- 1969 Maserati Mexico 4200 Vignale
First registration 09.1969 Matching numbers Maserati Classiche certified Only 305 built Swiss road registration with veteran entry The Maserati Mexico 4200 Vignale Coupé offered here is one of only 305 built. It was ordered at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1969, produced in May 1969 in Argento Auteuil color and Connolly nera (black) leather, and later delivered to a customer in France through the Maserati dealer Thépenier in Saint-Cloud. The car has been in Switzerland since 1990 and last owned for over 20 years. It has always been perfectly maintained and everything has been done without regard to cost. The last owner alone invested over CHF 130’000 in the car. This beautiful Maserati Mexico 4200 Vignale Coupé is matching numbers, Maserati Classiche certified and is, in the color Celeste Chiaro Metallizzato, on original Borrani spoke rims with center locks and freshly veteran-approved with new tires, in top maintained and very original collector condition. The original Becker Mexico radio/tape and original tool bag including jack come with the car as well as the original owner’s manual and a binder full of receipts and invoices including the factory purchase order and Maserati delivery papers from the period. At the 1966 Paris Motor Show, Maserati unveiled the Mexico, a four-seat luxury GT coupe with notchback and eight-cylinder V-engine. The car was built like the Quattroporte, but the first prototype was derived from a damaged 5000 GT, so it was equipped with a 4.9-liter engine. As a true 4-seater, the Mexico had a very elegant body, designed in-house by Vignale. Unlike Maserati’s other 4-seater coupes, the model’s name did not derive from a racetrack, but was chosen because the prototype – which was once in the hands of Mexican President Adolfo López Mateos in the form of the 5000 GT – returned to Mexico after being presented at the 1965 Turin auto show. Fitting into this picture, although it was pure coincidence, was that John Surtees ended the 1966 Formula One season with a magnificent victory in the Mexican Grand Prix at the wheel of a Cooper-Maserati T81. The Mexico was finally launched at the 1966 Paris Motor Show. Customers could choose between two engines – with 4.2 or 4.7 liters of displacement, which also powered the Quattroporte. The chassis, on the other hand, was derived from the Quattroporte model series with a wheelbase shortened by eleven centimeters. 1969 Maserati Mexico 4200 Vignale Lutziger Classic Cars AG If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera
The Porsche 911 is one of the most recognizable and successful sports cars in the world. Since its inception in 1964, the 911 has gone through numerous iterations, each building upon the original formula and giving the world a pure driving experience. They are notable for continuing the tradition of having air-cooled, rear-mounted engines until 1997, being one of the last models to make the switch to water cooling. The 911 has also seen success in racing, with both private and factory teams modifying the cars and achieving a plethora of podium finishes. The G-Series 911 was produced until 1989, with engine displacements and numerous other factors changing throughout the years. The last version of the G-Series 911 generation came with model year 1984 and was dubbed the 3.2 Carrera, reviving the “Carrera” nameplate last used in 1977. As the name suggests, the model introduced a new 3.2-liter flat-6 engine that put out 207 hp in the North American market through a five-speed manual transmission. The disc brakes were bigger to help with heat dissipation, while improved oil-fed chain tensioners kept the bigger engine well-fed. A finned cooler was also added to improve oil cooling. The new L-Jetronic Fuel Injection System with Bosch Motronics 2 DME further improved the driving experience as well as the engine’s overall reliability. The Carrera 3.2 was available as either a coupé, targa, or cabriolet. A total of 76,473 examples of the 911 3.2 were produced, with 35,670 coupés, 19,987 cabriolets, and 18,468 targas. This particular example, Chassis # WP0AB0911ES122095, was built on September 14, 1984, in a fairly rare Kiln Red over a contrasting black leather interior. Today, this car remains in outstanding original condition and shows just under 29,000 miles from new. It contains almost entirely original paint, a wonderful original interior with desirable sport seats, and rock-solid, well-maintained mechanicals. The extensive optional equipment list includes a speedometer with two scales, a Blaupunkt Monterey radio, automatic rear 2-point seat belts, increased side door strength, license brackets, forged alloy wheels, leather sport seats, cruise control, black roof liner, front and