  • 1973 Alfa Romeo 1600 Zagato

Signed by Ugo Zagato - 21 Year Ownership -. "Veni, Vidi, Amavi" - (we came, we saw, we fell in love...). A special story began with the creation of the Alfa Romeo Junior Zagato by Ercole Spada. The Junior Zagato was designed as a sporty, compact Gran Tourer. Because of its sleek roofline, sitting in the back may not be ideal, but this certainly adds to the Alfa's stunning appearance. What makes this car truly special is that the Junior Zagato's had nothing to do with the Alfa factory, being produced entirely by Zagato itself. The 1600 version is exceptionally rare, with only 402 produced in Milan over a 3-year period. The Zagato's engineering comes from the Alfa 105 series, meaning it shares (almost) everything with the Spider, Bertone and Giulia. Driving the Zagato is, in our opinion, almost unsurpassed. Its simplicity, beautiful design, sharp handling and recognizable "Alfa roar" make for tremendous driving pleasure. If you are not yet converted, you will automatically become an Alfaist because of this car. La mechanica dell'emozione. Pure sang! Ours? A 1600(!) delivered in Italy and brought to Holland in 1991. Here she has had two owners. The last owner purchased the car in 2002 and maintained it well until today. She is in unrestored condition and is in excellent condition. Will we see you soon? • 1970 Jaguar XKE Roadster Series 2

Like many Jaguars of this era, this example was driven recreationally and partially restored by prior owners. A generally sound example, this car benefited from residence for many years in southern Oregon. According to prior owner history, in the early 1980s, the car was purchased from an Ashland, OR repair shop on a tip from two strangers conversing while on a flight to Portland. Upon arriving at the repair shop, the new owner cured the outstanding bill and purchased the car. The car and several boxes arrived at the new owner’s home where it was gradually rebuilt as a long-term hobby project enjoyed by a local Oregon couple. Work performed on the car was done by a host of specialized vendors including paint applied most likely in the late 1980s along with various mechanical and cosmetic details as needed. Driving was limited to local events until the owners parked the car indoors and stored it with regular operation until 2010. The car was reportedly not driven when it was purchased and mechanically recommissioned by the next owner. Under more recent ownership, this Jaguar has been mechanically freshened and gently recommissioned with attention to mechanical features. The engine was cleaned, carburetor needle valve and gaskets replaced for both carburetors, new fuel hoses installed, a secondary fuel filter installed, ignition system rewired, and a fresh set of spark plugs installed along with a new oil pressure sender. A new brake master cylinder and booster were installed, a new clutch slave cylinder installed, and the heater control valve repaired. The brake fluid reservoirs were rewired, and a battery hold down bracket installed. During the recommission the fuel was drained, crankcase oil and filter changed, and the hydraulic system flushed. The electrical system was comprehensively reviewed, electrical contacts cleaned, switch functions checked, lighting replaced as needed, and other electrical features tested for operation. For the interior, the instruments were reviewed, the speedometer repaired, the tachometer lubricated and adjusted, heater control lever and choke mechanism replaced, the instrument voltage regulator replaced, and turn signal/hazard wiring repaired. The carpet was replaced, the seats were removed for seat track cleaning, and adjusted for smooth function. The convertible top mechanism was also serviced to ensure smooth operation. Current Condition Today this Jaguar presents as an attractive and honest example which benefits from older restoration work performed several years ago. Although the restoration work has aged the car still presents as a visually pleasant example. The paint is glossy and nicely done, though there are areas of light surface bubbling on the driver’s front fender, minor road chips, trunk lid chips, and light swirling in some areas of the finish. The front of the car benefits from the thinner profile chrome bumper and much of the chrome is in good condition despite minor cosmetic flaws, though very much in keeping with the overall driver-level presentation. The tan canvas top fits properly to the windshield and remains in nice visual condition, appearing to have had only minimal use. The chrome wire wheels are in excellent condition and correct for this series, shod with a set of Vredestein 205/70 SR15 radial tires. The lights and glass are in very good condition as well with nice presentation, again in keeping with the overall quality driver-level condition. The interior is in excellent shape considering the older restoration. The leather seats retain clean surfaces and soft feel. The console and dashboard upholstery