This glorious 2000 GTV was purchased from Salvage Hunters:Classic Cars, having starred in the show and has been further enhanced by its enthusiast owner. On its launch in 1972, the 2000 GT Veloce retained its predecessor's (the 1750 GTV) coachwork but with minor detail styling changes, and offered improved performance courtesy of its torquey, 132bhp engine. Drivers' cars par excellence in the best Alfa Romeo tradition, Bertone's timelessly elegant Giulia-based coupés are among the most exciting sports models of the 1960s and 1970s. This beautiful 2000 GTV started its life on the road in South Africa where it was sent new in right-hand drive in January 1975 as a ‘knock down kit’ (CKD) prior to final assembly in the Alfa factory in Booysens, Johannesburg. SA’s favourable climate makes it a popular choice for people sourcing right-hand drive Alfas, and this example arrived in the UK in 2001 (having covered some 69,000km). It remained a cherished original classic until 2021 when it was selected to feature in an episode of Drew Pritchard’s Salvage Hunters:Classic Cars who, at great expense, turned it into a fast road 'Veloce' sitting between a GTV and a GTA. They called upon a number of leading Alfa marque specialists and the new specification included a Stage 2 Alfaholics fast road suspension package (Kit C 2" drop), four new 7 x15 GTA wheels with new Michelin tyres and an Alfaholics exhaust system. Cloverleaf Transmissions rebuilt the rear axle and fitted a limited-slip differential and a rebuilt manual gearbox was supplied by Alfaholics to replace the car’s automatic transmission. The rear brake calipers were replaced and braided hoses fitted and the car benefited from new carpets, meshed grille, bespoke cloverleaf gear knob, billet aluminium pedals and a heated screen. The show featuring the Alfa was broadcast on 20th December 2021. The car was purchased from the show by our vendor who has continued to make this 2000 GTV as perfect and enjoyable to drive as possible. He had the engine rebuilt by renowned Historic Alfa race experts, Brunswick Automotive Ltd, in fast road specification with electronic ignition and it now it produces a very healthy 169bhp confirmed by a rolling-road printout in the history file. It has recently been entrusted to Quest Brothers Classic Cars where any paint blemishes have been rectified and the engine bay nicely detailed, followed by a retrim with the distinctive GTV seats recovered in beautiful tan leather. It’s supplied with its V5C, a large history file, a number of invoices from the recent restoration and a Certificate from Alfa Romeo confirming its build date. Originally styled by Giorgetto Giugiaro for Bertone, these pretty 105-Series coupés look particularly special with period updates and this GTV is no exception, with nearly £30,000 lavished on some very tasteful enhancements. Recent auction result show they are still on an upward trajectory and they don’t come much more sorted than this impressive example. 1975 Alfa Romeo 2000 GT Veloce Iconic Auctioneers Ltd If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. Alejandro de Tomaso had a bold vision for Maserati when he acquired the ailing manufacturer in 1976, with a strategy focussing on a more affordable sports car range called Biturbo. As implied, the Biturbo had a twin-turbocharged V6 engine of Maserati's own design, and in 1984 Zagato was commissioned to develop a Spyder variant. The wheelbase was shortened by some 114mm to create a strict two-seater with compact proportions, and with a manual transmission and endless torque from the world's first production twin turbocharged engine, the Spyder lived up to the famous trident badge. Today, the Biturbo Spyder is a tasteful under-the-radar alternative for those wanting a high performance modern classic roadster. Finished in Maserati Rosso Red with Beige Nuvalato hide, this particular Biturbo was supplied new on 3rd November 1988 by appointed agents Grayshott Motor Company in Hindhead to its first owner residing in Guildford, specified with the optional Lattice Spoke alloy wheels adding the final touch to this outstanding Spyder. He obviously enjoyed the Maserati as he retained the car for 14 years until 2002 although it was used sparingly as part of his collection. It was clearly well maintained during that period illustrated by its interesting history file containing an MOT trace backing up the incredibly low mileage which, at