The postwar period was favorable for the revival of European automobile production. Several manufacturers developed new sports models that soon competed in major competitions. British brands were no exception, including the most prestigious brands such as Aston Martin, Jaguar, Austin-Healey, MG, and Triumph. Among these flagships, AC Cars experienced a new lease of life thanks to the addition of a particularly elegant and racy sports car to its range, which would cement the brand's reputation. Introduced at the London Motor Show in late 1953, the new model, called the Ace, benefited from a lightweight tubular frame chassis designed by the brilliant Anglo-Portuguese engineer John Tojeiro, whose designs proved particularly effective in competition. Equipped with four independent wheel suspensions and a two-seat, spider-style aluminum body reminiscent of the Ferrari 166 MM and the Siata 208, the Ace was initially powered by the marque's pre-war 103 hp 6-cylinder engine. Aware that its latest model needed a more modern and powerful engine, the manufacturer signed a deal in 1956 with Bristol, which had revived the highly innovative 1971 cc M328 inline 6-cylinder engine with hemispherical combustion chambers that had powered the fast BMW 328 since 1936. Fitted to the British roadster, it was fed by three downdraft Solex carburettors and produced a whopping 120 hp, enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 9 seconds and a top speed of just under 190 km/h. Bristol also committed to supplying AC Cars with its Type 100 transmission, which was far superior to the in-house model. In 1957, an AC Ace Bristol competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, demonstrating its exceptional reliability and performance. With Ken Rudd and Peter Bolton at the wheel, the small English car finished 10th overall, sandwiched between numerous factory cars, with an average speed of 157.52 km/h and a top speed of 209 km/h at the Hunaudières corner. The model continued to be successful in the race in subsequent years, particularly with a remarkable 7th place in the 1959 edition. That year, a certain Carroll Shelby won the race at the wheel of an Aston Martin DBR1. The Texan would remember the performance of the small AC and, a few years later, write a new chapter in the brand's history with the legendary Cobra. This gives the Ace Bristol an important and pivotal place in the brand's history. The example we offer (BEX1160) is one of 463 Bristol-engined vehicles produced from a total production run of 724 Aces. It was delivered new in New York with left-hand drive and was first registered on June 16, 1960. It was found equipped with a V8 engine in the 1980s. However, the original engine was preserved and restored in the 1990s by renowned British specialist Brian Classic. EXTERIOR The body features the original front and rear hoods bearing the number 1160. The dark red metallic paint dates back to the restoration in the 1990s and has a beautiful overall patina. The classicData appraiser's examination, with extensive photographic documentation, shows that the vehicle's underbody is free of impact marks, deformation, or significant corrosion. The wire wheels are fitted with new vintage Michelin tires. The spare tire is present and included. The vehicle has a tonneau cover and a convertible top with windows. The original tools (jack, crank, and hammer) are also included. INTERIOR The black leather interior is beautifully crafted. The left side of the driver's seat shows signs of wear. The instruments are complete, true to the original, and, according to the seller, in perfect condition, including the clock. The fuel gauge glass shows signs of corrosion (photo 108). The original mileage/hour meter has been replaced with a speedometer scaled in km/h (photo 108). MECHANICAL The engine, with a matching number, was recently completely overhauled by a French brand specialist. The compression of all cylinders was checked and is in good condition. During the restoration, an electric fan was installed and the exhaust was replaced with a stainless steel one. Currently, a 5-speed Alfa Romeo transmission is installed, but the original 4-speed gearbox (without overdrive) is supplied with the car. The AC Ace Bristol offered here features the then-available option of front disc brakes. 1960 AC Ace Bristol DLS Automobile If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1963-porsche-356b-t6-super-90