are very nice, and the carpet is clean and quite nice, having been more recently replaced. The steering wheel has the correct appearance and nicely finished aluminum spokes with a handsome center emblem. A late model Sony AM/FM cassette radio is installed. The instruments are in excellent visual condition although the tachometer and oil pressure gauge are currently not functional. The switches and controls are in very nice shape as well, once again contributing to the look and feel of a driver level sports car. Although the convertible top has not been used much and the exterior is in generally good condition, the inside top bow liner fabric seams have come unglued. The engine compartment is generally clean and nicely detailed. The engine itself is quite tidy and appears to be visually consistent with original specifications. The suspension A-arms show some surface age and the painted engine areas also have aged over time, but here too in keeping with the overall presentation. The trunk has been properly finished with matching tan material, housing a full-size wire wheel. The undercarriage reveals a clean and tidy car that has seen road use, jack point repairs, and overspray, but still maintains a very presentable level of finish, including a few painted and raw metal surfaces, cosmetically touched up in various places. One of the added benefits of the later Series II cars is the improved driver ergonomics which accommodates larger drivers and contributes greatly to the driving experience. The joys of open two-seater roadster configuration are further enhanced with the E-Type long hood and short deck. Seating position is very well balanced and driver ergonomics well suited to touring with comfort and luggage space that encourages weekend getaways. General operational features are consistent with the presentation including shifting and engine power, braking, and steering which function consistent with cars of this age. This is an excellent opportunity to acquire an honest, driver-level E-Type Roadster ready to enjoy, refine over time, and appreciate as one of the best-looking sports cars ever created. Series II examples represent outstanding value compared to Series I roadsters. For anyone seeking a Series II E-Type, this example represents the right balance of beauty and usability, readily prepared for your ongoing motoring enjoyment. 1970 Jaguar XKE Roadster Series 2 Fantasy Junction If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1963-shelby-289-cobra-2

From its debut, the Shelby Cobra was instantly renowned for its classic hot rod formula of ample horsepower in a lightweight package. This combination was incredibly capable in skilled hands, but it demanded respect—for just like its namesake, the Cobra could quickly turn and bite an unwary driver. This fortunate Cobra, chassis CSX 2134, survived one such harrowing ordeal and rose to live a second life as intriguing as its first. CSX 2134 began life as any Cobra, constructed by AC Cars in England and dispatched for New York on 27 June 1963 aboard the SS American Commander. Upon landing on American shores, it was transported to Shelby American where it received its engine and chassis upgrades. Originally finished in off-white over red trim, the Cobra was factory-prepared with the Class “A” accessory group including white sidewall tires and a luggage rack. On 24 August 1963, CSX 2134 was consigned along with four other Cobras to W.J. Janner of Ford Motor Company Car Sales Promotion in Dearborn, Michigan. CSX 2134 was shipped via Shelby American truck to the Ford District office in Kansas City, Missouri. Interestingly, the Shelby American Automobile Club Leaf Spring Cobra Registry reports that future Ford Racing Director Jacques Passino was invoiced for the car on 16 September 1963. This was possibly for accounting purposes, as the car continued its service as a demonstrator until mid-1964, when CSX 2134 was returned to Shelby American with just over 6,000 miles displayed on the odometer. Upon receipt, Shelby American added accessories such as new bumper guards, convertible top, side curtains, tonneau, and floor mats, while performing various minor repairs and a complete respray in Lucite before distributing it for sale via Carroll Shelby & Lew Spencer's Hi-Performance Motors of Los Angeles, California. While details of its first private owner are lost to history, the car’s true story begins after an accident at the hands of its second owner, David R. Knisley of California. The Cobra was rendered inoperable and the original aluminum body was heavily damaged from the accident, so Knisley sold the impaired Cobra in 1972 to Charles R. Luscombe who soon admitted his “intention of repairing the body had been overly optimistic.” Luscombe removed what remained of the damaged body, disposed of it in a landfill, and placed the Cobra chassis into storage. In April 1995, after more than two decades in repose, Luscombe sold CSX 2134 to noted Carson City, Nevada-based drag racer Chet