  • 1967-ferrari-330-gt-22

With the development of the first series Ferrari 330 GT in 1964, the Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 Series II would arrive to world markets as one of the most balanced combinations of sports car performance and refined GT excellence. With improvements on the earlier quad-headlight iteration, the Series II offered subtle enhancements to the Pininfarina design, most notably, a refined headlight configuration. Smartly configured with space for smaller stature rear passengers, the Columbo 4.0-liter V12 powered 330 GT 2+2 offered an impressive 296-horsepower, featuring triple Weber carburetors, and a new five-speed manual transaxle. Although Ferrari was increasing sales in North American markets, Series II production remained at a mere 460 units spanning 1965-1967. Motoring press praised the handling and features of the Series II which were outfitted with Girling ventilated disc brakes at all four corners, independent front and rear suspension, and a rear mounted 5-speed transaxle. The spacious interior featured elegant leather finishes, comfortable driving position, power assist features, and ample trunk space. All this combined to deliver impressive handling, fantastic acceleration, and reliable road use, even when pressed into service on a more regular basis. Rare today, as many examples have been sadly robbed of drivetrain or component parts put into service for replicas, the 330 GT 2+2 has more recently become favored by top-tier enthusiasts who delight in driving authentic cars in Ferrari club events and participating in premier concours shows. The added benefit of extra room for rear passengers and space for more than a weekend’s worth of luggage makes these ideal cars for multi-day tours and road events. This beautifully restored matching-numbers 330 GT 2+2 presents with a treasure trove of documentation including hundreds of photos, file folders full of detailed services, restoration notes, and excel spreadsheets outlining tasks performed during the thirteen-year restoration. Documented with expenditures exceeding $400,000, the work began in 2002 and was completed in 2015 under prior ownership. Restoration work performed on the chassis, engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, and wheels was performed by Vintage Connection, Oklahoma City, OK who oversaw the process under prior ownership. The current owner purchased this car after the restoration was completed in 2015 and has since had Ferrari expert Patrick Ottis perform an additional $34k in post-restoration sorting. The restoration began with the entire drivetrain, exterior chrome, and all glass removed from the car. All body work was stripped to bare metal and all steel work performed using welded steel not synthetic fillers. All chrome and bright work was polished and replated, all exterior feature gaskets were replaced, light fixtures were rechromed, and a new wiring harness was installed. The body was prepped for paint and refinished in Ferrari Argento (Silver) by Joe Hall, Oklahoma City, OK. Three coats of Akzo Nobel Sikkens “Autobase Plus” polyurethane base coat were sprayed, followed by four coats of Sikkens clear with color sanding between coats. The complete interior was removed including door panels, carpet, underlayment, dashboard, rear seating, headliner, and center console. With the inner metal inspected and cleaned, all new heat and sound insulation was installed, and all seating surfaces were reupholstered by Dan Kirkpatrick Interiors, Chouteau, OK using top-grade leather in the original factory color VM3015 Bleu. Additionally, all seat foam was replaced with hand shaped foam, new headliner was installed, the sun visors were professionally restored by Bob Smith’s Coachworks, Gainesville, TX, and the original wood dashboard was refinished by experts at Madera Concepts, Goleta, CA. All gauges including the clock, defroster, and vents, were removed and reconditioned by Larry Crump, OK. The matching numbers 12-cylinder engine was removed and the engine disassembled to the bare block. The crankshaft damper was re-lined and re-balanced, the water pump inner chamber was Teflon coated, the cylinder walls were bored to 78.2mm and custom-made JE pistons and rings (stock configuration and compression) were fitted to the newly bored cylinders. All high-stress studs (crank bearing caps, head, rocker arm frame) were replaced with ARP custom-made studs with 12-point nuts and heavy flat washers. Jim Lewis Racing Engines prepared the short block, Autosport Seattle machined and rebuilt the heads with new valve seats, Teflon valve guides, and Manley one-piece stainless-steel valves. All oil-washed surfaces were coated with Glyptol. The carburetors were rebuilt by Pierce Manifolds, Hollister, CA, and new correct fuel lines and hard fuel lines were refinished and installed while the fuel tank was resealed and refinished by Gastank Renu. The original 5-speed transmission was removed and reconditioned by Larry Buskirk, Novato, CA including new seals, gaskets, new synchros, resurfaced clutch disc, flywheel and pressure plate ground flat and trued, and both