General History Unveiled at the 1961 Geneva Motor Show, the Jaguar E-type delivered a totally new approach to sports cars. Stunning design, unrivaled performance, and racing lineage made the E-Type an immediate sensation. With its beautiful lines and surprisingly affordable price, the E-Type garnered its iconic status where it continues to reign at the top of collector and enthusiast lists. Independent front and rear suspension, disc brakes all around (inboard at the rear to reduce unsprung weight), and Jaguar’s legendary twin-cam inline six-cylinder engine were just part of the allure. Sales were brisk with growing interest in both American and European markets. Although the E-Type would continue into the mid 1970s, enthusiasts today remain steadfast regarding their admiration for the Series 1 models as one of the most beautiful and capable sports cars ever conceived. Current Condition and Ownership According to original sales documentation accompanying this Jaguar, this remarkable original example was purchased in 1967 and delivered to Fretwell Motor Company, Oklahoma City, OK. Invoiced to the first owner, Elvy R. Hopkins on June 27, 1967, the car was sold with an AM/FM radio, white wall tires, chrome wheels, tinted glass, bumper guards, and seat belts. Though originally invoiced with air conditioning, the car was later confirmed June 28, 1967, on the Delivery Ticket to be delivered without AC. Bill of Sale was signed July 7, 1967. Having taken delivery in Oklahoma, Hopkins drove the car to his China Lake, California home titling and registering the car in September 1967 with license plate UGL 994 (original registration slips included with the car). By 1969 the car experienced engine failure. The owner parked the car in his garage where it remained until 2009. After the original owner passed, his sister was gifted the car. In 20011, she had the engine professionally rebuilt being careful to preserve and retain all the original engine components replaced during the engine rebuild. Each of these parts, including the original tires, are retained and offered with this remarkable example of originality and preservation. After the engine was rebuilt, the sister of the original owner sold this Jaguar to the current owner, an avid NorCal enthusiast and concours participant who showed the car at the Hillsborough Concours where he won in the originality class. In an effort to retain the original low mile condition, the current owner has driven the car approximately 2o0 miles during his fourteen years of ownership. Current Presentation Today this Jaguar presents in exceptional original condition. The finish shows only mild areas of age, one small scratch (about ½’ in length), but still remains smooth and glossy throughout. The finish has been metered with a digital paint meter revealing single digit paint thickness readings consistent with original paint. The lighting, lenses, and glass are clean and preserved throughout. The body integrity is excellent, with factory panel gaps on the rear hatch, and bonnet, and door fit that is especially good considering nearly 60 years of age. The chrome window and side glass surrounds are in excellent original condition overall, as are the front and rear. The original wire wheels feature chrome plated knock offs with excellent finish now wearing a set of Uniroyal narrow band white wall tires date coded 2023. The tan interior (representing the earlier tan hue for this series) is original throughout and again, consistent with the rest of the car, superbly detailed, clean, and properly preserved. The original carpet is excellent including the beaded edging and correct contours for the floor and center console. The dash pad is very fine owing to indoor storage avoiding unwanted sun damage. The instruments are beautifully preserved with excellent faces and contrasting color as are the AM/FM stereo, wood rimmed steering wheel and manual transmission shifter. The original door panels, matching covered door sills, headliner, and rear storage area are quite nice in both condition and material quality, again preserved and protected from outdoor elements. The engine compartment is correct in appearance and properly detailed. Having been rebuilt recently, the commissioning owner was careful to not overdo the engine compartment and thus retained the finishes and patina of the factory assembly. Both the engine numbers are evident and matching as is the “picture frame” support section bearing the correct chassis number, both of which correspond correctly to the data plate affixed to the car and the matching sales documentation supporting the original purchase. The undercarriage is clean, tidy, and very much in keeping with the 17,000 original miles being mercifully unrestored only cleaned to preserve the original finishes. The body seams, weld lines, and joinery are further indicative of original construction while all suspension, brakes, lines, and exhaust are original with only a few exceptions allowing for soft rubber parts to be replaced only as needed, here too retained as spares accompanying this car. Included with the car The car is accompanied by an original owner’s pouch, operating manual, warranty book, maintenance voucher book, a complete set of tools and tool roll, a pair of Carello fog lamps, the original four Dunlop tires, and an assortment of spare original engine and brake components removed during the engine rebuild and cosmetic freshening. 1967 Jaguar XKE 4.2 Fantasy Junction If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1965 Ferrari 275 GTB 2

