- 1982 Maserati Merak SS
Arguably the most civilised, not to mention usable, of the 70s crop of Italian supercars, Maserati’s stunning mid-engined Merak combined a powerful V6 engine with the practicality of occasional rear seats and a decent-sized boot. Sharing its basic architecture and floorpan with the V8-powered Bora, the Merak was similarly penned by the talented Giorgetto Giugiaro’s Ital Design studio in Turin, but instead of the Bora’s rear clamshell, there was a flat decklid and novel flying buttress arrangement. In a break with tradition, the new Merak was named after a star in the Plough constellation and saw the greatest influence of the Modenese firm’s new relationship with Citroën yet, particularly the 90-degree V6 engine, a unit Maserati originally engineered for the SM. As used in the Merak, the Tipo C114 V6 was bored out from 2,670cc to 2,965cc greatly improving both torque and flexibility. With twin overhead camshafts per bank and fed by triple Weber 42 DCNF carburettors, the alloy V6’s 190 horses were delivered to the rear wheels through the SM’s 5-speed transaxle, while the brakes (discs all round) also used an adaptation of Citroën’s patented hydraulic power-operated system. The interior was typical of Italian exotics from the era, with low-slung seats and plenty of luxury features, while the compact V6 engine allowed a surprising amount of rear passenger space - even the usual Italian offset driving position was largely overcome thanks to a fully adjustable steering wheel and decent seat travel. Competition from Ferrari's new Dino V8 prompted the introduction of a more powerful and lightweight version - the Merak SS (Tipo AM122/A) with 220bhp engine and revised interior - for 1975, ZF transmission being adopted shortly after. The SS was distinguished by a black grille between the pop-up headlights, a Maserati-designed upper fascia with round instruments and a four-spoke steering wheel replaced the previous SM-derived interior. Later cars (and RHD examples) were bestowed with the full driver-oriented dashboard and three-spoke padded steering wheel from the Bora. 1982 Maserati Merak SS Iconic Auctioneers Ltd If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1964 Lamborghini 350 GT
Lamborghini’s first production car, the 350 GT, was the brainchild of two of Italy’s most illustrious automotive luminaries. With an engine designed by Giotto Bizzarrini, fresh from Ferrari, and a chassis engineered by Gian Paolo Dallara, the 350 GT needed only Touring’s Superleggera bodywork to be worthy of Ferruccio Lamborghini’s vision. When the production-spec 350 GT debuted at the Geneva International Motor Show in March 1964, it was to great acclaim. In all, it is thought that around 120 examples of the 350 GT were built before the model was succeeded by the 400 GT 2+2 in 1966. This 350 GT was among the special early examples fitted with aluminum bodywork. It is said to be the 12th Lamborghini ever built and first two-seater 350 GT. Sold new to Garage Foitek in Zurich on 15 January 1965, chassis 0114 was finished in Blue Tigullio over a Senape leather interior. In 1974 it was exported to the United States, where it would stay with its next owner for two years. Richard Rechter of Bloomington, Indiana, then acquired the 350 GT, and he would remain its custodian for 43 years, after which the car entered the collection of Jean Guikas. The car received a cosmetic and mechanical overhaul from 2017 to 2019, with invoices on file from Automotive FantomWorks in Norfolk, Virginia totalling nearly $90,000. For driver comfort, the seats were rebuilt, re-covered, and moved rearward by two-and-a-quarter inches. The engine was removed and resealed, and the cylinder heads rebuilt with new guides, seats, timing chains, and valves, with work also carried out on the carburetors and suspension. Acquired by the consignor from the Guikas collection in 2021, the 350 GT has been refurbished to the highest possible standard by the current owner, a longtime Lamborghini collector with Italian roots, whose family has restored various significant Lamborghinis over the years, and which claims to own one of the first Espadas produced, said to have been delivered to them by Ferrucio Lamborghini himself in 1968. In 2022, the consignor shipped the car to Italy to be fully stripped and repainted in its factory-correct color of Blue Tigullio by the same expert craftsmen who do work for Lamborghini Polo Storico, the automaker’s inhouse classic center. Other cosmetic components and details were also refurbished to factory specifications, including the chrome and trunk carpeting. In 2023, marque experts performed further mechanical work to bring the engine up to pristine condition and excellent working order. Service invoices totaling around €73,000 are available for review. Given its rare aluminum bodywork, known history, and superb condition resulting from the obsessive care of its meticulous owners past and present, this stunning 350 GT is undoubtedly among the finest in the world, ready to be fully enjoyed and continually cherished. 1964 Lamborghini 350 GT RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 2000-lamborghini-diablo-vt