clutch master cylinder, master and slave brake cylinders rebuilt, and a new guibo installed. The entire exhaust system aft of the exhaust headers was replaced with stainless-steel exhaust and mufflers which were coated to OEM specifications by Timevalve. A new set of exhaust headers were ceramic coated and installed. The suspension, wheels, and brakes were comprehensively rebuilt including custom made brake discs, new brake pads, rebuilt calipers, rebuilt shock absorbers, rebuilt rear leaf springs, rebuilt differential, custom made front suspension cups, and a pair of winch rings added to the front cross member. All tire and wheel assemblies were balanced using coiled lead wire, the knockoffs were restored and refinished, and the spare wheel was restored by Dayton Wire Wheels, Dayton, OH. The original style Becker-Europa radio was converted to modern electronics and, in preparation for consignment, in April 2025 with 82,961 miles, Larry Buskirk inspected the car for proper mechanical operation and replaced all fluids with the exception of the differential fluid which was determined suitable when inspected. Presented today with exceptional finishes throughout, this Ferrari is exemplary in every respect with finishes worthy of Ferrari concourse reception. Supported by copies of the original factory build sheet, the build was initiated July 13, 1966, completed September 28, 1966, and ordered with power windows and power steering. The owner reports that the factory colors have been confirmed by Marcel Massini, and that all serial numbered subassemblies are original to the car. Retaining the original engine and the original 5-speed gearbox, this 330 GT 2+2 should be considered one of the most beautifully restored examples available on the market today. The smooth silver finish shows excellent gloss, and the metallic flake has been applied with the correct density often not as thoughtfully applied by lesser skilled paint technicians. The body panel gaps are excellent exhibiting tight closures from the doors, hood, and trunk. The chrome bumpers, headlight trim, various garnish molding, and door handles are all in excellent condition. The beautifully finished aluminum grille, chrome grille surround, and prancing horse emblem are also in excellent condition. The glass and lighting display no evidence of delamination or crazing. The correct size “Route Borrani” wire wheels are properly polished, correctly wire wound balanced, and virtually unmarked around the perimeter and rim edges, presenting with gleaming spokes, polished luster to the aluminum finish, correct brand decals, and stunning chrome-plated triple ear knock offs. All four wheels are outfitted with period correct Pirelli Cinturato 205 VR15 tires and a restored matching Borrani wire wheel resides in the underside trunk spare well. Tucked under the rear bumper, a pair of correctly angled quad tip ANSA exhaust accurately represent the factory specifications. The stunning blue interior offers the perfect blend of elegance and vintage sporting fashion. The finishes and materials exhibit superb quality confirming the years of perfection sought by the restoring owner. The fit and finish on the inner door panels, crisp and finely stitched center console, and top of the dashboard are very fine. The warm wood tones on the dashboard and darker blue carpet create a refined color contrast – a breath of fresh air beyond the more typically seen monochromatic black interior. The original wood rimmed steering wheel features the iconic yellow Ferrari emblem flanked by aluminum spokes – traditional materials delivering timeless sporting elegance. The gorgeous high contrast Veglia instruments are beautifully finished with excellent color and numeric indication, while the Becker-Europa radio (discretely updated with modern electronics), power windows, emblems, and interior detailing exemplify the combined beauty of vintage Italian design and contemporary restoration excellence. Under the hood, the original numbers matching engine and finely detailed engine compartment display correctly finished components and hardware unique to V12 front-engine Ferraris of the 1960s. The triple Weber carburetors are capped with the correct air cleaner and air intake assembly, factory correct spin-nuts, correctly contoured hoses, proper fasteners, and correctly applied hardware. The engine area has been very nicely detailed including a correct tufted diamond silver hood insulation pad, wire wound yellow hoses, correctly plumbed lines, and original manufacturers plates and labels. The factory stamped engine is correctly stamped with the original single strike numbers which match the original chassis plate on the car. The car starts, idles, and runs very well. A crisp V12 exhaust note comes on strong with each smoothly executed upshift from the 5-speed manual gearbox. Seating is comfortable and spacious even for taller drivers. The combination of excellent visibility, comfortable seating position, ample interior room, and usable trunk space, make the 330 GT 2+2 ideal for worldwide touring events. On the road, this Ferrari is nimble and handles very well. The Girling