  • 1992 Lancia Hyena Zagato

IT CAME FROM ANOTHER PLANET You could be forgiven for not immediately recognizing the striking coupé that stands before you. Smooth and streamlined, subtle and refined, its shape is unlike any of its contemporaries, both beautiful and purposeful in equal measure. Look a little closer and there are clues to the car’s seemingly extraterrestrial origins: its Lancia badging; the Italian firm’s famous Elefantino Rosso logo, emblematic of the marque’s extraordinary rally dominance; and the lines that whisper, rather than shout, of the legendary Fulvia Sport Zagato coupé. Still, only true cognoscenti will know the name. One of the rarest and most special road-going automobiles to ever bear a Lancia crest, the Hyena Zagato combined coachbuilt beauty with one of the most evocative, characterful, and successful drivetrains ever to grace the World Rally Championship. The Lancia Hyena Zagato owes its existence to Paul Koot, a collector and the Italian firm’s official Dutch importer—a man with an eye for beauty and a head for business. Koot’s interests reached beyond his dealership, Lusso Service Holland, and in the early 1990s, he found himself restoring a fabled Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato. The project led him to visit Elio Zagato, and the topic of conversation soon turned to the small, affordable Zagato-bodied coupés of the company’s past. From that meeting came a striking two-door study from Zagato’s Marco Pedracini—a beautiful modern reimagining of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Zagato ‘Coda Tonda’ of the early 1960s. Koot immediately realized the potential of combining Pedracini’s stylish, aerodynamic coupé with the raw performance of the Lancia Delta HF Integrale, and a legend was born. Work began immediately on a concept, which was shown for the first time at the comparatively minor Brussels Motor Show in 1992. The car was a hit, and by the time the event hall doors had closed, some 12 orders had been placed, taking the project from dream to reality and firing the starting pistol on series production. Conceived to compete with the Fiat Coupé, Koot and Zagato targeted a run of some 600 Hyenas, each to be sold through Lancia’s existing dealer network—an area in which Koot had unique expertise. But while the Italian giant wasn’t opposed to the idea, it also had no appetite to invest heavily in the project. Rather than integrate production, Koot was forced to use road-ready Integrale Evoluziones as the basis for the Hyena Zagato, sharply increasing overall costs and pushing the final ticket price to a dizzying $75,000—a full $10,000 more than an Acura NSX. Though eye-wateringly expensive, the car more than lived up to its billing when the first prototype was shown at the 1993 Paris Motor Show. After being prepared as rolling chassis in the Netherlands, the cars were sent to Turin, where they were fully rebodied by Zagato. A lightweight steel structure was installed, which was then fitted with aluminum body panels, with composites used for the doors and bumpers to help save weight. The rear seats were gone, as were the rear doors, while the interior was completely revised, a sea of fine leather and lightweight carbon fiber echoing the spartan competition-inspired cabin of the contemporary Alfa Romeo SZ. The final design was significantly more stiff, compact, and slippery than the original Integrale, not to mention some 440 pounds lighter. The Hyena’s otherworldly looks were only half the appeal. Beneath the stunning “double-bubble” bodywork lay the celebrated drivetrain of one of the most decorated models in rally history, with its four-wheel-drive configuration and flame-spitting 2-litre twin-cam 16-valve ‘four’ borrowed directly from the all-conquering Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione I. Only in the Hyena, things were made even more radical. Where the road-going version of the rally legend produced 210 horsepower, the coachbuilt Hyena turned the volume up to 11 with a rip-snorting 250 horsepower. That was enough for a 0-60 mph sprint time of just 5.4 seconds—a full 0.3 seconds quicker than the rally exile on which it was based. Ultimately, though Koot and Zagato had overcome huge obstacles to bring the Hyena to production, it would be factors outside of their control that would finally seal the project’s fate. Just as they were entering the home straight, Lancia called time on the Delta HF Integrale. As the rally icon was shelved, so too was the Hyena, which depended