By the mid-1960s it seemed Ferrari could do no wrong, winning on all fronts from sports car racing to Grands Prix and producing the most beautiful cars in the world. Ferrari's dual-purpose cars seemed unstoppable combining race-winning performance with film star good looks. As the legendary 250 GT LWB "Tour de France" gave way to the marvellous 250 GT SWB Berlinetta - and lead ultimately to the awe-inspiring 250 GTO in 1962. Introduced at the 1964 Paris Auto Show, the new 275 GTB gave Ferrari a chance to incorporate all the best characteristics of this fabled bloodline. Many consider the resulting car to be the finest production Ferrari ever built, combining the thoroughbred mechanical pedigree of its road racing forebears with sufficient creature comforts to make the 275 GTB a superlative grand touring automobile. Under the skin, the 275 GTB incorporated the best Ferrari chassis design, starting with the oval section tube backbone chassis. Independent suspension was fitted all around for the first time on a road-going Ferrari, and a 5-speed gearbox was also included in the specification. The transmission was mounted at the rear of the car for improved weight distribution in a transaxle. Now enlarged to 3.3 litres, the 60-degree V12 engine remained the familiar Colombo type, in standard form producing 280bhp at 7,600rpm. A higher, claimed 300bhp, state of tune was available by employing six Weber carburettors instead of the standard three. In addition, customers purchasing a 275 GTB for road use could also specify aluminium coachwork. This coachwork was all new too, a stunning Pininfarina design that evoked the graceful lines of the legendary 250 GTO. A long bonnet combined with a fastback rear body created a striking profile, while vents in the front wings gave the car a muscular edge. Vents in the sail panels added to the effect and paid tribute to the 250 GT "Tour de France" Berlinetta’s. A smoothly integrated rear spoiler helped give the car a strong visual identity. Although the 275 GTB was a car of many firsts, it was also the last car that could be considered a true coach-built road/race Berlinetta in the great Ferrari tradition. Although most lived their lives on the streets, many led a dual life, winning on road courses and hill climbs on the weekend, while providing stylish and exciting transportation during the week. Only approximately 60 275 GTB’s were bodied entirely out of alloy during the entire four year production run of 275’s. Of these, approximately 25 were also delivered new with the more powerful 6 carburettor engine option. From those, it is understood that just 6 examples were completed in RHD. Peter Mitchell was a wealthy man who knew his Ferraris. The Australian had already owned a short nose 275 GTB, and so when he ordered this car, he set out to make what was already a very special car, unique. As per the original build specification, this 275 GTB was optioned from new with an aluminium body, headrests, competition cloth seat inserts, and as a special order, a hand-painted Scuderia Ferrari shield on the rear of the kamm-tail. The car was ordered through Maranello Concessionaires in Egham, as all RHD examples at the time were. When the 275 was ready for collection, Mitchell was just 18 years old. He journeyed to the factory and collected the car personally, taking the car to Rome where he resided. In early 1966, the car was shipped to Australia continuing in his care and much more usable in RHD. The 275 would remain there until 2013. Whilst it passed through several keepers, the car itself had never been on the open market, changing hands privately over the years from one owner to the other. By the early 1990s, the 275 had been refinished in Rosso. The Ferrari Owners Club records note the car passing through the hands of Ian Cotter, Geoff Thornton and then David Rodd, each highly respected Ferrari collectors in their own right. In 2013, the car benefitted from a very extensive overhaul including an engine and gearbox rebuild by one of the leading Ferrari workshops in Australia. Once back in the UK, having been purchased by the current custodian, the decision was made to return the car to its original colour of Argento. Initiating an extensive cosmetic restoration with notable marque specialists in the UK, the works totalled £175,000. The body, when stripped, was found to have remained in excellent and original condition, thanks to the Australian climate. This restoration culminated in the car being invited to and presented at Pebble Beach in 2014. Subsequently, this example was sold to its next owner, who utilised GTO Engineering's highly respected workshops to carry out routine maintenance on the 275. In 2018, this wonderful 275 changed hands once more, purchased back by its previous custodian, who originally presented the car at Pebble Beach a decade prior. Today this alloy-bodied 275 presents as you would expect for a former Pebble Beach entrant. Accompanied by its tool roll, original handbook and Ferrari red book Classiche certification, this wonderful 275 GTB/6C 'Alloy' is available to view at our showrooms outside London immediately. 1965 Ferrari 275 GTB/6C 'Alloy' D.K. • 1984-ferrari-512-bbi-1

