General Overview

For decades, astute collectors have sought Ferraris that can be driven enjoyably with friends and family members either for personal outings or as part of touring events hosted all over the world. During the 1960s, this same sentiment had allowed Ferrari to capture a larger market share with the addition of rear seating capacity accompanied by more luxurious driving amenities. Beginning with the successful 250 GTE, the 330 GT 2+2 followed in 1964, eventually succeeded by the 365 GT 2+2, Ferrari set a tradition of excellent four passenger touring cars. Debuting at the 1967 Paris Auto Show, the beautifully elongated Pininfarina body, influenced by the limited production 500 Superfast and Super Americas, featured dramatic front and rear overhangs, beautiful side glass, and handsome if not stately proportions. The 365 GT 2+2 not only offered impressive performance, it was a truly superlative grand touring car, capturing the hearts of sports car enthusiasts and the motoring press. With its 320 bhp 4.4 Liter V12 engine and five-speed gearbox, 0-60 times were achieved in a remarkable 7.0 seconds with a top speed of 150 mph. Girling four-wheel ventilated disc brakes, independent suspension all round, and Koni's hydro-pneumatic self-leveling suspension system (to aid in weight balancing for rear passengers), delivered engaging performance with refined driving manners. Interior noise and vibration were vastly improved using isolating rubber drive-line mounts and, with comfort amenities such as ZF variable ratio power-assisted steering, power windows, power wing windows, and air conditioning as standard equipment, blending comfort with performance became thoughtfully united in a Ferrari fit for royalty. Which is partly the impetus for the nickname these cars earned when first reviewed by Road & Track as the “Queen Mother of Ferraris”. With a wide track and increased trunk capacity, the 365 GT was larger than previous Ferraris, but its size did not diminish the performance capacity or nimble road characteristics so highly desired by Ferrari owners.
History of this Ferrari According to the current owner and referenced in the book Ferrari Serial Numbers Part 1, this Ferrari was first sold to a Canadian buyer through the Ferrari dealer. As Canada had not yet converted to the metric system as their national standard, the car was built as a European version but fitted with US gauges. Reportedly delivered to the first owner in Canada, the car was imported to the US and retained by the second owner from 1980-2003, until it was sold to the prior owner. The current owner purchased the car https://bringatrailer.com/list... and offered it for sale the following year https://bringatrailer.com/list... Copies of service records accompanying this Ferrari date back to 1988 when it was located in Vermont where RPM rebuilt the engine, transmission and rear axle serviced, as ongoing service invoiced under the same owner continued through the 1990s. By 2001, service invoice #1644 indicates the car had logged 54,972 miles. In 2003, the car was serviced by the next owner, at Boston Sportscar, Weston, MA. In 2004, the mufflers were replaced, transmission synchros replaced, and new brake hoses were installed. Services continued at Ferrari of New England, Newton, MA including a new clutch assembly and flywheel along with a steering box installed in 2012 with 74,720 miles indicated as well as overhauling the pedal assembly in 2013. Recent work performed under current ownership provided by Grand Prix Motors, Campbell, CA includes annual fluid service and the installation of a set of new mufflers.
General Condition

Today this Ferrari presents in very nice overall condition featuring a smooth and glossy darker red finish. The paint was applied under prior ownership and while showing mild evidence of age, remains vivid and consistent. Under current ownership paint correction was professionally done and a protective ceramic coating was applied to the finish. The doors shut with a crisp latch and hold position flush to the body surfaces. The hood and trunk lids open and close properly also with excellent panel gaps. The chrome finishes are consistent and smooth with correct hardware, excellent window trim, and new rubber gaskets. The emblems and badges are all in excellent condition as are the glass and plastic lenses. The Borrani wire wheels are correctly refinished and wear a set of correct Michelin XWX 215/70 VR15 tires. The wheels are mounted with single hub chrome plated triple ear centers.
