- 1981 Audi Quattro
This 1981 Audi Quattro is a first-year build that has been kept to an exceptionally high level. Finished in Diamond Silver Metallic, this Quattro shows just 85,044 km on the odometer and has recently come out of long-term storage. The Quattro is immediately identifiable over its front-wheel drive Coupe GT brother thanks to its stunning box flared fenders and subtle rear wing. The paint and bodywork around this car is in fantastic condition and comes complete with the extremely period graphics along the lower door of the Audi logo with fading rings. Open the door, and a sea of velour greets you with a unique pattern imprinted on it– a combination of vertical stripes of brown and cream paired with diagonal zebra stripes covering the seats, doors, and headlining. Although this may not sound especially attractive to some, it works well with the rest of the car and is truly evocative of the period in which it was built. Sitting in front of the driver is a 4-spoke steering wheel with “Turbo” emblazoned in the center, and sitting behind it, a gauge cluster with the all-important turbo boost gauge sitting right in the middle. In addition to the HVAC controls, the center stack is equipped with a Blaupunkt Canberra cassette player and, below that, a knob to lock the differentials with individual lights for the front and rear. Powering the Quattro is a 2.1 liter inline-5, with the addition of a turbocharger and intercooler for a power bump. This means 197 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque from just 3,500 rpm and a 0-100 km/h sprint of just 7.1 seconds. With a top speed of over 220 km/h, the Quattro was in a similar league to the contemporary 911 SC, but that performance was achieved very differently. Power was sent through a 5-speed manual gearbox to a full-time 4-wheel drive system- with switchable differential locks both front and rear. After being used sparingly for 15 years, this car was subject to a thorough mechanical reconditioning which included a complete engine overhaul, a new turbocharger, new suspension, and new brakes. Opening the hood, the engine bay is in exceptional condition and it is hard to believe the car is more than 40 years old. By modern car standards, the Quattro won’t blow you away with its speed. Still, the overall package is remarkably cohesive and, on a sweeping B-road, instills great confidence in the driver. Before you know it, you are attacking corners at a remarkable pace while listening to that inline-5 growl emanating from the rear. Produced until 1991, only 11,452 units were produced, and due to the car’s mastery of wet and snowy weather, many have been lost over the years to rust or accidents. For decades, Audi separated itself from other luxury manufacturers thanks to its innovative all-wheel drive system, if you want to experience where that all came from- this Quattro is the perfect car to do just that. 1981 Audi Quattro JamesEdition B.V. - 1973 Ford Escort Mk1 RS2000
Sourced on behalf of our vendor by marque specialist, Tony Collins of Car and Classic Restorations in Herne Bay, this Mk1 RS2000 was known to be exceptionally original but needed restoration after years of slumbering in storage. In 2019, it began an absolutely no-compromise restoration, with the emphasis on creating a car as close to original-spec as is possible Using the car’s original parts and NOS components, when necessary, but never conceding on it being ‘just right’ – it was a real labour of love, with our vendor assisted by one of the foremost Ford experts/collectors in the UK The bodyshell was dipped and then expertly repaired where necessary, before being sent to a specialist e-coating company. The engine was sent to David Moore Engineering for a complete rebuild, again utilising all original parts where required and the gearbox and rear axle were sent to Copthorne Classics, where both were rebuilt, again with original componentry. The interior was expertly restored back to its former glory by Mark Webber of M&K Auto Upholstery The car was 90% complete by June 2024 when it was finished off and made ready for the road by Dave Brooks of DBRS and again by Copthorne Classics. The file contains dozens of photographs documenting every stage of its transformation with the quality of the work appearing quite exceptional One of the most exacting restorations we have ever seen and surely the best available. The investment of time, skill and money has been sizeable – the latter well exceeding £100,000. It's been a real dilemma for our vendor to ‘let it go’, but a change in circumstance has forced his hand; he would dearly love it to go to a fellow true Ford enthusiast, because he has loved the journey with this car and really wants someone to enjoy owning and driving it in years ahead 1973 Ford Escort Mk1 RS2000 Iconic Auctioneers Ltd If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. Lister Jaguar Knobbly – The little English car with big teeth In the late 1950s, the world of motor racing was dominated by giants such as Ferrari, Maserati and Aston Martin. However, in a small workshop in Cambridge, a craftsman named Brian Lister had a bold dream: to beat the big names at their own game, with much more modest resources. The