-expense-spared restoration. The body was entrusted to the best restorer in Greece, who usually dedicates his precious time to more valuable Italian machinery from Maranello. In addition, the mechanicals were comprehensively overhauled, and the restoration works are documented in an accompanying album of photographs. We have more than 200 original 10x15 pictures from the restoration that will come with the car. After this restoration, Mr Vassalis keep the car inside his personnel collection in Athens, and used the car occasionally in the dry and nice Greece climate. Only a minimal distance has been driven since the engine was comprehensively rebuilt. So the car comes today in stunning condition, looks and drive perfectly. The car also comes with the Certificato di Proprieta and the Greece registration document. Comes also with the car all the original Alfa Romeo documents, Uso e manutenzione, Servicio, AlfaRomeo dealer original sleeve, 2 set of original ignition keys… Very hard to fond such a stunning Junior Alfa Romeo with such a great History and famous owner. 1972 Alfa Romeo GT 1600 Junior ARNAGE Classic Car Consulting If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. The engine was substantially the same as that of the Giulia Sprint GTV discontinued four years previously, and had the same engine type number. • 1971-jensen-interceptor-ii-1

Manufactured on 3 August 1971, this Jensen Interceptor was one of just 101 cars painted in Metallic Quartz and trimmed with a Black interior, further to being one of only 478 examples built in right-hand drive for its year of construction. The Jensen left the factory configured with air conditioning, Sundym glass, a Voxson 8-track player with radio, as well as town and country air horns. The Interceptor was delivered new to dealer Charles Follet Ltd in north London on 6 August 1971, and later purchased by Mr E A Wyatt of Dulwich, south London. Copies of the factory warranty records show that by the September of that year, the car had covered just over 1,000 miles. Then, by May 1972, the odometer read 3,897 miles. Mr Wyatt’s next-door neighbour at the time, the consigning owner, acquired this Interceptor sometime in the mid-1970s. An MoT certificate issued in 1979 recorded the odometer reading as 2,498 miles. Please note, it is believed that between late-1972 and 1979, the odometer was changed. The numerous MoT certificates on file, along with a letter from Jensen in 1992 that remarks the “mileage of 4,926 is undoubtedly accurate”, demonstrate that the car has covered only 4,000 miles from 1979 to 2025. Used sparingly over the past two decades, this Jensen Interceptor would benefit from recommissioning prior to road use. In June 2025, the carburettor was rebuilt, alongside new sparks plugs and a new battery being fitted. Today, the Jensen still presents in its factory-correct colour scheme of Metallic Quartz over a Black interior. The odometer reads 6,701 miles at the time of cataloguing. The car retains its matching-numbers Chrysler V-8 engine and looks to have retained its period Voxson 8-track radio. The history file contains previous MoT certificates, the driver’s handbook, tool kit, invoices, and a Jensen Motors Statement of Origin, which verifies the factory options and colours. Having remained in long-term single ownership spanning five decades, this low-mileage Interceptor is a charming and cherished example of 1970s British motoring. 1971 Jensen Interceptor II RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. Suppose you only deal in cars from private collections and you find yourself in a large barn where (almost) all your petrol dreams are... On the left, in the back, somewhat permanently put away, in the corner under a layer of dust, is this widened Ferrari 512BB Competizione Stradale. Incredibly beautiful, with an almost dirty raw edge because of the pop rivets and the broadly beaten aluminium. You are, most probably, just like us, spontaneously in love! For the collector - and for us - it was totally unclear what it was exactly. That's where the Cool Classic Club's voyage of discovery began 1.5 years ago. The end result? Something with Carrozzeria Autosport Bacchelli & Villa, Italian craftsmanship, emotion and a competition engine block. • 1993 Jaguar XJ220