The Berlinetta Boxer debuted at the 1971 Turin Motor Show and charted an entirely new course for Ferrari design that still influences the company’s products today. The company’s first-ever mid-engine 12-cylinder road car introduced radically different proportions and angular styling by Pininfarina’s Leonardo Fioravanti. Its final incarnation, the 1981 Ferrari 512 BBi, featured Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection for cleaner emissions and a better balance of performance and drivability. Production ran from 1981 to 1984 with a total of 1,007 examples. Though never officially sold in the United States, some Berlinetta Boxers were imported and federalized via the gray market. The importer for this 1984 Ferrari 512 BBi is listed as Ferrari North America Inc. in the online registry of Ferrari Beverly Hills, which also notes factory exterior colors of Nero over Beige leather. The car is believed to have remained in California until the early nineties. Its first CARFAX entry is a September 1991 emissions inspection in San Francisco. Ferrari of Los Gatos would offer it for sale in 1992, simply described as black with tan interior. Service invoices on file from December 2006 place the car in Houston, Texas, where Vintage Motor Cars performed a timing belt service and refurbished parts of the air conditioning system, brakes, valvetrain, fuel system, exhaust, and electrical wiring. Mileage is listed as 50,139 miles on the invoice. The 512 BBi next passed to an owner in Alabama, according to 2007 service invoices on file. He would retain the car for about six years and have Ferrari of Atlanta correct issues with the electrical and fueling systems in 2010 and perform another timing belt service in 2012. A Ferrari of Atlanta invoice from August 2012 logged mileage of 52,098 miles. An owner in New York acquired the Ferrari in 2013 and would have the suspension system and steering rack overhauled the following year. In 2016, Wehrmann Engineering of Hauppauge, New York, removed the engine and replaced the timing belts, tensioner bearings, and gaskets, rebuilt the distributor, cleaned the fuel injectors, zinc-plated various hardware, and refurbished the differential, installing an aftermarket billet carrier. In 2017, the owner installed a set of 17-inch aftermarket wheels patterned after the 512 BBi’s factory five-spoke 16-inch Campangolo wheels and shod with Continental ExtremeContact tires. An aftermarket exhaust system is said to have been installed in 2019. The removed exhaust and factory-style metric wheels mounted with correct Michellin TRX tires are included in the sale, along with a tool kit, a factory-style Momo steering wheel date-coded June 1984, and a Ferrari-branded Pioneer graphic equalizer. After enjoying the 512 BBi for nearly 10 years, the New York owner would part with it in June 2022, at which time the consignor acquired it with 66,037 miles showing on the odometer. Scarcely driven under current ownership, the odometer read 66,588 miles at cataloguing time. The consignor’s mechanic noted that there is an intermittent issue with the key switch start position, so an auxiliary starter button has been added to occasionally aid in starting. Presented today in its factory-correct color scheme and with distinctive hallmarks for the model—including its gated shifter, Daytona-style seats, and a Ferrari-branded Pioneer stereo cassette player—this 512 BBi would be an excellent candidate to drive and enjoy as is or return to factory specifications by reinstalling the included original-style wheels, exhaust, steering wheel, and graphic equalizer. 