- 1990 Ferrari Testarossa
Pininfarina design, gated manual 5-speed gearbox, and a robust, naturally aspirated 12-cylinder engine. This is Ferrari’s signature recipe that has created some of the most iconic and sought-after road cars to date. As we entered the 1980s, it was a truly exciting time in the automotive world as the dawn of the supercar era had arrived. Manufacturers were conjuring up exotic body designs and super-powerful engines for their road cars, to a degree that had never been explored. Lamborghini had come out with the Countach which was unlike anything the car world had seen before, between its massive rear wing, vertically hinged doors, and stunning ascetics. It was pure eye candy that had raw, uncensored power however, Ferrari had an answer for the flashy Lambo. The Ferrari Testarossa is a name that had not been used since the LeMans winning 250TR. This name represents a significant time for Ferrari as well as a significant racing pedigree, so the expectations for the car were very high. In 1984, the stage was set at the Paris Auto Show, as enthusiasts awaited the unveiling of the new, highly anticipated Testarossa and it did not disappoint. It was an immediate success, as Ferrari went on to produce over 10,000 units. Over the course of the Testarossa life cycle, the car underwent only a few cosmetic changes as well as mechanical ones. Early cars were marked by high-mounted, single mirrors on the driver’s side, and the very latest ones, ditching the pop-up headlights. By 1990, only a few model years before moving onto the 512 TR, the original Testarossa had benefited from 5 lug wheels, catalytic converters, and a new flywheel. Given that the previous years were quite the slam dunk for the engineers in Maranello, you can see why only small tweaks were made over the years. The Testarossa on offer here, chassis # ZFFSG17A1L0083906, is finished in its original Rosso Corsa paint and shows just over 9,100 miles on its original engine, #20898. On October 23rd, 1990 this Testarossa was first taken in by a dealer where 1 year later it’s first real owner purchased the car showing 805 miles on the odometer in 1991. Following that, the first owner enjoyed the car thoroughly, putting 3,297 miles on it over two years. The car seemingly stayed with the original owner until 2009 when it was sold to a dealer in Arkansas with an odometer reading of 8,904. In 2013 a new owner was reported who held onto the car for several years before passing it off to Cauley Ferrari, in West Bloomfield, Michigan in 2017. After arriving at Cauley a full comprehensive inspection of the suspension, electrical system, and all of the glass was carried out, as well as a general service including an oil change was completed. Following the completion of those services, the car was purchased by its current owner, who has sparingly enjoyed this classic red over tan Testarossa. This example is truly collector grade in every sense of the word with its original paint hardly showing a single knick on the front hood, wheels in perfect original shape, and paint with incredible depth and orange peel throughout. The tan with brown interior presents wonderfully with one scuff near the shifter housing and only minor wear on the driver-side seat as one would expect. Once seated you’re greeted with a perfect driving position and once out onto the road this Testarossa springs to life, with its wonderful 12-cylinder engine and engaging gated 5-speed manual transmission. These days, a mid-engine 12-cylinder Ferrari is a $1,000,000 affair at minimum. Testarossas provide an entry point much cheaper at which that iconic layout can be enjoyed! Included in the sale of this Testarossa are the original manuals, Classiche Certification, and full factory tool set. 1990 Ferrari Testarossa LBI Limited If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1963-ferrari-250-gt-berlinetta-lusso-3
This LHD example was the 174th car built, completed at the factory in October 1963 and subsequently delivered to the official dealer in Florence two months later. One of just 17 black Lusso’s to leave the factory, this car was purchased by its first owner Carlo Fiorini, an industrialist from the city (perhaps a late Christmas present to himself) on December 28th. Enjoying the car enormously, the car returned the factory for its first service the following month, already having covered 2,000kms. Fiorini returned the car to the factory twice more that year; in March at 4,600kms and later in June with 9,600kms. The car was sold to its second owner in 1966 by Fiorini to a resident in Rome who would also return the car to the factory for service; 1967 now at an impressive 56,700kms. The third owner was a British businessman who purchased the car in June 1967, later sending the car to LA by steamship to arrive in April 1968. The car had a series of US owners including renowned collector and historian Ed Niles, whose photographs of the car remain the file to this day. Moving from LA to Oregon in 1981, a comprehensive restoration