time of viewing, was just 2,672. With a change of ownership in 2002, the Maserati moved to another private collection, residing for some 13 years in Marbella and again maintained as required to ensure that it was on the button should the decision be made to enjoy an impromptu trip to the golf club. It should also be noted at this time that the car was never registered in Spain and is still recorded on the DVLA register as having had no former keepers. Returning to the UK in 2024, the Maserati was subject to a full health check by marque specialists, with all belts replaced along with a general recommissioning of all components where deemed necessary before being placed within another private collection and used sparingly, once again retaining the exceptionally low recorded mileage. The Biturbo Spyder is a quick, stylish and very affordable Latin 'junior' supercar that will, with proper maintenance, provide many years of reliable and immensely rewarding driving. Such is the rarity of this beautiful example, bearing in mind the exceptionally low mileage, we strongly recommend your early inspection at the NEC to fully appreciate the opportunity on offer. 1988 Maserati Biturbo Spyder Iconic Auctioneers Ltd If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. V6 FMC enjoyed much success including a win on the WRC 2000 Rally of Cyprus with Carlos Sainz/Luis Moya and became part of WRC folklore for Colin McRae's heroic battle through the snow back to ninth on the 2001 WRC Swedish Rally. Officially titled the Focus RS WRC, Ford's legendary rally car started a total of 173 events over the years, and has been driven by such legends as Marcus Gronholm, Mikko Hirvonen, Petter Solberg and Carlos Sainz. Not forgetting, of course the late Colin McRae, who made the Martini-clad Focus a bit of an icon. Few cars have had such a long innings at the forefront of the WRC, and it all started back in 1999 when the Focus first appeared at the Monte Carlo Rally. Built in utmost secrecy and codenamed C170, the Focus WRC was based upon the well engineered road car, which boasted a 10% stiffer bodyshell than that of its predecessor, the Escort. It housed a new Ford Zetec E 16V turbocharged engine and other areas of the car were also further developed making it a compact and nimble contender. Along with a new car for the 1999 season, Ford had also managed to lure away the 1995 World Rally Champion, Colin McRae, from Subaru at a reported sum of £6,000,000 over two years - making him the highest earning rally driver in history. Always a favourite amongst rally fans due to his 'if in doubt, flat out' driving style, McRae won 25 WRC events in his career and in doing so, etched his name into motorsport folklore. Most of the distinctive FMC registration numbers on their WRC cars are indelibly etched in rally enthusiast's memories, particularly V6 FMC which remained competitive for nearly four years, a long time for a rally car at this level. It was used by Carlos Sainz/Luis Moya for the Rallye Catalunya in March 2000 (third) and the Acropolis (second) in June and was famously guided by Carlos Sainz/Luis Moya to victory on the WRC 2000 Rally of Cyprus (Round Ten) finishing 37.4 seconds ahead of Colin McRae in V5 FMC. The car enjoyed two further outings in November when it was driven by Raimund Baumschlager and Stephen Finlay. In February 2001, V6 FMC was entered by Ford Motor Company for Colin McRae and Nicky Grist in the International Swedish Rally alongside Carlos Sainz in V8 FMC and Francois Delecour in V3 FMC. One of the iciest and snow-banked events for many years saw Colin McRae at his inimitable best fighting for the lead, kissing heaped snow walls as he mounted a challenge. On Stage Five and Six, V6 FMC posted the fastest stage times, however a few stages later, Colin lent on a snow bank that had been weakened by earlier cars, it gave way and the car went off. Fortunately, dozens of ever enthusiastic Swedish spectators manhandled the Focus back on to the stage but time was lost. The gearbox became stuck in sixth and a ninth place finish was the best that they could manage, but the crowd had witnessed Colin McRae at his fighting best. Through the remaining part of 2001 and up until May 2002 V6 FMC was campaigned in WRC events by the Italian pairing of Paulo Andreucci/Anna Andruessi with top AB results. In May 2002, the car was purchased by the experienced Norwegian driver, Valter Jensen, and with co-driver Erik Pedersen competed in many domestic rallies through to June 2004, gaining plenty of credible top five results. The Focus remained in his possession for nearly 25 years, making its reappearance a noteworthy story. Now returned to the UK, the car is supplied with a full documented history file including its original purchase invoice from Malcolm Wilson’s M-Sport, export papers, its Gold Logbook, M-Sport correspondence, and details of an engine rebuild with less than 100km running time since. Supplied at the time was c.