  • 1990 AC Cobra Mk IV

Brian Angliss - the founder of AutoKraft - had a small restoration business in the 1970s and was specialized in the legendary Shelby Cobra. In 1982, he obtained the name rights and the right to build Cobra-shaped cars from AC Cars Ltd. Ford became aware of the beautiful roadsters and so in 1987 a collaboration with AutoKraft took place and the company was authorized to use the Cobra name and logo from then on. It is therefore only understandable that the Cobra Mk IV produced in Surrey, England, is regarded in the scene as the legitimate successor or continuation of the original Shelby Cobras from the 1960s. Like these, the Mk IV has a tubular frame chassis, a wide alloy body and a Ford drivetrain - about 480 vehicles were produced between 1986 and 1996. Our car - AK1238 - was built in January 1989 and delivered to the Swiss importer Exclusive Cars in Versoix. As Cobras were difficult to sell at the time, the car remained with the importer and was exhibited on their stand at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1990. In June of that year, the Mk IV was registered for the first time and used as a demonstration car. In August 1995, with 1’150 kilometres on the clock, the beautiful roadster was finally taken over by its first and so far, only private owner. Due to his emigration in August 2000, he deregistered the Cobra and parked it in his dry garage for almost 24 years. As he didn't want to part with his beloved roadster and to avoid damage as far as possible, he treated himself to a drive with the dealer plates of a garage friend at least once a year every time he visited his old home. In May 2024, the AC was taken out of its home and carefully put back into operation. With around 4’900 driven kilometers, the Cobra is in remarkably original condition. The Ford 5-litre V8 with fuel injection and catalytic converter delivers 228 hp and runs perfectly, and the 5-speed gearbox shifts absolutely correctly and crisply. The last veteran MOT has been performed in June 2024. 1990 AC Cobra Mk IV Oldtimer Galerie International GmbH If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1975-ford-escort-mk1-mexico-1

It seems likely that Ford already had plans to produce a high performance Escort to fit in the range between the 1300GT and the Twin-Cam/RS1600, but their victory in the World Cup Rally, finishing in Mexico, provided an ideal platform to launch such a model. The engineers at the newly formed AVO (Advanced Vehicles Operations) quickly developed the 'Mexico', marrying the Type 49 bodyshell, as used in the Twin-Cam and RS1600, with the 1,600cc Kent 'crossflow' engine and 2000E gearbox. So effectively, the Mexico was basically a re-engined Twin Cam/RS1600. The Mexico became AVO's most successful and numerous of the 'Rally Sport Escorts' and had a number of advantages on the road in that it had excellent performance, was easy to maintain, relatively easy to insure and above all, it was great to drive, something which is still true today. Mk1 Escort Mexico production ended in January 1975 when Ford closed its AVO plant at Aveley. The car presented here is a UK-supplied 1975 Ford Escort Mk1 Mexico, making it a very late-production example. With an interesting backstory, this Mexico is now in superb, fully restored condition. The car spent its first ten years being enjoyed as intended but by 1984/1985, it needed a new front wing as an aftermarket aerial had been installed. With the wing sourced but not yet fitted, the owner became busy with other projects and the car got 'put away for a bit', which ended up being for 20 years or so! During this time, it was meticulously stripped, with all the original parts being logged and boxed, as the intention was always to get it back on the road 'one day'. Time passed and eventually the decision was made to sell the car – but, always to the right person. The right person was found and the car went on to become what you now see here. It was fully restored over 14 months, with the bodywork expert (described as properly 'old-school' and who had been offered the job as the restorer on the show Pimp My Ride but declined the opportunity) saying that its Type 49 bodyshell was preserved in 'exceptional condition', reckoning that it was 'the cleanest Escort shell that he’d ever worked on'. The boxed and logged original parts were carefully reinstated, including the original interior, with brand new OEM bits substituting some age-perished items like the headlights, indicator units and window rubbers. The engine, gearbox and drivetrain were all reconditioned and brought up to standard to match the newly painted bodyshell. At this time, some non-standard items were also added, including AVO dampers, twin Weber carburettors on a high lift manifold (utilised to clear the servo), a stainless steel exhaust, poly bushes and period 'bullet' mirrors. The completed car was subsequently sold to our vendor’s late brother, who treasured it for the last 17 years, ensuring its continued mechanical health by having his rally car-building friend (Keith), a life-long mechanic and who, again, vouches strongly for the veracity of the whole car, service/maintain it and in recent years fit an LSD, a new steering rack and twin 40 Weber carburettors, plus rebuilding the gearbox. The car has always been garaged and mainly just used at shows and weekend drive-outs, covering only c.5,000 miles since its restoration and is now ready for its next custodian. This striking Mexico is maybe not factory-original, but easily could be made so, with the reassuring knowledge that the all-important AVO shell is in superbly 1975 Ford Escort Mk1 Mexico Iconic Auctioneers Ltd If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1976 Porsche 930 Turbo 2