By the mid-1960s it seemed Ferrari could do no wrong, winning on all fronts from sports car racing to Grands Prix and producing the most beautiful cars in the world. Ferrari's dual-purpose cars seemed unstoppable combining race-winning performance with film star good looks. As the legendary 250 GT LWB "Tour de France" gave way to the marvelous 250 GT SWB Berlinetta - and led ultimately to the awe-inspiring 250 GTO in 1962. Introduced at the 1964 Paris Auto Show, the new 275 GTB gave Ferrari a chance to incorporate all the best characteristics of this fabled bloodline. Many consider the resulting car to be the finest production Ferrari ever built, combining the thoroughbred mechanical pedigree of its road racing forebears with sufficient creature comforts to make the 275 GTB a superlative grand touring automobile. Under the skin, the 275 GTB incorporated the best Ferrari chassis design, starting with the oval section tube backbone chassis. Independent suspension was fitted all around for the first time on a road-going Ferrari, and a 5-speed gearbox was also included in the specification. The transmission was mounted at the rear of the car for improved weight distribution in a transaxle. Now enlarged to 3.3 litres, the 60-degree V12 engine remained the familiar Colombo type producing 280bhp at 7,600rpm. A higher, claimed 300bhp, state of tune was available by employing six Weber carburettors instead of the standard three. In addition, customers purchasing a 275 GTB for road use could also specify aluminium coachwork. This coachwork was all new too, a stunning Pininfarina design that evoked the graceful lines of the legendary 250 GTO. A long bonnet combined with a Kamm-tail rear body created a striking profile, while vents in the front wings gave the car a muscular edge. Vents in the sail panels added to the effect and paid tribute to the 250 GT 'Tour de France' Berlinettas. A smoothly integrated rear spoiler helped give the car a strong visual identity. Although the 275 GTB was a car of many firsts, it was also the last car that could be considered a true coach built road/race Berlinetta in the great Ferrari tradition. Although most lived their lives on the streets, many led a dual life, winning on road courses and hill climbs on the weekend, while providing stylish and exciting transportation during the week. Delivered new to Luigi Chinetti Motors in New York City, this particular 275 GTB was built to short nose specifications with three carburettors, steel bodywork, and was fitted with power windows. Finished in Rosso Cina over Nero (VM 8500), it was sold new by Chinetti to a Mr Carl Iverson. By 1974, the 275 GTB had moved across the country and is noted as being owned by Carl E. Drake Jr. of San Francisco by that point. In 1982, the 275 came into the ownership of Robert Dorris of Fort Worth, Texas. No stranger to Ferrari’s, Dorris’ father had previously owned a 212/225 Inter Coupe with Vignale coachwork (chassis no. 0179 EL). The next year, the 275 GTB was advertised for sale in the Ferrari Market Letter by Robert Dorris. It was described as being finished in red with black leather, and a “nice original car with only two previous owners”. In June of 1986, the 275 GTB found a new owner with John R. Anderson of Lewisville, Texas. It remained in Texas for the next seven years, returning to Europe in 1993 when purchased by Wolter Gratama. Gratama showed at the 11th Modena Motorsport Track Days at the Nürburgring in June 2005, winning his class in the Concours. The car returned to the same event in 2007. In 2015, the 275 GTB was granted Ferrari Classiche certification, confirming that it retains its original chassis, engine, bodywork and has been fitted with a replacement gearbox of the correct type and Borrani RW 4039 wheels. Remaining in the Netherlands until 2016, that same year the car was acquired by the previous owner and imported to the U.K., where it remains today. Upon its arrival in the U.K., it was entrusted to Bob Houghton for a total and comprehensive rebuild at a total cost of over £78,000. Seldom driven over the succeeding five years, it returned to Houghton for further service work in 2021 which included fitting a new master