completely on a steady stream of donor cars from the factory. In the end, despite its huge promise, just 24 examples of this special machine would ever be built, making it one of the rarest production cars ever to leave the Lancia works. LEADER OF THE PACK This car, the 18th Hyena built, was kept in storage until its import to the UK in 2001 by factory-appointed agents Walkers Garage of Northallerton, North Yorkshire. Finished in red with contrasting black interior, the car was sold to its first owner in April 2002, with whom it would remain for the next 19 years. During this time, it covered barely 30,000 kilometers, appearing periodically at high-profile events, including the Lancia Centenary celebrations in Torino in 2006, as well as in publications including Auto Italia and Viva Lancia. In late 2021, the car was acquired by the consignor, who promptly tasked renowned Lancia Delta specialist Italiamotorsport Parussini of Udine, Italy, to undertake a full restoration. The brief was to upgrade the car to ultimate specification; something achieved with distinction over the ensuing 12 months. The work performed included a complete strip down and bare-metal respray in Grigio Alloy, complemented by a re-trim in turquoise Alcantara of the same type used on the limited-run “Martini 6” Delta HF Integrale. Mechanically, the car’s engine was remapped, increasing power from the 250 horsepower typically quoted for a “standard” Hyena to a claimed figure of 320 horsepower. A bespoke exhaust system was fitted to replicate the distinctive note achieved by the Group A Delta Integrale rally car, while both the suspension and brakes were uprated to manage the increased performance. Since completion, the car has covered only approximately 100 kilometers, during which it is said to have performed flawlessly; its odometer figure at the time of cataloguing is just 31,234 kilometers (~19,407 miles). Exquisitely restored, generously specified, and with impeccable two-owner provenance, this Hyena Zagato represents a unique opportunity to enter the rarefied world of bespoke Lancia ownership. Notably, it is believed to be the first example of this rare and significant model currently residing in the United States. Further enhanced by its prodigious performance, it represents a rare insight into the car the Delta Integrale might conceivably have become—not to mention perhaps the ultimate collaboration between two of the most illustrious names in Italian motoring history. 1992 Lancia Hyena Zagato RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1970 Jaguar E-Type

The swinging sixties were only just beginning to gain momentum when Jaguar made a brilliant design statement at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1961, the impact of which would go beyond that of an iconic new sports car. With its sensually charged shapes and bold proportions – an ever-long hood, short rear end with side-opening tailgate – the new Jaguar E-Type defined a new era. The design of the Jaguar E-Type came from Malcolm Sayers – the special appeal lay in the combination of charisma and driving performance. This Jaguar was intended to replace the D-Type used in racing, but was modified for the road after its retirement from motorsport. In terms of performance, the E-Type competed with sports cars in the highest performance class, but these were twice as expensive. The Jaguar E-Type 4.2 Coupé offered here was delivered in New York in March 1970 in the wonderful and rare color Willow Green and black leather interior. It is matching numbers and color and perfectly serviced and maintained. We offer this beautiful, sporty and passionate to drive coupé, with Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate, Swiss road registration and veteran approved, in a top maintained and beautiful collector condition. 1970 Jaguar E-Type Lutziger Classic Cars AG If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1997 Ferrari 456 GTA