After 17 years in production, Lamborghini’s iconic Countach finally made way for the Diablo, a car that moved the marque decisively into a new era. Unveiled at Monaco in January 1990, it was faster, more advanced and more expensive than any Lamborghini that had come before it, yet retained the dramatic presence for which the company had become famous. Styled by Marcello Gandini, whose previous work included the Miura and Countach, the Diablo combined the visual theatre expected of Sant’Agata with genuine progress in engineering, refinement and usability. The model introduced a new level of sophistication to the Lamborghini formula. Carbon fibre composite panels, developments in suspension design and the adoption of fuel injection for the 48-valve V12 all marked a significant step forward. The platform was conceived with future developments in mind, including four-wheel drive, and Lamborghini’s 5.7-litre V12 delivered performance that comfortably moved beyond the Countach. Over the course of its life the Diablo evolved steadily, but it was the arrival of Audi ownership in 1998 that brought the most comprehensive revision. The result was the Diablo 6.0 VT, with fixed headlamps, reworked styling, numerous under-skin improvements and the enlarged 6.0-litre V12, creating what many regard as the definitive version of the model. Finished in Nero Pegaso over a classically dramatic Diablo interior in Nero Pegaso leather with Grigio inserts, the example offered here was first registered in Switzerland and supplied by Lamborghini Porrentruy. Its early life appears to have been one of regular use and proper maintenance, supported by service history from the supplying dealer and other specialists. Recorded servicing includes Lamborghini Porrentruy at 2,824km in September 2000, 12,803km in May 2001 and 36,733km in September 2002, together with work by P3 Automobiles of Cannes in August 2001 and Garage Remsa of Sion in 2007 at 45,100km. It is clearly a car that was used as intended in period, covering mileage across its early years rather than being placed immediately into static storage. The Diablo was brought to the UK in 2012 and has remained here since. It was serviced by Rardley Motors at 46,077km in October 2012 and appears to have seen only minimal use thereafter. Since arriving in the UK it has had just three keepers, before changing hands again in 2022 when it was the subject of extensive servicing by SB Racing at 46,088km. Today the car is accompanied by its owner’s handbook, service book and a history file detailing recent expenditure. Works in 2022 included a full service, replacement of the notorious sticky switches, four new Pirelli P Zero Asimmetrico tyres and further associated sundry items, all helping bring the car to the presentation and standard seen today. This is an appealing example of the ultimate Diablo, a car with clear early use, sensible later stewardship and supporting history from new. Rarely does a model better encapsulate the spirit of the late-1990s and early-2000s supercar era, and this 6.0 VT offers an opportunity to acquire one of Lamborghini’s most significant modern classics in a form that is both highly usable and eminently collectible. 2000 Lamborghini Diablo VT Iconic Auctioneers Ltd If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. We are thrilled to showcase this remarkable 1961 Mercedes 190SL RHD, elegantly finished in DB050 White with a striking Red Leather interior. This vehicle holds a unique history, having been previously owned by Olympic Studios in London, renowned in the 1960s as one of the premier recording studios. It hosted legendary artists such as Jimi Hendrix, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, Ella Fitzgerald, and Queen, among many others. It is said that the keys to this car were entrusted to the esteemed Dame Shirley Bassey during her visit to London while recording her iconic album "I Am What I Am." More recently, Hemmels discovered the car in the United States, where it was last owned by Tim Hauser of Manhattan Transfer. The vehicle was then transported back to the UK, where Hemmels meticulously restored it to their exacting "Neugeboren" standards, effectively rendering it 'like new.' Since the restoration's completion, the car has only been driven a modest 196 miles and is now ready for its next owner. Upon finishing the restoration, Hemmels had the honor of presenting the completed 190SL to Dame Shirley Bassey at a prestigious dinner in Monaco, as captured in the accompanying photographs. Additionally, it is important to highlight that the RHD 190SL is a rare find, with only about 1,000 units ever produced in this configuration, further enhancing its appeal. 