The tan leather interior is believed to be original and has aged gracefully with some surfaces showing cracks in the leather and some rub-through on the driver’s seat piping, but otherwise consistent and supple to the touch. The front seats offer excellent support and correct seat stitching. The dashboard and instruments are beautifully maintained exhibiting excellent color, clarity, and bright contrasting numeric indication. The wood dashboard is in very nice condition, draping downward into the center console, which features secondary instruments, and a modern Alpine AM/FM CD stereo, air conditioning vents, and electric window switches both of which actuate smoothly up and down for both side windows. The five speed manual gear selector is readily at hand and a Nardi wood rim steering wheel is beautifully finished with a warm feel to the rim supported by an aluminum hub and triple spokes. The headliner, sun visors, and center console materials appear to be original. Throughout the interior, a range of delicate and refined switches, handles, and interior components have been addressed with thoughtful considerations preserving originality wherever possible. The trunk compartment is lined with black carpet and houses a full sized spare wheel stored under the trunk floor. Under the hood, the original matching numbers engine delivers a very satisfying visual impression, with correct factory finishes and strong visual presentation overall. Correct features include the proper hoses, lines, and correct fasteners, as well as correct air cleaner, proper black textured cam covers, and the original factory chassis plate. Outfitted with air conditioning from the factory, the AC system is functional but does not currently provide conditioned air to the cabin. The underside of the car is clean and well-tended with no visual evidence of structural compromise to the chassis floor, rocker panels, or main suspension mounting points. The recently replaced mufflers are correct replacement units with correct hangers and a beautiful set of ANSA quad exhausts exiting under the rear bumper. The car starts consistently warm or cold and idles smoothly at rest. Once seated in the driver’s seat, it’s evident why this series Ferrari has become the go-to vintage Ferrari for those who enjoy events with friends and family. Plenty of space for larger drivers, ample storage in the trunk, and a surprisingly roomy rear seat. Driving manners are quite nice with a bit more touring flavor to the driving experience. Braking is excellent overall with firm pedal pressure even when coming down from higher speeds. Best of all, the panoramic exterior view over the long hood, lovely array of Veglia gauges nestled in the beautiful wood faced dash, and the open roadway vanishing beneath the outstretched fenders creates a captivating driving experience. This Ferrari 365 GT 2+2 is a welcomed example of Ferrari performance and Pininfarina design exemplifying the front engine V12 designs so loved from the Enzo era. Ready for club events, concours shows, and enjoyable drives through beckoning mountain roads, this 365 GT 2+2 is poised to deliver the very best in Ferrari performance and luxury from an unrepeatable era of superlative motorcars.

This lovely car is a nicely prepared fast road and or rally car, Fitted with good leather sport seats with a roll bar, Sparco 4 point harness, Halda twin master, Sparco steering wheel. Accompanied by an extensive documentation file, including a copy of its original Carta di Circolazione Autovettura. It was delivered new in 1972 in the Venice region (Italy), where it remained for many years. From 1987 to 1998, the car was owned by Stefania Grande, who resided near Treviso. In 1998, the car was exported to Austria, where it underwent a restoration in Vienna. The restoration was completed in 1999 and is nicely documented with invoices and some pictures. The Austrian owner was clearly a passionate enthusiast, participating in numerous rallies with the car: including the Circuito di Conegliano (2001, 2003), Coupes des Alpes (2002), Tulip Rallye (2003, 2005), Alpenfahrt (2005), Trieste–Vienna (2006), 1000 Minuten Klassik (2007), Rallye Hamburg–Berlin (2010), and the Voralpen Classic (2011). Throughout this period, the car was well maintained, with supporting invoices. In 2010, four new reproduction Cromodora CD28 wheels were installed, along with new Weber carburettors. Additionally, an aluminium protection plate (sump guard) was fitted. In 2013, the car was sold to another gentleman from Hamburg, Germany, who also participated in several events, including the Bodensee Klassik (2014, 2015) and the Sauerland Klassik (2015). Between 2014 and 2015, approximately 20.000,- Euro was spent on mechanical work, among others a gearbox rebuilt. These invoices are also on file. The car remained with the same owner until 2020, when it was acquired by the current Dutch owner, who participated in the Eifel Rallye in 2022. The body presents well with good panel fit. The interior is well set up and functional for historic events with good seats. The car starts and runs very well and a test drive confirms the overall presentation with a nice setup and handling and strong performance with a smooth gear change. The car is offered with a large history file and workshop manuals and also its original correct interior and bumpers. It performs really well and offers strong driving performance! The notice and take down procedure is described here: https://www.speedholics.com/copyright This lovely car is a nicely prepared fast road and or rally car, Fitted with good leather sport seats with a roll bar, Sparco 4 point harness, Halda twin master, Sparco steering wheel. This car has been driven in quite some rallies and is ready to do it again! The price is Euro 46.500,-. Dutch registered. We can arrange shipping and transport. Today, the Series II 1600 HF is highly regarded among collectors and enthusiasts. Its combination of usability, competition heritage, and unmistakable character makes it a compelling entrant in historic rally events, as well as an enjoyable and rewarding classic for road use! • 1978-ferrari-308-gts