cylinder, new exhausts, and an oil and filters change. It has been driven less than 500 miles since. In addition to the aforementioned Classiche binder, the car is accompanied by a history file, owner's manuals, and tool kit. DK sold this example to its current custodian in 2022 and since then the car has been used sparingly. Presenting as optioned when new, this 275 GTB is fabulous form, having never been fully restored and still retaining its original interior. Full of character, it could easily be driven and enjoyed with ease as one of Ferrari’s most attractive and exciting V-12 grand tourers. It is available for inspection immediately at our facilities just outside London and will receive a full service as part of the sale. 1965 Ferrari 275 GTB D.K. • 1976 Ferrari 512 BB

At its debut at the Paris Show in 1976, the 512 BB was equipped with a 5-litre version of the 12-cylinder boxer. The new engine proved a great success, giving the same power at lower revs, better torque and a smoother delivery than the earlier version in the 365 GT4 BB. The Pininfarina coachwork differed only slightly from the previous model in certain details which not only made it look even more elegant but also helped improve engine cooling. Between 1976 and 1980 there were 929 exemplars built. The Ferrari 512 BB presented here was first delivered in Italy in 1977. A few years ago, the car was extensively revised in Italy by renowned Ferrari specialists on a first-class basis and repainted in its original delivery colour “Argento Auteuil Metallizz”. After having finished the restoration, the vehicle received a Ferrari Classiche certificate. An extensive photo and invoice documentation of all work completed is available. The engine and gearbox have recently been completely overhauled at Ferrari Rothe in Hamburg. This Ferrari 512 BB with a low mileage of only 40,452 km is in a first-class condition. The notice and take down procedure is described here: https://www.speedholics.com/copyright At its debut at the Paris Show in 1976, the 512 BB was equipped with a 5-litre version of the 12-cylinder boxer. • 1966 Porsche 912

This 1966 Porsche 912 was sold new on August 15th, 1966, at A.J. Pierson Sales and Service in Orlando, Florida, with an out-the-door price of $5,739.44. Originally finished in Gulf Blue, this 912 was refinished in Polo Red yet otherwise remains very original throughout. One thing that can’t be replicated and sets this car apart from most classics of this generation is a binder with a paper trail dating back to the receipt from the selling dealer in 1966 up to the current day. This example was acquired by the current owner in 2020 and has undergone significant mechanical freshening, with receipts for over $28,000 spent in 2023 to get it dialed in. Under current ownership, this 912 was featured on the lawn at the prestigious The Quail, A Motorsport Gathering in 2022. The exterior of the vehicle looks fantastic, with the Polo Red paint paired with steel wheels and chrome hubcaps, and a white and black Porsche script decal along the sills. Up front, a set of fog lights and a covered set of Cibie spotlights have been installed. The interior combines black vinyl with unique white vinyl door cards and has received some fantastic upgrades in recent years. When the current owner purchased the car, a modern Pioneer head unit was fitted in the dashboard's center, which just looked wrong. To address this, the head unit was removed, and in its place, a pair of Cletimer and Sportex (a Heuer subsidiary) stopwatches were fitted on a brushed aluminum plate that matches the dash nicely. A 3-spoke wood-rimmed steering wheel frames the 356-inspired 3 gauge dashboard, made up of a speedometer, tach, and split fuel/oil temperature gauge. Coco Mats in black/white are fitted on the floors, and 4-point seat belts have been installed for the two front seats. Powering this 912 is a 1,600cc air cooled flat-4 which produces an estimated 90 horsepower, that is sent to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual gearbox. The engine was completely rebuilt in 2001 and the gearbox has received a recent overhaul to ensure it functions properly. As it stands, the car runs and drives extremely well and the inspection report shows only minor seepage on the engine which is remarkable for a car of this age. 1966 Porsche 912 ISSIMI, Inc If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1965-bizzarrini-5300-gt-2

