  • 1971 Ford Escort Mk1 Mexico

It seems likely that Ford already had plans to introduce a high-performance Escort to fit in the range between the 1300GT and the Twin Cam / RS1600, but their victory in the 1970 World Cup Rally, which finished in Mexico, provided an ideal platform to launch such a model. The engineers at the newly formed AVO (Advanced Vehicles Operations) quickly developed the 'Mexico', marrying the Type 49 body-shell as used in the Twin Cam and RS1600 with the 1600cc Kent 'crossflow' engine and 2000E gearbox. So, effectively, the Mexico was basically a re-engined Twin Cam / RS1600. The Mexico was AVO's most successful and numerous of the 'Rally Sport Escorts,' and it had a number of advantages on the road, in that it offered decent performance, was easy to maintain, relatively easy to insure and above all it was great to drive, something which is still true today. Offered here is a genuine AVO Ford Escort Mexico built at Aveley in May 1971 confirmed by its V5 which clearly states Ford Mexico. Its rally pedigree is endorsed by an earlier MSA rally competition logbook (needs renewing) and the roll bar carries some early scrutineering stickers. It has a gas-flowed head and only recently has been treated to a couple of brand new 45 DCOE Webers. The crossflow engine is dry-sumped with the oil tank in the boot and it has a close-cut 'Rocket' gearbox and a limited-slip differential. Feeding the new Webers is a Rally Weld alloy competition fuel tank with a spare wheel recess. Classically finished in Diamond White with black graphics, the Mexico has recently benefited from substantial expenditure with a view to renewed competition use and a new MSA Logbook. Both front and rear brakes have been replaced and a new pedal box fitted. Two new Cobra seats have been fitted with new TRS Turn One harnesses and an extinguisher, making sure that all the safety equipment is right up to date. It's just been granted a fresh MOT so is ready for the papers to be renewed by the next owner. With the recent RAC Rally capturing the publics imagination again this Mexico, which wrote the book on national grass roots rallying, would be the perfect car to enjoy the resurgence in the sport at a very realistic budget. This is a great opportunity to own an iconic seventies 'Performance Ford', with all the history and magic that the name 'Mexico' implies. 1971 Ford Escort Mk1 Mexico Iconic Auctioneers Ltd If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1985 Audi Sport quattro S1 E2

APEX PREDATOR Group B is often hailed as the golden era of rallying, producing some of the most powerful rally cars to ever take to a special stage and fostering a previously unheard-of level of development and innovation. No car or manufacturer exemplified that better than Audi and its game-changing quattro. The Ingolstadt outfit is credited with bringing four-wheel drive to the rally stage, and its revolutionary design delivered no fewer than three Drivers’ and Manufacturers’ World Championships by 1984. But while it held the advantage over rear-drive competition, the car was also overweight and nose heavy. In an effort to stay ahead of its rivals—development of Lancia’s S4 having begun in 1983—Audi introduced the Sport quattro in 1984. Despite its prodigious power output, the shorter-wheelbase car was difficult to handle and drivers struggled. Eventual 1984 World Champion Stig Blomqvist even avoided using the new car until he had one hand on the trophy. The situation led to the development of what is widely accepted to be one of the most fearsomely powerful and ferociously quick rally cars of the golden era: the Audi quattro S1 E2. The new car made use of the same fIve-cylinder 2,110-cc alloy block with a 20-valve aluminium head mated to a single vast KKK turbocharger and was capable of producing a colossal 550 horsepower—among the highest of any Group B rally car. Coupled with lightweight carbon-Kevlar composite bodywork and four-wheel drive, the quattro S1 E2 could hit 160 km/h in a blistering 8.9 seconds. In the words of Walter Röhrl: “the engine was always blowing off pressure and banging explosions into the countryside. No car was like that”. Power aside, the E2’s greatest achievement was much improved weight distribution and a slimming regimen that saw it tip the scales at around 1,100 kilograms. Engineers moved many of the heavier components—including the radiator, fans, and even the alternator—to the rear of the car, while the wild bodywork and vast front and rear wings that became the car’s trademark were shaped by wind tunnel testing and greatly improved total downforce. In total, just 20 examples of this legendary rally weapon