The 1970s were a turbulent period in Maranello. Ferrari had to respond to emerging competition from Lamborghini (with the Countach) and Porsche (with the 911 Turbo). The days of big V12s gave way to more compact, V8-powered sports cars. Ferrari had to come up with an answer, and what an answer it was: the Ferrari 308 GTS. At the Cool Classic Club, we have an exceptional example in our Clubhouse: a 1978 Ferrari 308 GTS originally delivered to the United States. This example underwent a complete Nut & Bolt restoration. This car has been rebuilt down to the smallest details, with both the technology carefully overhauled. Since the car found its way to the Netherlands, a dedicated owner was ready to welcome her with open arms. A restoration project of this caliber requires craftsmanship, which is why the car was completely rebuilt by specialists. In 2024, the car was registered in the Netherlands. After the first drive-in miles, the final refinements and improvements were made, so the teething problems are out of the way and this Ferrari is now an absolute winner. Are you ready to shift the dog-leg gearbox from two to three with agility, while the roaring V8 behind you breaks loose and delivers a punch in the back? This is pure authentic driving pleasure. Not to mention the beautiful lines ... simply too delicious. 1978 Ferrari 308 GTS Cool Classic Club If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1976-porsche-911s-targa

This 911 began as a stock 1976 Porsche 911S Targa. Though the early history of this car is not known at this time, the former owner purchased it from a seller in Florida in 2005. After struggling to get the car to meet her driving needs, she sold the non-running car to the current owner in 2019. After evaluating the car, the current owner, a lifelong car enthusiast and professional equine dental practitioner, determined this Porsche would be an excellent candidate to design and build something special based on his vision for an updated Targa. After five years and over $80,000 spent in services, parts, and restoration, the 85-year-old owner decided it was time to offer the car to a younger enthusiast – one that might continue the refinement of this Porsche. During the build, this car was rebodied with 993 series body panels molded in fiberglass, retaining the steel front lid and doors. The body was constructed over the existing 1976 platform, retaining the Targa hoop, rear glass, side glass, and installing a new windshield. Paint and body specialist Todd Rego performed the body and paint work, finished in Midnight Blue Pearl. A set of HRE performance rims were installed with Falken 225/40 18 front tires and 335/30 ZR18 BF Goodrich rear tires (total 14” width). In addition to the custom body and paint work performed on this car, the brakes were upgraded to four-piston calipers (reportedly from a Ferrari) paired with drilled rotors. All four brake calipers were rebuilt, new braided brake lines installed, and a Boge front strut brace installed. The engine was rebuilt by Mobile Works West, Grass Valley, CA with assistance from various vendors including German Machine, Red Line Racing Cams (reconditioning 911S cams), Precision Machine, and EBS Racing. The engine is built from a 1975 European magnesium case which was rebuilt with new injectors, new head studs and oil fed tensioner, new aluminum rocker arm covers, reconditioning the rocker assembly, and machine work performed to high tolerances including polishing the crank and measuring cylinder tolerances. Additionally, while the engine was out, the flywheel was resurfaced and new transmission seals were installed. The front seats were redone in black leather with white seat piping, doors and floors were lined with Dynamat, the Targa bar was wrapped with carbon fiber, custom VDO Electronic gauges installed in the dash, a new Alpine smart stereo with custom speakers was installed, new custom foot pedals, new rubber seals, new Targa gaskets, new felt tracks for both doors, and window tinting were also installed. Titled and registered in California, this car has passed three prior emissions tests. Please note the following items: The owner has advised that the 3rd gear synchro is worn and thus requires slower shifting to engage third gear. The windshield washer system is currently not functional, most of the air conditioning components are in place but the system is currently non-functional. The exterior turn signals operate properly but do not self-cancel and the dash lights indicate opposite direction when actuated. The brake warning light remains on even when the brake is off, the passenger side window drops from the track roller, and the heater cable is not installed to actuate the heater (a new cable is included with the car). Condition and Presentation Displaying a wickedly wide rear stance, gleaming color, and custom touches, this 911S Targa offers the next owner an exciting opportunity to enhance this car with their own personal upgrades and continue in the outlaw direction established by the current owner. The finish is very well done, smooth, glossy, and displaying deep luster on all body panels. The lenses, lighting, bumpers, and various updated trim and script are also in excellent condition. The panel gaps are consistent showing good closures and tight fit, even for both doors which have very good part lines. The stance is well done sitting on HRE performance rims with Falken 225/40 18 front tires and 335/30 ZR18 BF Goodrich rear tires. Rear tire width is a whopping 14” across making for a fantastic rear view with the broad rear wing and tinted rear glass. The interior presents as a nice driver level car with custom black leather trimmed seats and white accent piping, black door panels, and black targa roof. The Targa roof cover will need to be replaced but a new cover kit is included with the spares. The door panels, carpeting, and side panels have a generally good quality feel to the finishes, though showing evidence of age. The dashboard is quite nice, featuring clean and nicely detailed aftermarket