In 1974 a new era began at Porsche. At the same time as BMW and its 2002 Turbo, the first production 911 with a turbocharged engine appeared. Its name: 911 "Turbo", or "930" for those who know it well. But unlike the BMW, which remained without descendants, the Porsche 911 Turbo was to be the initiator of a great lineage. 50 years later, let's take a look at this true automotive legend. The brand has always offered its customers a special series of race-ready models, and the 911 has repeatedly confirmed this rule. The 911 Turbo was first presented as a prototype at the Paris Motor Show in September 1973 as a vehicle that could be produced in small series for FIA Group 5 homologation. In the meantime, a Porsche 911 Carrera RSR Turbo with almost 500 horsepower (for 2.1 litres of engine capacity!) was entered at Le Mans and produced encouraging results, finishing 2nd in 1974. This performance encouraged Porsche to continue its research into the use of turbocharging and it was a real event when the 911 Turbo road car was presented in Paris in its almost final form a few months later. Instantly, it was love at first sight for many enthusiasts and the beginning of a long and beautiful love story. The factory designation "930" corresponding to the engine's nomenclature quickly became the baptismal name of the turbocharged 911 among Porsche enthusiasts, even though its official commercial name has always been "Turbo" and "Carrera Turbo" in the USA. Originally, it was only planned to produce the 500 cars required for FIA Group 5 homologation, given the economic context of the oil crisis, which was not very favorable to fuel-guzzlers. However, production of the famous 911 Turbo began in February 1975, just as France had imposed motorway speed limits. But despite this, the 911 Turbo aroused such interest and was such an exceptional event that orders quickly flowed in beyond the expected sales figures. In view of the enthusiasm, production was increased the following year. Externally, the 930 retained the general appearance of the 911s, but was distinguished primarily by its large, prominent rear spoiler, which, in combination with the front spoiler, provided superior downforce at higher speeds. At first glance, the Porsche 930 impresses, but then it seduces, especially with its swollen rear wings. The tracks of the Turbo are widened by 60 mm in front and 120 mm in back. The whole thing has an effect and many will fall in love with these wide and sexy hips which will later become a very popular option making up the famous "Turbo-Look". As was the case with the 1974 911 Carrera RS 3.0, the Porsche 911 Turbo is equipped with black Fuchs wheels with polished rims, 7 inches at the front and 8 inches at the rear as standard. The tires are generously sized for the time. For the '76 model year, several other modifications were made to the increasingly successful 930. Matte black stickers on the front of the rear wings now protect them from stone chips. Less visible, but very important, is the zinc electrolysis of the bodywork which allows Porsche to guarantee the 930 against corrosion for 6 years. Inside, apart from the specific 3-spoke steering wheel, the interior of the 911 Turbo is strictly identical to that of a Carrera. It is surprising that there is no turbo pressure gauge until the '77 model year. But surprisingly, Porsche wanted to position its new sports car in a different niche than a pure sports car, stripped down to the bare essentials like the Carrera RS 2.7L. The standard equipment is even more complete than at the time of the presentation and very luxurious for the time: electric windows, air conditioning, leather seats, tinted windows, not to mention headlight washers - a world first! -, rear windscreen wiper, front fog lamps, etc... Note also that among the options available on the 930 were front seat heaters, a locking differential, a short shifter kit, electrically adjustable sports seats and a tinted windscreen. Yet the 930 is a true sports car. And to be convinced of this, you have to taste what's under its imposing engine bonnet! Intended as a racing car, the leading model of the 911 series was entirely focused on power and would set new standards. To understand the choice of engine for the Porsche 930, one must remember that the sports regulations of the time imposed a factor of 1.4 on the displacement of turbocharged engines to compensate for their mechanical advantage over naturally aspirated engines. Therefore, a displacement of 3L corresponded to 4.2L, the maximum allowed at the time, with a weight limit of 1210 Kg. Designed for competition, the Flat 6 of the 930, type 930/50, is therefore derived from the Carrera RS 3 litres. The displacement is 2994 cm3 (bore 95 mm, stroke 70.4 