would leave Audi’s Ingolstadt works. ON THE LOOSE Chassis 018 was the 18th of 20 Audi Sport quattro S1 E2s built and is recorded on an Audi Sport document (on file) as being registered “IN-NR-43” in Ingolstadt on 12 February 1986 with a note that it was built specifically for the Greek (Acropolis) rally.. As documented in Reinhard Klein’s definitive Group B – The Owner’s Edition, IN-NR-43 was entered in the 1986 Rallye de Portugal, driven by two-time WRC (World Rally Championship) champion Walter Röhrl. Excitement for the event was tempered by concern at the Sintra stage—previously a night-time section—being run in daylight, with huge crowds expected to line the course, and a usually reserved Markku Alén even appealed for people to steer clear of the danger. A more pragmatic Röhrl had been quizzed on the involvement of spectators a year earlier and had said: “They are only bushes to us—only trees; if we think these are people, we cannot drive”. Röhrl found his pace from the off, leading the first stage on equal footing with Alén and his Lancia Delta S4 despite a chilling near miss in which a spectator ran across the road in front of the charging quattro. The second stage resulted in Röhrl losing ground to the Lancia S4s and Peugeot T-16s, and by the end of the much longer third stage he had consolidated his position running 5th overall behind the three Works Lancias and the Peugeot of Juha Kankkunen. The rally was cut short by Joaquim Santos’ tragic accident. In the immediate aftermath all Works teams withdrew from the event as a mark of respect for those lost. Audi withdrew from the entire Championship, with this outing for chassis 018 marking the manufacturer’s final competitive entry in Group B. It was subsequently sold to Sweden. A PHOENIX RISING The Group B era of rallying encouraged the development of some of the most exciting machines in motorsport and provided a spectacle that was never to be equalled—but this thrilling period of competition was all too brief. In many ways the series flew too close to the sun, the unchecked arms race of peak performance and spectator involvement proving a deadly combination. Some Group B machines, such as Audi’s all-conquering Sport quattro S1 E2, found themselves without a home when the formula was outlawed in 1986, while others, including the E2’s would-be successor, the quattro RS 002, would be abandoned during development and never turn a wheel in anger. With the advent of Group A as the WRC’s primary category, the only other plausible places for these beasts to compete were hill climbs or the European Rallycross Championship, and scores of former Group B rally weapons—including chassis 018—were deployed into the fiercely competitive and crowd-pleasing formula. Fascinatingly, the rally exiles would be developed beyond even the extremes of Group B, such was the sprint-based formula in deference to the endurance format of rallying. Like many of its contemporaries, chassis 018 was refined and modified for Rallycross competition, where it was briefly campaigned by Anders Carlsson. Freed from the shackles of prior homologation, numerous cosmetic and mechanical modifications were made to tailor the car to the short and frenetic circuits that made up the championship. Chasiss 018 then took part in the 1989 and 1990 Race Of Champions, before being acquired by the Race Of Champions co-founder in 1991. Conceived to showcase the very best rally talent and later expanded to include leading lights from all disciplines of motorsport, the event’s high-octane demonstrations have for more than 30 years delivered a spectacle that appeals to every true motorsport fan by pitting some of the world's best drivers from a variety of disciplines and nationalities against one another. This very Audi Sport quattro S1 E2 became an integral part of that vision, playing a headline role at the 1989 Race Of Champions, held at the Nürburgring, and the 1990 Race Of Champions event in Barcelona. During those two events chassis 018 was driven by Björn Waldegård, Walter Röhrl, Ari Vatanen, Hannu Mikkola, Stig Blomqvist, Timo Salonen, Juha Kankkunen, Miki Biasion, and Carlos Sainz—in short, every World Rally Champion from 1979 to 1990. The car is accompanied by a bonnet (front hood) that has been signed by every one of the luminaries on that list, with the exception of Kankkunen (who had previously signed the side of the car instead!). This significant quattro arguably became the most recognisable car to feature in the Race Of Champions, demonstrated in no fewer than 13 events everywhere from Bangkok and Beijing to Miami and Barbados. While in current ownership the quattro has been prepared and