- 1961 Jaguar E-Type Series
This gorgeous E-Type was built in December 1961 and in January 1962 it was exported to New-York. In July 1962 the Jaguar was registered to its first owner in Beverly Hills California (where else!). Unfortunately no history of the car is available up to 2009, except for the fact that the E-Type received a colour change from Opalescent Gun Metal with a red leather interior to the current red with black. The (matching numbers) engine and the Moss gearbox were both overhauled in 2010. A copy of the JDHT certificate is available. In 2011 the car was imported into Switzerland and after further extensive mechanical work was registered and MOT’d in Zurich for the first time in March 2012. This much sought-after Flat Floor E-Type (the holy grail of E-Types really) is in excellent condition and, with its newly overhauled carburettors drives perfectly. It has passed a Veteran MOT in January 2020. 1961 Jaguar E-Type Series Oldtimer Galerie International GmbH If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1963 Ferrari 330 America
After three years of tremendous success with the 250 GTE, Ferrari had planned its interim replacement, which was powered by the new 4.0-litre Colombo V-12. Aside from the powerplant, the 330 America—aptly named, given its target market—shared the GTE’s chassis and was visually similar to its predecessor. According to marque expert Marcel Massini, only 50 were built before production was ended to make way for the all-new 330 GT 2+2 in January 1964. Chassis 5113 was the 48th 330 America built, leaving the Ferrari factory in mid-November 1963. Specified with imperial instrumentation, this Ferrari was dispatched to Luigi Chinetti Motors in New York, and arrived in the Big Apple on 16 December 1963, prior to being sold through Ferrari Seattle. In July 1973, Massini notes that chassis 5133 was owned by a gentleman in Redmond, Washington. Three years later it was offered in the Ferrari Market Letter, but remained unsold and was placed in storage until 1984. On 5 May 1984, chassis 5113 was advertised for sale and purchased by Dr. Charles Kirkpatrick of Denver, Colorado. This owner restored this 330 America, refinishing the car in Rosso Cordoba and trimming the cabin in Fawn leather, with the work carried out by Bob Raub. Cherishing this 330 America until his passing in 2014, Mr. Kirkpatrick displayed chassis 5113 at multiple concours and Ferrari Club of America events. The current owner acquired this Ferrari 330 America at auction in August 2014, and by December that year had received Ferrari Classiche certification. The “Red Book” notes this example retains its matching-numbers chassis and engine. Today, this 330 America presents a unique opportunity to acquire one of Ferrari’s rarest grand tourers. 1963 Ferrari 330 America RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1965-porsche-915
This 1965 Porsche 911 is a very interesting example that has been modified for race use over the years. The car is currently finished in black over a red base - although the original color was Dolphin Gray- with red paint showing through on the interior and under the hood and rear decklid. The paint shows significant patina around the car, including some peeled paint in areas and the remnants of old racing numbers ghosted on the front bonnet. In Europe, there is a robust racing series for these early 911s, and this car is a prime candidate for that. This example was set up by the head of PCA’s racing division, so it drives spectacularly and is currently set up for street use. Although this car has been extensively modified for track use, it has been lovingly cared for over the years and retains nearly all of the original records back to new, as well as the 1965 record books. Sitting on a set of chrome Fuchs 5-spoke wheels, it comes with two pairs of spare wheels, including the original steel wheels that have been powder-coated silver. The interior is largely stripped out but does retain some of the classic early 911 hallmarks. The carpet has been entirely removed and the floor is simply red painted metal, but the door cards and rear quarter panels remain in the original arrangement. The Sparco race seats that were in the car have been replaced by the original-style low-back bucket seats which are great for street use and make the car simple to get in and out of. Porsche fans will note the original wood dashboard has been retained as have the 5-gauge cluster with the classic green text on a black background. When you get into the driver’s seat, you are met with a 3-spoke MOMO steering wheel with an Alcantara rim, and the peddles have been replaced with drilled aluminum racing pedals that offer great grip when driving. Sitting in the rear of the car is a 2.0-liter flat-6 that was thoroughly serviced by Porsche specialist Jerry Woods. The engine breathes through a pair