  • 1969-lancia-fulvia-coupe-rallye-16-hf-fanalone

One of the approximately 20 Fanalones built in 1969 by Lancia in RHD at the request of Lancia GB Ltd. These cars were identical to the LHD Fanalones mechanically but for the UK market were fitted with stainless steel bumpers, glass to the side windows instead of Plexi and had thin floor carpets instead of rubber mats. This particular chassis 1103 is one of the first road cars built after the works competition cars. It is finished in the rare colour of Jamaica Blue and has the optional Fusina steering wheel. It was first registered on the 3rd September 1969 in Cheshire but I have no information as yet on either the first or second owner. The third owner I believe was David Scheldt of Scheldt and Pettet, Lancia specialists in London. I understand he used the car in various competition events over a number of years before eventually selling it to the fourth owner David MacKenzie? of London. He restored the car over a number of years and it appeared at an event at Covent Garden in September 2003. The car was then acquired in 2009 by the fifth owner, a Swiss gentleman, who had homes in the UK. He undertook a complete mechanical refresh both at Richard Thorne and Omicron where the engine and gearbox were rebuilt. I purchased the car from Lukas Huni, Zurich, Switzerland in 2013. The car had not been formally exported from the UK so retained it’s UK V5. It has required further cosmetic work in my ownership to get it to the condition it is in today and has covered about 3K miles since the engine / gearbox rebuild. 1969 Lancia Fulvia Coupe Rallye 1.6 HF Fanalone The Classic Motor Hub If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1991 Mercedes-Benz Isdera Imperator 108i

The annals of automotive history are full of countless visionaries — designers, engineers, and businessmen with daring, enterprising visions to strike out on their own and realize their own dreams of automotive glory. One need only think of modern-day luminaries such as Horacio Pagani or Christian von Koenigsegg to acknowledge the great feats of performance carried out by comparatively small start-up companies with a David-and-Goliath mentality. And while these visionaries are not uncommon, what is in fact quite rare is for the resulting car to be so competitive that it can take on the established supercars from Italian, Germany, and the United States. Such is the story of Isdera and its Imperator 108i, which in a contemporary road test at Road & Track in 1987 on Volkswagen's Ehra-Lessien test track stunned the testers by sparring with the Lamborghini Countach 5000 QV and Alois Ruf's now-legendary CTR Yellowbird. Its Mercedes-Benz-derived V8 propelled the car to 60 mph in only five seconds, onward to a top speed of 176 mph — an extraordinary top speed for its time! So, what exactly was this Imperator? The Isdera concern was founded in 1982 by the German entrepreneur Eberhard Schulz with an acronym that translated states “Engineering Company for Styling, Design, and Racing.” His path to success in the automotive industry is certainly among the most atypical, as he constructed a home-built sports car in the late 1960s, named the Erator GTE, powered by a variety of engines and with clear design cues from the GT40 and Gullwing-style doors necessitated by the use of spaceframe construction. Driving the car to Porsche's and Mercedes-Benz's headquarters in search of employment, he was taken on by Porsche's styling and concept department where he remained for a number of years. By 1978, having teamed up with Rainer Buchmann of b&b, the duo unveiled the CW311 concept car, a modern interpretation of the 300 SL Coupe and the forebearer of the car we see here today. While the car was powered by a Mercedes-Benz V8 and even had the company's blessing to wear the legendary three-pointed star, mass production was not forthcoming and so, Schulz, unfettered as always, ultimately struck out on his own, effectively forming Isdera with that express purpose in mind. The vaunted Imperator 108i is what followed, a low-production supercar built from 1984 to 1993, in a total run of only 30 units. While little changed in concept from the original CW311, including the fiberglass body built in a steel spaceframe, the most noticeable design changes to the wedge shape were the elimination of pop-up headlamps and the replacement of the taillights with Mercedes-Benz units. Underneath