Bunch, who immediately began a comprehensive restoration. He commissioned a new aluminum body from esteemed metalsmiths Bruce and Collin Kimmons of Lake Havasu, Arizona, who crafted the body with competition-inspired features such as flared fenders, riveted hood scoop, and provisions made for heavy-duty side exhaust, driver roll bar, front and rear quick jacks, and an FIA-style fuel filler before shipping to Bunch’s own restoration shop for final assembly. A renowned restorer in his own right having previously worked on such iconic competition cars as the "Flip-Top" Cobra 427 prototype, Corvette SR-2, and "Gulf One" Z06 Corvette, Bunch envisioned this Cobra being his lifelong pride and joy. Determined to spare no effort or expense demonstrating the full extent of his mechanical expertise, Chet spent the next 20 years crafting CSX 2134 into the ultimate driving Cobra. While acknowledging the inherently sensitive nature of altering an original Shelby Cobra, Bunch believed the extensive modifications he deemed necessary might be more acceptable to purists if carried out in the same fashion as Shelby American in the 1960s. What followed was an intricate, costly, and labor-intensive series of enhancements to reinforce the chassis, mirroring the methods used on Shelby’s legendary Daytona Coupes. This involved adding lengths of tubing to the frame in triangulated patterns to maximize rigidity and preserve weight distribution, all while ensuring the upgrades remained discreet. With the chassis completed, Bunch fabricated a rocker-arm coilover suspension system in place of the original leaf springs, again taking great care in ensuring his modifications were easily removable should a future owner choose to return to factory specifications. For power, Bunch custom-built an engine to his exacting standards, starting with a Mexican 302-cubic-inch V-8 block, believed by many to be a stronger casting well-suited for additional power. The engine was stroked to 347 cubic inches and equipped with numerous performance upgrades backed by a four-speed manual transmission, yielding a reported 509 horsepower while still running on street gasoline. The interior appears stock with a wood-rimmed steering wheel, Smiths gauges that monitor performance, and bucket seats with lap belts. The exterior features Cobra-branded wind wings, a driver's side-view mirror, a side exit exhaust, and Halibrand knock-off wheels with BF Goodrich tires. Now offered for the first time in 30 years, the car’s next steward faces the enviable choice of enjoying a remarkably drivable Cobra that far exceeds its factory capabilities—or, alternatively, returning the car to the way in which it left Shelby American to honor its early history as a FoMoCo demonstrator. 1963 Shelby 289 Cobra RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1955 Abarth 208 A Spyder by Boano 1

A prominent example of Stile Transatlantico, this Abarth was imported via Tony Pompeo in New York City, a distributor for Abarth and many other Italian marques in New York in the 1950s. The car was sent to the United States on behalf of two brothers of the eponymous Du Pont family. Heirs to their family’s chemical fortune and passionate motor racing enthusiasts, this little Abarth would have no doubt received a lot of attention while in their ownership. After enjoying the Abarth for a few years, the Du Ponts sold the car to a friend of theirs, who later gifted it to Bill Hale. Both Hale and his friend were aircraft mechanics working for the Du Ponts. Hale later recalled that he first saw the Abarth at his friend’s house in Delaware in the early 1970s and was gifted the car in 1973. He took the car home to Long Island, New York, where he drove it locally for the following few summers. Around 1975, Hale’s parents sold their home, where the car was kept, and moved to Maine, and the car would move north with them. Newly married, Hale drove the car with his wife from Long Island up to Maine. A memorable drive, he recalled driving the car from Long Island, across the Brooklyn Bridge to Manhattan, and subsequently north to Maine. Much of the drive took place in a torrential downpour, and needless to say, the Abarth was not equipped to handle such foul weather. Hale and his wife spent half an hour on that journey with the car hiding under a bridge, waiting for the weather to clear before they continued. The Abarth lived in Maine for several years, where his cousin continued to drive it in the summer for a few years, and when Hale bought a house on Long Island, the car returned to New York with him. The car remained largely unchanged during this time. Hale remembers sourcing a correct-specification Abarth rear axle from a friend in Long Island when the Spyder’s rear axle needed to be replaced. When he purchased the car, a custom manifold and SU carburettors had already been fitted by the Du Ponts. Upon its return to Long Island, the car was largely hidden from public view until 2007, when it was finally rediscovered by