    General Overview When Honda first launched the NSX, it instantly established tbe newly established Acura brand as a leading builder of performance cars. Only four years had lapsed since the Acura name emerged as a premier division, but sports car perceptions were about to be forever changed. Honda began their quest in 1984, eager to produce a competitor to Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche by targeting the Ferrari 328 as the car to beat. Honda wanted to meet or exceed the performance of the Ferrari, while maintaining Honda reliability, at a reasonable price. The team developed the commanding naturally aspirated V6 VTEC engine - the world's first production car engine with titanium connecting rods, forged pistons, and ultra-high revving capabilities. With redline at a superior 8,000 rpm, the NSX was tested by Formula One legend Ayrton Senna, who would become a primary performance consultant, convincing the company to stiffen the NSX chassis further after testing the car at Honda's Suzuka GP circuit. In addition to Senna’s extensive contributions, legendary Japanese Formula One driver Satoru Nakajima and prominent American driver Bobby Rahal were both active participants in the car's unprecedented development as the world’s first all-aluminum production car. An early production sequence example, this car was delivered to the first owner, located in Fort Lauderdale, FL and later moved with the original owner to Greenville, SC where it amassed just 7400 miles before being sold to the second owner in 2011. Though miles were kept low, the second owner engaged Piedmont Honda to replace the timing belt in 2011 before selling it to the third and current owner in April 2012. The current and consigning owner titled and registered the car in August 2013. The California title declares the actual miles at that time of 9,826, which is consistent with the consecutively accumulated miles reflected in the Carfax report. After the current owner’s purchase, a set of California compliant Comptech headers were purchased from DC Sports. The car is also fitted with a DownForce air intake unit for increased air flow (original unit included with the car). This NSX has since passed emissions testing including a recent May 2024 emissions test (certificate included with sale). Services in preparation for sale include the installation of a new timing belt and water pump, new accessory belts, new valve cover gasket, a new set of Continental Extreme Contact tires, fluids checked and topped off and oil and filter change (May 2024). Over the past decade of current ownership this car has been stored indoors as part of a private performance car collection. The owner has preserved the car with originality in mind including the purchase of numerous spare consumable OEM Honda parts more commonly subject to wear on higher mileage cars which are included with the car. Condition Overview Today this NSX presents as an excellent and rare black on black factory example with preserved original finishes of very high quality. Low mileage NSXs have become increasingly challenging to find due to their amazing driving manners. They are literally hard to resist once behind the wheel. For a collector seeking a very nicely preserved and well-maintained NSX, this is a very enticing example. The exterior finish is smooth and glossy exhibiting excellent quality on all factory aluminum body panels including the front and rear flexible composite bumper caps. The black finish has been metered on all aluminum body panels using a digital paint meter which indicated single digit numbers on all metal panels consistent with factory applied paint. The doors, hood, and deck lid open and shut properly with excellent panel gaps and crisp closure. The unforgiving gloss black finish is particularly nice including the door jambs and underside of the hood and engine lid. The glass, trim, emblems, and various lenses throughout the car are like new while the factory glass retains the correct brand etching including the windshield which is free from major chips or cracks. Importantly, the factory VIN door threshold plate and engine bay bulkhead numbers match the VIN further supporting the originality of this factory black on black example. The stance and ride height are correctly positioned on a new set of Continental Extreme Contact Sport 205/50 ZR15 front and 225/50 ZR16 rear radial tires, installed in preparation for sale. The interior of the car is fresh and superbly maintained, showing no significant wear or fading on the carpets, seats, or door panels. The leather trimmed seats are in excellent condition showing only light scuff marks on the entry/exit side driver’s seat bolster, but otherwise displaying very nice factory finishes, proper stitching, and gently softened factory materials. The dash is free from significant marks or shrinkage with no cracks or fading and the steering wheel shows only minor signs of use to the matching black padded