maintained by former Audi Sport engineer Karl Hasenbilcher. Today, chassis 018 presents in fine mechanical fettle, having largely been preserved for the past three decades in the same specification in which Walter Röhrl, Stig Blomqvist, Hannu Mikkola, Ari Vatanen etc drove the car in ROC 1989 and 1990, save for a livery change. It must be noted that there are some significant deviations from its original Group B specification, including a replacement engine block (iron) which in 2021 benefited from a complete rebuild at the hands of Audi Sport’s legendary engineer Karl Hasenbilcher. Due to the complexities of the car’s unique current set-up, it is strongly recommended that interested parties speak with an RM Sotheby’s car specialist and ideally arrange for an in-person viewing. In total, just 20 examples of Audi’s outrageous Sport quattro S1 E2 were ever built, each a shining, flame-spitting beacon from the dying days of the last great epoch of rallying. Of the few S1 E2s to have become available, this car is arguably the most well-known to recent generations of rally fans, and in our opinion is the most exciting Group B restoration prospect for many years. Its next custodian will have the opportunity to either keep the car as it has been known and run in the Race Of Champions, or to return it to Works-standard Group B configuration. 1985 Audi Sport quattro S1 E2 RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. Attention enthusiasts and collectors – a unique opportunity for Swiss car history! The Monteverdi High Speed 375 L with Frua body offered here is a one-off. Only this car (chassis number 2001), which was shown in Geneva in March 1968, was completed with the original bodywork by Pietro Frua. After Peter Monteverdi had initially registered the car to himself, it was taken over by Swiss businessman Alfred Hopf, with whom Monteverdi had already run the Écurie HOBA racing team a few years earlier. The car later went to the famous playboy Gunter Sachs, who presumably not only had his then wife Brigitte Bardot on board, but also the undisputed sex goddess of the era. In the 1980s, Monteverdi bought it back and it became part of the Monteverdi Museum. This beautiful Monteverdi High Speed 375 L “Frua” in the color Aqua Verde is in top-maintained and absolutely original collector’s condition. The Monteverdi High Speed 375 L with Frua bodywork is a one-off 2+2-seater sports car built by the Swiss car brand Monteverdi in 1968. It was originally planned to complement the two-seater High Speed 375 S (Frua) presented six months earlier, but was not produced in series in this form due to a copyright dispute. In 1969, a second model appeared with the designation High Speed 375 L, which had a Fissore body and looked significantly different. The Fissore version was built around one hundred times until 1976. Pietro Frua further developed his Monteverdi design a few years later for the British sports car manufacturer AC Cars. 1968 Monteverdi High Speed 375 L prototype Lutziger Classic Cars AG If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1966-porsche-906-carrera-6-2

At a time when Ferrari struggled to produce the 50 cars required to homologate a Dino V-6-powered 2-litre sportscar, Porsche almost immediately sold out its new 906. Featuring a tubular steel spaceframe chassis, low nose, “Kamm” tail, and curved windscreen, here was a diminutive low-drag racer that could still accommodate a suitcase to satisfy the rulebook. The project, realised under the direction of Porsche luminaries Ferdinand Piëch and Hanz Mezger, was shown to the press at the Zuffenhausen factory in January 1966 and sold to customers for $11,500. Just 65 chassis were produced, with only 52 examples fitted with the 901/20-type Carrera 6 engine. Newly developed for the 906, using titanium and magnesium parts, the motor was 54 kilograms lighter than that of a contemporary 911 road car. It returned 210 horsepower from 1,991 cc to propel a package that weighed only 580 kilograms. Of those cars, chassis number 906-146 offered here was delivered on 20 April 1966 to Pon’s Holland, the long-standing Volkswagen and Porsche importer. Per a copy of the Kardex sheet, the car was finished in Orange befitting of the first owner: Racing Team Holland. On 24 April the car made its competitive debut in the NAV national meeting at Zandvoort, where driver Wim Loos claimed a 2-litre class win. With David van Lennep next behind the wheel, podiums arrived at Trier and in the Paris Grand Prix at Montlhéry. The Carrera 6 enjoyed regular outings over the next year, including Ben Pon Jr chalking a brace of outright wins at Zandvoort, before the car was crashed in