Equipment 2-speed Powerglide automatic transmission Whitewall tires Metallic paint finish Cassette radio Removable side windows with storage pouch Fabric soft top Description The first generation of the Chevrolet Corvette – internally designated as the C1 – was introduced in 1953, marking the beginning of America’s most iconic sports car. With its fiberglass-reinforced body, chrome accents, and distinctive front grille, it set new design standards. The 150 hp inline-six engine delivered solid performance. Only 3,640 units were built in 1954, making this early model especially desirable. The C1 is not only a design icon but also a sought-after collector’s item with strong value appreciation. About the car This 1954 Corvette C1 is in an exceptionally original and near-untouched condition. The factory paintwork has been preserved with a protective clear coat to maintain its integrity. According to documentation, the car remained with its first owner, a lady from Ohio, until 1993. It then spent over 10 years as a display piece in a German collection. Automotive journalist Frank Sander once described it aptly as: “A pretty sexy rear end, with details you won’t find anywhere else today.” A true rarity in a tasteful color combination and in authentic “time warp” condition. 1954 Chevrolet Corvette C1 Thiesen Hamburg GmbH If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1958 Jaguar XK150

The Jaguar XK150 was introduced in the spring of 1957, as a replacement for the XK140 and was available as a fixed and drophead coupe. Whilst the 150 was similar in design to the outgoing model it was considerably more refined. A one-piece windscreen replaced the split screen and the wing line no longer dropped as much over the doors. The bonnet was widened, opened down to the wings and on the roadster, the bulkhead was moved back four inches to make the bonnet longer. In the interior, the XK140’s walnut dashboard was replaced by a leather trimmed unit. The launch specification of the XK 150 included SU carburettors, four-speed manual gearbox with overdrive, independent front suspension with wishbones, coil springs, torsion bars and anti-roll bar, rigid rear axle with semi-elliptic leaf springs, and four-wheel hydraulic disc brakes. Jaguar increased the engine power outputs and introduced the optional 150 “SE” variant, with the 3.4 SE developing 210 bhp enabling it to reach 60mph in just over 8 secs and onto a top speed of just over 130 mph. The Jaguar XK150 ‘SE”’ 3.4 Fixed Head Coupe offered here at Autostorico is finished in its original colour of Cotswold Blue with Grey leather interior. Having left the factory on 22nd April 1958, Chassis No: 824375 was supplied to its first owner via Henlys London and registered as 999 CAE. Passing through several owners during its earlier years it’s been well maintained with considerable documented history finally passing to its current owner a jaguar enthusiast in 2021. He undertook a no expense spared body off nut and bolt restoration carried out by marque specialist Ruston Engineering Ltd. Works included removing the engine, gearbox and stripping the whole body, before a bare metal respray. The car was also subject to a full mechanical overhaul including a complete engine rebuild. Other notable works included full re-wire, full interior re-trim including carpets, replace front and rear wheel bearings along with suspension bushes and joints, Brake overhaul and fitting new tyres. The car comes complete with an extensive history file including a current V5 registration document, heritage certificate and numerous invoices. 1958 Jaguar XK150 Autostorico Partners LLP If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1957-porsche-356-emory-special

Over a 15 year production period at the Porsche Zuffenhausen factory, the 356 evolved from an aluminium bodied coupe with a 1.1L air-cooled flat four engine, into a four-cam 2.0L Carrera available in both coupe and speedster configurations. The 356 "B" was introduced in 1960 and continued production until 1963 with a host of both cosmetic and mechanical improvements. To comply with US specifications the front and rear bumpers were raised as well as raising the headlight height. Inside a new deep-dish steering wheel could be seen and to improve comfort new deeper front seats were installed. In addition to upgraded brakes, the biggest improvement came with the introduction of the Type 616/7 Super 90 engine. The 1.6L engine was fully revised with a newly designed intake manifold, an uprated Solex 40 carburettor, 9.0-1 compression ratio pistons, stronger valve springs, uprated crankshaft and Carrera air filters. The original 356 and its timeless appeal was more to do with less. Introduced in 1948, it offered a lightweight, slippery body combatted the low power output. Rear-engined and rear wheel drive, it was the first Porsche production car and started the iconic shape that has stood the test of time, through the 911 to the present day. Such was the popularity of the 356 - some 76,000 were built - that over the course of