VDO instruments with good color and contrast. The car is outfitted with a 5-speed manual transmission and a carbon fiber finished shifter handle. The gear lever is situated in the center console which has been treated to a carbon fiber applique. Under the hood, the engine bay delivers a generally correct presentation reflective of original specifications with modest internal upgrades. The engine is clean and well maintained with very few miles recorded since it was professionally rebuilt. The front storage compartment is clean and well-maintained with the correct VIN stamping, a battery installed in 2024, and an aftermarket Boge strut tower brace. The underside is clean, dry, has no immediate visual signs of structural compromise, and appears to have been well cared for during earlier ownership. Visual evidence of yellow paint is a strong indication the original finish was yellow from the factory. The car starts, stops, and drives, though the gearbox will require synchromesh servicing. The engine pulls strong in all gears and the brakes operate very well on a tall pedal. In all, this is a dynamic Porsche ideal for the motoring enthusiast to enjoy as is and improve over time. Items Included with the Car This car is accompanied by a set of tubular headers, a display poster and easel, targa roof, a targa cover in box, a car cover, a space saver spare tire on factory style rim, a car cover, a set of black floor mats, a pair of side view mirrors, spare rubber trim pieces, stereo instruction manual and speaker manual, a pair of horns, LED bulb lights in box, heater cable, various tools, front license plate and brackets, and a brake master cylinder. 1976 Porsche 911S Targa Fantasy Junction If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1949 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Super Sport Cabriolet by Pinin Farina 1

This beautifully restored Alfa Romeo was delivered new to pre-war racing legend and subsequent Alfa Romeo factory racing team member Count Goffredo Zehender of Milan, Italy. According to noted Alfa Romeo expert Angelo Tito Anselmi, chassis number 915871 was built in October 1949, specified as a short-wheelbase Super Sport chassis, and equipped with engine number 928182. Specially prepared at Pinin Farina, this cabriolet coachwork design is believed to be limited to just three or four examples influenced by Zehander due to his racing prominence in the community which resulted in his cars finished with special details, either for himself, or for his friends and customers. These details included a unique front fascia with enveloping treatment, larger inset grille sections, a sculpted hood and rear haunches, and a license plate cut-out in the trunk lid. In addition to his racing prowess with Alfa Romeo, Zehander continued to race with Maserati and Mercedes-Benz during the 1930s while participating in the 24 Hours of Le Mans twice. The elegant but sporty 6C was the ideal cabriolet for the man who would ultimately manage the Scuderia Inter racing team, one of the first privateer teams to campaign Ferrari sports cars. After Zehander’s ownership, in 1953, a US Army officer purchased the car from the South of France and imported it to California. In March of 1957 it was acquired by Robert Allinger of Saratoga, California. Allinger, an American coachbuilder, was well known for his body designs building record chasing dry-lakes cars. Allinger was also an avid West Coast motorsports enthusiast who entered a Maserati Coupe for John Fox in 1957 at Laguna Seca, and an Osca, also for Fox, the following year. In 1969, Allinger sold the car to Wayne Williams of Mountain View, California, who retained the car in original condition, remaining for decades in dry California storage until 2010 after a remarkable 41 years of ownership, when it was purchased by the next owners who consigned it to Fantasy Junction. The car was sold to the current owner in 2013 who commissioned a comprehensive seven-year restoration of the finest quality employing expert European craftsmen addressing every detail, material, and finish befitting the historic import of this exquisite Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Super Sport. During the restoration, the restoration process was eased by nearly 50 years of indoor preservation allowing for only minor metal work to the original body and appropriate welding for the rocker sills. With many of the original parts properly preserved, details such as the factory wheel covers with brass centers were carefully restored while accurate templates supplied dimensions for consumables such as the meticulously fabricated exhaust. Further details were painstakingly restored with attention to authenticity, fit, and finish. Consistent with consummate attention to all aspects of the car, the correct in-line six-cylinder engine was delivered to a specialist in Belgium who disassembled it entirely and performed a comprehensive rebuild, while the suspension elements, rear axle, steering components, and radiator were rebuilt by a marque expert in Germany, with Italian specialists rebuilding the carburetors, instruments, and wiring loom. Addressing the finishing touches, Motorima in Sweden, Scandinavia’s leading specialist in Italian marques, refinished the car in grigio metallizzato including new chrome for the brightwork and careful refinishing for the beautifully complex 98-piece grille. Expert upholstery was carefully stitched and fitted in Norway using the finest forest green leather hides and sage green convertible top. In 2020, after seven years of careful restoration, this Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 was accepted for exhibition at the annual Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance where it would have been displayed in the special Pininfarina class to celebrate their 90th anniversary. Due to Covid restrictions, however, the event was cancelled, and the following year further travel restrictions prevented participation. Today this Alfa Romeo presents as one of the most stunning examples of this era, combining coachbuilding artistry and technical