This low-mileage, family-friendly 456 offers a sensibly guided entry into the addictive world of Ferrari V12 GTs. Produced from 1992 until 2003, the Ferrari 456 and later 456 M are front-engined 'Grand Tourers' in true Ferrari tradition and were an overdue replacement for the outdated, front-engined 412 which had been the company's premium four-seat V12 car for many years. The name 456 refers to the fact that each cylinder displaces 456cm3 and this was the last Ferrari to use this naming convention. Despite its supercar performance, 436bhp, 0-60mph in 5.2 seconds, and a top speed of 188mph, the 456 has a relatively unstressed engine which has proven to be a very reliable unit. Its looks are smooth and understated, and distinctive external features include a small grille with fog lights on the outside, bonnet-mounted air scoops (removed on the 456M), and pop-up headlights, making this the last Ferrari to do so. The model was warmly received by press and enthusiasts alike and, although not produced in large numbers, was always gently in demand by 'silver-haired' Ferrari owners before the 456M was eventually replaced in 2004 by the 612 Scaglietti. Imported from Hong Kong in 2020, this right-hand drive automatic gearbox car remained with its first owner but was not UK-registered until 1st April this year. It's finished in Tour de France Blue over a natural tan leather interior and has only covered some 36,750km (22,840 miles) from new. When the car arrived, it had all its relevant NOVA documentation indicating that there were no taxes or duties outstanding, but it's clearly now UK-registered and good to go for any potential purchaser. It's supplied with both keys, its original book pack and some earlier invoices. Our diligent vendor sent the car to specialists Keys Motorsport to have it completely gone through prior to the sale, and the list of work included a major cambelt service, cambelt tensioner bearings, cam cover and inlet manifold gaskets and a few adjustments to the ignition timing. 14 hours of labour are listed on the invoice, which totalled £3,558. The Ferrari now runs perfectly and sitting on a set of refurbished alloys with new branded tyres, looks simply fabulous. Good-looking and practical, Ferrari 456 GT four-seaters are now getting the attention they have so long deserved, with the inevitable upward movement in values so, as they say in Italian, 'Battere il ferro quando egrave caldo' (Strike whilst the iron is hot). 1997 Ferrari 456 GTA Iconic Auctioneers Ltd If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1991-porsche-911-reimagined-by-singer

Built to RHD specifications for use by the consigning owner in Hong Kong, HK2, the second Classic Study to be delivered to Hong Kong, was completed by Singer Vehicle Design in the summer of 2015. This would be just the fourteenth Classic Study to be completed by Singer Vehicle Design and as such, Singer’s founder Rob Dickinson was personally involved in every step of the car’s build process, from initial specification discussions to completion and delivery to Hong Kong. HK2 is finished in Dolphin Grey, a colour made famous by Porsche on the 356, alongside ghosted stripes with blue lettering, and blue-painted Fuchs-style wheels to match. Mechanically, it is optioned with the Ohlins adjustable suspension, a leather-wrapped roll cage, and the five-speed manual gearbox. Further options include the exposed fuel and oil filler caps, grey ceramic coated exhaust, and nickel-plated bumperettes. The blue detailing on the exterior carries through to the car’s interior, with the interior trimmed in matching blue leather and carpets. Options include the Recaro sport seats with black-painted seatbacks, and the Becker radio. Upon the consignor’s move home from Hong Kong to his native England, HK2 would also find its way to the U.K. but not before being sent to Singer Vehicle Design’s headquarters in Los Angeles. There, its engine was upgraded to 4.0-litre specifications, having been initially fitted with the 3.8-litre engine option as that was the largest available at the time of its build. The car was also fitted with upgraded exhaust system to reduce in-cabin noise and drone. Further work was done by Tuthill to tune the suspension specifically for use on U.K. roads. Since returning to the U.K., the car has been maintained by singer’s approved aftersales partners and more recently at Singer’s own facilities in the U.K. Offered in partnership between RM Sotheby’s and Singer Vehicle design, the car is offered with a full Singer Vehicle Design warranty, having been prepared to meet Singer’s pre-owned ‘Encore’ standards. With the order books for the Classic Study having been closed two year ago and production now coming to an end, these cars still remain highly sought after for their sensational driving dynamics and attention to detail. Beautifully specified by the commissioning owner whom the car is offered on behalf of today, HK2 would be a fantastic addition to any collection and would revel in being used and enjoyed as its creators intended. 