The story behind this collectible... The Jaguar XK150. The successor to the XK120 and XK140. The type name referred to the top speed of the cars in miles per hour. In reality, the 150 just missed that mark, but at the time it was one of the the fastest production cars. That disappointment was the end of it, because they are beautiful cars! The 150 can be distinguished from its predecessors by its curved windshield, which instead of a split window, consists of one whole. The grill in the nose also became slightly wider and the windshield was pushed back slightly moved, making the nose appear a little longer. Our XK150 was completely nut and bolt restored in 2002, leaving the car in absolute top condition again. The interior is a Suffolk & Turley interior and comes from MC Interiors in England. The deep black paint color matches beautifully with the dark walnut wood and white-beige interior with black trim. The hood is white-beige on the outside, but also on the inside, which gives a spacious feeling when closed. In addition to the optically beautiful condition, the necessary overhauls and modifications have been made to make the XK150 even more of a to make a real driver's car. The engine and Getrag five-speed gearbox are complete overhauled. The Getrag gearbox ensures that the Jag also drives very comfortably on the highway. In addition, the Jag is equipped with an Aston Martin/Jaguar power steering, better braking (four-pot brakes at the front, claws at the back) and the electrical part has been converted to 12 volts with an alternating current dynamo. In short; an ultimate gentleman sportscar that is ready for many enjoyable kilometers!