This very beautiful 356B T6 S90 (Super 90) was supplied new in April 1963. The first owner was an American Air Force officer stationed at the Ramstein Airforce Base in Germany. He had his new car delivered to Germany where he used the car until his service time was up. The owner and his car then moved to America, where the owner retained his 356 until his death. Then the car came into the hands of his daughter. She decided to sell the car as she wasn’t really very interested. We bought the car in 2013 and sold it to a Dutch automobile aficionado, who, however, drove the car sporadically. This 356 S90 is still in an excellent and rust-free state. The body was repainted once, in the 1990s, and of course it was repainted in the original colour, Champagne Yellow 6205B. In 1986, the engine was replaced by a KD engine. The code KD stands for Kunden Dienst. Engines with this code are engines that have been overhauled at the Porsche factory and so, this engine is the correct one for this 356B T6. At the request of the owner, the odometer was reset to zero after the new engine had been installed. This has been duly documented and the evidence is part of a large amount of old invoices. The car has since driven some 11,000 mls. only. 1963 Porsche 356B T6 Super 90 Veni Vidi Vici Classic Cars BV If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1966 Maserati Mexico 4.7 Coupe by Vignale

The Maserati Mexico, with its dignified lines by Vignale’s Virginio Vairo, airy, luxuriously trimmed cabin, and powerful V-8 engine, epitomizes the notion of the stylish, mid-century Italian grand tourer. A two-door development of the Maserati Quattroporte saloon, it was also technologically advanced as the first production Maserati equipped with four-wheel servo-assisted ventilated disc brakes. This very early and numbers-matching engine Mexico, chassis 026, is confirmed by correspondence with Maserati Classiche as the 13th example built, completed on 2 November 1966. It is one of approximately 485 produced, of which just 175 were believed equipped with the 290-horsepower 4.7-liter DOHC V-8 engine. Under prior ownership, the car was sent to Mike Wilson’s Restorations of Visalia, California, during which time the car was disassembled, and its numbers-matching engine sent out to be rebuilt. Chassis 026 then passed to a subsequent owner who entrusted it to noted restorer David Zumstein of Abingdon West Ltd. in Fallbrook, California for what would become a two-year, comprehensive mechanical and cosmetic freshening, including retrimming the interior in supple cognac leather and refinishing the exterior in the handsome, Jaguar-sourced color of Opalescent Blue metallic. Desirably specified with factory air conditioning, power windows, and a ZF five-speed manual transmission, this Mexico is further equipped with a Becker Europa AM/FM stereo, and five correct Borrani wire wheels shod in Pirelli P4000 tires. Scores of restoration invoices and correspondence with Maserati Classiche confirming it to retain its original 4.7-litre engine complete the sale. Featuring a thorough sorting and confirmed authenticity, this Maserati Mexico 4.7-liter Coupe remains ideally suited to the task for which it was designed: Luxurious, spirited drives of any duration. 1966 Maserati Mexico 4.7 Coupe by Vignale RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1954 Alfa Romeo Disco Volante

We do not want to and cannot reinvent the history of the automobile. So first of all: This is not one of the three official vehicles of this legendary type that exist worldwide. Two of them are in the Alfa Romeo Museum, one in the former Schlumpf Museum in Mulhouse. But at the same time we also assure you: Our example presented here is closer to these three original vehicles than any other examples we know of. If you read specialist books and delve into the post-war period of the 1950s, you inevitably come closer to the common practice and reality of the time. Especially if you internalize the creativity and imagination of the Italian car manufacturers and get to know their common practice at the time - at this point we would like to remind you of the multi-talented Giotto Bizzarrini - you will know at this point at the latest what a factory like Alfa Romeo was capable of was when paying with hard currency. You can argue about all sorts of things with the most intimate knowledge of the time, but there is one thing that all connoisseurs and insiders agree on: nothing was impossible, and a lot of exceptions confirm a porous rule that can be followed. With emphasis on “can”… This Disco Volante is not a factory-built vehicle, but was built in October 1954 with the correct tubular space frame, correct drive train (engine, transmission, rear axle), brakes, chassis, and finally correct aluminum body by Coriasco in the correct dimensions, weight and specifications Built at the request and on