This is a genuine, early Bizzarrini which was inspected by Jack Koobs de Hartog, who is very much a recognised expert on Bizzarrinis and has written several books on the cars. The car was built at the end of 1965 when Piero Rivolta and Bizzarrini fell out and therefore, although much of the car would have been built alongside other ISO A3/C s, it was originally badged as a Bizzarrini. This example is 1 of just 12 of a total of 73 5300 GTs built with a lightweight aluminium body and De-Dion rear suspension. These cars were one of the first to pair the Italian prowess and sophistication with the brute of an American-sourced powerplant. With known ownership from new, this Bizzarrini was supplied new the USA where it remained until 2002. Supplied new by Bizzarrini to the USA 2nd Owner - Carey Loftin - LA 3rd Owner - Bill DeCarr - LA 4th Owner - Rudy Klein - LA 5th Owner - Ron Spindler - LA 6th Owner - Scott Stupay - Virginia 7th Owner – Jamie McIntyre - UK This example has recently been treated to a full recommissioning by specialist preparers, Pursuit, to match the specification of the first ISO A3/C Corsa; a car which, unlike the Bizzarrini-badged cars, raced in early 1964. This was an important factor; as the car needed to be able to gain entry to Goodwood. It is also worth noting that all original parts that were removed during the rebuild have been carefully retained, including all interior trim and brightwork. There are disc brakes all round, independent front suspension and a De-Dion rear axle. The engine BHP has been reduced from just over 470bhp to 448bhp in favour of a more linear curve and increased torque. As such, the car is eligible for numerous events during the racing calendar, including the Goodwood TT, the Spa Six Hours and the Masters historic racing series where it would be without doubt a front runner in the right hands. The restoration process included a distinct focus on weight-saving where possible, with the outcome being a reduction of over 30kgs. A bespoke, inconel, silenced exhaust system was developed and fitted. Amends were made to the car to ensure it conformed to HTP regulations and tipping the scales at a scant 1,098kg, it meets the minimum homologated weight. Accompanying the car are a large number of documents and photographs of the rebuild and of the car in its dismantled state. Post restoration laps at Goodwood saw the car set a time that would have put it on pole for Goodwood TT only a few weeks later As well as a full gearbox and differential refresh, the overhaul included engine dyno testing, damper testing, a brake rebuild and subsequent testing to ensure this example is ready to race. This Bizzarrini presents today once more in it period livery and available to view by appointment immediately. HTP papers are in process and will be supplied with the car 1965 Bizzarrini 5300 GT D.K. • 1974-alfa-romeo-montreal-01

Welcome to the ’70s. This is the car that perfectly embodies a decade when gold metallic paint and V8 engines were the answer to all of life’s problems. A time when the tax office wasn’t great at math, and everyone sparkled in glorious irresponsibility. And it was wonderful. This 1974 Alfa Romeo Montreal comes in the outrageously extravagant and original color ‘Oro Metallizzato’ — the kind of gold that makes you want to wear a thick chain over an open polyester shirt. And we absolutely love it. The party continues inside with an interior just as striking: Avana Beige. It’s the color of a vintage tuxedo — luxurious and suave — and it feels like it’s about to offer you a bottle of Chivas Regal and a lighter. This is the car for the person who doesn’t ask for attention — they simply command it. Beneath that brilliantly low-slung body, drawn by design god Marcello Gandini (yes, the man behind the Miura), lies proof that Alfa Romeo’s engineers were drinking from the fountain of madness. They dropped in the engine from their ferocious Tipo 33 race prototype — an advanced, all-aluminum V8 with dry-sump lubrication. And look at those headlights: those genius louvered “blinds.” Gandini must have thought, “Let’s give the lights sunglasses — they’re too cool to be on display all the time.” The Montreal is what happens when you tell a designer not to stay within the lines. Only 3,925 of these mechanical masterpieces were ever built, making it a rare gem. And in this Oro Metallizzato specification — so rare we almost don’t want to sell it — you’ll own Alfa’s most legendary engine wrapped in their most iconic 1970s design. The Montreal is the ultimate statement car. Originally delivered in Europe and brought to the Netherlands in 2003, it has been meticulously cared for ever since. If you’re looking for a modest, sensible car — buy a Toyota. If you’re after a car that roars, glitters, and smells like petrol and pure, unfiltered joy, you’ve just found your new obsession. • 1991-ferrari-348