began, completing in late 1982. At this time the car was put up for sale and had been refinished in red. In January 1986, the car was sold as part of a deal including a 330GTS to large car collector, Mr Artam. Owner of a private car museum, Mr Artam stored the car as part of his collection in Istanbul, Turkey where it would remain until we purchased the car in 2016. A total nut and bolt restoration was set upon to the DK’s highest standard. Having restored close to 100 Ferrari 250-series cars since our founding, DK Engineering were the obvious choice for the comprehensive, bare-metal restoration of this car. We stripped the car to the bare metal over the course of a week, ensuring a full inventory was made of all parts. We delivered the car to renowned metal panel beaters, Bodylines of Northampton. After removing the paint, the thoroughly original bodywork was revealed. Particular time and attention was spent ensuring the rear wheel arches were the correct shape and as per original images of the car. With no two cars identical, this process took a number of weeks of research, high-resolution images and numerous inspections. At the same time, comprehensively rebuilt the matching-numbers engine in house. When completed, the engine was fully photographed before being put into storage. It was subsequently purchased by its current owner in 2024, and driven in the Richard Mille sponsored 'Le Rallye des Légendes'. At the owner's request, the engine has since been fettled in such a way as to balance out any hint of vibration. As the previous owner of multiple 250 Lusso chassis', the meticulous Swiss gentleman to whom this car belongs wanted to ensure that this particular Lusso characteristic was entirley eradicated. Each stage of the restoration was thoroughly documented, for reference but equally as a means to demonstrate the art of the process. After the metalwork was complete, the car was photographed ahead of its move to paint-masters Spray Tec. Refinished in its original deep black, the car was once more photographed on a jig ahead of reassembly at our main facility. Read more about our inhouse restoration of this example: A Comprehensive Restoration - 1 of 17 Lusso's Supplied New in Nero The interior trim was chosen as Vaumol 3015, a period option green that delightfully contrasts the deep black coachwork. O’ Rourke Coachtrimmers handled all of the interior work, visiting our site regularly to complete the installation. Over the course of 26 months, a total of 2,970 hours has been spent on the restoration. With final assembly completed, the car has since appeared at Salon Prive where it was awarded Most Elegant Car on the lawns in 2023. This stunning matching-numbers 250 GT Berlinetta Lusso is available to view at our showrooms just outside London immediately. 1963 Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta Lusso D.K. - 1969 Porsche 911
“It’s not politically correct. (What better reason is there?)’’ - Porsche Germany The Porsche 911 Targa is a captivating beauty from the beloved (late) 60s. When gas stations were still staffed, cigarettes adorned the birthday table and hippie culture challenged the norms. The iconic Targa top combines the thrill of driving with the sun on the crown, the sleek look of the Targa Bar and the convenience of a hardtop. The great thing about this example is that this is a custom made project. The previous owner has put his heart and soul into this gem and given it all the attention it needs. Now let’s talk about its uniqueness, starting with the color. Wunchfarbe Kristalblau, one of the rarest colors on request, only delivered by Porsche for a limited number of years. Reportedly, only a total of 75(!!!) examples left the Porsche factory in Stuttgart in this color. Restored to perfection. Everything, not only new and fresh, but also tight with perfect seams all around. But the big party takes place in the 3.0 liter engine. And no, this is not a circle meeting with cheese and sausage in plastic containers, but a blast party that will be remembered for years to come. This beautiful specimen is equipped with a 3.0 liter powerhouse. It is equipped with new high compression pistons in combination with 6 ITBs. Also called 'individual throttle bodies' that ensure an impressive amount of speed. A computer-controlled injection also ensures optimal distribution of the fuel. The computer operates, by means of a custom-made wiring harness, the right cylinder at the exact moment with the perfect amount of gasoline (this is called sequential injection). All this is controlled by sensors and adjusted in real time by the computer if necessary. The party is completed with a racing flywheel and a modified gearbox for seamless 'Schnell' shifting. This set-up, together with stabilizers all around, ensures an unprecedented driving experience. The car ‘hangs’ on the gas and responds like no other to every push of the toe. The full stainless steel exhaust system provides the necessary auditory icing on the cake. Believe us, many bystanders will break their necks. Get in the driver's seat and prepare yourself for an explosion between the class of the past and the technology of today. A win-win situation. Don't forget to bring your flared jeans, tie-dye shirts, aviator sunglasses and a whole lot of attitude! There is so much more to tell about this model. - 1989 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary
Sandro Munari and Horacio Pagani. To appreciate the lengths Lamborghini went to ensure the car with which it would mark its 25th anniversary was truly worthy, you only needed a glance at the two names drafted in to help develop it. In truth, when Chrysler assumed control of Lamborghini in the 1980s, it had rather hoped that the new Diablo would be ready in time for the marque’s landmark birthday. Alas, it wasn’t to be, so focus instead turned to the trusty Countach, Lamborghini’s wedge-tastic flagship since 1974. That the resulting Countach 25th Anniversary, of which 667 were produced, evolved from Gandini’s minimal LP400 is remarkable. The liberal addition of era-defining (and functional) strakes and select carbon-fibre bits and pieces were the work of a young Horacio Pagani, who’d been recruited to head Lamborghini’s exciting new composites division. Furthermore, the 1977 World Rally Champion Sandro Munari was brought in to hone the suspension. And it’s fair to say the Italian knew a thing or to about road-holding and balance. Combined with a plethora of comfort- and refinement-based upgrades implemented to overcome some of the Countach’s established foibles, the 25th Anniversary is the best Countach to drive and enjoy. Chassis number 12785 Finished in Rosso Siviglia over a Nero interior and specified from new with the optional ‘Sports’ driver’s seat, this stunning matching-numbers 25th Anniversary boasts an excellent provenance and a rich service history – a testament to the meticulous care of its small number of owners. Delivered new to Zimmermann & Kawitz in Germany via Mu.N Neuwagen of Berlin in October 1989, chassis number 12785 was assigned the registration ‘HB-KP 334’, marking the beginning of its storied journey. After several years of enjoyment by its owner, this Countach received its first service in June 1992, at the official Lamborghini service centre, Auto-Kremer in Bonn, ensuring the highest standard of maintenance from the start. This level of care continued with services undertaken in June 1994, July 1997, and June 1999, all performed by the same trusted service centre. In 2003, chassis number 12785 was celebrated at the Lamborghini 40th Anniversary Factory Party and Tour in Sant’Agata and the surrounding areas, with the next scheduled service of the vehicle undertaken in July 2004. Fast forward to March 2014, when Monika Katharina Zaske acquired the vehicle in Gottmadingen, Germany, later passing it to Noise & Fire GmbH in Obersulm. In April 2018, the Countach found its way to Futuro E Ingenio S.L in Malaga, Spain, when its odometer showed 25,457 km. Shortly after arriving in the country it underwent an inspection, confirming its excellent condition. Its time in Andalusia was short lived, though, as in April 2019, the vehicle returned to Germany, re-registering under ‘HN-LP 3333’ after passing through a GTU inspection. Chassis number 12785 continued to receive top-tier care with subsequent inspections in June 2021 and January 2023, where it proudly secured its Roadworthiness Certificate at 25,477 km. In April 2023, an International Motor Insurance Certificate was issued, linking the vehicle to ‘WCM – Worldwide Car Management’ in Obersulm, Germany. The same year, the car participated in the Lamborghini 60th Anniversary Tour. Most recently, in October 2024, it was delivered to Top Motors Salvioli in Modena, Italy, for servicing, continuing its tradition of excellence. This matching-numbers Countach 25th Anniversary not only stands as a remarkable piece of automotive history, but also reflects the dedication and passion of every owner and service provider it has encountered. A spirited morning of photography in the stunning hills above Modena proved what a great Countach this is to drive and enjoy. 1989 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary Girardo & Co. - 1992 Lancia Delta Integrale HF Turbo 5 EVO
First seen at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1979, the Lancia Delta Integrale is best known for its domination of The World Rally Championship in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Constantly being developed, the first ‘Evoluzione' cars were built at the end of 1991 and carried on through 1992 and these 'Evoluzione' models were to be the final homologation cars built for the Lancia Rally Team competing under the Martini Racing banner. In the never-ending quest for better handling, the Evoluzione had a wider front and rear track than earlier Deltas and in order to squeeze this under the bodywork, the already wide wheel arches were extended even further and in the process also became more rounded. The 'new' Integrale