£100,000 worth of M-Sports spares, in itself a special part of the story of Valter Jensen’s long association with V6 FMC, and these are available by separate negotiation. Supplied with the car, however, are the lamp and bumper pods and an extra set of five wheels. Neil Buckley of Dom Buckley Motorsport has recently checked the car all over and it has just benefited from a full service with cambelts and fluids etc. This is a special opportunity to acquire 2000 Rally of Cyprus-winning V6 FMC, long unseen and part of WRC folklore for Colin McRae's heroic battle through the snow on the 2001 Swedish Rally. 2000 Ford Focus Mk1 WRC Iconic Auctioneers Ltd If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1972-ferrari-246-gts-dino-1

The Ferrari Dino 246 GT in its late "E-Series" form represented the final, most refined chapter of the Dino lineage. Production of the GTS began on the E-Series platform in early 1972 and continued until its conclusion in 1974, with just 1,274 GTS examples built. European-delivery GTS models carried a higher power output and less weight than U.S. versions, also distinguished by their flush-mounted front turn signals. According to research by marque historian Matthias Bartz, this 246 GTS-chassis number 03900-was completed by Scaglietti on 20 April 1972, finished in striking Giallo Fly (Fly Yellow) over a Nero (Black) vinyl interior. The car was equipped from the factory with power windows, a rare addition on European-delivery examples. As an early GTS example, it benefits from the technical improvements implemented in previous series but retains the arguably more attractive L- and M-Series front bumpers which wrap around into the grille. Chassis 03900 was dispatched to Ferrari's French distributor, Charles Pozzi SA in Paris, where it found its first owner, a Mr. Daniel Rouveyran. The Dino remained in France until making its way to the United States in the early 1980s, belonging to a caretaker in Pennsylvania. In 1996, the car passed to Eddie Karam, also of Pennsylvania, who would maintain custody for an impressive 25 years until 2021. That year, the car joined a new caretaker in Ohio, who invested in a comprehensive mechanical refurbishment. This level of care has continued since its acquisition in 2022 by its most recent caretaker, a Los Angeles-based collector of European sports cars, evidenced by a $24,016 investment at Gran Turismo of Los Angeles in May of 2024. Including, but limited to: New fuel pump Oil filter and fluids Brake master cylinder Nnumerous gaskets and seals The cooling system was completely overhauled with radiator repair/re-coring and new hoses Restoration of the steering column switch assembly New aluminum belly covers, proper riveting, and protection in the form of POR-15 coating Fuel system components were renewed throughout The electrical system was thoroughly inspected and improved with new MSD ignition components Countless small details were addressed to bring the car to exemplary mechanical condition. Followed by paint correction and a dry ice cleaning revealing many factory finishes. A Fall 2025 Inspection and Service addressed new fluids, ignition cap, a rebuild of the carburetors and major detailing. According to Bartz's research and report on file, chassis 03900 retains its original, matching-numbers 2.4-liter Tipo 135CS V6 engine (number 0009729) and five-speed transaxle (number 874 E), cloaked in its timeless original Giallo Fly and Nero livery. 1972 Ferrari 246 GTS Dino Driver Source Fine Motorcars If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1973-dino-246-gts-02