1991 Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. Our example is one of those rare cars of the C series and was first registered on the 28th of February 1970. In the rather rare combination of “Condagreen” with a black fabric/vinyl interior and the 15-inch Fuchs rims this 911 is the perfect example of a late 60s, early 70s sports car. Several years ago, the interior of the targa was restored and recently it received a restoration to the coachwork including a complete repaint in its original colour. Receipts for all this work are available and will be handed over with the car. In 2023, the car was taken by the vendor in Holland and then imported into Germany. The 911 is in very good condition with the engine running faultlessly and the 5-speed gearbox shifting without any issues. The car has German documents on H-plates and Swiss customs duties have so far not been settled. For a Swiss buyer the car will be properly imported and MOT'd after the sale. 1970 Porsche 911 E Oldtimer Galerie International GmbH If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. The Cultivated Collector’s 1986 Lamborghini Countach 5000QV, chassis 12990, is a head-turning example finished in the beautiful colorway of Rosso over Champagne. 12990 was delivered to its first owner by Meadowlands Car Imports of North Bergen, NJ in April of 1986, having left the factory with the order box checked for the optional rear wing, and retains it to this day, along with the highly uncommon front wing that was present to make the car road compliant. Today, having covered 26,500km, 12990 has enjoyed just two owners from new while spending time in both Michigan and Illinois, and wears mostly original Rosso paint with the stunning Champagne interior showing minimal wear from new. The sale of 12990 includes all records and paperwork from new, inclusive of the original sales invoice, as well as owners manuals. Benefitting from regular and consistent servicing from new, 12990 has recently undergone service in preparation for sale at Vantage Motors, which includes repair and remedy of an exhaust leak, as well as repairing the air injection pipes on the intake manifold. 12990 is eager to run with the best and enthusiastically begin its next chapter on the open roads. 1986 Lamborghini Countach 5000 quattrovalvole The Cultivated Collector LLC If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1989 Mercedes-Benz 560 SEC 1

A stunning example of AMG's autobahn-crushing, 6.0-liter DOHC super coupe; one of the decade's most iconic and era-defining poster cars A well-presented AMG Certified Widebody with 89,832 kilometers ~ 55,819 miles Since New Unquestionably one of the most iconic and recognizable German supercars of its era, this AMG-modified super-coupe offers unparalleled luxury, performance, and German reliability wrapped in a visually stunning package. In October 2024 this benchmark example was inspected and verified by AMG Classic and received its Certificate and 'Certified Original' Plaque This is a German built example and was built by none other than Hartmut Feyhl, AMG employee number “25” which is stamped on the engine. Importantly Hartmut Feyhl would go on to found the world renowned engineering firm RENNtech in 1989. During Monterey Car Week 2024, this car was displayed at the Quail Motorsports Gathering and was subsequently photographed by RIOCAM. It will be featured in an upcoming coffee table book. This is a highly optioned factory AMG Widebody, less than 50 cars were made, the history has been researched and the car retains its original engine and special features. The previous owner acquired it in Japan in 2016 and in 20The underside had been dry iced detailed and the older repaint presents nicely throughout. The interior is equally nice with only minor wear. The car drives really well and pulls hard in the high RPMS. From its 205-employee operation in Affalterbach, Germany, the engine builder, racing team, and tuning firm AMG had, by 1989, already released some of the most powerful, outrageous, and well-engineered creations. At this time, the company was nearly four years into a marquee motorsport partnership with Mercedes-Benz and growing a thriving, worldwide network of franchisees providing road cars to eager clients. In fact, AMG and Sauber were the corporate partners by which Mercedes-Benz had clandestinely instigated in 1984, —and then officially announced in 1989, its return to the highest echelons of motorsport with the reactivation of its legendary Sportabteilung—"sports department”—and famous “Silver Arrow” racecars. But