rear spoilers, sport shock absorbers, “symbols for controls,” an alarm system, and an electric sliding sunroof. Three items removed from the factory car were the compressor & tire pressure gauge, rear fog lights, and vehicle identification plate. It was sold new just a month later by Continental Porsche of Portland, OR to its first owner. According to the CARFAX report and a sales listing from 2017, the car was garaged in 2002 with 26,000 miles on the odometer. It spent the next 15 years in that garage before being acquired by a now-defunct dealership in Los Angeles, CA. Their team proceeded to remove the engine, recondition it with a major overall service, and fit a new engine bay insulation pad. The clutch and pressure plate were replaced, the braking system was overhauled, the gas tank and its lines were cleaned, all of the fluids were flushed, and all new belts and tires were installed. This Porsche was then purchased sometime in 2018 by a fellow Oregon resident. In November 2019, they brought it to Matrix Integrated in Portland, OR who replaced several fuses and secured the horn button. The CARFAX reported a new owner in February 2020, also based in Oregon. In August 2020, they too brought the Porsche to Matrix Integrated for an oil change, an AC recharge with R134a, new rear hatch struts, and a brake system flush. That same month, the car was offered for sale by Grand Prix Motors of Portland, OR, and later headed to its new owner in California. In May 2021, this 911 visited Sublime Silverlake, an independent Porsche shop in Los Angeles, CA. It was treated to a new European-style headlight assembly, new headlight rims, H4 LED lights, a support ring for the steering shaft bearing, and the timing chain cover gaskets. It returned in January 2022 for an oil change, clutch adjustment, belt tension and idle adjustment, as well as the installation of the original Blaupunkt radio. Porsches of this vintage continue to be desirable models on the market. This specific one benefits from being a fantastic original car with under 30,000 miles on the odometer and a plethora of optional equipment from the factory. The rare Kiln Red paint is all-original save for the rear bumper, which has been re-sprayed. All of the factory stickers remain in their stock locations, while the original interior presents very well and retains its factory sport seats. This 911 is sure to turn heads at any car event it attends, while the lengthy option sheet and originality will awe any Porsche enthusiasts who lay eyes on it. It’s the best of both worlds! Upon purchase, the new owner will receive the original owner’s manuals, the service book with option code sticker and eight service stamps, the factory spare, the original toolkit, jack, and air pump, as well as an extra set of keys and available service documentation. THE DETAILS EXTERIOR Body And Paint The Kiln Red exterior color is a fantastic compliment to the classic lines of this Carrera. The paint appears to be largely original throughout the car, metering consistent across the entirety of the exterior, with the exception of the rear bumper, which appears to have been re-sprayed at some point in the car’s life. Given the original nature of the paint, there are minor imperfections that come with the territory. Most of these are relegated to small stone chips, some of which have been touched up in the front section of the car. There is also a small crack in the edge of the whale tail spoiler on the driver's side, but it does not appear to be structurally compromised. The mirrors contain stereotypical stone peppering, some of which has been touched up. There is a small section on the passenger side door with four little spots of paint rub through. There is also a small hairline scratch just in front of the passenger rear tail light. There is a bit of scratching to the drip rail above the driver-side door, likely from entry and egress. Overall, the paint contains excellent color throughout the vehicle, with a smooth and consistent finish to the color. Given its original nature, the paint has held up remarkably well. The body itself is straight and clean down the sides with no issues to note. The gaps are all extremely tight, and fitment throughout the car is spot on, as you would expect with a vehicle of this low mileage. Glass And Trim The glass throughout the car appears to be all original, with the proper Sekurit stampings on each of the side panes and the rear window. The front windshield is stamped Sigla, as it should be. All the glass is clean and clear, with no issues present and no deamination showing. The black trim surrounding the windows is in great condition, with a smooth finish and excellent fitment. The rubber trim throughout the car remains in fantastic condition with great color