Having guided the XJS to the European Touring Car crown in 1982, the Tom Walkinshaw Racing outfit then led Jaguar’s World Sportscar Championship programme. Housing a 7-litre V-12 engine, the glorious XJR-9 prototype knocked Porsche off its perch to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1988 during the heyday of the Group C era. Given these high-profile successes it was, therefore, obvious who the marque should turn to when creating a halo supercar. The concept for the XJ220, named in deference of the projected top speed, took after the triumphant XJR-9 racer as a naturally aspirated 6.2-litre 12-cylinder powerplant was planned. But a long gestation period and more stringent emissions regulations meant the 281 examples eventually gained a 3.5-litre, twin-turbocharged V-6 related to the motor from the MG Metro 6R4 Group B rally weapon. Nevertheless, as TWR and Jaguar combined to form JaguarSport, the resulting effort still vanquished the best that Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Porsche had to offer. With the rev limiter raised and Works driver Martin Brundle at the wheel, the XJ220 recorded 349.4 km/h at the Nardò Ring in Italy to become the world’s fastest production car. The example offered here was completed by JaguarSport on 31 March 1993 configured in the signature XJ220 shade of Spa Silver to complement a Smoke Grey leather interior. Although holding a 10 June delivery date, it would be another four years before the car was purchased via UK dealer William Loughran of Preston by the first owner, who registered it on 18 August 1997. Soon after, it paid a visit to pre-eminent XJ220 expert Don Law Racing, near Newcastle in the United Kingdom, to be fitted with a sports exhaust and upgraded brakes. The car was auctioned at RM Sotheby’s London sale in October 2008. After a spell in Russia, the Jaguar moved to the United Arab Emirates in late 2023. It benefits from an August 2024 visit to Dragon Racing International of Dubai, where a recommissioning service was completed at a cost of 103,615 AED. Please note that the odometer has recently been repaired by Don Law Racing. This XJ220 is accompanied by a tool kit, first aid kit, and a Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust (JDHT) certificate. Presented in its factory colour combination, this flagship Jaguar is sure to appeal to collectors of record-breakers, 1990s supercars, and dedicated marque enthusiasts. 1993 Jaguar XJ220 RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1995 Lotus Esprit S4S

The Lotus Esprit is among Britain’s most popular wedges, thanks to designer Giorgetto Giugiaro and his “folded paper” designs. The Esprit had four distinct “Series” lasting from 1976 to 2004 with a grand total of 10,675 cars produced. The last generation, dubbed the S4, came around in 1994 and was based on the X180, a major redesign introduced in 1988 that was not given a “Series” number like the other generations. It was more rounded and less angular than the previous S3 but retained most of the mechanical components from the earlier S3 “High Compression” Esprit and Turbo Esprit including the 2.2L I4 Type 912 and the 2.2L I4 Turbo Type 910 and 910S engines that put out around 264 hp. Either engine could be mated to a 5-speed or 6-speed manual transmission. On the exterior, the S4 had a small rear spoiler halfway up the rear engine cover, new bumpers, side skirts, valence panels, and new five-spoke alloy wheels. In 1994, the S4 Sport, or S4s, version was introduced as a 1995.5 model year and replaced the standard S4. The S4s added the rear wing from the European-spec X180R Sports 300 and a more powerful engine that put out 301 hp and 290 lb⋅ft of torque with a 0-60 mph time of 4.6 seconds. Only 145 S4 Sport models were ever produced. This particular example, Chassis # SCCFD30C3SHF63141, is a gorgeous Series 4 Sport example finished in Racing Green over a gold leather interior and contrasting sand-colored seat piping. It is #136 of 145, one of only eight Esprit S4s models finished in Racing Green and one of only two in the Racing Green and gold leather/sand seat piping combo. Apart from the no-cost Sport Package, the car was equipped with sport wheels from the factory, a $1,500 option, and a radio/CD player that was installed in the US by the importer. It was received by Palm Beach Motor Cars in Palm Beach, FL in October of 1995 who then sold it on December 18, 1996 to a customer in Vero Beach, FL. This first owner later moved to California sometime in 1999, bringing the Lotus along with them. There, he serviced the car at Lotus Prepared By Claudius, an independent Lotus dealer in Cerritos, CA, which included an AC recharge in July of 2000. After 14 years of ownership, the