the time, they have been a particular focus for owners to fettle, modify and ‘outlaw’ their cars. In fact the very term ‘Outlaw’ was given to Rod’s father Gary during the 1980s as he was first to push the boundaries of what the 356 could be. After joining the family business, the term ‘Special’ was used for only the most bespoke Emory builds. Safe to say there is a fair bit of experience in the family. Stemming from their Oregon-based workshop, this Special embraces Emory’s expertise, embracing the elegant form of the 1957 356A whilst integrating numerous upgrades. Countless details set this car apart. Emory first started work to remove the drip rails from the roofline, providing a much cleaner aesthetic. Gary’s Outlaw spirit has always been to develop 356s using the ‘best bits’. The bonnet handle was omitted and the car sees body hugging bumpers, a reverse louvred rear deck with competition hinges, a through-hood competition fuel filler and bumper mounted fog lamps. The car runs a 16” two-piece billet wheel design to help with the offset, which, in partnership with the revised geometry of the 911 rear suspension, and a two-inch cut from the top of the re-shaped wheel arches helps the car to look the part, without compromising on the ride. The side mirrors are bespoke and based on those that would have been fitted to that of a 356 GT or 550 Spyder. Both sides of the car see side vents, echoing the design of the 718 RSK; on this car the right-hand side sees the oil cooler, the left-hand side covers the installed fire system. The engine is where this car stands apart from others. In around 1962, Porsche’s chief of engineering Paul Hensler had investigated the feasibility of a 4-cylinder 911 engine and the architecture surrounding it, but there were some limitations of the single overhead-camshaft and limited internal dimensions. Whilst Porsche had never progressed with the idea, several individuals explored this concept. Chuck Beck had developed a cut-down 911 engine for his replica Speedsters but it wasn’t until the 1990s when Dean Polopolous perfected the 6-into-4 solution with his ‘Polo 4’. Re-developing the Polo 4 in house, the Emory-Rothsport ‘Outlaw-4’ is an evolution of this concept. This example sees a 2.6-litre four cylinder using the architecture from a 3.6 litre that powered the far more modern Porsche 964, everything from the pistons, rods and valve train was carried over. A bespoke crankcase and new crankshaft bring it all together and provide this 900kg car with a reliable 260hp. A full-flow oil system with remote filler and coolers is fitted and the twin coil-on-plug ignition is Motec controlled. Unlike the 356 originally, this engine is paired with a 901-sourced aluminium cased 4-speed transmission. Much like the original, it certainly wakes up in the higher rev ranges making for a truly usable and enjoyable driving experience. Braking is covered off with all-round disc brakes with a parking brake and ATE Master cylinder. To support the power, this example sees 901 independent rear suspension with custom-narrowed trailing arms, front and rear anti roll bars and PEP adjustable suspension. Presented in its commissioned specification of gloss black over Cherry leather speedster seats with two-point harnesses. This example further sees a Derrington-style steering wheel, box-weave carpeting including a rear seat delete and the 904 triple gauge dashboard paired with black knobs. Electric air conditioning is a great addition. 1957 Porsche 356 Emory 'Special' D.K. Engineering Ltd If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. The notice and take down procedure is described here: https://www.speedholics.com/copyright Over a 15 year production period at the Porsche Zuffenhausen factory, the 356 evolved from an aluminium bodied coupe with a 1.1L air-cooled flat four engine, into a four-cam 2.0L Carrera available in both coupe and speedster configurations. • 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster

In recent years, the classic car industry has become awash with specialist companies whose sole endeavour is to upgrade and improve on design classics. From 105-Series Alfa Romeos to Jaguar E-Types, modern technology is being applied to period icons in an effort to match the performance, usability, and comfort of contemporary automobiles—often to the detriment of a car’s unique character. But there is one model, perhaps above all others, that was so far advanced at the point of launch that today, after more than six decades, absolutely no improvements are necessary: the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster. Its closed sibling, the 300 SL ‘Gullwing’, pioneered a number of technological innovations that are now mainstays in the wider automobile industry, ranging from fuel injection to its lightweight tubular-frame chassis. With the launch of the 300 SL Roadster following the conclusion of Gullwing production, Mercedes-Benz continued to refine and advance the platform, setting a benchmark standard for open-topped performance cars. World-beating