Etceterini collector Elad Shraga. Enamoured with the Abarth, Shraga convinced Hale over the course of the next two years to sell him the car in the summer of 2009. Found to be in exceptionally original condition, it was determined that work needed to be done to the car to rectify some previous minor damage, but its astonishing originality should be preserved. As such, the bodywork was repaired and the mechanical components were restored to bring the 208 A Spyder back to running order. However, nothing else was restored, resulting in an utterly charming and fascinating automobile. Opting to admire the car privately, the Abarth 208 A was shown only once at the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance in 2013 by Elad Shraga, however, it would surely be welcome at any number of concours events or rallies, due to its rarity and historical significance. Sold to the current owner a few years ago, it later received a bare metal repaint in its original colours in its native Italy at a cost of more than €30,000. This work was carried out under the guidance and supervision of Corrado Lopresto and his team in Italy to concours-level conditions. This is an icon of Stile Transatlantico and a significant part of Abarth’s early history. It would be a significant addition to any collection worldwide. 1955 Abarth 208 A Spyder by Boano RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1967 Alfa Romeo 2600 Sprint

Delivered new to North Brede Motors in Perth and sold to Peter Alexander Bell from Bassendean WA, in November 1967, this Alfa Romeo 2600 Sprint presents in its original Bianco Antico with black leather interior. It is a lovely driver’s car which has been well looked after by the current owner for 20 years. It is a 4-owner car and comes with its original service books and keys. The 2600 Sprint really defined the executive driver’s car for Alfa Romeo. Built between 1964 and 1967 only 6,999 were made and of those a mere 597 were RHD of which our car is one of these. This larger grand touring coupé could seat four adults in comfort over long journeys at high speeds thanks to the wide power and torque band of the 2584cc six-cylinder engine. With a 5 speed gearbox and all round disc brakes it was perfect to drive long distances at speed and in comfort. The design is the result of Giorgetto Giugiaro’s first major project as head designer for Carrozzeria Bertone, and is arguably one of the most influential designs in the history of automotive styling. Of the 597 RHD cars, very few were sold new in Australia and this is one of those. Its VIN starting in 854 confirms this was a produced for the Australian market and is underlined in the original sales documents which accompany the car. The body of the car is in very good condition and the colour of the paint suits the car setting off the brightwork well. The car has had a recent full body repaint which is of good quality. There is no evidence of rust anywhere on the car and it suggests it has clearly lead a pampered life. The engine and gearbox both perform faultlessly with no issues with the synchro’s. Over the last few years the car has been driven on fair weather days and to ensure it drives well with recent mechanical work done to ensure it runs as expected including the rebuild of its original Solex carbs and braking system. The interior is very good and the leather has been replaced at some point but shows no signs of cracking or loss of colour, unusually the dash and steering wheel is sound without cracking too. The electric windows are in working correctly and the headlining is in superb order and the window chrome is spot on. The interior of this car really is a lovely place to be. The original radio blanking plate accompanies the car too highlighting how original this is. The wheels although not original suit the car well. At some point the ‘2600’ badges and grill have been painted black as have the windscreen wipers, however these can be easily returned to standard. Out on the road this car really is a gentlemen’s express and is incredibly quiet and comfortable to drive as it works through the gears with the 2.6 litre engine providing plenty of ‘go’ whilst delivering an intoxicating engine note. Compared to its contemporaries from Maserati and Ferrari this represents something of a bargain and particularly one that is so original. A wonderful driving Alfa Romeo with a fantastic history. 1967 Alfa Romeo 2600 Sprint Сlassic Сar Market If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1966-porsche-912-1

In the mid-1960s, Porsche was faced with the challenge of replacing the technically outdated Porsche 356. The Porsche 911 was introduced in 1963, but with its new 6-cylinder boxer engine it was relatively expensive and not affordable for all customers. Porsche then developed the 912 as a cheaper alternative and introduced it to the market with great success. The model was produced between 1965 and 1969 in the Targa and Coupé versions. Externally, the 912 is almost identical to the 911, but has a smaller engine and a simpler interior with less chrome. As an early version of the 912, this vehicle still has many features from the 356, such as the instrumentation. A rare opportunity to acquire an extensively restored 912 Coupé in very good condition with a 5-speed gearbox and tasteful colour combination. • 1959 Ferrari 410 Superamerica

