The Aston Martin Virage Volante from the 1990s is a rare and particularly luxurious grand tourer that belongs to Aston Martin’s transitional period – it was one of Aston Martin’s last true “handcrafted cars” before the complete takeover by Ford. The Aston Martin Virage Volante offered here is a very early example and probably the first left-hand drive of the series with chassis no. #2. Of the approximately 234 examples built, only about 90-100 were left-hand drive. It was delivered new to a Swiss collection in November 1992 in red with a gray Connolly leather interior and the rare 5-speed manual transmission by Roos Engineering in Frauenkappelen. The car was then sold from the aforementioned collection in July 1999 with just under 3,000 km on the odometer and was registered for road use for the first time. This beautiful Aston Martin Virage Volante has been regularly serviced by Aston Martin experts and is in completely original condition with just about 30,000 km. The on-board folder with all original documents such as the owner’s handbook, operating instructions, and the complete and neatly kept service booklet and exhaust maintenance document are available.