disc brakes operate well, coming down from higher speeds with strong pedal pressure, while the responsive independent suspension is balanced on mountain roads and comfortable at highway speeds. The underside of the car conveys quality finishes which have been properly serviced during restoration and maintained by the current owner. This 330 GT 2+2 comes with a car cover, various spare parts, a tool kit assembled by the previous owner, two restored tool bags, a restored original tire jack, restored ratchet, and the original pliers. The remaining tools that comprise the kit are reproductions. An emergency window crank is included with the tools. A large case of restoration records, photographs, and various technical notes are also included. Various bagged small parts, two sets of stainless-steel jack hole plugs, and two wire wheel knock offs are also included. In addition to the tools and jack, a set of owner’s manuals, Becker-Europa Il radio and a carburetor technical introduction, a May 1967 Ferrari factory price list, several magazine articles on the 330GT 2+2, a 1967, a dealer brochure and a postcard (Series I). A l Cavallino Rampante leather pouch for the owner's manual, parts manual and other documents are also included. This Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 represents one of the very best and most beautifully restored numbers matching examples available today. The fantastic 5-speed manual gearbox, nimble steering, and fully independent suspension, coupled with legendary V12 power delivers an exhilarating ownership experience, sure to delight the next fortunate enthusiast poised in the driver’s seat. 1967 Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 Fantasy Junction If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1960 Ferrari 400 Superamerica SWB

Ferrari’s Superamerica models of the late 1950s and early 1960s were truly the last word in sporting excellence. Offering the very best money could buy in terms of luxury and performance, its no surprise that these cars often found their way into the garages of heads of state, barons of industry, and other well-to-do individuals. Succeeding the 410 Superamerica, the 400 Superamerica offered numerous improvements over its predecessor. While the engine decreased in displacement from 5.0-litres to 4.0-litres, several other new features countered this. The 5.0-litre V-12 was a “long-block” Lampredi-designed unit, while the revised smaller engine was based on the Colombo single overhead-camshaft powertrain that was first utilised in the 250 Europa GT. To increase the capacity from 3.0-litres, the bore was enlarged to 77 millimetres and the stroke was lengthened to 71 millimeters, providing a total capacity of 3,967 cubic centimetres. Furthermore, a twin-coil and distributor ignition system was utilised, along with triple-Weber carburetors, granting the engine an improved 340 horsepower, but also an incredible 400 Nm (295 ft.lb) from 2.000 rpm and a maximum torque 450 Nm (331 ft.lb) at 6.000 rpm. As a result, these cars are considered today among the best driving of 1960s Ferraris. Boasting 25 per cent greater engine capacity than a 250 GT Berlinetta or California Spider, the 400 Superamerica produces far more horsepower and torque than either of its forebears. The 400 Superamerica was also fitted with an overdrive as standard—while no overdrive was available for the 250 GT models apart from the GTE—making it far more comfortable to drive over long distances. Finally, it is important to remember that the 400 Superamerica’s chassis and powertrain was so great that it provided the basis for the 330 LMB and 330 TRi racing cars, of which the 330 TRi LM won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1962. The 400 Superamerica production run can be divided into two groups, based on either long- or short-wheelbase chassis. The first batch of cars produced—of which includes the car on offer here, chassis 1945 SA—boasted a 2,420 millimetre chassis, while the second batch boasts the longer 2,600 millimetre chassis. Of the short-wheelbase cars, just 25 examples were produced, with only seven bodied as cabriolets. Chassis number 1945 SA was built in mid-1960 as the third of those seven short-wheelbase cabriolets, and this example was built to left-hand-drive configuration with open headlamps. It was finished in a beautiful, albeit unusual, colour combination of Verde Bottiglia (MM 16364) over Rosso (VM 3171). It was fitted since new with a set of three Weber 46 DCF, like on a 250 SWB “Sefac Hot Rod”, and a pair of Bosch ignition distributors. The coachwork was completed by Pinin Farina in July of 1960 and was sold new to Helmut Horton, a German entrepreneur based in Croglio, Switzerland. In January of the following year, the car was registered in Milan under Horten Italiana S.r.l, and it remained in Italy for the following three years under Horton’s ownership. The Superamerica then passed to a Mr. Warzits in Germany sometime thereafter and was believed to have been exported to the United States for a brief period. However, by 1985, the car had returned to Europe and was then painted white. At