behalf of a Milanese Alfa customer with all the essential original parts of the Disco Volante, after this type of Alfa Romeo itself got stuck in the prototype stage and the project had officially “died”. The car was recently given a makeover worth around 60,000 euros to revitalize it - after it was found neglected and incomplete in Great Britain. We have his complete history from 1954 onwards, which allows us to document his individual stations. Its 1900 SS engine, prepared by Conrero, was completely overhauled - as were the braking system and all essential parts of the chassis. The vehicle has German road and H registration. We are also expecting to receive a nobility from the FIA/FIVA organization shortly, which will mean that all doors are open to this Alfa Romeo to take part in the most important events such as Mille Miglia, Le Mans Classic or Goodwood. 1954 Alfa Romeo Disco Volante DLS Automobile If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1965-alfa-romeo-giulia-spider

Some collectors are truly devoted to this family of models, which express Italy, the fifties and carefree living better than a long speech. A brand with such a rich past that Alfa Romeo, so sporty, could only succeed in marketing this small car in coupe, convertible and saloon versions. For all tastes, almost for all budgets, the Giulietta has honoured the glorious past of this Milanese firm. Strangely enough, France is at the origin of the Alfa Romeo company. In 1909, the Italian branch of the Darracq company was for sale, and a group of Italian industrialists took an interest. Not to continue producing these cars whose reputation had spread beyond the Alps, but to produce cars more suited to the Italian market in the midst of a crisis. Thus was created A.L.F.A., which stands for Anonima Lombarda Fabrica Automobili, and which adopted as its emblem the Red Cross on a white background of the city of Milan, and the Visconti Serpent. These beautiful symbols did not bring A.L.F.A. luck at first, because the ‘fabrica’ was put up for sale in the autumn of 1915. And it was a certain engineer by the name of Nicola Romeo who acquired the Portello factory. It will be understood without delay that the true history of Alfa Romeo can begin. From the end of the Great War, Alfa Romeo made horses talk by participating in and winning numerous races. The first drivers to shine in these cars were Sivocci, Campari, Ramponi and Ferrari. The latter, a young beginner named Enzo, would play a key role in Alfa's reputation, as he would race these cars in his already famous Scuderia from 1929 onwards. It was in fact on Alfa bonnets that the first prancing horse emblems would appear. All these events led the public to associate Alfa Romeo with racing, sport and triumph. And the Formula 1 world championship titles won by Farina and Fangio in 1950 and 1951 did nothing to dispel the impression of powerful aggression that emanated from the brand with the cloverleaf. With the Giulietta, Alfa Romeo entered a new area of activity: mass production. Alfa abandoned competition at the end of 1951, covered in laurels, and as the technicians at the Portello factory were steeped in competition, it was not ordinary, anonymous products that would be the fruit of their labour. In 1954, the Giulietta was timidly released, its name a tribute to William Shakespeare and the tragedy that inspired it. The ambiguity of these cars lies in the fact that the name Giulietta corresponded to a 1300 cc engine. Later, the Giulia would have a 1600 engine. However, it became customary to call these cars Giulietta, regardless of their engine. We could talk for hours about Alfa Romeo engines alone, we could write a book about these little mechanical marvels. This brand, which has earned a worldwide reputation in this field, has clearly demonstrated its expertise and talent by producing generations of confidential ‘big’ 6 and 8-cylinder engines. But, most surprisingly, it was equally at ease in the development of this very attractive little four-cylinder aluminium engine with double overhead camshafts (driven by chains), intended for mass production. Note that the combustion chambers of this engine are hemispherical and the spark plugs are central. This engine is above all an Alfa Romeo, a brilliant and noisy piece of precision engineering, with a superb intake noise, that sonorous and characteristic hum that begins when the carburettor body opens fully. Delivered new in France, our Giulia has undergone a complete nut and bolt restoration, in that superb "Blue Celeste" livery and the photos speak for themselves. Used occasionally on sunny weekends, it is now time to find it a new home. • 1976 Ferrari 308 GTB