1984 Ferrari 512 BBi RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. The Lancia Flaminia 2.8 3C Cabriolet is one of those rare automobiles that perfectly captures why Italian design stood at the pinnacle of the 1960s. Elegant, understated and mechanically sophisticated, it represents the very essence of Lancia’s golden era. Completed in March 1967, this example belongs to the highly coveted 826.134 series, the final and most evolved generation of Touring’s Flaminia Cabriolet. With only 180 2.8-litre triple-carburetor examples produced, these Superleggera-bodied cars have rightly become some of the most desirable Flaminia derivatives. Finished in Gun Grey over red leather, it presents a striking yet tasteful contrast befitting a gentleman’s open GT. The fully restored cabin, with its deep red seats, matching door cards and elegant wood-rimmed steering wheel, highlights the craftsmanship that defined Lancia at the time. Power comes from the smooth 2.8-litre V6, paired with a manual gearbox — delivering the refined and elastic performance for which Lancia is celebrated. Showing 84,773 km and carrying chassis 8261341099, this Cabriolet remains an authentic late-production example. The car has benefited from a complete restoration, carried out with respect for originality. Its presentation today is clean and coherent, and an extensive photo album documents the scope and quality of the work performed. Imported into Belgium in 1992, it has since remained in the hands of enthusiasts who understood its significance. As production of both the Flaminia and Carrozzeria Touring drew to a close, cars like this marked the final chapter of an era when craftsmanship, engineering and design were inseparable. Refined, beautifully made and increasingly rare, this Flaminia 2.8 3C Cabriolet is a car for those who value subtlety over spectacle — and who recognise the quiet brilliance of Lancia at its peak. 1967 Lancia Flaminia 2.8L 3C AD Sportscars If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. General History Rarely in automobile design does beauty, engineering, and race history converge in an object so delightful, so perfect in every respect, it transcends generations of admirers. The Jaguar E-Type is such a car. Unveiled at the 1961 Geneva Motor Show, the brilliant and stunning design offered unrivaled performance, beauty, and a surprisingly affordable price. The E-Type has since grown to iconic status where it continues to command attention from collectors and enthusiasts worldwide. But it isn’t beauty alone that continues to win so many hearts. Jaguar engineering offered independent front and rear suspension, disc brakes all around (inboard at the rear to reduce unsprung weight), and their legendary twin-cam inline-6 engine. Sales were brisk as the series evolved over time, with continued interest for more than a decade. Today the very best early Series 1 examples command premium values particularly for cars that retain their factory original drivetrain, are finished in original factory colors, and have been restored to the highest possible level. History of this Example This Jaguar roadster restoration was commissioned by the current owner who engaged Hall Fabrication & Racing, Benicia, CA to perform a cost-no-object restoration to the highest standards. The restoration began in 2012 spanning 3 years with completion in 2015. In preparation for the restoration new parts were sourced for the project including a new windshield, new exterior trim parts, tail light lenses, and other details. While the car was completely disassembled and prepared for body and paint, the engine and transmission were removed and the front frame disassembled. Parts needing replating were sent out to vendors while other chrome parts were purchased as needed. For body work, the left lower valance was straightened, weld repairs performed under the hood nose, undercoating was removed, inside nose panels removed, and all metal parts set up for acid cleaning including the disassembled hood and inner parts. Body panels were finished with Polane and two coats of Imron while other selected parts were selectively shot with two coats of DP90LF, DX54 road guard applied to appropriate areas, and hardware finished with DX579 and DX520 SG. The engine was disassembled, cleaned, and all parts prepped for machining and final finishing including machining and polishing the matching numbers head in preparation for the engine rebuild. The original twin-cam head is mounted to a 4.2L engine block (7R5081-9) selected for improved durability and performance. While the engine and transmission were out, the interior was also removed, and both left and right front floor panels were replaced as well as the left side of the rear floor panel. A new trunk floor panel was also installed including fresh seal sealer. Remaining floor areas were welded where necessary and treated for rust including hardware for the seat frames which were also rebuilt and refinished. The remaining floor areas were addressed including foot boxes and side panels with rust inhibitor installed along with new sound insulation. As the project progressed, additional new items were purchased including a new wiring harness, new dashboard switches, interior trim, hardware, and other detailed features. As the engine