the world-beating partnership between Mercedes-Benz and AMG, which many automotive enthusiasts and motorsport fans today take for granted, is unlikely to have ever materialized without the novel, high-performance engineering breakthroughs developed for Mercedes-Benz engines by AMG co-founder, Erhard Melcher. Melcher's 1984 opus—the dual-overhead-camshaft cylinder-head conversion kit for Mercedes-Benz's M117 V-8 engine not only made his reputation, but also solidified the superiority, uniqueness, and cachet of AMG's products against the near-endless sea of aftermarket tuning shops. This 1989 560 SEC AMG 6.0 “Wide-Body” is an exemplary representative of one of AMG's wildest and most famous era-defining creations. The insane costs of AMG's 6.0-liter engine package, DOHC conversion, and wide-body aero kit tacked onto the sticker price of a brand-new, flagship S-Class coupe unequivocally made this car one of the most expensive roadgoing marvels of the “Excessive Eighties.” Presented today in the ideal color combination of Blue-Black Metallic (199U) over Anthracite leather, this 560 SEC was originally specified as a German-market order with gray leather upholstery and completed in September 1989. At the time of this car's production, the hottest market for AMG customer cars was Japan. Those that ended up there were created via two distinct methods. The first—as evinced by the characteristics of this car—involved the acquisition of barely-used or brand-new German-market cars and their subsequent modification by AMG in Affalterbach prior to export to Japan. The second method involved the conversion of Japanese-market cars with crate engines and parts supplied by AMG Germany to dealer group Yanase's network of AMG Japan branches. AMG Germany transformed the subject lot into its current specification on October 4, 1989, and immediately exported it to Japan. It then remained in Japan until April 2016, where it was last registered in Kobe (Osaka) as “302 47-76” with approximately 87,850 kilometers (54,587 miles) showing at the time of export to the United Kingdom. Following a brief spell in the United Kingdom, Austrian collector purchased and registered it in Bregenz as “B 8792.” In 2020, it was then acquired by a previous owner and exported from Austria with just 88,240 kilometers (54,829 miles) indicated. The car's Anthracite leather interior remains attractive and well-preserved with notable highlights including a set of multifunction Recaro Ideal seats, as well as an attractive complement of burl wood trim on the doors, dashboard, and center console. A four-spoke, leather-wrapped, AMG-branded Momo M38 steering wheel fronts an instrument suite featuring AMG's signature 300-kph speedometer and clad in burl wood. The car's exterior and mechanicals remain equally correct, with AMG body numbers found on the front fenders, bumpers, and side skirts, while the DOHC valve cover stampings correctly identify the engine's 6.0-liter displacement, sequence number, and appropriate employee ID code. Further stampings on the heads, exhaust manifolds, and throttle body are similar testaments to this coupe's significant modifications. Even the color-matched set of OZ Aero III wheels bear 1989-date codes, and these cover uprated twin-piston front brakes and a full “AMG by Bilstein” suspension. Recently the AMG has received routine mechanical servicing and fitted a new set of high-performance Continental ExtremeContact 02 tires. Unquestionably one of the most iconic and recognizable German cars of its era, this AMG-modified super-coupe offers unparalleled luxury, performance, and German reliability wrapped in a visually stunning package. Alongside RUF's Porsche 930-based CTR Yellowbird, there is perhaps no more exemplary representative of Germany's Eighties tuning culture than the wide-body 1989 Mercedes-Benz S-class Coupe offered here. More expensive than a Ferrari Testarossa, faster than a Lamborghini Countach, and with ample room for four, it is the quintessential Youngtimer collector car. 1989 Mercedes-Benz 560 SEC Driver Source Fine Motorcars If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1965 Jaguar E-Type Series 3