the bonnet at the rear, the use of Mercedes-Benz V8s started with an M117 unit, mated to a ZF five-speed transmission, and ever-increasing displacement options as Mercedes further developed its V8 platform. The Imperator 108i we have the pleasure of presenting here is a particularly fascinating and enticing example. Of the 30 examples built, 17 were completed after a design facelift was conducted for 1992, which included the return of pop-up headlamps and revised bodywork with added side vents, among other changes. As such, the first iteration of the Imperator design, about 13 cars, was only produced at a rate of between one and two cars per year. This particular car is one of the very last first-series cars, ordered at the start of 1990, according to a copy of its original Isdera vehicle data card on file. Handwritten notes on the same document reveal an anticipated delivery date of early 1991 to “Isdera-Japan”, although the ordering client is listed as Sunport London, Ltd. in the UK, “Concessionaire: M. Thackwell.” While it is known that at least one Imperator was delivered to Japan, Eberhard Schulz's response, on his own letterhead to a former owner indicates this was a “European model delivery to UK market.” In fact, a later advertisement for the car's offering suggests it was the only such example delivered to the UK and even refers to Thackwell as the actual owner. Certainly the involvement of “M. Thackwell,” believed to be Mike Thackwell, is particularly interesting! A former racing driver from New Zealand, he perhaps most famous for being one of the youngest drivers to ever start a Formula One Grand Prix. While his motorsport career took various turns, from Formula 2, 3, and 3000, as well as sports cars (including a win at the Nürburgring 1,000 km race in a Sauber C8), he has since retired from racing altogether. As for the car's specification, it is particularly desirable and attractive. The aforementioned data card, specifically mentions the car's 5.0-liter Mercedes-Benz M119 V8, “Code 960”, which of course was produced from 1989 to 1999, available in various displacements and in this configuration, put out well over 300 horsepower. Specified in “Porsche Indish Rot,” or Guards Red, the car presents in the very same color combination today, complemented by a black leather interior with Recaro bucket seats. By 2007 the car resided in the UK with Peter Hartnett of London and was registered with the number “TEX 4.” Since that time, the car has arrived stateside and been maintained in a highly regarded private collection, where it has kept company with some of the most exquisite supercars and racing cars in the world. It remains in very good condition and with an odometer reading of less than 3,500 kilometers, the car's state appears to be commensurate with a low-mileage car that has been well cared for. Aside from posters on teenage bedroom walls or online videos of high-speed track days on European racing circuits, Isdera Imperators are rarely ever seen in public and are even more infrequently seen at auction. The offering of such an exceptional example, showing such low mileage, in such an attractive specification is particularly noteworthy. A classic wedge shape, the roar of a throaty Mercedes-Benz V8, and a classic five-speed transmission — contemporary supercars will surely just be a dot in the rearview mirror! 1991 Mercedes-Benz Isdera Imperator 108i Mouse Motors LLC If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1966-lotus-elan-s3

This particular 1966 Lotus Elan S3, Chassis # 36/5819, is a very early S3 finished in the proper shade of green with a contrasting Black interior. While this car’s early story has unfortunately been lost to time, we do know that it was purchased by a Mr. Brian Stark sometime around 2001 as a driver-condition example ripe for a restoration. He wanted to use as many original parts as possible in bringing this Lotus back to the condition it deserved to be in, and spent the next 15 years or so meticulously sourcing those parts and restoring it. By 2015 the Lotus Elan was left in a well-restored state. The engine was completely rebuilt with new Weber carbs, mounts, pumps, and a Pertronix distributor complete with a coil and wires. The radiator, starter, generator, wiper motor, window motors, and airbox were restored, but a new thermostat, heater valve, hoses, belts, and intake were installed alongside them. The