The car has been previously owned by actor and entertainer John Barrowman and from owning it from 2007 to 2015 he did less than 1400 miles only using it for very special occasions. In 2009 he spent £8700 extensively restoring certain elements. Including a new replacement convertible roof and rust elimination/proof on the bodywork. This included: Repair of corrosion to sills, rear wheel arches, lower front wings, lower section of the footwell/bulkhead. New rear deck panel. Repainted the rear of the car, lower sections of the front wings, lower front valance and rear bumper valances. Rust-proofed the car Rebuilt the gearbox Before John owned it it was owner by two owners of the same family in Poole Dorset. It was kept in a garage then too, especially during winter. Jonathon's Comments: 'R107's are a fantastic classic car. One that you can use every day if needed, alternatively you can save it for high days and holidays! The hard top makes it usable in the winter, however I'm sure most people will drive it with the roof down. This car has been very well looked after over the years and you can tell it's had lots of money spent on it. It's only being sold as the current owner has had a change of circumstances and now needs to move it on' The car has a comprehensive service history with a large folder full of receipts and will be serviced again by the Car Barn prior to sale.