practice ahead of the 1000 Km of Spa. The Porsche was subsequently rebuilt at the Porsche factory in 1968 before being sold to Antoine Hezemans. Wearing a new white livery featuring a blue, white, and red (the Dutch national colours) stripe, the 906 banked three more victories before Arie Ruska bought the Porsche at the end of 1969. He raced it through to October 1971. The following year, the 906 was reportedly sold via renowned sports car dealer Rob de la Rive Box to a Dutch surgeon. The Porsche was later acquired by collector Albert Westerman, who retained it until 2002. The car then found it first non-Dutch custodian as it was acquired by the consignor owner in 2005. Treated to a body-off restoration by Gustav Ulrich and August Deutsch Mechanik (documented in accompanying photographic albums), the Porsche was returned to its period Orange hue, as it presents in today. The car was also fitted with a 911 engine. In addition to the spare correct-specification 901/20-type flat-six offered with the car, chassis number 906-146 is complemented by an expired FIA Historic Technical Passport plus inspection reports from marque authorities Walter Naeher (March 2013), Rolf Sprenger (July 2013), and Andy Prill (February 2025). A storied and successful example of Porsche’s great 2-litre sportscar, this 906 would make for a standout addition to any motorsport-centric collection. 1966 Porsche 906 Carrera 6 RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1963-jaguar-xke-eagle-engineered-lightweight-conversion-47

When Jaguar unveiled the XKE at the 1961 Geneva Motor Show, everything changed in the world of sports cars. Breathtaking design, unrivaled performance, and racing lineage made the XKE an immediate sensation. Beautiful and popular, the XKE proved even more spectacular, setting records, and posting victories all over the world. In the same tradition that Jaguar built the original lightweight race cars, recognized experts in period correct XKE craftsmanship and performance enhancements, together with the commissioning owner, spared no expense creating this superb tribute to Jaguars’ legendary XKE Lightweight Coupe. This car was originally commissioned and built to an incredibly high specification for world renowned collector, Paul Michaels, of Hexagon fame. Developed by recognized experts in period correct XKE craftsmanship and performance enhancements, together with the commissioning owner, the team spared no expense creating this superb tribute to Jaguars’ legendary XKE Lightweight Coupe. Beginning with a sound road car, this Series 1 coupe was comprehensively disassembled and reconfigured to full Lightweight standards including extensive modifications to the engine, body, suspension, electronic systems, cooling system, brakes, and interior. The hand-crafted car was completed in the early 2000s to impeccable standards by top fabrication specialists, following closely to factory specifications while using authentic parts. Following final modification, enhancements, and restoration works by Eagle for performance and safety resulted in this beautifully constructed Eagle-Engineered Lightweight Conversion. As might be expected, the construction history surrounding the build is both technically impressive and artfully engaging. Beginning with the body, the structural steel core was retained while a set of custom RS hand-formed alloy body panels (alloy hood, doors, rear arches, and trunk lid) were fitted to the steel structure. A set of lightweight peg-drive Dunlop-type magnesium wheels were fitted, and the engine was comprehensively built by Rob Beere, upgraded to 4.7 Liter specifications. Engine improvements included a big valve cylinder head with Sport cams, Sport lightened and balanced engine components, gas flowed head with matched ports, a gated anti-surge pump, and big-bore tubular exhaust manifolds. The engine was mounted using specially fabricated Sport mounts, a harmonic crankshaft damper, electronic ignition with performance plug leads, and a modern performance electric fuel pump. Cooling was improved using a modern cooling fan, lightweight alloy radiator, brass water tank, and Kevlar reinforced cooling hoses. The 4.7 Liter engine was dyno-tuned returning 307 hp at the rear wheels with more than 300 ft/pounds of torque from 3,200 to 5,200 rpm. An all synchro 5-speed Getrag gearbox was installed along with a 3.07:1 rear end. Brakes and suspension were upgraded as well with a high-powered stainless-steel shielded brake booster, AP front alloy brake calipers with 315mm ventilated rotors with adjustable brake bias. GT torsion bars and springs, GT sway bars and bushings, polyurethane radius arm and arb