was in the rebuild process, the carburetors were rebuilt, new porcelain manifolds were purchased, new stainless-steel exhaust with chrome finishers purchased, and new hardware for the engine reassembly purchased and finished where specialty coatings were deemed necessary. As all suspension had been removed during the body and paint process, each suspension part was refinished and new suspension bushings installed along with new fuel and brake lines to match the rebuilt brake calipers and discs as well as new clutch and brake master cylinders. The final assembly of the new interior, convertible top, all gauges, and the rebuilt engine and transmission were completed and installed concluding with road testing and refinement, tune up and new fluids in Feb. 2015, with adjustments performed as needed. Services continued with Burlingame Motors, Burlingame, CA in 2015 and 2018 for brake fluid flush and hose replacement, while general fluid services were performed as part of private collection maintenance while under current ownership. Current Condition Today, this Jaguar roadster presents in beautiful black and tan with excellent cosmetics throughout. The black finish offers deep luster and gloss throughout all surfaces and the inner strike surfaces, door jambs, and underside panels have been finished to a high level of quality. The chrome features are brilliant and fresh featuring excellent fit to the body lines using correctly trimmed gaskets. The passenger side of the hood at the cowl sits slightly proud of the cowl line though this may be due to stiff rubber in this area. The beautifully finished hood and stainless-steel fender part line trim, script, lighting, emblems, and details are all finished with jewel-like precision. Contrasting the black finish, a set of chrome wire wheels are shod with BF Goodrich Silvertown white wall tires and finished with correct dual ear knockoffs. The interior is in excellent condition having been completely reupholstered with correct leather and trim, excellent quality carpeting, and a pristine dashboard, all of which include correct alloy dash panels, correct hardware, correct seat foam and piping, and properly trimmed carpeting precisely fit to show standards. Finishes throughout the interior are once again spectacular including a pair of matched tan seatbelts with vintage buckles. Instruments are crystal clear with contrasting dials and precise needles, the dashboard materials are both accurate and exceptionally fine in fit and finish, and the seat contours are correct in piping, foam liner, and material fit. The interior has an exceptionally fine appearance which is further fortified by the correctly lined black canvas convertible top. Restoration excellence continues in the beautifully finished engine compartment. All details and components have been prepared as originally intended, once again reflective of the very best in quality and authenticity. The original engine head bears the matching stamped numbers consistent with the chassis plate and was mounted to a more robust 4.2 L block which was restored and rebuilt to correct specifications during restoration. Every aspect of the restoration including the porcelain exhaust headers, gold finished cam valley, correct hammer-tone finish airbox, and polished triple carburetors are exceptional in every respect. Linkages, radiator, hoses, even the washer bottle are all reflective of excellence. The trunk compartment is also properly finished in matching interior colors. As one might expect, the undercarriage is in excellent condition. All finishes and components viewed in the undercarriage are similarly reflective of excellence both in the restoration and mechanical attention given to this fine car. The stainless-steel exhaust and angled chrome finishers are in excellent condition, the suspension components, fasteners and hardware are accurate, and the various hard and soft lines are all in excellent condition. In addition to the beautiful cosmetics, this E-Type roadster runs and drives extremely well, starting easily and idling smoothly at rest. Tested and refined after the restoration was completed, the performance capabilities are in keeping with the high visual standards. The engine has great oil pressure, makes excellent power and torque, and pulls strong in all gears. The car tracks well and rides smoothly and freeway speeds are smooth with no cowl shudder and progressive acceleration delivering smiles with every accrued mile resting on the wood rimmed steering wheel and shifting the 4-speed gearbox. Jaguar E-Type roadsters continue to be highly prized for their beauty and performance. Series 1 cars are further considered among the most desirable as originally conceived by Jaguar Motors more than 60 years ago. Combining dramatic colors, a cost-no-object restoration, and conscientious long-term collector ownership, this E-Type is sure to capture your admiration, delight, and dreams of sportscar motoring. Included with the car This Jaguar is accompanied by extensive invoices for parts and various services performed during the years of restoration, a set of tools and tool roll, a wire wheel removal tool in case, jack and jack bag, a set of rubber floor mats, a spare shift knob, owner’s manual and case, service manual, contemporary service workshop, restoration, and reference books, and a fold out Jaguar maintenance chart. 