The Car Barn are very pleased to offer for sale this beautiful Ferrari 348. It is finished in the quintessential Ferrari colour combination of Rosso Corsa with Creama leather. The 348 is powered by a mid-mounted naturally aspirated 3.4-litre V8, delivering 296bhp to the rear wheels through an open-gate five-speed manual transmission. It was treated to a major service in November 2021, which included replacing the cam belts, water pump, and tensioners. The clutch was replaced in April 2015 at 47,670 miles. Factory-fitted equipment includes climate control, electric windows, and electric mirrors. The car is accompanied by the original owner’s book pack, including the service book with 12 stamps. It was last serviced in November 2021 at 50,081 miles, when Classic Car Solutions replaced the cam belt, water pump, tensioners, and coolant. Bell Classics previously carried out a service in April 2015 at 47,670 miles, which included replacing the engine oil and oil filter, cam belt, water pump, cam cover gaskets, camshaft seals, track rod ends, and CV joints, as well as rebuilding the steering rack. They also fitted uprated Hill Engineering tensioners, checked and set the valve clearances, and carried out a leak-down test, with all cylinders showing a compression loss of less than five percent. During this visit the Bell Classics also installed a single-plate clutch and technicians re-packed the flywheel, fitted Goodridge brake hoses, re-cored the radiators, rebuilt the dampers, replaced the second-gear synchromesh, replaced the hand brake cable and all brake pads, installed poly-bushes to the suspension. The current owner bought it in 2022 and has kept it in storage since. It has only done 60 miles since he purchased it. Jonathon's comments: 'The 348 has been an under appreciated Ferrari for years and finally starting to be recognised. It's a real event to drive, not the fastest by todays standards but the way it makes you feel is what's important. The car has got a good service history and it has spent a lot of its life in storage, hopefully the next owner will drive it!' The car will receive a fresh service and MoT test prior to leaving the Car Barn. Today, having covered 26,500km, 12990 has enjoyed just two owners from new while spending time in both Michigan and Illinois, and wears mostly original Rosso paint with the stunning Champagne interior showing minimal wear from new. The sale of 12990 includes all records and paperwork from new, inclusive of the original sales invoice, as well as owners manuals. Benefitting from regular and consistent servicing from new, 12990 has recently undergone service in preparation for sale at Vantage Motors, which includes repair and remedy of an exhaust leak, as well as repairing the air injection pipes on the intake manifold. 12990 is eager to run with the best and enthusiastically begin its next chapter on the open roads. 1986 Lamborghini Countach 5000 quattrovalvole The Cultivated Collector LLC If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1985 Ferrari 288 GTO 2

Number 31 of 272 made Fully documented history Superb Condition A car we have dealt with before - first selling it to Ferrari collector David Morrison in 1991. The car was sold in March 21 1985 to it's first Italian owner - Giuseppe Daloiso through Ferrari dealer SVEA S.p.A of Bari Italy and collected from the factory on that day. It was seen at a number of Ferrari club meetings until February 1989 when the first owner's new F40 arrived and he sold the car to Michael Vernon - a major Ferrari collector who owned cars such as a 312 PB, ex Niki Lauda 312 T #022 etc...a serious custodian! The car was shown at test days and the Ferrari Owners Club Concours at Brocket Hall - still on it's Italian plates. In August 1989 the car was sold to Mr Neilan who re-registered the car on English plates and took it to the Nurburgring Historic races that month. In March 1991 we had the car in stock and sold it to David Morrison - a client to whom we had sold a Ferrari 250 GTO, 250 California Spyder and numerous other very collectible Ferrari. The car was serviced at Maranello and Bob Houghton during his tenure until in May 2004 the car was sold to a dealer who sold it in March 2005 to a Jersey based collector. A little over a year later the car was sold by Bob Houghton to a Yorkshire based collector who entered #52737 into the Ferrari Owners Club UK Concours at Walton Hall, where it placed 2nd in Class B for 288 GTOs and F40s. In July 5/6, 2008 the GTO was shown again at the Ferrari Owners Club UK Annual Meet and Concours at Walton Hall, England and a year later, at the FOC UK Annual Meeting and 288 GTO Anniversary meeting at Broughton House. In 2013 the car was shown at the VIII Salon Privé Concours d'Elégance held at Syon Park, London and on the 22nd June 2014, at the Super Car Pageant in St. John’s Wood, England. We have acquired the car from the last owner and confirm the car is in superb condition ready to show, tour or simply enjoy ownership of a fantastic example of a GTO. 1985 Ferrari 288 GTO Talacrest If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1967 Porsche 912

