The Alfa Romeo Spider is a convertible manufactured by Italian carmaker Alfa Romeo. The first four generations, known as the 105 and 115 series, were produced from spring 1966 to the end of 1993. This makes the Alfa Romeo Spider 105 and 115 series one of the longest-running convertible models to remain largely unchanged. This Alfa Romeo Spider 2000 Veloce from the second series, known as Coda Tronca, was delivered in Switzerland and was first registered on 30 July 1981. The sporty convertible spent the period up to 2021 with two owners in sunny Ticino before being taken over by the consignor in 2023 after a brief stopover in the canton of Geneva. As the available invoices show, the body was repainted in its original colour and the seats were reupholstered in 2017/2018. In 2019, at 92’233 km, the alternator was replaced and in 2020, at 95’145 km, the Alfa got a new clutch. In 2024, around 1’700 km ago, a service was carried out and the front brake discs and pads were replaced. Now with 109’700 km on the clock, this attractive Spider is in very good condition and has been well maintained. It will be handed over to a new owner with its latest veteran MOT completed in April 2021.