1962 Jaguar XKE Roadster Fantasy Junction If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 1

“The Most Iconic Production Porsche Ever Built” 2.7Litre – 213 HP, 188 LB/FT TORQUE First street-legal Porsche to break 150mph Won multiple international championships Vehicle options: Touring Version Light Yellow Sport Seats Left and Right Headrests Sports Exhaust System Heated and tinted rear window Three-point harness Upon arrival at Canepa, every collector car for sale is put through an extensive and diligent process called the “Canepa Difference.” This includes a major and comprehensive mechanical inspection where all systems are checked, serviced, and restored as needed. They also receive award-winning Concours-level detailing, including a thorough cleaning of each and every surface. The 911 had solidified itself as Porsche’s successful and iconic flagship sports car by the early 1970s. Originally introduced in 1964, the enthusiasts’ base had established this was the go-to drivers car for its performance and handling. Porsche wasn’t satisfied though, and due to the company’s successes in the motorsport world with their previous 911 iterations in various categories, they wanted to elevate its underdog to a whole different level, a higher performance spec to maintain that competitiveness while still, retaining racing requirements. Nobody, not even the enthusiasts, anticipated how Porsche was going to take them by surprise. The development team, led by Ernst Fuhrmann, had one objective in mind, and that was to turn the 911 into one of a kind, well balanced speed demon. The original 911 Carrera was capable of putting down 193 horsepower but Porsche was unsatisfied, they knew their clientele base wanted more and wanted to do better so they managed to break into the 200hp club, landing at 213hp. Knowing what Porsche stood for, however, they couldn’t just keep squeezing power out without improving handling dynamics. Hermann Burst, an aerodynamicist, was the genius behind adding a ducktail rear spoiler to make the car more stable at higher speeds by producing rear-end downforce and reducing drag. For the first time ever, different sized tires were fitted for the front and rear which would only enhance the stability. As a result, it was reported this was the first Porsche to throw 0.9 lateral G Forces while breaking a top speed record of 150mph and would be known as the RS touring spec. The improvements and advancements Porsche made to the 911 Carrera would have needed to fulfill FIA’s Group 4 racing category that was catered to production sports cars, which meant producing a certain amount of road-legal versions of this new and improved 911 to be qualified for official racing events. With that in mind, Porsche would take their enthusiasts by storm through releasing this limited production RS spec of the Carrera S to the world at the Paris Motor Show in October of 1972 and had sold 500 units by November, just a month later. The Carrera RS immediately showcased its newly developed talents by winning numerous international competitions which include the following and many more: GT European Championship, Polish GT Championship, Polish Rallye Championship, Swedish GT Championship, and the German Rallye Championship. The RS immediately became Porsche’s new flagship, road legal racecar representing the brand’s engineering, racing pedigree, and continued to embrace Porsche’s design innovation, driver feel, and performance, and kept the brand’s reputation within the realm of exceptional high-performance sports cars. This particular 911 RS was first sold new through Mahag Porsche dealership in Munich, in 1973. It had resided in Germany through various owners and during those ownerships, participated in many road rallies. It took part in the Tour of España in 2001 driven by owner Dr. Martin Jorgens, Tour Auto in 2005, and Spa Francorchamps in 2008. It was sold to Koch Klassik in Germany in 2011 and was once again sold in 2012 to Jeffrey Sprecher. 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS Canepa If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1992-honda-acura-nsx-1