Like a fine wine or a mellowed whiskey, some car models only improve with age. Such is the case with the Ferrari Superamerica, which developed through two iterations before a third series was introduced at the 1958 Paris Salon. Substantially different than the first two variants, the Series III Superamerica was built on a revised 2,600-millimeter wheelbase chassis with a widened track, designated as the type 514A. Into this athletic frame, Maranello’s engineers dropped a further development of Aurelio Lampredi’s Le Mans-winning tall-block 4.9-liter V-12, now classified as the type 126A/58. This retuned engine was equipped with outside spark plugs (predating the more famous outside-plug 250 GT engine by some six months), huge racing-specification Weber 46 DCF/3 carburetors, and polished billet connecting rods (a feature only found elsewhere on the 250 Testa Rossa and 250 GTO racecars). Now developing 400 horsepower, 40 horsepower more than the outgoing Series II cars, the revised engine was capable of propelling the Series III to an extraordinary top speed of 165 mph. Such power required further mechanical refinement, so the Series III SA received a revised gearbox and massive 15.7-inch diameter Alfin front brake drums. Borrowed from the Scuderia racecars, these were the largest drums ever featured on a grand touring Ferrari. But despite all these mechanical advances, the most striking difference between the latest Superamerica and its predecessors was the new model’s updated Pinin Farina coachwork. Commencing with a covered-headlamp front-end treatment reminiscent of the concurrent 250 GT California Spider, including a decorated hood scoop and elongated finned fender vents, the design proceeded through an airy cabin with triple-vent sail panels suggestive of the 250 GT Tour de France berlinettas, and concluded in a formal tail reminiscent of the 250 GT Pinin Farina Coupe. This unique combination of Pinin Farina design cues firmly eschewed the prior SA’s dated 1950s styling while foreshadowing the coachwork motifs that would appear across Maranello’s model range during the early 1960s. Just 12 examples of the final 410 Superamerica were built before the model was replaced by the 400 Superamerica (which featured a redesigned, smaller-displacement engine, making the Series III 410 SA the most highly developed version of the legendary Lampredi racing engine). As such, the third-series 410 examples represent the ultimate development of Maranello’s vintage large-displacement luxury touring cars, encapsulating bespoke exclusivity and top-shelf performance. CHASSIS NUMBER 1305 SA: A VIRTUAL ONE-OFF Claiming rarity, important ownership history, and a top-quality restoration performed by RM Auto Restoration, this stunning third-series 410 Superamerica is one of the finest examples one could hope to encounter. According to factory build sheet copies and the research of marque expert Marcel Massini, chassis number 1305 SA is the fourth of 12 examples built, and one of only seven cars fitted with covered headlights. The chassis was dispatched to Pinin Farina’s workshop in February 1959 to be clothed with a unique expression of the third-series coachwork that included covered headlights and special tail lamps requiring differently shaped fenders (a taillamp design believed to be shared with only one other car). Completed in May 1959, the Ferrari was finished in the unusual shade of Nero Tropicale IVI over an interior of Naturale 3218 Connolly leather upholstery. The car is the only covered-headlamp example to be painted in this elegant color. After being distributed to Garage de Montchoisy SA, an official Ferrari dealer in Switzerland, the Superamerica was sold in June 1959 to an American residing in Geneva named Griffin. The owner only mildly used the 410 through 11 years of ownership, eventually selling the car in 1970 to Hans Maag of Renens. Later that year the Swiss dealer and motoring author Rob de la Rive Box purchased 1305 SA, and he brokered a deal in 1971 to the respected American Ferrari connoisseur and FCA co-founder Richard Merritt of Bethesda, Maryland. Merritt sold the Superamerica a year later to Wisconsin resident Tom Viltner, who retained possession for four years. In 1976 the Ferrari was acquired by John Hajduk, whose well-known shop Motorkraft, in Bensenville, Illinois, was one of the most esteemed American Ferrari restoration specialists of the era. Mr. Hajduk conducted a full refurbishment of the Superamerica, including a repaint in dark green with yellow striping. After passing through two additional caretakers, the Superamerica was sold in 1982 to George