With the arrival of the Dino 308 GT4, the 246 retired leaving a gap in the range. Indeed, following this departure, the Italian manufacturer no longer offered two-seater coupes with "small" engines. And it is not the 308 GT4 with four seats, designed by Bertone that was going to fill this gap. In short, Ferrari needed a solution, a small berlinette designed by Pininfarina, and quickly! The answer to this problem was brought in 1975 by the Ferrari 308 GTB which at the same time abandoned the Dino emblem to become a full-fledged Ferrari. Two cars were presented during the 1975 Paris Motor Show (a yellow one (Giallo Fly) at Pozzi and a blue one (Azzurro metalizzato) at Pininfarina), as Lauda had just won the Formula 1 title, and the berlinette with features inspired by the 365 GT4 BB was a great success. It must be said that the (shortened) base of the 308 GT4 was technically good, and that the 308 GTB brought to it all that was expected from a Ferrari. Namely a powerful and sexy style! It had a similar mechanical layout to the Bertone-signed 308 GT4, but was equipped with only two seats. The bodywork, beautifully designed by Pininfarina, took some visual cues from the fantastic Dino 246 GT. The rapid arrival of the first 308 GTB was also made possible by the use of polyester for the bodywork (except for the aluminum hood). At the time, this material, in addition to being mastered and light, allowed a faster production. For a brand in a hurry to present a new product, it was ideal. And what a line! Lurking on the ground with its small 1.10m high, it has a cut as sultry as typical of its time. The front end is short, ready to devour the ground, with pop-up headlights and air vents, it doesn't get much more seventies! The profile is well balanced and very dynamic. It is helped by the homogeneity of the overhangs, the inclination of the front part, the obliquely truncated rear, the two big air intakes, or the black border underlining the body line in the shape of waves while breaking the volumes. However, only the first 808 examples called Ferrari 308 GTB "Vetroresina" were equipped with this polyester shell manufactured by Scaglietti. In June 1977, with the arrival of the GTS (Scoperta) convertible version, the 308s switched to a steel body, 150 kilos heavier. The V8 engine has nothing minor except its modest displacement of 2.9 liters. On the contrary, the "Tipo F106" is probably one of the major engines of the brand. Depending on its evolution, you will find it under the hood of all the normal V8 cars of the manufacturer (up to the 360 Modena), but also of the 288 GTO, the F40 etc. In short, this 90° V8 with flat crankshaft is a heavyweight! 16 valves, double overhead camshafts, dry sump, four Weber 40 DCNF carburetors, it's a racing gear! And of course, the output is excellent for the time with 87 hp/L, that is to say a total of 255 hp obtained at 7700 rpm. That said, these figures could lead one to fear a cruel lack of flexibility at low revs, but this is not the case thanks to the 284 Nm developed at 5000 rpm. Right from the start, the 308 GTB (B for Berlinetta) is a sensation. It is totally integrated in the Ferrari stylistic unit of the time while appearing even more balanced than the BB. Thanks to its polyester bodywork, it remained light (1090 kg) while offering high-level performance: 247 km/h, 1,000 m from a standing start in 25.4 seconds, and 0 to 100 km/h in just 7 seconds. The Porsche 911 is kept at distance. A fiberglass car can be differentiated thanks to a few details: it has a small attachment at the top of the windshield pillar, where it touches the roof. Other differences for the European version: the space for the rear license plate is plain, while the steel cars have a hollow there. The reverse lights are located in the bumper, while on the steel cars, they are located in the center of the turn signals. Given that the 308 GTB was never officially intended by the Ferrari factory to become a race car, it did end up with a quite significant competition career. Not so much on race tracks, but more impressively on rally stages. Apart from the famous Michelotto built Group 4 and Group B cars, a lot of privateers have modified 308s to use them in competition with the success we know! Our car is one of the first 308 Vetroresina: the most sought after. Produced in April 1976, #19189 left Maranello in an elegant "Blu Scuro" livery and a "Pelle beige" interior, equipped with optional air conditioning, spoiler and electric windows. It started its life in Italy, initially delivered in Bari to Mr. Andrea Andone with the registration number "TE20600". The car stayed in Italy