beginnings – A craftsman takes on the giants Brian Lister, the son of an industrialist, developed a passion for mechanics at an early age. After building a few prototypes with MG and Bristol engines, he realised that he needed a more powerful engine to compete with the big names in the Sports category. That's where Jaguar came in. The Coventry-based brand, fresh from its victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the Type D, agreed to supply Lister with its legendary XK six-cylinder engine. The combination was explosive: an ultra-light tubular chassis, aerodynamic bodywork designed by Frank Costin, and a reliable, powerful engine. In 1957, the Lister Jaguar Knobbly was born. ‘Knobbly’, an affectionate nickname Its name was not official. In the paddocks, people began to talk about this ‘bumpy’ Lister because of its rounded shape and prominent wings. The bumps on the bonnet and around the wheels were not there for style: they covered the suspension and mechanics, designed solely for aerodynamic and mechanical efficiency. The nickname ‘Knobbly’ would remain forever. A dazzling track record In 1958, the Lister Knobbly established itself as the ultimate weapon in sports car racing in the United Kingdom. Archie Scott Brown, a driver of exceptional talent despite his physical disability, won race after race with this machine. He racked up victories in England and impressed on the continent. Other big names took the wheel: Masten Gregory, Stirling Moss, Ivor Bueb, Innes Ireland... All praised its precise steering, powerful engine and stability in corners. On many British circuits, the Knobbly was virtually unbeatable. Tragedy and a turning point However, the glory was overshadowed by tragedy. In May 1958, during a race at Spa-Francorchamps, Archie Scott Brown lost his life in an accident. This tragedy deeply affected Brian Lister, who lost his star driver and friend. Although the team continued to enter its cars in races, the momentum was broken. In 1959, the regulations changed and the competition became tougher. Lister tried to adapt with an even more streamlined bodywork (the ‘Costin’ model), but costs rose. At the end of 1959, the adventure in official competition came to an end. Undimmed glory Even though it was no longer on the official starting grid, the Knobbly never fell into oblivion. Collectors preserved a few examples, aware that they owned a piece of history. Each car, often hand-built and slightly different, became a cult object. The comeback – Renaissance of the Knobbly In the 1990s, enthusiasm for historic racing exploded. The Lister Knobbly reappeared on the circuits at events such as the Goodwood Revival and Le Mans Classic. The public rediscovered their unique silhouette, their throaty roar and their feline agility. In response to this enthusiasm, Lister Cars decided in 2014 to restart production. Ten ‘continuation cars’ were built according to the original plans, templates and methods: tubular chassis, hand-hammered aluminium bodywork, tuned Jaguar XK engine. Even the sound is faithful to that of 1958. A legend that lives on Today, whether it's an original model or an official continuation, the Lister Knobbly continues to race. It can be seen battling wheel to wheel with Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa, Maserati 300S and Aston Martin DBR1 cars, as if time had stood still. For the drivers lucky enough to drive it, it's a raw experience: no electronic assistance, no compromises, just pure mechanics and talent behind the wheel. It's a lesson in old-school driving, where every corner is earned through sweat and precision. The Lister Jaguar Knobbly is more than a car: it's a symbol. A symbol of British audacity in the face of the big manufacturers, a symbol of a golden age of motor racing when creativity and courage could beat financial resources. And as long as we see it emerge from a cloud of dust when braking at Woodcote or roar into the night at Le Mans Classic, we will know that this little English car with big teeth has never really left racing. Lister Jaguar BHL 20 – 442 PPP A survivor with an unbroken history Among the few Listers produced between 1954 and 1959, the BHL 20 chassis occupies a unique place. Part of the latest generation of ‘little Listers’, it was sold bare in 1959 to officer James MacKreth and was initially fitted with MG mechanics and registered as 442 PPP on 7 October 1960. Three years later, its destiny changed: David A. Knobbs replaced the modest MG engine with a 3.4-litre Jaguar six-cylinder, entrusting the chassis's transformation to tuner Ken Eaton. Under his expert hands, BHL 20 shed its frail appearance to become a true Lister Knobbly Jaguar, ready to compete with the big boys. on soon left its mark on the bodywork: in the late 1960s, a crash seriously damaged the car, which was temporarily taken out of service. But in 1974, Jeremy Broad, a well-known figure in Jaguar XK circles, undertook its resurrection. Entrusted once again to Ken Eaton, it was fitted with a 3.8-litre Jaguar E-Type engine and returned to the racetrack. In 1976, during the Prescott Hillclimb, bad luck struck again: Broad crashed into a tree, severely bending the chassis. This long enforced hiatus, punctuated