1961 Mercedes-Benz 190 Convertible SL Hemmels Vault If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. On August 10th, 1987, something truly special happened. A proud Swiss gentleman made his way to the Mercedes-Benz dealership with a smile from ear to ear. Today was the day his dream would come true: the delivery of his brand-new Mercedes-Benz 300 SL (R107). True to Swiss sensibility, he opted for the most refined and reliable specification – the legendary straight-six engine, now fitted with the updated KE-Jetronic injection system introduced in 1985. It offered smoother performance, increased power, and unmatched dependability – a choice that remains visionary to this day. Finished in elegant Nautical Blue Metallic over a full beige leather interior, this SL is the epitome of timeless style. A truly tasteful combination that perfectly complements her classic lines. The first owner enjoyed the car immensely – yet sparingly. Just 25,000 km were driven in the first two years. Since 1989, an additional 6,000 km were added, yet the car has never lacked care or attention. Always properly maintained and fully documented. Still wearing its 100% original paint and delivered with its matching hardtop – also in untouched, pristine condition – this SL has truly stood the test of time. In 2010, the car was registered in Germany, where its exceptional condition earned it a place in the prestigious Mercedes-Benz Young Classics program in Stuttgart. Now proudly available at Cool Classic Club. Are you looking for a classic with solid investment potential? Or perhaps simply a timeless icon to enjoy carefree miles behind the wheel? Maybe, like us, you fell in love at first sight. It’s 1985. Ferrari unveils the successor to the beloved 308 – and does so with flair. The 328 is a carefully considered evolution: a car that strikes the perfect balance between classic lines and modern reliability. More power, increased displacement, a sharper chassis, and that same irresistible presence. The 328 is the final model in Ferrari’s transverse V8 generation to feature a five-speed manual gearbox – before the switch to fuel injection, paddle shifters, and electronic driver aids. Pure, unfiltered, and authentic. The 328 GTS was born in an era when the driver was still in full control. Every gear shift was a conscious decision. No filters, no electronics between you and the machine. Just you, a gated shifter, and the glorious roar of the 3.2-litre V8 behind you. Our 328? It’s one of a kind. Delivered new in the Netherlands by Kroymans Ferrari in Hilversum – the original dealer sticker still graces the rear bumper. Finished in iconic Rosso Corsa with a Tan leather interior – a combination to make any enthusiast’s heart race. Mileage? Just 111,800 km. Matching numbers and, of course, a manual gearbox. Driving it is an experience in itself: the click-clack of the metal shift gate, the eagerness of the V8 at higher revs, the way the steering tells you what the front wheels are thinking – this isn’t just driving, it’s how driving was meant to be. In a world full of turbos, screens, and driver assists – this is your escape. Your return to a time when a Ferrari felt like a living, breathing thing. Looking for an investment? An icon? Or simply the most beautiful 1980s Ferrari with Dutch heritage? This is your chance. - 1967-jaguar-xkss-replica-by-lynx
History of the Jaguar XKSS Among the most beautiful automobiles ever conceived and crafted, the Jaguar XKSS continues to reign as one of the most desirable sports cars of the modern performance era. The XKSS arrived in 1957 as Jaguar converted twenty-five remaining racing D-Types (then under construction) into road-going configuration. This conversion, a requirement to compete in the North American SCCA racing series, proved fortuitous for motoring enthusiasts. By adding a full-width glass windscreen, bumpers, passenger door, and a host of other detailed finishing elements, these twenty-five cars would serve as ambassadors to Jaguar’s largest and growing export market – North America. Yet the excitement for these new cars would end abruptly with a grave turn of events; a devastating fire at the Jaguar factory resulting in the loss of the entire production line, while eviscerating nine of these exceptional and unique factory cars. Only sixteen of the original cars survived. Over the years, particularly as values for the remaining sixteen cars have escalated into the millions, much lore has transpired regarding the nine vanquished cars, adding further to the mystique of these beautiful Jaguars. History of the Lynx Engineering XKSS In 1968 a group of dedicated Sussex based motorsports enthusiasts established Lynx Engineering, an establishment specializing in British race cars. By 1972 Lynx team members became intrigued by the concept of reviving vintage Jaguars. They would become one of the first companies to construct accurate recreations of the Jaguar D-Type, C-Type, and E-Type Lightweight, and as presented in this example; the iconic XKSS. With many of the craftsmen from the original period still alive and eager to apply their artistry to such projects, Lynx was able to employ original craftspeople, factory methods, and construction techniques identical to the original designs, with results that accurately mirrored original examples including cleverly engineered improvements to the original design. Artisans worked to not only achieve the beauty and excellence in the recreations, but also worked concurrently on restoration projects, applying their experience and accuracy to each of their Lynx offerings yielding exceptional cars that honor these legends of beauty and performance. History of this Lynx XKSS This particular Lynx XKSS is the last of 18 XKSS models produced by Lynx Engineering. Specially built for the owner of Lynx Engineering, Frank Berger, the car was presented for his personal use, handcrafted to the finest specifications by the capable