  • 1989 Porsche 911 Carrera 4

This 1989 Carrera 4 is from the first year of production for the 964 and is finished in Baltic Blue Metallic over a blue leather and cloth interior. Under the care of 4 owners from new, this Carrera 4 shows 83,987 km at the time of cataloging and is in excellent overall condition. This car is fitted with a 16” set of Porsche Design-90 wheels and looks great sitting at stock European ride height. One of the many firsts on the 964 was the now commonplace electronic rear spoiler, which raises and lowers based on speed or at the push of a button in the cabin. From the factory, this example was fitted with few options, making it more desirable among collectors today, thanks to its lighter weight and lack of complexity. One of the few things on the specifications sheet is a rear window wiper, which is extremely useful- especially if you plan to take advantage of the all-weather traction afforded by the all-wheel drive system. The interior of this Carrea is in beautiful condition and remains largely original throughout. The seats are wrapped in deep blue leather, but the centers are fitted with an elegant and comfortable Porsche branded cloth. As this is a first-year car, it was produced prior to the requirement for a driver airbag, meaning that it retains the 4-spoke steering wheel from the outgoing 3.2 Carrera, which both looks better and feels much nicer in the hands than the later unit. A modern Kenwood head unit has been installed which offers USB and AUX connection as well as a CD Player. In this car, air conditioning was fitted. The 964 was the first 911, and the A/C on an air-cooled 911 actually felt like it did something, offering plenty of cooling even on hot summer days. Sitting behind the passengers is a 3.6 liter naturally aspirated flat 6, rated at 247 horsepower and 228 lb-ft of torque. Although that doesn’t sound like much in modern terms, it was enough to propel the 964 from 0-60 mph in 5.5 seconds and on to a top speed in excess of 160 mph. This is then run through a 5-speed manual transaxle with power sent to all four wheels. This was the first Porsche outside of the 959 hypercar to be fitted with all-wheel drive, which made the car exceptionally surefooted in any weather but still gave a classic sports car experience thanks to the 31/69 front/rear power split. One of the largest changes on the 964 was the introduction of coil springs instead of the torsion bars that were fitted to all previous 911s. Using MacPherson struts up front and semi-trailing arms in the rear, the 964 offered more tunability and far more predictable handling at the limit. If you are in the market for a classic car that you can also drive daily, a 964 Carrera 4 checks essentially every box. A great driving car that is comfortable and convenient to use, with the added practicality of all-wheel drive, means that you can enjoy your fun car year-round. This example, presented in a fantastic color scheme and so well kept, will provide years of enjoyment for whoever is fortunate enough to park it in their garage. 1989 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 ISSIMI, Inc If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1970 Ferrari 365 GTC