this time, it was acquired by Bernard Pfister of Geneva, Switzerland. Pfister repainted the car red in 1989 and it remained in Switzerland with him for the next few years and was displayed at Ferrari Suisse SA in Nyon. In June of 1997, 1945 SA was listed for sale in Marseille, France and was purchased one month later by Scott Rosen of Bedford Hills, New York. Subsequently exported to the US, the car remained in his ownership for two years before being purchased by the late noted sports car enthusiast Oscar Davis of Elizabeth, New Jersey. One year later, Davis sold the Superamerica to a Florida-based collector, yet the car would stay in northern New Jersey for the time being, as it was entrusted to Classic Coach for a full restoration. Founded in 1972 and well known and regarded in Ferrari circles in the US, Classic Coach was Ferrari’s first authorised bodywork repair facility in the US. Their owners would later open two authorised Ferrari dealerships in the US: Ferrari of Central Florida and Ferrari of Tampa Bay. It was decided that chassis 1945 SA would be returned to its original colour combination of Verde Bottiglia over Rosso during this complete, frame-off restoration. No cost was spared to restore the Superamerica back to a spectacular standard. Following the completion of the restoration work, the car was shipped to noted Ferrari specialist Greg Jones of Stuart, Florida. Jones was entrusted with further dialing in the car mechanically, ensuring that every facet of the car worked perfectly. Receipts for the work completed by both Classic Coach and Greg Jones remain in the car’s history file. Remaining with that owner until 2015, the car was sold via RM Sotheby’s to its current owner, a Monaco-based enthusiast, who returned the car to Europe to a discerning collector who happen to do business in the past with the first owner. With him, the car has been used and enjoyed as its manufacturer would have intended. Seen occasionally driving around the streets of Monaco, the car has been shown once at Elégance et Automobile à Monte-Carlo in 2019. It has been granted Ferrari Classiche certification, confirming that it retains its original body, chassis, transmission and rear axle and that the original crank case was changed by Ferrari in November of 1963, which still remains fitted to the car today. With its current owner, the car has been very well maintained by Autofficina Omega of Corrado Patella, including further mechanical work to ensure it drives and performs as one would expect. Its most recent service work with them was the fitment of a new clutch in February 2020. The car still presents in excellent condition throughout and would surely be welcome with open arms to any major concours event worldwide. Well maintained and enjoyed with current owner, it could easily be used on the road as a warm-weather weekend driver. Regardless of whether it is to be enjoyed on the open road or the concours lawn, it will certainly be a joy to own and will attract only the most favorable of compliments wherever it goes. 1960 Ferrari 400 Superamerica SWB RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1961 Maserati 3500GT Vignale Spyder 1

The late 1950s were a halcyon period for Grand Touring cars and few were more stylish than the Maserati 3500GT Vignale Spyder. This particular example – chassis number AM101.1297 – is one of only five right-hand-drive cars built and was completed on 23 May 1961. The Maserati is thought to have been sold new via Arturo Tuena in Genoa to an Englishman who was living in Italy – hence the right-hand-drive configuration. Finished in Acciaio Brunito with a black interior, it originally wore steel wheels but they were later replaced with the optional Borrani wires. As a relatively early example of the 3500GT Spyder, it featured the four-speed gearbox. Not until later in the production run did Maserati fit a five-speed unit. The car was in the UK by 1969, when it was acquired by Stuart Cawley, who had seen it advertised for sale in Motor Sport magazine. It had been repainted Cream but was still on Milanese registration plates, and having bought it for £1200 – against which he part-exchanged his Mercedes-Benz 190SL – Cawley drove it from London back home to Scotland. Having used the Maserati for a couple of years, he drove it down to Italy in 1971 so that the engine could receive some remedial work at Autocorse – as recommended by the factory. Having not been entirely happy with the results, he returned in 1972 so that a more comprehensive rebuild of the straight-six could be carried out. Cawley moved to Hertfordshire in 1975 and got to know marque specialist Bill McGrath. When Cawley later retired, he went to work for McGrath part-time, and in return Bill stored the 3500GT Vignale Spyder free of charge. Having not had much use out of the car in the later years of his ownership, Cawley eventually decided to sell it in 2000 to Patrick Martin, who he knew as a customer of McGrath. Martin had it mechanically recommissioned and in 2004 used it for the Maserati 90th anniversary celebrations in Italy. The following year, he sold the car to Edwin Faulkner, who