car was sold to a resident of Palm Springs, CA, who continued loving the car for the next four years. During that period, it saw regular servicing at OMAG Automotive Machine Inc. in Palm Springs, CA alongside other garages. A major service performed at OMAG in May of 2011 included new engine mounts, new fuel and oil filters, new power steering pump, new radiator cap, new fluids, AC system recharge, new tires, and new drive belts. Also in 2011, Gabor Foreign Car Specialist in Cathedral City, CA installed a new oil pan drain plug to fix an oil leak, a new inner o-ring on one of the rear axle shafts as well as a brand new coolant reservoir sensor. The AC received some work in 2012 with a new expansion valve and dryer. In 2013, the transmission was rebuilt by Gabor Foreign Car Specialist with new synchro rings for second, third, and fourth gear, a resurfaced flywheel, new clutch assembly, and a rebuilt hydraulic system. The rear shocks were also replaced during that same visit. The car returned to OMAG in 2014 for an evap hose repair alongside a rebuild of the front brakes, new oil and filter as well as all new spark plugs. One last visit to OMAG in 2015 gave the Lotus a rebuilt alternator, new battery, a flushed brake system, and a cleaner ABS sensor. That same year, the Lotus was sold yet again to a resident of Short Hills, NJ, which saw the British beauty’s return to its original home on the East Coast. We received the car in September of 2021 and found it in need of some further service. In February of 2022, we entrusted it to Rosso Service in Forest Hill, MD. They installed a new battery, new fuel vent hose, new left front upper ball joint, new 90-degree coolant fitting, new fuel crossover hoses for both tanks, new rear brake hoses, AC compressor, and front hood strut along with a timing belt service which included the tensioner pulley, thermostat, and a new water pump. In June of 2022, we took the Lotus to Zeigler Exotic Cars in Phoenixville, PA for a new clutch, flywheel, and rear main seal along with its housing gasket. They also replaced the EVAP system crossover hose and reconnected a number of disconnected vacuum harness lines. We also received this car with a period correct, albeit not original, Momo steering wheel. We took the liberty of sourcing a correct steering wheel and installing it in its place. Thanks to its comprehensive service and maintenance records, this Esprit is in excellent running order and presents a great entryway into Lotus ownership. The eye-catching color combination as well as the overall rarity of the car as a whole will make this a standout example at any show it attends. Upon purchase, the new owner will receive all of the original owner’s books, original window sticker, all of the service records on file, as well as the aftermarket Momo steering wheel and a custom Covercraft car cover. The Details EXTERIOR Body And Paint As an all-composite construction, the Esprit lends itself to a different standard of fit and finish and always has. For an esprit, it is in good condition overall, with straight body panels, factory gaps, and panel fitment, and showing age and blemishes consistent with the miles and use seen. There are a variety of minor chips to be found on the front end of the car especially down low near the front splitter. The driver's door edge has been touched up and a few other areas show pencil point size chips. Just behind the passenger door, in the right light and angle, one can see a few minor bubbles in the paint. This car does still feature its original paint best we can tell. It is otherwise very presentable and warrants no refinishing to be enjoyed or proudly shown. Glass And Trim The glass is all original with one or two minor imperfections to be found on the windscreen. The trim is present and correct with some minor chips in the paint showing on the black window surrounds. The gasket for the roof antenna shows a crack as well. Wheels The wheels, multi-piece OZ Futura, are unique to the S4S but do have some minor flaws in the form of curbing on the rear wheels. The center cap rings are showing their age, cracked, and missing in areas. A set of incorrect or reproduction wheels are also included in the sale. INTERIOR Seats And Surfaces The interior shows to be in good condition overall with some minor staining on the driver's side carpet and some wear in a few high traffic areas as photographed such as the lower section of the driver's door panel. The dash, headliner, door panel, seats, center