The 330 GTC was replaced in 1968 by the superior 365 GTC. The styling remaining almost the same with differences being limited to non-vented front wings and the addition of new vents on the bonnet. The engine was, of course, an enlarged 4.4 Litre engine boasting more torque and horsepower. This vastly improved the performance of the car. The 365 GTC retained the independent rear suspension employing coil springs and wishbones, the same of its immediate predecessor, though this was a relatively recent departure for Ferrari. Brakes and transmission were also substantially improved to match the upgraded motor. Stopping power came from servo-assisted disc brakes all-round with a split circuit system. Integrating the gearbox with the final drive gave the car a balanced 50:50 weight distribution. A 365 GTC is a super rare and highly desirable beast with just 150 examples being built (including 22 UK RHD supplied examples) between the 1968 and 1970 with an on the road price when new of £7,900 (£1,384 more than the outgoing 275 GTB/4). First ordered by Maranello Concessionaires as a demonstrator for their UK dealership in 1970, this example is one of just 22 cars to be supplied new in RHD to the UK. Deviating from the usual specification of light blue for their demonstrators, this 365 GTC was ordered new in the rare period hue of Grigio Mahmoud, a dark grey with undertones of blue. A colour so good in fact, it would result in the car being chosen for the front cover of Autocar’s road test booklet! The history of this 365 GTC is known and documented from new. The impressive history file chronicles work carried out by each of the car’s owners, the mileage covered, and its registration numbers through time. The highlight of this detailed history is surely it’s comprehensively illustrated, concours-level, bare metal restoration by DK Engineering. This example found home with its first owner on 22nd May 1970, Mr D. Baigler of Wells Street, London. His ownership would see the car receive service work on no fewer than five documented occasions, intermittently throughout his 7 year and 17,500 mile ownership. The car would change hands in August of 1977, finding residence with Mr Paul Alexander, a close friend of DK's founder David Cottingham as well as a prominent collector and racer. He applied his personal registration mark to the car ‘PJN 1’ Over the course of the next 10 years, he would cover just under 20,000 miles with the car, servicing handled by various Ferrari specialists, including DK Engineering in its earliest years, who rebuilt the differential in 1980. 7 years later, Alexander transferred the car to his wife’s name for two years, covering an additional 1,100 miles or so and re-registering the car ‘PA 222’. By this time, the car had been refinished in Rosso retaining its Nero interior. During her custodianship, the car shared a garage with the ex-Lord Hesketh Porsche 911 3.0 RS! Succeeding this, the car once more passed into the very capable care of Mr Lentin, who at the time also owned a 340 America Vignale. Lentin would keep the car for 4 years and use the car sparingly, covering just 1,700 miles. In 1993, this 365 GTC was purchased by Mr Lochlann Quinn of Dublin who would own the car for 20 years. The car was purchased from Nicolas Mee and would be used frequently before resting up for a couple of years. In 2007, Bob Houghton tidied up the car cosmetically, re-chroming all 51 elements of the trim, as well as refinishing the car in a Grigio hue. In 2012, the car received its Ferrari red book Classiche certification which accompanies the history folio and original book pack today. The car was then purchased by DK's owner and founder David Cottingham in 2013, at which point he instigated a bare metal restoration with the business, creating arguably the finest 365 GTC extant. The merits of owning and founding a business with restoration so close to its heart, this 365 GTC received a degree of attention to detail and quality that was, and still is, unheard of on a GTC. The retail value of the work was in excess of £400,000. No stone was left unturned during the restoration, and we comprehensively documented the process. The car was stripped to bare metal, at which point we were able to find a sample of the car's original colour - which enabled us to repaint the car to exactly the correct shade. Following its restoration, David parted ways with the car to fund the ever-growing DK premises – only to buy the car back just one year later. David kept the car for three further years until selling to a close friend in 2020. David Cottingham jumped at the opportunity to own the car once more, as an example we have now known for 43 years! The history file is with the car and documents the history with invoices and photographs, as well as a copy of the ‘Autocar’ Roadtests booklet, the edition which this very 365 GTC features on the front cover. This car is also accompanied by its Ferrari red book Classiche Certification and original book pack. Having covered just 500 miles since restoration, this fabulous 365 GTC is available to view at our showrooms outside London by appointment. 1970 Ferrari 365 GTC D.K. Other Cars from D.K. • 1963 BMW 3200 CS by Bertone

When BMW unveiled the 3200 CS in 1961, it marked the end of an era. It was the final model powered by the 3,168-cc overhead-valve V-8, and the CS drew much of its DNA from the “Baroque Angel” BMWs of the 1950s. Yet with crisp Italian lines by Bertone’s rising star Giorgetto Giugiaro, the car also pointed to the future. The airy glasshouse, shark nose, and “Hofmeister kink” in the C-pillar established a design language that still influences the Munich marque today. An expensive and exclusive GT for wealthy enthusiasts, the 160 horsepower 200 km/h coupé sold in tiny numbers. During a three-year production run from 1962 to 1965, just 603 of these special Bertone-bodied four-seaters were produced; a mere 132 left the factory in 1963. The example offered here was first distributed in October 1963 via the Hamburg-based dealer, Fendler & Ludenmann, and remained in the German city with its first owner. The BMW stayed in Germany until 2008, when it was taken to Finland to join The Munich Masterpieces Collection. At an unknown point, the car’s engine has been replaced, while documents on file suggest that the odometer has also been changed. The 3200 CS is offered with its period Kraftfahrzeugbrief registration document from early German ownership. 1963 BMW 3200 CS by Bertone RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. This lovely Pagoda, equipped with an automatic gearbox, was completed on the 13th of October 1970 and first registered in the USA on the 1st of March 1971. According to the vendor, in 2014 the cabriolet, with then 89’000 miles driven, was acquired from its first owner from New Mexico and in April 2017 sold again to the current owner. After importation into Switzerland, the SL was extensively adapted to current Swiss requirements towards the end of 2017. Amongst other things all water hoses were replaced, new dampers installed front and back, the a/c received an overhaul, a stainless-steel exhaust system was installed together with an electronic ignition system and four new white-wall tyres were fitted at the same time. Receipts exceeding 30’000 Francs for all the work are available and will be handed over with the car. Later, the cabriolet received a new Sonnenland soft top in its original colour and in 2022 the gearbox was overhauled by a German specialist. With now 94’900 miles driven and still in its original combination of blue metallic with blue leather and a blue soft top, the matching-number (engine and gearbox) example with its hardtop is in technically very good condition, shows age correct signs of use and comes with the last Veteran MOT completed in April 2018. 1971 Mercedes-Benz 280SL Pagoda Oldtimer Galerie International GmbH If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. In 1966, Ferrari introduced a larger version of the Colombo twelve-cylinder engine with a displacement of 4.4 liters and a bore that was four millimeters larger than its predecessor. The displacement of a single cylinder was now approximately 365 cubic centimeters. This value became the basis for the model designations of the vehicles equipped with this engine. As a result of the increase in displacement, the engine power rose to 320 hp. The engine made its debut in 1966 in the 365 California Spyder, a luxury convertible produced in very limited numbers, which featured a distinctive, sensational body designed by Tom Tjaarda. In a second step, Ferrari presented the 365 GT 2+2 in 1967 as a 2+2-seater variant of the model family. This was Ferrari's first four-seater road sports car with rear independent suspension. In view of its size and weight, the 365 GT 2+2 was also referred to in the press as the Queen Mary. The vehicle on offer, with chassis number 13221, was delivered probably to Italy in 1972 and imported to Switzerland in 1973, where it was registered in March of that year. The history of the Queen Mary is unknown until it was purchased by a Ferrari specialist in June 2012. Subsequently, the bodywork and interior were restored by Italian specialists Zanasi and Lupi – unfortunately, there is no documentation of the work, but the vehicle speaks for itself. The mechanics were checked in-house and overhauled where necessary. In the summer of 2025, the Ferrari was taken over by the consignor, who wishes to part with his Grand Tourismo for space reasons. The 365 is in very good condition, the engine runs very nicely, and the gearbox shifts well. • 1961 Maserati 3500 GT 1