commissioned a bodywork restoration by Jim Henshaw, during which it was resprayed in the Maserati shade of Avorio. A retrim was also carried out. Faulkner kept the Vignale Spyder on the Isle of Man and, as part of the registration process there, had to replace the original kilometres-per-hour speedometer with a miles-per-hour version. He sold it in 2010 to a UK-based owner who had it returned to its original colour of Acciaio Brunito by respected restoration firm Moto Technique. Three years later it passed to another UK enthusiast, and in 2014 it was used on the Maserati Club Scottish Tour as well as the Goodwood Road Racing Club’s Corsica and Sardinia Tour. The Maserati was displayed at concours events and was runner-up in the Club Trophy at the 2016 Concours of Elegance at Windsor Castle. It was also part of the Earls Court display at the 2014 Goodwood Revival, and was first in class and overall winner at the 2016 Maserati Club Concours. Now being offered for sale at The Classic Motor Hub in exceptional condition, this well-known and supremely stylish Maserati 3500GT Vignale Spyder has been maintained with no expense spared in recent years. In February 2022, its gearbox and steering box were rebuilt by McGrath and it benefits from electric power-steering. It also comes with a consignment of spares that includes five road wheels, a pair of front brake discs and a steering column, plus an original copy of the driver’s manual. MODEL HISTORY Maserati had achieved great motorsport success during the 1950s, but despite taking Juan Manuel Fangio to his fifth and final Formula 1 World Championship in 1957, it announced its withdrawal from racing that year. The Italian company was in financial trouble and until that point it had built production road cars in only very small numbers. That changed in 1957 with the introduction of the 3500GT, which drew on Maserati’s racing experience but would be produced in far greater quantities than previous road cars. Originally launched as a 2+2 coupé, the 3500GT featured bodywork by Touring that was mounted on a tubular chassis. Beneath the bonnet was a 3485cc straight-six that was closely related to the marque’s competition engines and featured twin overhead camshafts, twin-plug ignition and a trio of twin-choke Webers. Following the success of the coupé, Touring and Frua both built prototypes for a keenly anticipated Spyder variant, but in the end Maserati commissioned a design of timeless elegance that had been created by Giovanni Michelotti for Vignale. When it was introduced in 1959, the 3500GT Vignale Spyder featured drum brakes all round – those at the front were soon replaced by discs – while suspension was via wishbones and coil springs at the front, with semi-elliptic leaf springs at the rear. The wheelbase was slightly shorter than on the coupé, at 2500mm rather than 2600mm. Upgrades applied during its production run included a five-speed gearbox in place of the previous four-speeder, all-round disc brakes from 1962, and the development of the 3500GTI. Having been fitted with Lucas fuel-injection, the power output for this model was boosted to 235bhp – the carburettor-fed model gave in the region of 220bhp. In total, 245 Vignale Spyders were built between 1959 and 1964. When Road & Track magazine tested a 3500GT Spyder, it compared it favourably to the Ferrari 250 GT. With a top speed approaching 140mph, it certainly had the performance to go with its good looks, and it was little wonder that the Maserati became the Grand Tourer of choice for captains of industry and glamorous socialites alike. 1961 Maserati 3500GT Vignale Spyder The Classic Motor Hub If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster

In recent years, the classic car industry has become awash with specialist companies whose sole endeavour is to upgrade and improve on design classics. From 105-Series Alfa Romeos to Jaguar E-Types, modern technology is being applied to period icons in an effort to match the performance, usability, and comfort of contemporary automobiles—often to the detriment of a car’s unique character. But there is one model, perhaps above all others, that was so far advanced at the point of launch that today, after more than six decades, absolutely no improvements are necessary: the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster. Its closed sibling, the 300 SL ‘Gullwing’, pioneered a number of technological innovations that are now mainstays in the wider automobile industry, ranging from fuel injection to its lightweight tubular-frame chassis. With the launch of the 300 SL Roadster following the conclusion of Gullwing production, Mercedes-Benz continued to refine and advance the platform, setting a benchmark standard for open-topped performance cars. World-beating in period, the model remains one of the exemplary automobiles of its generation—and one whose pace, refinement, and dynamism still has the power to excite almost 70 years on. First registered in July 1957 and supplied to its native Germany, this 300 SL Roadster was originally finished in the model’s trademark Silver-Grey Metallic (DB 180G). Little is known of the car’s