in period, the model remains one of the exemplary automobiles of its generation—and one whose pace, refinement, and dynamism still has the power to excite almost 70 years on. First registered in July 1957 and supplied to its native Germany, this 300 SL Roadster was originally finished in the model’s trademark Silver-Grey Metallic (DB 180G). Little is known of the car’s early history, but by 1990, it was still in Germany, in the care of Erik Schwanke of Wachterg, who commissioned a restoration in 1993. Photographs on file, dating from 1994, show the car finished in Silver-Grey over Red leather. After completion of the restoration, the car was purchased by Michael Eschmann of Gummersbach, and from 1996 to 1998, it belonged to Peter Aaray, in whose care the car received further mechanical work, including a rear axle and engine rebuild, as well as a new clutch. From 1998 until 2008, the Mercedes-Benz was owned by Wolfgang Schleinitz of Wildeshausen, who undertook a gearbox rebuild in 2006. In 2008, the 300 SL was sold to a Mr. Nikkolas Benopoulos, a collector and owner of multiple 300 SLs, and was subsequently shipped to and registered in his native Greece. After being sold by him in 2013, the car was acquired by the current owner and imported to the UK, where it remains today. Shortly after the 300 SL’s arrival in the UK, the car was entrusted to respected restorer Hilton & Moss. No strangers to Mercedes-Benz products and 300 SLs, their inspection showed that although the 1993 restoration was carried out to a good standard, further investigations revealed improper damage repairs to the rear section of the car and other minor flaws. As a result, the car was stripped to bare metal and fully restored to return it to as-new condition—a restoration that would involve some 3,500 hours of labour. It was decided the car would be finished in the period-correct colour scheme of Anthracite Grey (DB 172) over a contrasting Red leather interior, making for a more unusual and alluring colour combination. During the restoration, it was determined that—at some point—the car had been fitted with a replacement engine of the correct type. Following the completion of the restoration, the car was shown at Salon Prive in 2017, where it was awarded second-in-class honours. Invoices on file show that the car was subject to 500 miles of shakedown testing by Hilton & Moss following the completion of the restoration in 2016, also detailing servicing by the specialist in 2017 and 2018. The 300 SL’s last service was undertaken by Martin Cushway Engineering in March 2020, considered by many to be the UK’s go-to 300 SL specialist; the car has covered just under 250 miles since. As such, it remains in truly excellent condition throughout. On the road, the 300 SL Roadster performs impeccably, with linear acceleration, smooth gear changes, and a dialled-in engine that simply purrs. Among modern traffic, it immediately becomes apparent how advanced the car is for its age, with road manners that belie its age—it is no wonder that these accomplished machines have become mainstays in large collections and favourites for long-distance touring. Not only is the car easy and engaging to drive, it is also very comfortable and quite practical, with a boot big enough for several days’ worth of luggage for two. This beautifully restored and tastefully finished 300 SL Roadster will excel at whatever its next owner has in store, all while exuding an unparalleled degree of class and sophistication. 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 2000 Ferrari 360

Highlights of This Car One of just 469 gated 6-speed Modena Coupes built for the US market Low mile example with known service history since new General History Introduced in 1999, the Ferrari 360 Modena represented the pinnacle of design and engineering at the close of the 20th century. Given the rapidly advancing technology of the new millennium, it was clear Ferrari was intent on dominating the next century. The original design was truly remarkable as it offered one of the most advanced production methods of construction combined with a newly derived V8 engine. The aluminum space frame chassis was state of the art being 40% stiffer than the F355 and yet 28% lighter. The new engine developed just under 400hp, while taking advantage of developments in advanced aerodynamics. No detail was ignored including the decision to locate the engine in a layout that no longer necessitated costly “engine out” timing belt services. The new Pininfarina design was unlike anything before, curvaceous, yet aggressive and the first to feature the now iconic clear engine cover. Fresh and innovative, the 360 delivered a distinct Ferrari look that set the standard for future generations to come. The design remained in production until 2004, the last year for the 360 series. Although Ferrari built a total of 4,199 US market Modenas, fewer than half of the production, 1,810, were coupes, 469 of which were outfitted with the highly desirable 6-speed manual transmission. History of this Example