Subject to a six year no expense spared restoration Full matching numbers Highly desirable Series II, benefitting from early body styling, factory fitted 5 speed ZF gearbox and disc brakes Formerly part of an extensive private collection Gleaming Borrani wire wheels One of the very best available Finished in Ice Green metallic coachwork with light Tan Nappa hide. Carpets leather bound and trimmed to match the main hide, quilted gearbox tunnel, painted dashboard and speedo binnacle to twin the coachwork – exquisite. Fitment of gleaming Borrani wire wheels with embossed two ear spinners and Marchal twin spot lamps gives the GT an air of importance to the trained eye Being a 61, this example benefits from the panache and exquisite detail and flare Touring had styled to the early body design twinned with the fitment of the highly regarded ZF 5 speed manual gearbox and all round disc brakes – which transformed the car into cross country tourer. This particular example is well known to DD Classics as we had the pleasure of supplying to its most recent of owners in 2013 and we have the great delight in presenting it for a second turn. Prior to the GT arriving in Great Britain the car had been in the hands of a long term Dutch owner where during their Stewardship the vehicle was the beneficiary of a no expense spared full mechanical and body restoration over a 6 year period – first rate. There had been a huge amount of work and research gone into the restoration works down to the smallest of details – when these cars where new they had been fitted with a distinctive boot mat and even this has been made correctly through a specialist company in Germany – a refection of how meticulous the restoration works were. A number of improvements and upgrades have been carried out in the restoration process to aid and improve the drivability and performance. Wire wheels: Hand made by the best, Borrani of Milano aluminium wire wheels with embossed two ear spinners. Cooling: Uprated cooling system, water pump, larger radiator and concealed electric cooling fan to aid running in slow traffic. Exhaust system: Custom hand made full stainless exhaust system running from the tail pipe to manifold – tremendous detail. Steering: EZ power steering – giving the option to adjust to suit all. The star that saved the company: Maserati was not known for building beautiful GT cars in the 1950’s. Racing was the primary interest of the automotive division of Officine Alfieri Maserati S.p.A. and the car and motorcycle portions of the company were actually secondary to the machine tool business that brought in the real money. But times were hard at Maserati and in April 1958 the company was placed in the hands of a receiver for reorganisation. Part of that reorganisation was to turn the car division towards building luxury touring cars and the first was the 3500GT. The star was unveiled to the motoring world at the 1957 Geneva Auto Show on the stand of the body constructor – Superleggera Touring Milan. The GT went into production later that year and continued until 1964 when production ceased with a total of 1972 vehicle built world wide 1961 Maserati 3500 GT DD CLASSICS If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. The GT went into production later that year and continued until 1964 when production ceased with a total of 1972 vehicle built world wide Other Cars from DD CLASSICS 1961-MASERATI-3500GT-GRAN-TURISMO-SERIES-II-01.jpg 1961-MASERATI-3500GT-GRAN-TURISMO-SERIES-II-02.jpg 1961-MASERATI-3500GT-GRAN-TURISMO-SERIES-II-20.webp 1961-MASERATI-3500GT-GRAN-TURISMO-SERIES-II-01.jpg 1/20 1961 Maserati 3500 GT DD CLASSICS United Kingdom Last Featured Cars 1992-Subaru-SVX-01.webp 1992-Subaru-SVX-02.webp 1992-Subaru-SVX-10.webp 1992-Subaru-SVX-01.webp 1/10 1992 Subaru SVX DLS Automobile Germany 1990-Porsche-911-964-Carrera-RS-IROC-Evocation-01.webp 1990-Porsche-911-964-Carrera-RS-IROC-Evocation-02.webp 1990-Porsche-911-964-Carrera-RS-IROC-Evocation-15.webp 1990-Porsche-911-964-Carrera-RS-IROC-Evocation-01.webp 1/15 1990 Porsche 911 964 Carrera RS IROC Evocation Classic Connection United Kingdom 1964-Alfa-Rome-TZ-01.jpg 1964-Alfa-Rome-TZ-02.jpg 1964-Alfa-Rome-TZ-20.jpg 1964-Alfa-Rome-TZ-01.jpg 1/20 1964 Alfa Romeo TZ Oldtimer Galerie International GmbH Switzerland