innovation. The finishes throughout are exemplary in every respect. Just as the traditions of fine Italian craftsmanship were applied when first built, premier European artisans have once again proven their exquisite restoration skills. The Pinin Farina coachwork with its unique design features adorns the elegant cabriolet Super Sport body with elegance and sporting flair. The lustrous, deep silver paint is beautifully finished, applied with consistent coverage and excellent final polish to all areas. This rich metallic color enhances the streamlined singular envelope body which was very advanced for the period. The polished rocker trim accentuates the low-profile body while a set of Blockley tires and full chrome wheel covers add to the sporting nature of this design. Refined brightwork surrounding the sculpted art deco headlamps is perfectly formed and polished, while accessory lights, specially trimmed rear license plate, and recessed door handles are beautifully fit to the body. The exterior trim, chrome, and elegant Super Sport features are beautifully presented while the contrasting dark green interior is offset by delightful amber handles and knobs, a wicker wound steering wheel, and Jaeger gauges. Every aspect of the leather interior is properly executed including correct seat pleats, door panels and pockets, and tinted plexiglass sun visors. No detail has escaped the careful eyes of the celebrated experts who participated in this world class restoration. Under the hood, the matching numbers engine and beautifully finished engine compartment have been comprehensively restored using correct factory finishes, correct hardware and fasteners, and proper wiring, all of which are brought together with mechanical refinement and aesthetic harmony befitting a car of this caliber. The engine castings are uniformly finished with attention to detail and authenticity in every respect, including the three original Weber carburetors, sculpted intake, and finned exhaust manifolds. The trunk is finished with a correct spare wire wheel, matching Blockley tire and a correct scissor jack with tire changing tools. The underside of the car has been restored with the same attention to detail and authenticity afforded to the exterior, displaying accurate details, proper fasteners, and correct exhaust down to the hand shaped square edge exhaust tip. The entire composition resonates with passionate Italian artistry and restoration excellence in this truly exceptional car. This Alfa Romeo is accompanied by tire changing tools, an owner’s manual and brochure, and a presentation display highlighting the restoration. This Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Super Sport represents a rare opportunity to acquire a beautifully restored Alfa Romeo with coach work by Pinin Farina and world-class restoration. The elegant body lines, sporting 6C engine, and stunning interior makes this Super Sport a welcomed entrant to any major event celebrating the icons of automotive history. For anyone passionate about the finest in design, state of the art engineering, and superb craftsmanship, this Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Super Sport will confidently deliver a lifetime of delightful motoring and ownership satisfaction. 1949 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Super Sport Cabriolet by Pinin Farina Fantasy Junction If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1975-chevron-b29-formula-2

Ex-Brian Redman with BMW M12 power. Comprehensively restored without regards to cost by J&L Fabrication Chevron was one of the most innovative and successful race car companies ever assembled. Built from the ground up by self-taught engineering genius Derek Bennett, it was, despite humble beginnings and minimal finances, immediately profitable. Unlike many experts in the complex and often costly world of motorsports racing, Bennett lacked specialized engineering training, a college degree, and marketing savvy. His expertise, however, evolved from his combined fascination with aircraft and racing, derived primarily from his daring experiments and short-lived apprenticeships in a range of fabrication shops. A bootstrapped start-up long before the term was coined, Chevron thrived on the facile and clever efforts of just a few staff members, quickly amassing race wins in every category entered, right up to Formula One, where a promising car was planned but never completed. Chevron’s best and most successful cars were 2.0L Sports Racers. Along with Lola, Chevron cars were among the most competitive small bore sports racings cars of the 1970s, leveraging their lightweight and durable chassis construction with proven engines and astutely designed aerodynamic bodies. Both Chevron and Lola essentially dominated sprint and endurance 2.0L sports car racing, with Chevron winning their class at the famed 24 hours of Le Mans three times: 1974 (B23), 1979, and 1980 (B36). History and Build Details of this Chevron Both the Chevron B25 and B27 had sold in strong numbers, so the B29 became a logical improved iteration of this successfully refined configuration. Of the three markets available to suit the B29, Chevron would construct just five cars for Formula 2, Europe. This car, chassis number 29-75-30, a late season works development car, was constructed for Hans Binder and was initially powered by a BMW engine. Once completed, the works car was test driven by Brian Redman and delivered to Jorg Obermoser, Team Warsteiner Eurorace. Binder would drive the car in Formula 2, powered by a Rosche BMW engine. In 1976 Brain Redman would race at the New Zealand Internationals as part of the Fred Opert team. In late 1976, the car was sold to David Oxton, New Zealand, and raced in the New Zealand Formula Pacific series powered by a Formula Pacific BDA engine through 1979. From 1979-1984 William Kelly and Gary Lang, NZ, would compete in international races. The car would subsequently move to Chris Read ownership in 1984. Read would retain the car until 1991 when it was sold to Kenny Smith, then Brian Sampson (1992-2000), Peter Whelan (2000), Miles