According to the owner’s manual accompanying this car, this 360 Modena was delivered to factory authorized Ferrari dealer, Shelton Sports Cars, Fort Lauderdale, FL on July 21, 2000. Beginning with service entries in the original Ferrari Owner’s book, in 2003, service was performed at 370 miles. Consecutively accumulated miles subsequently accrued with owners in Ohio, Nevada, then finally residing in California in 2007 where the car was serviced first at “The Gallery” and then at Ferrari Beverly Hills Service Center beginning with a 10K service at 6,618 miles, followed by three further annual services at authorized Ferrari Beverly Hills Service Center in 2010 with 8,387 miles, 2011 with 8,952 miles and 2013 with 10,283. Service invoices accompanying the car indicate annual prescribed service intervals to change all engine fluids, coolant, brake fluid, and filter changes. The first timing belt service was performed at 8,952 miles (2011). A new left window power regulator installed in 2013 along with brake and suspension inspections performed per recommended annual services. In 2015, the current owner purchased the car with 12,025 miles as indicated on the clean California title. Before finalizing the purchase, a detailed pre-purchase inspection was conducted by specialists at San Francisco Ferrari, resulting in a favorable assessment. After purchase, a timing belt service was performed by Geoff Provo at GP Enterprises which included a photographic record of service including removing and replacing all cam seals and cam cover gaskets, all fluids exchanged, a new cam crossover breather pipe, and a compression test with the following numbers recorded on the service invoice: 1-195, 2-205, 3-195, 4-190, 5-195, 6-200, 7-190, 8-190 Also in 2015, the current owner elected to replace the formerly fitted aftermarket Capristo muffler with a correct 360 muffler. The sloping windshield, see-through engine cover, race inspired features, and stunning profile create a dramatic and memorable appearance to this beautiful Modena. The glass, lighting, and lenses are in excellent condition as are the emblems and Ferrari script. The body panels display excellent fit throughout with tight closures including the front and rear bumper caps which are smoothly fit to the body lines. All other interior surfaces including the center console, door panels, visors, and A-pillars are exemplary in presentation. The engine and engine compartment are clean and correct featuring textured red cast-alloy engine intake plenums and properly finished structural components. The underside of the car shows only minimal signs of use with just a few minor scuff marks typically found on the aerodynamic panels that divert airflow to various areas of the car. There is no evidence of structural compromise to the chassis or any of the suspension components. The car starts, drives, and shifts smoothly in all gears. The manual gearbox is perfectly positioned and there is ample comfort in the cockpit even for larger frame drivers. Power delivery is sharp and exhilarating from the near 400 hp engine. Though newer cars boast higher horsepower ratings, the 360 6-speed manual combination delivers an ideal blend of power to joy ratio when driving. Road manners are comfortable under general conditions, but when prompted, deliver delightful launches up to highway speeds and ear to ear grins when carving mountain roads. The Modena delivers superb braking and handling which is no surprise given these cars were derived and developed by leaders in Formula 1 technology. The notice and take down procedure is described here: https://www.speedholics.com/copyright Highlights of This Car One of just 469 gated 6-speed Modena Coupes built for the US market Low mile example with known service history since new General History Introduced in 1999, the Ferrari 360 Modena represented the pinnacle of design and engineering at the close of the 20th century. Services continued in 2018 with fluid exchanges at 18,367 miles (2018), a new water pump with upgraded hose clamps, new right side sway bar link, and flush/bleed for the brake and clutch fluids. In 2022, with 20,800 miles, a set of Pirelli P Zero tires were installed, new front brake pads installed, annual service performed, coolant system flushed, cabin filters replaced, and clutch/brake fluids flushed and bled with clutch adjustment. • 1988 BMW M3 (E30) Evo II