Lynx staff. As the singular and penultimate example of this final series XKSS, this final iteration benefits from all the improvements achieved during the production of these fine cars. This handmade Lynx XKSS was assembled using authentic Jaguar components, drivetrain, and titled using the original number from a Jaguar chassis. The handcrafted 16 swg aluminum monocoque tub, and riveted bodywork were carefully measured, and assembled to form the basis for this final XKSS. In addition to the chassis component construction, the front frame was upgraded with Reynolds tubing to improve structural rigidity. Once the center body section was completed, alloy front and rear sections were formed and fitted with correctly replicated XKSS details including a laminated safety glass wraparound windscreen with a polished 16 swg aluminum perimeter frame, covered headlights, original specification luggage rack, and correct side exhaust. The XK series 3.8L in-line six-cylinder engine was built with 8.75:1 compression, semi-competition camshaft, lightened and balanced crankshaft, and outfitted with triple dual-throat Weber carburetors fitted to a gas flowed Lynx Weber intake manifold. The robust engine was paired to a Jaguar full synchro four-speed gearbox and independent rear suspension with inboard rear disc brakes. The front suspension was paired with multi-piston disc brakes, and all four corners were outfitted with 16-inch Dunlop peg-drive alloy wheels. Though every effort was made to create the most accurate replica of the original XKSS, Lynx Engineering updated this car with important features to improve the driving experience, including, extended footwells for longer leg comfort, improved braking, modern engine cooling via a high efficiency radiator, and a more robust 285hp engine. Under current ownership this car has been thoughtfully maintained and updated with improvements that greatly enhance the driving experience. In 2024, Vintage Auto Services, Oakland, CA removed the engine from the car to replace the heat insulation. New high performance bonded fiberglass heat insulation sheet was installed on the footwell areas and cowl, and the exhaust headers were wrapped with heat insulating fiberglass. In 2025, the clutch hydraulics were serviced including a new clutch master and slave cylinder, new 36mm carburetor chokes installed, all three carbs tuned and tested, and new oil cooler hose installed using 12AN fittings. Also in 2025, the car returned to the shop for a new set of camshafts with cam settings paired to the Weber carburetors including 145 main jets, 65 FB idle jets, and carburetor idle mixture adjustment. In August 2025 a new speedometer cable was installed and an oil and filter change performed using synthetic oil. Current Condition Exemplary in every aspect, this Lynx XKSS is beautifully finished with smooth and glossy British Racing Green paint beautifully applied to the hand formed alloy body panels. The legendary form and superb craftsmanship are impressive not only for their original appearance but for the high level of construction and exacting standards achieved in this, the last Lynx XKSS built. The bright work and polished accessories are beautifully presented and the ‘ready to pounce’ stance is perfectly perched on the alloy D-Type Dunlop wheels and correctly specified Vredestain Sprint Classic tires. The impressive, shrouded alloy side exhaust is positioned against the curvaceous alloy body, delivering a memorable juxtaposition of power and grace. Period correct details include leather bonnet latches, lever arm locks, hood script lettering, Monza fuel filler, and aircraft inspired riveted body panels. The interior is accurately rendered with attention to detail consistent with the original XKSS, but allowing for safety, greater legroom, and yet still retaining all the charm of the incomparable original. As inspired on the exterior, the use of aircraft construction methods in the raw aluminum monocoque are revealed throughout the riveted floor and welded lap fold construction of the interior. The black leather seats have been formed to allow more driver and passenger space, along with a larger foot box area and slightly reduced diameter wood and aluminum steering wheel. Black dial Smith instruments are accurately arrayed with the controls, switches, and key features easily at hand. Other features include a polished aluminum 4-speed manual switchgear, chrome plated hand brake and lightweight construction doors. Accessing the rear spare tire compartment, the hand formed tailgate drops to position revealing a full-sized spare wheel captured by a proper leather strap fixed into position beneath the accessory rack. Virtually every aspect of the construction is honest, authentic, and reflective of the original intent and design Jaguar envisioned for these rare road cars. Under the hood resides a well-equipped 3.8 Liter Jaguar E-Type engine, enhanced by a beautifully polished twin cam head and triple Weber carburetors featuring a specially constructed Lynx Engineering polished intake manifold, Weber carburetors, and screened polished air horns. The engine compartment is fitted with a polished aluminum water tank, fiberglass wrapped tubular exhaust headers, handmade riveted bulkhead construction, and