mm) and the engine is fed by a Bosch K-Jetronic mechanical injection and a KKK type 3LDZ turbocharger, blowing at 0.8 bar. The compression ratio is lowered to 6.5:1. Porsche also uses advanced technologies designed to achieve high power output without affecting engine reliability. The cylinder walls are covered with Nikasil, the pistons are made of forged alloy and the crankcase is made of aluminum. The 6-cylinder flat engine from Porsche develops 260 hp at 5500 rpm and 343 Nm of torque at 4000 rpm. Available in the USA, the 930 will however only deliver 245 hp (engine type 930/51), i.e. 15 hp less than the European version for pollution control reasons. But the torque is such that it is quite sufficient! With its first-class performance, the Porsche 930 is on a par with the best sports cars of the time, such as the Ferrari 512 BB. It takes only 5.5 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h, while its top speed exceeds 250 km/h. Despite its racing characteristics, the Turbo 911 is surprisingly well suited for everyday use. In this area, Porsche also manages to reconcile two obvious contradictions. In the city, the Turbo drives like an ordinary 911, the flexibility of the 3.0L engine being very appreciable here. Once on the road, you have to anticipate the dual personality of a car whose old-style turbo management was, moreover, deliberately "brutal" at the time. Clearly, nothing was done to smooth out the engine's character! And indeed, once past 3500 rpm, the turbine is triggered in "all or nothing" mode. The 6-cylinder Porsche 930 then propels you into another dimension, with a memorable kick in the ass! Your back sinks into the leather seat and you become fully aware of the 930 Turbo's lightning acceleration! Just imagine what a shock this was for the automotive world at the time, which was simultaneously discovering turbocharging and the arrival on the market of a sports car capable of offering sensations previously unknown outside the world of competition. Given the engine's torque, the 4-speed gearbox seemed to be sufficient. The 1st gear pushes you up to 80 km/h on the approach to the red zone (located at 6900 rpm), the 2nd to 135 and the 3rd already makes you a jailbird, at 200 km/h. You will then go and explain to Mr. the "gendarme" that you had not yet shifted in 4th gear... he might appreciate it. Just imagine that the 4th takes you to 250 km/h... In a word, the Porsche 930 is... sporty! And how good it is! This invigorating return to the source reminds us how much current productions are sometimes far too sanitized. For many drivers, the 911 Turbo was the ultimate sports car. With all its exceptional features, it is now a true phenomenon and a historical monument of the automobile. A mythical vehicle whose reputation as a wild beast has greatly contributed to the aura it still enjoys in the hearts of all enthusiasts. This example was ordered on 27 February 1976, specified in Schwarz over Braunbeige leather with an electric sunroof, and intended for California, according to the accompanying factory build sheet. Chassis number 00413 was reportedly retained by its first owner for 23 years before being sold locally in 1999. It was then reportedly sold to a third Californian owner in 2002, before being exported to Norway in 2007 and finding a home with another Norwegian four years later. In 2015, it passed into the hands of the previous owner and was imported to Denmark, where later that year it underwent a body repaint in black. A certificate of authenticity from Porsche confirms that this car has retained its chassis and engine. Beautifully presented in its original configuration, this first generation Turbo Carrera is a fine example of an iconic model that marked both the development of the 911 and the evolution of the supercar. 1976 Porsche 930 Turbo Historic Cars If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. The notice and take down procedure is described here: https://www.speedholics.com/copyright In 1974 a new era began at Porsche. • 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa

Very Well Upgraded Targa In Guards Red Over Black With Sport Seats, SSI Heat Exchangers, Dansk Muffler, Steve Wong Chip and Full Elephant Racing Suspension. Seller Asking: $75,000 Produced between 1974 and 1989, the G-Body 911 is one of the most recognizable variants of the famed Porsche sports car and, without a doubt, one of the best to drive. Built between 1974 and 1989, the G-Body 911s came in numerous variants, with the most refined version, the Carrera, built between 1984 and 1989. Powered by a 3.2-liter Flat-6, the Carrera is regarded for its unfiltered driving experience, exceptional durability, and practicality. One of the many things that separate the Porsche 911 from many of its more exotic rivals from the same time period is the massive aftermarket for performance parts that are available to tailor your 911 to exactly how you like it from behind the wheel. This 1984 Porsche 911 Targa is finished in Guards Red over Black and has been well maintained and carefully modified to ensure maximum driving enjoyment every time you get behind the wheel. The car presents well but is in what would be considered “driver” condition- a repaint from the early 2000s is