and a nice supple nature. The accordions on the sides of the bumpers, often a common issue with these vehicles, fit nicely and show excellent color. There is some minor scratching to the lower lip as well as on the bumper over riders on the rear of the car. There is a small stone chip in the black trim on the bottom edge of the windshield, as well as a few more minor stone chips here and there on the windshield surround. Wheels The wheels are the correct five-spoke Fuch wheels with painted centers and polished lips. They remain in excellent condition with clean, polished surfaces and smooth painted centers and lugs. There are a few minor stone chips on the painted faces, but the wheels appear to likely be the original finish as well, given the overall mileage of the car. The center caps contain a bit of fading, but overall, they tie into the original nature of the car fantastically. Notable Flaws Given the highly original nature of this Carrera, there are inherent flaws that come with the territory, largely relegated to small stone chips in high traffic and wear areas such as the front of the vehicle. There are also some minor scratches, but nothing that takes away from the overall quality and character of the car, especially given its highly original nature. Please review the photos in detail to truly understand the exact condition of this vehicle. INTERIOR Seats And Surfaces The interior of this car presents in excellent original condition. Overall, the interior is very in line with the mileage and careful ownership that this car has received. The sport seats with their deep bolsters show in excellent condition with just a small bit of patina developing in the form of minor creasing and light patina to the bolsters on the driver's side, as well as some very minor creasing to the seating surface on the driver's side seat. The passenger side seat has fared remarkably well and shows minimal wear. The rear seats are also in excellent condition and have seen minimal usage. The leather-covered dash has a bit of warping where it meets the windshield and some pulling around the vent located in the center of the dash. None of this, however, takes away from the excellent and well-preserved nature of the interior. The driver-side door shows a bit of scratching from entry and exit when pulling the handle. The carpets retain excellent color and weave as well as fitment. The headliner remains nice and tight and shows no issues whatsoever. The three spokes steering wheel remains in fantastic condition with clean stitching and a nice smooth center horn button. The rim has just a bit of scratching, mainly relegated to the lower section of it, likely from normal usage. The gauges all remain clean and clear with excellent color, visibility, and readability. The original unleaded fuel-only sticker is still attached to the fuel gauge, and the dash is adorned with the sticker, indicating how to use the cruise control. The remainder of the buttons, switches, and knobs throughout the cabin show to be in excellent condition with bright, clean, and clear graphics. Functionality And Accessories Everything on the interior appears to function as it should during our brief testing. The gauges all read their requisite functions as they should, the doors open and close with ease, and the power windows roll up and down smoothly. The shifter moves easily through its range of motion, and the overhead lights, situated above the doors, illuminate when the doors are opened. The HVAC system appears to function as it should, although extensive testing was not carried out. The glove box light works, as it should illuminating when the door is opened. The power-operated sunroof also moves forward and backward with ease, as it should. Overall it appears everything on the interior has received the proper attention it needed and remains in good order. ENGINE BAY AND TRUNK Engine Bay The engine bay remains in good original condition, much like the rest of the vehicle. Factory markings and stickers adorn the entirety of the engine bay. Correct components were utilized when servicing the engine, and from an exterior perspective, it appears that there are no issues to speak of. The oil cooler located on the underside of the lid is in good condition, with only a few misaligned fins. Oftentimes, these coolers can get very beat up, but this one remains in good condition. Factory spot welds are clearly present around the edges of the engine bay. The whale tail spoiler has its proper Porsche crest and insignia located just below the rubber lip. Overall, it is a very genuine and original engine bay that shows to have had the proper servicing and upkeep throughout its lifetime. Trunk Area The front trunk area is, likewise, in good order. The carpets are a bit baggy, but