by a succession of bodyworks – some dubious, others authentic Williams & Pritchard – never altered the car's continuity. The arrival of a genuine factory body, revealing the original colours beneath the paint, definitively anchored BHL 20 in its identity. In 2005, Broad finally sold the car to Trevor Groom, a close friend of Norman Dewis and a well-known figure in Jaguar racing circles, who meticulously restored it to its ultimate configuration: a Lister Jaguar Knobbly, with its original chassis, authentic components (tanks, Girling brakes, Dunlop wheels, dashboard) and official papers, including the precious original ‘buff log book’. It then changed hands and was brought to France by us, where it had several owners, all of whom entered it in Le Mans Classic, among other events. The last owner undertook a meticulous restoration of the bodywork to revive its shape and give it the shine it has today. Fully serviced before Le Mans Classic 2025, it is ready to take to the track. Today, BHL 20 is unanimously recognised as the only chassis legitimately bearing this number, its history having been confirmed by Doug Nye himself and clarified in the face of confusion by certain authors. It is a regular feature at the most prestigious historic events: Le Mans Classic, the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, and FIA championships dedicated to 1950s sports prototypes. An unquestionable pedigree Original BHL 20 chassis with registration number 442 PPP Jaguar conversion by Ken Eaton in 1963 Successive owners: James MacKreth, David A. Knobbs, John Harper, Jeremy Broad, Trevor Groom, current one in France. Significant accidents and documented reconstructions (late 1960s, Prescott 1976) Knobbly bodywork by Williams & Pritchard with traces of factory paint Period documents (log book, modern V5C, FIA/MSA passport) Regular presence at major historic events Conclusion The Lister Jaguar Knobbly is more than a car: it is a symbol. A symbol of British audacity in the face of the big manufacturers, a symbol of a golden age of motor racing when creativity and courage could beat financial resources. 1959 Jaguar Lister Knobbly Historic Cars If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1955 Lancia B24S Spider America by Pinin Farina
Introduced at the 1955 Brussels Motor Show, the Lancia Aurelia B24S Spider America employed a sporting chassis more than 200 millimetres shorter than the standard fourth-series B20 GT on which it was based. The B24S received most of the Aurelia’s advanced mechanical components, including front independent suspension, inboard rear brakes, a four-speed transaxle, and the jewel-like aluminium engine generally considered to be the world’s first production V-6. Pinin Farina’s open coachwork abounded in expressive design cues like the one-piece wraparound windscreen, split front bumperettes, cut-down doors, and voluptuous body curves. According to a Lancia production record on file, chassis number 1086 was completed in June 1955, finished in Grigio paint over an interior trimmed in red leather. An ACI estratto cronologico clarifies that the Aurelia passed through a modest chain of Italian owners until January 1993, when it was purchased by the respected collector, Pier Luigi Chiesa of Biella. More recently sold to the consignor, an enthusiast residing in Italy, the Lancia was entrusted in February 2022 to Stefano Coratelli, a Swiss restoration specialist. The B24S then underwent a thorough refurbishment that included a complete rebuild of the gearbox, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, and ancillary engine components. The engine itself was deemed to have been recently rebuilt, but this work was supplemented with further sympathetic attention, and the entire engine compartment was fastidiously detailed. The coachwork was refinished in the proper original shade of Grigio while the interior was expertly retrimmed in rossa leather. Retaining its matching-numbers engine, this beautifully restored Spider America should encounter a warm welcome at regional concours d’elegance, and it is eligible for numerous vintage driving events, including the Mille Miglia Storica. For Lancia collectors or enthusiasts of the great coachbuilt Italian spiders of the 1950s, there could hardly be a more appealing prospect than the availability of this exquisite B24S. 1955 Lancia B24S Spider America by Pinin Farina RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1995-ferrari-456-gt-1
