  • 1962 Aston Martin DB4 Cabrio Superleggera

This is an outstanding Aston Martin DB4, originally Left-Hand-Drive, that was delivered new to the United States in July 1962 to Sir S.Salant, Lane Locust Valley, L.I. New York. Since then, it has only had 3 owners. The chassis number DB4C / 1069 / L is an Aston Martin DB4 Series IV DHC convertible and has been recently restored to its original colour, the very elegant Dubonnet Rosso Metallic combined with a Fawn/ Tan leather interior and tan floor carpets. We love the mythic line of the Superleggera body, designed by Carrozzeria Touring Milano. The engine 370/943 is the original full “matching numbers” engine , converted to “SS” Special Serie specifications in its early life. The car has an original 4-speed gearbox with overdrive and a new power steering. A fortune has been spent on its restoration, as evidenced by the expert report carried out recently (report available on request). Here is how the expert describes the condition of the car: “The base is in beautifully restored condition without trace of damage or rust. The entire underside was protected with a new rust protection layer. The body has been completely restored and is in very good condition. The paint has a deep shine and is homogenous in colour. There are almost no signs of age around the car, nor damage. The glass is in good condition, the windscreen was recently replaced by an original brand part. The original mirror is still mounted. The chrome work and the body rubbers were largely renewed and are in very good condition. The black canvas convertible roof was also renewed.” The vehicle comes with an ultra rare factory hardtop that was recently restored. It is featured with beautiful Borrani wire wheels, and Michelin tires in “as new” state. An identical spare wheel is present, as well as the necessary original on-board tools. As part of the restoration, the engine got a major service. The fuel tank was renewed and the exhaust pipe replaced by a stainless steel one. The braking system with disk brakes has been overhauled. And all electric lights were renewed according to original specifications. The car is equipped with 2 seat belts (3 points) In recent years, we saw the value of the DB4 models rise sharply. We don’t often have the chance to offer such a beautiful exemplar of one of the greatest icons in the classic world. Only 14 Aston Martin DB4C Serie IV were built Left-Hand-Drive, and the one we have for sale comes with its very rare factory hardtop. Connoisseurs will recognize here the unique investment opportunity. 1962 Aston Martin DB4 Cabrio Superleggera AD Sportscars If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1964 Lancia Flaminia Sport Zagato 2.8 3C

La bella ragazza. The Zagato Sport, which became famous as the “beautiful girl” was presented in 1958 at the Turin motor show and is the 3rd of 6 variants of the Lancia Flaminia. The beautiful coupé was designed by Fabio Luigi Rapi from Zagato. It has the “double bubble” roof which makes the Zagato creations so recognizable and a rounded aluminium body with pop-out handles. The Flaminia Sport was offered in 3 model series over the years. The first version was fitted with a Solex triple carburetor. The enhanced models, which featured the so-called 3C engines, were fitted with an intake system that had three Weber twin-choke carburetors. The II-nd Series with 2.8 3C set up is considered by many as the esthetically most pleasing design. It is interesting because it was the bridge series between the Sport and the Super Sport Series III cars. Out of the 70 Sports produced (type 826.132), 37 were converted to Super Sport, which means that the example presented here (chassis number 826.132.1002) is one of only 33 cars that are still in their original configuration. This particular Lancia Flaminia Sport is still totally original and matching numbers, in the very attractive color combination of Argento Auteuil Metalizzato combined with black leather interior. Its first owner was a French gentleman, Charles Latronche from Toulouse. He kept the Lancia until October 1980 when he sold it to his friend Jean-Claude Bajol. The car stayed in the same private collection for 32 years. It was finally offered for sale in an Art Curial public auction in February 2012 and became the property of a Belgian Zagato car collector. The Belgian connoisseur asked for a FIVA Identity Card proving its matching numbers and decided to let the car be restored in its original configuration. During the first quarter of 2014, the Flaminia Sport was totally restored “as new” by Marco Menini in Villa Guardia, Como. The hand-built aluminium body was completely disassembled and put back together. The engine was entirely rebuilt. All mechanical parts (engine, carburetor, gearbox, suspension, braking system) were completely disassembled and restored in a strictly new condition. At the same time, the vehicle was repainted in its original color combination Argento Auteuil over black leather. The leather interior has remained original. The leather seat upholstery was completely dismantled, treated professionally, and pulled back over the (restored) chassis. As a result, the current owner could benefit from a concours-state restored Lancia that fitted perfectly his collection and was ready to drive. Available with the car: – The original documents (Belgian registration) – The history of ownership of the car, based on the previous registrations – A complete photo documentation of the restoration of the car – The original FIVA pass 2012 – The user’s manual & repair shop manual The Flaminia Sport is much more than a fast-riding machine. It gives off an impression of refinement, quality, love for fine work. Every detail is a feast for the eyes for anyone who loves beautiful mechanics. For sure an opportunity to acquire a rare and original collector item, eligible for all the greatest historical rallyes. – One of only 33 made in the world (826.132 series II) – restored in concours state – Original colour combination – Original and matching numbers – rare collector item – Most sought-after variant – eligible for the greatest historical rallyes 1964 Lancia Flaminia Sport Zagato 2.8 3C AD Sportscars If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1973 Dino 246 GT