with 3 known owners until 2014 when it was sold and exported to Germany. The new owner then began a complete 3 year restoration to bring the car back to its former glory. The result is still visible today: it looks like it just came out of the factory! No expense was spared and the heavy file of photos and invoices shows incredible attention to detail. The result of this work culminated in the issuance of the "Classiche Certificate" by Ferrari. In 2019, our 308 joined the private collection of a car enthusiast alongside other Italian gems. Offered with an impressive folder of photos and invoices, its Ferrari Classiche Red Book, and retaining its tools, accessories and delivery manuals, this is a very rare opportunity to purchase what is probably one of the most iconic Ferraris of the late 1970s! 1976 Ferrari 308 GTB Historic Cars If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. Indeed, following this departure, the Italian manufacturer no longer offered two-seater coupes with "small" engines. As Michele Alboreto stepped away from Formula 1 at the end of the 1994 season, the Milanese driver ended a 14-year career in the topflight, which included five seasons racing for Ferrari. In 1985, Alboreto had pushed for Ferrari’s first Drivers’ title since 1979, yet eventually settled for 2nd place in his stand-out season for the Scuderia. In life after F1 he raced for Schübel Engineering in the DTM and International Touring Car Championship, further to entries in IndyCar and the World Sportscar Championship—some of which from behind the wheel of a Ferrari, upholding his connection with the Maranello marque. On 8 August 1995, Alboreto took delivery of the Ferrari F355 Berlinetta offered here, which was supplied by Parisian dealer Charles Pozzi SA while the driver was living in Monaco. The sleek coupé was built in Nero Carbonio over a Beige leather interior—the colour combination it still shows today—while the Ferrari also retains its matching-numbers Tipo F129 engine. Accompanied by its Ferrari books and manuals, showing main dealer servicing on selected years, the F355 was most recently serviced by Scuderia Baldini in August 2024, and one month later the workshop fitted four Bridgestone Potenza tyres. Having been awarded Ferrari Classiche certification in December 2024, the car is offered with its “Red Book”. Offered with the provenance of a famous Ferrari F1 driver as its first owner, Scuderia fans should not miss the opportunity to bid on this Classiche-certified F355 Berlinetta. 1995 Ferrari F355 Berlinetta RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1973 Jensen Interceptor MK3

The story behind this collectible... "The only car that makes your mustache grow faster." - Jeremy Clarkson The Jensen Interceptor, a hand-built GT car from the Kelvin Way factory near Birmingham, a name with history, with previous incarnations dating back to the 1950s, is best known for its extraordinary coolness. What sets this car, the MKIII, apart is the evolution of materials. Jensen had long relied on fiberglass-reinforced plastic, resulting in cars that were nearly impossible to restore. However, the Interceptor marked a return to a steel body, designed by Italy's Carrozzeria Touring. About the same as a shot of limoncello next to the Beef Wellington! The Mark III, introduced in 1971, brought subtle modifications to the front end, headlights and bumpers. This version came standard with GKN alloy wheels and air conditioning, as well as revised seating. The production year determined whether you got a G-, H-, or J-series. In 1971, the 7.2-liter 440 ci engine replaced the 6.3-liter 383 ci engine. This is the 7.2-liter variant, and you can actually think of it as a British gentleman suddenly transformed into an American dandy. A tweed jacket and a huge mustache and a penchant for burgers. Our "Gentleman's Express" has recently received a careful dose of TLC, with rebuilt brakes and front suspension, and a new radiator. The car has been treated with great care to maintain the luster of rust-free perfection. Originally delivered in Paris, with the accompanying particularly cool yellow headlights, this example is in very clean condition. She comes from a collection and is ready for the next owner. 1973 Jensen Interceptor MK3 Cool Classic Club If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1970 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona

The world-famous Daytona name was unofficially conjured up by the press in recognition of the firms stunning 1-2-3 victory at 1967's Daytona 24 Hours and - the fact that it was the last front-engined Ferrari GT before the Fiat years also means it occupies a special place in Maranello history. The Daytona was a stopgap model between Ferrari's outgoing 275 GTB/4 and their mid-engined 365 GT4 Berlinetta Boxer, the development of which was running well behind schedule. Influenced by the fact they were beginning to suffer a number of financial problems, Ferrari decided to produce what was essentially an updated version of an existing model. However, despite the troubled background to its inception, Daytona's themselves were in no way affected. Ferrari produced what became the definitive GT of its time. The Daytona's motor is essentially an enlarged Tipo 226 60° V12 from the previous 275 GTB/4 and is designated Tipo 251. They have a displacement of 4.4-litres producing 352bhp at 7500rpm. At the time the Daytona became the world's fastest production car with a top speed of 175mph and 0-60 in 5.3 seconds - enough to eclipse every other manufacturer, even Lamborghini. Pininfarina designed the Daytona's bodywork exuding power from every angle. As a result the Daytona remains one of the most jaw-dropping GT's to this day. The 365 GTB/4 was launched during October 1968's Paris Salon and won enormous praise. It was the fastest production road car available and would be the last of Ferrari's front-engined GT's, a fact not lost on writers at the time. Relatively few official options were available, just wider Cromodora alloys, spoked Borrani wires, front bumper bars and air conditioning having been on the upgrade list. After two years Pininfarina carried out a front-end make-over resulting in retractable headlights in early-1971. As production went on, Ferrari made changes to the indicator lenses, later cars more often than not coming with exclusively orange items whereas earlier examples tended to get combination lenses. There was also a switch from aluminium to steel doors (these providing a little more side impact protection) and the arrival of a smaller-diameter leather-rimmed steering wheel. Production ceased in late 1973 to make way for the overdue mid-Flat-12-engined 365 GT4 Berlinetta Boxer. By this time, Ferrari had completed 1,284 GTB/4's, 158 of which were right-hand drive and came to the UK. With the USA accounting for such a large proportion of Ferrari sales by the end of the 1960s, it was inevitable that technicalities of federal law would play such a big part of how the Daytona looked. The early, ‘euro-specification’ examples featured the same sealed-beam headlight units that were required by U.S. legislation, hidden behind an elegant but sloped wraparound band of plexiglass. No prizes for guessing where the early cars found their nickname. Elegant, sporting and remarkably modern, the Daytona was the first Ferrari to see the integration of the headlights into the body. Unfortunately for Ferrari, U.S. legislation meant this was no-go. Fearful of impeding light travel, the law stipulated nothing be placed in front of the sealed-beam light units on a production car. As such, as the first Daytonas landed on the US shores, the nose was redesigned to incorporate the more traditional pop-up units. This example was supplied new to Austrian dealership Wolfgang Denzel of Vienna in 1970. Originally presented in Giallo Fly over Nero VM 8500, the Daytona would remain in Austria with its first keeper until 1974. At the time of purchase by Swede Anders Johnson, the car had been repainted in black with gold highlights in a livery particularly reminiscent of the John Player Special Lotus Formula 1 livery of the same year. The Daytona was refinished in Giallo and lightly fettled for competition use. Custodian Johnson would actively compete in the Daytona in road rallies in Sweden and extending into Europe for 20 years. The Daytona was subsequently sent to Johan Helenius of notable marque experts and restorers, Competition Motors. The restoration commenced and the Daytona was stripped to bare metal. Funds were short and the restoration progressed very slowly, changing hands in 2018 in a still uncompleted state to the current owner in Norway. The Daytona moved to Norway for the works to continue, but plans changed and the Daytona remained in a stripped state for four further year. Arriving at DK in 2022, the Daytona had been previously prepared for paint. We returned the car to its bare metal state with the original yellow remaining visible on the inside of the doors. At this time, the current owner decided to complete the restoration in Blu Dino, whilst retaining the Nero interior leather trim. From its arrival, DK Engineering have handled the reassembly and completion of the Daytona. With the car apart we turned our heads to the mechanical side. Whilst much of this work had