  • 1998 Ferrari 550 Maranello 1

This 1998 Ferrari 550 Maranello is finished in Argento Nurburgring and shows 66,850 km on the odometer. The 550 Maranello’s design is intended to be evocative of Ferrari’s greatest hits from the 1960s and 1970s while still providing outstanding aerodynamic efficiency and stability. With numerous cues from the 275 GTB and 365 GTB/4, the Maranello was a classic when it was first shown and has aged beautifully in the 27 years since. Although the basic architecture for the 550 Maranello was shared with the 4-Seat 456 GT, 100mm were cut from the wheelbase, and power increased significantly. The interior of the 550 Maranello is beautiful in its simplicity, and one of the last truly timeless interior designs from Ferrari before screens became an integral part of the experience. This example is fitted with a deep red-brown leather known as Pelle, accented with lighter brown carpeting throughout the cabin. A pair of nicely bolstered bucket seats are extremely comfortable for long-distance driving but will also hold you in place when the road gets twisty. In front of the driver, a 3-spoke steering wheel frames a simple gauge pod with a tachometer, speedometer, oil pressure, and water temperature- while three other gauges sit in a pod atop the dashboard to your right. Behind you is a sizable parcel shelf that is perfect for carrying overnight bags for a weekend away. Powering the 550 Maranello is a 5.5 liter V12 with dual overhead cams and 4-valves per cylinder rated at 478 horsepower and 419 lb-ft of torque. This engine is known to be one of the more dependable engines to come out of Ferrari and does not require engine out servicing like the mid-engine cars of the same time period. In all 550s, the only available gearbox is a 6-speed manual transaxle that sends power to the rear wheels. Starting with the 575M in 2002, the F1 gearbox became the almost universal choice for front-engine V12 Ferraris, making the 550 truly the end of the classic era of Ferrari. When a car combines timeless beauty and outstanding performance, you know that the car that results is bound to become a classic. Now that the 550 Maranello is more than 25 years old, it has achieved classic status but thanks to its modern technology, it can be used every day without worry. 1998 Ferrari 550 Maranello ISSIMI, Inc If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1981-ferrari-308-gtb-1

The Ferrari 308 GTB was introduced at the Paris Salon in 1975 as the successor to the Dino 246 GT, marking Ferrari’s return to Pininfarina styling. Its design combined contemporary wedge influences with flowing, balanced lines and signature elements from the Dino such as scalloped side intakes and twin circular rear lamps, a shape that remained largely unchanged throughout production. Early cars were constructed in lightweight glass-fibre before a transition to steel bodies from late 1976. Mechanically, the carburettor-fed cars gave way to fuel-injected models from 1980, primarily to meet emissions regulations, resulting in a reduction in power. This was later addressed with the introduction of the four-valve ‘Quattrovalvole’ cylinder head in 1982. European-market examples retained desirable dry-sump lubrication throughout the carburettor production run. Consequently, late steel-bodied, European supplied, carburettor-equipped GTB models are widely regarded as the purest and most highly sought after among Ferrari enthusiasts and classic car collectors. Offered here with Iconic Auctioneers at Supercar Fest 2026 is this stunning, UK-supplied, right-hand drive Ferrari 308 GTB, supplied new by Coopers of Leicester and first registered in January 1981. It is understood to be one of just 211 right-hand drive examples. At the time of cataloguing, the odometer displayed just 31,077 miles and the V5C registration document detailed three previous keepers, the first being Coopers themselves, probably as a demonstrator or for the dealer principal's own use. Today the car presents beautifully in traditional Rosso Corsa with Nero leather seats and Rosso carpets. The overall condition is described as excellent and, in preparation for the sale, the car will be entrusted to a marque specialist for a fresh service including cambelts. Opening the driver’s door, you are met with the familiar scent of Italian leather, complemented by well-preserved period dials and switchgear. The engine starts readily, settling quickly to a light V8 rumble and breathing happily through its four 40DCNF Webers. It's accompanied by a substantial history file including the original book pack and service book, along with a large collection of invoices supporting careful maintenance over the years. The fitment of a Birdman fuse board is a sensible upgrade improving safety and reliability and for the past decade, the car has been maintained by a respected Ferrari specialist familiar with the 308. In summary, this represents a rare opportunity to acquire a low-mileage, low-owner, 1980s V8 Ferrari, presented in a classic colour combination, benefitting from the sought-after steel-bodied, dry-sump, carburettor specification, freshly serviced, and now ready to be enjoyed. 