The Porsche 912 was introduced as a successor to the iconic 356 model in 1965. Designed as an entry-level sports car, the 912 was intended to bridge the gap between the more affordable Volkswagen Beetle and the high-performance Porsche 911 while helping to drive sales to an ever-expanding market. The introduction of the 912 offered Porsche enthusiasts a more accessible option without compromising on the brand’s reputation for engineering excellence and driving enjoyment. With its easily identifiable styling and refined handling, the 912 quickly gained popularity among enthusiasts around the world. Mechanically, the Porsche 912 shared many components with its more powerful sibling, the 911. It was equipped with a 1.6-liter, flat-four engine, which provided a respectable amount of power and a smooth driving experience. The engine was air-cooled and placed in the rear, just like in the 911, giving the car excellent weight distribution and handling characteristics. The 912 featured a four-speed manual transmission, with an optional 5-speed transmission for $35 more, allowing drivers to enjoy the car’s performance potential fully. The combination of the lightweight chassis, responsive steering, and well-tuned suspension made the Porsche 912 a joy to drive, delivering a thrilling and engaging driving experience. Originally intended to bridge a pricing gap and appeal to a wider market, the 912 was extremely successful in this realm. Throughout 1967 the 912 outsold its more powerful 911 sibling by a factor of almost 2 to 1. In terms of production numbers, Porsche manufactured the 912 from 1965 to 1969, with some later versions showing up in the model line in the 70s. During this four-year period, approximately 30,000 units were produced, making it a relatively rare vehicle compared to the higher-volume models of its time. The relatively limited production numbers, combined with the car’s unique position in Porsche’s history, have contributed to its collectability over the years. Today, it still serves the same niche it did when new, a more affordable entry point into air-cooled Porsche ownership. The pricing of these 4-cylinder 911 look-a-likes may not currently reflect what they did historically, but the pricing of these are tied very closely to the air-cooled early 911 market, which has seen meteoric rises over the past 10 years. The 912 still remains a thoroughly enjoyable and rewarding car to drive, and combined with its iconic looks, it is sure to remain a staple in the world of collectible classic Porsches. The example on offer here is a 1967 Porsche 912. It currently wears a Sand Beige exterior over a Black interior, the same combination that it left the factory with. Currently, the odometer shows 48,215 miles. However, we are unable to confirm if these are true original miles or not. It is fitted with the factory standard 4-speed manual transmission. This 912 is offered on consignment with us from a prominent and avid Porsche collector. As the car sits today, it is a driver-quality example that wears driver cosmetics and drives with some further sorting required to run even better. It could easily be enjoyed as is or have a few items attended to that would truly bring it to the next level. When the car arrived at our facility, it had been sitting for quite some time so we had the front brake lines replaced, as well as the left outer tie rod. In addition, the fuel filter was replaced as well as some of the fuel lines in the engine bay. Currently, the car runs and drives decently. There are a few items that could be attended to, such as a high idle as well as some grinding when going into second gear unless shifting extremely slow. However, given its overall solid cosmetic condition, it serves as a perfect jumping-off point should someone want to take it to the next level. It should be noted that this 912 does feature a blank stamping on the case, meaning that it is not the original engine to the car but could be the correct type engine. This certainly does not affect the drivability and the fun factor of this car and means that it is one less thing to worry about mechanically moving forward. Overall, this 912 presents nicely as a driver and, is finished in a perfectly 60’s colorway. Its mechanicals are solid enough that it could be driven and enjoyed as is or, with a little bit of extra attention, could truly be brought to the next level and made to be a fantastic driver. EXTERIOR Body And Paint The Sand Beige exterior paint remains in good condition, with consistent finish and color throughout the body. Given the overall condition of the paint it is likely that this was a relatively recent respray of the car. In our opinion, it could benefit from a proper wet sand and buff which would leave it in great shape. There are minimal signs of imperfections in the paint itself, with the exception of some minor stone chips on the front area of the car, which is to be expected from a driver quality example. The body itself is straight down the sides with good shut gaps. There are no obvious