Unveiled at the 1985 Frankfurt Motor Show, the M3 was the latest creation from BMW’s legendary Motorsport division, a focused small performance saloon built to homologate the E30 3-Series for the European Touring Car Championship. Using what was essentially the 24-valve head from the M-Sport straight-six – minus two cylinders – mated to the block of the four-cylinder M10 engine, the M3’s engine developed an impressive 195 bhp from 2.3-litres. Throw in a Getrag close-ratio, five-speed gearbox, firmer suspension and additional downforce from the aerodynamic aids and you have a car that rewards the driver in the best race bred tradition. The discreet front air dam, rear spoiler, flared guards, and fatter rubber sitting on wider, unique alloy wheels helped set the M3 apart from the ordinary 3-Series – indeed, the entire body was unique to the M-Sport version apart from the bonnet, roof panel, sunroof and doors. To homologate further updates, BMW released the Evolution II version of the road-going M3 in 1987, incorporating upgrades to the engine (new high-compression pistons, lightened flywheel and a remapped management system boosting power to 220bhp) along with improvements to the chassis and suspension. Boasting a deeper front air-dam and an additional boot lid spoiler, just 500 numbered examples were produced. Regarded as one of the greatest drivers’ cars of the era, the E30 M3 enjoyed a fabulous motorsport career and, thanks to its motorsport heritage and place in M-Sport history, original E30 M3s have seen a stratospheric increase in value over the past decade, the best examples being eagerly snapped up by enthusiasts and collectors around the world. Delivered new to Europe, and living the majority of its life in France, this matching numbers Evo II was imported to the UK in 2019 and shows no former UK keepers. Finished in its original colour scheme of Macao Blue metallic over a Silver Uberkaro cloth interior, the car presents exceptionally well. We understand that it was repainted and recommissioned around 2007-2009 with the respray and maintenance work clearly being conducted to a very high standard. Within the history file, there is a good selection of bills from its time in France, Original Service/Dealer Directory, Owners Handbook, Owners Manual (in French), and Service Book sporadically stamped up to 166,670km. There are 3 Autovision technical inspection reports that were conducted in 2007, 2009 and 2011, with the mileage in 2011 being recorded at 176,670km showing the car to have covered less than 600km in the last 11 years, now displaying 177,256km. A delightfully original car with the only modifications being a stainless-steel exhaust system and a new head unit. With many E30 M3s being rightfully used as daily drivers back in the day, it's rare to find such an example with reasonable mileage, in such fabulous condition and with a very desirable specification. We welcome and encourage your inspection of this lovely M3. 1988 BMW M3 (E30) Evo II Iconic Auctioneers Ltd If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1963 Shelby 289 Cobra

A wholesome and strong performing example of the legendary Shelby 289 Cobra. Converted to rack & pinion steering. Since its 1963 release into the world of performance racing, the mystique around the Cobra has grown among collectors and enthusiasts, spawning modern iterations, tributes, and replicas. And while many of those cars have earned an enjoyable place in many a garage, the original 289 Cobra is and will always be the one that started it all. In 1961 Carroll Shelby assembled an AC Ace powered with a Ford 260 V8 engine. American power had been transplanted in European cars, but Shelby found the sweet spot. The new offering became both an immediate success and a media darling, featured in songs, movies, and races all over the world. Car magazines loved the combined performance of the Cobra and the Southern charm of Carroll Shelby. The unapologetic, brash, American performance, in both the Cobra and its founder delivered 0-60 times in an astonishing 4.9 seconds, well ahead of contemporary Jaguars and Aston Martins. Even production Corvettes were a full 3 seconds slower. Following its first competition outings, the Cobra proved to be a durable, quick, and extremely capable car evolving from the 260 cu. in V8 to the 289 V8 and eventually 427 variants, all of which went on to achieve significant track victories both with campaigned cars and in the hands of privateer racers. This Shelby, CSX2105, has been documented in Shelby Registries and reviewed by numerous authoritative Shelby experts reporting on the early history. According to the World Registry of Cobras and GT40s, this car is the 105th of 126 Mark 1 Cobras built. One of just 51 in this series fitted with the later desirable 289 cu. in. engine, it was finished in blue with a black interior, billed to Shelby American April 1,1963, and dispatched from AC Motors on January April 4, 1963. After delivery to New York port, CSX2105 was invoiced June 5, 1963 by Shelby American headquarters, Venice, CA to Coventry Motors, Walnut Creek, CA. The earliest documented owner, William Nicholas, Mill Valley, CA is believed to have purchased the car in the late 1960s or early 70s, described by Nicholas as blue with black interior, side exhaust, and a modified 289 engine. By 1976 CSX2105 appears in SAAC-1 Oakland, CA 8/76 in similarly described condition with added notation including a black rollbar and a black/gold CA license plate CCZ 897. Ownership history continued to be documented into the 1980s when it was revealed, at some point in the history of the car, that it had been converted to the later, more desirable rack and pinion steering