exhaust headers were also Jet-Hot coated for improved performance and protection. The transmission was also rebuilt with new shifter bushings, a new clutch assembly, new mounts, U-joints, and spring doughnuts. Underneath, the frame was stripped, reinforced, and powder-coated, with new Lotocones for the rear uprights, new coilover shocks, springs, and perches, and new wheel bearings. Likewise, the steering rack and gas tank were restored, and the latter received a new fuel filler neck and sending unit. All brake components, including the master cylinder and all lines, were replaced, while the calipers were rebuilt. The electrical system was not ignored either, with a new wiring harness installed, complete with a new battery, fuse block, voltage regulator, fuses, and relays. The body and interior received some love as well, with the fiberglass properly tended to and new paint applied. New bumpers, a new windshield, new chrome trim, moldings, & emblems, along with a new auto antenna were also installed. Inside, just about everything was replaced. The Elan got a new headliner and visors, a new leather dash pad, a new Africa Rosewood dash, new carpets, a new center console, new trim pieces and moldings, new window felt, new seat covers, a new rear deck, a new steering wheel, a new radio with speakers, a new trunk wood kit, and whatever gauges needed rebuilding were also tended to. Despite all the work, the Lotus wasn’t completely finished before other projects took priority. Thus, in 2017 the car passed to its current owner, sight unseen. The current owner began finishing what Mr. Stark had started. They did as much of the work as they could on their own before bringing it to Ragtops & Roadsters in Perkasie, PA, for some further sorting and fine-tuning. The speedometer cable was adjusted, a new heater valve was installed, new rear suspension springs were fitted, a new Facet electric fuel pump was installed, the starter was rebuilt, and the spare wheel was made to match the others on the car before receiving a new tire and being reinstalled into the trunk. In July 2023, the Elan also received a new correct style muffler from R.D. Enterprises, Ltd. in Quakertown, PA. Following the Elan’s much-awaited completion, it attended several concours events where it received approvals and accolades. One such mention was at the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum’s “Best of Britain 2025 featuring Lotus” show for its immaculate condition and perfect representation of what Lotus stands for. This is likely one of the finest examples of a 1966 Lotus Elan S3 available on the market. The no expense spared restoration has left it in a very high-quality state of both presentation and correctness, while still retaining all of the aesthetic and mechanical characteristics that the Elan is famous for. Included in the sale are all of the service records on file, restoration records, and a period brochure showcasing the Lotus Elan Coupe. As well as the tools, Service books, and spare. 1966 Lotus Elan S3 LBI Limited If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. The notice and take down procedure is described here: https://www.speedholics.com/copyright This particular 1966 Lotus Elan S3, Chassis # 36/5819, is a very early S3 finished in the proper shade of green with a contrasting Black interior. • 1967-aston-martin-db6-sports-saloon-vantage-specification

The culmination of the Aston Martin’s long running line of ‘DB’ six-cylinder sports saloons and thus considered by many to be the last ‘real’ Aston, the DB6 was introduced in 1965, updating the DB5. Although recognisably related to the Touring-styled DB4 of 1958, the DB6 abandoned the Superleggera body structure of its predecessors in favour of a conventional steel fabrication while retaining the aluminium outer panels. Increased rear-seat space was the prime DB6 objective, so the wheelbase was now 4” longer than before, resulting in an extensive restyle with more raked windscreen, raised roofline and reshaped rear quarter windows. Opening front quarter lights made a reappearance but the major change was at the rear where a Kamm-style tail with spoiler improved the aerodynamics, greatly enhancing stability at high speeds. These many dimensional changes were integrated most successfully, the DB6’s overall length increasing by only 2”. The Tadek Marek-designed six-cylinder engine had been enlarged to 3,995cc for