When first introduced in the early 90’s the 456 was the fastest production four-seater in the world, a great combination of power and comfort yet with the Pininfarina’s sublime styling still kept the looks of a two-seater sports car. Powered by a relatively un-stressed 5. 5 Litre V12 provided close to 450 bhp enough to propel it to around 190 mph. One of only 141 right hand drive models built his exceptional example was supplied via Maranello Concessionaires in January 1995 to none other than Pete Townshend, multi-instrumentalist, and the driving force behind the legendary rock band, The Who. Townshend enjoyed the 456 for several years until passing to the second owner, P W Evans in 1999. The history file has extensive records of regular servicing and maintenance with the car looked after by marque specialists. Following a near 16-year ownership, the 456 was subsequently bought by the present owner in 2017. At this point, the mileage was just under 50000. Since then, despite being used only sparingly, it has continued to be looked after regardless of cost and is in excellent condition throughout. Finished in its original and highly desirable colour combination of gun metal with black leather interior, this understated and refined tourer covers the distance in an effortless fashion. Complete with fitted luggage and leather wallet. What is also noteworthy is that there are very few Ferraris nowadays that can be bought for less than their list price when new. This seems an anomaly with 456’s generally but especially this car that has been the subject of such lavish expenditure over its life. 1995 Ferrari 456 GT Will Stone Historic Cars Ltd If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1983 Ferrari 308 GTS Quattrovalvole
With ongoing success in racing, the rapidly growing Ferrari brand, and the challenging loss of Dino Ferrari, it was not easy for Ferrari to change sports car paradigms in 1975. Though the mid-engine Dino had made significant impact in new markets, the next step was a bold move for Ferrari. Amidst the otherwise dull automotive offerings of the period, the Pininfarina designed Ferrari 308 debuted at the 1975 Paris Auto Show to enthusiastic acclaim. Ferrari delivered a refreshing approach via designer Leonardo Fioravanti, who had penned many of Ferrari's most celebrated cars including the Daytona, the Dino, and the Berlinetta Boxer. Within a short period of time, the 308 quickly becoming a fixture of television shows, movies, and advertising posters, while shaping public opinion about what a sports car should look and feel like. Although initially limited to a fixed roof configuration, the GTS arrived in 1977, featuring a rigid removable black roof panel, which could be stowed in a vinyl cover behind the seats. In 1980, the 308 was updated with fuel-injection which allowed for better emissions yet compromised performance with a loss of power, delivering only 202 hp on US models. Ferrari set about developing a solution to the output challenge in 1982 launching the Quattrovalvole. This four-valve per cylinder engine resulted in 232 hp output without compromising emission requirements for the all-important US market. Exterior body changes were minor, including a new grille sporting rectangular driving lights on each outboard side, a longitudinal hood vent to aid in evacuating warm air, and rectangular front side marker lights. Limited in production, while blending the best of the early series 308 with a more potent engine, the 308 QV has since become more and more sought after by enthusiasts who seek low mile examples that can be driven with confidence while also participating in concours and Ferrari club events. This multiple award-winning and beautifully preserved Ferrari 308 Quattrovalvole GTS was prepared and delivered for US sale to Walnut Creek Ferrari, Walnut Creek CA. According to the purchase invoice included with the car, the first owner took delivery August 28, 1983, including an AM/FM stereo tape unit and car cover. The first owner was meticulous about both his care and service efforts for the car documenting all services as shown in the chronologically sorted three ring binders of service invoice copies retained with the car. Annual services performed by the selling dealer included fluids, belts, etc. through 1989 when the car was stored with 11,606 miles. In 2002 the car was sold to the second owner, a resident of Los Angeles, CA. At the time of purchase, 12,002 miles were indicated. That same year, Prancing Horse in Burlingame, CA performed a 30k mile service including timing belt, new tires, water pump and coolant hoses. In 2006 the third owner, a resident of Sunnyvale, CA purchased the car with 14,626 miles indicated. Both mechanical and light cosmetic work continued with various vendors including The Pit Stop, Brisbane, CA and Coppa Bella, Seaside, CA who performed a major belt service, installed new rear brake calipers, and charged the AC system at 20,787 miles in 2012. In 2016 new tires were installed at 24,520 miles shortly before the current owner purchases the car in 2017. The current and fourth owner purchased this Ferrari in 2017 with 24,512 miles indicated. Prancing Horse performed a 30k mile service that same year including a new timing belt, valve adjustment, new drive belt, and water pump rebuild. The car continued to pass California emissions tests as accumulating miles were kept to a minimum with annual oil and filter changes and the most recent emissions test with passing results achieved in September 2023. In addition to the consistent service history and enthusiast care, under the decade of third ownership, this car has been judged and exhibited at numerous Concours events achieving 10 1st place wins, 6 Platinum Awards, attended several Ferrari Club of America events, participated in numerous driving events, and auto show displays including Concorso Italiano, Hillsborough Concours, Danville Concours, Palo Alto Concours, and the 2015 International Ferrari