signs of any issues with the body though we do note that there may be some body filler in the rocker areas. Glass And Trim It is apparent that the chrome trim was likely not redone when the body was resprayed. It is in nice serviceable condition but does show imperfections in the form of pitting and scratching throughout most of the car. It retains good shine, but close inspection shows the imperfections as mentioned. Rubber trim throughout the car remains in good condition with a nice supple nature to it and good color. The rubber strips on the leading edge of the bumpers likely show the most amount of age but still remain in ok condition. Much of the glass shows proper branding with the side and rear windows all showing Sekurit stampings with the exception of the drivers side window which has no branding. The windshield is branded Sigla. All the glass remains in good serviceable condition, with some minor light scratching and swirling, visible under direct light, but no delamination or serious issues. The headlight lens show a bit of stone pepperings but remain clean and clear. Marker lights and taillights remain in good condition with no cracking or fading. Wheels The wheels all remain in good condition, with nice painted surfaces and good chrome hub caps with nice shine to them. Center caps are likewise in good order. INTERIOR Seats And Surfaces The interior of this 912 remains in relatively good order but certainly falls in the category of drive quality. There are a number of imperfections such as a separation of the stitching in the top corner of the drivers side seat as well as a section on the drivers side door card where the window winder has contacted the material and scratched the surface through. Some of the painted surfaces on the dash area show chipping and flaking of paint, especially around the top of the gauge cluster. There is also some general wear from use on things like the shifter knob and emergency break lever as well as the sun visors showing a bit of bagginess to the material. Despite these imperfections, the interior does present well and has many redeeming qualities. The carpets retain excellent color and texture and fit very nicely. The seat surfaces themselves remain in good order with smooth material and great color. The headliner fits nice and tight and shows no staining or imperfections. The gauges show some age, but retain good color and readability to them. Functionality And Accessories In our brief testing of the vehicle it appears that much of the interior items function as they should. The drivers side window winder does contact the door card, which has led to scratching of the surface material. This could either be caused from bowing of the dor card or a bent winder arm. The gauges all appear to read their requisite functions as they should. The emergency brake holds the car firmly in place and the shifter moves easily through its range of motion. ENGINE BAY AND TRUNK Engine Bay The engine bay does present very nicely and looks relatively correct thoughout with the appropriate stickers in place. Components all appear to be the correct style with the exception of some modern clamps scattered throughout. Everything looks well cared for, painted surfaces retain good consistency and there are no signs of any issues past or present. It should be noted that the case of the engine is a replacement unit and is blank, containing no engine number stamping. It is the correct 616/36 type but is a replacement unit. Trunk Area The front trunk area displays nicely, with well kept carpeting that fits relatively nicely. Lifting the carpets reveals a clean and tidy spare as well as good looking painted surfaces. The spare wheel well is clean and tidy. Some of the wires and tubing scattered throughout the engine bay show their age and could likely stand to be replaced but theres are no signs of any issues with them. Underside The underside of the car presents as one would expect from a driver quality example. Overall its solid with no signs of any issues present, but obvious signs of age and use. There is a solid layer of undercoating to help prevent the floor pan from corrosion. In area’s where the undercoating is not present or chipped away, there is some signs of minor surface corrosion present. There is some road dirt in the wheel wells but otherwise they look solid. The suspension components show some surface oxidation on them but no signs of any pressing issues. It should be noted that there appears to be a screw driven through the floor pan on the driver’s side, used to stabilize some backing material in the foot well above. Again, the underside presents as one would expect from a driver quality example, solid with some areas that could receive attention should its next owner want to take it to the next level. MECHANICALS Engine The engine is a bit slow to start when cold, taking a few cycles of the ignition and some finessing of the gas pedal. Once it fires to life, it sounds healthy but does tend to idle a bit high as the temperature builds. Out on the road it makes good power and revs relatively freely. It tends to struggle a bit under 3,000 RPM’s but once above that it makes excellent power. We spent some time chasing this down and feel that it could certainly be tied to the high idle as well. It would be our recommendation that the car have the carbs looked over before embarking on any major excursions. Transmission The 4-speed manual transmission shifts well and holds power as it should. 