preceding DB5 and remained unchanged. Power output on triple SU carburettors was 282bhp, rising to 325bhp in Vantage specification, enabling it to reach 60mph in just over 8 secs and onto a top speed of 150mph. The Aston Martin DB6 Sports Saloon ‘Vantage Specification’ offered here at Autostorico is finished in Midnight Blue metallic with red leather interior with red carpets. Supplied through DH Bloomer in Grimsby, Chassis No: DB6/2749/R was first registered on the 14th of April 1967 and fitted with the following factory options; Vantage specification engine, Chrome wheels, Heated rear window, 3 Ear hub spinners, Motorola radio and electric aerial. Having had only had two former keepers prior to the current owner an avid Aston Martin enthusiast purchasing in December 2020. The car has subsequently undergone a complete restoration including works to the mechanicals and body regardless of cost. The engine was rebuilt to 4.2 Fast Road specification by marque specialist Warren Heath Engineering Ltd. Other works include a full bare metal respray, full re-trim including seats, re-wire, brake overhaul along with fitting an Aston Engineering suspension handling kit. Remaining in what can only be described as stunning condition this DB6 not only represents one of the finest examples in Britain but also drives extremely well. Supplied with an extensive history file including current V5 registration document, previous MOT’s and copy of original build sheet, Numerous restoration invoices totalling over £300,000, Owner’s handbooks and tool kit. 1967 Aston Martin DB6 Sports Saloon ‘Vantage Specification’ Autostorico Partners LLP If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. This stunning Ford Cortina GT Mk1, a rare left-hand drive Swiss-market example, is a beautifully prepared 1960s classic that competed in the prestigious 2023 Monte Carlo Historic Rally. Meticulously upgraded this car is ready for historic rallying or spirited road use. It is powered by an inline-four engine, bored to 1,561cc and fitted with Weber carburettors for enhanced performance, driving the rear wheels through a four-speed manual gearbox with Quaife internals and a Titan locking differential for superior handling. Acquired in March 2020 after long-term storage in Switzerland, it was imported to the UK and registered in January 2023. The car was extensively upgraded by Nine-W Race Engineering in Stockbridge, Hampshire, with over £40,000 invested in technical enhancements for rally performance. Having competed in the 2023 Monte Carlo Historic Rally and a few minor events, it has been driven sparingly since. Finished in striking Monaco Red paintwork with gold highlights, it pays homage to John Whitmore’s 1965 ETCC racecar and features an eye-catching airbrushed engine decal on the bonnet. The car rides on eight-spoke Minilite wheels fitted with Avon Turbospeed CR28 tyres. The black vinyl-trimmed cabin includes a wood-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel, red seatbelts, an analogue clock, and two USB ports for modern convenience. This Cortina combines classic style with rally-ready performance, making it a standout choice for collectors, enthusiasts, or historic rally competitors. 1965 Ford GT Cortina Mk1 D.K. • 1957-lancia-aurelia-b20s-gt

Lancia’s Aurelia platform impressed from the moment it was first unveiled to the public in 1950. Developed under the direction of gifted engineer, Vittorio Jano, the model—named for the ancient 239-mile Via Aurelia that linked Rome and Pisa—was bristling with industry-leading technology and clever thinking. From its unitary body construction and ingenious rear transaxle to the world’s first production V-6—a jewel of an engine with hemispherical combustion chambers and in-line valves—the Aurelia was quick, comfortable, and handled better than almost anything in its class. It was also the car that marked Lancia’s transition from small coachbuilder to mainstream manufacturer, and while the Aurelia initially broke cover in four-door Berlina guise, from the second year of production buyers could opt for the rakish B20 GT. Effortlessly stylish in its sharp two-door configuration, the coupé was a timeless shape that stood out even in the most glamorous company. It also had performance to match the looks, thanks to the introduction of an uprated 1,991 cc variant of Francesco de Virgilio’s groundbreaking V-6. There would be five major revisions leading to six distinct series during the Aurelia’s life. Among the more notable changes was the introduction of the 2,451-cc engine with the Series III, and the move from semi-trailing arms to a De Dion tube rear suspension with the Series IV—but it was the final Series VI variant that would prove the most usable and refined. Not only did it benefit from the technological advancements of the earlier series, the run-out model also featured a number of subtle revisions ranging from improved sound insulation to opening quarter-light windows. 1957 Lancia Aurelia B20S GT D.K. • 1996-ferrari-f355-gtb-1

