  • 1998 Ferrari 550 Maranello 1

This 1998 Ferrari 550 Maranello is finished in Argento Nurburgring and shows 66,850 km on the odometer. The 550 Maranello’s design is intended to be evocative of Ferrari’s greatest hits from the 1960s and 1970s while still providing outstanding aerodynamic efficiency and stability. With numerous cues from the 275 GTB and 365 GTB/4, the Maranello was a classic when it was first shown and has aged beautifully in the 27 years since. Although the basic architecture for the 550 Maranello was shared with the 4-Seat 456 GT, 100mm were cut from the wheelbase, and power increased significantly. The interior of the 550 Maranello is beautiful in its simplicity, and one of the last truly timeless interior designs from Ferrari before screens became an integral part of the experience. This example is fitted with a deep red-brown leather known as Pelle, accented with lighter brown carpeting throughout the cabin. A pair of nicely bolstered bucket seats are extremely comfortable for long-distance driving but will also hold you in place when the road gets twisty. In front of the driver, a 3-spoke steering wheel frames a simple gauge pod with a tachometer, speedometer, oil pressure, and water temperature- while three other gauges sit in a pod atop the dashboard to your right. Behind you is a sizable parcel shelf that is perfect for carrying overnight bags for a weekend away. Powering the 550 Maranello is a 5.5 liter V12 with dual overhead cams and 4-valves per cylinder rated at 478 horsepower and 419 lb-ft of torque. This engine is known to be one of the more dependable engines to come out of Ferrari and does not require engine out servicing like the mid-engine cars of the same time period. In all 550s, the only available gearbox is a 6-speed manual transaxle that sends power to the rear wheels. Starting with the 575M in 2002, the F1 gearbox became the almost universal choice for front-engine V12 Ferraris, making the 550 truly the end of the classic era of Ferrari. When a car combines timeless beauty and outstanding performance, you know that the car that results is bound to become a classic. Now that the 550 Maranello is more than 25 years old, it has achieved classic status but thanks to its modern technology, it can be used every day without worry. 1998 Ferrari 550 Maranello ISSIMI, Inc If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1975-chevron-b29-formula-2

Ex-Brian Redman with BMW M12 power. Comprehensively restored without regards to cost by J&L Fabrication Chevron was one of the most innovative and successful race car companies ever assembled. Built from the ground up by self-taught engineering genius Derek Bennett, it was, despite humble beginnings and minimal finances, immediately profitable. Unlike many experts in the complex and often costly world of motorsports racing, Bennett lacked specialized engineering training, a college degree, and marketing savvy. His expertise, however, evolved from his combined fascination with aircraft and racing, derived primarily from his daring experiments and short-lived apprenticeships in a range of fabrication shops. A bootstrapped start-up long before the term was coined, Chevron thrived on the facile and clever efforts of just a few staff members, quickly amassing race wins in every category entered, right up to Formula One, where a promising car was planned but never completed. Chevron’s best and most successful cars were 2.0L Sports Racers. Along with Lola, Chevron cars were among the most competitive small bore sports racings cars of the 1970s, leveraging their lightweight and durable chassis construction with proven engines and astutely designed aerodynamic bodies. Both Chevron and Lola essentially dominated sprint and endurance 2.0L sports car racing, with Chevron winning their class at the famed 24 hours of Le Mans three times: 1974 (B23), 1979, and 1980 (B36). History and Build Details of this Chevron Both the Chevron B25 and B27 had sold in strong numbers, so the B29 became a logical improved iteration of this successfully refined configuration. Of the three markets available to suit the B29, Chevron would construct just five cars for Formula 2, Europe. This car, chassis number 29-75-30, a late season works development car, was constructed for Hans Binder and was initially powered by a BMW engine. Once completed, the works car was test driven by Brian Redman and delivered to Jorg