It marks the end of an era: the final generation powered by an air-cooled engine. And that’s exactly what makes it so beloved among enthusiasts and purists. The 993 combines timeless design with modern engineering and introduced a new multilink rear suspension that took handling to the next level. No digital distractions—just pure driving experience. Mechanical, honest, and full of character—for many, the ultimate 911. And ours? Our 993 was originally delivered in Germany and has always been carefully maintained. The mileage of 166.339 km is fully documented, and the car still wears its original paint. This is no restoration project, but a clean, well-preserved example ready for many more miles of driving pleasure. What makes this car truly special is its unique specification. The exterior in Silver Metallic exudes understated elegance, while the interior is far from standard: fully finished in red leather, featuring a rare wooden dashboard and door panels—a combination from the Porsche Exclusive programme that is rarely seen. The car is also equipped with nearly every option available at the time, including an exclusive sound system and a tilt/slide sunroof. Under the rear decklid lies the proven 3.6-litre flat-six engine, producing 272 hp. Paired with the Tiptronic automatic transmission, it offers a smooth, comfortable drive—even on long journeys—without sacrificing character. By now, the 993 has become a true icon. Its design is timeless, the build quality impressive, and the driving experience remains as pure as it gets. This example, with its distinctive specification and well-preserved condition, is not only a joy to drive but also a serious candidate for anyone looking for a future-proof classic. Original 993s in this condition and configuration are becoming increasingly rare. 1994 Porsche 993 Carrera 2 Cool Classic Club If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. Desirable Super 90 Roadster with coachwork by Drauz 1 of Just 1529 Examples Produced Luxuriously Appointed and Presented Delivered via Hoffman Motors, New York Restored in the UK by Marque Specialists Retains Potent Original Matching-Numbers 'Super 90' Engine Verified by Porsche Kardex Correct Silver Metallic Paint with Elegant Brown Leather Upholstery, Complementing Wool Carpeting and Mohair Top Complete with Driver's Manual in Folio, Tool Kit, Spare Tire with Leather Strap, and Jack As buyers' taste changed, the 356 B T5 Roadster was the direct replacement of the Porsche 356 A Convertible D, which itself replaced the iconic Porsche 356 Speedster, and was the second convertible variant of the Porsche 356 B T5. Distinguished by clean rakish-looks, these Roadsters have a very sporting aesthetic feel to match - still in keeping with the Speedster ethos. The Roadster body shell features altered shapes to the cowl, rear quarters and beltline from that of the contemporary Cabriolet. A smaller windscreen, simplified dash, and lack of rear seats make for a much more driver focused experience. 88423 was completed at the Porsche factory in Super 90 tune and originally slotted for North American delivery. Eventually, the 356 was imported to the United Kingdom, where it would receive a complete 'nut-and-bolt' restoration by marque specialists, while it's said to retain the majority of its original body and original matching-numbers Super 90 engine. Now Stateside for the past few years, this charming 356B Super 90 Roadster presents and performs beautifully. The car has been immensely well received at Houston Coffee and Cars Porsche Day, as well as sprints around the area. An excellent opportunity to enjoy the 356 experience in its purest form. 1960 Porsche 356 B Driver Source Fine Motorcars If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. The Ferrari ‘Daytona’ The Ferrari 365 GTB/4’s dizzying Pininfarina-engineered beauty has been causing knees to weaken and eyes to well for decades. That sleek fastback body epitomises the romance and appeal of the Italian Gran Turismo. The ‘Daytona’ is the kind of classic in which you can turn up anywhere on the planet, be it Monaco or Mumbai, and you’ll draw gawping onlookers by the dozen. It starred in Miami Vice and even Elton John owned one. And in the 1970s that was a big deal. The absolute must-have luxury Grand Tourer in the 1960s and ’70s, the 4.4-litre Colombo V12-powered ‘Daytona’ is no shrinking violet when it comes to hiking up its skirt and getting a move on. Just ask the legendary American racing drivers Brock Yates and Dan Gurney, who, in 1971, famously drove a ‘Daytona’ 2,876 miles from New York City to Redondo Beach in California in a record time of 35 hours and 54 minutes. That’s an average speed of 80.8mph! Chassis number 16657 Of the 1,284 365 GTB/4 ‘Daytonas’ built by Ferrari, only 158 right-hand-drive examples were designated to the UK market. As accompanying factory correspondence documents, chassis number 16657 was delivered new to Maranello Concessionaires in June of 1973. It was originally finished in the stunning shade of Rosso Rubino over a Beige leather interior. The car was fitted from new with the optional air-conditioning system and tan carpets. The years and decades that followed for this ‘Daytona’ are comprehensively chronicled by the accompanying documentation. Chassis number 16657 has remained in England its entire life, passing through the hands of several collectors, a number of whom are prominent figures in British Ferrari circles. The car has always been diligently maintained by noted specialists, as evidenced by the frankly