Jackson (2008) and then displayed at the World of Speed Museum, Wilsonville, OR until August 2016. Driven by Hans Binder, Brian Redman, David Oxton, Eric Morgan, and Chris Read, the inaugural race, August 31, 1975, at Silverstone would be the first of 44 total recorded races. Build Details and Recent Preparation Among the many mechanical features of the car, the BMW engine runs a factory original BMW cylinder head, FGA transmission, Hewland differential, Cam and Pawl LSD, magnafluxed suspension and steering (2010), Koni shock absorbers, original type 4 aluminum caliper Lockheed 10” and 11” steel disc brakes, and 23-13 x 13 rear, 20-9.5 x 13 front wheels. In 2009, the engine was comprehensively rebuilt by VDS engines totaling over $53,000.00 (invoice included with documentation). Work performed included rebuild and flow test for the Kugelfischer fuel system, Quarter Master 7 1⁄4'' clutch, a new aluminum timing gear cover, Laggerplatte intermediate bearing plate, new pistons and connecting rods, new seals, new water pump driven pulley, new fuel lines, new inlet trumpets, cylinder bore, sodium dichromate magnesium components, cylinder head resurfacing, magnetic particle inspection, and dyno testing. In addition to the extensive engine rebuild, Taylor Race Engineering, Inc., Plano, TX rebuild the FGA transaxle ($11,000 invoice, 2009), a set of front and rear wheels purchased from Chevron Cars ($3,400) were purchased (two spare sets are included), BMW fuel injection pump and 4 injectors ($12,000), and numerous other invoices completing the rebuild to a very high standard. From 2020-2022 J&L Fabricating, Puyallup, WA prepared the car further including the installation of new Willans 6-point racing harness, two new batteries, a new custom fitted seat, chassis dyno including camber alignment and corner weights, new fire bottle (2020), gearing set up for Ridge Seattle, trackside support, new Avon and GoodYear tires (May 2020), polish and nickel plate for new roll bar and down bars, install new roll bar, duplicate left and right fuel cells ($4,600), install Chevron supplied engine cover, wing pylon, and airbox, new vented front brake rotors and four new dog rings (2021), along with the fabrication of numerous parts, specialized details, and preparation for racing. Current Condition Overview Today this Chevron offers exemplary presentation with excellent paint and beautifully finished competition livery. The car has been restored to a very high standard both cosmetically and mechanically with only minor evidence of track use evident on the body. The racing livery is reflective of the 1976 Peter Stuyvesant Series when piloted by Brian Redman where he finished 2nd behind Australian Max Stewart’s Lola T400. The clean white paint scheme offers a fresh perspective on the advanced aerodynamics devised during this experimental period before computer analysis. The lightweight fiberglass bodywork sits low and tight to the chassis with the center post mounted rear wing perched well behind the rear axle. The sophisticated bodywork includes a side intake scoop feeding the fuel injected engine, a dramatic low front air dam, and a softly articulated engine cover to facilitate proper airflow. The cosmetic condition of the paint and lettering is very high quality with great gloss and vivid colors. Inside, the cockpit is clean, simple, and properly composed, including a custom formed racing seat, up to date 6-point restraint system, and a proper fire system (bottle replaced 2020) all of which confidently present the high quality of work performed on this car. The car sits on a set of staggered size Chevron supplied wheels shod with Good Year racing tires. The cockpit has been recently updated with a newly fitted roll bar and down bars. Under the lightweight body sections, the well-prepared frame and suspension have been thoughtfully tested, serviced, and restored with attention to detail including the use of high-quality materials, updated fasteners and hardware, and durable race-proven finishes. The entire engine compartment has been professionally finished with attention to cosmetic presentation and mechanical excellence. Everything from the Kugelfischer fuel delivery system, electrical components, suspension, and brakes have been tested and reassembled with care and accuracy. As indicated on the Hobbs quartz hour meter, the BMW engine has logged 72.6 hours since the engine was rebuilt. Beautifully prepared by passionate experts and dedicated ownership, this BMW powered M12 B29 race car offers notable documented history from new. The exceptional presentation offers the next enthusiast a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a superb vintage race car with confidence. The car is accompanied by invoices dating back to 2009 under current ownership. These invoices contain detailed information on all services, parts, and maintenance performed on the car. Additionally, 4 palates of spares accompany the car: Two fiberglass front air dams Front air dam fiberglass mold Spare windscreen A spare set of valve cover gaskets A red center cowl body section Body center cowl section mold Unfinished center cowl section Spare gears, fuel pump, half shafts etc (two boxes) Spare BMW crank from VDS in box Spare set of front and rear wheels and Goodyear tires Spare set of front and rear wheels and Avon tires Spare front and rear batteries Subframe fixture and various frame sections Misc. engine cowling parts Spare BMW head Numerous engine parts Please note: The personalized fitted seat pictured will be retained by the current owner and does not accompany the sale. 1975 Chevron B29 Formula 2 Fantasy Junction If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. This particular example, Chassis # WPOCB2962RS460255, is a 1994 Carrera 2 finished in black with a matching black top and a black partial leather interior. The car sits on 17-inch light five-spoke Turbo Design wheels and was optioned with the AM/FM radio with CD player, a dark rootwood shift knob and matching parking brake handle, Porsche crest wheel caps, heated seats, and power driver’s seat. Altogether, these