1’st gear requires the car to be stopped or moving very slowly before engaging and 2’nd gear requires a very smooth and deliberate shift to engage without grinding. The clutch feels strong and takeup and feedback appear to be good. Brakes And Suspension When the car showed up to our shop it was having some issues with dragging brakes. We sent it to CR Cars who replaced some brakes lines and gave it a look over. It now brakes as it should with no issues, bringing the car to a smooth and controlled stop. The suspension feels compliant and responsive. Its maybe not be quite as tight as it should be, and going through suspension components is one thing we would suggest doing if a future owner wanted to take this car to the next level. Tires The tires are a set of Vredestein Sprint Classis, a very period correct looking tire option that fits the car well. They retain solid side walls and excellent tread on all 4 corners. DRIVING EXPERIENCE While some may snub their noses at a car that looks like a 911 but only has 4 cylinders, these people are outright wrong. The 912 may be slightly down on power but it provides almost an even more rewarding driving experience. The smaller 4 cylinder engine means you can really push the RPM’s to their upper limits without getting yourself into a dangerous spot like you might with it’s more powerful 911 sibling. The chassis and handling are all there as well, providing you the same visceral and connected driving experience you would expect from the shape of the car. Overall the 912 provides an outstanding driving experience for the dollar and combined with the fantastic looks of the body and the reliability of the tried and true flat four-cylinder engine its an all around winning combination. 1967 Porsche 912 LBI Limited If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. This highly original V8 Volante is a rare example of Aston Martin’s fast and luxurious soft-top. Only 157 right-hand-drive examples were built using Weber carburettors before the model switched to fuel injection. The Heritage Certificate for chassis number V8/COR/15133 states that it was built on 19 October 1979 and despatched on 11 January 1980. An original UK home-market car, it was finished in Tourmaline Blue with Magnolia leather and an Off White hood, and was fitted with the three-speed automatic gearbox that perfectly complements the 5.3-litre V8 engine. The service book shows that, in November 1981, the Aston Martin was bought from Victor Wilson Ltd of Edinburgh by James McNeil. It was initially registered in the name of McNeil’s Glasgow-based business – Apollo Window Blinds Ltd – but in 1989 he registered the Aston in his own name, and held on to it until 2010. It then passed to a new owner who used it for travelling between an underground garage in Scotland and his summer home in Ascona, Switzerland. In 2018, the underside of the V8 Volante was treated to an extensive refresh, with work being carried out on the suspension and brakes. The history file includes photographs of that process, plus two service books featuring stamps going back to 1980, the period sales brochure, leather tool roll and the original Owner’s Manual. The diamond-cut wheels have been refurbished and the Aston is still presented in its original colour combination. It was featured in issue 228 of Octane magazine, with an impressed Robert Coucher writing that ‘its engine is the heart of the beast. Once fired, it is loud and proud and the whole car throbs with soulful verve… depress the throttle pedal to the stop [and] the big V8 wakes up and bellows, the Aston squats on its rear de Dion axle and takes off.’ This Aston Martin V8 Volante is a car that we know well and is being offered for sale in beautifully original condition. Recent work during the current ownership has included both front seats being stripped down and re-foamed, the carpets and underfelt being replaced throughout, and the door cards being refurbished. A new fuel pump has also been fitted, plus new power-steering hoses. The end result is a superb example of this muscular British grand tourer that’s ready to be used and enjoyed throughout the summer. 1980 Aston Martin V8 Volante The Classic Motor Hub If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer.