still very shiny but does show some bubbling and minor areas of lifting, along with some visible tape lines. That being said, the Targa top has recently been rebuilt, European front and rear lights have been installed, and the car sits on a set of 7” front and 8” rear Fuchs, giving an overall very put-together appearance. If you are looking for a 911 Targa to get out and drive and aren’t concerned about your local PCA Concours, this car is for you. On the inside, the seats, dash, and door cards are covered in black leather, and a set of non-original but period-correct Porsche sport seats have been installed. The original Blaupunkt stereo with a cassette player is still in place, and although air conditioning is installed, it is currently not operable. The leather on the dashboard is shrinking some, and the seams along the front edge are separating. A few of the performance upgrades noticeable on the interior are a set of Targa reinforcement bars that help add rigidity to the chassis and an aftermarket short shifter that offers improved shift action to the 915 gearbox. What makes this car a real standout is what is going on underneath the car. The 3.2-liter flat-6 benefits from a top-end rebuild, and the 915 gearbox has been rebuilt with a fresh clutch installed all around 2008. SSI heat exchangers and a Dansk muffler were installed to make the engine breathe better, and a Steve Wong chip for Carreras with these modifications is installed to maximize performance potential. The suspension was recently rebuilt using street-oriented bushings from Elephant Racing, and 930 tie rods and a strut tower brace have also been installed. When you get behind the wheel of this 911 Targa, everything feels right- the extensive file of receipts dating back to 1986 tells the story of the three owners who loved this car and were happy to spend whatever it took to make it drive as well as it could. All of the care lavished on this car throughout its life makes for a truly exceptional driving experience that would be expensive and time-consuming to replicate. If you want to experience what makes the Porsche 911 so desirable amongst driving enthusiasts worldwide, all it will take is a few minutes behind the wheel of this example to get it. 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa ISSIMI, Inc If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. Rust free after spending its life in South Africa with one family across three generations. After being imported to the UK last year it has had a complete bare metal repaint in its original colour of maroon, there are many photos available to show the bodywork at various stages. The car has gone through an MOT with no problems at all and will be supplied UK registered. It is a real pleasure to drive especially with its lovely raspy sounding engine and crunch free gearbox. • 1985 Peugeot 205 T16

There are many records in the elite realm of Group B, however it is the Peugeot 205 T16 which enjoys the most rarified air - it is the only Group B rally car to win back-to-back World Rally Championships. Homologation efforts for Peugeot’s Group B rally car began with the humble 205, building 200 of the road-going 205 T16’s, with an overwhelming majority painted in gray. Retaining the Group B monster’s 200HP mid-engine four-wheel-drive layout, a lightweight tubular spaceframe, glass-fiber bodywork, and race-bred center differential, the road-going homologation special was renowned for spritely handling characteristics. Chassis 177 stands alone amongst the crowd of gray 205 T16’s, as it was the only car delivered in black from new at the behest of its original owner. The car was delivered in January of 1986 to its’ first owner, Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al-Thani, the former Prime Minister of Qatar. Ever fond of his highly unique 205 T16, Al-Thani would retain ownership of the car until 2007, diligently maintaining it as evidenced by the quantities of service stamps issued in period by Peugeot Warwick Wright of Chiswick, London. The second custodian of Chassis 177 would retain ownership until December of 2012 and seldom use the car, only adding 28km to the odometer before exchanging hands once again. Recognizing the highly significant nature of chassis 177, the final UK owner went on to exhibit the car at a number of high-profile events, such as Salon Prive, before 177 would move to the United States in early 2022 when acquired by a highly esteemed American collector. Having resided in the UK for a vast majority of its life, and been pampered at no expenses spared, chassis 177 is a fantastic example of Peugeot’s Group B homologation efforts. 177 has covered a mere 8,600km from new while carrying a pedigree worthy of royalty, backed up by a substantially thorough history dossier. Presenting beautifully today in original condition, and driving the part, 177 is poised to be a crucial cornerstone of any discerning collection. 1985 Peugeot 205 T16 The Cultivated Collector LLC If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1998 Ferrari 550 Maranello 1