The much sought-after Ferrari 246 Dino GT was named after Enzo Ferrari's son Alfredo, who died in 1956, aged just 24. Enzo Ferrari credits his son with the inspiration for a series of successful small and medium capacity V6 racing engines built by Ferrari from 1956, and in turn, the name was given to a new line of mid-engined production Ferrari V6 coupés, which first went on sale in 1969. The Dino 246 GT has proved to be one of the most satisfying and successful automobiles built by Ferrari and paved the way for the emerging generation of mid-engined Ferraris. It is widely regarded as one of the best-handling and most gratifying automobiles of the early 70s, it is one of the most attractive, delicately balanced designs ever produced by the masters at Pininfarina. As a result, Dinos have enjoyed a well-deserved recent surge in popularity. The GTS version of the 246 Dino arrived at the Geneva Salon in March 1972, it was built on the series III platform and featured a removable targa roof panel that could be stowed behind the seats. The chassis was also modified with reinforced extra bracing along the sides and front of the engine frame. Aside the targa top visibly the GTS could be identified by the lack of rear three-quarter windows, these being replaced by a bank of three vents carved out from each sail panel. Production of both the GT and GTS came to an end in 1974, just 1274 GTSs were built. This Dino GTS was supplied new in Bianco Polo Park over Blu 135 with Blue Carpets and electric windows. Completed in October 1973, the car was supplied new by Pennine Motors of Harrogate, through the UK market importer, Maranello Concessionaires Ltd. The invoiced price to Pennine Motors in November 1973 was £5,572.95 including delivery, less the dealer's 17.5 % discount. The car was purchased in August 1974 and until 2021, this example resided within the large and significant collection of His Royal Highness Prince Alwaleed Al Saud, grandson of the founder and first ruler of Saudi Arabia. Understood to have been a gift by his wife, the Dino was purchased in the UK and fitted with a rather fitting cherished registration ‘3 HRH’ which it wore until 1993, leaving the UK in 2007. The Dino would follow the Prince to his Geneva residence, where it would change to a full diplomatic registration mark denoted by the precursory ‘CD’, an abbreviation of ‘Corps Diplomatique’, at the start. In total, this GTS would remain in the care of His Royal Highness Prince Alwaleed Al Saud for 47 years. Invoices in file document restorative works with Geneva-based Ferrari Modena Motors SA totalling £67,000 in 2009 and more recently, further works carried out by trusted main dealer and notable classic Ferrari specialist, Niki Hasler Ferrari of Basel amounting to a further £80,000. Purchased by a close friend of the Prince in 2021, DK Engineering subsequently rehomed this example with its current custodian. Passing through our workshops in July 2024, a significant amount of mechanical and condition improving works were performed. A major engine-out service saw both head gaskets replaced, and a subsequent dry ice clean and comprehensive detail were performed. The heat shields were repainted, the rubbers on the front grille removed, the drop link and ball joint boots were replaced, and the idle rpm was lowered. Presenting today superbly, in its striking original colour combination of Bianco Polo Park over Blu, this Dino GTS, certified as matching numbers and understood to be genuine mileage, is available to view at our showrooms outside London immediately. 1973 Dino 246 GTS D.K. • 1994-lamborghini-diablo-se30-1

Launched to celebrate Lamborghini’s thirtieth anniversary in 1993, the Diablo SE30 was marketed by Lamborghini as a street-legal race car, seeing not only a boost in power but also a reduction in weight over its siblings, making for arguably the most exciting car in the company’s illustrious history. Mechanically, the SE30 retained Lamborghini’s legendary V-12 but featured a revised fuel system, magnesium intake manifolds, and a free-flow exhaust that combined to increase output to 525 horsepower. Unlike the Diablo VT, the SE30 was a raw, rear-wheel-drive machine. Driver-adjustable sway bars controlled by a cabin-mounted switch transitioned the SE30 from firm to race-stiff. Lamborghini turned to carbon fiber for many of the SE30’s body panels, and the company used race-specification brakes to bring its lighter, faster Diablo to a halt. Tipping the scales at about 3,150 pounds, the Diablo SE30 benefited from a savings of more than 300 pounds over the standard rear-wheel drive Diablo and nearly 400 pounds over the all-wheel drive VT. Lamborghini also eliminated creature comforts such as air conditioning, power