and Rosella Wamser of Bloomington, Illinois, longtime members of the local Ferrari Club of America chapter. The Wamsers enjoyed the 410 for nearly two decades, frequently presenting the car at Midwestern FCA meets through the 1980s and early 1990s, and during this period the car was also featured in Dyke Ridgley’s 1983 monograph Ferrari 410 Superamerica Series III, an essential source on these rare Ferraris. A digital copy of the book is included in the car’s documentation. After passing in the late 1990s to enthusiast Dennis Machul of Oak Brook, Illinois, 1305 SA was sold to a major international collector who kept the car domiciled for nearly two decades before offering it for sale in August 2017. Acquired then by the consignor, the Ferrari was treated to a comprehensive restoration to original specifications by the Pebble Beach-winning RM Auto Restoration of Blenheim, Canada. The engine was sympathetically freshened after being tested and deemed to not require a full teardown, while all the major running-gear systems were rebuilt as needed. The coachwork was refinished in the factory-correct shade of Nero Tropicale, and the interior was properly re-trimmed in beige Naturale leather, returning the car to its original color combination. In a testament to the SA’s highly authentic state of originality, Pinin Farina body number markings were discovered on numerous components throughout the car, including the bumpers, behind the door panels, and on various trim pieces. On the back of the fastidious restoration, the Superamerica won its class at the 2020 Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance. Nine months later the 410 was certified with a Ferrari Classiche Red Book that testifies to the continued presence of the matching-numbers engine, gearbox, and rear axle, demonstrating the car’s highly desirable mechanical authenticity. Concours success continued at the 2021 Cavallino Classic, where the SA received a Platinum Award as well as the Robert Tallgren Memorial Elegance Cup for the finest coach-built Ferrari, and the Honorary Judges’ Cup for the finest judged Ferrari selected by the Honorary Judges. The Superamerica’s exquisite state of correct presentation was further confirmed with a 100-point score and best of show at the 2023 Cavallino Modena, and best of show at the Concours d’Elegance Suisse held at the Chateau in Coppet, Switzerland. As one of just 12 Series III cars built, 1305 SA is as rare as it is elegant—a striking, luxurious, and muscular machine that would complement even the most nuanced sports car collection. Further distinguished as one of just seven cars fitted with covered headlamps, and the only example among these finished in Nero Tropicale IVI, this Series III Superamerica is a quintessential example of Ferrari’s flagship model, representing the finest cross-section of competition-developed engineering and luxurious grand touring sensibilities. The timelessly elegant Italian thoroughbred is ideal for further display at major concours and marque gatherings, or it may be privately enjoyed for its powerful acceleration and exquisite curves, a breathtaking jewel to be admired and driven. 1959 Ferrari 410 Superamerica RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1979 Ford Escort RS 2000

A genuine Mk2 RS2000 Escort from long term ownership, superbly prepared to a 'Group 4' specification and offered at a very attractive guide. The Mk1 Escort RS2000 had proven to be a huge hit, especially in the UK and showed the potential of the idea, so Ford took the Mk2 RS2000 up market, positioning it as the performance car every young professional needed. A new deformable polyurethane nose transformed its look and gave it a distinctive, more glamorous, identity but it was practical as well, reducing drag from a CD of 0.444 to 0.386. Announced at the 1975 Geneva Motor Show, the RS2000 became the best-selling RS Escort ever made, with over 23,000 being produced at Ford's Saarlouis plant in Germany before production ceased in July 1980. On offer here is a genuine1979 Ford Escort RS2000 which spent its early years on the road before being purchased by its current owner in 2005, with the intention of recreating a fully prepared 'Group 4' RS2000. Maylum Motorsports of Kent were tasked with building the car to our vendor's specification and naturally the Ford was fully stripped and the appropriate body panels were replaced with X-Pack panels from Ex-Pressed Panels of Keighley. It was fitted with an Atlas rear axle and a limited-slip 'motorsport' differential with 4:6 crown wheel and pinion, 'Group 4' half shafts, 'Group 4' hubs front and rear with 4-pot callipers accompanied by mechanical and hydraulic handbrake and discs. Braided brake and fuel lines have been fitted internally throughout with a bias pedal box and dash mounted brake balance adjustment along with front and rear coil-over suspension which have adjustable TCA and adjustable compression struts to the front and four link and a panhandle rod