Meet where it won both the Platinum Award for its class and a Platinum Preservation Award. Given these significant credentials, platinum awards, and spectacular original presentation, it would be hard to find another example combining the history of awards, low miles, and Quattrovalvole GTS designation. Today, showing just 25,776 miles, this beautifully preserved Ferrari presents as a wonderful original example throughout. The original paint is in excellent condition with high luster and great gloss to the Rosso Corsa finish applied at the factory. The factory paint has been confirmed by the 4-7 micron readings achieved when metering the majority of the body surfaces. Under prior ownership, the hood was removed, and a small paint crack repaired, and paint work performed to the frontal area of the hood. The hood and trunk open and shut smoothly, displaying very nice fit with even panel gaps. Doors also open and shut without issue. The black trim remains in excellent condition with no major flaws or notable warpage due to excessive heat exposure. The removable roof panel and distinctive upper rear spoiler are in excellent condition with no marks or flaws of note. The glass appears to be original and in excellent condition as are the various window gaskets, black trim for the side vents and engine cover. The Ferrari emblems and badges are in excellent condition throughout the car, and the lenses and lighting remarkably as new, further supporting the superb preservation and low mile accumulation this car has enjoyed since new. The car wears a set of correct original 8x16 wheels with contemporary Michelin Pilot Sport 225/50 ZR16 tires. Inside the car, the tan leather interior has been remarkably preserved benefiting from thoughtful application of protective treatments to maintain the look and feel that only properly preserved original materials can offer. Once seated inside, the seats are comfortable and the leather still soft and supple, with a comfortable feel. The interior finishes are very nicely preserved including the tan covered center console, black dashboard, and door panels. Carpeting is in keeping with the miles shown, with no significant signs of wear. Instruments and steering wheel are in excellent condition with no fading or unusual wear. The removable top removes and attaches easily, stowing in the factory case behind the seats, making for both open and closed cockpit driving without the hassle of a folding convertible top. The trunk compartment is also in excellent condition with original black carpeting, a taut black zipper liner, smoothly opening and closing access to the compartment. The engine compartment has benefited from timing belt service performed approximately 500 miles ago when all fluids were serviced and changed while the engine was out. The engine and surrounding compartment remain original without significant modifications and excellent finishes to the supporting components reflective of the multiple Platinum Awards this car has received. The matching red intake plenum sits atop the 32-valve V8, boasting the added horsepower offered in the QV configuration. The handsome cast aluminum heads deliver all the visual engagement of a finely preserved Ferrari showing only modest amounts of patina since offered new. Factory finishes and original data plates, coded labels, and warning information items remain in place. The original spare tire mounted to the factory rim sits snugly inside the front tub, which appears in excellent condition showing no cracks or excessive scratches as is often seen in cars with more accumulated miles. The underside of the car is tidy, clean, and reflective of the indicated miles. The car starts easily, idling smoothly and evenly in part due to the recent service and careful considerations given to the preserved systems. Driving this 308 one is reminded of how much the Quattrovalvole improved power delivery especially when compared to nearly any other 308 in the series. This 308 GTS QV is not only impressive for the power and smooth delivery via fuel injection, but it also delivers a well-balanced chassis, via improved suspension, 16” wheels, and of course open coachwork without compromising structural rigidity. Power comes on strong especially in the higher rev range and shifting is very comfortable via the 5-speed gated shifter and tall clutch pedal. Braking is quite good even when coming down from high speeds. Most impressively, the 32-valve engine delivers expressive power and great range without the fussiness often presented with carbureted cars. The car is accompanied by a factory tool roll, tools, jack and case, owner’s embroidered fabric and leather folio with manual and service booklet, and two binders with service information, original California pink slip, original window sticker, original purchase invoice, numerous service records from current and prior owners, and car show event placards all sorted chronologically in the two binders. Ready to offer the next fortunate enthusiast an enjoyable ownership experience of power and performance, this desirable and very original Ferrari 308 Quattrovalvole GTS has benefited from thoughtful preservation and consummate care throughout its coveted life. Celebrated with multiple Platinum Awards from Ferrari expert judges, the combined Pininfarina design and Quattrovalvole driving experience is beautifully represented in this exceptional original 308. 1983 Ferrari 308 GTS Quattrovalvole Fantasy Junction If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. - 1954 Alfa Romeo 1900C SS