of triple-choke PMO carburetors and an MSD ignition is fitted for better spark control. This engine is not the original unit to the car but instead a correct replacement from a 1966 911. When you open the front bonnet, you notice an ATL competition fuel cell that was FIA-certified in 1999. As the car weighs less than 1,900 lbs, the 2.0-liter engine makes it feel remarkably quick, and the properly set up suspension allows you to carry tremendous speed through corners. These early Porsche 911s are special cars with the short wheelbase only in production until 1969. As the value of early cars continues to rise, the prospect of buying one to turn into a race car is largely unrealistic, which makes buying an already converted example particularly appealing for vintage competition use. Regardless of whether or not you plan to take this car to the track or use it as a fast road car on the weekends, nothing compares to the nimble chassis, revvy small-displacement flat-6, and a sub-1900 lb curb weight from behind the wheel. 1965 Porsche 911 ISSIMI, Inc If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. The notice and take down procedure is described here: https://www.speedholics.com/copyright This 1965 Porsche 911 is a very interesting example that has been modified for race use over the years. - 1958 Ferrari 250 GT 'Tour de France'
In 1955, FIA was tasked to reclassify sports car racing in an effort to reduce the influence of grand prix technology on sports cars that were simply becoming too fast for open road courses. The new fixed displacement classes placed Ferrari and their Colombo V12 3-liter engine in an ideal position. Ferrari had a long tradition of building dual-purpose road racers, and the new Scaglietti-bodied 250 GT Berlinetta (constructed on the 2,600 mm LWB chassis) was a stunning beginning to what would become a legendary series of cars. By 1956, the 250 GT Berlinetta distinguished itself in a multitude of races, including the Marquis de Portago's victory at the new Tour de France rally in September. Shortly thereafter, Oliver Gendebien won the race in another LWB Berlinetta in 1957, and again in 1958. The versatility and reliability of these cars proved without a doubt that the 3,600-mile combination of circuits and hill climbs were of little match for the capable 250 GT. With four consecutive victories at the French rally, this model would become affectionately known as the 250 GT Tour de France, or TdF. Ferrari would build these cars through early 1959, establishing the 250 GT TdF as one of the most desirable early racing models, and eventually rising to the pinnacle of collector status. The combination of racing prowess, impressive historic provenance, and stunning alloy Scaglietti coachwork results in one of the finest hand built cars Ferrari has ever created. This particular single louver, covered headlight 250 GT Tour de France features a stunning and painstaking Ferrari Classiche restoration. According to Ferrari factory build sheets, the chassis was delivered to Scaglietti on February 22, 1958, with instructions to construct alloy, covered headlight coachwork, while the motor, gearbox, and rear end were assembled and completed on March 25th and 26th. Four days later the car was officially completed at the factory and prepared for delivery. During the research and restoration of this car, Ferrari Classiche verified chassis no. 0899 GT as the third example of approximately 37 single louver cars built, and the 42nd example of 77 total Tour de France Berlinettas constructed. In early April 1958, the newly completed car was delivered to privateer racer and textile entrepreneur Eduardo Lualdi-Gabardi, a resident of Busto Arsizio. Over the following year, Lualdi-Gabardi entered 0899 GT in no fewer than thirteen races, achieving first-in-class finishes at the Coppa della Consuma and the Varese-Campo di Fiori Hill Climb. In September 1958, the Berlinetta finished third overall at the Coppa InterEuropa at Monza and second overall at the Trofeo Lumezzane. This was followed by a remarkable first overall finish at the Coppa Sant' Ambroeus at Monza in November. In late 1958, Gabardi sold 0899 GT to Ferdinando Pagliarini who campaigned the car through the 1959 season, achieving a third-overall finish at the Coppa San Marino Hill Climb in April. A month later the Berlinetta achieved an overall victory at the Castell' Arquato-Vernasca Hill Climb, and second-in-class finishes were recorded at the Coppa della Concuma Hill Climb in June and the Pontedecimo-Giovi Hill Climb in September. In the spring of 1960, Paul Mounier, a French resident of Algeria and president of the Lycee Techniques d'Alger (Algiers Technical School) became the new owner. Mounier, an importer of French cars in Algiers, registered the TdF in the French colony for racing use. Mounier campaigned the car in both France and