options added an extra $4,355 to the MSRP, bringing the total price to $79,270. This 911 was delivered to Autohaus Lancaster via the Port of Charleston before being registered in April 1994 in York, PA. The first owner regularly maintained the car and enjoyed it to the fullest, adding almost 6,400 miles per a service in May 1999 at Autohaus, where it was originally purchased. That dealership would serve as this 911’s main point of service until the owner moved to Keysville, VA, in May 2006, with 9,690 miles on the odometer. In January 2012, after nearly 18 years of ownership, the 911 made its way to its second owner since new, with just over 9,900 miles on the odometer. The miles began accumulating more slowly as the car was driven sparingly, though it continued to pass its yearly safety inspections. In March 2021, it was sold to its third and current owner. Shortly after, in March 2021, the car was fitted with a new set of front and rear speakers, along with a 4-ohm bass blocker. In February 2022, at 12,648 miles, Abacus Racing in Virginia Beach, VA, performed an oil change, a thorough inspection, installed new hood and deck lid struts, new wipers, and new Continental Extreme Contact tires. More recently a PPI was completed in anticipation of its sale and the undercarriage dry-ice blasted, all courtesy of Leading Edge Autosport in West Chester, PA. Autocar Bespoke completed a comprehensive detail whereby the all too common faded/cracked rear lights and “Carrera 2” script were also replaced in preparation for sale. As it sits, this is a very well-maintained example of one of Porsche’s more modern 911s with just under 17,000 miles on the odometer and only 3 careful owners from new. It remains mostly unmodified from its factory configuration, with the exception of the aftermarket speakers. Upon purchase, the new owner will receive all of the owner’s manuals, window sticker, boot cover and bag, toolkit, spare, air pump and available records. 1994 Porsche Carrera 2 LBI Limited If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1949 Maserati A6 1500

Founded in Bologna, Italy, in 1914, by Alfieri Maserati and his brothers Ettore and Ernesto, their humble skills were first offered as specialists for Isotta Fraschini, preparing their cars for road races. However, it was soon evident that Maserati was destined to build the Maserati name crafting their own racecars. The Maserati brothers were not only dedicated enthusiasts, but they were also passionate artisans and engineers – a necessary combination in order to yield fantastic performance cars, especially for premier clientele. This blend of art and engineering, a feature of Italian culture, is embodied in much of their fashion, food, and music, as well as in the fast-growing world of automobile manufacturing. Soon after inception, Maserati was building some of the finest racecars and many of the finest road cars. The often-underfunded company also competed handsomely against giants of industry, building Grand Prix cars, and winning world racing titles, including a rare win at the Indy 500. After the second world war, Maserati was not only able to survive, but they realized their future was dependent on building cars with an emphasis on dual-purpose – cars capable of top-level performance, and also beautifully appointed for street use. As technology improved and wealthy customers demanded both performance and luxury, Maserati enjoyed a robust following in both motorsports and on the showroom floor. The first of these road models was the A6 1500, which made its debut at the 1947 Geneva Salon. Upon review by the press, the beautifully crafted light-alloy Pinin Farina body was lauded by many to be among the most beautiful cars ever designed. In addition to the beauty, the A6 1500 was also innovative in that it was among the first to feature a smooth, integrated hood and fender design, leading back to a dramatic clean fastback rear with minimal chrome trim, hidden door handles, and a wide but delicately trimmed grill. All of these ideas are considered classic today, but in 1947, this design was truly revolutionary. Under the hood, engineering followed the path of excellence, where the remarkable 1,488cc single overhead-camshaft six-cylinder engine utilized aluminum and magnesium castings along with a single Weber carburetor, coupled to a four-speed manual gearbox. The ladder frame chassis featured double wishbone front suspension, similar to Maserati racecars, while the coil-sprung live-axle rear suspension balanced out the rear drive platform, yielding a lovely combination of performance and grace; a union that would herald many future Maseratis for years to come. This beautiful A6 1500 is chassis number 059, the ninth car of just 61 cars in the series produced from 1947-1951 and the only Pinin Farina Berlinetta assembled at the factory on a long wheelbase chassis. Although all the cars constructed in this series would be assembled on a standard chassis, and a long wheelbase chassis had been used in two cabriolet versions of the A6 1500 (chassis number 057 and 075), this is the only Pinin Farina Berlinetta known to have been constructed on a long wheel base chassis. Delivered new in July 1949, the car was configured at the factory with Berlinetta coachwork and finished in dark red Amaterro color. 