1981 Ferrari 308 GTB Iconic Auctioneers Ltd If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. The Car Barn are very pleased to offer for sale this beautiful Ferrari 348. It is finished in the quintessential Ferrari colour combination of Rosso Corsa with Creama leather. The 348 is powered by a mid-mounted naturally aspirated 3.4-litre V8, delivering 296bhp to the rear wheels through an open-gate five-speed manual transmission. It was treated to a major service in November 2021, which included replacing the cam belts, water pump, and tensioners. The clutch was replaced in April 2015 at 47,670 miles. Factory-fitted equipment includes climate control, electric windows, and electric mirrors. The car is accompanied by the original owner’s book pack, including the service book with 12 stamps. It was last serviced in November 2021 at 50,081 miles, when Classic Car Solutions replaced the cam belt, water pump, tensioners, and coolant. Bell Classics previously carried out a service in April 2015 at 47,670 miles, which included replacing the engine oil and oil filter, cam belt, water pump, cam cover gaskets, camshaft seals, track rod ends, and CV joints, as well as rebuilding the steering rack. They also fitted uprated Hill Engineering tensioners, checked and set the valve clearances, and carried out a leak-down test, with all cylinders showing a compression loss of less than five percent. During this visit the Bell Classics also installed a single-plate clutch and technicians re-packed the flywheel, fitted Goodridge brake hoses, re-cored the radiators, rebuilt the dampers, replaced the second-gear synchromesh, replaced the hand brake cable and all brake pads, installed poly-bushes to the suspension. The current owner bought it in 2022 and has kept it in storage since. It has only done 60 miles since he purchased it. Jonathon's comments: 'The 348 has been an under appreciated Ferrari for years and finally starting to be recognised. It's a real event to drive, not the fastest by todays standards but the way it makes you feel is what's important. The car has got a good service history and it has spent a lot of its life in storage, hopefully the next owner will drive it!' The car will receive a fresh service and MoT test prior to leaving the Car Barn. We welcome any part exchanges and we provide a 6 month warranty on most of our cars (subject to terms and conditions) For more information or to book an appointment to view the vehicle please contact Jonathon Webb on +44(0)7442 897760 or on Jonathon@carbarn.co.uk About Car Barn Beamish Car Barn Beamish is the leading independent sports, prestige and classic car specialist in the North East, as well as an official Caterham dealer and INEOS Grenadier servicing agent. DRESSED TO KILL At the Paris Salon in October 1959 Ferrari introduced its second-series 250 GT Cabriolet, now built on the company’s new 2,400-millimetre short wheelbase. Pininfarina’s updated coachwork was a breathtaking revision in formalism, using more conservative proportions and fewer finishing details to result in a model that was more easily distinguishable from the concurrent 250 GT California Spider. Despite the outward guise of a staid luxury grand touring automobile, the new 250 GT Cabriolet still delivered characteristic Ferrari gusto, with disc brakes at all four corners and the latest iteration of the Colombo-designed three-litre V-12 engine. This motor, designated as the type 128E (and later the 128F), featured individual cylinder porting and outside-V spark plugs, developments undertaken with the Testa Rossa racecars that contributed to more ferocious performance, greater reliability, and improved convenience. Just 200 examples of the Series II Cabriolet were built, and in recent years they have evolved into one of the more collectible 250 GT iterations, offering performance and styling roughly equivalent to the California Spider at a fraction of the investment—a veritable wolf in sheep’s clothing. ONE OF ONE, IN SPRUCE GREEN Boasting a world-class restoration to its rare original one-off paint colour, this exquisite Series II