Africa, finishing fourth overall at the Rallye Alger-Hassi Messaoud-Alger in April 1960, participating in the Oran Hill Climb, and finishing 7th overall at the Grand Prix de Rouen. In 1961, having mercifully escaped the ravages of racing for two years, the car was damaged in a road accident, causing Mounier to sell the car to Marseilles garage owner Aldo Montagna. As is the case for so many of these early racing cars, the engine was dispatched to a new owner. The race-prepped experimental engine (internal no. 174 C) was sold to French shoemaker Charles Jourdan, who installed it into a second-series 250 GT Cabriolet. Most critically, and for the benefit of history, the chassis, complete with gearbox, front and rear suspension, brakes, steering box, rear-end drive, fuel tank and the complete dash console, were preserved as a unit. In 1969, Jacques O'Hana of Marseilles purchased the chassis. O'Hana registered the car and retained possession for almost 20 years, at one point selling components to sculptor and racing enthusiast François Chevallier. At this time, Chevallier attempts to utilize a portion of the original bodywork, mating it with a 250 GT Coupe in an attempt to create a replica TdF, while unfortunately stamping the replica as 0899 GT. For a period of time, two cars claimed the 0899 origin, while both the replica and the original chassis existed. Eventually, Chevallier sells the original components back to O'Hana, who in turn sells them to Michel Ferry of Monaco in 1987. Mr. Ferry works tirelessly to promptly end the replica's erroneous claims to 0899 GT by reportedly obtaining a letter through Ferrari France's F40 LM team manager Jean Sage explaining the chassis' actual history, and the false stamping used on the replica car. Ferry retains possession of the legitimate car and in 1990 commissions the creation of proper alloy coachwork by the esteemed award-winning craftsmen at Carrozzeria AutoSport in Modena, Italy. In 2012, the restoration process is taken one step further to the highest standards, entrusted to the masters at Ferrari Classiche, ensuring the utmost authenticity and historic accuracy, befitting a car of this stature. In addition to a comprehensive chassis restoration, a newly cast correct-specification type 128 C engine was supplied by the Ferrari factory. Ferrari stamped and authenticated the engine as 0899 GT, mating it to the original 0899 GT chassis. In February 2014, the factory certified the Berlinetta with a Ferrari Classiche Red Book asserting that the car today retains its original matching-numbers chassis (including suspension and brakes), gearbox, and Borrani wire wheels. To further verify and confirm their findings, a metallurgy test was performed during the certification process confirming the correct age of 0899GTs chassis. As part of the documentation process, copies of the Ferrari's original built sheets were retained. In the final statement of authenticity the factory confirmed, without doubt, that this car is the legitimate and singular 0899 GT as verified by Ferrari's Marco Arrighi unequivocally stating, "Your car is certified by Ferrari and it means that no other car can be recognized as chassis number 0899 GT." During the final points of the restoration, 0089 GT was entrusted to Rod Drew and Francorchamps Ferrari Service in Costa Mesa, CA, with additional work by Rex Nguyen and Moto Technique, in order to ensure the highest possible mechanical and performance standards, as well as the finest cosmetic preparation befitting concours level scrutiny. In August 2016, 0899 GT was presented at Concorso Italiano in Monterey California, where the car won both ‘Best in Show’ and the ‘Best Ferrari’ trophy, as well as the ‘Art Center's Students' Choice’ Award. Subsequently, the TdF achieved the ‘Excellence in Class’ award at the Mar-a-Lago Concours d'Elegance held in conjunction with the 2017 Cavallino Classic. During the past four years, this exceptional car has been on display at a prominent automotive museum. As road use had been minimal during that time, it was determined that a proper mechanical inspection and service was in order. In August 2021, this Ferrari was consigned with Fantasy Junction, and sent to Ferrari expert Patrick Ottis who inspected the engine and operating features to ensure proper operation while tending to the fuel and electrical system as needed. The carbs were cleaned, new carburetor top gaskets installed, mechanical fuel pump rebuilt, a new electric SU fuel pump installed. and new seal rings installed on the fuel rail. The car tested for proper operation at idle and on throttle. The carburetors were synchronized and adjusted, and then road tested to ensure good operation, proper engine performance, and sound driving manners. TODAY THIS STUNNING TOUR DE FRANCE PRESENTS WITH AN IMPECCABLE RESTORATION, ABSOLUTELY CORRECT FEATURES AND COMPONENTS, AND