retained the four-wheel-drive layout with an epicyclic centre diff and torque splitter, plus a Ferguson viscous coupling and Torsen rear differential. The engine, although technically the same as the earlier 16V cars, was remapped to give 210bhp at 5750rpm in order to compensate for the slight increase in weight and increased frontal area. These improvements were aimed at maximizing the potential of the car and it worked, with the developed car shaving over 5% off previous stage times on asphalt and gravel. This example of one of the most iconic and sought after cars of its era, is number 124 of the limited run of 400 cars built to celebrate the Integrale's fifth consecutive victory in the World Championship for Manufacturers. It's every inch, the 'poster car' and presents beautifully in the distinctive white livery of the famous Martini drinks company, Lancia's sponsors at the time, and the interior is trimmed in unmarked grey Alcantara with red stitching. Despite the competition livery, this Integrale is a road car, a road that it has only ever seen once when it was delivered by the supplying dealer to its first owner where it was in perfect storage conditions for its first 22 years. We purchased the car at auction in 2019 and it has been stored in a climate controlled collection since acquiring. The car has covered a distance of only 53 kilometers from new and is supplied with its original service book, manual, and tool kit. 1992 Lancia Delta Integrale HF Turbo 5 EVO Mouse Motors LLC If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1971 Jaguar E-Type Series 3
An original UK-supplied, right-hand drive, manual gearbox V12, carefully restored in the past. A decade after the original Jaguar E-type arrived, the design progressively matured through 1971 with the introduction of the Series 3. Designed to showcase the new smooth and torquey 5.3-litre engine, originally developed for Le Mans, the Series 3 cars were available as a 'Roadster' (convertible) or a 2+2 Coupe. The Series 3 is easily identifiable by its large cross-slatted front grille, flared wheel arches, wider tyres, a larger bonnet bulge, updated bumpers, four exhaust tips and a badge on the rear that proclaims it to be a V12. It also featured uprated brakes, power steering as standard and a large horizontal scoop added to the underside of the bonnet to assist with cooling. The interior was entirely new in the V12, with more comfortable seating, stylish new door panels and a smaller dished and leather-rimmed steering wheel. Being slightly larger and altogether much softer in nature, the E-type in Series 3 form had lost the wildness of its youth but gained the long-legged touring profile, to which it was arguably better suited. On offer here is an original UK-registered, right-hand drive Series 3 Roadster finished in Opalescent Silver with red hide and a black roof, complemented by the almost obligatory set of chrome wire wheels. Rolling off the production line in December 1971, the Jaguar was initially supplied through Ritchie’s of Glasgow and first registered with the very interesting registration number ‘7R’ which unfortunately no longer remains with the vehicle, however the present private registration, PDO 94, is to remain assigned to the E-Type once sold, an attractive addition. Restored some years ago to a very high standard, the Jaguar remains in outstanding condition throughout. The exterior paintwork is almost blemish free with the interior looking as if it has been freshly retrimmed. Mechanically we understand that it runs and drives superbly, underlined by bills and invoices detailing regular care and maintenance in recent years, including detailed paperwork from Corton-Miller of Boston, Lincolnshire, classic car specialists and tuning experts. Also in the history file are older registration documents, previous MOT Certificates, and a Heritage Certificate issued in 2021, as well as the original Handbook and Passport to Service. Finished in one of the most pleasing of E-Type colour schemes and with the desirable manual gearbox, ‘ PDO 94’ is ready to enjoyed once again by its next custodian, be that at the local Classic Car Show or pressed into use as the Grand Tourer that it was always intended to be. 1971 Jaguar E-Type Series 3 Iconic Auctioneers Ltd If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1956-ferrari-250-gt-lwb-berlinetta-tour-de-france-by-scaglietti