Cabriolet is surely one of the finest examples ever publicly offered. According to the research of marque expert Marcel Massini, chassis number 2381 GT is the 112th example built. It entered the Pininfarina plant in December 1960, destined to receive a one-off paint finish in the striking shade of Verde Abete Savid, a metallic spruce green. Trimmed with an interior in Naturale vaumol leather and vinyl, the Ferrari was distributed through MG Crepaldi Automobili, the well-known official dealer in Milan. From there it was sold in May 1961 to the first owner, a local resident named Mr Lamfranconi. While the 250 GT’s interim history is currently unknown, it is clear the Cabriolet was exported to the United States and repainted in Rosso. By the mid-2000s the car was owned by Bruce Robertson, an Italian sports car enthusiast based in Lake Forest, Illinois. In January 2006, the Cabriolet was sold by Mr Robertson to Bruce Lustman of Colorado, a major Ferrari collector who also owned vintage stalwarts such as a 166 MM, a 340 Mexico, and a 500 TRC, not to mention a 288 GTO. In need of some restorative attention by this time, chassis 2381 GT was submitted for complete refurbishment to Farland Classic Restoration in Englewood, Colorado, including a refinish in Nero paint over a matching Nero interior. In tandem with the restoration, the Cabriolet was certified with a Ferrari Classiche “Red Book” in March 2008. At this point the presence was noted of the car’s matching-numbers engine, gearbox, rear axle, and coachwork. Soon sold to a respected dealer in Southern California, the Ferrari was next offered in May 2008 at RM Auctions’ “Leggenda e Passione” sale held at Maranello in concert with the Ferrari factory. The 250 GT was acquired there by an Austrian diplomat working in Monaco who retained possession for an impressive period of 15 years. The owner bolstered the 250 GT’s documentation with the issuance of a FIVA Identity Card in November 2011, and he treated the car to expert maintenance with service from G Cavallari-Monaco Motors in July 2013, as demonstrated by an invoice on file. Following a decade and a half of doting care, the then-owner consigned the Ferrari to RM Sotheby’s Villa Erba auction in May 2023. It was then purchased by the Italian restoration company Bacchelli & Villa, one of the most respected names in Ferrari refurbishment. Recognising chassis 2381 GT’s somewhat obscured identity as the only such cabriolet originally finished in Verde Abete Savid, the craftsmen at Bacchelli & Villa fastidiously restored the car to authentic factory standards, including a return to the beautiful original colour combination. This work included attention by some of Italy’s most respected automotive artisans, including mechanical refurbishment by Sport Auto di Diena & Silingardi, wiring and instrument reconditioning by Elettrauto Gatti, and interior re-trimming by Tappezzeria Luppi. On the back of the expert restoration, the Ferrari was presented at the Cavallino Classic in May 2025. It won a Platinum Award and the Best of Show: Gran Turismo, an exceptional endorsement that clarifies just how special the car truly is. The 250 GT is currently in the process of having its Ferrari Classiche certification renewed to reflect the update in cosmetics to the correct factory-original colours, although it should be noted that the car continues to be equipped with the matching-numbers components as certified by the 2008 Ferrari Classiche “Red Book”. This exquisitely presented 250 GT boasts exceptional build provenance, being the only Series II Cabriolet finished in the magnificent colour of Verde Abete Savid. With its extraordinary state of presentation confirmed by the 2025 Cavallino Best of Show win, chassis 2381 GT is quite simply one of the most desirable examples one might hope to find, bar none. It would make a crowning addition to any sporting collection, ideal for further exhibition or touring event enjoyment, as a brilliant gem from the legendary workshops of Maranello and Grugliasco. 