overall fitment is acceptable, and the weave and color are still in good order. One of the snaps has separated from the side carpeting on the passenger side, but the remaining snaps all appear to be in good order. Lifting the carpet reveals a clean and tidy front trunk area with a factory space saver spare that appears to have seen minimal if any, use ever. The color designation sticker, as well as the Vin stamp, are clearly present, and there are factory markings throughout the bulk of the front trunk area as well. Lifting the lid to the blower box reveals no issues to speak of, and factory markings are present here as well. The underside of the hood is clean and tidy and contains the proper options code sticker. Underside The underside of this car presents very genuinely and in line with the mileage. There are some minor rock chips on the undersides of the rear quarter panels behind the wheels. The wheel wells appear a touch dirty but very genuine and original. The rockers are in good order, with no creasing or issues to be noted. There is a small dent just above the front license plate mounting hole on the passenger side, but it has not broken the paint. Suspension components show no issues but do have a bit of road dirt accumulation on them. It is our opinion that this car would benefit greatly from a good dry ice cleaning on the underside, which would no doubt reveal fantastic factory finishes throughout. Overall, though, the underside remains genuine and honest and appears in line with the great original nature of the rest of the vehicle. It does not show to have any issues past or present. MECHANICALS Engine The 3.2 L flat-six engine fires to life with ease and has the stereotypical air-cooled Porsche growl. It settles into a smooth idle as the temperature climbs and shows no issues in its running nature. Out on the road, this car makes excellent power in a superb linear nature. There are no flat spots or stumbling in acceleration, and the car pulls wonderfully throughout the entire rev range. It is very clear, given the excellent running nature of the engine, that this car has received the proper servicing and care throughout its lifetime. Transmission The 5-speed transmission shifts easily through the gears and engages each gear properly. It does take some getting used to driving these earlier gearboxes as the shifting has to be a bit more deliberate in order to smoothly find gears when traveling at pace. The clutch feels strong and responsive, and it has proper take-up and excellent feedback. Overall, there are no issues to note here and the car drives wonderfully. Brakes And Suspension The suspension feels extremely tight, much like it must have when this car was new. It holds the road excellently and provides fantastic feedback. The steering is light and nimble, and there are no odd road noises or behaviors to speak of. The brakes bring the car to a smooth and controlled stop with no issues to note. Overall, this car drives immaculately and is truly a joy to be behind the wheel. Tires The tires are Bridgestone Penza RE970AS pole positions on all four corners. The rears are 225/50R16 with date codes of 2016. The front also have the codes of 2016 and our sized 205/55/R16. Even though the tires contain nice supple sidewalls and ample tread, if extended use is to be carried out, we would recommend putting a new set of tires on given the age of the current ones. DRIVING EXPERIENCE As you approach this car, you are greeted first by the fantastic color of the Kiln Red exterior, which compliments the classic flowing lines of this Carrera wonderfully. As you look closer, you notice the wonderful original nature of the car, which lends itself perfectly to driving and enjoying this air-cooled beauty, which is exactly what this car is best at. The engine feels incredibly strong, and the suspension is tight and compliant with light and nimble steering. Oftentimes, these cars can feel a bit sloppy, but this example remains extremely tight and feels much like it must have when new. The well-optioned interior with the bucketed sports seats is a pleasant place to pilot this wonderful car from. There are many 911s out there, but this one, with its thoroughly original nature and rare-colored exterior, presents a unique opportunity to have the perfect drivers 911 that will turn heads no matter where you go. 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera LBI Limited If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. The notice and take down procedure is described here: https://www.speedholics.com/copyright The Porsche 911 is one of the most recognizable and successful sports cars in the world. - 1966 Shelby 427 Cobra 1