bushings, Eagle Sport radius arm conversion, and billet aluminum steering rack mounts were also installed. Additional features included Spax adjustable shocks, high output charging system with 75-amp alternator, a lightweight geared starter motor, and halogen headlights. The resultant performance enhancements and build exceeded $100,000.00 at the time of construction. Upon completion, Paul Michaels enjoyed the car, successfully participating in a variety of European tours, covering some 4,687 kms (2,912 miles). Around this time, Mr. Michaels was fortunate to purchase 86 PJ, an exceptional original and genuine factory lightweight, one of just twelve originally built. Michaels then commissioned Eagle, world renowned E-type experts, to carry out a comprehensive sympathetic restoration to the original lightweight and further engaged Eagle to sell this Lightweight Coupe. Eagle, most well known for their ‘Eagle E-Types’, including their own Lightweight inspired ‘Special Editions’, also offer carefully selected previously restored E-types, which can be crafted with unique and exclusive access to a range of Eagle engineering features as well as full Eagle commissions. As is the case with this offering, these cars, such as the example offered here, are uniquely branded as the "Eagle Engineered E-type”. With Michaels’ Eagle presented on exclusive offer, Eagle soon found a new owner in California. The new owner then engaged Eagle to apply their bespoke rear suspension ‘Sport specification’ upgrades to the car and to rebuild the suspension unit at the same time. Concurrent with other upgrades already fitted, the outcome mirrored the specifications of an "Eagle GT", this work was completed on 25 Nov 2004 and numbered as “Eagle-Engineered E-Type”, assigned number 41, and an Eagle GT badge was added to the center console. At this time, a dozen or so of the full, totally in house restored Eagle E-types had been completed and delivered. The Eagle Engineered option was introduced due to lead times for a completed commission running into several years. The car was brought to California, titled, and registered as a 1963 Jaguar for the new owner, who enjoyed the car for two years, driving it frequently. An avid vintage performance car enthusiast, the northern California owner engaged professional Jaguar performance specialists to service and upgrade the car as needed including regular fluids and interval services, including fluid exchanges, brake fluid flush, and seal replacement, a new electronic ignition kit, SU carburetor tuning, ammeter repair, water pump rebuild, various gaskets replaced, cooling system serviced, and various electrical wiring improved. In 2006 The car was then sold through Fantasy Junction to the third post-construction owner, who retained it for 14 years, enjoying it sparingly. In 2022, Fantasy Junction offered the car for sale again. At that time, 4,100 miles were indicated. The second post-build owner then repurchased the car making him both the second and fourth owner of record since the build. Under his ownership in November 2022 with 4,550 miles indicated, experts at American Classics and Performance, Cotati, CA performed approximately $29,000.00 worth of detailed services. Beginning the process, the top end of the engine was disassembled, and the head removed for a professional valve job, during reassembly the cam gears and upper chain tensioner were reinstalled with adjustments made, and the oil and filter changed. A new set of spark plugs was installed, and the engine was cleaned and prepped along with various items refinished as needed before complete reassembly. Additional work included replacing all fuel hoses, carburetor service including new floats, matched needles, tuning and synchronizing the carburetors, installing air/fuel meter, new screens for the velocity stacks, a new brake light switch, new battery, and new cooling hoses. The car also received a new fuel tank with new fuel hoses, the clutch slave and master cylinder were rebuilt, a new set of Avon tires (invoiced at separate cost) were balanced and mounted, and all four wheels were powder coated for increased durability. In late 2023 Fantasy Junction had the opportunity to place this example for a third consecutive time, this time with a seasoned enthusiast on the East Coast. Having owned and vigorously exercised both his original Ford GT40 on the track, and Ferrari 250 SWB on the road, the current and consigning owner recognized just how well this Eagle-Engineered example walked the line between a performance street car and visceral race car. Using it both in organized rally events as well as casual touring, updates and further refinements