arrangement adopted in later series production. To accomplish this, a small support section, formerly used to anchor a segment of the worm and gear steering, was removed and the new steering installed. Favorably, as this box segment retains the CSX2105 stamping. This removed portion remains with the car today. Additional research indicates that the rear fenders of this car were altered to accept wider tires. While previous registry information has mistakenly identified history for this car, possibly confusing it with CSX2016, CSX2105 has been carefully reviewed by expert Shelby SAAC Regional Director, Jim Wicks and Ned Scudder, and further by Lynn Park, as documented in letters identifying the addition of rack and pinion steering, an acceptable and often performed period upgrade. In addition to the many original features visible on CSX2105, Cobra experts will appreciate that both left and right door hinge plates bear the matching number 105, the left side hood latch bears the number 105, and the boot latch also bears the number 105. These numbers are consistent with factory stampings applied in AC body panel production to all opening features, an important fabrication feature for aluminum panel makers to match the handmade nature of these cars, which is now a critical element in establishing the originality of these rare cars. Under current ownership since 2010, CSX2105 spent almost 50 years in California before being imported by a collector in Australia in 2002 who later sold it to the current owner. Over the years, recent owners have preserved the many finishes believed to be original with sensitive restoration of original components to preserve as much of the integrity of this early 289 powered Cobra. Today CSX2105 remains as a fine example combining restored exterior features and original components. The metallic blue paint is accented by dual white stripes covering the entire centered length of the body. The paint finish is glossy and smooth with appropriate attention to fit and finish of the factory aluminum opening features and 289 Mark 1 aluminum body. The exterior trim, while limited, is in excellent condition overall including the windscreen trim and glass, lights, lenses, and emblems. The grille is correctly finished, and the underside valance continues the dual stripe theme flanked by chrome bumper uprights. The chrome wire wheels are beautifully finished with dual ear, and center hub knockoffs. A set of Michelin 205/70 R15 radial XWX tires give the car a hunkered down wide stance, filling the flared wheel arches with ample rubber. The interior is finished with black leather seats and surrounding black materials consistent with factory application and materials when new. The seats have a wonderfully settled patina, slightly weathered but retaining a snug and supple feel when one is nestled in the driver’s seat. The dashboard and instruments are properly arrayed with correct dial faces and nicely preserved indication, though some instruments have been noted as later series replacements likely sourced over the years and replaced as needed. The steering wheel has been preserved over the years and maintains a remarkable warm wood tone with just the right amount of wear, befitting the general character of the interior. While many cars can feature a full restoration, this Cobra offers a more engaging experience in keeping with the history of these cars. CSX2105 reveals both the lineage and performance connection infused by one of the most heralded individuals in sports car history, Carroll Shelby. Releasing the matching VIN stamped hood lock and raising the original aluminum hood, the 289 V8 engine has been treated to a welcome addition to Shelby’s motorsport legacy, four dual-throat down-draft Weber carburetors. Brilliantly trumpeting the added horsepower from the already potent engine, these Weber carburetors are a feast for both the eyes and accelerator pedal. Correct Cobra engine components such as Cobra valve covers, AC Cars chassis tag, correct hoses, and linkages are in place, reflecting proper care and attention to originality in keeping with the interior finishes. The welcoming combination of originality and performance delivers handily both on the display field and when driving. The trunk compartment is easily opened by twisting the original factory latch also revealing the correct matching number stamping, further indicative of the correct and original factory aluminum deck lid. The trunk is clean and tidy, once again representative of the original finishes housing a full-sized white wall spare wheel. The underside of the car presents largely original components, finishes, and details. The clean and well-maintained underside is again reflective of the preservation and use dedicated to this car over the documented years of enthusiast ownership. CSX2105 fires up instantly with a booming growl indicative of Cobra heritage. The side exit exhaust offers a bellowing performance note, reflecting the power of these impressive cars. Once nestled into the driver’s seat, the view