early history, but by 1990, it was still in Germany, in the care of Erik Schwanke of Wachterg, who commissioned a restoration in 1993. Photographs on file, dating from 1994, show the car finished in Silver-Grey over Red leather. After completion of the restoration, the car was purchased by Michael Eschmann of Gummersbach, and from 1996 to 1998, it belonged to Peter Aaray, in whose care the car received further mechanical work, including a rear axle and engine rebuild, as well as a new clutch. From 1998 until 2008, the Mercedes-Benz was owned by Wolfgang Schleinitz of Wildeshausen, who undertook a gearbox rebuild in 2006. In 2008, the 300 SL was sold to a Mr. Nikkolas Benopoulos, a collector and owner of multiple 300 SLs, and was subsequently shipped to and registered in his native Greece. After being sold by him in 2013, the car was acquired by the current owner and imported to the UK, where it remains today. Shortly after the 300 SL’s arrival in the UK, the car was entrusted to respected restorer Hilton & Moss. No strangers to Mercedes-Benz products and 300 SLs, their inspection showed that although the 1993 restoration was carried out to a good standard, further investigations revealed improper damage repairs to the rear section of the car and other minor flaws. As a result, the car was stripped to bare metal and fully restored to return it to as-new condition—a restoration that would involve some 3,500 hours of labour. It was decided the car would be finished in the period-correct colour scheme of Anthracite Grey (DB 172) over a contrasting Red leather interior, making for a more unusual and alluring colour combination. During the restoration, it was determined that—at some point—the car had been fitted with a replacement engine of the correct type. Following the completion of the restoration, the car was shown at Salon Prive in 2017, where it was awarded second-in-class honours. Invoices on file show that the car was subject to 500 miles of shakedown testing by Hilton & Moss following the completion of the restoration in 2016, also detailing servicing by the specialist in 2017 and 2018. The 300 SL’s last service was undertaken by Martin Cushway Engineering in March 2020, considered by many to be the UK’s go-to 300 SL specialist; the car has covered just under 250 miles since. As such, it remains in truly excellent condition throughout. On the road, the 300 SL Roadster performs impeccably, with linear acceleration, smooth gear changes, and a dialled-in engine that simply purrs. Among modern traffic, it immediately becomes apparent how advanced the car is for its age, with road manners that belie its age—it is no wonder that these accomplished machines have become mainstays in large collections and favourites for long-distance touring. Not only is the car easy and engaging to drive, it is also very comfortable and quite practical, with a boot big enough for several days’ worth of luggage for two. This beautifully restored and tastefully finished 300 SL Roadster will excel at whatever its next owner has in store, all while exuding an unparalleled degree of class and sophistication. 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1973 BMW 3.0 CSL 1

The many successful racing applications of BMW’s E9 series earned the Munich marque plaudits, yet perhaps none is more important than the 3.0 CSL. A homologation special, BMW unleashed 1,265 road-going units of the Coupé Sport Leicht into enthusiast ownership. The 3.0 CSL was lighter than the contemporary 3.0 CS or CSi thanks to its thinner steel bodywork. Highly successful on the racetrack, the 3.0 CSL won the 1973 European Touring Car Championship with Toine Hezemans, and Hervé Poulain’s entry to the 1975 24 Hours of Le Mans with “Art Car”-styled livery by Alexander Calder stole the hearts of motorsport fans around the world. Chassis 2285395 is a rare and fascinating take on BMW’s homologated supercar slayer. Beginning life as a road-registered, factory 3.0 CSL, the car was delivered new to the United Kingdom and first registered on 13 September 1973. While its earliest years are not documented, it is thought that by the 1990s it had been transformed into a race-prepped machine. In 2000, the car was noted in a previous auction description to have been fitted with a 3.5-litre engine, while it is thought to have worn a livery applied in tribute to Calder’s “Art Car”. The car was later refinished in the white, red, and blue livery it wears today. Its conversion into race specification was comprehensive. A stripped-out interior is framed by a roll cage, with a pair of Sparco Evo II racing seats enveloped by multi-point harness seatbelts. A panel featuring switchgear and emergency cut-off controls replaces the convention centre console. Around the outside of the car, an impressive aero body kit sculpted by large air intakes is matched by a set of deep-dish split-rim wheels wearing Avon tyres. The boot features a fuel tank fed by dual filler spouts mounted through the boot lid. Deployed at historic racing events by previous owners—including noted outings at the 2011 Algarve Classic Festival and 2012 Donington Historic Festival by Andrew Smith and John Young—the BMW could be an ideal companion for its next owner at the events for which this car is eligible. In June 2017 the car was granted an FIA Historic Technical Passport for the Competition Touring Car class. 1973 BMW 3.0 CSL RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1974-alfa-romeo-1600-junior-zagato