  • 1988-maserati-biturbo-spyder

Alejandro de Tomaso had a bold vision for Maserati when he acquired the ailing manufacturer in 1976, with a strategy focussing on a more affordable sports car range called Biturbo. As implied, the Biturbo had a twin-turbocharged V6 engine of Maserati's own design, and in 1984 Zagato was commissioned to develop a Spyder variant. The wheelbase was shortened by some 114mm to create a strict two-seater with compact proportions, and with a manual transmission and endless torque from the world's first production twin turbocharged engine, the Spyder lived up to the famous trident badge. Today, the Biturbo Spyder is a tasteful under-the-radar alternative for those wanting a high performance modern classic roadster. Finished in Maserati Rosso Red with Beige Nuvalato hide, this particular Biturbo was supplied new on 3rd November 1988 by appointed agents Grayshott Motor Company in Hindhead to its first owner residing in Guildford, specified with the optional Lattice Spoke alloy wheels adding the final touch to this outstanding Spyder. He obviously enjoyed the Maserati as he retained the car for 14 years until 2002 although it was used sparingly as part of his collection. It was clearly well maintained during that period illustrated by its interesting history file containing an MOT trace backing up the incredibly low mileage which, at time of viewing, was just 2,672. With a change of ownership in 2002, the Maserati moved to another private collection, residing for some 13 years in Marbella and again maintained as required to ensure that it was on the button should the decision be made to enjoy an impromptu trip to the golf club. It should also be noted at this time that the car was never registered in Spain and is still recorded on the DVLA register as having had no former keepers. Returning to the UK in 2024, the Maserati was subject to a full health check by marque specialists, with all belts replaced along with a general recommissioning of all components where deemed necessary before being placed within another private collection and used sparingly, once again retaining the exceptionally low recorded mileage. The Biturbo Spyder is a quick, stylish and very affordable Latin 'junior' supercar that will, with proper maintenance, provide many years of reliable and immensely rewarding driving. Such is the rarity of this beautiful example, bearing in mind the exceptionally low mileage, we strongly recommend your early inspection at the NEC to fully appreciate the opportunity on offer. 1988 Maserati Biturbo Spyder Iconic Auctioneers Ltd If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1990 Alfa Romeo Spider

Introduced in 1990, the Alfa Romeo Spider 2.0i (4th generation) continues the legacy of the iconic Spider roadster. It is a charming and agile sports car that combines timeless design elements, clean lines and open-air driving pleasure. The 1990 versions are less prone to corrosion and the power steering, which became standard, as well as the electric windows provide comfort that can be appreciated by all. Please welcome this beautiful exemplar of the Alfa Romeo Spider 4th generation, painted in metallic silver grey with a beige interior. Of Italian origin, the roadster was registered for the first time in Belgium in 2003 with only 38,000 km on the odometer. It was purchased by its last owner in February 2019 and registered as an ancestor, being used very occasionally. The black soft top, which is known to be easy and quick to handle, is here complemented by an optional hard-top in assorted grey that allows the Spider to be used in winter. The charismatic 2.0L inline-four engine produces 126 hp and offers sufficient performance for a cruising convertible. Thanks to its low mileage, this Alfa Romeo Spider is in very good condition. It comes with its original service book. A major maintenance has just been carried out on the vehicle. The upholstery and carpeting were replaced in 2024… In order words, the Spider has found a new lease of life and is ready to hit the road again. So, if you are one of the many enthusiasts who appreciate its timeless look, give us a call and come to see it in real. We are located 5 min away from the Brussels airport. 1990 Alfa Romeo Spider AD Sportscars If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. The notice and take down procedure is described here: https://www.speedholics.com/copyright Introduced in 1990, the Alfa Romeo Spider 2.0i (4th generation) continues the legacy of the iconic Spider roadster.