extraordinary history file that accompanies it. Most obviously, it documents when this 365 GTB/4 was refinished in the period Ferrari shade of Blu Metallizzato. Chassis number 16657 was acquired by its current owner in 2020, joining a fast-growing collection of significant historic and modern Ferraris including a 250 GT Lusso Berlinetta and a LaFerrari. Fewer than 200 miles have since been added to the Ferrari overall mileage, which currently reads 54,858 miles – a figure that, as per the accompanying invoices and MOT certificates, is correct. Most recently, this ‘Daytona’ has undergone a comprehensive professional detail and full paint correction. Accordingly, it presents beautifully – that Blu Metallizzato paint boasting a deep and alluring shine. Crucially, chassis number 16657 has been issued with its Ferrari Classiche certification binder, which confirms the original ‘matching’ chassis, engine, transaxle and body. And satisfyingly, the car retains both its factory leather documents pouch, including the user manuals and spare-parts catalogue, spare wheel and complete tool roll. If it’s good to ogle, this Ferrari is even better to drive. We’d go as far as to say it’s among the best-driving ‘Daytonas’ we’ve ever encountered. If ever a car gave us that reassuringly familiar ‘old-pair-of-trousers’ feeling, it was this ‘Daytona’. It’s hard to describe, but since it’s never been fully restored, the car feels just ‘right’ from behind the wheel. Nothing feels tight or snaggy – the gearshift, especially, inspires so much confidence and the buttery-smooth 12-cylinder engine has zero fluff at lower revs. It’s true some ‘Daytonas’ can feel heavy and cumbersome. But this one doesn’t. It’s a credit to the relatively short list of gentlemen who’ve cherished it for the last 53 years. Bravo. 1973 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 ‘Daytona’ UK RHD Girardo & Co. This 1977 Lotus Esprit S1 is one of 718 examples produced between 1976 and 1978 and is said to have undergone a mechanical and interior refurbishment that was started before the current owner’s 2017 purchase and completed the following year. Finished in red over beige leather upholstery, the car is powered by a mid-mounted 1,973cc inline-four mated to a five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes pop-up headlights, four-wheel disc brakes, independent suspension, single-piece bucket seats, power windows, and a heater. The vehicle was listed on BaT in February 2018, and work in 2021 consisted of rebuilding the carburetors, changing the oil, aligning the doors, and replacing the starter, temperature sender, front springs, and side mirrors. This Esprit S1 is offered again at no reserve on dealer consignment with a Lotus Certificate of Vehicle Provenance, service records, and a clean California title. The wedge-shaped fiberglass body was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro and is mounted to a steel backbone chassis. 'Austin sounds a little bit like Aston Martin, which is the type of car James Bond would drive' - Mike Myers The origins of the Aston Martin V8 series date back to 1969, when Aston Martin introduced the V8 as the successor to the DBS. - 1973 Alfa Romeo Spider
We are delighted to offer for sale an original LHD Series 2 Alfa Romeo Spider which has benefited from a recent full rotisserie restoration with little use since its completion. The records we have confirm it is a matching numbers car and was produced in May 1973 and delivered to Englewood Cliffs in the USA. The body colour was Blue AR 323 with Amaranth Tex interior which it wears today. The Alfa Romeo 105/115 Series Spiders were produced in 4 Series and originally penned by Pininfarina himself. It is arguably one of the most appealing Alfa Romeo designs to date and remained in production between 1966 and 1994. Documents that come with the car confirm its history in California before it came to Australia in 1991 when it was imported to Katherine N.T by L.D Wilcox. It remained in that ownership until the current owner purchased it in 2015. Shortly after that time, the current owner began a comprehensive restoration which took six years to complete. He has cherished the car but due to health reasons was unable to drive it much after completion. It now needs to find a new home and an owner who will enjoy it. As part of the restoration, the shell of the car was stripped to bare metal, and any compromised metal replaced. It was then painted in its original blue colour which was well applied and presents extremely well since it was finished some 3 years ago. The interior is a lovely place to be. The beautifully restored wooden steering wheel (it’s the best we’ve seen) greets the eye and the classic dash is very appealing. The instruments are perfect, and the dash is without fault. The seats have been recovered over new bases and seat back foam and the door cards replaced as per original and are like new. A full carpet set finishes the interior off well and adds a touch of luxury. The new, correct type of blue mohair hood is fitted and looks fresh. The car wears its correct alloy wheels which have been refurbished. Start the engine and you immediately know you are in an Alfa Romeo. The 2 litre engine fires up with that familiar growl and then you are away. Out on the open road this car drives well, and the rebuilt gearbox is a delight to use without any issues on any of the synchro’s. The engine bay is pin sharp as you would expect from a thoroughly restored car. The SPICA Fuel Injection system has been rebuilt by a renowned expert and works perfectly. Invoices accompanying the car total over $40,000 for parts alone. There are several folders and files with useful history and relevant documents including every note and piece of correspondence between the owner and various parties involved in the restoration. For the new owner this presents a wonderful opportunity to own a well restored matching numbers Spider in original specification with all the work done and at a fraction of the cost of a restoration. 1973 Alfa Romeo Spider Сlassic Сar Market If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1992-porsche-964-carrera-2