SUPERB FINISHES THROUGHOUT. The paint is beautifully done with high gloss, over expertly refined coachwork, which has been exactingly performed to correct TdF configuration. All panel gaps are smooth and even with excellent closure and fit. The removable hood has a tiny chip along the forward edge, but no other blemishes are evident. The headlight covers are correctly formed with high polished finish and correct headlamps. All trim, emblems, windshield, plexiglass side and rear windows, and lenses are beautifully restored. The correct Borrani wire wheels are properly restored using original finishes showing no scratches or bead rash, including the spare wheel and correct tire. Michelin tires are correct for the period and remain ready for street or show use. All glass appears as new as do the window garnish molding and rubber gaskets. The interior is a journey back in time to performance racing with just enough GT flavor embodied in the leather finishes and properly stitched diamond panels. The correct leather straps and proper buckles lay out along the rear package shelf while the diamond pattern continues into the center console. The seats feature a unique and novel side bolstering construction, allowing more lateral support in cornering (a relatively new feature for cars of this period). The door panels are finely finished with leather, adorned with window cranks, door handles, and delicately sculpted door pulls. The correctly finished black crinkle dashboard houses an array of excellent instruments with highly contrasting dial faces and wonderfully restored nomenclature. An array of correct toggle switches and accessory features continue to delight the eye. The beautifully restored steering wheel stands proud, emblematic of the Ferrari brand, while paying homage to the heritage of great cars that contribute to this lineage of sports cars. Overall the interior presents excellent finishes with little to no signs of use, only as intended when driven to shows or special events. Under the hood the engine is simply stunning. Every aspect of the car has been correctly researched and refinished in order to present the car as accurately as possible. Attention to detail includes correct fasteners, proper fuel and brake lines, correct finishes to the cam covers, proper engine compartment finishes, and correctly finished raw castings. The carburetor air pan is also correctly formed allowing for better air flow and heat dissipation, per the original design. Correct Weber carburetors, ignition, and proper exhaust have all been sourced and finished per original specifications. This exceptional Tour de France is accompanied by a tool roll and owner's manual, and an impressive collection of trophies, including the 2016 Concorso Italiano 'Best of Show' trophy, the 2016 Concorso Italiano ‘Best Ferrari” trophy, the 2016 Art Center 'Student Choice' trophy, and the 2017 Mar-a-Lago 'Excellence in Class' trophy. Also included is the impressive 1959 'Coppa San Marino' trophy from 0899 GT's 1959 3rd place finish. This Ferrari is presented with copious documentation first with the Ferrari Classiche Red Book, accompanied by a thick binder of vintage photos, former registration information, and former owner's correspondence. - 1989-lamborghini-countach-25th-anniversary-edition-by-bertone
Crafted with a level of refinement that pushed the boundaries of what was possible without requiring rehomologation, the 25th Anniversary Edition was, in essence, a reimagining of the Countach. It returned cosmetically, ergonomically, and mechanically revitalised. To achieve this monumental transformation, Lamborghini entrusted the task to its in-house visionaries Horacio Pagani and Sandro Munari. Pagani’s work was evident in the revised exterior, which featured a redesigned front bumper, sleek raking rear wing scoops, refined lighting, a new rear bumper, and enhanced ground effects. Inside, the cabin was replete with substantial improvements, with the addition of standard climate control, power windows and seats, better bolstering, and a revised steering assembly, making the driving experience more comfortable and functional. The Countach was transformed into a far more agile and road-friendly machine. Cloaked in its correct shade of Nero over beige trim, this coveted European-specification 25th Anniversary Edition Countach is being offered for the first time in over two decades. Previously under the care of a custodian in France, the car was acquired by the consignor in June 2004 and returned to its native Italy. The notice and take down procedure is described here: https://www.speedholics.com/copyright Crafted with a level of refinement that pushed the boundaries of what was possible without requiring rehomologation, the 25th Anniversary Edition was, in essence, a reimagining of the Countach. Now accompanied by an Automotoclub Storico Italiano Certificato di Relivanza Storica e Collezionistica, it has spent the last 20-plus years enjoying a charmed life of sparing use, displaying just 12,433 kilometres at the time of cataloguing. - 1996 Aston Martin V8 Vantage V550