Obermoser, Team Warsteiner Eurorace. Binder would drive the car in Formula 2, powered by a Rosche BMW engine. In 1976 Brain Redman would race at the New Zealand Internationals as part of the Fred Opert team. In late 1976, the car was sold to David Oxton, New Zealand, and raced in the New Zealand Formula Pacific series powered by a Formula Pacific BDA engine through 1979. From 1979-1984 William Kelly and Gary Lang, NZ, would compete in international races. The car would subsequently move to Chris Read ownership in 1984. Read would retain the car until 1991 when it was sold to Kenny Smith, then Brian Sampson (1992-2000), Peter Whelan (2000), Miles Jackson (2008) and then displayed at the World of Speed Museum, Wilsonville, OR until August 2016. Driven by Hans Binder, Brian Redman, David Oxton, Eric Morgan, and Chris Read, the inaugural race, August 31, 1975, at Silverstone would be the first of 44 total recorded races. Build Details and Recent Preparation Among the many mechanical features of the car, the BMW engine runs a factory original BMW cylinder head, FGA transmission, Hewland differential, Cam and Pawl LSD, magnafluxed suspension and steering (2010), Koni shock absorbers, original type 4 aluminum caliper Lockheed 10” and 11” steel disc brakes, and 23-13 x 13 rear, 20-9.5 x 13 front wheels. In 2009, the engine was comprehensively rebuilt by VDS engines totaling over $53,000.00 (invoice included with documentation). Work performed included rebuild and flow test for the Kugelfischer fuel system, Quarter Master 7 1⁄4'' clutch, a new aluminum timing gear cover, Laggerplatte intermediate bearing plate, new pistons and connecting rods, new seals, new water pump driven pulley, new fuel lines, new inlet trumpets, cylinder bore, sodium dichromate magnesium components, cylinder head resurfacing, magnetic particle inspection, and dyno testing. In addition to the extensive engine rebuild, Taylor Race Engineering, Inc., Plano, TX rebuild the FGA transaxle ($11,000 invoice, 2009), a set of front and rear wheels purchased from Chevron Cars ($3,400) were purchased (two spare sets are included), BMW fuel injection pump and 4 injectors ($12,000), and numerous other invoices completing the rebuild to a very high standard. From 2020-2022 J&L Fabricating, Puyallup, WA prepared the car further including the installation of new Willans 6-point racing harness, two new batteries, a new custom fitted seat, chassis dyno including camber alignment and corner weights, new fire bottle (2020), gearing set up for Ridge Seattle, trackside support, new Avon and GoodYear tires (May 2020), polish and nickel plate for new roll bar and down bars, install new roll bar, duplicate left and right fuel cells ($4,600), install Chevron supplied engine cover, wing pylon, and airbox, new vented front brake rotors and four new dog rings (2021), along with the fabrication of numerous parts, specialized details, and preparation for racing. Current Condition Overview Today this Chevron offers exemplary presentation with excellent paint and beautifully finished competition livery. The car has been restored to a very high standard both cosmetically and mechanically with only minor evidence of track use evident on the body. The racing livery is reflective of the 1976 Peter Stuyvesant Series when piloted by Brian Redman where he finished 2nd behind Australian Max Stewart’s Lola T400. The clean white paint scheme offers a fresh perspective on the advanced aerodynamics devised during this experimental period before computer analysis. The lightweight fiberglass bodywork sits low and tight to the chassis with the center post mounted rear wing perched well behind the rear axle. The sophisticated bodywork includes a side intake scoop feeding the fuel injected engine, a dramatic low front air dam, and a softly articulated engine cover to facilitate proper airflow. The cosmetic condition of the paint and lettering is very high quality with great gloss and vivid colors. Inside, the cockpit is clean, simple, and properly composed, including a custom formed racing seat, up to date 6-point restraint system, and a proper fire system (bottle replaced 2020) all of which confidently present the high quality of work performed on this car. The car sits on a set of staggered size Chevron supplied wheels shod with Good Year racing tires. The cockpit has been recently updated with a newly fitted roll bar and down bars. Under the lightweight