In the annals of motor racing, a handful of significant competition models have been nicknamed for one particular example that achieved something extraordinary at an important event—think Monza or Brooklands. Not necessarily the first, or most advanced example of the model, this namesake car nevertheless attains the status of archetypal legend through its unexpected deeds. Among Ferrari’s long-wheelbase 250 GT berlinettas, no example fits that description better than the featured lot, chassis number 0557 GT. For it was this very car that won the 1956 Tour de France Auto rally, a victory so momentous that the model was henceforth known as the Tour de France, or TdF. This 250 GT Berlinetta is the ninth of 14 first-series cars and the seventh of nine that were clothed in Scaglietti’s early no-louvre coachwork. In April 1956, the car was sold to Marquis Alfonso de Portago, one of Europe’s most legendary personalities of the era. Godson to King Alfonso XIII of Spain, de Portago was a highly successful Scuderia Ferrari Works and privateer racing driver, Olympic-level athlete, as well as a well-known international playboy. In September 1956, the ravishing Ferrari was entered with race number 73 at the Tour de France Auto, where it was driven by de Portago and his friend Ed Nelson. The 2,800-kilometres event included two hillclimbs, one drag race, and six circuit races, with tracks including Le Mans, Comminges, Reims, and Montlhéry. De Portago and Nelson managed to win at five of the six circuits, taking 1st overall in the Tour and beating both Stirling Moss’s factory Mercedes-Benz 300 SL and future three-time Tour winner Olivier Gendebien’s Ferrari 250 Europa GT. Their benchmark victory forever bestowed this iteration of the 250 GT Berlinetta with the name Tour de France, which has since evolved into one of Maranello’s most hallowed heritage monikers. Three weeks later, de Portago drove the 250 GT to victory at the Coupes du Salon at Montlhéry, followed by a class win in the Rome Grand Prix, and outright victory in the Coupes USA of April 1957, marking a historic moment in that the car won every race it entered. Sadly, this would be the car’s last outing with the Marquis, as his 335 S was involved in a tragic accident a month later in the Mille Miglia in the notoriously dangerous race’s final running. Chassis number 0557 GT was then returned to the Maranello factory and sold to de Portago’s friend, C Keith Schellenberg, a shipping magnate residing in the UK. Schellenberg kept the Ferrari for over two decades, and the car was only seldom publicly seen before being offered for sale in 1983. This 250 GT was then purchased by enthusiast Peter Palumbo, who in turn sold the car in 1992 to esteemed marque collector Lorenzo Zambrano. During his ownership, the Berlinetta received a ground-up restoration by highly respected Ferrari restorer Bob Smith Coachworks of Gainesville, Texas. The Tour de France was exhibited frequently over the following 12 years, winning its class at the 1994 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and International Ferrari Concours d’Elegance at Monterey, California. The Berlinetta then won the Prix Blancpain Award at the Louis Vuitton Parc de Bagatelle Concours d’Elegance and a Blue Ribbon award at the 1997 Meadow Brook Concours d’Elegance. Presented again at Pebble Beach in August 2004, the Berlinetta won a 3rd-in-class award before taking a Platinum trophy at the FCA International Concours. Following Mr Zambrano’s passing in May 2014, this exquisite and historically important 250 GT was offered for sale in August 2015, its first availability in 23 years. Purchased then by the consigning owner, the Ferrari has spent most of the last 10 years in controlled storage. In preparation for the current offering, the TdF was submitted to Ferrari Classiche for certification, where it has now been pronounced to remain extremely original, retaining its original matching-numbers engine, gearbox, rear axle, and bodywork, gaining Ferrari Classiche certification in January 2026. Delighted to revisit one of its most historically important thoroughbreds, Ferrari invited the car to be exhibited at the Ferrari Finali Mondiali races at Mugello in October 2025. Undoubtedly the most important of all the 250 GT Tour de France examples, this long-wheelbase Berlinetta should attract top-tier Ferrari collectors and connoisseurs worldwide, sure to crown the most significant collections. Chassis 0557 GT is the only known Ferrari to take victory in every race it entered in period, win a 1st-in-class at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, and remain extremely original today. Furthermore, this very TdF gave the model its iconic nickname with its stunning victory in September 1956, a model name so important that it has been passed down to the highly popular modern limited production F12 TdF, making it a valuable foundation of Ferrari lore. The opportunity to own the very best example of any particular make or model rarely comes along and the most discerning collectors always take advantage to add the very best to their collection whenever possible. Make no mistake, this is a singular opportunity to purchase a Prancing Horse of nearly unparalleled importance. Throughout Ferrari’s rich history, this exact chassis is the only known car to single-handedly change the name of its own model range following a monumental victory in the period’s most challenging race. It has rightfully claimed its place among the greatest of all Ferraris to leave Maranello. 1956 Ferrari 250 GT LWB Berlinetta 'Tour de France' by Scaglietti RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer.
