It presents as a strong, well-kept driver’s example with the right balance of cosmetic quality, mechanical integrity, and originality. The fuel-injected GTBi models offer a uniquely usable version of the classic transverse V8 Ferrari formula: lighter and more delicate than later cars, with excellent drivability and real-world usability. This example retains exactly the qualities that make the 308 compelling: beautiful analogue steering feel, compact dimensions, excellent visibility, and a genuinely mechanical driving character largely absent from later Ferraris.
