Presented in its original and highly desirable colour combination of Light Ivory with Black Leatherette interior, this exceptional 1968 Porsche 912 is a matching-numbers, short-wheelbase coupe that has benefited from meticulous ownership and expert maintenance throughout its life. Supplied new in 1968 to Porsche South West, San Antonio, Texas, USA, the car remained in America until its importation to the United Kingdom in 1998. It retains its original matching-numbers engine and presents today as a beautifully sorted example of Porsche's much-loved lightweight SWB model. In 2017, the car underwent a comprehensive restoration by renowned Porsche specialists Export 56, returning it to a superb standard while preserving its authenticity and character. Since completion, it has been carefully maintained regardless of cost, with recent work including a complete overhaul of the rear braking system. The interior is exceptionally well presented and features desirable period-correct Recaro sports seats trimmed in black leatherette, complemented by the original steering wheel and a Blaupunkt Essen radio.