Named after Enzo Ferrari’s son, the Ferrari 246 Dino is the first mid-engined Ferrari, made more affordable for a wider audience. At the time of its introduction, some did not even consider it a “real Ferrari”. However, in retrospect, the Dino with its fluid style and sensuous silhouette frequently ranks in the top ten Ferraris of all time. Designed by Pininfarina, the Dino 246 entered production in 1969 and left in 1974 with a little more than 3,700 examples ever exiting the factory in Maranello. There are two main types of Dino 246s. The first is the GT, which is a typical Ferrari Berlinetta, meaning a coupé like the one presented here. The other is the GTS, which features a black removal roof, essentially a Targa top. Both were equipped with the 2.4-liter V6 mid-engine producing a captivating metallic sound and an amazing performance for an output of “only” 195 horsepower. Here for sale is a beautiful Dino GT that was bought new in 1973 (meaning one of the latest produced) by a Belgian gentleman who remained its unique owner until today. Dinos 246 with original papers (original invoice !) and books, with a known history from new and with matching numbers are very rare to find on the market. The chassis number 06740 was ordered in Yellow Fly, the official color of all Belgian racing cars before the sixties. It is equipped with its original black leather seats and its original wheels. The owner used it sparingly and always parked it in a garage. The odometer reads little more than 64,000 kilometers after 50 years of driving pleasure. The Dino has been regularly serviced. In 2013, a complete restauration of the body was done by Carrosserie Dumont (Liege, BE) following typical rust concerns with a steel monocoque. The restoration works were carried out professionally according to the expertise report that followed. The side sills have been completely replaced and the body completely repainted in its original factory color. Now, 10 years later, the paint still looks very good. The Dino starts immediately and runs well. The engine got a big maintenance two years ago. The notice and take down procedure is described here: https://www.speedholics.com/copyright Named after Enzo Ferrari’s son, the Ferrari 246 Dino is the first mid-engined Ferrari, made more affordable for a wider audience. • 1974-alfa-romeo-montreal-01