under his ownership continued with regular fluids changes, the sourcing of stock rear radius arms for a more plush long distance driving stance (included with the sale), polishing of the DOHC valve covers, and the fitment of Crow four point competition harness for both the driver and the passenger. In total, 6,250 miles have been added to the odometer since the 2004 completion on behalf of Mr. Michaels. Today the car presents as a spectacular example combining authentic aspects in tribute to the original Lightweight themes with impressive contemporary upgrades and excellent finishes throughout. The paint was done to a very high standard, with excellent gloss and consistent coverage, now showing just minor evidence of mellowing and enjoyable use. Panel fit and gaps are excellent in all aspects of body construction including the muscular riveted alloy rear fenders, smooth alloy nose, and alloy doors. With the front and rear bumpers removed, the body design is even more elegant and purposeful as a competition statement. The lighting, lenses, and windshield are in excellent condition including the leather bonnet latches, one of many handsome vintage touches. The recently refinished magnesium wheels and new Avon tires add to the authentic stance and presence. The exposed rivet construction, outside alloy filler cap, and smoothed front/rear finishes all contribute to the competition presence of this Eagle-Engineered Lightweight Conversion. The interior of the car is as carefully thought out and as nicely detailed as the exterior. Opening the lightweight aluminum doors, the competition inspired interior is comfortable, not sparse, conveying the perfect balance of racing and road-going excellence. The seats are wrapped in supple green leather accompanied by 5-point seat harnesses, a leather wrapped central tunnel, black low-pile carpeting, and a stock XKE dashboard trimmed with green and black accents completes the interior finishes. Modest use is evident in the interior mostly to the driver’s side seat bolster which shows some wear from entry and exit. The wood steering wheel is slightly larger in diameter to allow improved rigidity under more spirited driving. The 5-speed Getrag gearbox is topped with an alloy shift knob and traditionally fitted with a matching green leather boot. A roll bar is installed, green headliner affixed to the inner roof panel and rear hatch, a modern fire system is in place, and a matching Dunlop type spare tire is located under the rear hatch panel. The interior exhibits a nice blend of vintage competition Jaguars, with just enough comfort to enjoy driving without the harshness of typical competition cars. Lifting the lightweight aluminum hood, the engine and engine bay reveals the 4.7 Liter engine with details prepared in homage to the original. Though recently freshened with a valve job and other engine refinements, the engine retains a unified patina consistent with competition cars including heat toned header exhaust and buff aluminum finishes. Here too upgraded features have been thoughtfully installed for reliable use. Conceived and built with combined road and rally/touring use in mind, the engine systems are all easily accessed and modern upgrades including electronic ignition, electric fuel pump, modern alternator, and cooling enhancements (alloy radiator and electric fan) have proven to be appropriately specified. Further features include recently tuned triple SU carburetors, traditional Lucas Engineering branded features, new fuel and cooling hoses, and a new battery. The underside of the car is very clean, nicely sorted, and appropriately finished reflective of the miles and use reported since the build was completed. The car starts and drives very well. The 4.7 Liter engine is very strong with very quick throttle response and yet still usable for general driving, tours, or light duty track days. The 5-speed gearbox is a full synchro Getrag unit which operates smoothly and allows for 80+ mph in overdrive 5th gear while the straight-six calms hums at only 2400 rpm. The brakes and steering are very well dialed in and the 3.07:1 rear end is suitable for highway use. In all, the driving experience is both invigorating and delightful, feeling very much like a competition car, in looks and heritage, but delivering a satisfying road manner that a capable driver can enjoy with confidence. The car is accompanied by numerous copies of build documentation, copies of invoices for recent services, Eagle-Engineering specifications sheets, dyno sheet, magazine articles, a series of photographs showing the build including body work and engine build, a car cover, a reprinted owner's manual, and a set of tools in a tool roll. For anyone seeking an exciting competition inspired car with vintage presence, this Jaguar XKE Eagle-Engineered Lightweight Conversion offers a unique design coupled with wonderful driving manners and superb performance that is sure to please any Jaguar performance enthusiast. 1963 Jaguar XKE Eagle-Engineered Lightweight Conversion 4.7 Driver Source Fine Motorcars If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1954 Aston Martin DB2/4 1

