The Car Barn are very pleased to offer this beautiful Lotus Carlton for sale. Build No 861. It was first registered in April 1993 and sold by Monorep Vauxhall in Luton. It is believed to be the 3rd last Lotus Carlton sold in the UK. The reputation of the Lotus Carlton is been written about for years, and with a 0-60 time of 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 177mph it's still a very fast car today! The servicing on our car was initially done by Monorep Vauxhall before being looked after by Pentagon Vauxhall until 1999. It then moved to Northern Ireland in 2003 it was then used sparingly until it came back into the UK in 2010 when it was put in a private collection and wasn't driven until we purchased the vehicle a couple of years ago. We have given the car a full mechanical overhaul in our workshops and also arranged for a full bare metal respray to be completed. It looks fantastic as you can see by the photos. Jonathon's comments 'When we got offered the chance to buy a Lotus Carlton we couldn't turn it down. We initially planned to do a mechanical check over and then sell it as is but after looking at the car again we decided she needed to get the full treatment and we sent her off for a respray. It's been a labour of love over the last few years but now I'm very pleased to have her in the Car Barn ready to find a new custodian!'