Welcome to the ’70s. This is the car that perfectly embodies a decade when gold metallic paint and V8 engines were the answer to all of life’s problems. A time when the tax office wasn’t great at math, and everyone sparkled in glorious irresponsibility. And it was wonderful. This 1974 Alfa Romeo Montreal comes in the outrageously extravagant and original color ‘Oro Metallizzato’ — the kind of gold that makes you want to wear a thick chain over an open polyester shirt. And we absolutely love it. The party continues inside with an interior just as striking: Avana Beige. It’s the color of a vintage tuxedo — luxurious and suave — and it feels like it’s about to offer you a bottle of Chivas Regal and a lighter. This is the car for the person who doesn’t ask for attention — they simply command it. Beneath that brilliantly low-slung body, drawn by design god Marcello Gandini (yes, the man behind the Miura), lies proof that Alfa Romeo’s engineers were drinking from the fountain of madness. They dropped in the engine from their ferocious Tipo 33 race prototype — an advanced, all-aluminum V8 with dry-sump lubrication. And look at those headlights: those genius louvered “blinds.” Gandini must have thought, “Let’s give the lights sunglasses — they’re too cool to be on display all the time.” The Montreal is what happens when you tell a designer not to stay within the lines. Only 3,925 of these mechanical masterpieces were ever built, making it a rare gem. And in this Oro Metallizzato specification — so rare we almost don’t want to sell it — you’ll own Alfa’s most legendary engine wrapped in their most iconic 1970s design. The Montreal is the ultimate statement car. Originally delivered in Europe and brought to the Netherlands in 2003, it has been meticulously cared for ever since. If you’re looking for a modest, sensible car — buy a Toyota. If you’re after a car that roars, glitters, and smells like petrol and pure, unfiltered joy, you’ve just found your new obsession. • 1985-ferrari-288-gto-2

The 288 was born out of a vision to go FIA “Group B” racing. The 308 GTB was the basis for the 288. With Ferrari being under the Fiat umbrella during this time, Enzo was disappointed with the products that were coming out of Ferrari. Unfortunately the “Group B,” class was canceled in 1987 before the car was completed, but Enzo pressed on anyway. He enlisted the help of some of the engineers from Lanica to help turn the 308 GTB into a Group B racer with no limits. In order to have cars, “homologated,” to go racing, the manufacturer had to produce a certain amount of cars. They produced 272 288 GTO's in total which is the fewest amount of all of the super cars. If it wasn't for the 288 GTO, there wouldn't be an F40 and there wouldn't be an F50.
The 288 GTO was priced at $85,000 new. The 2 8 8 GTO is one of the most collectible modern super cars and it bears the, “GTO,” badge. The 288 GTO was born, “GTO” standing for “Grand Turismo Omologato,” which equates to, “Homoligation.” This was the second time in Ferrari's history that the, “GTO” moniker was used. The first being the 250 GTO back in 1962. The 288 was designed to push the engineering envelope. While doing that Enzo had a vision to make the car as light as possible. The 288 was the first Ferrari to incorporate the use of Carbon Kevlar composite body panels. This material was used on the hood and roof. The doors were aluminum and fiberglass was used on the front fascia and rear fascia. They managed to get the weight down to 1,160kg (2,555lbs), about 550lbs lighter than the 308 GTB. The 288 was shortened up, while the wheelbase was lengthened by 8”. The GTO had functional aero on the car with brake cooling scoops in the front and rear, vents to feed the IHI Turbo's and a dovetail spoiler for downforce which is also reminiscent to the 250 GTO rear as well as the 3 vertical vents on the rear quarter panel. The engine was a de-bored version of the 308 Tipo F160-V8, it was debored to 2,855cc's (2.9ltr) and renamed the F114B. The engine had dual overhead camshafts, 4 valves per cylinder, mated with lightweight connecting rods, nickisel coated liners and heads (to reduce friction). Ferrari looked to Japanese turbo manufacturer IHI to engineer the Turbos for this car as they did most of the rally cars. All of this equated to 400hp, 0-60mph in 5 seconds, 0-125mph in 15 seconds and a top speed of 190mph; effectively making this the fastest road going car. The engineers had to turn the engine from being, “horizontally,” mounted to, “longitudinally,” mounted in order to make additional room for the Turbo's. The suspension was planted at each corner with, “Koni” coil overs. While the brakes were Brembo disc brakes. The 288 was a road going race car and one of the most special Ferraris produced. The 288 cemented Ferrari's platform on the world stage as the cars at that time were far from optimal. As much of a race car for the street as they are, they are very amazing and docile to drive on the street. The 2-8-8 is very easy to drive normally, but depress the throttle hard and you feel the twin turbo's spool and plant you back in the Daytona Seats as you row through the 5-speed gated gear lever. Of the 272 288 GTO's produced, we have been involved with about 20 cars that we've had the pleasure of touching. For every one we acquire, we pass on probably 4 of them. Most of these cars were driven and have lots of mileage and have old repairs of damage that we discovered, in some cases the current owners never saw the damage as it was masked fairly well. Many of the cars we have inspected with low mileage have been clocked where odometers were unplugged, odometers replaced and no service history where you cannot corroborate the mileage. I've had the privilege of studying 288's and touching many examples, preparing them for many concours events such as Cavallino. I was invited by Cavallino to speak on a panel about 288 GTO's at the 2024 Cavallino Classic. **Offered for Sale: 1985 Ferrari 288 GTO — Early FIA Homologation Example, Exceptional Provenance** This 288 GTO, chassis, is a rare opportunity for discerning collectors and investors seeking one of the most desirable supercars in Ferrari's history. • 1959-jaguar-xk150