been carried out previously, the owner was keen to have inspected again to ensure it was in good order before assembly began. As such, a top-end engine rebuild was carried out as well as a corrections to assembly of the rear differential. With the engine reinstalled, the original interior was refitted, ensuring the Daytona interior still cossets the drive as expected. As a late build 'plexi', this example received the later, smaller diameter steering wheel but retained the earlier seats without fitted headrests making for a much more inviting interior. The works were completed in November 2024. One of roughly 411 Plexiglass-nosed examples completed, this example presents on the button, fresh from restoration and ready for its next custodian. Presented in the period shade of Blu Dino, this wonderful 'matching numbers' Daytona is available to view at our showrooms outside London immediately. 1970 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona D.K. • 1974 Alfa Romeo GT 1300 Junior “GTA Tribute”

In February 1966, Alfa Romeo introduced the Giulia GT 1300 Junior (Tipo 105.30). It replaced the Giulia Sprint from the Tipo 101 series, which still had the Scaglione body from 1954, as the entry-level model. The 1300 GT Junior combined the body of the Bertone GT with the 1.3-litre engine already used in the Giulia range. From summer 1968, the Junior GT became the benchmark in the 1300 class as the GTA Junior. According to available documents, this exceptional Alfa Romeo was extensively restored and modified to a GTA look under the direction of its current owner. During the course of the work, the original 1300 cc engine was increased in performance. A precise specification of the engine structure and extensive photo documentation of the restoration work carried out are available. The result is a beautiful sportive classic with outstanding performance and many special features. This Alfa Romeo is perfect for daily use or any historic events. 1974 Alfa Romeo GT 1300 Junior “GTA Tribute” Thiesen Hamburg GmbH If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1970 Maserati Ghibli 4.9 SS Coupe

Often cited as one of the most beautiful sports cars ever built, Maserati Ghibli designer Giorgetto Giugiaro created the design at the onset of his tenure with Ghia. Not content to rest on his prodigious output while at Bertone where he’d already penned future masterpieces, by the time he arrived at Ghia, he was eagerly developing designs that would break away from the rounded forms of the early 50s and 60s. In 1966, one of his most prolific years, Giugiaro delivered four of the most critically acclaimed designs of the decade, the finest among them being the Maserati Ghibli. Named for the warm, high-speed exotic desert winds, the chiseled Ghibli debuted at the 1966 Turin Motor Show gaining immediate acclaim as the most refined and elegant of Giugiaro’s advanced linear and aggressive designs. The Ghibli featured a fresh and trend setting body design, brimming with some of the most advanced mechanical features available for any road car at that time. Maserati initially outfitted the Ghibli with their race-bred 306 hp dry-sump 4.7-liter quad-cam V8, topped by four Weber carburetors, coupled to a ZF five-speed manual transmission and limited slip differential. Capable drivers could reach 60 mph in less than seven seconds with handling being reported among the best of the period. Dramatically low and wide, the 4-wheel disc brake equipped Ghibli was further improved in 1969 with the upgraded 4.9 liter engine (as equipped on this car). Under the SS designation, power increased to 330hp, making it the fastest Maserati road car ever produced, capable of 170+ mph and improved 0-60 times. This beautiful Ghibli was originally delivered from the factory finished in Oro Metallizzato with beige leather interior and tan carpeting. Purchased new in Milan, Italy and imported to the US in 1971 by Mr. A Bio, New Jersey, the car remained under his ownership for a remarkable 38 years. In 2009, the car was sold to the second owner. As it had been essentially serviced and maintained to a high level by the original owner, the second owner performed sensitive cosmetic refurbishment including a high quality repaint in the original color, and reupholstery of the interior. A major service was performed on the engine and a new factory exhaust was installed. In 2014 the car was sold to the third owner, a prominent New York vintage car collector. The car has subsequently changed hands in recent years, allowing for availability through the current consigning owner. TODAY THIS MASERATI GHIBLI PRESENTS IN BEAUTIFUL CONDITION. The paint is bright