One of those Porsches we particularly like. The reason for this is quickly explained – without exception, all Porsches from the air-cooled era up to 1998 were built with much more effort than today – almost by hand. The production time from start to completion took almost four times as long as it does today. With the 964, this so-called production time culminated in a value that quite rightly assumed manufacturing dimensions. The enormous effort at the time brought Porsche into existential distress until a certain Mr. Wiedeking courageously took the reins and turned Porsche into one of the most profitable companies of its kind. The rest is history… we come full circle to our confession in the first sentence, when we explain, based on all the experience we've had over the past 40 years, why we particularly like these Porsches from that era: they seem to be built to last forever, if you take good care of them. There aren't all that many cars that are suitable for inheritance, dear readers. But a good 964 is absolutely essential. And now, as a general refresher, a few historical facts about this model before we get to our offer. The bold step taken by the then relatively small company Porsche to present a contemporary version of its ever-sought-after long-running model with the magical name 911, without robbing it of its essential characteristics or even its shape and silhouette, culminated in the introduction of the 964 model in 1989. This feat meant nothing less than preserving the shape and dimensions of the 911 developed up to that point, while essentially building a new car beneath the bodywork. Despite all adversities and emerging regulations, Porsche AG managed to integrate a fully encapsulated 3.6-liter boxer engine into the rear of the 11, which, not only in terms of emissions, perfectly met all of the increasingly stringent global standards of the time. This powertrain also met all noise regulations, powered a power-assisted steering system, and heated and air-conditioned the interior quickly, consistently, and semi-automatically. Starting with this 964 model, a modern automatic transmission, a modern ABS system, and a completely newly developed spring strut suspension were now available as options. Compared to the predecessor model, this suspension offered significantly more scope for further performance enhancements and the associated dynamic reserves. Finally, starting with this 964 model, a highly complex all-wheel drive system was also available as an option, largely based on the drivetrain of the 959 technology flagship. Last but not least, the sophisticated aerodynamics of the new 964 now allowed for power outputs of up to 400 hp, and corresponding top speeds of up to 300 km/h, without causing its drivers to break a sweat. The top models of this very short-lived model series proved to the world and all experts that this essentially outdated concept, with around 70% of the vehicle's weight on the rear axle, was far from obsolete. This design-related rear-heaviness had its drawbacks, which Porsche persistently mastered over the decades, so convincingly that the experts could only marvel. The advantages of this concept, however, were, are, and remain the most distinctive characteristics of a Porsche 911 – relentless traction on the drive axle and thus very efficient use of the available power, on the one hand. Even more astonishing, however, is the braking force that can be transferred to the rear axle, which is why the 911 has always delivered reference values that now exceed physical limits – thanks in part to the selection of the best braking elements. Back to our 964, which came with all the aforementioned attributes from the factory: largely individually handcrafted, long-lasting quality, modern and contemporary technology in the form of ABS, airbags, power steering, climate control, a fully electric top, comfortable seats, the "Porsche"-like driving of a thoroughbred sports car that no longer has to prove anything to anyone despite its now almost biblical age, absolute everyday usability, 100% spare parts availability, and the associated ease of use, and finally, a reliability that is probably unique in this segment and age. Above all, it is this absolute reliability that makes it so desirable even after decades. We claim that there is no other convertible sports car from the 90s that is even remotely as reliable as this 964. The best part – the 964 was the last to remain true to the classic 911 line and looks like a 911 should look. Try covering the car with a sheet before showing it to a 2-year-old boy. He'll point at it and shout "Porsche." 1992 Porsche 964 Carrera 2 DLS Automobile If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1984-renault-5-turbo-2