console, and other areas are in excellent condition overall and reflect careful use. Functionality And Accessories Everything inside the cabin is in correct working order. All buttons, switches, etc… with nothing showing to be inoperable from our testing of various systems and functions. ENGINE BAY AND TRUNK Engine Bay The engine bay reflects the miles, use, and servicing with some paint chipping here or there. An area of the car that shows use and is not Concours but shows to have been serviced and its presentation reflections function over form. Trunk Area The trunk area is tidy overall with no trim items missing. This includes both the front and rear trunk. Underside The underside is clean overall and presents very well having benefited from dry ice blasting. There are a couple of minor surface corrosion areas to be found on hardware here or there but nothing that warrants refinishing. MECHANICALS Engine Benefiting from comprehensive recent servicing, the engine is in correct order. It starts instantly and runs better and better with temperature and use. Holding strong oil pressure and temperature. Transmission The 5-speed transmission operates as it should with no issues noted, benefiting from a fresh clutch replacement during the recent comprehensive service. Brakes And Suspension The brakes and suspension are in good condition and also saw recent minor servicing with no issues noted. Tires The tires on all 4 corners are Michelin Pilot Super Sports, 245/45/ZR17 with a date code of 2016 in the rear and 215/45/ZR17 with a date code of 2016 in the front. Tread is deep and the tires show little use overall and are still supple enough for use though technically expired if being critical. DRIVING EXPERIENCE Lotus has always been about putting the driving experience first and the S4S follows this mantra wonderfully. The S4S feels light and nimble behind the wheel with a fantastic and direct steering feel. The inline four-cylinder is rev-happy and requires you to thoroughly use the entirety of the tachometer, which you are happy to oblige by. This particular S4S is unique in that it is 1 of only 145 produced and even more so as it is 1 of only 2 finished in this unapologetically British color combination. Its excellent ownership throughout the years, combined with its recent thorough servicing and overall rarity means that this is a car that you can drive and enjoy regularly while it continues to appreciate in value over the years. 1995 Lotus Esprit S4S LBI Limited If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. After being marked complete by Ferrari’s fabled Maranello factory in April 1969, chassis number 11981 was configured as a European model for the domestic Italian market. The car was finished in left-hand drive with a kilometre display, equipped with air conditioning from new, and finished in Blu Ribot over a Beige Connolly interior—a colour pairing it retains to this day. The 365 GTC was first sold through the official Ferrari dealer Dino Ravasio and Sons of Verona, with its first owner noted as Mrs Franca Brunetto of Vicenza. The car did not stay with her for long, as by September 1971 it had been sold to Mr Antonio Morassutti of Padova. Just nine months later it had been acquired by Mr Cesare Compiano of Treviso, who kept the Ferrari for just under two years before it was sold to Mr Aurelio Rezzonico Widman Foscari, a resident of Venice. Its fifth owner, one Mr Antonio Fassina of Treviso, bought the car in December 1975. He retained the Ferrari for the best part of the next decade. In October 1985, another long-term ownership ensued as it was purchased by Fratelli Fassina SpA of Treviso and not traded again until October 2000, when Arona SpA of Milan bought the car. In April 2001, Ado Fassina of Treviso—possibly a relation to the earlier owner—purchased the Ferrari and kept it for five years. The car’s ninth Italian keeper, one Mr Umberto Amedeo Compiano of Treviso, took ownership in July 2006. Over 10 years later, in November 2016, the Ferrari was finally acquired at auction by the consigning owner, who entered the 365 GTC into a fine private collection of Italian cars. The Ferrari retains its matching-numbers V-12 engine and factory-correct colour combination. Now available again for the first time in almost 10 years, the 365 GTC is fittingly offered for sale in Milan, where its storied series of Italian owners could be continued. 1969 Ferrari 365 GTC by Pininfarina RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer.