You might be wondering why we included two shots in the photo series of our NSX, one showing our NSX next to arguably the most important supercar of all time – the McLaren F1 – and the next, the Gordon Murray T.50. Both from a virtually identical perspective to our NSX. Both the McLaren F1 and the Gordon Murray T50 were designed by a designer who, even during his lifetime, was mentioned in the same sentence as designers like Colin Chapman, Ferdinand Porsche, Ettore Bugatti, and a few other brilliant minds in this field. He is considered one of the most important automobile designers/engineers of all time. And now guess which car none other than Gordon Murray was significantly inspired and guided by when, after being tasked with designing the McLaren F1, he set out to create a supercar that would align with his aspirations and vision – to emulate the best of the best and, if possible, to do it as well as possible, or even better. It shouldn't be anything less. You already guessed it? Exactly. It was the Honda NSX. After comparative driving with virtually all supercars of the era, he determined that this Honda NSX was the benchmark against which he should measure himself. After extensive driving at Honda's Tochigi proving ground in one of the NSX prototypes, where he was invited by one of the greatest and most gifted racing drivers – Ayrton Senna – the Honda NSX became the benchmark to be achieved. Due to his Formula 1 career at McLaren – which at the time was powered by Honda engines – Senna had taken on the task of tuning the Honda NSX chassis, playing a key role in practical test driving. Gordon Murray was immediately impressed by the outstanding results of this chassis development, and from that moment on, the NSX's qualities became the benchmark for the ongoing development of his McLaren F1. The Honda NSX became the benchmark to be achieved. According to his own reflection in an interview, Murray drove many laps of the Tochigi Research Center together with Ron Dennis (President of McLaren Cars) and Mansour Ojjeh (TAG McLaren Group Representative), which he describes as follows: "I remember being moved and thinking, 'It's remarkable how our vision is coming through in this car!'" Of course, the engine only has six cylinders. However, the NSX's very stiff chassis is excellent and could easily handle more power. Although I initially thought it would have been better to use a larger engine before driving it, the moment I drove the "small" one, and all the benchmark cars – Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini – that I used as references in developing my car (the McLaren F1) also disappeared from my mind. Of course, the car we were going to develop had to be faster than the NSX, but the ride quality and handling of the NSX would become our new design goal." You can find the full interview here, which is well worth reading: A Car Dear to My Heart Perhaps we should mention at this point, just in case, that the previous "benchmark cars" that Gordon Murray mentioned in the interview were not just any Ferraris, Porsches, etc., but specifically the Porsche 959, the Bugatti EB110, the Ferrari F40, the Jaguar XJ220, and other models of similar caliber. We'd like to share one more passage from the long interview worth reading: The air conditioning, for example, is almost undetectable in use and so effective that I set the temperature and pressed the "Auto" button once when I first took delivery of my NSX – and then never touched it again. The car's drive-by-wire throttle – another first – was so linear and natural in its operation that I stole the idea for the McLaren F1 wholesale. The development costs of the NSX must have been enormous. Everything on it is unique. The chassis, powertrain, and even the air conditioning system are unparalleled. That aluminum body was very expensive. The numerous hurdles the NSX overcame to reach production in areas such as spot welding, corrosion, and repairability make it a monumental work in automotive history. The philosophy of creating a car for people is evident throughout. If it were me, I probably wouldn't be obsessed with the aluminum and would have settled for a steel structure with aluminum panels to try to achieve a similar weight reduction. But what I really want to emphasize is the chassis/suspension. It's a groundbreaking use of aluminum." Or we recall an issue of the magazine "sportauto" from the early 1990s, in which Mr. Horst von Sauma, the magazine's chief tester, included the Nurburgring's Nordschleife as a regular feature of his super tests, where each test car had to prove