other delightful mechanical details, completing the look of this very capable XKSS. The underside of the car also features beautifully finished components, superlative construction, and mechanical integrity consistent with just 1,215 miles indicated on the odometer. With the engine cranked and fuel primed, the mighty twin-cam kicks off with a bark and settles into a smooth idle. Driving position is well laid out, low to the ground, yet the driving position commands views of all corners of the undulating fenders. And while some time is required to familiarize oneself with the operational features, within a short period, the driver becomes unified with the car. Shifting is easy through the Jaguar 4-speed synchromesh transmission with power coming on progressively from the 285hp engine benefiting from the recently installed fresh cams which come on strong at higher revs. Cornering is delightful at every turn from lush mountain roads to sweeping higher speed roadways where the independent suspension and fantastic brakes can truly show their capability. Overall, the ride engineering is impressive, engaging, and unforgettable. This Lynx Engineering XKSS delivers undeniable pride of ownership and superlative driving enjoyment at a fraction of the cost of the impossibly rare and coveted museum bound originals. Constructed by a cadre of world renown fabricators to exacting standards, this, the final Lynx XKSS built, honors the lineage of these multi-million-dollar cars heralding their innovative engineering and honoring their well-earned legacy as one of the greatest sports cars ever built 1967 Jaguar XKSS replica by Lynx Fantasy Junction If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. Constructed by a cadre of world renown fabricators to exacting standards, this, the final Lynx XKSS built, honors the lineage of these multi-million-dollar cars heralding their innovative engineering and honoring their well-earned legacy as one of the greatest sports cars ever built Other Cars from Fantasy Junction 1988-Alfa-Romeo-Graduate-01.jpg 1988-Alfa-Romeo-Graduate-02.jpg 1988-Alfa-Romeo-Graduate-20.jpg 1988-Alfa-Romeo-Graduate-01.jpg 1/20 1988 Alfa Romeo Graduate Fantasy Junction United States 1985-Ferrari-308-GTSi-01.jpg 1985-Ferrari-308-GTSi-02.jpg 1985-Ferrari-308-GTSi-20.jpg 1985-Ferrari-308-GTSi-01.jpg 1/20 1985 Ferrari 308 GTSi Fantasy Junction United States 1964-Ferrari-275-330-GTC-Prototipo-01.jpg 1964-Ferrari-275-330-GTC-Prototipo-02.jpg 1964-Ferrari-275-330-GTC-Prototipo-20.jpg 1964-Ferrari-275-330-GTC-Prototipo-01.jpg 1/20 1964 Ferrari 275/330 GTC Prototipo Fantasy Junction United States Last Featured Cars 1992-Subaru-SVX-01.webp 1992-Subaru-SVX-02.webp 1992-Subaru-SVX-10.webp 1992-Subaru-SVX-01.webp 1/10 1992 Subaru SVX DLS Automobile Germany 1990-Porsche-911-964-Carrera-RS-IROC-Evocation-01.webp 1990-Porsche-911-964-Carrera-RS-IROC-Evocation-02.webp 1990-Porsche-911-964-Carrera-RS-IROC-Evocation-15.webp 1990-Porsche-911-964-Carrera-RS-IROC-Evocation-01.webp 1/15 1990 Porsche 911 964 Carrera RS IROC Evocation Classic Connection United Kingdom 1964-Alfa-Rome-TZ-01.jpg 1964-Alfa-Rome-TZ-02.jpg 1964-Alfa-Rome-TZ-20.jpg 1964-Alfa-Rome-TZ-01.jpg 1/20 1964 Alfa Romeo TZ Oldtimer Galerie International GmbH Switzerland

At the heart of this success stood the Lancia Delta, one of the most successful rally cars of all time. Between 1987 and 1992, the Delta won the World Rally Championship for manufacturers six consecutive times — a record that still stands. In 1991, Lancia introduced the Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione I, a street-legal version of the rally car, developed for homologation purposes and engineered with competition in mind. The Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione I was developed to meet Group A homologation standards and marked the peak of Lancia’s WRC dominance. This model featured a turbocharged 2.0L 16-valve engine producing approx. 210 hp, permanent four-wheel drive, and advanced suspension geometry for razor-sharp handling. Known as the “Evo I” this version featured significant upgrades over its predecessors. It retained the 2.0-litre 16-valve turbocharged engine, producing around 210 horsepower and 298 Nm of torque. Power was sent to all four wheels via a sophisticated permanent four-wheel-drive system with a central viscous coupling and a Torsen rear differential — providing excellent traction on any surface. The Evo I could accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just under six seconds, making it one of the fastest hot hatches of its time. The chassis and bodywork were also extensively revised. The track was widened front and rear, the suspension geometry was improved, and the body featured flared wheel arches to accommodate wider tires. The result was not just better handling, but also a more aggressive, purposeful look. A large roof spoiler and functional air intakes emphasized the car’s motorsport pedigree. Today, the Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione I is a sought-after collector’s car. Its combination of motorsport heritage, raw performance, and distinctive styling makes it a true icon. 1991 Lancia Delta HF Integrale EVO I Very Superior Old Cars If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer.