The eight-cylinder of the 90s: the Ferrari F355 Berlinetta! The F355 was an ode to the 348, the last Ferrari with a standard manual transmission. The type designation was a surprise for the purists: the first two digits still indicated the cylinder capacity, but the last digit was no longer the number of cylinders, but the number of valves. Consistency, Enzo, consistency! As soon as you wake up the light-footed Otto cilindri a V, you quickly forget about it. In fact: we catch ourselves doing it every time with a childish grin. What a party it is to let those 380 Italian horses loose at more than 8200 rpm! Everything is sensazione pura: the dials are focused on the driver, her road holding is filthy good and when the oil is up to temperature, she likes to show it to your right hand via the aluminum stick. Every time you press the gas pedal, wait for Pavarotti's petrol brother and end up with: clack-clack through the aluminium guides. Do you feel it? Ours? As it should be. Delivered new in the Netherlands at Kroymans in 1996, finished in the iconic Rosso Corsa. 51 thousand kilometres, exclusively maintained by Forza Service and Kroymans. Largely still in its original paint and always remained in the Netherlands. Of course, all documentation is available. Burning questions? We are happy to help you! • 1969-chevrolet-camaro

This incredibly charismatic Chevrolet Camaro was built in 1969 at GM’s Norwood factory in Ohio, and over the past 30 years it has enjoyed a long career in historic racing. After being imported to the UK by Ryland Rogers in North Wales during the early 1990s, it was sold to Hugo Dixon in May 1994 and prepared for motorsport use. It was subsequently raced in the Historic Sports Car Club’s Road Sports series before being sold to Nick Savage in April 2012. The Camaro’s new owner had it restored and race-prepared by muscle-car specialist Martin Savill of Aldershot, and invoices show that he spent almost £60,000 on it between 2012 and 2019. Originally imported to the UK in 396ci (6489cc) RS/SS specification, it now features a 350ci (5735cc) engine, as offered for the Camaro in period. The small-block V8 was rebuilt in 2014 and its current spec includes high-performance Dart II cylinder heads, TRW pistons, an Eagle forged-steel crankshaft and Eagle con-rods. The compression ratio is 9.8:1 and the engine breathes through a Holley 750cfm carburettor. Hedman 1.75in exhaust manifolds have also been fitted. At the rear is a 12-bolt Chevrolet rear axle that was built and set up by Jeff Hauser, and the engine drives through a Muncie ‘rock crusher’ straight-cut, close-ratio, four-speed gearbox. Global West quick-ratio steering has been installed, along with Corvette JL8-option brakes. In 2019, the Camaro was fully rewired and its subframe was rebuilt. A strengthened gearbox casing was also fitted. Inside, the car has been stripped for competition use and there are Sparco seats with Willans harnesses, plus a bolt-in roll cage. Whether it’s once again prepared for competition use or just enjoyed as a thunderous road car, this Chevrolet Camaro is offered for sale as an extremely quick and entertaining example of this ever-popular muscle car. 1969 Chevrolet Camaro The Classic Motor Hub If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1975-lancia-stratos