body sections, the well-prepared frame and suspension have been thoughtfully tested, serviced, and restored with attention to detail including the use of high-quality materials, updated fasteners and hardware, and durable race-proven finishes. The entire engine compartment has been professionally finished with attention to cosmetic presentation and mechanical excellence. Everything from the Kugelfischer fuel delivery system, electrical components, suspension, and brakes have been tested and reassembled with care and accuracy. As indicated on the Hobbs quartz hour meter, the BMW engine has logged 72.6 hours since the engine was rebuilt. Beautifully prepared by passionate experts and dedicated ownership, this BMW powered M12 B29 race car offers notable documented history from new. The exceptional presentation offers the next enthusiast a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a superb vintage race car with confidence. The car is accompanied by invoices dating back to 2009 under current ownership. These invoices contain detailed information on all services, parts, and maintenance performed on the car. Additionally, 4 palates of spares accompany the car: Two fiberglass front air dams Front air dam fiberglass mold Spare windscreen A spare set of valve cover gaskets A red center cowl body section Body center cowl section mold Unfinished center cowl section Spare gears, fuel pump, half shafts etc (two boxes) Spare BMW crank from VDS in box Spare set of front and rear wheels and Goodyear tires Spare set of front and rear wheels and Avon tires Spare front and rear batteries Subframe fixture and various frame sections Misc. engine cowling parts Spare BMW head Numerous engine parts Please note: The personalized fitted seat pictured will be retained by the current owner and does not accompany the sale. 1975 Chevron B29 Formula 2 Fantasy Junction If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1968 Alfa Romeo GTA 1300 Junior

According to the Centro Documentazione Alfa Romeo, this specific Alfa Romeo GTA 1300 Junior was produced on the 21th of June in 1968 and sold to Velletri (near Rome), Italy. The car was distributed by Alfa Romeo dealer Palombo & C. srl and sold to its first owner Mr. Sante for the price of 1.595.000 Italian Lire. Mr. Sante kept the car until the 23th of January 1976 when he sold it to Mr. R. Cesare from Velletri. Just a month later, the car was sold to Mr. Enzo, also from Velletri, who kept the car 6 years. In October 1982, this GTA was bought by the distributor Palombo & C. srl. In 2002 the car was still owned by Palombo and still had its first Italian registration number (RomaD07190). In 2002 the car was exported to Japan. The car was first registered in Japan in May 2003. The car was then owned by a Mr. Yuuko (or Hiroko?) Torii from Nishio-city, Aichi Prefecture. The last Japanese owner was Cristal Eight from Yashio-City, Saitama Prefecture. On the 7th of August in 2016, the car was exported back to Europe for the current owner. The car was then registered in Germany of which the TUV records are on file. The owner drove the car only a few times and the car was carefully stored in his collection until now. In 2011 mileage was only 94.100 km. Now recorded mileage is 97.100 km. We are pleased to offer you this wonderful very early GTA 1300 Junior on behalf of its owner. It is no secret that we love Alfa Romeo at VSOC and this car ticks all the right boxes. The car is remarkably original, both the exterior and interior are in wonderful condition. The panel fit is correct and the old dealer sticker is still on the rear bumper! The car has a strong engine and the gearbox is shifting smoothly. Handling of the car is razor sharp and the engine sound is something which can only be created by Italians.. This wonderful GTA has a nice ownership history and has obviously been well taken care of. In the file is a ‘Certificato di Origine’ from Alfa Romeo, Automobile Club d’Italia (ACI) homologation papers, Italian registration records and export documents, brochures, instruction books and manuals (see pictures). 1968 Alfa Romeo GTA 1300 Junior Very Superior Old Cars If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1966 Maserati Mexico 4.7 Coupe by Vignale