steering, the Alpine audio system, and the multi-adjustable leather seats. Purposeful carbon fiber seats fitted with four-point racing harnesses held the driver and passenger in place. Even the power windows were removed in favor of fixed plexiglass units with a sliding vent window. Delivered new to Germany via Auto Kremer in Bonn in November of 1994, this Diablo SE30 was originally finished in what is undoubtedly the must-have color combination for the model; Viola SE30 (a paint color introduced especially for this model that still remains an option for Lamborghinis built today) over a Blu Alcantara interior. Serial number 061 would spend the first three years of its life there prior to being sold from the first owner to Japan, again via Auto Kremer in 1997. Sold to an owner in Tokyo in 1999, the car would pass through subsequent owners in Fukui, then Aichi, and finally Kanagawa in 2012. Since its arrival in the United States in 2023, the car has been subject to numerous service works to bring the car to its current, exceptional standard. A full engine-out service was carried out by Flying Wrench of East Northport, NY, in June of 2024, which also included replacing the clutch, new engine gaskets and seals, and replacing the air conditioning compressor belts. Later that summer, the car was sent to Vantage Motorworks of Stamford, Connecticut, for a refresh of the braking system. Four new Pirelli P Zero tires were fitted in September of 2024. All this work totals approximately $57,000, and invoices for this are on file. Still sporting its original color combination of Viola SE30 over a Blu Alcantara, the Diabo has seen a resurgence in recent years, beloved by enthusiasts for their sheer character and panache, with the SE30 being particularly sought after for its added performance over its predecessors. This SE30 has been largely kept in static storage and presents very well throughout, having been driven approximately 1,200 km over the past twelve years, with the odometer showing 12,840 km at the time of cataloguing, which is believed to be original. It would make an exciting addition to any collection of Lamborghinis, perfectly bridging the gap between the current cars produced under Audi AG’s ownership today and the Miura and Countach. 1994 Lamborghini Diablo SE30 RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. General Overview

For decades, astute collectors have sought Ferraris that can be driven enjoyably with friends and family members either for personal outings or as part of touring events hosted all over the world. During the 1960s, this same sentiment had allowed Ferrari to capture a larger market share with the addition of rear seating capacity accompanied by more luxurious driving amenities. Beginning with the successful 250 GTE, the 330 GT 2+2 followed in 1964, eventually succeeded by the 365 GT 2+2, Ferrari set a tradition of excellent four passenger touring cars. Debuting at the 1967 Paris Auto Show, the beautifully elongated Pininfarina body, influenced by the limited production 500 Superfast and Super Americas, featured dramatic front and rear overhangs, beautiful side glass, and handsome if not stately proportions. The 365 GT 2+2 not only offered impressive performance, it was a truly superlative grand touring car, capturing the hearts of sports car enthusiasts and the motoring press. With its 320 bhp 4.4 Liter V12 engine and five-speed gearbox, 0-60 times were achieved in a remarkable 7.0 seconds with a top speed of 150 mph. Girling four-wheel ventilated disc brakes, independent suspension all round, and Koni's hydro-pneumatic self-leveling suspension system (to aid in weight balancing for rear passengers), delivered engaging performance with refined driving manners. Interior noise and vibration were vastly improved using isolating rubber drive-line mounts and, with comfort amenities such as ZF variable ratio power-assisted steering, power windows, power wing windows, and air conditioning as standard equipment, blending comfort with performance became thoughtfully united in a Ferrari fit for royalty. Which is partly the impetus for the nickname these cars earned when first reviewed by Road & Track as the “Queen Mother of Ferraris”. With a wide track and increased trunk capacity, the 365 GT was larger than previous Ferraris, but its size did not diminish the performance capacity or nimble road characteristics so highly desired by Ferrari owners.