The Jaguar XK 150 is a versatile, competitive choice of historic racing car that’s eligible for a wide range of events, and this particular example was race-prepared in recent years with no expense spared. It was originally built in February 1959 as a standard right-hand-drive, 3.4-litre, XK 150 S Fixed-Head Coupé. As one of only 86 such cars to leave the famous Browns Lane factory, that makes it a very rare variant of the model. Chassis number 824785DN was finished in Pearl Grey with a Red interior and sold new via Glovers in Harrogate. Registered 799 JDV, the XK next turns up being offered for sale in March 1990, by which time it was said to have had only two owners – the second of whomhad bought it in 1960 or 1961. They had also rebuilt the car between 1969 and 1973. Fast-forward to 2016 and the XK 150 was once again in need of restoration, and over the course of the next two years, it was built up into competition spec by renowned specialist Brian Stevens of XK Motorsport. The engine was uprated from 3.4 to 3.8 litres, the larger capacity having been added to the XK 150 range from late 1959 onwards. It runs on S-spec triple SU carburettors and drives through the standard Moss four-speed gearbox. Stevens had intended to use the completed XK 150 himself, but instead he decided to sell it in unraced condition. Through 2018 and 2019, it was campaigned by its new owner in the UK and on the continent, at venues such as Le Mans, Spa-Francorchamps, Brands Hatch and Snetterton. Now being offered for sale at the Classic Motor Hub, this superbly prepared and well-proven XK 150 features a Corbeau race seat, Lifeline extinguisher, bolt-in half roll cage and Dunlop Racing tyres. It also has an FIA Historic Technical Passport that’s valid until December 2028, and will offer its next owner a highly competitive and enjoyable entry into a variety of historic-racing series. 1959 Jaguar XK150 The Classic Motor Hub If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1990 Alfa Romeo Spider

Introduced in 1990, the Alfa Romeo Spider 2.0i (4th generation) continues the legacy of the iconic Spider roadster. It is a charming and agile sports car that combines timeless design elements, clean lines and open-air driving pleasure. The 1990 versions are less prone to corrosion and the power steering, which became standard, as well as the electric windows provide comfort that can be appreciated by all. Please welcome this beautiful exemplar of the Alfa Romeo Spider 4th generation, painted in metallic silver grey with a beige interior. Of Italian origin, the roadster was registered for the first time in Belgium in 2003 with only 38,000 km on the odometer. It was purchased by its last owner in February 2019 and registered as an ancestor, being used very occasionally. The black soft top, which is known to be easy and quick to handle, is here complemented by an optional hard-top in assorted grey that allows the Spider to be used in winter. The charismatic 2.0L inline-four engine produces 126 hp and offers sufficient performance for a cruising convertible. Thanks to its low mileage, this Alfa Romeo Spider is in very good condition. It comes with its original service book. A major maintenance has just been carried out on the vehicle. The upholstery and carpeting were replaced in 2024… In order words, the Spider has found a new lease of life and is ready to hit the road again. So, if you are one of the many enthusiasts who appreciate its timeless look, give us a call and come to see it in real. The BMW E24 is the first generation of BMW 6 Series range of grand tourer cars, which was produced from January 1976 to 1989 and replaced the BMW E9 coupés. The E24 was produced solely in a 2-door coupés body style. All models used petrol straight-six engines, with the majority using a version of the BMW M30 engine family. The E24 is based on the E12 5 Series platform. The E24 was designed by Paul Bracq. Unlike its E9 predecessor, the body of the E24 has a B pillar. The initial proposal for the E24 was based on a BMW E9 3.0 CS with an increased height, in order to make it easier for customers to get into the car. However, Bob Lutz rejected the proposal, eventually leading to the shape of the E24 in its production form. Production started in January 1976 with the 630CS and 633CSi in February 1976. A total of 86,216 cars were built prior to production ending in April 1989. Our Alpina tribute comes in the most beautiful color combination inside and out. One of her owners enjoyed her for over 10 years in Austria. After which she spent two years with a Belgian owner. She was sold new in Zwitserland. • 1997 Porsche 993 Targa