The Maserati Mexico, with its dignified lines by Vignale’s Virginio Vairo, airy, luxuriously trimmed cabin, and powerful V-8 engine, epitomizes the notion of the stylish, mid-century Italian grand tourer. A two-door development of the Maserati Quattroporte saloon, it was also technologically advanced as the first production Maserati equipped with four-wheel servo-assisted ventilated disc brakes. This very early and numbers-matching engine Mexico, chassis 026, is confirmed by correspondence with Maserati Classiche as the 13th example built, completed on 2 November 1966. It is one of approximately 485 produced, of which just 175 were believed equipped with the 290-horsepower 4.7-liter DOHC V-8 engine. Under prior ownership, the car was sent to Mike Wilson’s Restorations of Visalia, California, during which time the car was disassembled, and its numbers-matching engine sent out to be rebuilt. Chassis 026 then passed to a subsequent owner who entrusted it to noted restorer David Zumstein of Abingdon West Ltd. in Fallbrook, California for what would become a two-year, comprehensive mechanical and cosmetic freshening, including retrimming the interior in supple cognac leather and refinishing the exterior in the handsome, Jaguar-sourced color of Opalescent Blue metallic. Desirably specified with factory air conditioning, power windows, and a ZF five-speed manual transmission, this Mexico is further equipped with a Becker Europa AM/FM stereo, and five correct Borrani wire wheels shod in Pirelli P4000 tires. Scores of restoration invoices and correspondence with Maserati Classiche confirming it to retain its original 4.7-litre engine complete the sale. Featuring a thorough sorting and confirmed authenticity, this Maserati Mexico 4.7-liter Coupe remains ideally suited to the task for which it was designed: Luxurious, spirited drives of any duration. 1966 Maserati Mexico 4.7 Coupe by Vignale RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1970 Alfa Romeo 1750 GT Veloce GTV

This beautiful example was first registered in Italy in 1970 and was fully restored just one year ago in 2023. Despite this, it still carries its original number plates and has a genuine 79,950kms on the clock. The chassis number is AR 1381395, along with Engine: 00548. During the pandemic, the car, which was already in decent condition, was completely disassembled and restored inside, outside, and underneath. The exterior was repainted in French Blue, a colour used for only 200 cars, and it is the original colour, as confirmed by the certificate issued by Alfa Heritage. Underneath, two corners of the front floor pan were replaced with new sheet metal due to rust. The underside was cleaned, and the original grey underbody protective coating was reapplied. The brakes were fully overhauled, with the replacement of rubber hoses, the pump, brake pads, and a complete revision of the four brake calipers. All the tie rods in the front end are new, along with new tyres and Chromodora magnesium alloy wheels, which were an optional feature at the time and have been refurbished. The engine has been completely rebuilt, including a new water pump, alternator, starter motor, carburettor overhaul, and a brand-new exhaust system. The windshield was replaced because the old one was scratched. The seat covers were replaced because the old ones were worn out over time, with new covers identical to the originals. The dashboard is perfect, without cracks or defects, and the instruments work perfectly, as does the electrical system. The front headlights and rear taillights are also new. The bodywork is excellent, with the chassis free of any kind of visible corrosion. The chrome parts are excellent, the alloy wheels are correct and in excellent condition, as are all the tyres. The beautiful light brown leather interior presents beautifully and has no rips or tears. The headlining is also perfect, completely intact, which is extraordinary. The car is in perfect mechanical condition, as you would expect given how recently it was restored. The legendary 4-cylinder double overhead cam engine is perfect and "on the button," as is the wonderful 5-speed gearbox. 1970 Alfa Romeo 1750 GT Veloce GTV Iconic Auctioneers Ltd If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1964 Iso Rivolta GT 300