History of this Ferrari According to the original Ferrari owner’s Tessera di Garanzia (warranty booklet) this Ferrari was delivered July 17, 1969, to Bill Harrah’s Modern Classic Motors, Reno, NV, and sold to the first owner who performed the required A,B, and C services on September 20, 1969, and December 28, 1969, at Premier Imports Inc., San Carlos, CA, retaining the black and yellow California license plates which remain on the car today. The second owner of record purchased this Ferrari on October 26, 1974, with 26,493 miles recorded from Europa Car, Atherton, CA. The third owner of record purchased the car December 11, 1979, with 45,000 miles. On March 27, 1984, the fourth owner of record purchased the car with 62,351 miles. This owner would retain the car for more than 25 years including time spent in Salem, OR with a family member who performed services on the car through 2010. In 2013, the current owner purchased the car then indicating 93,192 miles. Mileage recorded on copious service records dating back to 1974 indicate consecutively accumulated miles including typewritten ledgers of services and mileage through the 1980s and excel spreadsheet ledgers from 2000-2010. Samples of the mileage recorded from the service records include 10/26/74 26,493 miles Feb 1975 31,266 miles Feb 1976 36,106 miles July 1979 45,000 miles 1984 62,351 miles Mar 1985 67,918 miles July 1986 77,170 miles July 1987 81,416 miles 1988 85,000 miles 2009 88,241 miles 2013 93,192 miles Aug 2020 96,372 miles Oct 2025 96,428 miles After the current owner purchased this car in 2013, they enjoyed the car and addressed various mechanical and cosmetic details as needed. The interior was reupholstered including new seats, door panels, side panels, and headliner and various mechanical systems were addressed including new fuel pumps, rebuild for the front and rear Koni suspension system, new radio, new tires, and additional attention to the V12 engine. In 2020, Ferrari of San Antonio, TX rebuilt the AC compressor, the system was converted to R134a refrigerant, and fluids changed. In 2023, the owner began a comprehensive restoration including purchasing numerous Ferrari parts, rubber seals, glass scrub molding, windshield seals, headlamps seals etc. All the exterior trim parts were removed, the interior removed, and a glass out repaint including body and trim work was performed by Renown Restorations, San Antonio, TX totaling over $50,000.00. In 2024 the car was serviced with new spiral core ignition wires, new battery, a new MSD ignition box, and a new ignition switch.

Correct features include the proper hoses, lines, and correct fasteners, as well as correct air cleaner, proper black textured cam covers, and the original factory chassis plate. The engine has been fitted with an MSD ignition and spiral core spark plug wires which greatly improve performance and reliability. Outfitted with air conditioning from the factory, the system has been converted to R134a modern refrigerant, and the AC system blows efficiently delivering cold conditioned air throughout the cabin. The underside of the car is clean and well-tended with no visual evidence of structural compromise to the chassis floor, rocker panels, or main suspension mounting points. The car starts on command and settles into a smooth idle as operating temperatures rise to operational levels. Gentle blips of the throttle reveal crisp 4.4 Liter V12 sounds, and a sonorous exhaust note. Once seated inside, it’s immediately evident why these Ferraris have become favorites for those who enjoy driving with friends and family. The gearbox is easily engaged with good synchros, and the clutch has a very nice feel without the heaviness experienced in earlier Ferraris. Braking is excellent overall with firm pedal pressure even when coming down from higher speeds. The responsive Koni suspension delivers dynamic cornering in harmony with the variable ratio power steering, a feature that aids parking with helpful power assistance yet regulates a lighter touch once underway. And with your full attention at the wheel, the panoramic view, the lovely array of Veglia gauges nestled in the beautiful wood faced dash, and the open roadway vanishing beneath the fluid Pininfarina fenders make even a brief drive a memorable one. • 1964 Shelby 289 Cobra