Having been beautifully and painstakingly restored by renowned German specialist Thomas Weber, this Aston Martin DB2/4 is now being offered for sale in exceptional condition. Chassis number LML/853 was sold new via Berkeley Motors in Bristol and its guarantee was issued on 24 November 1954. Its first owner was AHL Eccles, who lived in South Wales – its registration number of LCY 434 was issued in Swansea. Its continuation logbook shows that it was owned by a Mr Baxter in 1973, and by 1982 it was owned by F Somer in London. The Aston Martin was then acquired by Thomas Weber in 2012, and he embarked on a thorough restoration that was carried out to the very highest standard. The DB2/4 was completely stripped down, with the body being removed from the chassis. Both of them were sandblasted back to bare metal, the bulkhead was renewed, and sections of metalwork that were replaced included the rear wheelarches, door skins, floors and sills. The original six-cylinder engine was rebuilt using forged con-rods and pistons, plus new cylinder liners, and a new aluminium cylinder head was fitted. The gearbox was rebuilt using new bearings, seals and – where necessary – synchroniser rings, and the rear axle was also rebuilt. The brake and fuel systems were both overhauled, a new wiring harness was fitted, all of the original brightwork was rechromed, and the interior was retrimmed. The DB2/4 is now presented in its original colour scheme of black with green interior, and the extremely high quality of the restoration is apparent wherever you look. Now being offered for sale with a full photographic record of its rebuild, this Aston Martin DB2/4 is truly stunning example of this handsome and versatile 1950s British sports car. 1954 Aston Martin DB2/4 Thiesen Hamburg GmbH If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. The notice and take down procedure is described here: https://www.speedholics.com/copyright Having been beautifully and painstakingly restored by renowned German specialist Thomas Weber, this Aston Martin DB2/4 is now being offered for sale in exceptional condition. • 1988 Porsche 962 C

Built in 1988 for the Trust Racing Team in Japan for the All-Japan Sports Prototype Championship (JSPC), using the ultra-stiff and ultra-fast Richard Lloyd Racing (RLR) tub, as penned by Nigel Stroud. With RLR's engineering genius, and development in Japan, the car would tackle both JSPC and the Japanese rounds of the World Sports Car Championship, taking on the best the world had to offer in Group C racing. Drivers George Fouché, Steven Andskar, Sarel van der Merwe, Syunji Kasuya, Paolo Barilla and Eje Elgh would see great success with the car from 1988 to 1991, including multiple podiums - helping Porsche to the manufacturer's titles in 1988 and '89. During those 4 years of competing in the JSPC, the Nisseki Trust Porsche 962 would go onto become one of the iconic 'poster cars' of the series. Following its retirement in 1992, the car would go into a private Japanese collection. Today the car has the potential of being an overall winner in historic Group C all over Europe, and of course the incredible Le Mans Classic. 3.2L water/water engine Results 1988 JSPC 3/6 Fuji Ret TRUST NISSEKI 1988 JSPC 4/10 Suzuka 2nd TRUST NISSEKI 1988 JSPC 5/1 Fuji Ret TRUST NISSEKI 1988 JSPC 7/24 Fuji Ret TRUST NISSEKI 1988 JSPC 8/28 Suzuka 15th TRUST NISSEKI 1988 JSPC 10/9 Fuji 10th TRUST NISSEKI 1989 JSPC 3/12 Fuji Ret TRUST NISSEKI 1989 FIA WSPC 4/9 Suzuka 13th RLR TRUST NISSEKI 1989 JSPC 4/30 Fuji 2nd TRUST NISSEKI 1989 JSPC 7/23 Fuji 2nd TRUST NISSEKI 1989 JSPC 10/8 Fuji 2nd TRUST NISSEKI 1989 JSPC 12/3 Suzuka 5th TRUST NISSEKI 1990 JSPC 3/11 Fuji 3rd TRUST NISSEKI 1990 FIA WSPC 4/8 Suzuka 7th BRUN TRUST NISSEKI 1991 FIA WSPC 4/14 Suzuka 8th COURAGE TRUST TAKASU CLINIC 1991 JSPC 5/5 Fuji 4th TRUST NISSEKI 1991 JSPC 7/21 Fuji 5th TRUST NISSEKI 1991 JSPC 8/25 Suzuka 5th TRUST NISSEKI 1991 JSPC 9/15 Sugo 4th TRUST NISSEKI 1991 JSPC 10/6 Fuji 5th TRUST NISSEKI 1991 FIA WSPC 10/27 Autopolis 8th COURAGE TRUST NISSEKI 1991 JSPC 11/3 Sugo 7th TRUST NISSEKI 1988 Porsche 962 C Duncan Hamilton Rofgo Ltd If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer.