Aston Martin’s Twin-Supercharged Supercar, Finished in Rolls Royce Royal Blue Over Gray and Dark Blue Connolly Leather, Showing 20,600 km. Seller Asking: $225,000 In the early 1990s, Aston Martin was in the doldrums, the company’s first new coupe in nearly 20 years –the Virage– debuted in 1989 to mixed reviews and rather uninspired sales. With Ford’s acquisition of the company in 1992, they received a significant boost in capital and engineering ability, but an all-new car was still at least a few years off. In an effort to spice up the model line until the upcoming DB7 was ready, Aston Martin engineers set off on an ambitious project to turn the Virage into a supercar-beating grand touring coupe. Using the Vantage name which has always signified the performance variant in Aston Martin speak, in 1992 the 330 horsepower Virage became the 550 horsepower twin-supercharged Vantage V550. Claimed by Aston Martin to be capable of 186 mph, period road tests pinned the top end closer to 200 mph, putting it right near the top of the list of fastest cars in the world at the time. This 1995 Vantage V550 was delivered new on November 16th, 1995 through Hamburg-based Aston Martin supplier Car & Driver Automobiles and is the 111th example out of 233 produced. Each Vantage V550 was built to order for the original owner and this is the only one finished in “Rolls Royce Royal Blue” paired to gray and dark blue interior finishings. Factory order documents show that this car was initially destined for Paris and featured an entirely different specification- but a last-minute cancellation led Car & Driver Automobiles to land with an extra allocation. The car only stayed in Germany for 3 months prior to being exported to Japan in February of 1996 where it remained until coming to the United States in the fall of 2017. Although the body of the Vantage V550 was similar to that found on the Virage, in reality, the two shared nothing more than the roof and doors. The exaggerated, bulging fenders of the Vantage are the first thing that strikes you when you look at it but the changes in design go deeper than that. In front, the new hood design features a large “power bump” in the middle to fit the superchargers, and extractor vents near the windshield keep under-hood temperatures down. In contrast to the rather dated-looking slab tail lights of the Virage, Vantages were all fitted with quad-round taillights that harken back to classic Aston designs and fit the rear of the car much better. In typical Aston Martin fashion, the interior of the Vantage V550 is a splendid place to be, covered in glossy wood and fine high-quality leather. The one thing that these cars are derided for more than anything else is the Ford steering wheel which would be familiar to any Taurus or F150 owner in the era and was used to fit the Aston Martin with an airbag. But the fact of the matter is, when you’re behind the wheel and driving the car, that criticism quickly fades and you are taken by everything else the car brings to the table. In this Vantage, the Recaro seats are finished in beautiful medium-gray Connolly leather with dark blue piping, and the signature Recaro seat adjustment panels are covered in burl wood to match the rest of the interior. The grey leather also covers the center console, lower dash, rear seats, and door cards- but dark blue leather on the shift boot and dash-upper was specially ordered and provides great contrast. What makes a Vantage V550 so exceptionally unique is what lies under the hood. Aston Martin took the DOHC 5.3-liter V8 from the Virage and lowered the compression in order to fit two Eaton M90 roots-style superchargers. This modification made for 550 horsepower and 555 lb-ft of torque at a mere 4,000 rpm. Although technically only offered with a manual transmission, some select customers were able to option an automatic like what is found in this car. Given the massive amount of power and torque, the manual gearboxes were notoriously troublesome and often caused issues, making the automatic a more reliable choice and also allowing the driver to keep both hands on the wheel when they put their foot down. The brakes on the Vantage V550 come from AP Racing and were the largest units ever put on a production car at the time which was needed to slow down this nearly 4,400 lb vehicle. Records show that the car was treated to a thorough servicing by an east coast Aston Martin specialist in 2021 and is in very good mechanical condition throughout. Although the Vantage V550 didn’t win the top-speed wars of the early 1990s, it was far closer than an upright, heavy grand touring car had any right to be. Now, nearly 30 years after its introduction, the Vantage V550 represents a special part in Aston Martin's history as one of the final, truly out-there projects, completed prior to a full takeover by Ford just a few years later. These cars were never imported to the United States when new and it isn’t known how many have made their way over but if the number is in the double digits, it would be surprising. If you are looking for a collector car that is tremendously fast and even the most jaded enthusiast will be shocked to see, there really isn’t anything that will do the job better than this Aston Martin. 