Type of fuel Gasoline

The Ferrari 512 BBi is a two-seat sports coupé featuring a mid-mounted flat-12 engine and rear-wheel drive. Production began in 1981, when the four triple-choke Weber carburettors fitted to the previous version were replaced by a Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection system. This change brought the engine’s power output to 340 hp. Further modifications included revised front fog lights, updated interior trim and instrument panel graphics, as well as the adoption of Michelin TRX tyres. The lower body trim, previously fitted as standard, became an optional extra. Production ended in 1984, with just 1,007 examples built. The example we are delighted to offer is presented in the classic colour combination of Rosso Corsa red exterior paintwork and a black interior. The bodywork has been exceptionally well preserved. The interior remains entirely original and is in excellent condition, displaying subtle and appealing signs of age. The car is mechanically sound and underwent a comprehensive service in 2025, including replacement of the timing belts. The odometer currently reads just 35,000 km. The car is accompanied by its original tool kit, including the jack and screwdrivers, as well as various invoices documenting work carried out over the years. First registered in Italy in 1983, the car has remained in Italy ever since and retains its Italian registration documents.