wheel. The carpet under both floor mats appears essentially new, and the mats themselves show minimal wear. Overall, the interior shows remarkably well, including the headliner, which appears nearly new. The inside doorsills are in excellent condition with no significant marks or scratches along the brightwork which also bears the correct matching VIN stamping. The rear trunk compartment is also in excellent condition as is the front storage compartment and correct factory spare tire. Under the hood the visual condition of the engine and engine compartment support the low miles with very nice finishes, correct factory details, hoses, air box, and factory labels. The factory stock engine operates as expected having recently benefited from a new timing belt and water pump, new accessory belts, and fluids in preparation for sale. The car starts easily and runs very well with fantastic acceleration, smooth 5-speed shifting, great brakes, comfortable operational features including premium stereo and cold AC, and of course - legendary F1 derived handling.     This particular example, Chassis WP0AB2968LS451994, is one such Carrera 4 Coupe that was purchased by its first owner from Don Rosen Imports in Conshohocken, PA. It was later purchased by its second and current owner in 1997 as a certified pre-owned vehicle from the same dealership where it was originally sold. The car sits on 16” Design 90 wheels and is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic paint, a $952 option, over a contrasting Slate Gray leather interior, which itself was a $2,182 option. Further options include a leather instrument housing, velour-like trunk carpet, heated sport seats, headlight washers, a rear wiper, painted trim rings, and a rear foglight. With over $7,800 in options, the total MSRP of this Porsche came out to $77,369 in 1990, or the equivalent of $188,048 in 2025 dollars. Over its thirty-plus years of ownership, this German classic was meticulously maintained to the highest degree, with service receipts and booklet stamps dating back to new. While this Porsche was serviced by several shops throughout its lifetime, the ones who saw it most frequently were Don Rosen Imports in Conshohocken, PA, Westtown Imported Cars in West Chester, PA, Porsche of The Main Line in Newtown Square, PA, and Performance Automotive Inc. in Malvern, PA. The only modifications on this car are the R-134 AC conversion that was completed in 2010, the original H1 headlights and fog lights being replaced with Euro-spec H4 lights in 2019 (original units included), and the original head unit being replaced with a modern Alpine unit in 2022. At the time, it was in the care of a Renault specialist who had overseen a major restoration in 2013. We fell in love, purchased it, and drove it back to our shop in Zonhoven, Belgium. Once it landed in the U.S., the Renault was sold to a buyer in New Jersey on May 15, 2020. In 2022, the next owner—Arman of Long Island—contacted us for history. We told him when the day came to sell, give us a call. That day arrived, and this GT Turbo masterpiece is back in the Cave after extensive in-house work and ready for its next caretaker. We originally imported this vehicle from an enthusiast in the Morbihan region of France in May of 2023, and were excited for a chance to own it again. The French owner provided us with a well-documented history file, service book, owner’s manuals, French Type R sales brochure, history report (similar to CarFax), and a clean technical inspection. The records and information provided by the owner show a full engine rebuild and clutch installed approximately 7,000 miles ago. Engine machine and build work was completed by a professional shop named Pac Sarl in Cons La Grandville, France with receipt provided. A full respray was performed in France along with a complete mechanical review. This car arrived in the States in superb mechanical and cosmetic condition in 2023. The only maintenance we performed at that time was due to a small coolant leak in the radiator. We installed a new battery, Mishimoto Performance Radiator with Mishimoto Dual Electric Cooling Fans and aluminum shroud. Upon receiving the vehicle in August of 2025, Car Cave completed another mechanical review. The motor and transmission mounts were replaced due to age, clutch system flushed, and steering wheel mounting hardware torque checked. The engine runs superbly well and a short throw shift kit make this Type R a joy to drive.     