First registration 06.1954 Swiss delivery Swiss road registration with veteran entry Alfa Romeo 1900 C Super Sprint – short and sweet, elegant and fast. The rare Alfa Romeo 1900 CSS offered here is a series II. The car was over 23 years in the last and before that 32 years in the same ownership. This beautiful Super Sprint was fully restored a few years ago at the last owner including engine and body very elaborately. A photo documentation testifies to the various works. The vehicle is a Swiss delivery and veteran-approved. It is in exceptional, top maintained collector condition. Between 1951 and 1958, Carrozzeria Touring produced a coupe based on the shortened chassis of the Alfa Romeo 1900, first called Sprint, then Super Sprint. These cars were given the abbreviation 1900C for corto (short wheelbase) and the suffix S or SS. With the model change to the Super version, the models were revised and therefore a distinction was made between a first and a second series. Despite the low number of cylinders compared to the competition, the elegant coupé was able to compete in the market with the greats of the time from Fiat (8V), Lancia (Aurelia B20 GT), Jaguar (XK 140) or Porsche (356). However, it was almost as expensive as a 300 SL and therefore remained rare. 1954 Alfa Romeo 1900C SS Lutziger Classic Cars AG If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. The notice and take down procedure is described here: https://www.speedholics.com/copyright First registration 06.1954 Swiss delivery Swiss road registration with veteran entry Alfa Romeo 1900 C Super Sprint – short and sweet, elegant and fast. - 1992-porsche-911-carrera-rs
The Porsche 911 Carrera RS (964) remains one of the purest expressions of RennSport ever built, a car that perfectly bridges Porsche’s motorsport heritage and its road-going legacy. Initially developed for the N/GT racing group, the 964 RS distilled everything Porsche had learned on the track into a lighter, sharper, and more focused 911 for the most discerning drivers. Produced in limited numbers and often referred to as the RS 92, it became an instant icon, admired for its precision, mechanical honesty, and raw connection to the road. With its reduced weight, refined chassis, and naturally aspirated 3.6-litre flat-six engine producing 256 hp, it delivers a driving experience that remains utterly addictive more than three decades later. This particular example, finished in the elegant and sportive Polar Grey with a black leather interior, is a beautifully preserved car showing only 46,000 km from new. Delivered new in Italy in December 1992, it remained with its first Italian owner until 2001, then with a second Italian owner until 2008, before being imported into Belgium. The current Belgian owner, a passionate collector, purchased the car in 2013 and has kept it ever since in his private collection. The RS was never registered in Belgium and has been carefully stored in a dry garage, ensuring its very good state of preservation. Accompanied by its original and fully stamped service book, certificate of conformity, and recently fitted with new tyres (2025), this 964 RS stands as a wonderful opportunity to acquire a highly original, low-mileage example of one of the most iconic air-cooled 911s. For the true enthusiast or collector, it represents more than just a car — it’s a pure celebration of Porsche’s racing spirit and engineering mastery. 1992 Porsche 911 Carrera RS AD Sportscars If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. The first Porsche 944 S2 convertibles were marketed in September 1989. It was a 4-seater convertible equipped with the fabulous 3.0 l 16 S engine of the Porsche 944 S2 and which delivered the same power of 211 HP. The absence of a side rear window and the new rear section has literally changed the character of the line compared to that of the Porsche 944. Seen from the back, it appears lower, wider, and even sportier than the Porsche 944. This specific 944 S2 Cabriolet was acquired by its current Belgian owner in June 2018 and has an Oldtimer registration. The accompanying car pass shows that the Porsche has been registered in Belgium since 2005. It is featured in a beautiful Indian Red color with a black soft hood. The paint is in good condition. The electric soft top opening system allows the driver to open or close the roof while sitting. Simply manually unlock/lock the closures. With the soft top open, the Porsche 944 S2 convertible provides immense pleasure while offering a rare comfort for a convertible car thanks to its windbreaker that reduces drafts and limits wind noise. This vehicle is sold in consignment. It was ordered new with the following options: 328 RADIO BLAUPUNKT SYMPHONY SQR 49 (replaced by Pioneer model) 454 AUTOMATIC SPEED CONTROL 526 Fabric Door Panels 666 Phone Module Overall, this 944 S2 is in good aesthetic condition and drives well.