and smoothly executed with excellent coverage, correct metal flake, and high gloss. The condition of the paint is not only smooth, the reflection quality and detail work have been performed to a high level. The doors, hood, and trunk shut with crisp and firm latching, exhibiting excellent fit and panel match consistent with original factory construction. The wheels are beautifully and correctly finished, shod with correctly sized Pirelli Cinturato tires. Chrome plating on bumpers and various other trim is very well done with excellent contours to the elegant and thin grille opening surround. Glass throughout is in excellent condition overall showing only light surface imperfections typical of original glazing, bearing the correct brand marks indicating the original factory glass. The interior has benefited from reupholstery in high quality leather consistent with the factory colors when ordered new. The seats retain good foam bolsters while the leather remains supple and smooth. The interior retains a satisfying combination of very nicely preserved original materials and properly selected leather for the seating. Of particular note is the excellent instrumentation with clear and consistent coloring, bright numeral indications, and crisp needles spanning the width of this impressive dashboard. Toggle switches and various knobs are also in excellent cosmetic condition. The steering wheel and center horn button are particularly nice and add a confident touchpoint to the power and performance lurking under the beautifully formed Ghia body design. In the rear of the car, the expansive glass stretches out over the spare tire compartment concealing the spare wheel and battery. The engine compartment displays a very nice collection of original components including the correct original metal-formed air cleaner complete with number tag, proper hoses and fasteners, and correct Maserati data plates with factory stampings, and what appear to be largely original finishes throughout the engine compartment. Though not detailed for show, the integrity of the finishes reveals the car has been serviced and maintained with preservation in mind, thoughtfully expressed by the long-term ownership and care delivered by the first owner. The rare 4.9 series engine was a landmark for Maserati, and has since become the most coveted of the Ghibli production run due to their powerful output and refinement. Offering considerably more displacement than even a Daytona, the 4.9 Ghiblis occupy a top tier position in both beauty and performance. The undercarriage of this car is clean and tidy with finishes that appear consistent to original construction. There is no visual evidence of structural damage to the chassis, rocker panels, or suspension mounting points. The undercarriage displays honest finishes reflective of general use and proper care. A correct factory type exhaust has been installed and braided stainless steel brake lines have been refitted. DRIVING THIS MASERATI, ONE IS IMMEDIATELY AWARE THAT THE GHIBLI WAS A PREMIER OFFERING IN THE BUDDING SUPERCAR SCENE. The car starts easily, releasing a finely tuned exhaust note as the engine settles into a gentle but eager quad cam idle. The 5-speed gearbox operates quite nicely as the clutch takes up and the throttle comes on strong throughout the power band. At speed, the Ghibli opens up and reveals its true touring nature, settling in as the speedometer needle heads for historic Joe Walsh territory. 4-wheel disc braking is very efficient given the weight of the car, bringing the Ghibli down from highway speeds smoothly and evenly. Even under leisurely driving, the gently wrapped windscreen, sweeping rear glass, and comfortable driving position offer surprisingly good visibility – yet another remarkable feature of the innovative Giugiaro design. Ghiblis are known for their spacious cabins, and telescopic steering columns (not found on Ferraris of this era), which greatly enhances larger driver comfort especially for longer touring events. The notice and take down procedure is described here: https://www.speedholics.com/copyright Often cited as one of the most beautiful sports cars ever built, Maserati Ghibli designer Giorgetto Giugiaro created the design at the onset of his tenure with Ghia. The car is accompanied by a tool roll, a spare set of keys, and a loose-page owner’s manual. With its refined 4.9 liter quad-cam V8, stunning looks, and coachbuilt Ghia and Giugiaro provenance, this Maserati Ghibli SS presents a wonderful opportunity for a collector or enthusiast to drive, refine, and enjoy one of the most important and celebrated sports cars of the Golden Era of Italian design.