kit to the rear. Motivation is provided by a 2-litre Ford Zetec with a Rick Wood-built head, Wossner pistons, steel rods, and a 'Motorsport' crank, fuelled by 45mm tapered Jenvey throttle bodies and managed by an Omex 600ECU. The engine is dry-sumped (Titan) with a 2.5-gallon boot-mounted oil tank and is fitted with a steel flywheel, HD clutch, hydraulic clutch cylinder and an RS2000 aluminium bellhousing. The engine was run in and set up on a dyno by Rick Wood, producing a documented 296bhp @ 6,400rpm, however the camshafts were designed to produce peak power at 7,500rpm so there is more scope yet. The gearbox is a Type 9 5-speed with Quaife straight-cut internals coupled to the rear axle with a Rally Design one-piece prop. Other specification details include a 'Group 4' 8mm ally sump guard, 12-gallon ally fuel tank with separate swirl pot and primary and secondary fuel pumps with an inline fuel filter, electric power steering, a Varley 'red top' battery and an Armtech hybrid battery isolator. The cockpit is a basic competition car but is well prepared with checker-plate floors, internal fuses, Sparco circuit race bucket seats with roll-cage mounted 5-point TRS harnesses and a Lifeline 3-litre plumbed-in fire extinguisher. Now finished in Signal Yellow with 'Blue Oval' graphics, the RS looks 'the business' sitting on X5 13" Minilites with 205 x 60 x 13 road tyres. On offer from 15 years ownership, this project has obviously been a 'labour of love' and the fit and finish are exceptional. • 1989 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary by Bertone

To fully appreciate the Lamborghini Countach, one must look back to its origins in the mid-1970s, when “sports car” meant an MG or a Triumph, and the term “supercar” had only recently been coined for this car’s predecessor, the Miura. Doors usually opened only one way, outward, and bodies were still curvy, without sharp angles or wedge shapes. Engines were still usually carried in the front. Into this world came Marcello Gandini’s design, aptly named after a vulgar Italian expression of astonishment, “Countach!” To say that it broke the mold is both cliché and an understatement: This is a car that obliterated the mold. Incredibly low, flat, and angular in the best of ways, it resembled most other manufacturers’ concept vehicles—yet here it was, ready for production and available soon from one’s imported car dealer, in 1974. In production 16 years, it looked as modern and fresh at the end of its run in 1990 as it had when it was introduced. The 25th Anniversary edition introduced in 1988, was admittedly, in Lamborghini’s own view and intention, the ultimate Countach, named in honor of a quarter-century of the Lamborghini marque. This Countach was restyled to the fullest extent possible without requiring re-homologation; cosmetically, ergonomically, and mechanically, the model was effectively born anew under the 25th Anniversary badge. To carry out this monumental development work, Lamborghini tasked none other than in-house talents Horacio Pagani and Sandro Munari. Pagani reformed the exterior front bumper, raking rear wing scoops, lights, rear bumper, and ground effects, while the interior benefitted from the integration of standard climate control, power windows and seats, improved bolstering, and a revised steering assembly. Munari implemented fine-tuned revisions to the suspension and maximized the tire dimensions front and back—a change that reportedly added sufficient grip to drop the car’s 0–60 mph benchmark by half a second. Overall, Pagani and Munari turned the Countach into a far more drivable, road-going machine than previous editions. Research indicates that this Countach 25th Anniversary, chassis KLA12078, was delivered new to Al Ajda Automotive, Saudi Arabia on 27 July 1990. Notably, this example further features the more powerful, carbureted iteration of the Lamborghini V-12 engine. By 2005, the car was in the possession of a Canadian owner; according to the Carfax on file, just 621 kilometers were reported at the time of purchase. Later, in 2014, this Lamborghini became a part of the Dare to Dream Collection, where it has remained since. Finished from the factory in Rosso Siviglia paint over a Champagne leather interior with Rosso piping, the odometer now shows just 2,660 kilometers (~1,653 miles) on the odometer at the time of cataloging. An invoice on file from 2014 indicates the car was cosmetically reconditioned around the time of the most recent purchase. Across the body, the paint was refinished for a consistent look and the interior leather was repaired as needed, resulting in a tidy presentation today. It is accompanied now by tools and manuals with pouch. As motoring journalist Johnny Lieberman stated in an August 2022 Motor Trend article, “The Countach is an attitude, a frame of mind, a monument to what could be and really what should be.” This is certainly a conclusion that any true enthusiast will endorse. An undeniable icon of the Italian motor industry, the Lamborghini Countach cemented the brand as a true player against rival sports car manufacturers Ferrari and Maserati by virtue of its powerful 12-cylinder engine and bold, innovative design. The 25th Anniversary edition served to both refine its attributes and amplify its outlandishness to create the ultimate iteration of this must-have supercar. 1989 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1961 Jaguar e-type Series 1 3.8 FIA