For many enthusiasts, the Lancia Stratos is one of the definitive ‘poster cars’ of the 1970s, offering not only a striking blend of Bertone styling and Ferrari’s sonorous V6 engine, but also a long history of motorsport success. The car being offered for sale here is chassis number 001951. Its factory Certificato di Origine shows that it was sold new in September 1975 to Germany as a Stradale model, and was finished in Rosso Stratos with Pelle Nera interior. The Stratos has subsequently been converted to full Group 4 specification, with painstaking attention to detail. The Group 4 body panels were created using the original tooling in Italy, while the suspension is fully Rose-joined. There are also Bilstein dampers all round with ride-height adjustment, plus an Eibach adjustable anti-roll bar front and rear. The front suspension features strengthened lower arms and Group 4-spec track-control arms, while at the rear there are alloy hub carriers, plus strengthened lower wishbones and radius arms. A Group 4 high-ratio steering rack has been installed with 2.5 turns lock to lock, while the braking system includes four-piston calipers and dual Girling master cylinders with adjustable bias. The five-speed dog ’box is also to full Group 4 specification, and the 15in Campagnolo-style magnesium wheels have been fitted with Pirelli tyres. The 2.4-litre Dino V6 engine features ported and gas-flowed Group 4 heads with 45mm inlet valves and 39mm exhaust valves. High-compression pistons have been installed, along with an Arrow steel crankshaft and con-rods. It breathes through a trio of Weber 44 IDF carburettors and has a Group 4 air filter and box. There’s also a lightened flywheel, baffled sump and a six-into-one exhaust manifold. Inside, there’s an integral roll cage, Recaro seats, OMP harnesses, a Lifeline fire extinguisher and analogue rally clocks. Not only is this Lancia Stratos superbly finished throughout, with a huge specification, it is truly spectacular to drive and boasts a soundtrack that evokes the glory days of 1970s rallying. It would certainly be a crowd-pleasing addition to any event for which it was entered. 1975 Lancia Stratos The Classic Motor Hub If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. General Overview In 1965, Carroll Shelby put his name on his first K-code Mustang fastback. The GT 350 packed the potent 289/271 hp engine and a host of other significant performance modifications, resulting in not only a remarkable performance car, but also becoming the formula for every American performance-based independent car manufacturer since. Ol’ Shel hit the right market with the right car - proven Mustang platform, American reliability, and sports car handling dismissed any worries about costly maintenance or difficulties acquiring parts. By 1968, sales and popularity of the Shelby brand allowed for more elaborate modifications to further differentiate the Shelby from the standard Mustang. The model line expanded with the GT350 and GT500 in both fastback and convertible body styles, receiving new body changes including a new grille, new front fascia, sculpted rear spoiler, unique vents and extractors along the side and sail panels of the car, new cast alloy wheels, fog lamps, and sequential tail lights. Inside the car a deluxe interior with a fully integrated roll bar was featured along with a full complement of instrumentation and of course, race inspired amenities. The GT 350 package included the powerful 302 engine, 4bbl carburetor, dual exhaust, and 4-speed manual transmission. A total of 404 convertible models were built in 1968, 214 of which were factory optioned with the desirable 4-speed manual transmission. Though the early history of this car is not currently known, this Maserati Mistral is known to have been titled and registered in Utah in 1981, signed off to the next owner in 1982, and subsequently delivered to a body and paint shop to be refinished in red. By the 1990s this Maserati had languished as unfinished project in long term storage at the auto repair establishment. Eventually the car was sold to Fantasy Junction who obtained parts to bring it to running order and offered it for sale. The current owner purchased this car in 1995 from Fantasy Junction. After his purchase, he began acquiring components and unique Mistral trim parts to begin restoration while concurrently engaging Epifani Restorations to refine the mechanicals. The owner, having restored other Italian cars with Epifani, was familiar with the process as work spanned 2000-2010 recording progress on the numerous invoices supplied by the Epifani team and included with this car. During this period, the owner held a clean California title while maintained annual license and registration with CA plate 3MNN921 spanning 1995-2013. Throughout this period the car was titled, licensed, and registered as AM109056, with the same number also referenced on the Epifani Restorations invoices.