The E-Type Jaguar debuted at the 1961 Geneva Motorshow as a replacement for the hugely successful Jaguar XK150. The new E-Type was nothing short of a revelation, with its heady blend of supercar performance, breath-taking styling and low price tag, the newcomer left its rivals reeling and customers desperate to own one. Designed by William Lyons and Malcolm Sayer, the E-Type was launched in 1961 in both fixed head coupe and roadster form with design inspiration taken from the Le-Mans winning D-Type sports racer. Built around a steel monocoque chassis with a front sub-frame to cradle the engine, all-round independent suspension using coil springs and dampers to the rear with torsion bars and wishbones to the front. Brakes were Dunlop discs all round, mounted inboard to the rear alongside the differential to reduce un-sprung weight. Powered by Jaguar’s XK straight six engine, the E-Type offered breath taking performance to rival both Ferrari and Aston Martin. The first significant up-grade occurred in October 1964 with the launch of the 4.2-litre version. Along with the bigger, torquier engine came a more user-friendly gearbox with synchromesh on first gear, and a superior Lockheed brake servo. Apart from ‘4.2’ badging, the car’s external appearance was unchanged but under the skin there were numerous detail improvements, chiefly to the electrical and cooling systems, and to the seating arrangements. The Jaguar E-Type 4.2 Series 1 Roadster (chassis number 1E1245) offered here at Autostorico is finished in Signal Red with Beige leather interior. This original UK example was Supplied to its first owner via Henlys London on 1st July 1965. Passing through several owners before being purchased in 2003 by a Jaguar enthusiast who has maintained it to a very high standard with no expense spared. Recent works have included a mechanical refresh, brake overhaul, full suspension setup, new exhaust system and a new Mohair hood. 1965 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 Autostorico Partners LLP If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. • 1963 Aston Martin DB4 'SS Engine' Series V Convertible

With its introduction in 1958, the DB4 model advanced Aston Martin into the future. Entirely new from the ground-up, a rigid steel platform chassis was created and fitted with all-around disc brakes, rack-and-pinion steering, and independent front suspension. Celebrated engineer Tadek Marek conceived an all-new inline six-cylinder twin-cam engine with aluminum block and head. All this was clad with a striking fastback body fabricated in aluminum alloy and designed by Carrozzeria Touring of Milan using their vaunted Superleggera (super light) principle of wrapping lightweight panels around a taut, small-diameter steel tube skeleton—imbuing the Superleggera package with remarkable rigidity—while the sensational styling would set the tone for Aston Martin for many years to come. Over its five-year production run, Aston Martin continuously refined the DB4, with the Aston Martin Owners Club now separating the model into five distinct series. Upgrades to successive series included subtle body modifications such as round, recessed rear lights, a flatter bonnet scoop, and a new, slatted grille, in addition to many mechanical refinements. Perhaps the most notable evolution occurred in 1961, when Aston Martin allowed customers to specify the Special Series, or “SS,” engine. This engine, as offered with the DB4 Vantage, was fitted with triple SU carburetors, larger valves, and a compression ratio of 9:1, among other high-performance, race-proven modifications. The resulting SS engine was quoted as developing 266 brake horsepower at 5,750 rpm, a useful increase compared to the standard engine output of 240 brake horsepower at 5,500 rpm. Later in 1961, Aston Martin unveiled their elegant convertible version of the DB4. Just 70 examples of the DB4 convertible would ultimately be produced, making it one of the rarest production cars in Aston Martin’s history. The high-specification DB4 convertible on offer here, chassis number DB4C/1082/L, certainly stands out as a special outlier among these already-exclusive vehicles. Built 21 September 1962 and dispatched a few days later to California Aston Martin distributor Peter Satori of Los Angeles, this DB4 Convertible is one of 33 examples equipped with the uprated SS engine—but one of just eight Series V examples with left-hand drive, and the only one to be finished in the stunning livery of Black Pearl over Red leather. Following its arrival in the US, DB4C/1082/L was displayed at the 1963 Los Angeles International Motor Show before being sold to its first owner, listed as the Wheeldex Simpla Corporation of Los Angeles. (Wheeldex Simpla is perhaps best known as inventors of the Simplawheel, a precursor to the Rolodex.) The car is believed to have remained in California through