Slotting a Ford V-8 engine into the chassis of an AC Ace proved to be a brilliant idea for Carroll Shelby. The thundering Cobra—rooted in the impressive racing career and boundless grit of its creator—singlehandedly vaulted Ford Motor Company’s corporate racing program onto the international stage and marked a crucial step in its eventual dominance over archrival Ferrari at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the 1960s. Under Shelby’s leadership, and with the help of a dream team of racing luminaries that included Ken Miles, Phil Remington, Pete Brock, and many others, Ford-powered Cobras won virtually anywhere and everywhere they raced. Brutally fast and dead-reliable, the Cobra clinched the US Manufacturer’s Championship three years running—in 1963, 1964, and 1965—and with sleek Pete Brock-designed Daytona Coupe bodywork, Shelby American Inc. won the hotly contested 1965 FIA World Manufacturer’s Championship. Uncompromising and fiercely aggressive on the racetrack, the 289 Cobra, with its 289-cubic-inch V-8, was an instant icon, yet Shelby knew that to stay competitive, it was essential to continually increase power. Enter Ford’s mighty 427 engine: a big-block monster of almost otherworldly power. Shelby was initially promised a new aluminum-block version of Ford’s 390 FE engine, but corporate infighting at Dearborn left him with an allotment of the heavier cast-iron-block 427. The new Cobra creation debuted at the 12 Hours of Sebring in 1964, driven by Ken Miles. While early handling challenges clearly needed addressing, the tremendous performance potential was unmistakable. Shelby’s team then set about creating a chassis capable of handling the 427-cubic-inch behemoth’s increased power and weight. The revised design featured a four-inch tube frame and seven-inch wider body with larger fenders. Using the same computer as on the GT40, Ford engineers crafted a highly sophisticated coil-over suspension, all within the original 90-inch wheelbase. Dubbed the 427 Cobra in a staff meeting on 7 April 1965, Shelby’s big-block beasts were never mass-produced, with just over 300 built. The cars were incomprehensibly fast, and driving one today is as mind-bending of an experience as ever. Built in May of 1966, chassis number CSX 3237 was originally finished in red with a black interior and fitted with a 428-cubic-inch Cobra Jet V-8 engine. The car’s first known owner was J. Rhoades Moore of Enid, Oklahoma, according to the Shelby American Automobile Club Registry. The car remained with Moore until it was sold to another Oklahoma-based owner, French Hickman, in the early 1970s, at which time it was reported to have been refinished in blue. In the 1980s, CSX 3237 was refinished in red and equipped with a handful of updates, including an oil cooler, hood scoop, quick jacks, black side pipes, and custom roll bar. Passing through a few subsequent owners, the car was finally purchased by Phil Combs of California in December of that year. At that time the car was sent to renowned Cobra restorer Mike McCluskey for a full restoration to factory-original specification. Afterwards CSX 3237 was sold to an owner in Japan in the 1990s, where it remained for a few years before returning to the United States. Purchased by noted collector David Fonvielle in the mid-2010s, CSX 3237 was shipped to the renowned Cobra specialists at Curt Vogt’s Cobra Automotive in Wallingford, Connecticut for another full restoration. No expense was spared in bringing this Cobra to brilliant condition, with the goal of not only creating a show winner but also making it ready to drive and enjoy on long-distance tours at a moment’s notice. All original components were rebuilt or upgraded during the restoration, and the car was fitted with proper leather seats, correct Wilton carpeting, the original steering wheel and air splitter, as well as custom exhaust headers. After the engine was rebuilt for high performance and touring, a dyno test showed 460 brake horsepower at the crankshaft. Acquired by the consignor in July of 2021, CSX 3237 has remained incredibly well cared for with very few miles driven under current ownership. It rides on original Sunburst wheels with Avon tires and includes a spare in the trunk. Notably, the car is accompanied by a convertible top with irons, side curtains, tonneau cover, reproduction owner’s manual, jack, grease gun, a can of paint, a spare set of Halibrand-style wheels mounted with tires, and a spare 428-cu.-in. Cobra Jet engine, the block for which has a date code that is correct for this model year of Cobra. A true performance-car icon in every sense, this well-prepared 427 Cobra will surely excel at whatever its next owner has in store, be it long-distance cruising or the concours lawn. 1966 Shelby 427 Cobra RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1989 Porsche 930