In 2014, the current owner recounts that he did not receive his annual CA registration card and thus inquired with the DMV regarding the delay. The CA DMV notified the current owner that his car had been sold in 2012. Explaining that the car was still in his possession and much of a now costly restoration was nearing completion, the DMV assigned an inspector to research the situation. During the investigation, the inspector revealed that another car had been recorded with the DMV as VIN #AM109056. Upon examination of this car, the inspector was unable to locate a confirming VIN stamp on the car in order to conclusively indicate it was AM109056. There had been no reports of theft, no insurance claims with the number, and no irregularities associated with the VIN, so the investigation continued. Referencing the Maserati engine number, the engine number was subsequently correlated and confirmed to have been built at the factory as AM109054. The inspector authorized an original stamped VIN plate, verified the proper installation of the plate and submitted the car for title and registration as AM109054 in 2014. This title and registration have since been retained under the same ownership for the past eleven years. Today this Maserati, the VIN AM109054, DMV authorized VIN plate, the matching engine with factory number, and the CA title remain consistent with Maserati records now documented and verified by the CA DMV. During the period spanning 2000-2011 Epifani restorations performed extensive work on this car including engine work, machining, electrical wiring and switch repair work, brake booster, servo, clutch system work including new slave and master cylinders, new axle hubs and bearings with new brackets and fittings, new front and rear brake calipers, new brake lines, new emergency brake components, fuel system refurbishment including new fuel lines, fuel pump and regulator, electrical window motor rebuild, new wiring, new radiator hoses, new breather tubes, new coil wires, new distributor rotor, new spark plug wires and plugs, seat belts installed, dash removed for wiring repairs and gauge services, to name just a few of the many detailed items serviced, repaired, or replaced on this car. Epifani Restorations receipts total more than $50k not including the cost of specialized parts procured by the owner. Condition Overview Today, this Maserati presents as a handsome example ideal for further restoration or to enjoy as is. An excellent candidate for local shows and tours, the finishes and mechanical performance are appropriate for enthusiasts who enjoy driving and taking on various mechanical tasks as needed or gradually improving cosmetics to suit their tastes. Finished in vivid red, the paint is glossy and smooth though shows signs of age consistent with application in the 1990s. There are several small circular “fisheyes” in the paint (approx. 1/6” diameter) on the front surfaces which are visible when viewed closely. The panel fit and closures are generally very good, including the doors which open and close properly, though the rear hatch opens and latches, but the panel gaps are not symmetrical. Unlike many Mistrals, the front and rear bumpers are in excellent condition and fit properly to the front and rear of the car. The glass is in excellent condition as are the delicate chrome trim window surrounds, door handles, rocker trim, and amber side marker lights. The car sits on beautifully polished Borrani wire wheels with triple-ear knockoffs wearing a set of 205/70 VR15 Michelin tires. The dramatically sloped rear glass hatchback is a unique design feature to this model, accented by characteristically Frua side glass and sweeping body lines.

The interior was sensitively restored some years ago and remains well balanced including a very nicely maintained dashboard, longitudinally pleated headliner, carpeted rear storage area, and matching floor carpeting. The leather seats are comfortable with just the right give to the seat bolstering indicating gentle use over the past 30 years of current ownership. The door panels, armrests, and center console are in very good to excellent condition. The dash and gauges are in excellent condition with well-defined dial faces, correct switches and various knobs, and a finely finished wood rim steering wheel. Raising the rear glass hatch, the rear storage compartment is finished with matching tan carpet, concealing an easily accessible Borrani (millimeter sized) wheel located under the floorboard.

The engine and engine compartment are reflective of the care and detailing performed over the years with refinishing to original specifications and modest age to the various finishes. The fuel-injection unit has been removed and retained as spares with the car, while triple DCOE 151 Weber carburetors are in place with individually matched rectangular air filters. The engine displays generally correct rebuilt original components, proper hardware, factory type fasteners, and the correct satin black cam cover finish. When the car is parked, the engine drips oil on the ground which grows larger over a week or two. Although the car is operational, the shift lever requires some finesse when shifting, indicating the gearbox syncros will require attention in the future. The underside of the car is straight, and solid, though not restored. There is no evidence of structural compromise to the chassis or suspension mounting points. The exhaust system is correct and the various engine and transmission castings are in very good condition. Included with the car This Maserati comes with the original fuel-injection unit, air cleaner, other injection-based parts, a Blaupunkt radio, a spare Michelin tire and inner tube , a spare ignition tumbler and key, a Weber carburetor manual, and Maserati spare parts book. 1965 Maserati Mistral Fantasy Junction If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer.