The E-Type Jaguar debuted at the 1961 Geneva Motorshow as a replacement for the hugely successful Jaguar XK150. The new E-Type was nothing short of a revelation, with its heady blend of supercar performance, breath-taking styling and low price tag, the newcomer left its rivals reeling and customers desperate to own one. Designed by William Lyons and Malcolm Sayer, the E-Type was launched in 1961 in both fixed head coupe and roadster form with design inspiration taken from the Le-Mans winning D-Type sports racer. Built around a steel monocoque chassis with a front sub-frame to cradle the engine, all-round independent suspension using coil springs and dampers to the rear with torsion bars and wishbones to the front. Brakes were Dunlop discs all round, mounted inboard to the rear alongside the differential to reduce un-sprung weight. Powered by Jaguar’s XK 3.8 litre twin-cam straight six engine, the E-Type offered breath taking performance to rival both Ferrari and Aston Martin. The 3.8 litre engine produced 265bhp and boasted a top speed of 150 mph and a 0-60 mph time of just 6.5 secs. The 1961 Jaguar E-Type 3.8 Series 1 “FIA” Coupe (Registration No 6182RW) offered here at Autostorico is finished in Opalescent Grey metallic with Blue leather interior. Having been race prepared in 2002 by Colin Percy a respected Jaguar fan, who had previously owned Chassis no 860004 the original “CUT 7” and “EE400” the Equipe Endeavor Roadster Chassis no 850018. The car was then sold to Peter Lanfranchi and raced by him and his brother Tony. Latterly Barrie “Whizzo” Williams competed in the car at a number of circuits all over Europe including Le Mans with great successes. In 2017 the car was sold to John Young and has been raced by John and his son Jack. This car is a true front running Goodwood “Kinrara” Trophy competitor and it is eligible for many other high profile events such as the Tour Auto & Le Mans Classic. The car has been prepared and maintained regardless of cost. Supplied with a comprehensive history file including FIA/HTP papers valid until 2026, Current V5 registration document and numerous invoices. 1961 Jaguar e-type Series 1 3.8 FIA Autostorico Partners LLP If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. This exceptional example of Jaguar’s legendary supercar claims a life of modest driving use and fastidious upkeep throughout a short chain of dedicated owners, resulting in a particularly fetching XJ220. According to a production record trace certificate from the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust, chassis number 220773 was completed in March 1993 and finished in the striking livery of Le Mans Blue paint over a Smoke Grey leather interior. Dispatched from the factory in June 1993, customer order number 048 (as evidenced by the doorsill embossment) was sold new to an owner in Denmark. The Jaguar later passed to a second Danish keeper, who commissioned performance upgrades by the world’s preeminent XJ220 authority Don Law Racing in the United Kingdom, including attention to the brakes and clutch. In February 2015 the Jaguar was sold to its third caretaker, the Germany-based consignor. Shortly after, SMS Engineering was tasked with conducting a refresh that included a partial rebuild of the twin-turbocharged 3.5-litre V-6 engine, attention to the brakes, clutch, and steering components, and the installation of a new fuel tank. In 2016, the coachwork was beautifully refinished in Le Mans Blue and the driver’s seat was reupholstered, further contributing to the car’s current state of authentic presentation. This was followed by additional attention by Don Law in 2018 that principally consisted of a comprehensive rebuild of the engine to original factory specifications. It is important to note that a stamping corresponding to the JDHT certificate clarifies that this XJ220 retains its matching-numbers engine. As detailed by a file of service invoices, the Jaguar has been dutifully maintained over the last 10 years, including the installation of a custom muffler and repairs to the air conditioning system by Autohaus Konrad Schmidt in 2020; plus a full service in April 2024 that included the fitment of a new clutch and belts. This XJ220 is sure to experience a warm welcome at owners’ club gatherings and marque-focused events. Chassis number 220773 would make a wonderful addition to any sporting collection, particularly suited for enthusiasts of late-20th Century benchmark supercars. 1994 Jaguar XJ220 RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer.