1961 Ferrari 250 GT Cabriolet Series II by Pininfarina RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. After 17 years in production, Lamborghini’s iconic Countach finally made way for the Diablo, a car that moved the marque decisively into a new era. Unveiled at Monaco in January 1990, it was faster, more advanced and more expensive than any Lamborghini that had come before it, yet retained the dramatic presence for which the company had become famous. Styled by Marcello Gandini, whose previous work included the Miura and Countach, the Diablo combined the visual theatre expected of Sant’Agata with genuine progress in engineering, refinement and usability. The model introduced a new level of sophistication to the Lamborghini formula. Carbon fibre composite panels, developments in suspension design and the adoption of fuel injection for the 48-valve V12 all marked a significant step forward. The platform was conceived with future developments in mind, including four-wheel drive, and Lamborghini’s 5.7-litre V12 delivered performance that comfortably moved beyond the Countach. Over the course of its life the Diablo evolved steadily, but it was the arrival of Audi ownership in 1998 that brought the most comprehensive revision. The result was the Diablo 6.0 VT, with fixed headlamps, reworked styling, numerous under-skin improvements and the enlarged 6.0-litre V12, creating what many regard as the definitive version of the model. Finished in Nero Pegaso over a classically dramatic Diablo interior in Nero Pegaso leather with Grigio inserts, the example offered here was first registered in Switzerland and supplied by Lamborghini Porrentruy. Its early life appears to have been one of regular use and proper maintenance, supported by service history from the supplying dealer and other specialists. Recorded servicing includes Lamborghini Porrentruy at 2,824km in September 2000, 12,803km in May 2001 and 36,733km in September 2002, together with work by P3 Automobiles of Cannes in August 2001 and Garage Remsa of Sion in 2007 at 45,100km. It is clearly a car that was used as intended in period, covering mileage across its early years rather than being placed immediately into static storage. The Diablo was brought to the UK in 2012 and has remained here since. It was serviced by Rardley Motors at 46,077km in October 2012 and appears to have seen only minimal use thereafter. Since arriving in the UK it has had just three keepers, before changing hands again in 2022 when it was the subject of extensive servicing by SB Racing at 46,088km. Today the car is accompanied by its owner’s handbook, service book and a history file detailing recent expenditure. Works in 2022 included a full service, replacement of the notorious sticky switches, four new Pirelli P Zero Asimmetrico tyres and further associated sundry items, all helping bring the car to the presentation and standard seen today. This is an appealing example of the ultimate Diablo, a car with clear early use, sensible later stewardship and supporting history from new. Rarely does a model better encapsulate the spirit of the late-1990s and early-2000s supercar era, and this 6.0 VT offers an opportunity to acquire one of Lamborghini’s most significant modern classics in a form that is both highly usable and eminently collectible. 2000 Lamborghini Diablo VT Iconic Auctioneers Ltd If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. In its maiden season, the DB3S accelerated Aston Martin’s rise as a highly competitive Works outfit during a golden era of sportscar racing. Based on the earlier DB3—noted to be heavy and struggling against rival cars such as the Jaguar C-Type—the DB3S was a transformation overseen by Willie Watson, who enhanced Professor Robert Eberan von Eberhorst’s initial blueprint. Redesigned with a shorter chassis, the sportscar was lighter and more agile as a result, all the while wearing timeless bodywork styled by Frank Feeley. Aston Martin built 10 examples to serve the Works squad, with one additional DB3S built to team specification in 1957 but not raced by the factory. The likes of Peter Collins, Reg Parnell, and Roy Salvadori quickly found success from behind the wheel of the factory-campaigned DB3Ss, as the car began competitive action in May 1953. The three cars entered into the 24 Hours of Le Mans succumbed to a lack of testing time but just days after, Parnell roared back with 1st place in the British Empire Trophy followed by winning the Charterhall International. Meanwhile, team 1-2s ensued in the 9 Hours of Goodwood (Parnell and Eric Thompson in 1st; Collins with Pat Griffith scoring 2nd) and the RAC Tourist Trophy race at Dundrod in the sixth round of the inaugural World Sportscar Championship (Collins and Griffith in 1st; Parnell and Thompson placing 2nd). To follow the competitive success of the DB3S, some 20 further examples were commissioned for purchase by privateer race teams—or simply for sportscar enthusiasts seeking a nimble roadster that could be driven on the public highway. The customer-specification builds stayed true to form of the Works cars, notably punctuated by the achingly pretty bodywork styled by Feeley. The factory entrants were marked by two-digit chassis numbers, while customer