Original Dutch delivered Porsche 930 Turbo 3.3 liter with 5-Speed gearbox (G50) Delivered new by Porsche Centrum Eindhoven Special Paint to sample color: Satin black metallic with all-leather black interior 1 of 797 units built This Porsche 930 is in absolute new condition… perfected in detail by the previous owner The Porsche 911 Turbo is admired by many for being the one and only supercar suitable for everyday use. Building on the 911 mantra, the Turbo seamlessly blends functionality with performance and takes it to a new level by adding explosive power, eye-catching design features and advanced technology to the mix. It’s the ultimate all-rounder 911 with style and elegance in droves. It is a model of mythical proportions and was the fastest production car on the market at the time. Like the 911 itself, the Porsche Turbo has experienced consistent evolution over its 43-year production run, rather than total revolution. This is especially true of the Turbo’s early years, when it was more commonly referred to by its internal model designation of ”930” from 1975 to 1989. In those 14 years, the 930 evolved from a fast performance weapon to a somewhat more advanced supercar. Over the years she got faster, of course, but the Turbo also became more efficient and easier to drive. From its humbler beginnings as a 3.0-litre four-speed ”whale tale” rated at 260bhp in the 1970s, the 930 had morphed into an intercooled 3.3-litre with a power of 300 hp. In its last year of production, 1989, the 930 received a 5-speed gearbox. That is why the 930s produced in 1989 are the most sought after. The five-speed gearbox makes better use of the explosive power of the Turbo. 1989 Porsche 930 JamesEdition B.V. If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1963 Chevrolet Corvette C2 "Sting Ray"
The Corvette C1 was the first generation of the Corvette sports car produced by Chevrolet. It was decided that Chevrolet needed a two seater sports car to satisfy a growing market which had mainly been dominated by European imports of Jaguars, Alfa Romeos, Mercedes and MG’s. Chevrolet’s designer Harley Earl began design work, and a pre-production Corvette prototype was first shown to the public in January 1953 at General Motors Motorama event in New York city. The car proved to be an instant success and went onto be Americas most popular sports car of the time. It was decided that after a decade in production a replacement car was necessary. This tough task was given to Chevrolet chief designer Bill Mitchell and stylist Larry Shinoda, to improve on a living legend. Not only did they succeed but their creation turned into a modern classic and they created the most collectible of all the Corvettes. Introduced in 1963 the new “Sting Ray” sported many new styling features including pivoting hidden headlamps, new interior, suspension and engine upgrades including the 327 CU Inch – 5360cc engine. The Chevrolet Corvette C2 Convertible offered for sale at Autostorcio is a 1963 example – chassis number 308675115069. She is finished in Red with a Black hood and Black leather interior. This stunning example was purchased by its current owner in 2010 and brought into the United Kingdom in 2016. Having been exceptionally well maintained with recent works including an engine bay detail along with new carpets carried out by GP Customs. Equipped with Manual four speed transmission, Heater and Rare factory hardtop. Supplied with a comprehensive file including Current V5 registration document, Invoices, MOTs and various other related material. This is the perfect opportunity to own an iconic Corvette which will certainly appreciate further over time. 1963 Chevrolet Corvette C2 "Sting Ray" Autostorico Partners LLP If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1995 Ferrari F50 1
Following in the footsteps of the fabled F40, Ferrari’s F50 was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 1995. Hugely influenced by Formula 1 design and technology at the time, at the F50 heart was a naturally aspirated V-12 engine derived from Ferrari’s 642 F1 car, campaigned during the 1991 Formula 1 World Championship. With 512 bhp on tap, its Formula 1 origins and 8,000 rpm redline made the engine truly sonorous when driven as its manufacturers intended. Top speed was claimed as being 202 mph and from a standstill, the F50 would sprint to 60 mph from a standstill in 3.8 seconds. As if its performance wasn’t enough, what truly set the F50 apart from its competitors at the time was its open-top body style, allowing buyers to choose from the closed comfort of a Berlinetta or the thrill of an open-top sports car, and no open-top sports car on sale at the time could match the sheer performance of the F50. Top-down, the driving experience that the F50 provided its lucky driver