its next recorded owner, Forrest Moore of Aptos, California, who acquired it in the late 1970s. In the mid-1990s Moore commissioned a restoration by award-winning Aston Martin specialist Kevin Kay of Redding, California, during which the car was refinished in green. Photo documentation of this work is available. Shortly after completion, the DB4 was brokered by Aston Martin collector Eric Jeffries of Cincinnati, Ohio who sold it via Bob Fountain of The Aston Workshop in the United Kingdom at the Techno Classica Essen Exhibition. The next recorded owners were T.J. Bahr, followed by Wolfgang G. Koehne, both of Germany. In 2008, the car was acquired by a prominent collection in the Middle East; next, in early 2022, it was purchased by the consignor, who commissioned a full restoration with the noted firm Classic Motor Cars of Shropshire, UK. The fresh restoration (also photo-documented) commenced with stripping the car to its bare shell and refinishing the chassis in correct red oxide before beginning an exhaustive refurbishing and reassembly process. This work included new suspension components, brakes, and complete electrical renewal. Marque specialists Oselli Ltd. of Milton Keynes, UK were tasked with rebuilding the car’s numbers-matching Special Series engine. During the rebuild, the cylinders were bored to accommodate larger pistons, increasing the engine’s displacement to 4.2-liters, a popular upgrade delivering increased power. And finally, the DB4’s body was finished in its-factory correct Black Pearl, while the interior was trimmed with genuine Red Connolly Vaumol leather hides and grey Wilton wool carpets. The Borrani-style wheels have been shod with new Avon Turbosteel tires. The sale is accompanied by a copy of its factory build sheet, tool roll with period tools, jack and hammer, plus a rare leather-bound owner’s manual with both convertible and Special Series supplemental pages. In addition, a factory sales brochure and event program from the 1963 Los Angeles Motor Show are included. With its impressive performance and stunning Touring-designed coachwork, the Aston Martin DB4 is among the most coveted of all British sports and GT cars, held by many aficionados to be the “connoisseur’s choice” within the DB4/5/6 lineage. This superb example wears a concours-quality restoration and is powered by its number-matching Special Series engine. As such this rare and highly specified convertible offers a truly unrepeatable opportunity to acquire and enjoy what is certainly among the finest specimens available in the world today. 1963 Aston Martin DB4 SS Engine Convertible RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer. The notice and take down procedure is described here: https://www.speedholics.com/copyright With its introduction in 1958, the DB4 model advanced Aston Martin into the future. • 1989 Mercedes-Benz 560SL

The Sport Leicht portfolio by Mercedes-Benz can trace its roots directly to the zenith of sportscars, the 300 SL. The Gullwing entered production in 1954 and, with the Roadster that followed, the 300 SL platform set the mould for the following generations of SL cars. The Paul Bracq-designed “Pagoda” roofline signified the second-generation W113 platform, while the SL was reinvented again in 1971. The C107 was introduced in coupé form while the R107 was a two-seat convertible featuring a removable hardtop. Mercedes-Benz devised multiple models under the C107 and R107 umbrella, all wearing similar body styles with names set by engine displacement. The European market welcomed the 2.8-litre 280 SL and SLC as the entry level models, while options for the rest of the world were offered on a greater scale. The 560 SL topped the range, powered by a 5.6-litre V-8 engine, and built between 1986 to 1989 model years for the Australian, Japanese and US markets. The 560 SL offered here was delivered new to Florida in October 1989, where it stayed for two years until it was acquired by its next owner in Baldwin, Long Island, New York. The car left the Sindelfingen factory finished in Black over a Palomino Leather interior, the colour configuration it retains today, and was specified with automatic climate control with Thermo King air conditioning, a Becker cassette player, and a steering wheel-fitted airbag. Exported from the United States in 2009, the car is believed to have since received a replacement odometer showing in km/h. 1989 Mercedes-Benz 560SL RM Sotheby's If you are interested in the content of this listing, please contact the Dealer.