In 1980, Renault introduced their new R5 Turbo as a pure 'homologation special' to compete in 'Group 4' racing and international rallies. The 5 Turbo was based on the production Renault 5 Alpine, but Renault Sport engineers scrapped the standard front-engine, front-wheel drive layout in favour of a mid-engine, rear drive setup. In 1981, Jean Ragnotti and his co-driver, Jean-Marc Andrie, won the Monte Carlo Rally outright for Renault, and the following year Ragnotti won the Tour de Corse. In 1984, 'Group B' homologation was sought for the Renault Maxi 5 Turbo to enable it to contest the World Rally Championship and the following year, Ragnotti added another Tour de Corse win with the Maxi 5 turbo. After the first batch of 400 road cars had been made to satisfy 'Group 4' homologation volume requirements, a second generation, known as the 'Turbo 2' was to follow. Offered here at the NEC Classic Car Show 2025 is a remarkably well preserved, low-mileage Renault 5 Turbo 2. Finished in its factory colour scheme of Pearl White paintwork with brown leather and Alcantara interior, this is a standout example of Renault’s rally-bred, mid-engined hot-hatch. Supplied new to Germany, Turbo 2 chassis #943 was first owned by a Renault dealer principal who fitted a number of rally-inspired upgrades for a more purposeful appearance and soundtrack. These included an aluminium Matter roll cage, a Devil exhaust and Gotti split-rim wheels. Within the document file is a Heritage Certificate confirming that the chassis and engine numbers match, and closer inspection reveals that both the Matter roll cage and the spare wheel are correct for its model year. Today, the Turbo 2 displays just 25,346km (15,750 miles). It presents sharply, with gleaming Pearl paintwork, uniform shut lines, correct decals, an extremely well kept cabin, and we are informed that it performs just as well as it looks. Maintained by knowledgeable marque specialists, the car had a recent full inspection confirming its excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. Recent work includes correctly refurbished dampers, fitting an equal length manifold, new tyres, and replacement fuel lines. The accompanying history file is comprehensive including its Heritage Certificate, invoices for professional detailing, numerous invoices for maintenance over the years, MOT Certificates, various supporting documents, and a V5C registration document ready for transfer or export. It is now eligible for historic vehicle status. A road-going version of Renault’s 'Group B' thoroughbred, the Turbo 2 is an essential addition to any collection of landmark performances cars. With the market trend favouring the very best examples, this superbly presented little Renault is absolutely worthy of serious consideration. 1984 Renault 5 Turbo 2 Iconic Auctioneers Ltd If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. The notice and take down procedure is described here: https://www.speedholics.com/copyright In 1980, Renault introduced their new R5 Turbo as a pure 'homologation special' to compete in 'Group 4' racing and international rallies. - 1971-lamborghini-espada-s2
The Lamborghini Espada remains one of the most distinctive grand tourers of the 1970s, its sharp Gandini styling wrapped around a 3.9-litre V12 offering both performance and refinement. At the time of its launch, the Espada was positioned as Lamborghini’s flagship four-seater GT and remarkably, was even more expensive than the Miura, underlining its exclusivity. This 1971 Series 2 example has enjoyed long term ownership by Harry Metcalfe, founder of EVO magazine and presenter of the acclaimed Harry’s Garage YouTube channel, where it has featured extensively, amassing over 3,600,000 million views. Between 2020 and 2021, the Espada underwent a comprehensive engine and suspension rebuild by respected marque specialist Ian Tyrell, documented in detail on Tyrell’s Classic Workshop YouTube channel as well as Harry’s own. The car also benefits from power steering, significantly enhancing usability without compromising character. Prior to Harry’s ownership, during its well documented 1980s restoration, the Perspex roof and black wheel spinners were fitted, with the appropriate invoices in the car's history file alongside documentation detailing its registration change when returning from Jersey earlier in its life. In addition to its online fame, the car was featured in Octane magazine following its 1980s restoration, further underlining its significance within the Lamborghini community. It has also enjoyed notable concours success, including a class win at the London Concours d'Elegance in 2021 and prestigious Cartier Lawn displays at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in both 2016 and 2024. Designed as a true Grand Tourer, Harry has used the Espada as intended, driving it down to Monte Carlo among other long-distance trips. Most recently, in September 2025, Harry documented a journey across the Yorkshire Moors with his dog, Stanley, happily travelling in the rear seats. This trip demonstrated not only the car’s practicality but also that it has been mechanically sorted in recent times to ensure it drives exceptionally well. With considerably over six figures invested in its preparation and upkeep, this Espada represents very good value in our opinion. Presented directly from Harry Metcalfe’s ownership, it is a rare opportunity to acquire a world-renowned and beautifully prepared Lamborghini with documented provenance, concours pedigree, and proven touring capability. We welcome and encourage your inspection at the NEC in November of this very special motor car. 1971 Lamborghini Espada S2 Iconic Auctioneers Ltd If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer.