cars gained a triple-digit identifier. The example offered here, chassis number DB3S/111, was constructed between August and October 1955. Finished by the factory in Almond Green with a silver-painted grille and green leather upholstery, the DB3S was initially retained by the factory. Almost immediately after completion the car was taken to the 1955 British Motor Show at Earls Court, where it was exhibited on the Aston Martin show stand. In accompanying photography, famed Bond girl Eunice Gayson, who played Sylvia Trench in 007 films Dr No and From Russia With Love, is captured posing with the car and sitting in the driver’s seat. Coinciding with its retention by the factory, it is believed, but not confirmed, that chassis DB3S/111 was the car road tested by Autosport for a review printed in February 1956 and by Autocar the following April. Period correspondence on file notes that the car was presented in March 1956 to Brooklands of Bond Street, who sold the DB3S to its first private owner, one Mr Mackie, with its first registration with the number plate “SLX 899” recorded in May. Further documentation from the Aston Martin Owners Club notes the next owner as R S Wilkins, who allegedly had the car fitted with SU carburettors—rather than standard Weber issue—in an effort to tame the 3.0-litre straight-six engine for application on the road. The Aston Martin changed hands again in 1960 and over the next few years, it was successfully raced by its next three keepers. The first, Mr Doggett, finished 7th overall in the VSCC Pomeroy Trophy in 1960. The following year, he returned for overall victory. Also in 1961, Mr Doggett exhibited the DB3S at the Banbury Concours. Its next custodian, Mr W Ham, assumed ownership in 1962 and finished 2nd overall in a BRSCC race at Snetterton, followed by victory at another event at Silverstone, and 3rd place in an LMC Snetterton race. In 1963, Mr Alderslade bought the car and finished 2nd overall in a Silverstone race and 2nd again in an SMRC event at Snetterton. In 1965, the DB3S was acquired by Mr Ivan Carr, heir to the eponymous biscuit and cracker manufacturer based in Carlisle. A period letter on file notes that Carr bought the car in poor cosmetic condition but fitted a new cylinder head after cracks appeared in the original unit. The car stayed in Cumbria for nine years until it was bought by Mr John Crabtree of Otley, Yorkshire in 1973. The following year, chassis number DB3S/111 was acquired by Roger Forshaw, son of marque historian and founder of Aston Service Dorset, Ivan Forshaw. A letter on file from Roger notes that alongside his brother Richard, the Forshaws had long planned to acquire a DB3S, whether Works- or production-specification, and they began contacting the known owners of the cars. On speaking to Mr Carr, it was revealed that his example had been verbally agreed to be sold to Mr Crabtree, who was able to turn a quick profit on the Aston Martin so his ownership did not last for long. In the care of the Forshaw family, at various points custodians of some of the most significant cars to wear the badge (including sister car, chassis number DB3S/101), the DB3S was richly enjoyed. It was regularly driven to Aston Martin Owners Club meetings at Silverstone, Brands Hatch, Wiscombe Park, Fort Belvedere, and other venues. On speaking with RM Sotheby’s, Anthony Forshaw—son of Roger and now Managing Director of Aston Service Dorset—fondly recalled being driven to school in “SLX 899”. What a way to impress your classmates! In 1990, Aston Service Dorset oversaw the restoration of chassis number DB3S/111, with the process led by John Lambert, former technician for Team Lotus and John Surtees’ self-named race team. The car was rebuilt, retrimmed, and repainted by the time it was finally completed in 1992. In 2014, the DB3S was acquired by its next keeper, this time in the United States, after four decades of single-family ownership. The car later returned to Europe, where it has been enjoyed in the most significant events and rallies, not limited to the Mille Miglia Storica. Now the rare opportunity has arisen once more to buy this significant Aston Martin, which is offered with a spare engine block, the DB3S would be an ideal contender for future participation in the many concours events and rallies it is eligible to enter. A cornerstone of Aston Martin’s competition history and surely the centre-point of any marque collection, presented here in its factory-correct colour scheme, this cherished and renowned DB3S awaits the next chapter in its fascinating story so far. 1955 Aston Martin DB3S RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. Ferrari's 