The Porsche 911 Type 993, the top of the air-cooled era and the last of its kind, was produced between 1993 and 1998. The 993 was the fourth generation of the Porsche 911. Its front wings were wider and significantly flatter. Its rear wings were also wider and ran in a straighter line to the rear. The Targa model was launched in 1996, featuring a panoramic glass sliding roof that opened smoothly at the push of a button and retracted behind the rear window. For the first time, this new Targa concept offered open-top driving pleasure without fundamentally changing the classic coupé roofline. A bit more than 4.500 units of the Porsche 993 Targa were produced between 1996 and 1998. The one we have for sale is a beautiful exemplar that was delivered new to The Netherlands in June 1997 in a very special and rare shade: Aventura Green. This metallic paint is a muted medium green with a subtle touch of blue-gray that exudes sophistication and makes it a standout choice for Porsche enthusiasts. The notice and take down procedure is described here: https://www.speedholics.com/copyright The Porsche 911 Type 993, the top of the air-cooled era and the last of its kind, was produced between 1993 and 1998. Purists will also appreciate the manual transmission knowing that the 993 was the first generation of the 911 to have a six-speed manual transmission included as standard. It found its way to Belgium in 2007, where it continued to be regularly maintained by Porsche specialists. In 2022, the current owner did not hesitate to spend nearly 19,000 EUR to restore the engine and put the car in prime mechanical condition. • 1996 MASERATI GHIBLI GT II 2.0

This is the second model of the Ghibli trilogy that was built from 1992 to 1998. Based on the Biturbo’s predecessor, Maserati decided to relaunch the Ghibli at the Turin Motor Show. This time, Marcello Gandini had the pleasure of designing the car and came with a brutal, even wild, look for a sportscar offering a balanced combination of comfort and sportiness. In response to the demand, the Ghibli II was equipped with a V6 engine that was considerably smaller in capacity with 2.0 litres but did not disappoint. The 302 horses made the car accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometres an hour (0-60 mph) in less than six seconds. The Ghibli II is rare to find on the market. Approximately 2,500 examples of them were built in total. GTs appeared in 1995 after the acquisition of Maserati by the Fiat group. Their rear frame has been replaced by the one used on other cars of the group (such as that of the Ferrari 456 for example) which makes them much more reliable than the first Biturbos. And quite interesting to note is that only 166 Ghibli GT were made in the 2.0L version. The one we present here for sale is painted in a very elegant color : Blue Sera. The high-class beige interior combines beautifully crafted leather, Alcantara and precious woods. This is the last Maserati model produced with a hand-made interior trim. It has been well enjoyed by its previous owners with 138.000 km on the counter. The vehicle was produced for the Italian market in 1996 and stayed in the hands of the first owner for 6 years. In 2005, it was imported to the Netherlands and cherished for another 8 years. A French gentleman bought the Ghibli in 2013 and sold it back to the current owner in 2015. The car has been registered in Belgium since then and drives occasionally for pleasure. Globally, the vehicle is in good condition. The paint shows a nice shine with no traces of rust. Has never been accidented. Regularly maintained by Maserati official dealers or specialists (all invoices available). Interested ? Do not hesitate to visit us.