and passenger was a close as one could get to driving a road-legal Formula 1 car. Only 349 examples would be built, far fewer than the F40 that preceded it. This example is one just 4 cars to have been sold new to South Africa and the story with how it landed with its first owner, quite remarkable. In the late 1980s, Leonard Smith had been working for the South African postal service with very little to his name. He received a phone call from the UK, stating that a long lost and distant relative had passed away and he was due to inherit a significant amount of money. At the time, Smith did not have the money needed to travel to the U.K., but his best friend stepped forward and paid for the trip. The inheritance was significant and lifechanging. When he returned to South Africa, he had close to 800m Rand to his name; the exchange rate at the time of 4 Rand to £1. Leonard bought himself his first Ferrari in 1991, a 328 GTS from T.A.K Motor Co. Ltd. Pty. of Johannesburg, South Africa. Soon after he visited the factory in Italy and collected a 512TR. Having missed out on the opportunity to purchase an F40 new, Smith was invited to the launch of the F50 on 6th March 1995 which attended and greatly enjoyed. Just four days after the launch, he penned a letter requesting allocation of the F50 and outlining his intentions to start a small collection. Leonard Smith would lead a very secluded life. His close friend who had paid for the trip to the UK designed his house where the cars were to be kept. The F50 was kept in a large garage alongside his first Ferrari, the 328 GTS and the 512TR, along with a 355 Challenge and a 348 Spider. The cars were used sparingly and never during the day. Smith instead chose to drive the cars after dark, and his neighbours reported they would hear him leaving home around 11pm at night. After his passing in 2012, the cars were auctioned by LRA Auctioneers & Appraisers and the car moved to its second custodian who owned the car from 2012 until purchase by DK Engineering in November 2022. In the care of its second owner the car has seen very limited use whilst still receiving due services from Ferrari South Africa. Since 2012 in fact, the car has covered just 400 kilometres. Prior to departure from South Africa, a major service including the replacement of the fuel tank. Upon arrival at DK, the car has once more received a thorough inspection. This incredible two owner example has covered just 3,485 Miles (5,608 kms) from new. Presenting superbly and both low use and a sunnier climate ensured the underside is immaculate. This example is accompanied by its flight case, build book, original books and original torch. 16.02.1998 – First service – T.A.K. Motor Co Ltd. Pty. The notice and take down procedure is described here: https://www.speedholics.com/copyright Following in the footsteps of the fabled F40, Ferrari’s F50 was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 1995. The Mercedes-Benz SL of the type R107. Cars with a timeless beauty. This R107 is an original German delivered car, but only in the Netherlands since 2002. In the Netherlands it has had 3 owners with its smooth engine and fantastic build quality. The SL is rust and damage free. The mudguards, seams, trunk lid and door sills are completely intact. The interior of this well-maintained R107 is also in good condition. The interior always says a lot about a car, with this R107 we see that it has always been well cared for! The consumption is around 11 liters per 100 kilometers. Of course a bit much by today's politically correct standards, but for a car from 1986 with a big six engine that is not exaggerated. - 1953 Aston Martin DB 2 Vantage
The Aston Martin DB2 Sports Car debuted at the April 1950 New York motor show and remained in production until 1953 with 411 cars being produced. Available in either a two seat Coupe or Convertible form. Power came from Aston Martin Lagonda’s twin overhead camshaft 2.6 litre six cylinder engine which produced an impressive 125bhp. This in turn would propel the car from 0-60mph in just over 11 secs and onto 116mph. The Aston Martin DB2 Vantage offered here at Autostorico is finished in Maroon Red with Red leather interior. This original RHD example was supplied new to its first owner in 1953 by Aston Martin, Wimborne, Dorset. Chassis No: LML/50/213 spent its early years in Belgium before being shipped to North America returning to the UK in 2013, when its current owner an avid Aston Martin fan purchased it. Since then the car has been in regular use and has been maintained to the highest possible standard, with recent works carried out by Trinity Engineering totalling £40,000. 1953 Aston Martin DB 2 Vantage Autostorico Partners LLP If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer.