201 mph F40 is the definitive supercar and has a formidable reputation alongside the 250 GTO as possibly the best road Ferrari built to date. With the F40, Pininfarina produced an era-defining creation, one that even today is instantly recognisable by old and young enthusiasts alike. F40's were closely derived from the experimental GTO Evoluzione and the road-going 288 GTO (that the F40 replaced). The design features a tubular steel chassis with bonded composite inserts, most notably around the sills and floor pan, The 2,936 cc motor produces approximately 500 bhp at 7,000 rpm with the help of two water-cooled IHI turbochargers running 1.1 bar of boost. At 1,202 kg, the F40 had, and still has, a phenomenal power-to-weight ratio. Shatteringly fast by any comparison (especially for 1988), the F40 can sprint from 0-60 mph in just 4.4 seconds and hit 201 mph flat out making it the first production car to surpass this mystical boundary A early non-cat, non-adjust example; this Ferrari F40 was supplied new to its first custodian on 7th February 1990. The car was purchased for 202.6m Italian Lira, equivalent to €145,995 at the time, and registered to Paolo Perotti of Fimair S.r.L. The car would remain in his care for a period of five years before its export to its next keeper in Germany in March of 1995. Understood to have been sourced by official Ferrari dealership Tamsen GmbH, the car was listed for sale before being sold. Norbert Keck would become the car’s next owner. Born in June 1955, it is tempting to assume that Keck purchased the F40 as a 40th birthday present to himself. His relationship with Ferrari was close; so much so that in 1997 he returned the F40 to Tamsen and drove away in a brand new F50. The F40 subsequently passed to Christian Imbusch, a real‑estate mogul known for showcasing the rewards of his business success. Imbusch used the F40 exactly as an enthusiast would, and during his ownership the car was displayed at Ferrari Racing Days and at the Oldtimer Grand Prix at the Nürburgring. Purchased by property magnate Jörg Schröder in 2000, this example has remained largely under the radar since. Maintenance was carried out by Schröder’s preferred official dealer, Eberlein Automobile of Kassel. As recently as August 2025, the F40 underwent a major mechanical overhaul by Martini Motors. During this work, it received new cambelts, brakes, fuel tanks, turbos, tyres, and a clutch, ensuring both drivability and longevity. Offered today with its original book pack and tool kit, this “non‑cat, non‑adjust” F40 also retains its matching engine and body. As such, it represents a highly desirable example built in an increasingly sought‑after configuration, and today presents with 47,960 km. Whilst this example will pass through our workshops as a part of the sale, it is available to view by appointment immediately. 1990 Ferrari F40 D.K. Ford’s long awaited ‘droop snoot’ RS 2000 was launched at the Earls Court show of October 1975. It was the most luxurious of the sporting Escorts of the time. Powered by an updated version of the 2.0-litre OHC Pinto unit, with a four into two exhaust manifolds coupled to a big bore exhaust system it produced 110bhp. This propelled the RS2000 from 0-60mph in just 8.5 secs and onto a top speed of 110mph. The 1979 Ford Escort RS2000 Custom offered here at Autostorico is finished in its original Signal Yellow with Black cloth interior trim. First registered on 7th November 1979 to Currie Motors, Kingston on Thames as their demonstrator before passing to its first private owner in May 1980. Purchased by an avid Ford enthusiast in December 1982 from the first owner who was a friend. During his 38-year ownership he commissioned ongoing sympathetic upgrades. These included a fully rebuilt Vulcan 2100 Pinto engine with Maxiflow unleaded head, Piper 285 cam, lightened flywheel, Twin Weber carburettors modified for Pinto use with manual choke and period Janspeed 4 branch manifold and exhaust system. The gearbox is a Type 9 5 speed, with vented braking upgrades from a 2.8i Capri. Other highlights include Original correct date stamped alloy wheels, three spoke RS steering wheel, Cibie headlights, original glass with number plate etching and original lockset with 2 keys. Offered for sale with an extensive history file which includes its original owners book pack, current V5 registration document, MOT certificates, numerous invoices and other related material. A truly unique opportunity to own a sympathetically upgrade 1980s icon. 1979 Ford RS2000 Custom Autostorico Partners LLP If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer.
