About
Luigi Marmiroli graduated in mechanical engineering from the University of Padua, in September 1970. After an unforgettable interview with Commendatore Enzo Ferrari, he was hired by the Sports Management Studies Office of the Scuderia Ferrari. He was tasked with introducing electronic-scientific computing to support design for the first time. Since 1977 he has been a consultant for Autodelta, directed by Eng. Carlo Chiti for the F1 12V 180° engines. On January 1, 1985 he joined Lamborghini with the task of designing a new model destined to replace the fabulous Countach. That was the Lamborghini Diablo.