This rare 1600 version of the Junior Zagato was imported from Italy where it remained its life into Belgium by a well known specialist. The car had an ASI Gold plate showing its originality. Somewhere it has received a repaint in its Bianco Spine as it was from new. The engine is the correct tipo for the 1600 Junior Zagato! In 2015 our client purchased this lovely example and had it meticulously inspected and service by a long term Alfa aficionado and engineer. He was amazed with the exceptional untouched under carriage of the car as most have had rust problems. The car was then Dutch registered and the car was used for a nice trip to Italy. More recently the car was serviced and new stiffer springs and yellow Koni shock absorbers were fitted. The interior is very original and nicely kept with the correct Zagato carpets and black vinyl interior. The car is a joy to drive with a strong engine and excellent shifting gearbox. Model history The Alfa Romeo 1600 Junior Zagato is a lightweight two-seater coupé based on the Giulia platform and designed by Zagato. Produced between 1972 and 1975 in limited numbers – only 402 examples produced – it is one of the rarest production Alfa Romeos of its time. It is powered by Alfa’s proven 1.6-litre twin-cam inline-four engine with twin carburettors, producing around 109 hp and paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The car features independent front suspension, rear-wheel drive, and disc brakes all around. Zagato gave the Junior a distinctive look focused on function and aerodynamics. The design, by Ercole Spada, includes a low nose, sharply cut tail (Kamm tail), and lightweight aluminium panels combined with steel. Compared to other Alfa GTs of the era, the Zagato stood out for its minimalism, compact dimensions, and attention to weight reduction. The 1600 model introduced subtle design and interior updates over the earlier 1300 version, as well as improved performance. This is a rare and interesting alternative to the more common Bertone-bodied Alfa coupés, offering the same mechanical charm with unique styling and lower production numbers. 1974 Alfa Romeo 1600 Junior Zagato Very Superior Old Cars If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. The notice and take down procedure is described here: https://www.speedholics.com/copyright This rare 1600 version of the Junior Zagato was imported from Italy where it remained its life into Belgium by a well known specialist. • 1966 Ferrari 330 GTC by Pininfarina 1

While the lineage of mid-engine V-8 supercars has been a runaway success for Ferrari over recent decades, for many the quintessential models in the Maranello range are the 12-cylinder grand tourers. Built between 1966 and 1968, the 330 GTC was one such example. Beneath the elegant Pininfarina-designed bodywork, which featured styling cues from the 275 GTC and 500 Superfast, nestled a 4-litre Colombo V-12 engine fitted with three Weber carburettors to produce 300 horsepower at a sonorous 7,000 rpm. Supplied as standard with a full leather interior and electric windows, it made for a wonderful continental cruiser. From the first year of production and originally finished in Silver Grey over Nero Franzi leather, chassis 8873 is believed to be the 25th of the 600 examples of the 330 GTC built. One of 579 left-hand-drive cars, it was delivered in August 1966 and imported to Switzerland. Subsequently repainted red, the Ferrari remained in the country before entering the long-term ownership of Mr Gino Chiesa of Bubendorf in 1983. He kept the GTC for some 32 years. Towards the end of his custodianship, 7,061 Swiss francs was paid in August 2011 to Garage Salvadori Ivo to cover cleaning the engine, chassis, and underbody, while the exhaust was replaced and brake system refreshed. The following March, the seats were retrimmed in work totalling 2,456 Swiss francs. The car was then bought in June 2015 by Ferrari Club Austria vice-president Mr Josef Panis. He oversaw a repaint to the factory Silver Grey shade. The subsequent owner was keen a historic racer, Mr Robin Bernberg. He tasked Ferrari specialist GTO Engineering with carrying out a full inspection, with chassis 8873 duly awarded Ferrari Classiche certification in July 2019. The car was then acquired in the early 2020s by its consigning keeper, who had the 330 repainted in its current blue hue by 355 Automobile Restorations of Surrey. Thereafter, the car returned to GTO Engineering for regular servicing (invoices available to view on file). Accompanied by a history file, “Red Book”, and report by Ferrari historian Marcel Massini, this supremely glamorous 330 GTC makes for, as its name suggests, a consummate grand-touring coupé. 1966 Ferrari 330 GTC by Pininfarina RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer.