This 1998 Ferrari 550 Maranello is finished in Argento Nurburgring and shows 66,850 km on the odometer. The 550 Maranello’s design is intended to be evocative of Ferrari’s greatest hits from the 1960s and 1970s while still providing outstanding aerodynamic efficiency and stability. With numerous cues from the 275 GTB and 365 GTB/4, the Maranello was a classic when it was first shown and has aged beautifully in the 27 years since. Although the basic architecture for the 550 Maranello was shared with the 4-Seat 456 GT, 100mm were cut from the wheelbase, and power increased significantly. The interior of the 550 Maranello is beautiful in its simplicity, and one of the last truly timeless interior designs from Ferrari before screens became an integral part of the experience. This example is fitted with a deep red-brown leather known as Pelle, accented with lighter brown carpeting throughout the cabin. A pair of nicely bolstered bucket seats are extremely comfortable for long-distance driving but will also hold you in place when the road gets twisty. In front of the driver, a 3-spoke steering wheel frames a simple gauge pod with a tachometer, speedometer, oil pressure, and water temperature- while three other gauges sit in a pod atop the dashboard to your right. Behind you is a sizable parcel shelf that is perfect for carrying overnight bags for a weekend away. Powering the 550 Maranello is a 5.5 liter V12 with dual overhead cams and 4-valves per cylinder rated at 478 horsepower and 419 lb-ft of torque. This engine is known to be one of the more dependable engines to come out of Ferrari and does not require engine out servicing like the mid-engine cars of the same time period. In all 550s, the only available gearbox is a 6-speed manual transaxle that sends power to the rear wheels. Starting with the 575M in 2002, the F1 gearbox became the almost universal choice for front-engine V12 Ferraris, making the 550 truly the end of the classic era of Ferrari. When a car combines timeless beauty and outstanding performance, you know that the car that results is bound to become a classic. Now that the 550 Maranello is more than 25 years old, it has achieved classic status but thanks to its modern technology, it can be used every day without worry. 1998 Ferrari 550 Maranello ISSIMI, Inc If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. The notice and take down procedure is described here: https://www.speedholics.com/copyright This 1998 Ferrari 550 Maranello is finished in Argento Nurburgring and shows 66,850 km on the odometer. • 1967 Porsche 911

The body, engine with approx. 235 hp and technology of the Porsche 911 2.0 offered here have been completely rebuilt over the last 3 years by a well-known Porsche motorsport specialist in Holland, regardless of the cost. The initially pure racing car project, which cost over EUR 300,000, was finally completed as an outlaw of the road with a sensational power-to-weight ratio. The throaty sound of the engine, which has only just been run in with just under 1,800 km, is a real pleasure even when stationary and the handling with short gearshift travel is simply phenomenal. This beautiful Porsche 911 is freshly veteran-approved and leaves nothing to be desired in terms of sporty driving. The Porsche 911, also known as the nine-eleven for short, is Porsche’s best-known sports car and is regarded as the epitome of the brand. The 911 is a typical sports car. It is powered by a 6-cylinder boxer engine in the rear. With the rear-engine design, the 911 continues a classic design principle that can already be found in earlier Porsche developments. Body variants of the Porsche 911 are the Coupé, the Cabriolet and the Targa. In the past, the Porsche 911 was successfully used as a racing car in the Sports Car World Championship and the German Racing Championship. Today, racing cars based on the 911 are mainly used in one-make cups such as the Carrera Cup. The first 911 version built in series from September 1964 was the so-called original model presented at the IAA 1963 with a 130 hp 2-liter six-cylinder boxer engine. Even when stationary, this 911 is a homage to the original, the clarity of the mechanics and the art of omission. 1967 Porsche 911 Lutziger Classic Cars AG If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. “We added 3 priceless options to our all new Ferrari 308 GTS…. the Sun, the Moon and the Stars!” -Ferrari It is October 17, 1979 and Richard Scott enters the Ferrari dealership in San Diego, USA. The day has finally arrived. Nine months ago he sat down on his bare knees at the desk in this dealer and, with a scribble under an order form, he started the production of his Ferrari 308 GTS. He determinedly opted for a rare Argento Auteuil exterior with Nero interior and of course an open roof to catch the best Californian sun rays. When he sees his vehicle on this day, every fiber in his body is activated and the hairs on the back of his neck stand up. The time has finally come. Fast forward many years and this described feeling has not disappeared for anyone when seeing this iconic Ferrari example from the 80s. This specimen was brought to the other side of the ocean by a Norwegian collector in 2010. Upon arrival, the car was restored "nut & bolt" with invoices totaling more than 170,000 euros, with an eye for every detail and exceptionally documented, including original stamped booklets, as you have come to expect from us!