itself. In a comparison test on the Nordschleife, the recently introduced Honda NSX was pitted against the Ferrari 348 and the Porsche 964 Carrera 2 to determine the individual test vehicles' qualities. The Honda NSX beat the two aforementioned test participants by many seconds per lap, which was a major shock in this category and vehicle class. But that was only the beginning, because at the time of the NSX's market launch, all journalists and testers without exception gave the Honda NSX outstanding marks. The surprise was a success, because Honda, until then exclusively focused on small and mid-size cars, launched the NSX; A super sports car that challenged established dream cars like the Ferrari 348 TB and the Porsche 911 Carrera 2 – only to beat these two models in independent comparison tests. That's all for now, dear reader. Regarding the Honda Acura NSX you just received, we'll let the photos speak for themselves and will soon provide you with all the further information that makes this particular example so appealing. You can rest assured that this is a pure sports car. Despite its air conditioning, sound system, power windows, and "small" 3.0 V6 engine. We completely agree with Gordon Murray, whose personal car was a Honda NSX for over six or seven years and 75,000 km. And that was long after the McLaren F1 had been launched and sold...at least, he said in this recent interview during the launch of his new T.50 super sports car that he hadn't seen another car since the early 1990s that was just as suitable for the daily commute to the office in central London as it was for a spontaneous short trip to the South of France, sometimes with a quick stop at the Nürburgring.... 1992 Honda Acura NSX DLS Automobile If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. Interesting Ferrari collection with successive mid-engined V8 Spiders from 1979 until 2006, beautifully finished in Grigio and Argento. For the first time in the history of VSOC, we offer an entire collection on behalf of one owner. This inspired a series of iconic mid-engined road cars. A company famous for its beautiful and successful front-engined sports cars, soon became synonymous with its equally eye-catching and successful mid-engined sports cars. Ferrari’s first road-going mid-engined production sports car was the Dino 206 GT. Even more significant was the 308 GTB launched in 1975. It began an uninterrupted bloodline of V8-powered mid-engined sports cars that continues today. • 1970 Maserati Indy 4200

Step back in time and experience Italian elegance with this nice example of a 1970 Maserati Indy 4200 adorned in the classic Celeste Chiaro blue with a tasteful tan interior. Designed by the famed Carrozzeria Vignale, the Indy boasts a sleek and aerodynamic body, reflecting Maserati’s commitment to both performance and style. Under the hood, the 4.2-liter V8 engine, known for its distinct power delivery and sonorous exhaust note, immediately attracts attention. Equipped with a manual gearbox, the Indy offers an engaging driving experience, evoking the spirit of grand touring cars of its time. Standard equipment includes a two-way adjustable steering column, an anti-theft steering lock, leather upholstery, tinted electric windows, reclining seats, fog lamps, a heated rear windscreen, headrests and a dashboard-mounted clock in front of the passenger. Originally delivered in Varese (Italy), the chassis number AM116 524 moved to the United States California more than 20 years ago. The Indy participated to the Monterey Car Parade in 2000 and stayed until 2018 in the hands of a famous American physicist who has been a pioneer in the use of lasers in art conservation. It was then acquired by Beverly Hills Car in Los Angeles, who sold the vehicle again to the current owner. Today the Maserati GT 2+2 is back on the European continent and registered as an Oldtimer in Belgium, ready to be enjoyed by another passionate. As attested by the Maserati Classic certificate, it is in original state, complemented by full matching numbers. This Indy has been regularly maintained. The following works were done in 2022 for a total amount of 4.800 EUR: replacement of the carburettors, new fuel supply hose and new windshield wipers. Although one of the lesser-known Maseratis to the general public, the Indy is nonetheless a formidable car. For the record, it had a few reputable owners such as Roy Disney or Paul Breitner. So … Are you tempted by this GT 2+2 with its typically Italian class? Do not hesitate to come and see it in our Zaventem premises located 5 min away from the Brussels airport. 1970 Maserati Indy 4200 AD Sportscars If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer.