First registration 12.1964 Swiss road registration with veteran entry The Iso Rivolta 300 is a luxurious coupe developed in 1962 by Iso Automotoveicoli S.p.A. in Bresso, a suburb of Milan. The intention of entrepreneur Renzo Rivolta, together with former Ferrari engineer Giotto Bizzarrini, was to create a Gran Turismo car in the original sense of the word (“great journey”). For racing, however, the Iso Rivolta 300 was not homologated as a “GT” (Gran Turismo), but as a touring car. Between 1962 and 1970, 792 Bertone coupes were built, with designations varying between GT Coupé, IR 300/340 or just Iso-Rivolta. According to the will of its designers, the car should be characterized by a powerful engine, a high quality chassis and an elegant body. The engine and transmission of the Iso Rivolta 300 were not the car’s own designs, but large-series units from General Motors and BorgWarner respectively. The V8 cylinder with 5.4 liters displacement corresponds to that of the Chevrolet Corvette. The four-speed transmission is fully synchronized and is shifted with a center shift lever. The front wheels of the Iso Rivolta 300 are suspended on double wishbones of different lengths with anti-roll bars. In the rear, the car has a de-dion axle with wading linkage (for precise axle lateral control) and double trailing arms. Front and rear suspensions have coil springs and hydraulic telescopic shock absorbers. The sleek body was created by Bertone, a coupe with a wheelbase of 270 cm, which provides ample space for four to five people. The luxurious interior is equipped with cowhide leather at extra cost. The arrangement of the steering wheel, gearshift, switches and pedals is considered exemplary, with the distance from brake pedal to accelerator pedal chosen to allow easy downshifting with “intermediate throttle”. This Iso Rivolta GT 300 originated in Portugal and was in the same ownership there for well over 30 years before finding its way to Switzerland via Austria. A few years ago the car was completely restored and is in very nice top collector condition. 1964 Iso Rivolta GT 300 Lutziger Classic Cars AG If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1969 Ferrari Dino 206 GT by Scaglietti

Powered by a smaller-capacity 2-litre V-6 that was shared with the Fiat Dino, the early 206 GT represents the mid-engined Dino in its purest and rarest form. Prior to the introduction of the brawnier 246, Ferrari built only 153 examples of the aluminium-bodied sports car between 1967 and 1969, with this example heralding from the final year of production. According to Ferrari records, left-hand-drive chassis 00388 was completed on 20 February and sold new via Nocentini Automobili in Prato, Italy. Finished in the sophisticated shade of Argento over a cabin trimmed with Nera vinyl seats featuring Bleu fabric inserts, the car was registered the following month to a local resident, Mr Lorenzo Tempesti. He enjoyed the Dino greatly, reportedly exceeding 32,400 kilometres before selling to car dealer, Mr Giovanni Tronic, in March 1971. The Ferrari then moved to Milan under new ownership before being acquired a year later by Mr Saverio Catanese, who kept it until September 1974. After finding another owner in the country, later in the decade the car was exported to Southern California. Having spent time in San Jose, Santa Barbara, Novato, and latterly Sausalito, the Dino was registered in the United Kingdom in March 2005 before being bought by billionaire collector and founder of the Nationales Automuseum, Mr Friedhelm Loh. He freighted the Ferrari to Germany, where the car has lived ever since. During this period, while repainted to red over black, chassis 00388 was awarded Ferrari Classiche certification in September 2007. Between 2010 and 2014, the Dino was cared for by another prominent German collector, before being sold to a Munich resident, who entrusted the 206 GT for maintenance and storage with classic and race car specialist Tom Fischer. Since returned to its factory colour combination of Argento over Nera vinyl seats and wearing a set of Cromodora magnesium knock-off wheels, chassis 00388 retains its matching-numbers engine and alloy body. The car further benefits from a comprehensive history report by marque expert Marcel Massini. A handsomely specified example of the early and rare aluminium 206 GT, this Dino is sure to appeal to marque enthusiasts. 1969 Ferrari Dino 206 GT by Scaglietti RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. The notice and take down procedure is described here: https://www.speedholics.com/copyright Powered by a smaller-capacity 2-litre V-6 that was shared with the Fiat Dino, the early 206 GT represents the mid-engined Dino in its purest and rarest form.