By 1961, Carroll Shelby had established his reputation as a first-rank racing driver (having won LeMans outright in 1959 with co-pilot Roy Salvadori) and, ready to kick it up a notch, he set out to build his own racecar. Impressed by the combined agility and power of borrowed Cad-Allards, he set out to create the ultimate Anglo-American hybrid. AC Cars of Thames Ditton, England provided a nimble tubular frame and aluminum body from their Ace, highly reputed for its dexterity on the European circuit. Desirous of the visceral power of a Detroit V-8, Shelby persuaded Ford to furnish their short-stroke 260-cubic-inch engine to complete the perfect union. In 1962, a brilliant yellow Shelby Cobra was unveiled at the New York Motor Show. The prototype, chassis CSX 2000, weighed in at just 2,100 pounds and was campaigned across the United States, usually in a different color each weekend. In 1963, Shelby upped the ante with the Cobra Mk II, notably upgrading the original Cobra to rack-and-pinion steering and then with a high-output 289-cubic-inch V-8 capable of 271 horsepower. The new powerplant made the 289 Cobra capable of rocketing from 0-60 mph in under 6 seconds on its way to a 130-mph top speed. The superb power-to-weight ratio enabled the newcomer to record numerous, impressive victories on the international sportscar circuit while dominating SCCA racing, cementing Carrol Shelby’s place in the pantheon of American automotive luminaries. The Shelby 289 Cobra presented here was billed to Shelby American from AC Cars on 20 December 1963 and dispatched to Los Angeles 2 January 1964 aboard the SS Dongedyk. After receiving its engine and chassis upgrades from Shelby, CSX 2274 was invoiced to Noble Motor Company of Danville, Illinois on 20 March 1964. Factory-finished in white over black trim, the Cobra was equipped with the Class “A” accessory group including white-sidewall tires and no luggage rack, an outside rearview mirror, radio antenna, anti-freeze, plus the rare twin four-barrel carburetor option for a finished price of $5,943.25. The Shelby American Automobile Club Leaf Spring Cobra Registry reports that following CSX 2274’s arrival in Illinois, it was sold to its first owner, Clint Sandusky, Jr. in June of 1964. The car is then known to have been accepted on trade by Bill Watkins Ford of Scottsdale, Arizona at some point in 1970. In October 1972 James Wagner of Dayton, Ohio purchased the car, described at the time as “near concours condition… always garage-kept and stored winters.” CSX 2274 would grace the cover of the first Cobra World Registry in 1974 under Wagner’s ownership. Wagner added five-spoke American wheels and a hood scoop before selling the car in late 1975. The Cobra then passed through a series of caretakers and was repainted in its current, classic livery of blue with white stripes at a point in the 1980s. In the late 1990s, CSX 2274 landed in the esteemed Paul Montrone Bayberry Collection, where it would remain for over two decades. Importantly, the registry does not record any accidents, incidents, or unsightly modifications. In 2022, the Cobra was entrusted to noted marque specialists Rare Drive of East Kingston, New Hampshire for an extensive freshening. Accompanying service invoices document a full rebuild of the braking and suspension systems, engine tuning, and an extensive diagnosis of the fuel and electrical systems to ensure this Cobra performs correctly. Inspection of its chassis plate, which is believed to be original to the car, confirms that the car retains its numbers-matching engine. Likewise, stampings on the door and trunk latches match the chassis number. Benefitting from exhaustive mechanical sorting and a period-correct appearance, CSX 2274 would make an ideal entry into any number of vintage tours and rallies. It is accompanied by side curtains, convertible top and tonneau cover, a grease gun, jack, and spare wire wheel. Shelby 289 Cobras are rightly prized by true enthusiasts for their remarkable performance and superior agility, resulting in a famously visceral driving experience. This example, with rare specification and a known history from new, presents an excellent opportunity to become one of the lucky few to experience proper Cobra ownershi 1964 Shelby 289 Cobra RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. This example, with rare specification and a known history from new, presents an excellent opportunity to become one of the lucky few to experience proper Cobra ownershi Other Cars from RM Sotheby's 1994-Lamborghini-Diablo-SE30-01.webp 1994-Lamborghini-Diablo-SE30-02.webp 1994-Lamborghini-Diablo-SE30-20.webp 1994-Lamborghini-Diablo-SE30-01.webp 1/20 1994 Lamborghini Diablo SE30 RM Sotheby's United States 1964-Shelby-289-Cobra-01.webp 1964-Shelby-289-Cobra-02.webp 1964-Shelby-289-Cobra-20.webp 1964-Shelby-289-Cobra-01.webp 1/20 1964 Shelby 289 Cobra RM Sotheby's United States 1968-Lamborghini-Miura-P400-by-Bertone-01.webp 1968-Lamborghini-Miura-P400-by-Bertone-02.webp 1968-Lamborghini-Miura-P400-by-Bertone-15.webp 1968-Lamborghini-Miura-P400-by-Bertone-01.webp 1/15 1968 Lamborghini Miura P400 by Bertone RM Sotheby's United Kingdom Last Featured Cars 1973-Dino-246-GTS-01.jpg 1973-Dino-246-GTS-02.jpg 1973-Dino-246-GTS-15.jpg 1973-Dino-246-GTS-01.jpg 1/15 1973 Dino 246 GTS D.K.