059 has been researched and documented by renowned Maserati historian Adolfo Orsi. Mr. Orsi confirms the first owner as Mr. Americo Giol, a resident of San Polo di Piave, Italy. Though the duration of his ownership has yet to be confirmed by further registrations, it is known that his brother must have been duly impressed as Vittirio Giol soon became the first owner of chassis no. 078, also a Pinin Farina Berlinetta, constructed later in the series production. Orsi further notes that the car was next imported to the US and then to the UK sometime in the 1970s, eventually returning to Italy in 1993. By the late 90s, the car is known to have been sympathetically restored and subsequently purchased in 2000 by a Japanese collector. In 2003 this A6 1500 was entered and participated in the legendary Mille Miglia event, La Festa Mille Miglia. By 2010, this A6 1500 finds a new owner who then offers it on auction in 2015 at the Quail Lodge during the famed Carmel weekend and concours events. The current owner has continued to maintain the car to high standards, including recent detailed review and mechanical sorting by Epifani restorations. Today this wonderful car truly presents the elegance of design and engineering that have defined Maseratis. It is important to recall that this car was well ahead of Ferrari in every aspect as Maserati was already in production with the A6 1500 while Ferrari was simply a fledgling venture. Here in every respect the level individualized artistry and performance can be seen in the coachwork and mechanical specifications, further affirming Maserati as leaders of Italian craftsmanship, and pioneers of modern design and engineering. The older restoration while still very handsome has mellowed nicely in the ensuing years, and is both a testimony to the quality and the degree of preservation first offered as an original matching numbers car prior to restoration, but also to upholding the finest in restoration artisanship even in recent years. The exterior of this A6 has been finished to a high level still showing excellent paint and panel fit. The paint has settled in a bit over the years but still retains a high gloss throughout, with minor surface scratches and light marks from road use. Doors open and shut smoothly, as does the hood and trunk. Brightwork throughout the exterior has been polished and finely detailed to complement the deep red paint. Handsome design elements lightly decorate the exterior including beautifully sculpted recessed door handles, elegantly shaped grille and vent details, and exquisite headlight trim that brightens the fascia while elongating the gently sweeping fender lines. The clean lines of the dark red body are contrasted by the purposeful body colored solid wheels, accented with brightwork trim and center caps embossed with the Maserati name. Both front fenders beautifully stretch forward of the cowl in the one-of-a-kind long wheelbase configuration, proudly flanked by the Pinin Farina coachbuilder’s badge. Even the delicately garnished glass elegantly contributes to the perfect proportions of this dynamic car. The bold and elegant exterior is further enhanced by the art-deco influenced interior. Opening the door via the lever actuated flush door handle, the large door swings away offering easy ingress into the comfortable seats. Once inside, the expansive glass and light pillar work offer exceptional views around the entire perimeter of the car. The door panels and seats are covered in contrasting tan corded fabric accented by red piping and deep red carpeting. Matching body colored interior trim with elegant deco-inspired chrome handles and dash details further convey the quality of the design. The dashboard is a wonderful display of instrumentation and indicators, highlighted by the steering wheel, itself a work of art. Instruments and some trim are showing signs of patina, but otherwise, the overall visual condition of the dash and instruments is cohesive and refined. Other charming interior features further include a jewel-like ash tray lid, glovebox door clock, and Maserati trident embossed clutch and brake pedals. All components are beautifully designed and faithfully restored, with some of the fabric areas of the rear seat still covered by protective clear plastic. Under the hood, the car presents well, with excellent workmanship and authenticity to the period, all performed to accurate standards on the matching numbers engine. The hoses, fittings, and various components are faithfully restored, but exhibit some signs of age since restoration. The engine compartment generally shows an even patina throughout, still proudly conveying the history and integrity of the original specifications with details like fabric wrapped lacquered wires, a warmly hued carburetor, and gently toned aluminum castings. The underside of the car has been properly restored, and displays evidence of use in keeping with the general condition of a quality older restoration has mellowed over time. The car starts easily and idles smoothly once warmed up. The clutch is easily engaged, and the gearbox is representative of a car of this era. Seating position is good with plenty of room even for taller occupants. There is easy visibility over the long hood and the steering quitee good even at slower speeds. The four-speed gearbox is well suited to the car, while the ride is reasonably good in large part due to the rear coil spring suspension. The long wheelbase adds an extra touch of comfort especially at higher speeds. Given the era of construction, especially when compared with other vehicles of the period, the ride comfort and performance feel far ahead of the competition. The overall driving impression is elegant, spirited, and comfortable, with engaging mechanical sounds and delightful interior features accompanying you through even the most mundane drives. We would however recommend a major mechanical service prior to long distance rally use. This beautifully appointed Maserati A6 1500 is accompanied by a Maserati service manual, and copies of numerous factory documents, early photos and previous registrations as assembled by Maserati expert and premier historian Adolfo Orsi. Early Maseratis rarely come to market, especially those with documented provenance and made in small quantities. In the case of this car, elegance and performance are unified in captivating harmony in a car that would be welcomed for entry in the Mille Miglia Storica, California Mille, and numerous other events as well as top level concours d’Elegances all over the world. This historically significant Maserati is ready for the next fortunate enthusiast to enjoy as a fine example of Italian motoring excellence, exactly as intended when first constructed by Maserati and expertly crafted by Pinin Farina. 1949 Maserati A6 1500 Fantasy Junction If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer.