1996 Aston Martin V8 Vantage V550 ISSIMI, Inc If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1964 Ferrari 250 GT Lusso
The last and best of the Ferrari 250 road cars, the 250 Lusso is also widely agreed to be among the most beautiful classic Ferraris. While its predecessor, the 250 PF, was restrained and elegant, the Lusso was dynamic and stunning. It was appreciably lower and wider, and the Kamm tail treatment at the rear modernized the design considerably. Slotted between the larger 250 GTE 2+2 and the competition oriented SWB, the Lusso split the difference, providing an athletic GT car with arresting visual presence and a comparatively civilized cockpit, delivering a dynamic driving experience. Under the Pininfarina coachwork was Ferrari’s venerable and fully developed 3.0 liter outside plug Colombo V12 engine. This series would, of course, become recognized as the premier iteration of this decade marking the 250 GT. Disc brakes were fitted while aluminum deck lids and doors were used to reduce overall weight. The interior was trimmed to high standards and featured a unique centrally mounted tachometer and speedometer, which remains today an inspiring feature of the Lusso design. Production was relatively brief, from January of 1963 to August of 1964 with just 350 examples built. For collectors seeking the ultimate in a road-going 250 GT V12 driving experience, the Lusso exemplifies Ferrari’s legendary 250 SWB in road-going form. Today the Lusso has become a blue-chip Ferrari not only for its desirable features and rarity, but for the exquisite beauty and performance combined in a superlatively singular car. Lusso s/n 5817 is an exceptional example benefiting from known history since new, long-term ownership, and a high-quality restoration. History of ownership begins when the car was sold new by the Ferrari concessionaire in San Francisco, California, Charles Rezzaghi. The car’s first owner, a resident of Los Angeles, retained it until 2005. The second owner kept it for two years, also in Southern California, before selling it to the third owner (also in Los Angeles) in 2007. In 2011, the third owner embarked on a high-quality restoration which included a comprehensive engine rebuild by Allen Bishop, accompanied by mechanical work performed by Norbert Hofer’s Gran Touring Classics. Every aspect of the car was restored other than select areas of the interior, which remained in excellent condition due to long-term collector stewardship under single ownership, from 1964 to 2005. The fourth, current, and consigning owner, purchased this Lusso through Fantasy Junction in 2015. As was the case when purchased, this car continues to be accompanied by a complete set of books, tools, tool roll, and jack along with the original California ownership registration cards dating back to 1966 as well as records documenting the restoration. In preparation for consignment, September 2023, Ferrari expert Patrick Ottis serviced the car including replacing the brake master cylinder piston seals, repairing the driver’s side window for better operation, adjusting and lubricating the hood release cable, carburetor cleaning including discharging nozzles and cleaning idle jets, installing new carburetor gaskets as needed, and replacing various spark wiring ends and spark wire boots as needed. Today this beautiful Lusso offers a wonderful presentation reflecting the combined excellence of the professional restoration and continued care offered by the current owner. Restored with just the right amount of attention to detail without being overdone, the finishes have mellowed only slightly since the restoration was completed. The metallic blue paint presents with the correct metal flake, color, and lustrous gloss. The doors, hood, and trunk have excellent panel fit and closure. The exterior chrome, trim, and glass are excellent throughout including the lovely Marchal headlamps and fog lamps. The Borrani wire wheels and chrome plated knock offs are exceptionally nice with a set of correct earlier type Michelin XVS tires mounted, rather than the slightly later XWXs often fitted to Lussos. The interior is a handsome combination of reupholstered features and original finishes. The black leather seating