This 1966 Ford Cortina GT Mk1 has been transformed into a faithful Lotus Cortina–style replica, capturing the spirit of one of Ford’s most legendary cars of the 1960s. Car Cave purchased this Cortina on May 5, 2025, just north of Lisbon in Madalena and Beselga, Portugal. The previous owner had stripped and rebuilt the car with full intentions of competing in vintage racing, but health issues prevented him from racing. His work included a complete exterior respray and a full overhaul of the engine, transmission, clutch, and supporting systems. After a quick inspection in Lisbon, Chris and Emre from Car Cave put the Cortina straight to the test on the Spring 2026 GOAT Tour, a grueling 2,000-kilometer rally through Portugal and southern Spain. From mountain passes to ferry crossings, the Cortina proved its capabilities, keeping pace with Porsches and even a Lancia Delta Integrale Evo. Tour highlights included Portimão, the Magic Cactus beach bar, Alte, Barranco do Velho, Faro, Aznalcóllar, Seville, Cádiz, Grazalema, and Marbella. Despite being fresh off a rebuild, the Cortina completed the entire event with only a few expected field adjustments. Power comes from a freshly rebuilt 1600 Ford Crossflow Kent engine fitted with a high-flow oil pump, water pump, and lightened flywheel. Weber carb, a stainless long-tube manifold, and custom exhaust give it the proper sporting voice, while cooling is managed by a high-output radiator with electric fan. Electrical demands are handled by an uprated Escort MK3 alternator. Power is delivered through a new hydraulic clutch to a Ford Type 9 five-speed gearbox with a short-shift kit, which provides modern usability with period charm. Electrical demands are handled by an uprated Escort MK3 alternator. Power is delivered through a new hydraulic clutch to a Ford Type 9 five-speed gearbox with a short-shift kit, which provides modern usability with period charm. The suspension has been fully renewed with new arms, silent blocks, ball joints, rear leaf springs, and fresh shocks on all four corners. Braking has been modernized with servo assistance, larger ventilated front discs paired with Ford Sierra Cosworth 2WD calipers, and rebuilt uprated rear brakes. Once in the United States, Car Cave completed additional mechanical work including installation of a new fuel tank, sending unit, fuel lines, lock ring, hardware, a differential fluid change, and rewiring of the rally lights. Inside, the Cortina has been prepared for both road and rally use. Features include new sports seats with racing seat belts, a hydraulic drift handbrake, rally-style steering wheel, updated instrumentation, power kill switches, upgraded pedals, a passenger footrest, and a relocated battery mounted in the boot for weight balance and safety. Styled in the unmistakable Lotus Cortina livery, this Cortina left the factory as a 1.5L GT Mk1. Today it sits on Lotus Cortina–style 5.5J x 13-inch steel wheels with chrome hubcaps and Nankang 185/70 R13 racing tires. A set of auxiliary rally lamps are mounted up front, ready for blasting through the backroads and mountain passes of rural Spain and Portugal. This 1966 Ford Cortina GT Mk1 combines the iconic Lotus Cortina look with extensive upgrades and proven event history. Purchased just one day before the Spring 2026 GOAT Tour, it immediately set off and successfully completed the demanding event without major issues.     We purchased this Ford Escort some time ago and have been working on a full reconditioning and engine build. All pictures included are of the Escort before we began extensive reconditioning, but as our work on the Escort is close to finished, we wanted to start sharing a little early. This Ford Escort is stored in our Aiken, SC climate controlled showroom and comes with South Carolina title. The inventory shown is 100% owned, maintained, and driven by us here at Car Cave USA. Code-named "Brenda", the second generation Escort was jointly developed between UK Ford and Germany Ford. The MK2 model featured multiple body styles and engine combinations that lasted from 1974 until 1980. This 1977 Ford Escort MK2 RS2000 has approximately 18200 miles, and lives up to the look of the rally inspired build. The Escort was originally delivered to Greece in 1977 as a factory built 2-door saloon. Several upgrades have been made to improve the appearance and performance. The upgraded 2.0L Pinto TL20H Inline-4 engine features a custom twin carb intake manifold with twin Dellorto 44mm Dhla side draft carburetors, aftermarket headers, and stainless exhaust. The factory 4-speed transmission has been replaced with a 5-speed Ford Type 9 pushing power to the rear wheels through a T21 English Type rear end. Suspension has been modified with Koni shocks, larger sway bar, polyurethane bushings, strut tower brace, and rear lowering block. The exterior and engine bay show a nice condition repaint with appearance modifications including Compomotive ML alloy wheels, fender flares, rear spoiler, tinted windows, and an appropriately lowered stance. Inside we find racing seats, SaBelt steering wheel, and a Kenwood KDC-W241 head unit with aftermarket speakers. An assortment of gauges in two locations with the speedometer, tachometer, fuel, and temp found in the instrument cluster. Gauges for temp, oil pressure, and voltage can be found in front of the passenger. The Escort has everything necessary for fun.... the legendary Pinto 205, 3 pedals, and 2 rear wheels.