over the twin-striped hood not only looks great, but the lines also historically aid in centering the car for precise competition cornering. Once the engine is warm and the competition seat belts are latched, a quick flick into first gear sets you off on the drive of a lifetime. Cobras are eager to open up even on soft throttle, but the Webers add a joyful punch to the already impressive acceleration delivering smooth and sonorous revs through every gear change. Freeway speeds are quickly achieved, and braking is still very impressive despite the years of advances achieved since these cars were new. Handling and ride are notably better than early worm and gear cars, a polite nod to the improvement selected years ago for this car. This 289 Shelby Cobra comes with copies of letters identifying the key elements of the history of this car with expert statements on the ownership and originality of CSX2105. Also included with the car is the original CSX2105 stamped box section, a car cover, black center-zip tonneau cover, side curtains, an unassembled convertible top with top bows, a spare radiator hose, and spare ignition wires. An unrepeatable opportunity, CSX2105 is ready for enjoyable showing, driving, events, tours, or the sheer joyful engagement of anyone who has ever desired to own and drive one of the most important sports cars of the modern era, the 289 Shelby Cobra. 1963 Shelby 289 Cobra Fantasy Junction If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1960 Aston Martin DB4GT

One of only 45 RHD cars produced from a total of 75 examples of the beautiful competition variant of the Aston Martin DB4, the DB4 GT that was formally introduced in September 1959 at the London Motor Show. The new competition car was based on the race winning prototype DP199/1, and that same year Astons took the World Sportscar Championship title. The GT prototype won its first outing at Silverstone in May 1959 on the Bank Holiday weekend in the hands of Stirling Moss The DB4GT was developed for increased performance by making it shorter, lighter and more powerful. In order to save weight, the wheelbase was reduced by 13 cm (approx. 5 inches). Altogether, weight was reduced by 91 kg (200 lbs), and the engine was extensively modified, featuring a higher compression (9:1) twin plug cylinder head and breathing through triple twin choke Weber 45 DCOE carburettors. Power output was outstanding: 302 bhp at 6000 rpm, a useful increase from the claimed 240 bhp of the standard car and qualifying the GT as the most powerful British car of its era. Maximum speed was 153 mph with a zero-to-sixty time of 6.1 seconds. It was also one of the first cars that could go from standstill to 100 mph and then brake to a dead stop in under 20 seconds – a tribute, in part, to its upgraded Girling braking system, as used on Aston’s competition sports racers of the era Our motorcar was supplied on the 19th of August 1960 to Mr J B Swift of Trentham, Stoke on Trent. Mr Swift sold the motorcar in 1963 to Mr H Chambers who was its custodian for the following year. In 1964 this DB4GT began its illustrious racing career under the stewardship of Mr R J Duncan, an Ulsterman who in that same year won the Kirkiston Ulster 500. The Aston returned to England in 1969 & was most successfully campaigned by well-known historic sportscar racer John Goate, notably winning numerous events held at Silverstone, Le Mans & Spa Francorchamps In 1986 the Aston moved to the USA & under the auspices of Mr Murray Smith, it continued its winning ways, culminating in a 1st place at the Aston Martin Festival at Monterey in 1989. The second placed car, also a DB4GT was driven by none other than Stirling Moss! In 1993 our DB4GT returned home to the UK and later resumed its racing career in 2003 with Tarek Mahmoud, the motorcar having been maintained without regard to expense by respected Aston Martin specialists Goldsmith & Young. The DB4GT is presented with the following documentation, held in two large files Factory build sheet, original Green/buff log book/registration, original drivers instruction hand book, extensive maintenance history from new, MOT certificates dating back to 1985 and previous FIA Historic Vehicle Identity Form Dylan Miles Ltd are proud to present for sale this outstanding and important DB4GT with its superb historic racing history, restored over an 18 month period with a no expense spared and completed in late 2015 with a 100 point ‘body off’ restoration by marque exponents Aston Engineering to the exact DB4 GT full road specification as originally manufactured together with the added benefits of a 4.7 Litre lead-free specification engine and electric power steering Supplied with a complete photographic record and detailed invoices of the restoration, this highly significant Aston Martin is offered with two large historical chassis files and a copy of the collectible Palawan ‘Aston Martin DB4GT’ book numbered to this cars chassis number 1960 Aston Martin DB4GT Dylan Miles Ltd If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer.