presents in excellent condition and the curved bucket seats are correctly pleated in supple leather showing evidence of corner seam stretching as typically found on these dramatically contoured seats. The red carpet is correctly trimmed and adds a nice contrasting and colorful touch to the interior. The dashboard and instruments are very nice with excellent color and clarity. Overall, the interior is reflective of combined original and restored features capturing the preserved, long-term California ownership history in a casually elegant way. Under the hood, the correct matching numbers engine bears the single strike number 5817. The engine delivers a handsome, settled finish, not overdone, or heavily glossed from over-restoration. Among the many correct details, the black wrinkle finish cam covers, correct air cleaner housing, windscreen washer fluid bag, yellow fuel lines, and three-eared airbox keepers reflect the care and attention given to these accurate details. The chassis has been finished with the same level of care and attention afforded to the exterior. The correct transmission, rear end, authentic coatings and components complete the underside including factory accurate exhaust and mufflers, suspension components, and excellent engine and gearbox alloy castings all of which represent the total quality and cohesive nature of this restoration in a very complimentary way. The car runs and drives extremely well, with a tight, coherent feel that is often missing from restored cars. The engine is well tuned and responsive, and the gearbox is a pleasure to use. The chassis and suspension are tight and communicative while still offering a level of compliance suitable for long distance drives. This is an exceptional opportunity to acquire a Ferrari Lusso. Offering a confluence of documented ownership as a matching-numbers, black plate California car, with known ownership history from new and a sympathetic restoration by some of the best in the business, it would be hard to find a more fitting example for driving pleasure. Finished in its outstanding original color combination, this Lusso comes with a Ferrari pouch and books, factory tool roll with tools, factory jack, and original California registration cards dating back to 1966 when first registered. Considering the provenance and exceptional condition, the next fortunate owner will be very pleased to take the wheel and continue the history of this fine example. 1964 Ferrari 250 GT Lusso Fantasy Junction If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. The notice and take down procedure is described here: https://www.speedholics.com/copyright The last and best of the Ferrari 250 road cars, the 250 Lusso is also widely agreed to be among the most beautiful classic Ferraris. - 1996 Ferrari F50 2
This F50 was delivered new to Joel Riviere, President of Prestige Racing via Charles Pozzi S.A. of Paris on 24th May 1996. Optioned from new in Rosso Corsa Fer 300/12 over Nero VM8500 with Rosso fabric and Nero 152 carpets, the iconic colourway as most F50s were optioned. Understanding and appreciating the importance of regular maintenance on high performance cars, Riviere ensured that the F50 was diligently maintained by supplying dealer Charles Pozzi Ferrari. Despite using the car sparingly and averaging just 700 miles a year over the course of his 10 year ownership, the F50 returned to Charles Pozzi on five separate occasions. The car remained in France and was seen at several iterations of the Ferrari Paris relay and the Sport et Collection annual meetings. Later the car was sold to Germany where it would serviced by Ferrari Gohm of Boblingen. Upon arrival at DK Engineering in late 2023, we first inspected the car, before carrying out a major service and recommissioning works in our workshops. Some minor oil leaks were noted during the inspection and subsequently rectified, aided by our detaching of the engine from the monocoque. Whilst removed from the car, our engine builder went through the unit to ensure all was in order, during which time the cam covers were refinished in the crinkled black appearance in addition to the coolant and oil tank. Further ensuring this F50 is ready to be used and enjoyed, the car was fitted with a new fuel cell, clutch, and brake pads on all corners of the car. Taking full advantage of the engine being removed from the car, the opportunity for our detailer to go through the engine bay was given, unimpeded by mechanical obstruction. Reassembled, this wonderful Ferrari F50 has since been photographed and today presents alongside its history folio, Ferrari red book Classiche Certification and flightcase. With just 12,800 kilometres from new and with a clean bill of health from our workshops, this F50 awaits its next custodian, available to view at our showrooms outside London by appointment. 1996 Ferrari F50 D.K.
